Obama Iraq speech, Obama truth, Obama takes credit Bush deserves

From Fox News.

“President Obama’s Oval Office address Tuesday evening was timed to mark the end of the U.S. combat mission in Iraq, though it also came two months before midterm congressional elections that could hinge on the state of the domestic economy — and Obama didn’t shy from drawing links and contrasts between the two.

Obama portrayed the end of the U.S. combat role in the Iraq as an opportunity to shift more focus to rebuilding the economy, which some economists say is increasingly in danger of falling back into a recession.

“We have spent a trillion dollars at war, often financed by borrowing from overseas. This, in turn, has short-changed investments in our own people, and contributed to record deficits,” he said, adding that too many middle-class families are working harder for less.

The troops in Iraq “have met every test that they faced,” Obama said. “Now, it is our turn. Now, it is our responsibility to honor them by coming together, all of us, and working to secure the dream that so many generations have fought for — the dream that a better life awaits anyone who is willing to work for it and reach for it”.

But Republicans refused to allow Obama to move on without noting the credit they say was due to President Bush for the troop surge in 2007 that ultimately saved a losing war effort. Although Obama had opposed the surge as a senator, Republican leaders said he should have given Bush kudos for its success.

John McCain, the Republican senator who ran against Obama in the 2008 presidential election, called it “a real lack of generosity of spirit.”

“What he should have said: ‘I opposed the surge. I was wrong. I made a mistake and George W. Bush deserves credit for doing something that was very unpopular at the time,'” McCain told Fox News. “Instead he had to say it’s well known that George Bush loves the troops.””

“Obama was criticized by the Kenyan Government for his 2006 visit
to Kenya when he campaigned for his cousin Raila Odinga and
insulted the government. Now we learn that when Obama met with
Iraqi leaders “He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington,“, stated Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari. The NY Post has a breaking news article on Obama’s meeting. Here are some exerpts from the article dated Monday, September 15, 2008:

“OBAMA TRIED TO STALL GIS’ IRAQ WITHDRAWAL“

“WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.”

“This Youtube video of the town hall meeting in Kingman, AZ on August 22, 2009, hosted by representative Trent Franks, is a must see. What is compelling about this video is the US Army veteran that served in Iraq speaking the truth about our presence there, media bias from the likes of CNN and the fact that the Iraqis voted for the first time. The Army veteran also lauded the US Constitution as the law of the land and went on to praise George Bush as a much better commander in chief than Barack Obama.

Representative Franks held another town hall meeting last night, August 25, 2009. If a video surfaces from that meeting, please forward the info.
“I don’t know this guy, but I want to say thanks. And to all those who serve in the the United States Armed Forces, thank you. You sign your lives away for the freedom of others. There are no greater heroes in this country.””

Glenn Beck, Birthers, Obama eligibility, AKA, Email, Birth certificate, Obama college records, Beck insults Americans, Glenn Beck Radio Show, Fox, Natural born citizen, US Constitution, Certification of Live Birth, American citizens idiots?

Why has Obama employed a legion of private and government attorneys to avoid presenting a legitimate birth certificate and college records?…Citizen Wells and millions of Americans

Glenn Beck, you are a lucky man. We have been trying to figure out for over a year why you have avoided touching the Obama eligibility issues. It is now widely believed that the Saudi ownership of a large part of Fox is the main reason. If it were not for your being popular and consistently revealing the truth about Obama and his associates, you would be toast. Your recent insults of average, hard working, concerned Americans was unacceptable. We are giving you a chance to wake up and apologize.
The following is an email recently sent to Glenn Beck. It is well written and well documented.

“A question of integrity

January 12, 2010

The following e-mail was sent to Glenn Beck on January 8, 2010.

