Sarah Palin book tour, Rush Limbaugh interview, November 17, 2009, Going Rogue, Governor Palin interview, Republicans, Independents, Reagan

Sarah Palin, former vice presidential candidate, and now author of a new book, “Going Rogue”, was interviewed by Rush Limbaugh today, Tuesday, November 17, 2009.

Here are some exerpts from the transcripts:

“RUSH: We are going to open this hour with a rare personal interview, a rare guest.  It doesn’t happen much on this program, but we are happy to have with us former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, whose book, Going Rogue, hits the shelves today and it’s already headed for I think a record in sales.  Governor Palin, thanks for making time.  It’s great to talk to you again.  We spoke last Thursday in an interview for the Limbaugh Letter, but it’s great to have you here on the radio.
GOV. PALIN:  Hey, thank you so much, and dittos from an Alaskan.
RUSH:  Where are you, by the way?  Where are we speaking to you from?
GOV. PALIN:  In a hotel room in New York City.  I’m going to do a couple of interviews after that and then head to Grand Rapids for the kickoff of the book tour.
RUSH:  This is going to be exciting.  Are you looking forward to that?
GOV. PALIN:  I am so looking forward to this.  I cannot wait to meet some of these good Americans all across this country.  It’s going to be a blast.
RUSH:  They can’t wait to meet you, judging by the reception you got during the campaign.  Now, ladies and gentlemen, Governor Palin, when we spoke last Thursday I spoke to her a lot about the things in her book regarding the campaign.  That stuff you’ll read in the Limbaugh Letter, and I predicted to Governor Palin then that much of her book would be ignored in light of the dirt that she was supposedly dishing from the campaign.  So Governor Palin what I’d like to do here is go some different directions from what we did in the newsletter interview and start with the economy.  We have 10.2% unemployment.  We see no end in sight.  The administration and others are suggesting next year could be just as bad with unemployment going up to 11%.  What would you do differently than is being done now?
GOV. PALIN:  It’s over 10%, and in fact it could be closer to 17 or 18 when you consider those who have kind of given up and are not applying for unemployment benefits. So it’s bad, it’s really bad and then of course Fed Chair Bernanke announced that there are still weak job prospects for the very short term and probably long term, and that’s an uncomfortable place for our country to be.  What we need to do is shift gears and really head in another direction because what we’re doing right now with the Fed, it’s not working. We need to cut taxes on the job creators.  This is all about jobs, creating jobs.  We have to ramp up industry here in America, and of course reduce the federal debt, quit piling on and growing more.  But those commonsense solutions there, especially with the cutting taxes on the job creators, that’s not even being discussed.  In fact, increased taxes is the direction it sounds like Obama wants to go.
RUSH:  You mean that you don’t even hear it being discussed on the Republican side or within the administration?
GOV. PALIN:  Within the administration, and as it is discussed on the Republican side, Republicans need to be bolder about it.  Independents need to be bolder about that solution that has got to be considered and plugged in.  This is the only solution that will be successful.  We need to rehash some history that proves its success.  Let’s go back to what Reagan did in the early eighties and stay committed to those commonsense free market principles that worked.  He faced a tougher recession than what we’re facing today.  He cut those taxes, ramped up industry, and we pulled out of that recession.  We need to revisit that.
RUSH:  Why do you think this administration is ignoring that blueprint?  What is their ultimate objective here?  They’re sitting in the middle of abject failure of their number-one stated goal, and that’s job creation.  So what are they really trying to do here do you think?
GOV. PALIN:  Well, you wonder, you wonder because history proves what will work and you wonder if they’re realizing that and if it’s just perhaps a stubbornness at this point that they are so committed to going down this road of growing government and interjecting the Feds’ control in the private sector more and more, which will prove to be more failure.  I don’t know if it’s obstinate thinking that they’re engaged in right now or if they truly just do not believe what the free market, free enterprise economic solutions are that built up this country.
RUSH:  Do you think this is going to be a major issue in the congressional elections in 2010, and if so, how would you advise Republicans to pursue it?
GOV. PALIN:  It better be a major issue, absolutely.  Of course, national security will be, too, and hopefully we’ll talk a little bit about some of the decisions being made in that arena that cause so many of us concern but, yeah, the economy, that’s what it’s going to be because it’s all about jobs, it’s all about Americans who are hurting right now and what those solutions are that are so obvious, so commonsense that need to be plugged in.  And those are Republican, they’re commonsense conservative principles that we just need to apply.
RUSH:  New York-23 is being portrayed as a race in which you and I — because we supposedly went up there — handpicked Doug Hoffman, he supposedly lost, even though that race, they still haven’t finished counting the votes.  It’s two weeks!  This is not Chicago.  They haven’t finished counting the votes.  He says he wishes he could un-concede now.  But they’re trying to diminish conservatism, and I think in the process intimidate the Republican Party from going in that direction.  What’s your read on New York-23?
GOV. PALIN:  I think this is exciting.  It’s encouraging.  No matter the outcome even with his recount of some of those, well, uncounted ballots, it’s exciting that the race is going to be even closer, and it’s a clearer and clearer picture that what Americans are seeking, even in a district there in New York, they are seeking commonsense, conservative solutions to all the challenges that we’re facing.  I’m glad to see this.
RUSH:  So the positive thing there is that the Republican Party was rebuffed in nominating essentially a RINO, a liberal?

