Letter emailed to Virginia school board and state senator August 26, 2021.
“Good Evening,
I am writing to you this evening so you are ALL aware of what the parents in your district are feeling.
I moved my family to [redacted] from San Diego, CA in June to get away from the stifling political environment in the State that has spread like wildfire into their public school system. This was a very difficult decision after having lived there for 13 years. All four of our children were either born in CA or lived most of their lives there, so you can imagine all of the constructs that went into making this decision.
While looking for an area to live in the [redacted] region, I purposely bought a home in the [redacted] school district. This was at a significant cost. Just in transactional fees and moving costs alone, the price tag exceeded $150K…and that doesn’t include the cost of the home purchased here. It goes without saying that this was an important decision for our family, and one that I do not take lightly.
After the [redacted] school board meeting last week, it became apparent that the school board isn’t strong enough to focus on what they should be; academics (reading, writing, ‘rithmetic…you get the point). Instead, the board focused on political narratives, none of which should even be a consideration in our school system. I must give kudos for standing up to some of the intersectional politics that were presented, but the fact of the matter is, that decision doesn’t really impact a large number of your student population, therefore it shouldn’t be a difficult decision. Moreover, any political agenda that is presented to be part and parcel to education should be denied on its face. Period. Allowing it shows the political motives of the Board Members, rather than the educational interests of the students and parents, of which come the money to fund the school system.
As educators, empirical evidence, ethical research (unbiased), and an understanding of how these things impact our children and families should be at the forefront of every decision you make. Anything outside of that should be denied attention. More bluntly, you are in a place to teach our children foundational academics, not the social/emotional interpretation of their surroundings. Their social structure is formed through family and community and should be left to that.
Given the resumes of which many of you have, I find it important to point out a few things that YOU should come equipped with to a board meeting of such magnitude.
Trans Policies – The literature states that children who identify as trans are overwhelmingly likely to revert back to their birth gender by the time they are 18 years of age. Dr. King’s public comments on Fox News against the board indicates that her desire to appeal to intersectional politics overwhelms the need for attention to the literature which is a complete and utter failure.
Mask Policies – The literature states that masks are ineffective against the prevention or spread of COVID-19. It even states that on the box the masks come in. Additionally, children are susceptible to RSV (especially in humid climates) due to the constant mask-wearing. More than 500 children died of RSV last year. That is more than have died from COVID-19 in the past 18 months. Additionally, younger children develop through facial recognition (literature supported). Covering their faces, teacher’s faces, etc. stifles their development permanently. Even entertaining masks is shameful given the data available, and again, shows that Board Members want to show their political alignment, and embarrassingly, their authority over their constituents based on their political alignment.
Unfortunately, not rejecting these ideologies outright is dangerous and will undoubtedly be the undoing of our community, our State, and our Country. You had an opportunity to be a bastion of freedom in this State and the greater Country as a whole. You cowered to politics, assumingly afraid of the financial firestorm that may come about because of it. I am here to tell you that a firestorm is going to come in other forms. People are going to pull their kids out of our schools, just like we are.
Although the cumulative education on the “To” line is staggering, I feel that I must frame the future for you. Allowing masks on our children enables the masking of adults, and ushers in the shutdown that is coming in the next few weeks. When the businesses get shut down, they will not reopen. When the schools get shut down, they will not reopen. Your community will suffer and dwindle. COVID-19 isn’t what people are being told. The vaccine isn’t a vaccine at all, rather it is gene therapy. Take a look at the Nuremberg Code. Some of you are held to a professional account from this code, and should re-read it to understand the magnitude of it. Want to teach? Teach the historical lessons that exist. Teach about the Holocaust. Teach about how forced vaccines and vaccination passports were the tools the Nazis used to perpetuate one of the worst atrocities against human life ever to be recorded. If you can’t understand a simple History lesson, you certainly don’t deserve the privilege of teaching our young children. Shame on you.
Effective immediately, my Wife and I want our children disenrolled from this school district. “
“And don’t worry, I will be at the next board meeting, encouraging all in attendance to take the same actions.”

“Lt. governor raises concerns about school ‘indoctrination’
Concerned about what he calls “indoctrination” in public schools in North Carolina, Republican Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson said he is creating a new task force to collect complaints from people afraid to speak up to local school boards.
Robinson told a news conference on Tuesday that students, teachers and parents need a centralized place to send complaints, The News & Observer of Raleigh reported.
Most teachers don’t get into politics with their students, Robinson said, but some do and he said he hopes to soon be able to show people just how widespread concerns might be.
“People say, ‘Well, where’s the proof?’ Where’s the proof?’” said Robinson, a Republican who took office in January. “We’re going to bring you the proof.”
