John Coale, Sarah Palin, Greta Van Susteren, Washington Post article, Coale endorsed John McCain, Palin’s political image, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin

John Coale, the husband of Greta Van Susteren, is guiding the
political future of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. From the
Washington Post, March 17, 2009:

“So, who are the figures charged with guiding Palin’s political image in Washington? Here’s the lineup based on our conversations with informed strategists.

• John Coale: Coale, a well-known Washington lawyer and the husband of Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren, drew national media attention when he endorsed Sen. John McCain’s presidential bid in protest of the way in which Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, who he backed in the primary, was treated. Coale, in an interview with the Fix, described himself simply as a “friend” of the Alaska governor but acknowledged that he suggested she start a leadership PAC and helped her navigate through some of the questions surrounding her family that lingered after the campaign. Others familiar with Palin’s political team insist that Coale has far more power than he is letting on — essentially helping to run Sarah PAC. Coale demurred on that front, noting only that he talks to Palin regularly and that she is a “fascinating person” who is “definitely not what the right thinks or the left thinks.””

  1. B.O. is Greta and John Coale’s dream candidate , strange . Why would a leftist radical support Palin?.

  2. That’s funny. Last week Greta was saying that OTHER’s were saying, she had an “in” with the Palins.. people thought they were “friendly” and she categorically denied it.

On the other hand, my spouse has been involved professionally with other’s, and I am clueless as to their dealings.

  3. palin had her 15 minutes of fame

she didn’t get the job done

    time to move on

  4. guns and pilots

I believe she is a tough cookie and is just the reformer this country needs. I would love to see her run for President but I have my doubts because of the media malpractice performed on her in the past election!!! Greta’s husband has it right…..I doubt that any of us truly know what she is like seeing the butcher job the media performed on her simply to promote the USURPER…..now look what we are stuck with!!!

  7. I would like to see her as president. At least she knows more and is more responsible that zero. At least she is a natural born citizen who didn’t ex-patriate. I hope that one of these days they can finally find a way to oust zero. I am tired of all the bad stuff he is doing to our country and how he is redirecting anger at private citizens instead of taking the rap for himself. He is very irresponsible and incompetent.

  8. I think she could have gain ground when asked about Obama to say he needs to clear the air about his eligibility. Some one, prominent, just needs to start asking questions!

  9. John Coale did 2 big jobs for clinton. Made the part played by John Travolta(A Scientologist) less offensive in “Primary Colors”and helped the Scientologist get a more favourable rating in Germany.

  10. OK FOLKS- HERE IS THE GROUP – DATE & WHERE WE SHOULD MEET ON MAY 24th.WE WILL HAVE 500,000 MEMBERS THERE ALREADY.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It wouldn’t matter what Palin says…the press has brutalized her so much that they would just write her off as another crazy tin foiler…it is not her responsibility….if anyone it should be John McCain or any other responsible Senator. You can’t pass this off onto Palin….she doesn’t reside in Congress!!!

  14. well, in the time context i sent it she could have acted because it was during the election, and she could have , as governor of her state, order her AG to look into it.

    but she didn’t

alas….and then she followed up with some bogus spinning out of control response.

I contacted her several times too…but I still say her speaking out on the issues would not and will not have any political or judicial weight concerning BO’s eligbility issues!!

  16. How do you know that she wasn’t allowed to do anything about this during the campaign? She was handcuffed from the git go by the party heads. I think it’s amazing she spoke out as much as she did. Now she must be very smart about what she does if she has any thoughts of running for a national office in the future. Her credibility was and still is being attacked visciously by the left and Dem party because they know she would be a major player for the American people. They can not take the chance that a real, honest, hardworking, organized and knowledgeable, candidate is out there. She represents their worst nightmare and they will try to crush her at every turn. Therefore , she must proceed with caution and careful planning. I sure hope she gets the best team in place and can run again.