GOV. PALIN:  Well, I think what you saw there is — and of course it’s not just the Republican machine, it’s the Democrat machine, too.  You know, if you’re not the anointed one within the machine, sometimes you have a much tougher row to hoe and that’s what Hoffman faced. He was the underdog.  I think great timing for him, though, to stand strong on his conservative credentials and essentially come out of nowhere and prove that an American without that resume, without that machine backing can truly make a difference in an election like this.

RUSH:  Well, now, you used the term, “If you’re not the anointed one by the party machine, you’re the underdog and you have a tough row to hoe.”  Based on things that I read, the Republican establishment would not anoint you to be a nominee of their party should you choose to go that way.  I’m not asking you the question because I know you’re not going to answer and give away what your plans are in 2012.

GOV. PALIN: (chuckles)

RUSH: Do you consider yourself one of these unanointed ones within your own party?

GOV. PALIN:  Well, to some in both parties, politics is more of a business.  It’s not so much a commitment to an agenda or a person or values or issues.  It’s more of a business — and, no, I’m not a part of that.  So if they’re going to keep using that way of thinking in their decisions on who they anoint, who they will support or not then, no. I’ll never be a part of that. But hopefully we’re going to see a shift with independents, with the Republican Party and the Democrat Party, and we’re going to get back to what the issues are, what really matters, and then hopefully we’re going to go from there, which will be much fairer to the electorate.

RUSH:  All right, independents, slash, third party.  A lot of people — mistakenly, in my view — are looking at New York-23 as evidence that, see, a third party could actually do well. But that’s not a good example because there was no primary there.  As you said, the party bosses chose Dede Scozzafava on the Republican side and a Democrat.  Had there been a primary, New York-23 would not have been constituted as it was.  So what are your thoughts now on the viability of a third party if the Republican Party can’t be brought around?

GOV. PALIN:  You know, to be brutally honest, I think that it’s a bit naive when you talk about the pragmatism that has to be applied in America’s political system. And we are a two-party system. Ideally, sure, a third party or an independent party would be able to soar and thrive and put candidates forth and have them elected, but I don’t think America is ready for that.  I think that it is… Granted it’s quite conventional and traditional, but in a good way that we have our two parties, and I think that that’s what will remain. And I say that, though, acknowledging that I’m not an obsessive panther, I understand why people — good people like my own husband — refuse to register in a party. Todd’s not a Republican and yet he’s got more commonsense conservatism than a whole lot of Republicans that I know because he is one who sees the idiosyncrasies of the characters within the machine and it frustrates him along with a whole lot of other Americans who choose to be independent.  But in answer to your question, I don’t think that the third party movement will be what’s necessary to usher in some commonsense conservative ideals.”