Robinson said that when he was campaigning for office in 2020, he was “besieged by folks who were complaining about things their students and their children were having to learn in public schools, that were contrary to their own beliefs.””
The following is the kind of crap that does not belong in public education.
Lies and political agendas
From the City Journal March 17, 2021
“Subversive Education
North Carolina’s largest school district launches a campaign against “whiteness in educational spaces.”
Last year, the Wake County Public School System, which serves the greater Raleigh, North Carolina area, held an equity-themed teachers’ conference with sessions on “whiteness,” “microaggressions,” “racial mapping,” and “disrupting texts,” encouraging educators to form “equity teams” in schools and push the new party line: “antiracism.”
The February 2020 conference, attended by more than 200 North Carolina public school teachers, began with a “land acknowledgement,” a ritual recognition suggesting that white North Carolinians are colonizers on stolen Native American land. Next, the superintendent of Wake County Public Schools, Cathy Moore, introduced the day’s program and shuffled teachers to breakout sessions across eight rooms. Freelance reporter A.P. Dillon obtained the documents from the sessions through a public records request and provided them to City Journal.
At the first session, “Whiteness in Ed Spaces,” school administrators provided two handouts on the “norms of whiteness.” These documents claimed that “(white) cultural values” include “denial,” “fear,” “blame,” “control,” “punishment,” “scarcity,” and “one-dimensional thinking.” According to notes from the session, the teachers argued that “whiteness perpetuates the system” of injustice and that the district’s “whitewashed curriculum” was “doing real harm to our students and educators.” The group encouraged white teachers to “challenge the dominant ideology” of whiteness and “disrupt” white culture in the classroom through a series of “transformational interventions.”
Parents, according to the teachers, should be considered an impediment to social justice. When one teacher asked, “How do you deal with parent pushback?” the answer was clear: ignore parental concerns and push the ideology of antiracism directly to students. “You can’t let parents deter you from the work,” the teachers said. “White parents’ children are benefiting from the system” of whiteness and are “not learning at home about diversity (LGBTQ, race, etc.).” Therefore, teachers have an obligation to subvert parental wishes and beliefs. Any “pushback,” the teachers explained, is merely because white parents fear “that they are going to lose something” and find it “hard to let go of power [and] privilege.”
This isn’t an aberration. In fact, the district’s official Equity in Action plan encourages teachers to override parents in the pursuit of antiracism. “Equity leaders [should] have the confidence to take risks and make difficult decisions that are rooted in their values,” the document reads. “Even in the face of opposition, equity leaders can draw on a heartfelt conviction for what is best for students and families.” In other words, the school should displace the family as the ultimate arbiter of political morality.”

Achtung!
As a student of history, the more time passes with events eerily similar to those of pre war Nazi Germany, the more concerning these events become.
Statues toppled
The pervasive theme: If you don’t like something or it offends you, destroy it regardless of historical significance or meaning to others. And do it in defiance of the law.
Just as in Nazi Germany, this has happened over recent years and continues.
Ban books or people.
President Trump and hoards of other people banned on Twitter and other social media because of opinions not disagreed with.
Books and articles banned.
Just yesterday some of the Dr. Seuss books were banned.
How absurd!
Schools
Nazi Germany
“Racial indoctrination in the classroom included teaching young children how to spot a Jew by describing the physical traits which Nazis believed were associated with inferior peoples. In some classrooms, where Jews were still present, a Jewish child would be brought to the front of the class as an example. The teacher would then use a pointer, highlighting certain facial characteristics.”
US
“Seattle Public Schools recently held a racially charged teacher-training session that convicted US schools of committing “spirit murder” against black kids and demanded that white teachers “bankrupt [their] privilege in acknowledgment of [their] thieved inheritance.”
According to whistleblower documents from the session that I’ve reviewed, the trainers began by claiming that teachers are colonizers of “the ancestral lands and traditional territories of the Puget Sound Coast Salish People.” Later: “The United States was built off the stolen labor of kidnapped and enslaved black people’s work.” The image of a black-power fist removed any lingering hope that the presentation might involve a modicum of nuance.”
“B. The Components of Hitler’s Propaganda Machine
To poison German attitudes toward Jews, the Nazis built a tremendous propaganda machine. But what were its components? Hitler and
his henchmen persuaded German citizens to destroy the Jews in three
principal ways: (1) through pervasive hate rhetoric from leading members of the Nazi power hierarchy; (2) through coordinating all hate
speech activity via creation of the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda (Propaganda Ministry), helmed by Joseph Goebbels; and (3) through eliminating independent print media.”
“In this regard, as war clouds were gathering over Europe in 1939,
Hitler made his intentions clear before sending his minions across the
continent to engage in racial mass slaughter: “I will provide a propagandistic causus belli. Its credibility doesn’t matter. The victor will not
be asked whether he told the truth.””
