Students emerging from the elite Adolf Hitler Schools were in superb physical condition and thoroughly drilled in Nazi ideology, but lacked basic skills in math and science. Biology, for example, had been completely corrupted to advance Nazi racial doctrine.
Under Hitler, a school system once among the finest in the world, became substandard almost overnight. Nazi scientists, educated before Hitler, would later complain they were partially hindered in developing new super weapons by the recruitment of young graduates from the elite Nazi schools.
In 1936, all of the Catholic parochial and Protestant denominational schools were abolished. Christian holy days which had usually meant a day off from school were now ignored and classroom prayers were banned. Celebrations of Christmas and Easter were discouraged, replaced by pre-Christian Yule or Solstice celebrations. The Nazis later forced all teachers to renounce any affiliation with professional church organizations.”

Later in the convention, Republican National Committeeman Jeff Johnson spoke words of unity and praise, perhaps indicative of Paul’s ability to win the hearts and minds of the Republican Party. Recent analysis has even shown that Paul has seen his base double.

A couple of years ago I read a book written by Jan Markell, “Trapped in Hitler’s Hell”, a true story about the life of Anita Dittman, who was a young girl in Nazi Germany when Hitler rose to power. Her recollection of life in the public schools was eerily like the indoctrination which started with Obama in 2009. Anita Dittman is still alive and has many speaking engagements.
I would recommend reading this inspiring story. It can be obtained at Amazon, which has a number of reviews – all four and five stars. It is fast-moving and will hold your attention as well as remind us that it can happen here.

A Hawaii deputy attorney general gave the men information concerning the legal requirements to obtain such a document; the requirements are posted on the Health Department’s website. The two men then left the office, Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo said.
The two men showed Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office badges and identified themselves as Michael Zullo and Brian Mackiewcz, Okubo said. They are “authorized by the Sheriff of Maricopa County, who is conducting an official investigation,” a spokesman for the sheriff’s office said in an email.”

I have said this before on this website, but I will say it again. It is worth repeating.
As a young, unmarried sergeant in the 11th Airborne Division in 1957, I visited the Dachau death camp, which was Hitler’s first such camp. It was here many thousands of Jews were put to death because of the ideology of a madman.
When I visited this site in 1957, the ashes of the dead were still in the ovens and things were pretty much as they were before the war ended. Later in my military career, then as an officer, I returned to this site to see if thinghs had changed.
All of the buildings had been torn down. All that remains now are bronze plaques to remind people what happened there.
The impressions this place of death initially made on me have remained with me into my old age. I can see them in my mind today as clearly at the ripe old age of 77, as I could when I first viewed them at 24.
I shall never forget the charred human bones still in the ovens there. I only wish the whole world could have seen them too. Perhaps there would have been fewer wars to follow.
What I had then as first hand knowledge, most people today don’t even read about in history books. Therein lies the problem.
It all started in Germany with Hitler re-educating the people, especially the youth. It a government can change the minds of two generations, then they can rewrite history. Hitler proved that point beyond any doubt. But look at the terrible price his country paid for his ego.
In the end, Germany lay in ruins, it’s people were broken, and the hopes and dreams of the flower of the German youth was gone forever.
For me personally, the broken Germany I saw in 1957 was enough to convince me that tyrants must never be permitted to rule any country.
The ashes I saw in the ovens at Dachau were real, and the 6 millions Jews who died in that conflict were real.
Tyrants come in all shapes and colors. Most are smooth talkers. The United States of America is now very close to repeating what happened to Germany in the 30’s and 40’s. No one man should ever have total control and power over a government and it’s people.
Hitler’s Germany fired a warning shot over the bow for every nation in the world to see exactly what happens when a dictator is placed in command. Since that time, many countries have ignored that warning shot. Will America be next to ignore history?

This latest amnesty initiative was published quietly by the Obama team in the Federal Register as a “Proposed Rule.” Under the new rule, illegal aliens with legal relatives (spouse, parent or child) in this country can claim “extreme hardship” and thus file for the Amnesty Waiver without having to leave the country.
The end result is that illegal aliens who could otherwise be subject to a 3- or 10-year ban on re-entry into the U.S. can apply for their waiver while remaining in the United States and only have to leave the U.S. for as little as one week instead of months or years.

JS. Ron Paul virtually has no chance of achieving the Republican nomination (though if by the grace of God he does I will support him). That being the case, there is no upside for Romney to debate Paul and there is plenty of downside. This is how politics works, unfortunately. Now if Paul had more support and was even close to Romney that would be a different story. But that isn’t the case.

