As I have stated before, there are 2 extremes of reactions to the Ebola Virus.

Panic and over confidence.

The responses so far have been closer to the latter.

“An Ebola survivor has been quarantined in India after his semen tested positive for the virus, health officials there have announced.

The 26-year-old man, an Indian national, traveled to New Delhi from Liberia on November 10, almost two months after he was hospitalized in the West African nation after showing symptoms of the illness, India’s health ministry said in a statement.

He was released from the Liberian hospital on September 30 with documents declaring him free of clinical signs linked to Ebola, the ministry added.

As a precautionary measure, Indian authorities carried out tests on his body fluids, which confirmed traces of the virus in his semen, the statement said.

“The swiftly moving Ebola epidemic presents an immense challenge to unprepared national and global health systems, infectious disease expert Michael Osterholm said at an Ebola symposium Tuesday at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, is one of the leading public spokesmen on the Ebola epidemic, which has killed more than 4,300 in West Africa. Although he has reviewed hundreds of published papers on Ebola and briefs top government officials on the epidemic’s spread, Osterholm readily admits that he knows less today about the Ebola virus than he did nine months ago.

“Let’s acknowledge we’re making this up as we go and we have to become more comfortable with uncertainty,” said Osterholm, the keynote speaker at the event, titled “Dean’s Symposium on Ebola: Crisis, Context and Response.””

“At this stage in the epidemic, Osterholm said, the Ebola virus has the upper hand, and the global health community is playing catch-up.

“The virus is operating on virus time and the rest of us are operating on bureaucracy and program time, and the virus is winning hands down,” Osterholm told an audience of 350 in Sommer Hall and more than 2,500 following the live webcast.”

“As the Ebola crisis continues to unfold, Osterholm said he sees “lots of unexpecteds ahead of us.” He said he is convinced that a vaccine is the only hope of containing the outbreak but characterized the U.S. investment in vaccine research as “a drop in the bucket.”

“There’s a big disconnect between the work to get us there and getting it into somebody in Africa,” said Osterholm, at one point calling the Ebola outbreak “[The World Health Organization’s] 9/11.””

The CDC supposedly agrees with this, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find any information about this in the media prior to this recent revelation. Since we first began reporting on this outbreak, there has hardly been any mention in the mainstream media about the Ebola virus possibly persisting in bodily fluid for several months after a person is cleared as being a “survivor.” Natural News first reported on this possibility in early August.

This ironic failure seems to match the entire Ebola narrative, which has changed dramatically on numerous occasions since it first started gaining speed. In the beginning, we were all told that the only way to contract Ebola was to literally share blood with someone else. Now, we know that the virus can spread through surfaces and even through micro-droplets in the air.”

“A Brooklyn man, who recently returned from West Africa, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with Ebola-like symptoms Thursday, police sources said.

The man, whose name is being withheld by The Post, returned from Mali on Nov. 14, and came down with flu-like symptoms which are similar symptoms to those exhibited by patients suffering from Ebola, the sources said.

The patient had been suffering from nausea, chills, and body aches but when his condition continued to worsen, he called 911.”

We have a woman in NY City who traveled there from Guinea and collapsed in a beauty salon with as a witness stated, blood coming from  “Face, nose, mouth, everything.” She has supposedly been tested and found free of Ebola.

A man in India, who was diagnosed as cured of Ebola, was found to have Ebola in his semen.

A Cuban madical team doctor has been diagnosed with Ebola.

“A woman who dropped dead at a New York salon with blood pouring from her nose and mouth did not have Ebola, tests confirmed today.

The Fire Department sent in Hazmat teams after the woman, who traveled to Guinea three weeks ago, died at Amy Professional African Hair Braiding in the Brownsville area of Brooklyn on Tuesday.

Tests on her body came back negative for the virus, the New York City Department of Health told MailOnline on Wednesday. Her identity has not been released.

An eyewitness who saw the woman, who was reportedly 40 years old, said there was blood coming from her ‘face, nose and mouth’.”

