From Americans for Prosperity, December 18, 2009, Obama speaks and panders to his socialist, communist comrades in Copenhagen.
Today, President Obama is at the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. This morning he spoke from the same podium that Venezuelan socialist strongman Hugo Chavez used to decry the “silent and terrible ghost” of capitalism – to declare that “capitalism is the road to hell.”
The enraptured global warming radicals at the Copenhagen conference rewarded Chavez with a standing ovation for his anti-freedom diatribe, telling us everything we need to know about the modern radical environmental movement headed by Al Gore.
If you have any doubt that many global warming extremists are self-proclaimed communists and socialists – CLICK HERE for an AFP video showing these extremists marching through the streets of Copenhagen.
President Obama had an opportunity to stand up and defend the economic freedoms of our great nation, which have made America the greatest and most prosperous on earth.
Instead, he chose to pander to his adoring supporters abroad, saying: “America will fulfill the commitments that we have made: cutting our emissions in the range of 17 percent by 2020, and by more than 80 percent by 2050 in line with final legislation.”
Clearly, President Obama wants to join these radicals in signing a binding international treaty that will bring cap-and-trade-style energy taxes and energy rationing to our nation.
As you know, we were in Copenhagen last week for a briefing we beamed back live to 24 grassroots events across the United States (from Billings, Montana to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and in between). Thousands more watched from home or work on our AmericansforProsperity.org website.
Without a doubt the most frustrating moment of the Copenhagen trip was sitting in the American pavilion at the convention center as Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency head, Lisa Jackson, gleefully touted the EPA’s new finding declaring that carbon dioxide endangers human health and welfare. The room full of mostly Europeans applauded wildly.
Ms. Jackson’s introducer, the U.S. ambassador to Denmark, talked about all she had done as in the director of New Jersey’s state EPA. What irony…New Jersey has one of the worst economies in the nation – people are really hurting – in part due to Lisa Jackson’s job-killing heavy-handed regulatory policies. Now the Obama administration hopes she “does for the United States what she did for New Jersey.”
So far, Americans for Prosperity activists have logged more than 13,000 comments telling EPA to obey its mandate and leave climate legislation to the people’s elected representatives. If you haven’t taken action yet, click here to help stop EPA’s power grab before the December 28th deadline.
We face a long hard fight to overturn or at least mitigate the potentially devastating impact of this EPA “finding” in coming months and years. Speaking in carefully coded environmental-speak, Ms. Jackson discussed what her 18,000 EPA bureaucrats have in mind for small businesses, large corporations and even families. We must and we will hold Congress responsible if they fail to stop what the EPA is trying to do.
I talked to many individual environmental leaders and activists from Greenpeace, Sierra Club, World Wildlife Fund, members of the U.S. delegation, EPA bureaucrats, and activists from other smaller groups. They’re true believers. In their view only the government can step in and “fix” this problem by forcing individuals to dramatically change their lives, to pay more taxes for the privilege of using energy or creating jobs. Capitalism is THE culprit in their morality tale. Those with a different view are dismissed as ignorant simpletons or denounced as greedy robber barons who must be stopped.
There is no room for compromise in their world.
If we’re going to protect our freedoms and preserve a free market that has pulled generations from the muck and misery of grinding poverty, then we are going to have to defeat them in the public arena.
The good news – the American public agrees with us. Every poll shows support for cap-and-trade policies going downhill. The legislation is dead for this year, after most pundits thought it a done deal earlier this year.
The bad news – from what I saw firsthand in Copenhagen – our opponents have nearly unlimited financial resources, committed grassroots troops of their own, and deeply entrenched organizations that think strategically and act aggressively.
We’ve got to be innovative, aggressive, confident, strategic and on message. Most of all – we have to fight each and every day.
And, that’s exactly what we’re going to do.
Barack Obama, the narcissist, liar, illegal, usurper occupant of the White House, believes that he deserves a grade of B plus for his performance. If he truly believes this, he is also still using drugs.
