Snowden forces Obama’s hand on surveillance program, Patriot whistleblower or criminal?, New reforms of government programs, Russian asylum prompted Obama to cancel planned meeting

“The US government is not going to be able to cover this up by jailing or murdering me,”…Edward Snowden

“Snowden has shared encoded copies of all the documents he took so that they won’t disappear if he does, Glenn Greenwald tells Eli Lake.”… The Daily Beast June 25, 2013

“A Party member lives from birth to death under the eye of the Thought Police. Even when he is alone he can never be sure that he is alone. Wherever he may be, asleep or awake, working or resting, in his bath or in bed, he can be inspected without warning and without knowing that he is being inspected. Nothing that he does is indifferent.”…George Orwell, “1984″

Edward Snowden.

Patriot, whistleblower or criminal?

Too early to tell.

From NBC News August 9, 2013.

“Snowden revelations force Obama’s hand on surveillance program”

“NSA leaker Edward Snowden’s revelations have forced President Barack Obama’s hand, leading the president to announce new reforms of the government’s classified surveillance programs.

After his administration issued repeated defenses of a National Security Agency monitoring program that collects Americans’ phone and Internet data, Obama announced during a press conference Friday afternoon that reforms to the system will make the collection activities more transparent and “give the American people additional confidence that there are additional safeguards against abuse.”

Obama said the changes will include changes to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court system — which currently greenlights requests for data gathering —  as well as the creation of both an internal NSA position devoted to privacy and an external working group to evaluate transparency in the program.  Officials will also launch a new website next week that will serve as “a hub for further transparency” for interested members of the public.

“Given the history of abuse by governments, it’s right to ask questions about surveillance by governments, particularly as technology is reshaping every aspects of our lives,” he said.

Obama’s announcement comes even as Snowden — the defense-contractor-turned-fugitive who released information to reporters about the NSA’s monitoring programs — has been charged with theft of government property and two offenses under U.S. espionage law.

He continues to evade extradition to the United States under a temporary asylum granted by the Russian government  – an agreement that prompted Obama to cancel a planned meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in protest.

Snowden has generated strong feelings in the wake of disclosures, with many lawmakers decrying him as treasonous for releasing the information while others have used the case to press their concerns about how the government is watching American citizens.

Obama bluntly rejected the idea Friday that Snowden’s actions were patriotic.

“No, I don’t think Mr. Snowden is a patriot,” he said, adding that he would have preferred a “lawful, orderly” debate over privacy concerns rather than finger-pointing in the wake of the leaks.

But while the president has declined in the past to say whether he considers Snowden a “whistleblower” as supporters of the alleged leaker claim, Snowden’s actions were at the very least a catalyst for the coming reforms, which he says will establish additional layers of oversight to reign in possible abuses of the NSA practices.”

“”The fact that I said that the programs are operating in a way that prevents abuse — that continues to be true without the reforms,” he said. “The question is ‘how do I make the American people more comfortable?'”

And, at the moment, polling shows that’s not the case.

A NBC/WSJ poll last month showed that 56 percent of Americans say they’re worried the United States will go too far in violating privacy rights. That’s a dramatic shift from the national environment after the 9/11 terror attacks, when 55 percent of Americans said they worried that the United States would not go far enough in monitoring potential terrorists who live in the United States.”

“Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.”…George Orwell, “1984″

From the Atlanta Journal Constitution August 5, 2013.

“Welcome to the Obamcare economy. From McClatchy:

“The July government employment report released Friday showed the job market treading water.”And a closer look at one of the two measures the Labor Department uses to gauge employment suggests that part-time work accounted for almost all the job growth that’s been reported over the past six months. …” ‘Over the last six months, of the net job creation, 97 percent of that is part-time work,’ said Keith Hall, a senior researcher at George Mason University’s Mercatus Center. ‘That is really remarkable.'”Hall is no ordinary academic. He ran the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the agency that puts out the monthly jobs report, from 2008 to 2012. Over the past six months, he said, the Household Survey shows 963,000 more people reporting that they were employed, and 936,000 of them reported they’re in part-time jobs.” ‘That is a really high number for a six-month period,’ Hall said. ‘I’m not sure that has ever happened over six months before.’ “”
“How, then, to explain what’s happened since January? Back to the McClatchy article and Hall, the former BLS chief:

“Hall speculated that the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, shorthanded as Obamacare, might be resulting in employers shifting workers to part-time status to avoid coming health care obligations.”