“Costa, a man who works in the building next door, said: ‘We were in the building and all the sudden the other owner came from the store and he said somebody dropped dead in their store.’

He then said he ran in there to find a woman laying on the floor.

When asked what she was bleeding from, Costa said: ‘Face, nose, mouth, everything.’

FDNY crews changed into Hazmat gear outside the salon before heading in, for what they referred to as a ‘fever travel illness’.

The FDNY said it was a ‘clean scene’ with no bodily fluids leaving the woman’s body.

An FDNY memo in October reportedly instructed all personnel to use more vague terms when discussing Ebola, such as ‘fever travel incident’.”

“A member of the 165-member medical team Cuba sent to fight Ebola in Sierra Leone has been diagnosed with the disease, according to state media.

Dr. Felix Baez Sarria is being treated by British doctors in Africa but he will be transferred to a special unit in Geneva at the recommendation of the World Health Organization, Cuban state media said, citing the island’s Ministry of Public Health.

Cuba won global praise for sending at least 256 medical workers to Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea to help treat Ebola patients. State officials have emphasized the medics’ high state of readiness for the mission, saying the doctors, nurses and support staff received weeks of instruction in protective measures and equipment.

Once in Africa, the Cubans got two to three weeks of additional training before heading into the field. They were to be quarantined in Africa for weeks at the end of their six-month mission before returning to Cuba.

State media said that Baez, an internal medicine specialist, came down with a fever of more than 100 degrees on Sunday and was diagnosed with Ebola the following day.”

The financial markets have been propped up by the fed.

There was an increase of 8 percent from 2012 to 2014.

Obama’s self serving policies are a big reason for this.

Record numbers of people have dropped out of the labor force.

Record numbers of people have had their hours reduced or could only find part time jobs as a direct result of Obamacare.

Record numbers of people depend on public assistance.

Catching up on my reading this morning.

The Greensboro News Record, part of the liberal mainstream media, has rubber stamped the policies of and endorsed Obama and Kay Hagan.

“I love that the liberal mainstream media in Greensboro, i.e., the News & Record, has declared North Carolina a purple state.

Let’s count the reasons why North Carolina is not considered a red state.

One, it is because North Carolina just elected a Democratic senator to go along with Republican Sen. Richard Burr. Oh no, that can’t be right, because beginning in January, North Carolina will have two Republican senators. Republican Speaker of the state House Thom Tillis defeated Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan. But perhaps the N&R hasn’t heard about the results of the election yet.

Maybe it’s a purple state because the Democrats picked up enough seats that the congressional delegation is evenly split. No, that can’t be it because the Democrats lost a seat in the North Carolina congressional delegation and it now stands at 10 Republicans and three Democrats. So that’s an increase from nine Republicans and four Democrats, which would seem to make the state more red.

I know, it’s because in this election the Democrats took over the state Senate and state House so that, even though there is a Republican governor, the state government will be split. That isn’t it either, because the Republicans picked up one seat in the Senate, so it is now 34 Republicans to 16 Democrats.

For those in the mainstream media, that means there are more than twice as many Republicans in the state Senate as there are Democrats. More than two to one. More than double. In other words for those bad with numbers, a lot more.

Then there is the state House. Maybe the Democrats sneaked up and took over the state House while everybody was watching the Senate race. No, that’s not the case either. But maybe this is what everyone is talking about because the Democrats did pick up three seats in the state House, and instead of Republicans having a 77-to-43 majority, the Republicans now have a 74-to-46 majority.

It’s the only place where the Democrats made any gains in state government. The North Carolina governor is a Republican, the North Carolina state House has a comfortable majority of Republicans, the state Senate has a huge majority of Republicans, the state Supreme Court has a majority of Republicans, the state now has two Republican US senators, and 10 Republicans out of 13 US congressmen.

In 2012, North Carolina voted for the Republican candidate for president and elected a Republican governor, majorities in both houses of the state legislature and a Republican majority on the state Supreme Court. So all of this is not brand new.