Michele Bachmann, Jon Voight, Mark Levin, Republican congressmen, November 5, 2009, Health Care Bill Tea party, Protest of socialist government health care

The Tea Party protest at the Capitol steps today, Thursday, November 5, 2009 and organized by Representative Michele Bachmann was a huge success. We were told that the sounds of the protest could be heard inside of the Capitol Building. That is no wonder. A large crowd showed up and at one time, their constant chants of “No” to government run health care could probably be heard across the Potomac.

Mark Levin was Mark Levin. He told it like it is.

“Thousands descend on Washington DC to protest the Pelosi Health Care Bill. Thousands more attend their Representatives offices around the country to send the message. NO NO NO YOU CAN’T! ”

Jon Voight, who gave a magnificent speech and brought two of this friends to speak, will be on the Hannity Show on Fox, tonight at 9:00 PM ET.

At least one of the commenters on this blog was brought to tears by the inspiration of this protest. I must admit, my eyes too were moistened. I also, once again, want to say how much I admire Michele Bachmann. She should be an inspiration to all who have obtained or seek public office.

As many of you know, I am not fond of either political party. However, the Democrat party is being held hostage by the far left socialists. If the Republicans will listen, serve the American people and stop this socialist Health Care Bill, they will get my support. That is with one stipulation. No more business as usual. Defend the US Constitution, behave more as statesmen and less like politicians and save this country.

Michele Bachmann, Nancy Pelosi, November 5, 2009, Capitol Building steps, Tea part protest, Judge Napolitano warning, Socialist government Health care Bill

Judge Napolitano, substituting for Glenn Beck on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, warned Michele Bachmann about Nancy Pelosi and her power to disrupt the tea party protest on the Capitol steps today, November 5, 2009.

“Bachmann Warned Of Pelosi Security Crackdown On Capitol Tea Party”

From Fox News, November 5, 2009

“Republicans Try to Rally Resistance to Health Care Bill, as House Vote Nears”

“With health care reform tracking toward a possible vote in the House Saturday, Republicans are making a last-ditch bid to derail or at least delay the legislation by bringing public pressure to the steps of Congress.

The GOP is organizing a “House Call” Thursday afternoon on Capitol Hill, where they plan to rally constituents concerned about the implications of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s bill. Republicans are calling on those who attend to corner, politely, their elected representatives in Congress and put pressure on them to think twice about voting for the more than $1 trillion health care overhaul.”

“”It seems like the lessons of the town halls and the tea parties are lost on these people,” Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn., told Fox News. “So we need to bring the town hall here … and plead for real freedom-loving Americans to come to the steps of the U.S. Capitol.”

The conservative “tea party” movement has gotten involved with the rally, which is expected to feature speakers as well as the formal unveiling of the Republican version of health care reform.

Bachmann said she hatched this idea as a way to “really kill this bill.” ”

“”A lot of Blue Dogs in this country are going to have a lot of ‘splaining to do back at home in their districts, where people do not want the health care that’s being peddled by this administration,” Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele told Fox News. “They don’t want government control. They don’t want a government option.”  The Senate, where Democrats have a slighter majority, is not progressing quite as fast. There are emerging doubts over whether the Senate can bring a bill to the floor by the end of the year.”

Michele Bachmann Patriot V Harry Reid Politician, Nancy Pelosi politics, Socialist Health Care Bill, US Constitution trampled, Support Bachmann, Kick out Pelosi and Reid

Patriot Michele Bachmann

Vs

Politicians Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid

Politicians Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and the Democratic controlled Congress are attempting to ram the Obama socialist Health Care Bill down the throats of the American public. Patriot stateswoman, Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, is trying to stop passage of a government run Health Care Program. Michele Bachmann will confront Pelosi and Congress on the steps of the Capitol Building on Thursday, November 5, 2009. We must support Bachmann.