“3. Snuffing Out Remaining Dissent: Elimination of the Free Press
To reinforce its iron grip over the public communications sphere,
the Third Reich had to remove any independent media outlets. Radio
had already been government-controlled by the time the Nazis came to
power.26 Thus, in practical terms, snuffing out any lingering dissent
meant eliminating what remained of the written media.”
“1. Dehumanizing the Jews
Having thoroughly monopolized the media, the regime began its
unbridled verbal assault against the Jews.”
“2. Fabricating False Threats
An equally effective rhetorical strategy consisted of characterizing
the Jews as foes pledged to Germany’s destruction. German Jews, in
particular, were vilified as internal enemies cunningly plotting the sabotage of the “Fatherland” within its own borders. One commentator observes that Germans “were influenced by years of Nazi propaganda that
consistently depicted Jews as Communists and fifth columnists, blamed
them for causing the war in order to destroy Germany, and demonized them as an evil race, an alien other beyond the pale of caring.”36 And
even as Jews across the continent were being herded into cattle cars for
murder in places such as Auschwitz, “the Nazi propaganda machine was
warning the German people of the demonic Jewish intention ‘to exterminate all Germans.’”37 The Third Reich’s existential warning that it
was kill or be killed, was unequivocal: “International law and international custom will be no protection against the Jewish will for total annihilation.””
The playbook of the Democrat Party, fake news media, Twitter, et al.
Just as in Nazi Germany, the actions of radical elements such as BLM and Antifa are facilitated or ignored such as statue toppling or destruction of property.

“Why North Carolina should get away from Common Core
By Dan Forest
North Carolina should have the highest education standards in the world, but we can do better than Common Core.
Four years after Common Core was adopted by the State Board of Education, many students, parents and educators are getting their first glimpse of the implications of the new standards in the classroom. Yet after months of questions about the challenges of the standards from parents and educators, few answers have been revealed. Here is why we can to better than Common Core:
1. Local control of education is a bedrock of our nation. Parents, teachers and school boards should have ultimate control and authority over the education of their children. Common Core is a copyrighted set of standards, designed by two unaccountable national trade associations and pushed by the federal government through Race To The Top grants ($400 million in North Carolina) for states that adopted the standards. These standards cannot be changed or modified by state or local authorities. The argument is that we can add to them; however, the reality is that we cannot change anything written in them. Common Core is inflexible in meeting the demands of rapid change that is occurring around the world.
2. A One-Size-Fits-All set of standards for all of education in America is un-American. America is a nation of diversity and innovation. Each student is unique, and for the first time in the history of the world, through high-speed broadband technology and one-to-one devices in the hands of every student, we have the opportunity to customize curriculum and the education experience to each and every child. Our 50 states should be recognized for the innovation laboratories that they are, and they should be allowed to innovate in education, constantly improving standards and teaching methodologies in order to share their ideas with other states. A one-size-fits-all set of standards restricts that level of innovation.
3. Why would we settle for anything less than the best standards for North Carolina? Massachusetts had the best math standards in America, so why did we not start by adopting its standards for our students? Massachusetts educators improved their standards over decades, and they had been tried, tested, rewritten and aligned with working assessments. The Common Core standards still have not been tried, tested or rewritten for success four years after adoption in North Carolina. Why would we roll out Common Core to every school and every student in our state, all at once, without proper vetting and testing?
4. Common Core does not prepare our students for STEM education or careers. The promise of Common Core was that it was to be rigorous, internationally benchmarked, and it would prepare our students for college and career. Unfortunately, experts admit that rigor is difficult to define; the standards were never internationally benchmarked, and there is much debate as to Common Core college alignment. Experts have noted that the Common Core math sequence does not prepare our students for a rigorous STEM education in the university, nor does it prepare our students for STEM careers.
Why would the Chamber of Commerce, the conservative Fordham Institute, the Gates Foundation and others support Common Core despite its inability to prepare our students for STEM careers? Because there are significant financial interests for each. Experts have also noted that replacing classic literature with informational text, such as Consumer Reports, does not help our students develop better critical-thinking skills or reading skills.
5. Teachers need to be free to teach. Common Core is just another set of bureaucratic mandates that will force teachers to teach to the test. There has been much frustration from the teaching community regarding this aspect of No Child Left Behind, so the federal government created waivers from NCLB only to replace it with more burdensome guidelines that will take creativity and innovation out of the classroom. If we want innovation in education, we should focus less on standards and more on allowing our teachers to do what they do best — teach.
These are just a few reasons why Common Core should be replaced in North Carolina, not mentioning the high cost of implementation at a time when we need to increase teacher pay. Nor did I mention technology readiness for the standards, or even data collection of student information. It is time to replace Common Core with the best standards in the world — North Carolina standards.”