It would seem that as long as there is a Democratic elected official in North Carolina it will be listed as a purple state because it is hard to imagine how much more Republican North Carolina could get.

It’s funny what the mainstream media do instead of reporting the news. They just makes stuff up. There is a good reason to consider North Carolina purple if you happen to be far left-wing liberals like most of the folks at the N&R, and that is because if Democrats think that North Carolina is a red state, meaning that Republicans are going to win, then fewer Democrats will vote. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy. But what is really unfortunate for the liberals, like those at the N&R, is that North Carolina is a red state and it is really hard for them to accept.

In 2008, Barack Hussein Obama won North Carolina by 14,000 votes, which is nearly nothing. If there had been a recount Obama might easily have lost the state. But there was no need for a recount because it didn’t make any difference – Obama was elected president by a wide enough margin that North Carolina wasn’t an issue. But he won by slimmest of margins and Obama had coattails. It’s not unusual, but it was a one-time event. The country will never elect its first black president again. That has been done. But because six years ago some Democrats won doesn’t make North Carolina in 2014 a purple state.”

This is what I have been concerned about.

All it takes is one person with Ebola whose symptoms are not recognized in time and travel to a populated area.

That one incident could set off a chain reaction that could potentially be unstoppable.

There are 2 extremes of reactions to this.

Panic and denial.

Much of what I observe is closer to denial.

“Mali is trying to trace as many as 343 people linked to confirmed and probable Ebola victims in an effort to control its second Ebola outbreak, health officials said on Friday.

An initial batch of contacts linked to a 2-year-old from Guinea who died of Ebola last month were close to the end of their 21-day quarantine period when Mali confirmed a second, separate batch of cases this week.

There have been at least four more confirmed Ebola cases in this second episode, all linked to an imam who entered Mali from neighboring Guinea and died late last month with Ebola-like symptoms that were not recognized. Three of these have died so far.

Samba Sow, the head of Mali’s Ebola response, said on state television two more suspected cases were being tested.

Malian Health Ministry spokesman Marakatie Daou said a woman who had helped wash the imam’s body died on Thursday at the Gabriel Toure Hospital in Mali’s capital, Bamako.

Daou said an initial Ebola test result for the woman was positive, making her the fourth clinically confirmed Malian case, although further analysis would be carried out abroad.

Mali’s government said on Friday afternoon 256 contacts had been identified and would be monitored.

A spokeswoman for the World Health Organization said the number of contacts that needed monitoring had risen to 343 by Friday evening, underscoring the scale of the task health workers have in containing the second wave of cases.

Reuters journalists outside the Nenecarre mosque in Bamako’s Djikoroni Para neighborhood, where the imam’s body was washed, said four health workers in protective gear entered the mosque to disinfect it but no effort was made to stop people from entering for Friday prayers.”

Stranger than fiction.

Unbelievable as a novel without an understanding of Chicago pay to play politics and the efforts made to protect Obama.

With our involvement in Syria the past several years, I couldn’t help but wonder if that is why Tony Rezko helped Obama get elected and then kept his mouth shut. Never called as a witness.

The two people who could nail Obama on the witness stand, Tony Rezko and Rod Blagojevich are still in prison.

Tony Rezko refused to rat on his friend Obama.

Blagojevich, who came under federal investigation by at least late 2003, is still awaiting a decision on his appeal.

It has been one year since the prosecution responded to the appeal filed on JUly 15, 2013.

“Blagojevich appeals convictions, stiff sentence”

“Lawyers for Rod Blagojevich filed an appeal Monday challenging the imprisoned former Illinois governor’s corruption conviction and stiff, 14-year prison term.

The lengthy filing with the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago comes more than two years after the Chicago Democrat’s retrial and 16 months after he entered a federal prison in Colorado.

Jurors convicted Blagojevich, 56, of engaging in wide-ranging corruption, including that the two-term governor sought to profit from his power to appoint someone to the U.S. Senate seat that Barack Obama vacated to become president.