From David Limbaugh, December 14, 2009.
“If B’s Were F’s, Obama Still Wouldn’t Deserve a B-Plus”
“It’s bad enough for America that President Barack Obama is a committed far-left ideologue, but when you couple that with his narcissism, you’ve got a recipe for a major disaster.
He told Oprah Winfrey he deserves “a good solid B-plus” for his first year in office. The only things standing in his way for that coveted A are — for the most part — other people, such as evil Republicans who oppose socialized medicine.
It’s obvious that Obama is as self-absorbed as he is delusional. While most Americans are worried about the financial destruction of our country and our resulting inability to bequeath our heirs a land of liberty, Obama is fretting over the stresses the job is placing on him.
“The biggest burden on me right now is that economic growth has happened, but job growth has not happened.” Note the “burden on me.” Similarly, he said his painfully belabored decision to send 30,000 additional troops to Afghanistan hit him “in the gut.”
Obama insists economic growth has returned and job recovery is just a matter of time, but many are not so sure of either. But all are sure that his unwavering debt path is unsustainable and suicidal.
When the George W. Bush economy was humming for almost eight years, Obama and his media friends gave Bush no credit because, they said, we were experiencing “jobless growth.” These partisan charlatans characterized 4.5 percent unemployment as “joblessness.” What does that make 10 percent — especially in light of Obama’s promise to keep it less than 8 percent?
Shouldn’t Obama be held to the same standard that he and his liberal friends set for President Bush? A June 10, 2007, editorial by George F. Will had it just right: “In 2002, when (Bush’s) tax cuts kicked in and the economy began 65 months — so far — of uninterrupted growth, critics said: But it is a ‘jobless recovery,’ (even though) the unemployment rate steadily declined (to) 4.5 percent.””
“How he can give himself credit for Iraq is beyond comprehension. He vigorously opposed the surge, which everyone acknowledges turned the war around, and he steadfastly refused to admit he was wrong. Our withdrawal from Iraq is only possible because wiser heads prevailed. As for Afghanistan, he ultimately made the right decision to listen to the generals — partially. He refused to send the number of troops they requested, demoralized our forces and emboldened the enemy in needlessly delaying his decision, and telegraphed our lukewarm commitment to the war by setting a short-term withdrawal date just as he was increasing troop deployments.
How about Obama’s restoration of America’s image? Well, he’s gone around the world telling people how terrible we are — not exactly the smartest PR move. He’s consistently insulted our greatest ally, Britain; a Wall Street Journal article this week notes that he snubbed Britain by failing to mention its support in Afghanistan while touting nations offering less support. He disses our ally Israel, treating it as a terrorist nation and demanding that it unilaterally cease settlements in a portion of its own land.
And how about Obama’s promotion of cap and trade in the midst of ClimateGate, his refusal to back down on Obamacare despite 56 percent public opposition, and his plan to spend the billions of TARP repayments while the nation is on the brink of bankruptcy from his spending?”
“Propaganda must not serve the truth, especially not insofar
as it might bring out something favorable for the opponent.”… Adolf Hitler
You were warned.
The Citizen Wells blog, beginning early in 2008, warned of the similartities between the Obama camp and Nazi Germany. A simple search here on “Nazi” “Hitler” will yield the articles. It comes as no surprise to anyone paying attention, that the Obama camp followers, the far left wackos who embrace the religion of earth and earth quasi science worship, are playing out their Hitler youth inspired roles.
Recently, Tim Phillips of Americans for Prosperity, was attempting to deliver a live webcast from Copenhagen on climate change skepticism. Philips was confronted by modern day Hitler Youth.
Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science advisor to Lady Margaret Thatcher, was in attendance. Monckton stated:
“This is a rather childish demonstration by people who do not believe in free speech,”
“You are listening now to the shouts in the background of the Hitler youth.”