Dear Mr Beck,

A colleague forwarded to me the following e-mail, received from you:

From: Glenn Beck
To: Listener
Sent: Monday, January 04, 2010 2:19 PM
Subject: Glenn returns fired up, ready to go

“Birthers Birthing

Just like the notorious ‘seminar callers’ Rush talks about, there is a new type of seminar caller out there trying to get on talk radio: the birther. Sure, there are plenty of idiots out there who actually think Barack Obama was not born in the United States and this is a way to get him impeached. But most reasonable people don’t believe that. It’s so ridiculous that it’s actually a good distraction for Obama, because it’s an easy win for him and distracts from the real issues. Is that why so many birthers seem to be on different talk shows lately? Glenn explains. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)”

It is both shocking and appalling, Mr Beck, that you would write, much less send, something like this.  That you apparently did is making scores of Americans question not only your veracity but also your integrity.

There is no issue more important to this nation than the question of Also Known As (AKA) Obama’s eligibility to the office he holds.

If, as the evidence more than adequately indicates, AKA is not eligible to the office he holds, the United States Constitution is in great peril as is every right guaranteed the people of this nation under that document, including your right of free speech under the First Amendment.  Whether AKA legitimately holds the office of president is of paramount importance to every issue you address regarding his Marxist agenda.

You refer to the people gravely concerned by what, by all indications, is an egregious breach of our Constitution, as “birthers.”

But I ask you, can you prove, beyond reasonable doubt, that AKA is eligible to the office he holds?

Have you seen AKA’s actual birth certificate issued at the time of his birth?  Have you?  Because, if you have, you are the only one, besides AKA, who has seen it.

AKA admits in his book, Dreams from my father, that he found his actual birth certificate among papers in his maternal grandparents home, in Hawaii, when he lived with them.  That being the case, Mr Beck, why the need to produce a laser printed document?  Why not simply produce his actual birth certificate as John McCain did when his eligibility was questioned?

But we have seen the pictures of the Certification of Live Birth?  That we have.  And you know what, Mr Beck, they prove absolutely nothing.  “Here officer, let me show you the picture I have of my drivers’ license; it is no doubt just as acceptable as my actual drivers’ license!”

I have to ask, have you actually seen the Certification of Live Birth that AKA has claimed is his birth certificate?  No, I don’t mean pictures, I mean the actual document?  If you haven’t, then how do you know it’s legit?  In the day and age of PhotoShop, how do you know it wasn’t forged, especially in light of the fact that the digital files behind all those pictures on the internet show the pictures have been altered?

Don’t you find it rather odd that AKA has spent close to $2 million trying to keep his actual birth certificate, which he has, concealed while John McCain, when the question of eligibility arose, whipped his out for any and all to look at?

You’ve “spent minutes pondering that question”?  Really?  Does that have more to do with mental acuity or does it have more to do with the clown persona you seem to like to exude?

You have been quoted as saying that you believe those requesting that AKA produce his actual birth certificate are discrediting themselves.  Really?  On what do you base your assertion?

Do you base it on the fact that AKA has admitted he was a dual citizen at birth?  A dual citizen is not natural-born.  A natural born citizen is born of two American parents on American soil, a fact which AKA acknowledged when he became a co-sponsor of SR 511, passed by the Senate, and providing a “sense” of the Senate regarding John McCain’s eligibility.

While AKA may have been born on American soil, his father was a British subject.  He is not natural-born and is not, therefore, eligible to the office of president under Article II, Section 1, Clause 5, United States Constitution.

What about that do you find so hard to comprehend?

That, above and beyond all your clueless comments and accusations, is the crux of the situation.

But there is more that does play into this matter beyond the dual citizenship.  While it secondary to the fact of dual citizenship and ineligibility to the office of president, it is relevant to the matter.

How do you address the fact that when AKA claims he was born, there was a law in effect, in Hawaii, which allowed for the birth registration of foreign-born children?  That law was not repealed until 1972.  What this means, Mr Beck, is that until said time as AKA’s actual birth certificate, which he has, is produced and examined, where he was actually born is up for grabs.  The claim that he was born in Honolulu, in the face of that law, means nothing.

If he was born outside the United States, there is no question that he is not eligible.

So, please, tell us on what you base your assertion?  Or is the case more that you don’t want to be bothered by the facts?