The appeal cites a juror who allegedly expressed a bias against Blagojevich who was seated despite the objections of defense attorneys. It also raises longstanding claims that Judge James Zagel barred FBI wiretap evidence that might have aided the defense and argues the judge miscalculated the appropriate prison term.

The appeal was filed about 30 minutes before a midnight deadline to do so.

In June, Blagojevich’s attorneys requested permission to file a longer-than-usual appeal, noting the trial produced 12,000 pages of transcripts. “The issues for appeal are numerous and complicated,” they wrote. The court agreed to let them file the equivalent of about 100 pages, which is what they did.

Blagojevich was convicted on 18 counts over two trials, jurors in the first deadlocking on all but one count. Taking the stand in the second, decisive trial in 2011, Blagojevich insisted his talking about wanting to sell Obama’s seat was just that — talk.

At his sentencing hearing later in 2011, an uncharacteristically deferential Blagojevich asked Zagel for mercy and said he accepted responsibility. He told the court in a hushed voice, “I caused it all.”

Despite those words, Zagel imposed a lengthy prison term, telling Blagojevich he had abused voters’ trust and undermined the democratic process “to do things that were only good for yourself.”

Many observers at the time said Blagojevich’s best hope on appeal wasn’t that a higher court would overturn his convictions but that appellate judges would agree his sentence was too harsh.”

“The administration of Rod Blagojevich came under FBI scrutiny beginning in late 2003.

Yet, with all the harm Blagojevich et al were doing to the citizens of Illinois, he was not arrested until just after the 2008 election.

His arrest and the timing of his prosecution were clearly coordinated to have the least impact on Barack Obama.

That protection of Obama continues.

The 2010 election cycle has passed.

The 2012 election cycle has passed.

The 2014 election cycle is about to pass.

We have 6 sessions of the US Court of Appeals Seventh Circuit left before the November 4, 2014 elections.

If the decision comes before the election, I predict that Blagojevich will get a reduced sentence.

If not, it is entirely possible that Obama will pardon Blagojevich.

I believe that they have a deal.

Obama lies about jobs and the economy fooled only his hard core supporters.

Many of his young supporters are disenchanted.

Lincoln was right. You can’t fool all the people all the time.

The jobs situation, despite the best efforts of Obama and the mainstream media to obfuscate, is horrible.

Record numbers of people have dropped out of the labor force. Record numbers of part time jobs have been created or evolved from former full time jobs.

This is the only reason the stated unemployment rate has dropped.

We have record numbers of people on public assistance and food stamps.

Young people, instead of saving are taking from assets, living with their parents, unable to afford houses.

The financial markets are being propped up by the FED and accounting smoke and mirrors.

Loretta Lynch, Obama’s Attorney General appointee and I have at least one thing in common.

We were living in Greensboro, NC at the same time.

Was she grounded by her roots or does she carry a grudge?

The fact that Obama chose her probably answers that question.

Here is some more insight from a speech she gave on August 13, 2014.

“Mr. Chairperson, distinguished members of the committee, and representatives of civil society, it is an honor to be a part of the U.S. delegation and share some of the highlights of the Department of Justice’s efforts to eliminate racial discrimination and uphold human rights in the area of criminal justice.

Attorney General Eric Holder – and all of us at the Department of Justice who work on criminal justice issues – take seriously our obligation to protect the safety of all Americans and the security of our nation; to safeguard civil and human rights; to prevent and combat violent crime, financial fraud, and threats to the most vulnerable members of society; and to strengthen collaboration among government, law enforcement and our community partners.

As part of this mission, the department has made great progress in reforming America’s criminal justice system. Our focus is not just on the prosecution of crime, but on eradicating its root causes as well as providing support for those re-entering society after having paid their debt to it.

There is, of course, much work still to be done. Currently our country imprisons approximately 2.2 million people, disproportionately people of color. We’re advancing alternative programs in place of incarceration in appropriate cases. And we’re committed to providing formerly incarcerated people with fair opportunities to rejoin their communities and become productive, law-abiding citizens.