“the protestors have no understanding of the science surrounding the debate on climate change”
From a YouTube video:
“US Youth delegates to the Copenhagen Climate Negotiations crash climate denier live webcast in Copenhagen and are called “hitler youth” by Lord Christopher Monckton at an Americans for Prosperity event. American youth attended to demand a safe and sustainable energy future that provides millions of clean energy jobs for Americans.”
Why are so many young people being led astray to embrace false religions and causes?
Where do many of these impressionable youth get their notions?
The obvious answer is in colleges and universities.
I have not had many reasons to laud the Charlotte Observer in the past several years. They embraced the change of Barack Obama early in 2008 and did little to serve their readership. However, much to my surprise and delight, on Monday, November 30, 2009, they printed an article on the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution titled “Truths are ‘self-evident'” that provided a glimpse into the attitudes of many professors.
“Through a carefully written constitution, the Founders – Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Hamilton, Madison and the rest – created an enduring framework of limited government based on the rule of law. With this structure, the Founders sought to establish religious freedom, provide for economic opportunity, secure national independence and maintain a flourishing society of republican self-government – all in the name of the simple but radical idea of human liberty.
The founding of the United States was indeed revolutionary, but not in the sense of replacing one set of rulers with another or overthrowing the institutions of society. What was revolutionary were the ideas upon which the new nation would be built: permanent truths “applicable to all men and all times,” as Abraham Lincoln later said. The ultimate ground of government would be principle rather than will.
In America, for the first time anywhere, these universal ideas became the foundation of a system of government and its political culture. Because of these principles, the American Revolution culminated in a constitutional government rather than a new tyranny.
To this day, the principles proclaimed in the Declaration of Independence and put into action by the Constitution still define us as a nation and inspire us as a people. And they are responsible for our unmatched prosperity and justice.
Unfortunately, few of our learned elites – especially our university professors who teach the next generation, shape popular culture and set the terms of political discourse – teach the self-evident truths that animated the Founders. Instead, they passionately embrace and pass on a more “modern” belief: No such truths exist. Certainly no truths applicable to all time, anyway.”
“Amid many challenges – unsustainable federal spending and skyrocketing debt, the burden of entitlement programs, national security in a dangerous world – the real crisis that tears at the American soul is not a lack of courage or solutions. From the decline of civic education to the rise of dependency on government, our societal problems are rooted in a deep confusion about the meaning of America’s core principles.”
“Your hard work all summer deserves some love from national celebrities and experts–from people who really know to turn on a crowd. We didn’t really go out and get these people as much as they came in and got us.
Pat Dollard has spent a huge chunk of his adult life living in combat zones. His documentary movie “Young Americans” premieres on Thanksgiving Day. He’s here in St. Louis to tell the Tea Party about the men and women on the front lines of the war on terror, the dedication and terror they face, and the Hollywood left who HATE DOLLARD for LOVING WARRIORS. In his own words:
I had about 15 employees, a wife, a daughter, and no one believed I was going to lock horns with Al Qaeda, especially because my only motivations were to keep more American civilians from dying, and to honor those who were already risking their lives for that very reason. Who does such a thing? But go I did, and like Kurtz, when I got back from the first three months, I sold the house, sold the kids, sold the car. Well, not the car. I love my H2. But I got out of the Hollywood agenting game, at a cost of about $10,000,000.00 in future income. And I had no savings. But I had to go back, to finish the work, to finish the story. There was nothing in the civilian world that provided the same sense of purpose. There was never a time when I felt like my life had much of a purpose, other than making money and indulging myself. Except for parenting. But some of us find jobs to be done that demand we not be home. I did.
Pat Dollard’s ACTIVE action teams have been INSTRUMENTAL in St. Louis’s summer of resistance. Let’s thank Pat for his work for the troops and his work for freedom.”
Representative David Obey and Senator Carl Levin, both Democrats, want a new tax to pay for additional troops in Afghanistan. We already have another asshole Democrat, Barack Obama, who is supposed to be Commander in Chief, who is politicizing the war.
Sorry about the asshole reference, but since it is the truth, that is what I promised.
