“Lives, Fortunes, Honor”
“Of those 56 who signed the Declaration of Independence, nine died of wounds or hardships during the war. Five were captured and imprisoned, in each case with brutal treatment. Several lost wives, sons or entire families. One lost his 13 children. Two wives were brutally treated. All were at one time or another the victims of manhunts and driven from their homes.

Twelve signers had their homes completely burned.

Seventeen lost everything they owned. Yet not one defected or went back on his pledged word. Their honor, and the nation they sacrificed so much to create is still intact.

And, finally, there is the New Jersey Signer, Abraham Clark.

He gave two sons to the officer corps in the Revolutionary Army. They were captured and sent to that infamous British prison hulk afloat in New York Harbor known as the hell ship “Jersey,” where 11,000 American captives were to die. The younger Clarks were treated with a special brutality because of their father.

One was put in solitary and given no food. With the end almost in sight with the war almost won, no one could have blamed Abraham Clark for acceding to the British request when they offered him his sons’ lives if he would recant and come out for the King and Parliament. The utter despair in this man’s heart, the anguish in his very soul, must reach out to each and one of us down through 200 years with the answer: “No.”

The 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence proved by their every deed that they made no idle boast when they composed the most magnificent curtain line in history. “And for the support of this Declaration with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.””

There are at least 3 reasons why Rush Limbaugh will ask the question of the century:
1. It is a self evident truth. Rush will risk ridicule for a just cause.

2. Rush Limbaugh is the man of the hour. This question will define this century.

3. Rush Limbaugh’s father would have asked this question.

 

The question of Barack Obama’s eleigibilty has been debated, distorted by the Obama camp and generally ignored by the Mainstream Media. Public opinion has been shaped by a paid cadre of the Obama camp and ideologues of the far left supporters and far left MSM. These Orwellian efforts rival those of Nazi Germany and “1984”.

The question below, that I have listed as # 1 on the Internet Billboard, is the defining question about the eligibility of Barack Obama to be president as well as a watershed moment for the US Constitution. It is, I believe, the question of the century.

The question is why?
“1. Barack Obama has employed a legion of private and government attorneys to prevent revealing his country of birth. Innocent and eligible persons seeking the office of president do not do that.”

Rush, Lou Dobbs, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and others that share a love for and concern about this country. I know this is a highly controversial subject. The Obama camp is well oiled to control public perceptions and to attack those who question Obama on any front. However, I often remind myself of the hardships our ancestors endured to allow us to have the luxury of fighting this battle. As I sit here writing this with a sore throat, I think of the brave patriots enduring the intense cold of Valley Forge, out in the elements with rags on their feet. My minor discomfort in this safe and warm environment pales in comparison.

They pledged their lives , their fortunes and their sacred honor.

I will not give up until our honor is redeemed.

The Obama camp wants us to be afraid, to be divided and confused by controversial issues. The question above is not confusing. It is so simple that a fifth grader can understand it and quickly come to the obvious conclusion.

Barack Obama is hiding something big from the American people.

“This e-mail was sent to me today by my Step-sister xxxxxx xxxxxxx. She took her Dad  (my Step-Dad) to meet Sarah Palin yesterday when she was in Birmingham doing a book signing promoting her newly released book. The date was November 22, 2009. I was amazed to hear the story and called her to verify that it happened to her and not just a “forward” that I so often receive.
   I took my Dad to meet Sarah Palin tonight. He wore his Marine’s hat and his Purple Heart pin. Before we entered the signing place, we were stopped by Sarah’s aunt. She grabbed my dad’s hand  and told him thanks for his service to our country. He was so proud. Next, we waited our turn to meet Sarah. She shook my hand and we exchanged greetings. When I introduced her to my dad, she held (not shook) his hand and thanked him for her freedom – yes, her freedom. She thanked him for his service to our  country. My dad began to cry. She
 asked where he served, and she told him that her book was in honor of him and his dedication to America . My Dad thanked Sarah for her service and told her how proud he was of her. She then thanked me for bringing my Dad and said God Bless you.