Regardless of what the out of control Congress does, we must get rid of Reid and Pelosi. Harry Reid can be voted out of office in 2010. Whether or not Pelosi can be voted out of office, since she represents one of the most liberal parts of the country, does not matter. We can change Congress and remove her as Speaker of the House. That is very doable.

Let’s focus on Harry Reid and his involvement in chicanery and constitutionally shady activites, attempting to force socialist health care upon us.

Over the past several months, the makeup of the senate and the number of senators required to pass a Health Care Bill has been talked about and analyzed. Two numbers, 50 and 60, have been frequently mentioned.  The following explains what Harry Reid and his cohorts are attempting to do (recent events may make even this difficult to achieve).

From the US House rules

“THE BUDGET RECONCILIATION PROCESS
In the Senate, total debate on a reconciliation bill is limited to 20 hours, although the actual time for consideration of the omnibus package often exceeds this time limit set in the Budget Act. Motions and amendments may be offered and considered without debate at the end of this time period. There are also restrictions on the content of a reconciliation package and on the amendments which may be offered to it. For example, any amendment to the bill that is not germane, would add extraneous material, would cause deficit levels to increase, or that contains recommendations with respect to the Social Security program, is not in order. The Budget Act also maintains that reconciliation provisions must be related to reconciling the budget. For example, section 313 of the Budget Act, more commonly known as the “Byrd Rule”, provides a point of order in the Senate against extraneous matter in reconciliation bills. Determining what is extraneous is often a procedural and political quagmire navigated in part by the Senate Parliamentarian. The Byrd Rule and other points of order in the Budget Act may only be waived in the Senate by a three-fifths vote. Furthermore, the Budget Act prevents reconciliation legislation from being filibustered on the Senate floor.”

http://www.rules.house.gov/archives/bud_rec_proc.htm

From Patriot’s Network, Dick Morris

“Once Obama’s plan fails to attract 60 votes, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) will fall back on reconciliation as a strategy and hope for 50 votes. But if the Democrats pass the bill with 50 votes, it will set a precedent they may come to rue. It would basically eliminate the filibuster as a parliamentary tactic and would condemn any future minority party (Democrats in 2011?) to the same irrelevance as afflicts their House colleagues. To be in the minority in a chamber run by a bare majority is not a fun task.”

http://usaguns.net/patriot/pg/blog/Syndee/read/5632/dick-morris-the-fox-news-analyst-says-we-can-still-defeat-obamacare

From the Las Vegas Review Journal October 18, 2009

“If Harry Reid decides to use the Senate’s “reconciliation” process to ram health care legislation through his chamber and crush a filibuster, then he’ll have to reconcile something else: his astounding hypocrisy.

The majority leader from Nevada is working behind closed doors to merge health care bills passed by the Senate’s health and finance committees. He desperately wants to come up with something that can get 60 votes — the number needed to halt any attempt by minority Republicans to block a final vote on the massive expansion of federal authority.

Although Reid has 60 votes in his caucus, it might be an impossible task. Moderate Democrats oppose a “public option” that allows the government to sell health insurance and undercut private-sector providers, and far-left Democrats are insisting that any bill include the first step toward nationalized health care.

So Reid has let it be known that wrangling over the public option might compel him to go with the “nuclear option”: ending a filibuster without 60 votes.

To do that, Reid would have to use a parliamentary maneuver called “budget reconciliation.” Votes on the federal budget are exempt from filibusters. If he takes this route, Reid would have to pretend the legislation is a simple matter of fiscal housekeeping — a routine issue that needs just 51 votes to pass.

Given the complexity and controversy surrounding new health insurance mandates and regulations, such an end-around would be unprecedented.”

“”The filibuster is a critical tool in keeping the majority in check,” Reid continued. “This central fact has been acknowledged and even praised by senators from both parties. …”

“The right to extended debate is never more important than when one party controls Congress and the White House. …”

“Some in this Chamber want to throw out 217 years of Senate history in the quest for absolute power. They want to do away with Mr. Smith coming to Washington. They want to do away with the filibuster. They think they are wiser than our Founding Fathers. I doubt that’s true.””