General Stanley McChrystal, handpicked by Obama, requested 40,000 more troops 3 months ago.
From Fox News, November 24, 2009.
“Lawmakers Propose ‘War Surtax’ to Pay for Troop Increase in Afghanistan”
“Rep. David Obey, D-Wis., and Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., are proposing new taxes to pay for more U.S. troops in Afghanistan.”
“Two top Democrats say they want to impose a new tax on the wealthy to finance any increase in U.S. troops for the Afghanistan war.
Rep. David Obey, D-Wis., chairman of the purse string-controlling House Appropriations Committee, is calling the idea a “war surtax.” He said that just as the federal government is expected to pay for its proposed intervention in the health care sector with new taxes, any escalated involvement in Afghanistan should come with a payment plan.
“If we have to pay for the health care bill, we should pay for the war as well … by having a war surtax,” Obey told ABC News in an interview that aired Monday. “The problem in this country with this issue is that the only people that has to sacrifice are military families and they’ve had to go to the well again and again and again and again, and everybody else is blithely unaffected by the war.”
Sen. Carl Levin, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, is making a similar demand.
President Obama plans to hold his ninth meeting Monday evening with his national security team to discuss options for overhauling the strategy in Afghanistan. The president has been considering requests for tens of thousands more U.S. troops from his top commander, Gen. Stanley McChrystal, for nearly three months. He is not expected to announce his new strategy before Thanksgiving.
But any request would likely come with a hefty price tag. One option presented by McChrystal would bring 40,000 more troops into Afghanistan — a proposal estimated to cost about $40 billion, according to the Office of Management and Budget.
Obey said if an increase like that is approved without any payment mechanism, then other domestic initiatives would be wiped out. ”
So, let me get this straight. The Democrats, led by Obama, Pelosi and Reid, are trying to ram an unpopular, costly health care bill down our throats. They are trying to implement a Cap and Trade bill based on documented liberal lies. Obama has delayed a decision on sending troops to Afghanistan for three months. And now these low life, socialists want to further politicize the war.
The recent leaked emails from East Anglia University in the UK came as no surprise to me or many others who chose to question Global Warming myths and pseudo science. I have a math/science background and possibly more importantly, I am from NC and many of us have built in BS detectors. When confronted with numbers and theories that appeared absurd, I did some real research and reported on this blog. Watch the following video from a real scientist and then visit or revisit articles presented here going back to February of 2008. “Climategate: Dr. Tim Ball on the hacked CRU emails”
Frem a speech given by Keith O. Rattie, Chairman, President and CEO of Questar Corporation, on April 2, 2009, at the 22nd Annual UVU Symposium on Environmental Ethics, held at Utah Valley University. Reported here, May 15, 2009
“My perspective on global warming changed when I began to understand the limitations of the computer models that scientists have built to predict future warming. If the only variable driving the earth‟s climate were manmade CO2 then there‟d be no debate – global average temperatures would increase by a harmless one degree over the next 100 years. But the earth‟s climate is what engineers call a “non-linear, dynamic system”. The models have dozens of inputs. Many are little more than the opinion of the scientist – in some cases, just a guess.”
“Another example, water vapor is a far more potent greenhouse gas than CO2. [The media now calls CO2 a “pollutant”. If CO2 is a “pollutant” then water vapor is also a “pollutant” – that‟s absurd, but I digress]. Some scientists believe clouds amplify human CO2 forcing, others believe precipitation acts as the earth‟s thermostat. But scientists do not agree on how to model clouds, precipitation, and evaporation, thus there‟s no consensus on this fundamental issue.”