You assert that AKA is an American.  He may be an American but that does not equate to being natural born.  But then, there has been no proof presented that he is an American, so your assertion is not based on fact.

There is yet more.

In Ann Soetoro v Lolo Soetoro, filed August 1980 when AKA was 19, it is stated that AKA is a “dependent [of the respondent, Lolo Soetoro] for the purposes of education.”  How is it possible for AKA to be considered a legal dependent of Lolo Soetoro absent AKA being legally adopted by Lolo Soetoro?  You are aware, are you not, of the registration of AKA at the Fransiskus Assisi Primary School in Jakarta, listing his name as Barry Soetoro and his citizenship as Indonesian?  That registration is dated January 1, 1967.

Was AKA, at the age of 19, named as a dependent of Lolo Soetoro for the purposes of education, so he could obtain, as an Indonesian citizen, foreign student scholarships to Occidental?  Is that why his Occidental records, Columbia records and Harvard records have all been sealed?

And this leads to another question.

If ever eligible to do so, where are the legal documents wherein AKA reclaimed his American citizenship at age 18, one year before he was listed as a dependent of Lolo Soetoro in the Soetoro divorce papers?  Have you seen the legal documents where AKA reclaims his American citizenship?  If you have, you would be the first because no one else has.

AKA pledged, while campaigning, to be transparent.  That being the case, Mr Beck, why has AKA, as no other president before him, sealed every record that would divulge his past?  If AKA has nothing to worry about, has nothing to hide, why has he deliberately sealed his past from public view?

You have claimed those who have addressed the eligibility issue are a bunch of “idiots” hatched by the AKA camp to sideline more important issues.

If there is an “idiot,” it’s definitely not those you erroneously call “birthers.”

There is no issue more important to the very documents on which this nation was founded, than the question of AKA’s eligibility to the office of president.  If he is not our legitimate president, then every bill, every executive order, ever document he has signed is null and void, including the money appropriated to bail out his Wall Street buddies and benefactors.

And if he is not eligible to the office of president, a constitutional crisis exists.

You claim to stand for the Constitution.  You rail against graft and corruption; against dishonesty in government; against the bureaucracy that spins the truth.  Yet you believe that somehow, through all of that, and in the face of the evidence, the sealing of documents, the hiding of records, the scrubbing bubbles being applied to the internet to cleanse it of anything remotely connected to his past, that he is somehow telling the truth.

Are you really so naïve?

In the end, your vitriol aimed at those concerned that our constitution is being shredded really says more about you than about those you take aim at.  If there is anyone doing the bidding of the AKA camp, it isn’t those concerned about a man sitting in the Oval Office, occupying the White House, who does so in violation of the United States Constitution, placing this nation in peril and endangering the rights of every American, you included.

If there is one issue that is more important than any other, it is the issue of AKA’s eligibility to the office he holds.

Only those augmenting AKA’s Marxist agenda are complicit in keeping the eligibility issue pushed under the rug.

Note:  As of this posting, Glenn Beck has not responded; not that I expected he would.  Has Glenn Beck been threatened if he speaks on the eligibility issue as other radio and television personalities have apparently been threatened?  It would stand to reason that he has.  It also stands to reason that the almighty dollar is much more important to Glenn Beck than what is right.  And therein lies the problem most true patriots have with those who purport themselves to be leaders in the cause of liberty.

Postscript:  The issue of the two social security numbers known to have been used by AKA, one issued in Connecticut, the other in Michigan, also play into the equation.  If AKA is a legal citizen, why would he need to use social security numbers not issued to him?”

Senate cloture vote, December 21, 2009, 1:00 AM ET, Harry Reid, Ben Nelson, $470 billion Medicare cuts, $548 billion in new taxes next year

Jeff Schreiber does a great job over at America’s Right. Here is a great article about the rape of America that just took place while most of us were sleeping. Thanks Jeff.

“Is This For Real?