“In other words, the filibuster is “a critical tool in keeping the majority in check” when Democrats are in the minority, but it’s a disposable relic when liberals are trying to run up the national debt and regulate our economy to death.”

“But if he decides to take the filibuster out back and shoot it, he risks incurring even more wrath from Nevada voters, who already are growing tired of his expedience and pandering to the far left. A Review-Journal poll conducted this month found 54 percent of registered Nevada voters don’t want Reid to use reconciliation to pass sweeping health insurance regulations. Only 32 percent approve of the tactic.

“If he does that, he is resigning himself to not being re-elected (in 2010),” said Brad Coker of Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc., which conducted the poll.

If he does that, no amount of explaining, no amount of convenient forgetting will save Hypocrite Harry.”

Nevada citizens speak out on Reid

“He (Reid) and Pelosi have totally destroyed this country,” said Elouise Joyner of Bullhead City. “I have no idea what their agenda is, but it’s not an American agenda,” she said. “There’s nobody that wants this stupid health care bill, yet he’s going to push it.”

“I don’t think he should be returned (to office) because I don’t believe in his philosophy,” said Jeannie Norris of Mesquite, Nev. “I don’t want more taxes.”

“He hasn’t done anything for Nevada,” said Norris’ husband, Jim, “and he just doesn’t represent me and he doesn’t believe in what I believe in.””

From Defeat Read 2010

“There is a lot of work to do before the Mid Term elections in 2010 and not much time to do it. If you have a little extra time, we are looking for volunteers to lend a hand in this effort.
As a darling of the left, Harry Reid is the one most well funded candidates in the Senate and that is just his own campaign war chest. So far he has over 7 million dollars as of his last quarterly report. He will also be aided by every left wing special interest group in America.

The DNC has identified his seat as one that is particularly vulnerable seeing how unpopular he is with many Nevada voters. Recent polls show his unfavorable ratings hovering around 50%.

Unlike ACORN we will not be receiving any of the stimulus money. This means we are not going to be able to do this alone. It will take a group effort to have a real effect.
Like many of Harry Reid’s constituents, we do not feel that the Senator is representing the interests of the people of the great State of Nevada. Senator Reid has become one of the spokespersons for the expansion of government and for trillions of dollars in deficit spending.”

HarryReidKickOut

Harry Reid recently has indicated that a Health Care Bill may not be passed this week. The elections yesterday and the Michele Bachmann Tea party on the Capitol steps tomorrow may cause some Democrats to think twice about voting against their constituents’ wishes. However, do not trust Harry Reid. Keep a close eye on him.

And make certain Reid is voted out of office next year.

What a fantastic rally in Rapid City, South Dakota!

After our great rally in Bozeman, MT we made up some of the distance to Rapid City, SD by driving a ways to Billings, MT.

It was Halloween night and we were sick of the ‘tricks’ being played on “We The People” by the politicians. The next morning we had a long drive across Montana, Wyoming and into South Dakota – in a land where cell phone towers are few and far between. That meant no Internet access and no cell phone access.

We arrived at our venue at the Central States Fairgrounds and had a fantastic event in their rodeo hall. Here are some pics for you all to enjoy:”

Election 2009, November 3, 2009, Voters reject Obama agenda and Democratic Congress, Virginia rout, NJ rejects Obama, No more Obama

“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”…Winston Churchill

My fellow Americans, we have achieved a milestone. We can partially rejoice. As Winston Churchill stated, this is not the end but perhaps we have turned a corner and with cautious optimism, we can try to stop the Democratic Congress and Obama from ramming an unpopular and ruinous Health Care Bill down our throats. And regardless of how the Health Care agenda plays out, we must dramatically change the composition and attitude of Congress next year in the 2010 elections.

We have achieved great victories in Virginia, New Jersey and New York City. The victory in VA was a rout. The victory in New Jersey was a slap in the face to Obama, who had campaigned for Governor Corzine three times in the past several months. This is a clear signal to Obama and the Democrat controlled Congress that Americans want change all right. Change from Obama’s socialist agenda.