‘There’s been so much talk about the effects of Obamacare on part-time work,’ he said. ‘This is such an unusual thing to see.’ ”
By “so much talk,” Hall of course was referring to the numerous stories of employers that are cutting back on their workers’ hours to avoid qualifying for Obamacare’s mandate to provide health insurance for them. Just yesterday, the AJC reported on the various ways local employers are trying to cope with the looming mandate (subscription to MyAJC required for link), including the decision by AAA Parking to move 250 full-time workers to part-time status. Many of the Americans affected by these business decisions are, of course, the very people Obamacare was supposed to help.

In fact, we can get even more specific than the January-July numbers Hall outlined.

Looking at the BLS data, the number of Americans working part-time for economic reasons — i.e., not because they want to work part-time — hit a multi-year low in March. Since then, part-time jobs have accounted for a whopping 99.1 percent of all jobs created. Over the past four months, on a net basis, just 9,000 full-time jobs have been added in the entire United States.

That means there have been 110 part-time jobs created for every one full-time job since March.”

You are being lied to.

Don’t take my word for it.

Look it up.

This past week, we received the usual Orwellian reporting on jobs, unemployment rate, initial claims and the economy.

This Market Watch heading was typical.

“Payrolls disappoint,
but unemployment falls.”

No mention of the one month drop in the Labor Force Participation Rate or the huge drop since Obama took the White House in January 2009.

On Thursday the BLS reported initial claims were 326,000. No wonder. Think about it. Huge numbers have dropped out of the labor force.

And part time workers. You don’t have to fire them, just cut back on their hours.

From the BLS Employment Situation report for July 2013.
“Both the number of unemployed persons, at 11.5 million, and the unemployment rate, at 7.4 percent, edged down in July. Over the year, these measures were down by 1.2 million and 0.8 percentage point, respectively.”

“The civilian labor force participation rate was 63.4 percent in July, little changed over the month.”

“Among the marginally attached, there were 988,000 discouraged workers in July, up by 136,000 from a year earlier.”

http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htm

The  Labor Force Participation Rate dropped .1 percent in July. That is significant.

The increase of 136,000 discouraged worker from 2012 is certainly significant.

So, do you believe that the unemployment rate is 7.4 percent and that the jobs situation has improved since Obama took office in January 2009?

“If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan.”…Barack Obama

“Obamacare requires all insurance companies to report to the IRS the name, address, identification number, and type of policy purchased by every customer, along with a determination whether the insurance was “government-approved” for purposes of complying with Obamacare’s individual mandate.[12] Likewise, individuals will have to file similar forms demonstrating they held “government-approved insurance” with their tax returns.”…Heritage Foundation

The IRS is supposed to enforce Obamacare.

They don’t want it either.

From Illinois review July 25, 2013.

“IRS WORKERS WANT AN EXEMPTION FROM OBAMACARE”

“Another union has lost its enthusiasm for ObamaCare – or at least for one major feature of the federalized health insurance scheme.

The National Treasury Employees Union, or NTEU, is encouraging its members to write their congressmen in opposition to HR 1780, a bill that would have federal government workers use health insurance exchanges to buy health insurance. (Their sample letter is below.) The exchanges would take the place of the Federal Employee Health Benefits program that currently provides insurance to Treasury Department employees.

The creation of health insurance exchanges was one of the key features of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also known as ObamaCare. The exchanges were supposed to provide a means for workers who did not have employer-provided insurance to purchase affordable insurance on their own. Under ObamaCare, members of Congress and their staffs are required to buy health insurance through the exchanges. HR 1780 would extend this to all federal government workers.

The exchanges, which were originally to be managed by state governments, have proved difficult to set up. Twenty-seven states have passed on creating their own exchanges, and another seven states (Illinois included) have opted for a partnership arrangement where the federal government will still take the lead in setting up an exchange – rather than take on the task on themselves. The creation of the exchanges is behind schedule, and many health care providers doubt that they will be functional in timeto prevent disruptions in health care.”

“I am a federal employee and one of your constituents. I am very concerned about legislation that has been introduced by Congressman Dave Camp to push federal employees out of the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) and into the insurance exchanges established under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

H.R. 1780 would put federal employees in a special class where they would be prohibited from receiving health insurance through their employer. It would treat federal employees differently from state and local government employees and most employees of large private sector companies who receive health insurance benefits through their employer. The primary purpose of the Affordable Care Act was to provide a marketplace for the sale and purchase of health insurance for those who do not have such coverage – not to take coverage away from employees who already receive it through their employers.

I work hard and am proud of the services that I provide to your constituents every day. One of the main benefits I receive as a federal employee is the ability to purchase health insurance coverage through the FEHBP with an employer contribution towards those benefits. Please let me know your views on this legislation. I look forward to hearing back from you.”