It’s 11:15 p.m. on a Sunday night. I’m in a king-size hotel room bed in Athens, GA with a snoozing wife and a three-year-old who is still singing “he sees you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake” despite the long, fun-filled day she had. It’s late. And, yet, on one side of my sister-in-law’s fancy MacBook Pro is a live stream from the floor of the United States Senate.

It’s 11:15 p.m. on a Sunday night. And Florida Sen. Bill Nelson is speaking, right now, on the floor about the Senate’s health care reform bill, which will be voted on in a little less than two hours from now. He’s talking about how private insurance companies will be forced to spend 85 cents out of every dollar on patient health care costs. Where, may I ask, does our federal government have the authority to mandate the capital structure of private companies? Where?

Why else would the lights even be on in the Capitol building unless our government is up to no good? This is legislation which will not even come into effect until 2014, two years after the next presidential election, and yet the Democrats feel it so essential to work through the night as the last weekend before Christmas comes to a close?

Most of America is fast asleep. Most of the people whom these senators represent, even if they wanted to pay attention, are sawing logs (probably not literally, though I’m sure there are a strange few) and catching winks in advance of a working Monday tomorrow. These people have no business whatsoever working right now. It might be different if they were burning the midnight oil in an attempt to save the nation with legislation that would have an immediate impact, but they are not — instead, they’re planning the destruction of our economy and health care system through legislation which will not take effect (other than the spending aspect of it) for another four years. If this is a great bill, if it is so necessary, and if the 60 percent or so of Americans who vigorously oppose it just don’t have their facts straight, then they should be debating it during the day, when most of America is awake and attentive.

12:06 a.m.

Tennessee Sen. Lamar Alexander made an excellent point — the reason they’re working now is because Harry Reid dropped a 400-page amendment on Friday, something that has been written and kept under the cover of darkness, and that they want to have it passed as part of the bill before Americans can figure out what’s in it.

I can count on the fingers of one hand when I’ve read 400 pages of anything in one day. One was Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park, which I read in the course of one night as a kid. Another was Bernie Goldberg’s Bias, which may not be 400 pages long, but was finished in the course of a single afternoon. Reading, digesting and researching 400 pages of legislative language in one day is nearly impossible.

Other things Alexander noted:
$470 billion over the next ten years will be cut out of Medicare, and about $1 trillion in total.
$548 billion in new taxes starting next year. So much for reducing joblessness. And the taxes on medical devices will be passed along to consumers, as will the increased regulation on private insurers, which will be passed along in the form of increased premiums. So much for reducing health care costs.

The CBO said that 9 million will lose employer-based insurance. So much for insuring everyone.
Changes the bi-partisan agreement not to federally fund abortion.

A political kamikaze mission toward an unfortunate mistake. Damaging to the Democrats, but worse for our country. Nicely put.”

“12:32 a.m.

Chris Dodd is up. I can’t even look at him, nonetheless listen to him, without getting irreversibly angry. The only time I want to see Christopher Dodd at 12:32 a.m., or frankly at any time of day, is if he’s wearing handcuffs. And not in a Barney Frank kind-of-way, either — I want to see Dodd being led into prison like Bernie Madoff.

More Ted Kennedy stuff. Good grief. If Ted Kennedy were a normal, everyday American in the aftermath of this legislation, he would have been cold and dead long before he passed with the benefit of the best health care that money can buy, the same health care innovation and ingenuity that the Democrats are poised to stifle, discourage and destroy.”

“12:54 a.m.

And, as if to show evidence of nothing good happening in Washington, D.C. at all, Harry Reid is up.

Every ten minutes, he says, another American dies because they don’t have health insurance. Oh, please. We have emergency rooms ready and able to care for illegal immigrants who have no identification, nonetheless insurance. What’s going to happen is that Americans are going to die because Democrats destroyed the American health care system. What’s going to happen is that Americans are going to die while waiting for six months for a biopsy.

I will dance a jig in my new living room next November when Fox News Channel calls the Nevada election for whomever is running against Reid. And then I’ll switch over to MSNBC–just for a moment–to watch them call it. In fact, I will keep champagne on ice to enjoy during his concession speech.

