Today, President Obama is at the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. This morning he spoke from the same podium that Venezuelan socialist strongman Hugo Chavez used to decry the “silent and terrible ghost” of capitalism – to declare that “capitalism is the road to hell.”
The enraptured global warming radicals at the Copenhagen conference rewarded Chavez with a standing ovation for his anti-freedom diatribe, telling us everything we need to know about the modern radical environmental movement headed by Al Gore.

President Obama had an opportunity to stand up and defend the economic freedoms of our great nation, which have made America the greatest and most prosperous on earth.
Instead, he chose to pander to his adoring supporters abroad, saying: “America will fulfill the commitments that we have made: cutting our emissions in the range of 17 percent by 2020, and by more than 80 percent by 2050 in line with final legislation.”
Clearly, President Obama wants to join these radicals in signing a binding international treaty that will bring cap-and-trade-style energy taxes and energy rationing to our nation.
As you know, we were in Copenhagen last week for a briefing we beamed back live to 24 grassroots events across the United States (from Billings, Montana to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and in between). Thousands more watched from home or work on our AmericansforProsperity.org website.
Without a doubt the most frustrating moment of the Copenhagen trip was sitting in the American pavilion at the convention center as Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency head, Lisa Jackson, gleefully touted the EPA’s new finding declaring that carbon dioxide endangers human health and welfare. The room full of mostly Europeans applauded wildly.
Ms. Jackson’s introducer, the U.S. ambassador to Denmark, talked about all she had done as in the director of New Jersey’s state EPA. What irony…New Jersey has one of the worst economies in the nation – people are really hurting – in part due to Lisa Jackson’s job-killing heavy-handed regulatory policies. Now the Obama administration hopes she “does for the United States what she did for New Jersey.”
So far, Americans for Prosperity activists have logged more than 13,000 comments telling EPA to obey its mandate and leave climate legislation to the people’s elected representatives. If you haven’t taken action yet, click here to help stop EPA’s power grab before the December 28th deadline.
We face a long hard fight to overturn or at least mitigate the potentially devastating impact of this EPA “finding” in coming months and years. Speaking in carefully coded environmental-speak, Ms. Jackson discussed what her 18,000 EPA bureaucrats have in mind for small businesses, large corporations and even families. We must and we will hold Congress responsible if they fail to stop what the EPA is trying to do.
I talked to many individual environmental leaders and activists from Greenpeace, Sierra Club, World Wildlife Fund, members of the U.S. delegation, EPA bureaucrats, and activists from other smaller groups. They’re true believers. In their view only the government can step in and “fix” this problem by forcing individuals to dramatically change their lives, to pay more taxes for the privilege of using energy or creating jobs. Capitalism is THE culprit in their morality tale. Those with a different view are dismissed as ignorant simpletons or denounced as greedy robber barons who must be stopped.
There is no room for compromise in their world.
If we’re going to protect our freedoms and preserve a free market that has pulled generations from the muck and misery of grinding poverty, then we are going to have to defeat them in the public arena.
The good news – the American public agrees with us. Every poll shows support for cap-and-trade policies going downhill. The legislation is dead for this year, after most pundits thought it a done deal earlier this year.
The bad news – from what I saw firsthand in Copenhagen – our opponents have nearly unlimited financial resources, committed grassroots troops of their own, and deeply entrenched organizations that think strategically and act aggressively.
We’ve got to be innovative, aggressive, confident, strategic and on message. Most of all – we have to fight each and every day.
And, that’s exactly what we’re going to do.

A bipartisan group of U.S. senators has asked the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Inspector General to investigate why suspect individuals – including terrorists and drug kingpins – have been able to retain their Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) pilot’s licenses.
In a letter to DHS Inspector General Richard Skinner, the senators cited media reports, including an ABC News investigation, that questioned the ability of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to purge the FAA’s aviation list of individuals posing a threat to transportation security.

I have been a registered voter for all my adult life. Over a decade ago, I switched to “Unaffiliated” because I was disgusted w/ the national party.
However, that prevented me from voting in the primaries in my state. Shame on me!
Today I just mailed in my voter registration change form. No longer will I be sitting in the background waiting for someone else to make the decision for who I get to vote for.
If you are in a similar situation, you only have a few weeks left before the cut-off for the spring primaries.

Please understand that the only reason registered “Unaffiliated” voters in your state cannot choose the nominee of the political party is that you and your fellow citizens, through your state legislators, enacted laws prohibiting such vote.
In my state, we can register as “Unenrolled” and still vote in the party primary, of either party. And when we leave the polls, we are still registered as Unenrolled.
So, how about registering now as a member of a party; and then, working to change your state laws so as to allow other people like you, who would rather not commit to a particular political party, to vote in party primaries?
Katie-what you bring up is important. One of the girls I worked with got mad at the DNC for something, this was long before the 2008 rip-off, so she registered as Unaffiliated. She was shocked when she went to vote in the primaries and found out she was not allowed. This is Florida law. I don’t know re: other states. This also applies to Independents, so it behooves everyone to check. She had been a life long Democrat so she really never encountered the problem before. I kept my DNC registration, but I’m NOT going to vote for anyone in the Dem party until they purge all the loony tunes and it won’t be this upcoming election cycle. They called 08 historic, well 10 is going to be super historic. Think about this-all the folks that are running-they can bring up all the unConstitutional issues, the media suppression, Main Street being cremated by Wall Street, Ponzi schemes, those in government who did NOT fulfill their Constitutional oaths-the possibilities are endless. Just need guts enough to get the message out there. They can run (Obama and fellow barbarians) but they cannot hide.
Michelle – so the question in your situation is if you are a registered D but want to vote for an R, are you blocked out of the caucus process leading up to the primaries?
It’s something everyone has to look into and understand. If you want things to change and it has to start at the very grassroots level, then make sure you’re not locking yourself out of the process.
Once the primaries are over, you can change your affiliation back to whatever you choose.
Like too many Americans, I was naive, uninterested, uninformed – call it what you want.
Like michelle obama said before the election (paraphrasing) ‘barack will make you work, and will not let you return to your life as you know it’.

attract like minded in other states. Palm Beach County is heavily Republican with sprinkles of us DEMS. I think most DEMS are so disgusted with Obama and his craziness they will vote for a good Republican (Tea-party) individual. I predict election 2010 is going to be very wild, interesting etc. Obama cannot make up any more fiction, most normal people already see through him and his lies. The problems the country is facing should have dealt with months ago, instead of his perpetual preening.