“While justifying the coming obliteration of your Second Amendment right, Colorado State Senator Jesse Ulibarri (D) shared an empowering, proven idea on how you can defend yourself from a shooter, and you don’t even need a gun to do it. Instead, use a ballpoint pen.
Yes, he really said it:
“When Congressman Giffords was shot … people who were unarmed took that person down when he stopped to reload. And so there are other ways to address violence …. very valiant folks stood up to defend themselves and protect themselves, and they did it with ballpoint pens.” ~ Colorado State Senator Jesse Ulibarri (D)””
“A Colorado legislator stated Monday that women in college should not carry guns to protect themselves from sexual assault, because they may prematurely shoot harmless men they “feel” are dangerous.
During a debate on gun control in the Colorado legislature, a bill HB13-1226, was presented to eliminate legal concealed carry on college campuses by permit holders. Rep. Joe Salazar (D-Thornton) decided that women should be denied the right to carry their legal guns because even if they felt they were going to be raped, they had call boxes and safe zones to protect them. Salazar asserted:
There are some gender inequities on college campuses. This is true. And universities have been faced with that situation for a long time. It’s why we have call boxes, that’s why we have safe zones, that’s why we have the whistles because you just don’t know who you’re going to be shootin’ at. And you don’t know if you feel like you’re going to be raped, or if you feel like someone’s been following you around, or if you feel like you’re in trouble and when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop around at somebody.”

“Registration cancellations rising at UNCG, A&T”
“UNCG about two weeks ago canceled the registrations of about 1,300 students because they had yet to pay their tuition bills — the highest number of cancellations since fall 2009, university officials said.
N.C. A&T is also seeing an increase in the number of students facing cancellation. The schools’ officials attribute their numbers to a variety of factors, including tuition increases and cuts and other changes in state and federal financial aid programs.
“Every lost soul is unacceptable to me, and it really hurts when we have to cancel that many registrations,” said Steve Roberson, UNCG dean of undergraduate studies.
By Friday, UNCG had managed to whittle that number to just 500, according to preliminary data.
But administrators are concerned about the large number of students who are having trouble paying this year.
UNCG Vice Provost Alan Boyette said recently that some students ran into problems because they did not apply for financial aid on time, or their financial aid had not yet been packaged. So, he expected that initial number would be reduced.
He said enrollment this year is “really unpredictable.” The university is gauging payments and registration on a near daily basis to get a feel for what the final number will be, he said.
“We think the timing is clearly related to the current economy,” Boyette said of the number of students paying late.
Sarah Carrigan, UNCG director of institutional research, said Friday that UNCG canceled 1,300 student registrations between July 31 and Aug. 8.
That’s an increase of about 500 over last year at that same time, she said.
As of Friday, about 800 of those students had paid to register again, Carrigan said.
A&T has also had a slight increase in the number of students who risk having their registrations canceled, said Akua Matherson, the university interim associate vice chancellor for enrollment management.
As of late Friday afternoon, the university was scheduled to cancel the registrations of 541 students, Matherson said.
That’s a 2.5 percent increase from last year, she said.
Those students had until the close of business Friday to make some kind of arrangement to keep their registration.
Staff from both universities spent much of the summer reaching out to students who were eligible to return to school but had not registered to find out what their problems are and to offer solutions.
More than 80 percent of A&T students qualify for need-based aid. Staff members have talked to families whose financial situations have changed, such as one parent losing a job.
“Some of our students are looking at some real challenges,” Matherson said.
Deborah Tollefson, UNCG financial aid director, has heard similar stories of parents’ stretched incomes.
She said that counselors steer students away from private loans.
Instead, they inform them of such options as federal loans, part-time campus employment and tuition payment plans if they are having trouble paying.
Tollefson said that UNCG has received a lot of late financial aid applications this year. Students who didn’t have to take out loans two or three years ago are now having to but are unfamiliar with the process, she said.
A&T had 10,590 students enrolled as of Wednesday, the first day of classes.
UNCG’s latest enrollment figures showed an enrollment of 17,800. Students there start classes today.”
With the Obama economic plan we get higher tuition, much higher health care costs and higher unemployment.
From Citizen Wells February 12, 2012.
“Amid chants of protest from about 100 students, the UNC Board of Governors this morning approved President Tom Ross’ proposal for tuition and
fee hikes over the next two years.
Ross’ plan would raise tuition by an average of 8.8 percent across the system and keeps increases below 10 percent on every campus.”
“Today’s vote caps months of intense debate over tuition, which the system has used in recent years to help make up for legislative cuts to its budget. The
hikes have forced more students to take on extra jobs to pay for school, or drop out altogether.”
“The state mandates that at least 25 percent of the money from the tuition dollars go toward financial aid for needy students. Some board members recently have spoken out about that requirement, saying it essentially calls for students, who themselves may be struggling, to subsidize the education of other students.”