And, gosh darn it, health care is NOT a fundamental right. Freedom is a fundamental right, and what they are doing right now is destroying freedom in the name of the perpetuation of power.”

“1:08 a.m.

Here goes. Cloture on Reid’s amendment, and the vote which sets up a Christmas Eve vote on the destruction of American freedom and prosperity. I mean, seriously? They need to tear these people away from their families, just so Americans from coast to coast will be too busy eating dinner and enjoying their own families to notice?

Bayh is an “aye.” Burris is an “aye.” Byrd has been dusted off and wheeled in; he’s an “aye.” Bob Casey, supposedly a pro-life Democrat, is an “aye” to a bill which federally funds abortions. Susan Collins votes “no.”

Lieberman? Aye.

Lincoln? Aye.

Landrieu? Aye.

Nelson? Aye. Unreal.

Cloture passes by a vote of 60 to 40. At 1:18 a.m. Procedural votes will come at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday and 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The vote for final passage will come at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday night. That’s Christmas Eve. It seems America will be getting a lump of coal in her stocking this year, and from this year on.”

This is a must read and please pass this on:

From Michael Goldfarb of The Weekly Standard, 11:01 PM, December 16, 2009.

“20 GOP Senators Call for Investigation of Offutt Threat”

“Twenty Republican senators have requested that the Senate Armed Services Committee launch an investigation into reports that the Obama White House threatened to close Nebraska’s Offutt Air Force base unless Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson fell into line on health care. Those reports first appeared on this blog. In the letter to Senators Levin and McCain, the committee chairman and ranking member, the 20 ask that “a hearing be held as to whether the BRAC process has been compromised.”

Meanwhile, both Nelson and the White House strenuously deny the allegation. A statement from White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer asserts “This rumor is absolutely false, as the people spreading it well know. This is nothing but a cynical, crass political game that is designed to maintain the status quo. Let’s be clear: the people spreading these falsehoods think nothing is wrong with a system under which families and businesses continue to bear the brunt of skyrocketing costs, insurance companies are allowed to discriminate and drop at will, and thousands of Americans lose their coverage every single day.”

They protest a little too much. I do not know this story is “absolutely false.” To the contrary, I’m confident it’s true. Twenty senators are now calling for an investigation, and each is presumably pretty well sourced in the Senate. If the charges are “absolutely false,” maybe the White House will encourage Senate Democrats to call this Republican bluff. I won’t hold my breath.”

Obama just announced that if the Health Care Bill is not passed, the Federal  government will go bankrupt.

The lying SOB has let the cat out of the bag.

As you know, the bill begins taxing us immediately, but does not kick in benefits for approx 3 years.
What the usurper is really saying is that he needs the revenue to bail out his spending in time for the 2010, 2012 elections.

***  Just in, 1:02 PM ET, 12/17/09  ***

Obama just stated that the federal govt. will go bankrupt. Concurrently, Hillary Clinton just announced.

Mike Huckabee, Huckabee book tour, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Fox show, A Simple Christmas, Huckabee 2008 presidential run, Huckabee running in 2012?, Citizen comments for Huckabee, Republican candidate

“Oh, that God the gift would give us
To see ourselves as others see us”… Robert Burns

Mike Huckabee is on a 60 city tour to promote his new book, ”  A Simple Christmas.”  Friday, November 13, 2009, Governor Huckabee was at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Charlotte, NC to sign copies of his book. I shook hands with Mr. Huckabee and shared a few brief comments with him about this blog.

MikeHuckabeeWells1

To Governor Mike Huckabee from the Citizen Wells blog, concerned Americans across the nation.