We must continue to support the efforts of Minnesota Representative Michele Bachmann and others to confront Nancy Pelosi and Congress to demand no government Health Care. All of our efforts and hopes hinge on contacting our congressmen and holding them accountable. That means in the next several days, leading up to the elections in 2010 and henceforth.

Don’t back down.

Don’t let up.

Jon Corzine, NJ governor Corzine, Obama campaigning, The Corzine Times, Tax plan, Property taxes, Corzine budget, Corzine’s shady investments

New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine has been constantly in the news because of  the tight race with Republican Christie and repeated Obama campaign visits to shore up Obama’s image and influence. However, there is a lot of information about Corzine’s record on taxes, shady investments and ties to corruption figures.

The Corzine Times is a website devoted to covering stories about NJ Governor Corzine.

“The Failed Join Corzine 2005 Tax Plan… How many broken promises do you count?”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/tax-plan-unveiled/

“The state, with the highest property taxes in the nation, is home to six of the nation’s 10 most expensive counties, according to the Tax Foundation, a nonprofit group that analyzed Census data released this week.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/jerseyans-are-pinched-hardest-to-pay-property-taxes/

“Gov. Jon Corzine has a stake in a private hedge fund related to the corporate owner of four New Jersey casinos. The Corzine hedge fund is TPG-Axon, while its founder is Texas Pacific Group (TPG). They share the same address and some of the same people as well as the same name.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/576/

“The bi-state agency formed to combat corruption within the New York and New Jersey ports became riddled with abuse — misusing federal Homeland Security funding, hiring unqualified cops, and allowing convicted felons to get jobs. In a scathing 67-page report, the New York Inspector General said the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor had failed in its duties.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/waterfront-commission-officials-accused-of-corruption/

“Michael Madonna… symbolizes just about everything that was wrong with the waterfront commission. His conflicts of interest were rampant.”

“And we would like to know how he held on to it until last week, despite the fact that much of the top staff of the failed agency, including his New York counterpart, were gone last year. New top officials have been brought in and sweeping reforms have been put in place.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/why-did-corzine-reappoint-michael-madonna-to-the-waterfront-commission/

“Jon Corzine won the governorship of New Jersey four years ago pledging to bring needed change to a state defined by corruption and the highest property taxes in the country.

And four years later, things did change. The state’s Democratic political establishment became more corrupt than ever and its tax burdens heavier than before, in part due to a pay-to-play culture of corruption the governor did little if anything to combat and a bunch of new fees and taxes Mr. Corzine enacted in the midst of the recession.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/weeding-out-the-garden-state/

“The state’s $28.6 billion budget, which could be approved by the Legislature as early as today, includes an estimated $75 million to be raised from a tax increase on health and dental plans.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/budget-hikes-taxes-on-healthcare/

With corruption ties, tax hikes and ruining the economy, Jon Corzine looks like Obama’s kind of guy.

Michele Bachmann, House floor speech, Government control of GM, Obama thugs, Government cartel, We Now Have A Total Gangster Government

I have been watching Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann for months and I have been very impressed . She does not mince words and she is trying to protect the American public and taxpayers. Her efforts to protect Americans did not begin with her outcry against the socialist Health Care Bill. In the following Youtube video she speaks out about the gangster like control of the private sector by the federal government.

“Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) speaking on the House floor: Now we’ve moved into the realm of gangster government. We have gangster government when the Federal Government has set up a new cartel and private businesses now have to go begging with their hand out to their localhopefully well politically connectedCongressman or their Senator so they can buy a peace offering for that local business. Is that the kind of country we are going to have in the future?”

“We Now Have A Total Gangster Government”

This Gangster like control of the private sector comes as no surprise to the readers of this blog or anyone really paying attention over the past year and a half.

chairman of a newly created Executive Committee of that Board, according to a June 13, 2006 University announcement. In
addition, Jarrett was named vice-chair of the University’s Board of Trustees, the announcement states. Michelle landed a high paying job at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Two months after Obama became a US senator, she was appointed vice president for community and external affairs. Tax returns show the promotion nearly tripled her pay to
$317,000 in 2005, from $122,000 in 2004.”