I have met and talked with many college students. Recently a UNCG student, who is struggling to support his family and attend school, confided in me that the recent tuition and health care increases (mandatory health care insurance almost doubled) could force him to leave school.
From Citizen Wells May 2, 2012.
“The UNC system began requiring students to be covered by health insurance in the fall of 2010. Students must either prove that they have their own insurance or buy a plan offered by the UNC system. Before that, 11 campuses required insurance; rates and coverage varied significantly among the schools.
On top of rising tuition and fees, those UNC system students who buy the university-sponsored health insurance plan will face steep premium increases in the next academic year.
The cost of health insurance will climb from a range of $61 to $77 monthly to a range of $118 to $133 monthly, according to a memo sent from UNC President Tom Ross to the UNC Board of Governors. On an annual basis, most students will pay about $500 to $700 more in 2012-13, depending on the campus.”
“Mallette said the insurance increases are due to the health care usage of UNC system students during the past couple of years, plus federal regulations on preventive care and pharmacy services issued in March. The process is complicated, he said, by the new provisions of the Affordable Care Act.”
“Unemployment Rates Increase in 84 Counties in June”
“North Carolina’s statewide unemployment rate (not seasonally adjusted) was 9.9 percent in June. This was a 0.4 of a percentage-point increase from May’s revised rate of 9.5 percent, and a 1.0 percentage-point decrease over the year.
Over the month, the unemployment rate increased in 84 counties, decreased in 11 and remained the same in five. Thirty-nine counties had unemployment rates at or below the state’s 9.9 percent rate.”
“Guilford County, containing both Greensboro and High Point had an increase from 9.6 to 10.3 percent.”

History is repeating again.
Nazi Germany indoctrinated youth in schools.
“Lowered Educational Standards
Throughout Germany, the entire teaching profession all the way up to university level had been purged of Jewish professors and anyone deemed politically unreliable regardless of their proven teaching abilities or achievements, including Nobel Prize recipients. Teachers who remained in the college classroom lived under the constant fear they might be denounced by one of their students and wind up in a concentration camp. This insecurity resulted in gross academic timidity which further lowered educational standards.
National Socialist teachers of questionable ability stepped into grammar school and high school classrooms to form young minds, strictly abiding by the Party motto: “The supreme task of the schools is the education of youth for the service of Volk and State in the National Socialist spirit.” They taught Nazi propaganda as fact which was then recited back by their students as unshakable points of view with no room for disagreement or discussion.
Over the years, the Hitler Youth organization would gradually supplant the traditional elementary and secondary school system and become the main force educating German youth. And the quality of that education only got worse. Students emerging from the elite Adolf Hitler Schools were in superb physical condition and thoroughly drilled in Nazi ideology, but lacked basic skills in math and science. Biology, for example, had been completely corrupted to advance Nazi racial doctrine.
Under Hitler, a school system once among the finest in the world, became substandard almost overnight. Nazi scientists, educated before Hitler, would later complain they were partially hindered in developing new super weapons by the recruitment of young graduates from the elite Nazi schools.
In 1936, all of the Catholic parochial and Protestant denominational schools were abolished. Christian holy days which had usually meant a day off from school were now ignored and classroom prayers were banned. Celebrations of Christmas and Easter were discouraged, replaced by pre-Christian Yule or Solstice celebrations. The Nazis later forced all teachers to renounce any affiliation with professional church organizations.”
“Schirach’s goal in 1936 was to enroll the entire population of ten-year-olds throughout Germany into the Hitler Youth as a present for Hitler on his 47th birthday. Called “The Year of the Jungvolk,” enormous pressure was put on young children to join. In school, they were pressured by Nazi-affiliated teachers.”
We must give Congress an enema in 2010. Vote out jackasses, vote in statesmen who adhere to the US Constitution.
With the assistance of a new congress, we must next remove the illegal usurper Barack Obama.
Then we must remove incompetent, biased judges, state officials and then fix our schools.
Many of you are aware of a absurd decision by US District Court Judge, Nina Gershon. There are several possible reasons for Judge Gershon arriving at her unconstitutional conclusion. I can state with authority that the far left wackos have inundated the internet with their Orwellian word smithing to make it appear that Congress has broken the law by cutting off funding to ACORN. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Read the decision, do some research and check back here. I have read enough already to know that this judge should be impeached.
45 days in the district’s reform school for a 6 year old cub scout proudly displaying his new cub scout knife.
I don’t think so!
From the NY Times, October 11, 2009.
“It’s a Fork, It’s a Spoon, It’s a … Weapon?”
“Finding character witnesses when you are 6 years old is not easy. But there was Zachary Christie last week at a school disciplinary committee hearing with his karate instructor and his mother’s fiancé by his side to vouch for him.