“But the reality for American consumers is that whether you buy that the science is settled or not, the political science is settled. With the media cheering them on, Congress has promised to “do something”. CO2 regulation is coming, whether it will do any good or not. Indeed, President Obama‟s hope of shrinking the now the massive federal budget deficit depends on vast new revenues from a tax on carbon energy – so called “cap and trade”. Harry Reid has promised cap and trade legislation by August.” Cap and trade, Global warming, Fact vs Fiction
From the Citizen Wells blog, March 10, 2008
“So, what is hampering our oil production. Environmental wackos. Let’s take Alaska for example. Of course, they always bring up environmental impact. But they also bring up animals like polar bears and whales. They use pseudo science of global warming and terms like may and could cause. They consistently use false data and science. I hear talk of polar bears becoming extinct almost every day when in fact their numbers have increased. Alleged receding ice will fundamentally have no impact on their numbers.” Always follow the money
From the Citizen Wells blog, March 10, 2008
“Weather Channel founder John Coleman is calling global warming a fraud and says the station he founded needs to stop telling people what to think about climate change.”
“One of it’s meteorologists suggested two years ago that weathercasters who have doubts about global warming should lose their certification. Coleman advocates suing people who sell carbon credits — including Al Gore — because the attention in the courts could, in his words, “put some light on the fraud of global warming.”” John Coleman on Al Gore Global Warming lies
From the Citizen Wells blog, February 28, 2008
“Global warming is not equivalent to climate change. Significant, societally important climate change, due to both natural- and human- climate forcings, can occur without any global warming or cooling.”
“In terms of climate change and variability on the regional and local scale, the IPCC Reports, the CCSP Report on surface and tropospheric temperature trends, and the U.S. National Assessment have overstated the role of the radiative effect of the anthropogenic increase of CO2 relative to the role of the diversity of other human climate climate forcing on global warming, and more generally, on climate variability and change.”
“Global and regional climate models have not demonstrated skill at predicting regional and local climate change and variability on multi-decadal time scales.” R.A. Pielke Sr. provides a balanced view of climate science
Common sense goes a long way where I come from and the numbers and peudo science from the likes of Al Gore never made sense. I also checked some real data from time to time like summer temperatures in Antarctica.

Sarah Palin, former vice presidential candidate, and now author of a new book, “Going Rogue”, was interviewed by Rush Limbaugh today, Tuesday, November 17, 2009.
Here are some exerpts from the transcripts:
“RUSH: We are going to open this hour with a rare personal interview, a rare guest. It doesn’t happen much on this program, but we are happy to have with us former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, whose book, Going Rogue, hits the shelves today and it’s already headed for I think a record in sales. Governor Palin, thanks for making time. It’s great to talk to you again. We spoke last Thursday in an interview for the Limbaugh Letter, but it’s great to have you here on the radio.
GOV. PALIN: Hey, thank you so much, and dittos from an Alaskan.
RUSH: Where are you, by the way? Where are we speaking to you from?
GOV. PALIN: In a hotel room in New York City. I’m going to do a couple of interviews after that and then head to Grand Rapids for the kickoff of the book tour.
RUSH: This is going to be exciting. Are you looking forward to that?
GOV. PALIN: I am so looking forward to this. I cannot wait to meet some of these good Americans all across this country. It’s going to be a blast.
RUSH: They can’t wait to meet you, judging by the reception you got during the campaign. Now, ladies and gentlemen, Governor Palin, when we spoke last Thursday I spoke to her a lot about the things in her book regarding the campaign. That stuff you’ll read in the Limbaugh Letter, and I predicted to Governor Palin then that much of her book would be ignored in light of the dirt that she was supposedly dishing from the campaign. So Governor Palin what I’d like to do here is go some different directions from what we did in the newsletter interview and start with the economy. We have 10.2% unemployment. We see no end in sight. The administration and others are suggesting next year could be just as bad with unemployment going up to 11%. What would you do differently than is being done now?