Planning board votes rigged for Mercy Hospital scheme

“Although the application was rejected the first time, Mercy moved for reconsideration and won approval at the April 21,
2004 meeting. Beck testified that after the meeting, he and Levine drove to Rezko’s office to tell him the plan was
approved and Rezko was there with Christopher Kelly.”

“It was further part of the conspiracy that defendants ROD BLAGOJEVICH and KELLY, along with Monk, Cellini, Robert
Blagojevich, Harris, Rezko, and Levine, and others, used and attempted to use the powers of the Office of the Governor
and of certain state boards and commissions subject to the influence of the Office of the Governor, to take and cause
governmental actions, including: appointments to boards and commissions; the awarding of state business, grants, and
investment fund allocations; the enactment of legislation and executive orders; and the appointment of a United States
Senator; in exchange for financial benefits for themselves and others, including campaign contributions for ROD
BLAGOJEVICH, money for themselves, and employment for ROD BLAGOJEVICH and his wife.”

Cristopher Kelly dead, Planning board rigging

September 13, 2009

“Kelly dies of possible overdose
Authorities say death may be suicide but are investigating it as homicide”

“Kelly, 51, who was to report to federal prison officials this week to start serving an 8-year sentence, died Saturday at
Stroger Hospital in what authorities said was a possible suicide from an over-the-counter medication. An autopsy is
scheduled for Sunday, and police in Chicago and south suburban Country Club Hills are conducting a death investigation.

Kelly’s death ended a tumultuous year in his life. He twice pleaded guilty to federal charges. He was estranged from his
wife. And he faced serious financial problems, partly due to gambling debts. But Kelly indicated he was not going to turn
on Blagojevich despite pressure from prosecutors.”

Citizen Wells clarification

“Do not let the fact that the federal prosecutors convicted Kelly because of his corruption involving O’Hare International Airport. Just as most of the corruption Blagojevich had to do with “pay to play” politics in Chicago and Illinois, Kelly was involved with Blagojevich, Rezko, Levine and ultimately Obama in the Planning Board rigging that corrupted the Mercy Hospital deal.”

Christpher Kelly’s role clarified

What is the current attempt by Obama and liberal Democrats at health care reform all about?

  • Appeasing their far left core support.
  • More control over the American people to get votes.
  • Payback to trial lawyers and other big supporters (refer to contribution table above).
  • Achieving the goals of far left, socialist, communists who are controlling the party with the goal of redistribution of wealth..

Truth about Obama Health care Reform

Would you trust Obama, et al with your and your family’s health care?

Please pass this story along to Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and as many people as possible. The story of Alonzo Monk pleading guilty has been barely covered. The much larger story of Monk’s involvement in Illinois corruption, the impact on health care in IL and Monk’s ties to Obama is a much bigger story. And the really big story is that Obama is trying to force health care changes on this country just like Rod Blagojevich tried, for the enrichment of himself and his cronies.

Save New Jersey Initiative

It is only fitting that Barack Obama campaign for New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine. They have so much in common. Especially when it comes to connections to crime and corruption  and wasting taxpayer’s money on their own agenda.

From the New York Post, October 24, 2009.
“Corzine, cash & corruption”
“New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine really has no shame.

Just hours after Bergen County’s longtime Democratic machine boss, Joseph Ferriero, was convicted Thursday on three federal felony corruption counts — which could land him in prison for 20 years — New Jersey’s governor proudly defended having written him personal checks totaling nearly a half-million dollars.

That’s right: Corzine, the Wall Street multimillionaire, and his family have funneled no less than $441,600 of their own money to keep Ferriero’s arrogant political machine rolling.

And Corzine claims to be leading the charge of ethics reform in the state.

During Thursday night’s final gubernatorial debate, Corzine claimed — with a straight face — that “when I have written checks to the Bergen County Democratic Organization, it is not to Joe Ferriero.”