As we were leaving we were stopped by a man who asked to meet my  Dad and it turned out  to be Sarah’s Dad. He hugged me and thanked me for bringing my Dad & then hugged him and told him it meant so much to him that we took the time to stand in line to meet his daughter. Trying to find his voice, with a face full of falling tears, my Dad said, no… Thank you…thank you for your daughter.
 As we left, tears filled  Sarah’s father’s eyes and everyone, incuding security and all told him goodbye. As we were leaving, we learned that Sarah stopped by Fort Hood unexpectedly and donated the money from her book signing today to the victim’s families. She is a Great lady!

Thanksgiving 2009, Thankful for, America, Mom, Dad, Family,Teachers, Friends, Patriotic Americans, Mostly thankful for my mom

We had Thanksgiving with my mom and a few family members today. It was good to see her and visit with some of my family. My dad passed away several years ago and I miss him everyday.

I want to sincerely state that I am thankful for many things. Being born in this country and all of those that helped start and save this country over it’s history. I am thankful for my mom and dad, my family, my teachers my friends who helped me through the difficult times. I am thankful for many things including the good Americans that visit and comment here and all the other patriotic Americans who are trying to save this country. However, of all the people in my life, I most of all want to thank my mom.
My mom is almost 85, still fairly spry and has a everpresent great attitude. She cooked a large Thanksgiving meal for us and she was at her happiest doing so, doing for others, especially her family.

My mom became the oldest child after her older brother was killed by a car. She grew up in the country, just outside a small town in NC. She lived through the Great Depression and they were fortunate to grow most of their food. Even so, she has told me many stories of picking up coal along the side of railroad tracks, of traveling hobos begging for food.

My mother made excellent grades in school but had to drop out before finishing to help her family. She was a stay at home mom for us four children part of the time, but when she did work, she worked at jobs that people who didn’t finish high school got. My mother has always worked hard, whether tending to our needs or working outside the home. She never complained.

My mother continues to give to her family, her community and church and to those sick at home. She always has a smile to give and is always thinking of others. I believe that is much of the secret to her happiness. She is always thinking of others.

My mother worked hard and sacrificed so that I could attend school and college. So that I could get the better jobs.

I was truly blessed by God to have such a mother. I am very thankful.

Sarah Palin, on a book tour to promote her new book, “Going Rogue”, continues to be scrutinized and attacked by the left. Many believe Sarah Palin is preparing for a presidential bid in 2012. Governor Palin states that she cares about this country and will go wherever she is led by God. To many, Sarah Palin represents honest, harding working, patriotic Americans and American Values.

The Examiner, in an article dated November 22, 2009, reveals the level of scrutiny Sarah Palin is receiving as compared to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

“While the Sarah Palin whirlwind book tour continues and her poll numbers are rising, according to Fox News Channel’s Steve Doocy on Friday morning, newspapers, magazines and broadcast journalists are dissecting her bestselling book Going Rogue.

For example, the Associated Press allegedly assigned 11 reporters to fact checking Palin’s book. Unfortunately, the number of reporters fact checking President Barack Obama’s memoir is unknown. 
In the words of a veteran New York City police detective, “These reporters are trying to put stink on her book tour, her political aspirations and her conservatism.”
 
This is not surprising to many observers who’ve noted that, since her nomination in 2008 as the GOP’s vice presidential candidate, the campaign to devalue and marginalize her has become a passion of many journalists and the left.
 
The denizens of this nation’s newsrooms pride themselves on being our watchdogs within the political realm, however it appeared that in the last presidential election cycle, they were MIA (missing in action).
  
First and foremost, we have the political mystery man, Barack Hussein Obama. The news media — men and women — behaved like star-struck teenyboppers at the mere mention of his name. To say Obama got a pass on anything that could be construed as negative is the epitome of understatement.
 
According to one of Florida’s top talk hosts, Matt Bruce  (News/Talk WSRQ) there is a laundry list of facts that were either unreported, underreported or dismissed as being irrelevant:
 
When Obama wrote a book and said he was mentored as a youth by Frank, (Frank Marshall Davis) an avowed Communist. The media said it didn’t matter and failed to report it. 
 
When it was discovered that his grandparents, were strong socialists, sent Obama’s mother to a socialist school, introduced Frank Marshall Davis to young Obama, the media said it didn’t matter and didn’t report it.
 
When people found out that he was enrolled as a Muslim child in school and his father and step father were both Muslims, the media said it didn’t matter and it was anti-Islamic to mention it.
 