Mr. Huckabee, you do seem to be a very nice man, there is a consenus of agreement on that, but you have offended many concerned Americans with your uninformed opinion on Obama’s eligibility issues and your stance on illegal aliens and other issues. Upholding the US Constitution and rule of law is the highest priority of the good people reading this blog as well as millions of other Americans. These are hard working, sincere Americans that do not fit neetly into compartments of birthers and right wing conservatives. This blog, like the tea party movement, represents Americans of all political parties, economic strata and religious persuasions. Your Pelosi like insults of those questioning Obama and his natural born citizen status were not taken lightly. I suggest you do some homework and listen. Even Lou Dobbs of CNN, the Communist News Network, acknowledged that the suspicious COLB presented by the Obama camp was just a piece of paper that referred to another piece of paper.

Last year Fox was the only network presenting any realistic coverage of issues surrounding Barack Obama. Sean Hannity and then Glenn Beck asked probing questions that the MSM ignored or glossed over. However, I critized Fox then for not covering controversial issues surrounding Obama. Some of those issues have now been addressed and still Fox has been hands off on the eligibility issue. Bill O’Reilly has bragged about grilling Obama in an interview last year, and perhaps, compared to the MSM, he did. However, many well informed Americans, including myself, believe O’Reilly gave Obama a free ride.

So Governor Huckabee, it is somewhat understandable why you were ill informed regarding Obama’s eligibility. However, ultimately, you should not have insulted well informed, concerned Americans who rightfully believe that Obama is not a natural born citizen. It is not too late. Below are comments from the good Americans of this blog. Some retired military, some with legal educations, but all genuinely care about this country.

“Huckabee might be a nice man but he is still a hypocrite. You can’t condone ILLEGAL immigration and open borders during a time of war while there are laws on the books going unfunded and unenforced. I would have more respect for him if he advocated compassionately deporting the ILLEGAL immigrants ASAP and hitting the employers with hefty fines while simultaneously changing the immigration laws so that more are allowed to enter every year but from the back of the line. If the families don’t want to be separated, the families go too until they get back in. No more anchor babies. Also, the radical Islamic jihadists are the first to go and it is just fine if the door hits them in the butt on the way out!

Oh, don’t forget that Huckabee is on record saying Obama is a citizen and born in Hawaii. Huckabee is either complicit in covering for Obama’s crimes via silence or too incomprehensibly negligent to be a candidate for the office of the POTUS and not have a legal research team to definitively determine his opponents’ eligibility when in question as obvious as it was. Remember, the BC is not the issue; it is the dual nationalities which Obama publicly admitted to before the election.”

“Great points, Pixel Patriot. Although there are
plusses with Huckabee, I did hear him go down
the complacent trail of citizen and Hawaii. I’m not hitching my wagon to anyone who does that.
Ba-bye Huck.”

“Huckabee was not my candidate in 2008 and I do not know if I could ever
vote for him.
However, he is intelligent and articulate and is not going away.
He appears to have opened his eyes on the Obama Camp and
he may be trainable.
Does he have the scruples he appears to have?
We will find out.”

“At the moment, my litmus test for the salvageableness of any office holder is the eligibility issue. If Huckabee today starts asking questions about o’s background and eligibility for office, I MIGHT move him from my “I want you our of our government immediately” list to my “okay, maybe not immediately, but you had REALLY better mean this” list.

Realistically, since, at the moment, no potential candidates seem to pass my test, I may have to revise my standards. Sigh. lol Story of my life.

I dunno, if we keep settling for the lesser of evils, will we ever get the good (with warts and all, of course)?”

“Huckabee isn’t my first choice. I would vote for him as the lesser of two evils, like I did McCain.

I did NOT like his stance on illegal aliens.”

“I do not trust Huckabee. There was a rape case or something in his home state and he let the guy out or something that really got some people worked up…THEY DID NOT WANT HIM TO ADVANCE.
Then,he did the Wal-Mart thing with illegals..pushing for DREAM ACT…etc…
Snake-oil salesman in my book.”

“Huckabee is a likable guy; soft-spoken and not apt to “go off the deep end,” but not POTUS material IMHO.

If he is complicit in the eligibility issue as many of you have said, then I cannot trust him to lead.

The “lesser of two evils” vote never appealed to me…that expression just irks me.

I am looking for the man/woman who is a proponent of the “greater good.”