Tell that to anyone who knows Jersey politics; Ferriero practically ran Bergen County single-handedly.

Corzine insisted that he “took on Joe Ferriero myself, long before the federal prosecutors.”

Yet, as one observer put it, if taking on Ferriero meant giving him nearly $500,000, feel free to take us on anytime.

In fact, even as Ferriero was being probed by the grand jury, Corzine sent out a statewide glossy flier that not only endorsed the Bergen boss, but praised his political tactics.”

Birds of a feather do flock together. We know that from Obama’s past close associations with the likes of Tony Rezko, Rod Blagojevich, Stuart Levine, et al.
Now Obama is not only revealing his true character, his popularity and support are plummeting and his first priority is saving face by trying to keep the unpopular NJ Governor Corzine from losing to a Republican. Instead of doing the job of Commander in Chief, focusing on the war in Afghanistan, he is spending time and taxpayer money to support his crony, Corzine.
From the NY Times, October 21, 2009.

“Obama Campaigns for Corzine in Close Race”
“Hoping to spare his party an embarrassing defeat in one of the year’s most closely watched elections, President Obama on Wednesday campaigned alongside Gov. Jon S. Corzine of New Jersey, saying that a Democratic victory in the state would help the president carry out the political change he was elected to bring to Washington last year.

Mr. Corzine is the first incumbent governor to seek re-election since the economic crisis hit last fall, and he is locked n a tight race with the Republican nominee, Christopher J. Christie, who has criticized Mr. Corzine over New Jersey’s spiraling taxes and rising unemployment.”
“The appearance was part of a political blitz for Mr. Obama, who appeared in New York Tuesday to raise more than $3 million for two Democrats and is scheduled to stump in Massachusetts and Virginia next week.

Mr. Christie was careful not to criticize Mr. Obama, but said that New Jersey voters were savvy enough to judge Mr. Corzine on his own record.

“Air Force One is leaving tonight,” he said. “If they vote for Jon Corzine, President Obama isn’t moving in to run the state.””

Obama will travel to NJ on Monday to spend more taxpayer money

From the Star Ledger,  October 28, 2009.
“Corzine’s money fuels his comeback”
“Gov. Jon Corzine continues to tap into his personal fortune to dramatically outspend his opponents in a comeback bid for a second term, reports released yesterday show.

Corzine, a former Wall Street executive, has spent $23.6 million on the general election, compared to Republican Chris Christie’s $8.8 million and independent Chris Daggett’s $1.2 million, according to the state Election Law Enforcement Commission.

Corzine donated or loaned his general election campaign $22.6 million of its $24.1 million, writing checks to cover TV ads, several pollsters and a $15,000 hall rental for President Obama’s visit to Fairleigh Dickinson University.

The Democrat has now dedicated more than $120 million of his own money in his campaigns. He spent a combined $100 million on successful bids for U.S. Senate in 2000 and governor in 2005.

The governor dismissed questions about his spending yesterday, saying “I have no idea” whether the financial advantage enabled him to pull even in recent polls.”
“Christie said Corzine’s wallet played a “huge role” in changing the dynamics of the campaign.

“When somebody outspends you 3 to 1 on nothing but negative ads, that has an effect, there’s no question that has an effect,” he said in Monroe Township. “That’s quite a thing to be up against.””

The Citizen Wells blog is asking for your support to save New Jersey and effectively, the country.

What we are asking for is simple and is based on a simple and proven concept.

Six degrees of separation.

“Six degrees of separation is the theory that anyone on the planet can be connected to any other person on the planet through a chain of acquaintances that has no more than five intermediaries. ”

This is a simple strategy that is at the heart of grassroots efforts.

Contact as many people as possible and have them do the same. If you have a blog or website, put up article(s) about what is going on in New Jersey. Quote this site, borrow info from this site or create your own article. I am not looking for credit, just results.

We cannot let Obama and Corzine steal this election to validate Obama’s agenda.

We cannot let corrupt politicians buy votes, especially with taxpayer dollars.

Let’s roll.