When he wrote in another book he authored “I will stand with them (Muslims) should the political winds shift in an ugly direction”. The media said it didn’t matter and totally ignored it.
 
When he admitted in his own book that he chose Marxist friends and professors in college, the media said it didn’t matter and went as far as labeling him a political moderate. 
 
When he traveled to Pakistan after college on an unknown national passport, the media said it didn’t matter.
 
When he sought the endorsement of the Marxist party in 1996 as he ran for the Illinois Senate, the media said it doesn’t matter.”

 If you are offended by references to the Bible, good versus evil or anything that is not politically correct, you are in the wrong place.

Everyone is tap dancing around the attacks on Sarah Palin. People with the best of intentions speak of her as a conservative female threatening the philosophies and positions of those on the left. Let’s call this what it is. This is a classic struggle between good and evil, right versus wrong.

The modern day Democrat Party is controlled by far left socialists who are driven by a message of hate. Hate George Bush, Hate America and recently Hate Sarah Palin. The Beatles, in their song “Revolution”, had this to say:

“But when you want money
for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait”

“You say you’ll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it’s the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain’t going to make it with anyone anyhow”

It seems the leftist Democrats have covered all the bases. Hate, change the Constitution and carrying pictures of  Chairman Mao (Anita Dunn).

Sarah Palin is not a perfect person, her humanity prevents that. She is, however a good person who loves her family, her country and follows her moral compass, her concept of God, the creator of all. She is against many of the ideological positions that have slowly taken hold of this country.

Sarah Palin represents what is right about this country. She tries to live her life by doing the right thing. She apparently intimidates those who believe:

  • Women should follow the dictates of the Democrat Party.
  • Abortion is always ok and should not be reserved for the lesser of evils.
  • There is no God.
  • There is no right or wrong.
  • The founding fathers and US Constitution are out of vogue and not relevant to modern issues.
  • European countries should be emulated.
  • A Government option will improve health care.
  • Global warming is real and is mainly the fault of Americans.
  • An endangered fish is more important than endangered humans.
  • Drilling for oil is always wrong.
  • Terrorists are regular criminals with constitutional rights.
  • Patriotism, Religion and Guns are not fashionable.

I am next going to refer to Jesus of Nazareth. The life and tenets of Jesus are known by Christians, Jews and Muslims, so most of you should understand what I am about to write. While Sarah Palin cannot be compared to Jesus on one level, reactions to the good in Sarah Palin and other children of the light are paralleled in the reactions to Jesus, his teachings and actions.  The hypocrites and evil doers of Jesus’ time attacked him and demanded  his crucifixion.

The modern day hypocrites have put Sarah Palin under a microscope. They employ legions to fact check her statements and her new book and gave Barack Obama a free ride on his books and election campaign. As Jesus would state, they look for a speck in Palin’s eye and ignore the beam in theirs.
I wish to make an important point. It is ok to disgree with Sarah Palin. Since Palin embraces American values, she would be the first to agree. It is not ok to trash, lie about and attack Sarah Palin. This is wrong (remember, most of us believe in right and wrong.) When you attack Sarah Palin, you attack America and decent Americans and we are not going to take it anymore.

This is fair warning to those, and I do not care who you are, who viciously attack Sarah Palin. If you are a company like NewsWeek, that belittled Palin with the sexist magazine cover, we are going to boycott you. If you are a politician, we are going to run you out of office. If I personally hear someone attack Palin, I am going to quietly get in their face and ask why they hate America. I suggest you do the same.

Generally, I do believe we should pray for those who have lost their way. However, there is a concept called righteous indignation. A response, sadly lacking in many of those who profess to be Christians. And how ironic. Jesus, who was all about love for thy neighbor, entered the temple, saw the moneychanger’s wrongful acts, and overturned the tables in righteous indignation.

The lesson is simple. We must rise up in righteous indignation and say no more to attacks on Sarah Palin and others.

And be certain you are clear about this.

This is a struggle between good and evil.

Pastor James Manning has stated that he was visited by the CIA, Homeland Security and NY city detectives  because he has spoken out against Barack Obama and called Obama an illegal alien.

Obama may indeed be an illegal alien. In the absence of proof from Obama, he is not a natural born citizen and is ineligible to be president and therefore a usurper.