Gas prices up again, Obama energy policies kill jobs hurt Americans already hurting from economy, Part time job economy, Higher gas prices raise other prices

“Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, uh, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers.”…Barack Obama

“Canada has outperformed the U.S. since then. In 2010, according to the International Monetary Fund, Canada grew at 3.2% versus 2.9% in the U.S. In 2011, the IMF estimates Canada will grow at 2.9%; unemployment is now 7.3%. The IMF’s U.S. growth forecast is 2.5% this year, and U.S. unemployment is 9.1%.

One explanation for Canada’s more robust growth is its strong commitment to energy, which has become more valuable in U.S. dollar terms under Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke’s inflationary policies. Alberta is now producing two million barrels per day but expects that number will grow to four to five million within a decade.”…Wall Street Journal Sept. 12, 2011

“For the first time in recent history, the average Canadian is richer than the average American, according to a report cited in Toronto’s Globe and Mail.

And not just by a little. Currently, the average Canadian household is more than $40,000 richer than the average American household. The net worth of the average Canadian household in 2011 was $363,202, compared to around $320,000 for Americans.”…US News  July 18, 2012

“New U.S. economy: Part-time and temp job markets explode”

“The new economic reality in the United States is this: The workforce has shifted from full-timers to part-timers.

On top of that, more Americans receive food stamps than work full time, Fox News reported.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics found that an estimated 28 million peolpe in America now work at part-time jobs. And as the Washington Examiner noted, a record level of workers in the nation now hold temporary positions — about 2.7 million — that are obtained through a job placement service.

The American Staffing Association reported that in the first quarter of 2013 staffing agencies employed about 2 percent of non-farm workers in the nation. That’s up by 2.9 percent from the similar quarter in 2012. And comparing June 2013 with June 2012, the number of Americans working at positions obtained through temp agencies jumped 6.7 percent.

“Nearly one-fifth of all jobs gained since the recession ended have been temporary,” said Ashe Schow in the Examiner report.

At the same time, full-time jobs decreased by 240,000 positions.”

“More pain at the pump coming up, AAA says”

“Gasoline prices have jumped the most in one day in five months, with the average retail price up nearly 10 cents in a week.

Prices spiked 3.2 cents overnight, the most since mid-February, travel and leisure group AAA said.

There’s no relief is in sight. A spokesman for AAA said average prices could increase another 10 cents to 15 cents a gallon as rising gasoline futures prices catch up with consumers at the pump.

Several incidents at refineries across the nation, at a time crude-oil prices are on the rise, plus continued summer driving demand have pushed gasoline retail prices higher, AAA said.”

Illinois snubs Obama gun control efforts, IL legislature approves concealed carry, 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals 2012 ruling, Chicago violence to improve?

Illinois snubs Obama gun control efforts, IL legislature approves concealed carry, 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals 2012 ruling, Chicago violence to improve?

“The problem occurs, sir, in those areas precisely where we have said ‘no guns.’ The problem doesn’t occur where the guns are allowed freely to be carried to be used by people. There we have very low murder rates.”…Larry Pratt

“Weaker people, whether at school, at home or elsewhere are best protected from stronger people, with ill intent, by guns and proper security measures.”…Citizen Wells

“Germans who wish to use firearms should join the SS or the SA – ordinary citizens don’t need guns, as their having guns doesn’t serve the State.”…Heinrich Himmler

From USA Today July 9, 2013.
“Illinois enacts nation’s final concealed-gun law”

“Illinois became the last state in the nation to allow public possession of concealed guns as lawmakers rushed Tuesday to finalize a proposal ahead of a federal court’s deadline.

Both chambers of the Legislature voted to override changes Gov. Pat Quinn made to the bill they approved more than a month ago. Even some critics of the law argued it was better to approve something rather than risk the courts allowing virtually unregulated concealed weapons in Chicago, which has endured severe gun violence in recent months.

The Senate voted 41-17 in favor of the override Tuesday afternoon after the House voted 77-31, margins that met the three-fifths threshold needed to set aside the amendatory veto. Quinn had used his veto authority to suggest changes such as prohibiting guns in restaurants that serve alcohol and limiting gun-toting citizens to one firearm at a time.

Quinn had predicted a “showdown in Springfield” after a week of Chicago appearances to drum up support for the changes he made in the amendatory veto. The Chicago Democrat faces a tough re-election fight next year and has already drawn a primary challenge from former White House chief of state Bill Daley, who has criticized the governor’s handling of the debate over guns and other issues.

Rep. Brandon Phelps, a Democrat from southern Illinois, predicted a history-making day in which lawmakers would dismiss Quinn’s changes as politically motivated.

“He’s trying to cater to, pander to Cook County,” Phelps said, referring to the nation’s second most-populous county, which encompasses Chicago. “And I don’t blame him … because that’s where his votes are.”