GOV. PALIN: It’s over 10%, and in fact it could be closer to 17 or 18 when you consider those who have kind of given up and are not applying for unemployment benefits. So it’s bad, it’s really bad and then of course Fed Chair Bernanke announced that there are still weak job prospects for the very short term and probably long term, and that’s an uncomfortable place for our country to be. What we need to do is shift gears and really head in another direction because what we’re doing right now with the Fed, it’s not working. We need to cut taxes on the job creators. This is all about jobs, creating jobs. We have to ramp up industry here in America, and of course reduce the federal debt, quit piling on and growing more. But those commonsense solutions there, especially with the cutting taxes on the job creators, that’s not even being discussed. In fact, increased taxes is the direction it sounds like Obama wants to go.
RUSH: You mean that you don’t even hear it being discussed on the Republican side or within the administration?
GOV. PALIN: Within the administration, and as it is discussed on the Republican side, Republicans need to be bolder about it. Independents need to be bolder about that solution that has got to be considered and plugged in. This is the only solution that will be successful. We need to rehash some history that proves its success. Let’s go back to what Reagan did in the early eighties and stay committed to those commonsense free market principles that worked. He faced a tougher recession than what we’re facing today. He cut those taxes, ramped up industry, and we pulled out of that recession. We need to revisit that.
RUSH: Why do you think this administration is ignoring that blueprint? What is their ultimate objective here? They’re sitting in the middle of abject failure of their number-one stated goal, and that’s job creation. So what are they really trying to do here do you think?
GOV. PALIN: Well, you wonder, you wonder because history proves what will work and you wonder if they’re realizing that and if it’s just perhaps a stubbornness at this point that they are so committed to going down this road of growing government and interjecting the Feds’ control in the private sector more and more, which will prove to be more failure. I don’t know if it’s obstinate thinking that they’re engaged in right now or if they truly just do not believe what the free market, free enterprise economic solutions are that built up this country.
RUSH: Do you think this is going to be a major issue in the congressional elections in 2010, and if so, how would you advise Republicans to pursue it?
GOV. PALIN: It better be a major issue, absolutely. Of course, national security will be, too, and hopefully we’ll talk a little bit about some of the decisions being made in that arena that cause so many of us concern but, yeah, the economy, that’s what it’s going to be because it’s all about jobs, it’s all about Americans who are hurting right now and what those solutions are that are so obvious, so commonsense that need to be plugged in. And those are Republican, they’re commonsense conservative principles that we just need to apply.
RUSH: New York-23 is being portrayed as a race in which you and I — because we supposedly went up there — handpicked Doug Hoffman, he supposedly lost, even though that race, they still haven’t finished counting the votes. It’s two weeks! This is not Chicago. They haven’t finished counting the votes. He says he wishes he could un-concede now. But they’re trying to diminish conservatism, and I think in the process intimidate the Republican Party from going in that direction. What’s your read on New York-23?
GOV. PALIN: I think this is exciting. It’s encouraging. No matter the outcome even with his recount of some of those, well, uncounted ballots, it’s exciting that the race is going to be even closer, and it’s a clearer and clearer picture that what Americans are seeking, even in a district there in New York, they are seeking commonsense, conservative solutions to all the challenges that we’re facing. I’m glad to see this.
RUSH: So the positive thing there is that the Republican Party was rebuffed in nominating essentially a RINO, a liberal?
GOV. PALIN: Well, I think what you saw there is — and of course it’s not just the Republican machine, it’s the Democrat machine, too. You know, if you’re not the anointed one within the machine, sometimes you have a much tougher row to hoe and that’s what Hoffman faced. He was the underdog. I think great timing for him, though, to stand strong on his conservative credentials and essentially come out of nowhere and prove that an American without that resume, without that machine backing can truly make a difference in an election like this.
RUSH: Well, now, you used the term, “If you’re not the anointed one by the party machine, you’re the underdog and you have a tough row to hoe.” Based on things that I read, the Republican establishment would not anoint you to be a nominee of their party should you choose to go that way. I’m not asking you the question because I know you’re not going to answer and give away what your plans are in 2012.
GOV. PALIN: (chuckles)
RUSH: Do you consider yourself one of these unanointed ones within your own party?