Zachary’s offense? Taking a camping utensil that can serve as a knife, fork and spoon to school. He was so excited about recently joining the Cub Scouts that he wanted to use it at lunch. School officials concluded that he had violated their zero-tolerance policy on weapons, and Zachary was suspended and now faces 45 days in the district’s reform school.”
“But the question on the minds of residents here is: Why do school officials not have more discretion in such cases?
“Zachary wears a suit and tie some days to school by his own choice because he takes school so seriously,” said Debbie Christie, Zachary’s mother, who started a Web site, helpzachary.com, in hopes of recruiting supporters to pressure the local school board at its next open meeting on Tuesday. “He is not some sort of threat to his classmates.”
Still, some school administrators argue that it is difficult to distinguish innocent pranks and mistakes from more serious threats, and that the policies must be strict to protect students.”
“Critics contend that zero-tolerance policies like those in the Christina district have led to sharp increases in suspensions and expulsions, often putting children on the streets or in other places where their behavior only worsens, and that the policies undermine the ability of school officials to use common sense in handling minor infractions.”
““Something has to change,” said Dodi Herbert, whose 13-year old son, Kyle, was suspended in May and ordered to attend the Christina district’s reform school for 45 days after another student dropped a pocket knife in his lap. School officials declined to comment on the case for reasons of privacy.
Ms. Herbert, who said her son was a straight-A student, has since been home-schooling him instead of sending him to the reform school.
The Christina school district attracted similar controversy in 2007 when it expelled a seventh-grade girl who had used a utility knife to cut windows out of a paper house for a class project.”
“For Zachary, it is not school violence that has left him reluctant to return to classes.
“I just think the other kids may tease me for being in trouble,” he said, pausing before adding, “but I think the rules are what is wrong, not me.””
And what a sad commentary on this country. We have an illegal, usurper in the office of the presidency with no state election officials, no electors, no congressmen and no judges stepping up to uphold the US Constitution and vet Obama and a innocent six year old is expelled for proudly displaying his new cub scout knife.
Parents and citizens across the US are outraged that Obama will speak to many of the American students on September 8, 2009. The Citizen Wells blog is urging everyone to contact their state and local school officials to voice your concern about Obama imposing his agenda on our students. Adolf Hitler brainwashed the German students by indoctrinating them in the Hitler Youth. When you contact your school officials ask them 2 questions.
1. Do you plan to take part in the Obama speech presented to your students?
2. Are you going to allow opposing views?
Most citizens of the US that were not already aware of the real Obama and his past associations and agendas are awakening to the spectre of extremely radical appointments to Obama’s cabinet and especially as Obama Czars. Many are also shocked and incensed that Obama is trying to ramrod government health care down our throats in a non transparent, non partisan manner. So, why should parents be so concerned about their children listening to an Obama speech. Sounds innocent enough, right? Dead wrong.
If you are not awakening to how Obama conducts his agendas or what he is really about, consider the following. As you read below weigh rhetoric versus past performance and actions. Adolf Hitler used flowery words to seduce the German people, but his actions betrayed his motives.

Announcement from US Dept of Education August 26, 2009
“LEAD & MANAGE MY SCHOOL
Letter From Secretary Arne Duncan to School Principals
August 26, 2009
Please note that the time of this speech has changed to 12:00 noon eastern standard time.
Dear Principal:
In a recent interview with student reporter, Damon Weaver, President Obama announced that on September 8 — the first day of school for many children across America — he will deliver a national address directly to students on the importance of education. The President will challenge students to work hard, set educational goals, and take responsibility for their learning. He will also call for a shared responsibility and commitment on the part of students, parents and educators to ensure that every child in every school receives the best education possible so they can compete in the global economy for good jobs and live rewarding and productive lives as American citizens.
Since taking office, the President has repeatedly focused on education, even as the country faces two wars, the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression and major challenges on issues like energy and health care. The President believes that education is a critical part of building a new foundation for the American economy. Educated people are more active civically and better informed on issues affecting their lives, their families and their futures.
This is the first time an American president has spoken directly to the nation’s school children about persisting and succeeding in school. We encourage you to use this historic moment to help your students get focused and begin the school year strong. I encourage you, your teachers, and students to join me in watching the President deliver this address on Tuesday, September 8, 2009. It will be broadcast live on the White House website www.whitehouse.gov 12:00 noon eastern standard time.
In advance of this address, we would like to share the following resources: a menu of classroom activities for students in grades preK-6 and for students in grades 7-12. These are ideas developed by and for teachers to help engage students and stimulate discussion on the importance of education in their lives. We are also staging a student video contest on education. Details of the video contest will be available on our website www.ed.gov in the coming weeks.