I can find no reason why Obama should not be immediately arrested for treason.

Barack Obama’s father was a citizen of Kenya and a British subject.

According to the US Constitution, the supreme law of the
land, Barack Obama will not be President of the United
States at 12:00 noon on January 20, 2009. No Chief
Justice administering the oath of office, no oath sworn
by a “president elect” makes one president. There are 3
mandatory requirements to achieve a legal inauguration.

  • A qualified president elect.
  • Sufficient votes by the Electoral College.
  • Certification and count of Electoral College votes by
    Congress.

At noon on January 20, 2009, Joe Biden will be president
until a president shall be deemed qualified. This comes
direct from the 20th Amendment to the US Constitution.

then the Vice President elect shall act as President until
a President shall have qualified;”

Further reading of the 20th Amendment reveals that Congress
may also determine if the vice-president is qualified. This
is part of the scenario of a constitutional crisis that
Philip J Berg and others have warned of. The language of
the 25th amendment includes options that may further heighten
the crisis level.

Part I – October 15 post request for comments on changing Congress in 2010

“This is the Citizen Wells open thread for Thursday, October 15, 2009. However, I have a request. Before the general election in 2008, we created the US Constitution Hall of shame. We contacted state election officials and congressmen regarding Obama’s lack of eligibility to be president and asked these public officials to honor and follow the dictates of the US Constitution.

As I have stated repeatedly, the biggest single problem in this country is Congress. They allowed Obama to be elected.

They contributed to the mortgage and financial meltdowns and subsequently, in tandem with the illegal, corrupt and socialist Obama administration, exacerbated our financial problems with rampant government spending. Now they are trying to ram down our throats a unpopular health care plan that will greatly worsen our health care and financial situation.

Now, with the upcoming 2010 elections approaching,  is the time for united, single minded efforts, as Americans first, to change this un American, non constitutional, out of control Congress. We must put aside our differences of politics, religion and most certainly our egos.

Our efforts as well as other concerned Americans to contact congressmen and record their lack of respect for the US Constitution will be used as a springboard to move forward into and beyond the 2010 elections. We will use voting records on ACORN funding and the health care bill as score cards. Let them pass a health care bill.

 Congress has acted in utter defiance of the US Constitution and the will of the American public. Their day of reckoning is near. Let them ramrod a health care bill down our throats. We will replace these politicians with statesmen who will do the job they are elected to do. 

What I am asking you to do is this. Let’s begin the process of coming together to organize. This will not be easy and we will be fought to the end, tooth and nail.

First of all, provide your thoughts in comments here today. Begin compiling a list of trusted individuals, bloggers, talk show hosts, attorneys, etc. I plan to be part of this, however, we must combine our resources and efforts. When we choose who to align with we must be careful to pick only those who put God and America first, those with respect for the US Constitution and those who are not motivated by money.

Also, there are websites out there now that do a good job of covering certain aspects, perhaps they can be a central repository for that information.

SC Representative Joe Wilson, a patriot and statesman, will be our poster congressman.

Next I need to clarify what I mean by God.

God is a word we humans use, inadequately to refer to the creator of the universe. We all have a different perception of this entity. Part of this comprehension of our place in the universe is understanding that we are not God and consequently we need a moral compass to guide our actions and interactions with other humans, life forms and the universe itself. So I am referring to a moral compass that is larger than our egos and personal desires. Without it we are savages.

I by no means am trying to impose my beliefs on anyone. In fact, as I stated in the post of Oct 15, we must put aside our minute  differences to save this country. However, all one has to do is examine the lack of moral compass of this administration
and some members of Congress to realize that we must be guided by principals that override our own personal desires and agendas.

Whether or not you believe as I do, you are welcome on this blog.

Part II – October 17 feedback on your comments and steps we can take to prepare for 2010 elections

The Obama administration, Obama thugs and far left mainstream media have characterized opposition to the socialist policies of Obama and Congress as right winger, Republican attacks. Nothing could be further from the truth. Most of this groundswell of concern and patriotism has come from everyday working people of all political parties who are fed up with having legislation rammed down their throats. Fed up with socialist, criminal groups like ACORN receiving hard earned tax payer dollars. Fed up with political games that endanger existing health care coverage and threaten to further destroy  this nation’s economy. Fed up with Obama lies.