GOV. PALIN: Well, to some in both parties, politics is more of a business. It’s not so much a commitment to an agenda or a person or values or issues. It’s more of a business — and, no, I’m not a part of that. So if they’re going to keep using that way of thinking in their decisions on who they anoint, who they will support or not then, no. I’ll never be a part of that. But hopefully we’re going to see a shift with independents, with the Republican Party and the Democrat Party, and we’re going to get back to what the issues are, what really matters, and then hopefully we’re going to go from there, which will be much fairer to the electorate.
RUSH: All right, independents, slash, third party. A lot of people — mistakenly, in my view — are looking at New York-23 as evidence that, see, a third party could actually do well. But that’s not a good example because there was no primary there. As you said, the party bosses chose Dede Scozzafava on the Republican side and a Democrat. Had there been a primary, New York-23 would not have been constituted as it was. So what are your thoughts now on the viability of a third party if the Republican Party can’t be brought around?
GOV. PALIN: You know, to be brutally honest, I think that it’s a bit naive when you talk about the pragmatism that has to be applied in America’s political system. And we are a two-party system. Ideally, sure, a third party or an independent party would be able to soar and thrive and put candidates forth and have them elected, but I don’t think America is ready for that. I think that it is… Granted it’s quite conventional and traditional, but in a good way that we have our two parties, and I think that that’s what will remain. And I say that, though, acknowledging that I’m not an obsessive panther, I understand why people — good people like my own husband — refuse to register in a party. Todd’s not a Republican and yet he’s got more commonsense conservatism than a whole lot of Republicans that I know because he is one who sees the idiosyncrasies of the characters within the machine and it frustrates him along with a whole lot of other Americans who choose to be independent. But in answer to your question, I don’t think that the third party movement will be what’s necessary to usher in some commonsense conservative ideals.”
“THE TEA PARTY EXPRESS SENDING
DELEGATION TO WASHINGTON!
We’ve tipped you off to the fact that we have a lot of big announcements to make, and here’s one more to add to the list (and there are many more to come in these next few days).
As you know, last week Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann put out the call to patriots across the country to head to Washington, D.C. this Thursday, 12:00 Noon for a press conference and rally on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
Well, friends, we are answering her call! The goal: to defeat Nancy Pelosi’s government-run, socialistic healthcare plan.
During this time we’ve been collecting thousands upon thousands of letters at each of our Tea Party Express rallies across the nation.
Tomorrow we will be flying out two leaders of the Tea Party Express from the middle of our tour to Washington, D.C. with those letters – and they will be carrying your message to the politicians in D.C. Those two representatives will be the great tea party activist, Amy Kremer, and Tea Party Express Co-Chair, Deborah Johns.
Then on Friday, Mark Williams – our other Co-Chair of the Tea Party Express, will be flying out to Washington to follow up that effort – including an appearance on the nationally syndicated “America’s Morning News” radio program hosted by Melanie Morgan and John McCaslin.
This will all be taking place as the Tea Party Express II: Countdown to Judgment Day tour continues – building more and more momentum as we cross the nation.
We continue to ask for your support for the Tea Party Express as we cross the country for the next 12 days. As we keep incurring more and more costs – to expand this effort – we ask for your support by making a donation to the Tea Party Express effort.
You can make a contribution – HERE.
Or, you can mail in a contribution to our headquarters:

What a fantastic rally in Rapid City, South Dakota!
After our great rally in Bozeman, MT we made up some of the distance to Rapid City, SD by driving a ways to Billings, MT.
It was Halloween night and we were sick of the ‘tricks’ being played on “We The People” by the politicians. The next morning we had a long drive across Montana, Wyoming and into South Dakota – in a land where cell phone towers are few and far between. That meant no Internet access and no cell phone access.
We arrived at our venue at the Central States Fairgrounds and had a fantastic event in their rodeo hall. Here are some pics for you all to enjoy:”
The Tea Party Express II will be in one of my favorite parts of the country today, Northern California and Southern Oregon. Redding, CA and Medford, OR will be the site of Tea Party protests today, October 29, 2009.