As part of this effort, the Attorney General has directed every component of the Justice Department to review proposed rules, regulations or guidance with an eye to whether they may impose collateral consequences that may prevent reintegration into society. He has called upon state leaders to do the same, with a particular focus on enacting reforms to restore voting rights to those who have served their debt to society, thus ending the chain of permanent disenfranchisement that visits many of them.

To further ensure that the elimination of discrimination is an ongoing priority, the Attorney General has created a Racial Disparities Working Group, led by the U.S. Attorney community, to identify policies that result in unwarranted disparities within criminal justice and to eliminate those disparities as quickly as possible

Perhaps if the policies of the left, Obama, et al, were more grounded, the unemployment rate of blacks and job prospects would be better and fewer would be incarcerated.

All indications are that Lynch is just another Obama crony like Holder. Preoccupied with skin color

If I were on the senate committee scrutinizing Loretta Lynch, here are just a few of the questions or scenarios I would confront her with.

1. Why is the DOJ so preoccupied with protecting foreigners and illegal aliens over US citizens?

“REPORT: DOJ NEEDED HOLDER’S SIGNATURE TO GET AP PHONE RECORDS”

“The Associated Press reported Monday that the Department of Justice had secretly seized two months worth of telephone records from reporters and editors working for the global news organization.

Needless to say, news that the DOJ had secretly obtained AP phone records has rocked the media. As it turns out, people really, really don’t like being spied on or having the feds snoop around their personal information.

This is going to take some explaining.

And it looks like it’ll take a lot more than a “low-level employee” to get U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder out of this tight spot.”

4. How about Obama using Justice Dept. attorneys at taxpayer expense to help keep his records hidden. One of those attorneys, Tony West, was rewarded with a high level DOJ job.

You were warned.

Beginning in 2008, and especially with the revelations from the Tony Rezko trial, you were warned that Obama would bring his Chicago Pay to Play Politics to Washington, DC.

It has happened. In one of the worst possible places.

The US Justice Department.

One of the latest and best examples is the promotion of Tony West in the USDOJ.

First, a little background on Tony West.

5. The case against the New Black Panther Party was dismissed and whistleblower J. Christian Adams was persecuted for speaking out.

“On the day President Obama was elected, armed men wearing the black berets and jackboots of the New Black Panther Party were stationed at the entrance to a polling place in Philadelphia. They brandished a weapon and intimidated voters and poll watchers. After the election, the Justice Department brought a voter -intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party and those armed thugs. I and other Justice attorneys diligently pursued the case and obtained an entry of default after the defendants ignored the charges. Before a final judgment could be entered in May 2009, our superiors ordered us to dismiss the case.

The New Black Panther case was the simplest and most obvious violation of federal law I saw in my Justice Department career. Because of the corrupt nature of the dismissal, statements falsely characterizing the case and, most of all, indefensible orders for the career attorneys not to comply with lawful subpoenas investigating the dismissal, this month I resigned my position as a Department of Justice (DOJ) attorney.”

6. Obama and Eric Holder guilt in Fast and Furious scandal and subsequent lack of cooperation in investigations.

“The Justice Department is trying to protect its political appointees from the Fast and Furious scandal by concealing an internal “smoking gun” report and other documents that acknowledge the role top officials played in the program that allowed firearms to flow illegally into Mexico, according to the head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Kenneth E. Melson, the ATF’s acting director, also told congressional investigators this month that the affidavits prepared to obtain wiretaps used in the ill-fated operation were inconsistent with Justice Department officials’ public statements about the program. Justice Department officials advised him not to raise his concerns with Congress about “institutional problems” with the Fast and Furious operation, Melson said.
“It was very frustrating to all of us,” Melson told congressional investigators in a private meeting over the Fourth of July holiday, “and it appears thoroughly to us that the department is really trying to figure out a way to push the information away from their political appointees at the department.”

Not only was the department slow to react, Melson said, but Justice Department officials indicated they did not want him to cooperate with Congress.”

The bottom line questions are would she prosecute Eric Holder and Barack Obama.

Doubtful.