We have witnessed historic gatherings of American patriots in Tea Parties and Town Halls across the nation. This has clearly been a grass roots effort of people who care about this country and the nation they will leave to their children and grandchildren. We have witnessed good people that comment on this blog attending Town Halls and Tea Parties across the country. Some of these people not only took the time and expense to attend but some took photos and reported the stories. The beginning of citizen journalism to report the truth despite the best efforts of the MSM to cover it up.

I have stated repeatedly for many months, and I am 100% certain of this, that Congress is at the core of most of our collective government problems. We have an opportunity in the 2010 elections to change Congress. This is a turning point in US History and we must not fail.

I have also stated repeatedly that I do not care for any of the political parties, To state the obvious, they are extremely self serving. I do not see how anyone who cares about this country, who is intelligent and well informed, can support the modern day Democrat party. The Democrat party has been hijacked by far left, socialist and even communist extremists. This does not mean that I totally support a Republican, Independent or other party agenda. Many choices in life are between the lesser of evils. We may have to kick all the Democrats out of Congress just to get rid of Obama. And believe me, the Obama thugs will fight this like a cornered wild animal.

One of the most important things we must do is to get lazy, apathetic Americans off of their behinds to get more involved and most certainly more informed. Who is going to inform them? You and I.

The other important thing we must do, with the help of our newly motivated friends, family and neighbors is to send a clear signal to congressmen that we are watching henceforth to the end of time. We expect them to listen, to act more like statesmen and less like career politicians and do the job of representing our best interests and protecting this nation. This can be done without organizing, without committee meetings without raising funds. I have been doing this with my local sphere of influence. “Locally, I am getting a neighborhood watch program started.

For us to be more organized online, step it up on targeted actions. We have to focus our efforts simultaneously. Identify an elected official or issue that needs leaning on and act. Bloggers can help strategize how best to attack an issue.

More cohesiveness with other blogs so we can spread info even faster. Find other blogs to bring in.”
One person can make a difference. The multiplier effect of each person that gets involved and in turn involves others, is enormous. One of my favorite examples of how each person affects the lives of those around them is Jimmy Stewart in “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Clearly our actions, inactions and impact on our world does indeed matter.

“CW–Great idea…and something that someone should have done long time ago re trusted sites, etc. Perhaps you should list the obvious ones so the thread doesn’t get bombarded with those. I nominate CW site first!!
Then, we can work on the not so well-known or obvious. Also recommend listing by types of sites such as blog sites, radio shows, TV shows, etc, so we can be organized about this. Show identifying data such as phone numbers, email addys, etc.

“Evening, CW,

I have been in touch with several or Orly’s plaintiffs in her Barnett case, one state Rep. is very local to me.

Also, I was asked to connect a popular conservative talk show host in the area to the tea parties-he ended up hosting one. I’m sure he’d come on board, if asked.

It’d be no problem to reconnect with them.

I think that at this point, we’ll need to list some common talking points so that our trusted colleagues could ’speak with one voice.’

“Here’s my suggestion….holding them accountable……..
As you had a Hall Of Shame, create something to that effect to allow posters to share comments, articles, voting records, and stories about each state’s congresscritters to access their stands on all issues(with links provided and resources)

………categorize it by state/party/topic and interested parties can come here to learn about their officials.

Just as I reported what McConnell stated in my letter.”

To me this is one of the best commentary requests you’ve put out. Were on the same page for this one. Yes, we need to get started and organized. It can be done, lets rid ourselves of all the bad CongRATS once and for all.

I would like to suggest to start by adding a new subject banner to your title page.

“Re-election 2010?

List both R and D candidates who will be up for re-election. To me, if a R is rotten, then let’s get them out of office, and likewise if a D is good, perhaps they should be kept.
I know that many on this site have much to report, which is good. But, I feel this is a topic that needs special attention and should be kept seperate from the daily blogs. Further, we need to target those who will be most vulnerable in 2010. Example: No hope Reid. Reid has to go in 2010 period.

I’m from CA and we have some real dodo’s in Congress. Most should be in a rest home….. As I’ve previously stated its not easy to find qualified replacement candidates, but we need to get started.

The big Q: “WHAT CAN I DO?”