Here are some reports from recent Tea Party Express II protests in California and Nevada.
Hello from Walnut Creek, CA – a community in the East Bay of the San Francisco metropolitan area. So in the sea of liberalism stood an island of patriotic Americans rallying together today united in the effort to advance the tea party movement.”
“There’s also a crucial Congressional Special Election coming up here on November 3rd which features David Harmer (a Republican who strongly opposes government-run healthcare) up against California Lieutenant Governor, John Garamendi (a Democrat who is a big advocate of government-run healthcare and the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda of big government, bailouts, higher taxes and out-of-control spending).
Harmer spoke at this evening’s rally to an enthusiastic crowd – perhaps the most enthusiastic crowd we’ve had since the kickoff event in San Diego, CA. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy – we sure enjoyed the great people of Walnut Creek:”
CNN’s Jon King interviewed Tea Party Express Vice Chair, Mark Williams, about the “Tea Party Express II: Countdown to Judgment Day.”
A relatively fair interview with CNN’s King asking questions and allowing the Tea Party Express’s Mark Williams to respond. There’s some good stuff in this interview, friends!”
“The Tea Party Express national bus tour will host a series of tea party rallies all across the nation from coast-to-coast and border-to-border. The effort will begin in San Diego, California on October 25th and travel eastward, building momentum as the tour reaches its final destination: a giant rally in Orlando, Florida on November 12th.
The tour comes exactly one-year before the November 2010 elections – and this will serve as a “Countdown to Judgment Day” for our elected officials. Those who are not serving in the nation’s best interest will be put on notice: we’re going to hand you a pink slip!
At each stop the tour will highlight some of the worst offenders in Congress who have voted for higher spending, higher taxes, and government intervention in the lives of American families and businesses. These Members of Congress have infringed upon the freedom of the individual in this great nation, and its time for us to say: “Enough is Enough!”
The “Tea Party Express” tour will feature leaders in the anti-tax, conservative, tea party movement along with musical performances of “American Tea Party Anthem” and “A Bailout Song” at each tea party event. The tour delegation includes:”

I received this in an email this morning, October 23, 2009:
HELP US MAKE A FOOL OUT OF KEITH OLBERMANN !!!
Last night Keith Olbermann launched into a tirade against the Tea Party Express II: Countdown to Judgment Day. Olbermann and other liberals are quite unhappy that We The People are rising up to take our country back from the liberal tax-spend-bailout politicians.
Olbermann’s central point of mockery of the Tea Party Express was that no one would show up at our rallies, and no one was signing up for our Facebook page. Watch Olbermann’s rant against the Tea Party Express and then find out how you can fight back and help us make a fool out of Keith Olbermann:
Help us make a fool out of Keith OIbermann and prove him wrong! Help us turn out huge crowds all across the country. One way we’re doing that is by ramping up our TV and radio advertising campaign to get the word out to millions of Americans to come join our Tea Party Express rallies.
Time is running out – we have only 3 DAYS until the launch of the Tea Party Express II. So we urgently need your help now!
Help us raise money for our advertising campaign to turn out huge crowds by making the most generous contribution you can afford – HERE.
Or, you can mail in a contribution to our headquarters:
Our Country Deserves Better CommitteeATTN: Tea Party Project770 L Street #1020Sacramento, CA 95814
The maximum allowed contribution is $5,000 per individual. Most of you will be able to afford less than that. Whatever you contribute, whether it’s $25 or $50 or $100, or a more generous contribution of $250, $500 or $1,000 or more. The maximum allowed contribution is $5,000 and we are most grateful for your support.
More information on the Tea Party Express can be seen in our new TV video:
If you liked what we did with the first Tea Party Express you’re going to love what we have in store for our second effort. It’s going to be even bigger and better yet!
So please lend us your support. You can contribute online right now – HERE.
Thank you again for your support. We’ve got a lot of work to do to take our country back, and we couldn’t do it without you!