That is a very good question which I cannot answer with any certainty, yet common sense would say she did. I’m sure that mentality existed all over Europe after it lay in ruins.
I I do know with certainty that many of the German people still regarded Hitler highly long after the war was over.
One of my last assignments was as commander of a large unit in the midwest. One of my key non- commissioned officers had married a German wife and they had been living then in the USA for quite some time.
One day, at a function, she reviled her feeling for the “old Germany” she had known as a teen ager. She indicated that to her, Hitler did great things for the German people.
II could not let that go, so I ask her about the concentration camps where millions of Jews were murdered. She quickly indicated that never happened. She was in total denial, even though her husband had told me later that they had visited Dachau shortly after the war was over.
So even though the man was dead, to many of the German people Hitler’s memory still lived on .I was shocked by still her fondness of a man who had been responsible for the total destruction of her country, yet she still admired his actions.

I have Polish relatives too. Poland and Eastern Europe was an area of deep antisemistism; the place of many pogroms. A Hawaii deputy attorney general gave the men information concerning the legal requirements to obtain such a document; the requirements are posted on the Health Department’s website. The two men then left the office, Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo said.
The two men showed Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office badges and identified themselves as Michael Zullo and Brian Mackiewcz, Okubo said. They are “authorized by the Sheriff of Maricopa County, who is conducting an official investigation,” a spokesman for the sheriff’s office said in an email.”

I have spoken with Zullo. He is a sharp man. He isn’t there just to bump into walls, and walk about with no real plan. You always begin at the beginning and document each step. TPM: After days of ridicule for launching a conspiracy theory-fueled investigation into Barack Obama’s birth certificate, Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett on Tuesday backed off his threat to keep the president off the ballot in November and apologized to his state.
“If I embarrassed the state, I apologize, but that certainly wasn’t my intent,” Bennett said in an interview with Phoenix radio station KTAR. “He’ll be on the ballot as long as he fills out the same paperwork and does the same things that everybody else has.”
Bennett said he still intends to keep asking Hawaii for verification that Obama’s birth certificate is authentic. But he said he only plans to use Hawaii’s answer as a way to satisfy demands from constituents who remain unconvinced Obama is a natural born citizen of the United States and so therefore eligible to be president.
He also said he talked to Hawaii’s attorney general on Monday night and clarified what he is looking to have verified. He said he “reworded” his request and expects to receive a response from Hawaii officials “in the next 24 to 48 hours.”

“Hawaii Verifies Obama’s Birth For Arizona Secretary Of State”
“A Hawaii official announced late Tuesday that the state gave Arizona’s top elections official the verification he wanted showing President Barack Obama was indeed born there in 1961.
The announcement came just hours after Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett backed away from his threats to keep Obama off the November ballot and apologized for embarrassing his own state with a conspiracy theory-fueled investigation into whether the president was really a natural born U.S. citizen.
It also followed weeks of back and forth between Hawaii and Arizona, with Hawaii officials saying they weren’t sure Bennett was qualified to be investigating the matter.
Here’s the full statement Joshua Wisch, the special assistant to the Hawaii attorney general, released at 11:35 p.m. ET:

A nearly three-month-long tussle between two states over President Obama’s birth records may be at an end.
The state of Hawaii said late Tuesday it has provided verification of the president’s birth to Arizona’s secretary of state, who claimed he needed proof of Obama’s citizenship before he could place his name on the state’s November ballot.
Joshua Wisch, special assistant to Hawaii Attorney General David Louie, told The Associated Press that the matter is now resolved.

I propose that we all use my newly invented oxymoron “natural-born
dual-citizen” and while pretending to be +Obama LIBs, go to their blogs
and use the term LIBerally to get them behind the “concept”.
And LITERally go viral so that the LIBeral media picks it up and we all
get a good laugh.

In his autobiography, Dreams from My Father, Barack Obama describes himself as an unfocused high school student whose mother scolded him for being a “loafer” (142). He describes his attitude toward his studies at Occidental as “indifferent” (146), calling himself a “bum” who abused drugs (138) and who was notorious for partying all weekend (165).
That has raised questions about how Obama earned a place at Columbia in 1981, paving the way to Harvard Law and beyond. Indeed, like much else in his biography, Obama seems to have fictionalized the process through which he gained admission to Columbia. Obama writes in Dreams: “[W]hen I heard about a transfer program that Occidental had arranged with Columbia University, I’d been quick to apply”(172).
However, there is no record of such a “transfer program” existing at either Columbia or Occidental.

All of these stories about Bennett backing down, and allowing Obama to be on the ballot, read as if they were written by the enemy. The tone is Orwellian, to me, as if we are being lectured.