On behalf of all Americans, I want to thank our educators who do society’s most important work by preparing our children for work and for life. No other task is more critical to our economic future and our social progress. I look forward to working with you in the months and years ahead to continue improving the quality of public education we provide all of our children.
Sooner or later the real agenda emerges. Revisit the following paragraph. Notice the mention of health care and “Educated people are more active civically and better informed on issues affecting their lives, their families and their futures.” This means, in everyday, non Orwellian doublespeak, that Obama and his radical associates know what is best for you and they will it explain it.

Obama and his radical associates’ actions speak far louder than their words.
Citizen Wells article of September 6, 2009:
“Michelle’s Boot Camps For Radicals
INVESTOR’S BUSINESS DAILY”
“Barack Obama was a founding member of the board of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife became executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies in 1993. Obama plans to use the nonprofit group, which he features on his campaign Web site, as the model for a national service corps. He calls his Orwellian program, “Universal Voluntary Public Service.”
Big Brother had nothing on the Obamas. They plan to herd American youth into government-funded reeducation camps where they’ll be brainwashed into thinking America is a racist, oppressive place in need of “social change.””
“But its real mission is to radicalize American youth and use them to bring about “social change” through threats, pressure, tension and confrontation — the tactics used by the father of community organizing, Saul “The Red” Alinsky.”
“”It’s a lot of talk about race, a lot of talk about sexism, a lot of talk about homophobia, talk about -isms and phobias.”
One of those -isms is “heterosexism,” which a Public Allies training seminar in Chicago describes as a negative byproduct of “capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy and male-dominated privilege.””
“The gall of it: The Obamas want to create a boot camp for radicals who hate the military — and stick American taxpayers with the bill.””…Read more

Wall Street Journal Online – Obama and Ayers Pushed Radicalism On Schools
“Despite having authored two autobiographies, Barack Obama has never written about his most important executive experience. From 1995 to 1999, he led an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), and remained on the board until 2001. The group poured more than $100 million into the hands of community organizers and radical education activists.
The CAC was the brainchild of Bill Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground in the 1960s. Among other feats, Mr. Ayers and his cohorts bombed the Pentagon, and he has never expressed regret for his actions. Barack Obama’s first run for the Illinois State Senate was launched at a 1995 gathering at Mr. Ayers’s home.”
“The CAC’s basic functioning has long been known, because its annual reports, evaluations and some board minutes were public. But the Daley archive contains additional board minutes, the Collaborative minutes, and documentation on the groups that CAC funded and rejected. The Daley archives show that Mr. Obama and Mr. Ayers worked as a team to advance the CAC agenda.”
“The CAC’s agenda flowed from Mr. Ayers’s educational philosophy, which called for infusing students and their parents with a radical political commitment, and which downplayed achievement tests in favor of activism. In the mid-1960s, Mr. Ayers taught at a radical alternative school, and served as a community organizer in Cleveland’s ghetto.
In works like “City Kids, City Teachers” and “Teaching the Personal and the Political,” Mr. Ayers wrote that teachers should be community organizers dedicated to provoking resistance to American racism and oppression. His preferred alternative? “I’m a radical, Leftist, small ‘c’ communist,” Mr. Ayers said in an interview in Ron Chepesiuk’s, “Sixties Radicals,” at about the same time Mr. Ayers was forming CAC.
CAC translated Mr. Ayers’s radicalism into practice. Instead of funding schools directly, it required schools to affiliate with “external partners,” which actually got the money. Proposals from groups focused on math/science achievement were turned down. Instead CAC disbursed money through various far-left community organizers, such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (or Acorn).
Mr. Obama once conducted “leadership training” seminars with Acorn, and Acorn members also served as volunteers in Mr. Obama’s early campaigns. External partners like the South Shore African Village Collaborative and the Dual Language Exchange focused more on political consciousness, Afrocentricity and bilingualism than traditional education. CAC’s in-house evaluators comprehensively studied the effects of its grants on the test scores of Chicago public-school students. They found no evidence of educational improvement.”
“Mr. Ayers is the founder of the “small schools” movement (heavily funded by CAC), in which individual schools built around specific political themes push students to “confront issues of inequity, war, and violence.” He believes teacher education programs should serve as “sites of resistance” to an oppressive system. (His teacher-training programs were also CAC funded.) The point, says Mr. Ayers in his “Teaching Toward Freedom,” is to “teach against oppression,” against America’s history of evil and racism, thereby forcing social transformation.”…Read more
Obama, Ayers and Mike Klonsky
Meet Michael Klonsky, Obama’s “social justice” education expert.
“With what little media oxygen there has been sucked out by the largely uninformative discussion of Ayers (and his wife and Weather Underground ally, Bernadine Dohrn) — in which the mantra “unrepentant terrorist” has been a pale substitute for the critical matter of the Ayers’s ideology that Obama plainly shares — much has been missed. Significantly, that includes another key Obama contact, Mike Klonsky.