They have to be more than willing to “talk the talk;” they will have to demonstrate to me they can “walk the walk.”

We need to vote in those who are willing to “fight” for the Constitution to be upheld, and the Declaration of Independence to be respected.
I am certain that will be easy to determine from what we already know.”

“I’m not interested in Mike Huckabee in any way, shape, or form.

Firstly, he is much too soft spoken. He sounds like a therapist. A person either has leadership qualities, or he doesn’t. Mike doesn’t.

Secondly, he is a typical republican.

Thirdly, he looks like Gomer Pyle.

Fourthly, I support Sarah Palin.”

“@ Citizenwells:

Heh, sorry. Sometimes I can get carried away.

Since the 2008 elections. I find that my patience is very thin for certain republicans. What really bugs me the most is that the GOP seems incapable of producing conservative leaders. I am very bothered by what seems to be the GOP’s intention to run the exact same failed candidates from 2008 as if they have learned nothing at all.

If they try to nominate McCain, Romney, or Huckabee again, I think my head may explode.

From my standpoint, Sarah Palin was the only bright spot from 2008.

Ideally, what I would like to see in a candidate is a true conservative fighter, and I really mean a fighter. Mike just comes across as too passive to me. Perhaps I am wrong.”

“Huckabee is likable but disingenous to me. What specifically turned me against him was his denial about Obama’s ineligibility to be president.

The man or woman who would be our next president will do so if He/she runs on the platform of restoring America to the republic under the Constitution, promising to challenge Obama’s sealed documents, tightening the borders, repealing the health care plan –if Senate passes it and redefining America as a Christian/Judeo country. In my observations I think Palin has the guts to do this. It also may well depend upon who runs with her and if she stays with the Republicans or creates a third party.”

“COUNT me as a NOOOOOOOOOOO.
We will Not settle for an appeaser and softy. We will not settle for a coneiver and one that conspired with McAmensty during teh election to SCREW Romeny and teh Republicans therefore getting us STUCK with a RINO who hushed, handcuffed and sabotaged his VP candidate and his own candidacy by sticking up MORE for BO than Palin. After the disaster of an INSURGENCY PRESIDENCY we need a STRONG CANDIDATE that we all can support and unite behind someone fromthe Reagan Wing of the Repuke Party otherwise lets start a new party.
Palin and DeMint or Bachmann are my Top Choices and we shoudl start organizing for them strating NOW.
Forget the DISRUPTERS which is what The Huckster is right along with his running mate McCain.

We need someone with Strong Conservative Principles that clearly has the character and the guts to Stand Firm, communicate clearly and take decisive actions. Someone that we will follow without doubts or REGRETS.

Palin, DeMint, Bachmann NO BODY ELSE right now. Even Romney is too weak as a Conservative even though I like him economically, but he has disappeared and that isn’t good.
Romney should run for Kennedy’s Senate seat and maybe in 2020 run for President”

Mike Huckabee, are you going to be a Statesman or a Politician?

We want our representatives to be nice and exercise protocol to the extent that it protects the American public.

John McCain was polite last year but he did not look after the interests of the public. We fault him for that.

Governor Huckabee, are you listening?

Governor Huckabee, will you do the right thing?

Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, November 17, 2009, Going Rogue, Rush loves Palin’s book, Sarah Palin on Rush Limbaugh show, Tuesday

Sarah Palin, Vice Presidential candidate in the 2008 election and author of a new book, “Going Rogue”,  will be on the Rush Limbaugh show on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Rush Limbaugh loves Palin’s new book and believes she should not be ruled out for the 2012 elections. Rush states:

“truly one of the most substantive policy books I’ve read.”

“This woman, Gov. Palin, clearly is jazzed by policy, particularly environmental policy and energy policy.”

Several weeks ago, Rush Limbaugh had this to say about Sarah Palin and her new book on the Greta Van Susteren Show.