Since we conservatives are looking for those voices to support, I’m hoping this will be the beginning of an FA “series” of showcases for worthy candidates. And thanks to Mike’sA for the reminder that there is no substitute for good ol’ fashioned grassroots campaigning.
Ret. Lt. Colonel Allen West, a 22 year Army veteran, is running for US Congress in 2010, representing Florida’s 22nd district. That’s Florida’s infamous “hanging chad” arena, Broward and Palm Beach Counties…. and perhaps even Rush Limbaugh’s potential future representative.
LTC West would be replacing Democrat Ron Klein… a lockstep Dem newbie elected in 2006 whose voting record in his brief years of service speaks for itself. LTC West has faced off with Klein before in 2008, garnering 45.3% of the votes to Klein’s 54.7%. But it’s a new era of liberal/progressive spending and attempted extortion of nanny control. LTC Allen needs some word of mouth press.
LTC Allen has been making some recent headlines of late, due to his inspiring performance at Ft. Lauderdale’s Revolution Nightclub (YouTube video below) in October this year. Roll the tape, and be prepared for some straight-from-the-heart, true inspiration and a genuine oratory display – all sans Greek columns.

Nobody likes election fraud except the ones who commit the fraud!
Here are some ideas:
How can we get the attention of these state attorney generals and/or state officials to investigate their own state’s election laws?
– Can we inspire a ‘now’ very large number of concerned and yet frustrated citizens from across the country to understand jbjd’s work and their own state laws to organize a substantial and informed group or groups of citizens to pursue, request, pressure and/or demand the state attorney generals to investigate?
– Can the citizens of these individual states who maintain these laws, organize enough to expect, compel and/or demand the state attorney general to act on the complaints?
– Can the citizens of other states organize enough to contribute by communicating with these state attorney generals of other states to recognize the complaint?
– Can the citizens of other states organize enough to communicate with their own state attorney generals to recognize the complaints in these other states and urge them to join these other state attorney generals who maintain these laws?
– Can other state officials (governors, legislators and secretary’s of state) of these individual states who maintain these laws, organize enough to expect, compel and/or demand the state attorney general to act on the complaints?
– Can other state officials (governors, legislators and secretary’s of state) of other states organize enough to contribute by communicating with these state attorney generals of other states to recognize the complaint?
– Can other state officials (governors, legislators and secretary’s of state) of other states organize enough to communicate with their own state attorney generals to recognize the complaints in these other states and urge them to join these other state attorney generals who maintain these laws?
– Can the governors who are for example ” responsible for the faithful execution of the laws” (The Constitution of the State of Hawaii) initiate an inquiry by authorizing their state attorney general to investigate?
– Can the secretary’s of state and/or the state board of elections initiate an inquiry by requesting their state attorney general to investigate?
– Can a state resolution or memorial by other states recognizing and supporting the states who maintain election laws requiring the state party and/or the national party to be responsible to qualify the candidate for office to be placed on the ballot, be obtained?
– Can the already organized groups such as the ‘tea party movement’ be informed of jbjd’s work and educate themselves of their own state laws to determine election fraud and if not, how can the people of these groups otherwise participate?
– Can we use the internet to inform other web sites of these states with these election laws and other states of jbjd’s work as a massive campaign and as a goal to inform as many citizens of our country as possible prior to the Kerchner appeal
which occurs in early January?

There are only 2 (types) of complaints of election fraud I drafted, in those states that require the candidate whose name appears on the general eledction ballot must be eligible for the job: 1) states that require the party to explicitly write, the candidate has met the qualifications using language provided by statute (HI and SC); and 2) states that don’t (GA, MD, TX, and VA). But in each of these states, the charge of fraud is supported by the same evidence, that is, the party swore the candidate was eligible to get election officials to print his name on the ballot before determining he was qualified for the job.
See, one way of saying, BO is eligible is, to use explicit words required by statute. But the other way to say he is eligible is to say, he was “duly nominated” as the DNC candidate for POTUS. Because under DNC Services Corporation rules, the nominee for POTUS must be Constitutionally qualified for the job.
Each complaint cites this evidence, along with a direct link to the Corporation’s rules.
Given that the Corporation already breaks its own rules, why would anyone spend time analyzing newly proposed rules, anticipating better outcomes could be achieved by these wrongdoers?
(And if we cannot compel our state officials – A’sG to investigate the probable violation of existing ballot laws, why enact more laws just as easily ignored by both the AG and the citizens of that state?)

Regarding jbjd’s fine work-whenever I see an opening-someone campaigning etc. Constitutional issues-I took an oath etc. I copy past jbjd’s Three Card Monte and Out of the Mouth of Babes. Cite her web-site. I want her to get the full credit she deserves. I state where I can 9th graders figured out the fraud, why can’t the Supreme’s, Congress etc. ? I’m trying to make everyone aware, that we are aware and they are in a position to do something about the fraud which should lead to investigations at least.