Here’s what you need to know. Klonsky is an unabashed communist whose current mission is to spread Marxist ideology in the American classroom. Obama funded him to the tune of nearly $2 million. Obama, moreover, gave Klonsky a broad platform to broadcast his ideas: a “social justice” blog on the official Obama campaign website.
To be clear, as it seems always necessary to repeat when Obamaniacs, in their best Saul Alinsky tradition, shout down the opposition: This is not about guilt by association. The issue is not that Obama knows Klonsky … or Ayers … or Dohrn … or Wright … or Rashid Khalidi …
The issue is that Obama promoted and collaborated with these anti-American radicals. The issue is that he shared their ideology.
Klonsky’s communist pedigree could not be clearer. His father, Robert Klonsky, was an American communist who was convicted in the mid-Fifties for advocating the forcible overthrow of the United States government — a violation of the Smith Act, anti-communist legislation ultimately gutted by the Supreme Court. In the Sixties, Klonsky the younger teamed with Ayers, Dohrn, and other young radicals to form the Students for a Democratic Society. It was out of the SDS that Ayers and Dohrn helped found the Weatherman terrorist group.
Klonsky took a different path, albeit one that led inexorably to a new partnership with Ayers, which Obama mightily helped underwrite. Upon splitting off from the SDS, Klonsky formed a Maoist organization, first known as the “October League,” which ultimately became the “Communist Party (Marxist Leninist).”
Klonsky was CP(ML)’s chairman. He was so highly thought of by Mao’s regime that he was among the first Americans invited to visit Communist China. When he was feted there in 1977, a year after Mao’s death, the communist leadership hailed Klonsky’s party as “reflecting the aspirations of the proletariat and working people.””
“After getting his doctorate, Klonsky eventually made his way to Chicago and hooked up with his old SDS comrade (and self-professed “small ‘c’ communist”) Bill Ayers. Together, they co-founded the Small Schools Workshop in 1991. The goal — as Ayers has repeatedly made clear, most prominently in a 2006 speech before Hugo Chavez at an education forum in Caracas — is to bring the same Leftist revolution that has always galvanized them into the classroom.
The concept may be called small schools, but Klonsky and Ayers uniquely grasp the force-multiplier effect. In a small class, the teacher preaching the “social justice” gospel that American capitalism is a racist, materialist, imperialist cauldron of injustice can have greater impact on the students he seeks to mold into his conception of the “good citizen” — and on the teachers he is teaching to be preachers. Writing trenchantly about how this system of “critical pedagogy” short-changes the basic education needs of disadvantaged children, the City Journal’s Sol Stern observes that theorists like Klonsky and Ayers:
nurse a rancorous view of an America in which it is always two minutes to midnight and a knock on the door by the thought police is imminent. The education professors feel themselves anointed to use the nation’s K-12 classrooms to resist this oppressive system. Thus … teachers [are urged] not to mince words with children about the evils of the existing social order. They should portray “homelessness as a consequence of the private dealings of landlords, an arms buildup as a consequence of corporate decisions, racial exclusion as a consequence of a private property-holder’s choice.” In other words, they should turn the little ones into young socialists and critical theorists.”…Please read the entire article

“Critics Decry Obama’s ‘Indoctrination’ Plan for Students”
“A suggested lesson plan that calls on school kids to write letters to themselves about what they can do to help President Obama is troubling some education experts, who say it establishes the president as a “superintendent in chief” and may indoctrinate children to support him politically.”
“Obama’s critics say the lesson plans and the president’s calls for a “supportive community” are troubling on many levels.
“In general, I don’t think there’s a problem if the president uses the bully pulpit to tell kids to work hard, study hard and things like that. But there are some troubling hints in this, both educationally and politically,” said Neal McCluskey, associate director of Cato Institute’s Center for Educational Freedom.
Among the concerns, McCluskey said, is the notion that students who do not support Obama or his educational policies will begin the school year “behind the eight ball,” or somehow academically trailing their peers.
“It essentially tries to force kids to say the president and the presidency is inspiring, and that’s very problematic,” McCluskey said. “It’s very concerning that you would do that.””…Read more
Michelle Malkin on Obama’s speech to public school students
Once again, we are reminded by history, something our teachers should be aware of, of attempts to control the minds of our young people. Adolf Hitler created the Hitler youth, brainwashed them and encouraged them to turn in their parents for non doctrine behaviour. George Orwell watched Nazi Germany play out and incorporated the brainwashed Hitler youth into the children of “1984.” We cannot afford to let history repeat itself again. Speak up against this mind control attempt. The future of our children and this country is at stake.