Joe Wilson, SC representative Wilson, Obama speech, John McCain, Obama lies, protocol, Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler, Wilson calls Obama liar, Republicans, Democrats, Wilson pressured to apologize

Protocol

Be

Damned

Protocol, following societal norms, or marching lock step, prevented Adolf Hitler and the Japanese military from being stopped leading up to World War II. Just think, if there had been more people like SC representative Joe Wilson that had stood up and called Adolf Hitler a liar soon enough. One person for the good or evil can make a difference.

Last night, during Obama’s speech to Congress and the nation on health care reform, representative Joe Wilson called Obama a liar. Obama is a liar. That along with his Acorn thugs and other deception from the Obama camp allowed him to steal the election. More people should speak up and expose Obama for what he is.

Once again, I go back to the example of pre war Nazi Germany and compare it to the 2008 election cycle. Many Americans begged their state election officials and congressmen to speak up.

Protocol

Just imagine if one state election official, one elector, one congressman had spoken up. We would not have an illegal president trying to ramrod an unpopular health care bill down our throats. We would not have a multitude of radical, socialist, communist Czars guiding policy.

It is bad enough that our elected officials want to follow protocol, not make waves and be courteous to the opposing party. However, to criticize one for being patriotic and looking out for their constituents, that is cowardly and un American.

Apparently John McCain did not learn his lesson during the election campaign. He was more interested in following protocol and not questioning his opponent, Obama, than serving the American people.

John McCain said the following regarding Representative Wilson calling Obama a liar.

“totally disrespectful”

“no place for it in that setting or any other.”

“should apologize for it immediately.”

I want to be crystal clear about my reaction to McCain’s comments.

John McCain, your comments are cowardly, un American and show a great deal of disrespect to the American people!
Representative Joe Wilson, your comment last night deserves our respect and praise. Don’t let the protocol conscious jackasses make you back down.

Don’t back down!
I urge everyone to contact representative Joe Wilson and show your support. Urge him to continue to fight the lies from the Obama camp. Also, let John McCain and others that insulted Joe Wilson and pressured him to apologize, know what you think.

Representative Joe Wilson, God bless you.

Don’t back down!

Lou Dobbs, CNN, Obama birth certificate, July 17, 2009, Dobbs questions COLB, citizenwells.com

Lou Dobbs should have addressed the Obama eligibility last year along with the rest of the biased, irresponsible MSM, but better late than never. From Media Matters of all places:

“Dobbs repeatedly makes Obama birth certificate claims his CNN colleagues call “total bull”

July 17, 2009 7:26 pm ET “

“SUMMARY: Addressing an issue promoted by the far-right “birther” movement, Lou Dobbs repeatedly said on his radio show that President Obama needs to “produce a birth certificate” and that Obama’s birth certificate posted online has “some issues” — claims that have been dismissed and even ridiculed by his CNN colleagues.”

I put the Dobbs show audio on CitizenWells.com, which I have neglected due to being too busy.

Please excuse the website being under construction.

Listen to Lou Dobbs question Obama and his failure to provide a legitimate long form birth certificate.

John Coale, Sarah Palin, Greta Van Susteren, Washington Post article, Coale endorsed John McCain, Palin’s political image, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin

John Coale, the husband of Greta Van Susteren, is guiding the
political future of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. From the
Washington Post, March 17, 2009:

“So, who are the figures charged with guiding Palin’s political image in Washington? Here’s the lineup based on our conversations with informed strategists.

• John Coale: Coale, a well-known Washington lawyer and the husband of Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren, drew national media attention when he endorsed Sen. John McCain’s presidential bid in protest of the way in which Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, who he backed in the primary, was treated. Coale, in an interview with the Fix, described himself simply as a “friend” of the Alaska governor but acknowledged that he suggested she start a leadership PAC and helped her navigate through some of the questions surrounding her family that lingered after the campaign. Others familiar with Palin’s political team insist that Coale has far more power than he is letting on — essentially helping to run Sarah PAC. Coale demurred on that front, noting only that he talks to Palin regularly and that she is a “fascinating person” who is “definitely not what the right thinks or the left thinks.””
