That is a huge lie!
Approx. 60,000 deaths were from covid.
The rest of the deaths were with covid with an average of 4 comorbidities.
This comes straight from the CDC.

There were 473,769 instances of Flu and pneumonia.
That is approx. half of the total of 969,254 deaths listed.

……….we are seeing strawberries which are priced as though they might be made of gold. If we can get mother nature to cooperate we will see some locally produced, and Michigan produce very soon. I like the Michigan produce because it is grown mostly in sand……..as is most of Michigan’s farm products. Much of the farm ground around Fort Wayne is good old clay. Needs a lot of humus, and sand to break it down to a soil which is suitable for farming. About 5 miles East of our city there is an abrupt change to the soil to a brown sandy loam. It grows some fantastic crops. I imagine the soil around your town is probably volcanic. This is probably why California grows a huge percentage of America’s produce. In addition California has a longer growing season.

……..with respect to gasoline prices the cost seems to be dropping a little locally. We are seeing around $ 3.94 per gallon. Neither my wife nor I do much driving anymore, so the cost of fuel becomes almost a moot subject. We do however keep our tank topped off……largely to avoid sweat inside of the tank during hot humid weather.

……..I will be 90 the 2nd of June. For some reason the Heavenly Creator has seen fit to allow me some borrowed time. Neither my grandfather, nor my father lived to 75. I have a suspicion that all of the SOS I consumed while in the Navy might be at least partially responsible for my longevity thus far. The cooks used to tell us that the NAVY’S SOS recipe promotes long life. Of course, any sane person knew better. I do however still manage to ingest a SHINGLE with Stouffer brand Creamed Chipped Beef over it every now and then. Hard to break old habits!!!!!!