The law as approved by the Legislature permits anyone with a Firearm Owner’s Identification card who has passed a background check and undergone gun-safety training of 16 hours — longest of any state — to obtain a concealed-carry permit for $150.”

From Political Outcast July 11, 2013.
“Illinois was the only state in the U.S. to have an outright prohibition on concealed carry. Residents could own guns but only keep them in their house. They weren’t even allowed to carry an unloaded gun in public.

A couple years ago, a Democrat state Representative Brandon Phelps sponsored a bill that would have allowed concealed carry, albeit with many limitations. The Governor and Rahm Emanuel both lobbied against the bill, and it eventually failed 65 – 32.”

“It’ll be interesting to see what effect this will have on Chicago violence. Over the Independence Day weekend, 74 people were shot and 12 were killed there. The violence is so bad in Chicago that some Illinois reps are calling for the National Guard and state police to step in to try to stem it. Just what they would need. Military and police patrolling their streets. A lot of that could be prevented by having a well-armed populace.”

June unemployment rate 7.6 percent?, Labor force participation rate down  .3 percent past year, Part time workers up 322K, Discouraged workers up 206K over year, Employment up 195K in June???

“North Carolina’s unemployment rate fell for the fourth consecutive month in May to 8.8 percent, but the slight drop was largely due to a shrinking labor force rather than the creation of new jobs, economists said.”…Raleigh News Observer June 21, 2013

“11.4%: What the U.S. unemployment rate would be if labor force participation were back to January 2008 levels.” …James Pethokoukis, American Enterprise Institute, June 2013

“the Times of the nineteenth of December had published the official forecasts of the output of various classes of consumption goods in the fourth quarter of 1983, which was also the sixth quarter of the Ninth Three-Year Plan. Today’s issue contained a statement of the actual output, from which it appeared that the forecasts were in every instance grossly wrong. Winston’s job was to rectify the original figures by making them agree with the later ones.”…George Orwell, “1984″

From the US Labor Department July 5, 2013.

“THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION — JUNE 2013
Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 195,000 in June, and the
unemployment rate was unchanged at 7.6 percent, the U.S. Bureau of
Labor Statistics reported today. Employment rose in leisure and
hospitality, professional and business services, retail trade, health
care, and financial activities.

Household Survey Data

The number of unemployed persons, at 11.8 million, and the unemployment
rate, at 7.6 percent, were unchanged in June. Both measures have shown
little change since February. (See table A-1.)

Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rate for adult women
(6.8 percent) edged up in June, while the rates for adult men (7.0
percent), teenagers (24.0 percent), whites (6.6 percent), blacks (13.7
percent), and Hispanics (9.1 percent) showed little or no change. The
jobless rate for Asians was 5.0 percent (not seasonally adjusted), down
from 6.3 percent a year earlier. (See tables A-1, A-2, and A-3.)

In June, the number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks
or more) was essentially unchanged at 4.3 million. These individuals
accounted for 36.7 percent of the unemployed. Over the past 12 months,
the number of long-term unemployed has declined by 1.0 million. (See
table A-12.)

The civilian labor force participation rate, at 63.5 percent, and the
employment-population ratio, at 58.7 percent, changed little in June.
Over the year, the labor force participation rate is down by 0.3
percentage point. (See table A-1.)

The number of persons employed part time for economic reasons (sometimes
referred to as involuntary part-time workers) increased by 322,000 to 8.2
million in June. These individuals were working part time because their
hours had been cut back or because they were unable to find a full-time
job. (See table A-8.)

In June, 2.6 million persons were marginally attached to the labor force,
essentially unchanged from a year earlier. (The data are not seasonally
adjusted.) These individuals were not in the labor force, wanted and
were available for work, and had looked for a job sometime in the prior
12 months. They were not counted as unemployed because they had not
searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding the survey. (See table A-16.)

Among the marginally attached, there were 1.0 million discouraged
workers in June, an increase of 206,000 from a year earlier. (The data
are not seasonally adjusted.) Discouraged workers are persons not
currently looking for work because they believe no jobs are available
for them. The remaining 1.6 million persons marginally attached to the
labor force in June had not searched for work for reasons such as
school attendance or family responsibilities.”

You are being lied to and misled by the Obama Administration and mainstream media. Examine the numbers for yourself.

From Citizen Wells July 3, 2013.

Here is the report from the NC ESC, Employment Security Commission.

“Unemployment rates (not seasonally adjusted) increased in 87 of North Carolina’s counties in May, decreased in 12 and remained the same in one. All 14 of the State’s metro areas experienced rate increases.”

Compare the ESC report to the News Record article.

It appears to me and another well informed gentleman that I know, that since Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway purchased the News Record,  the reporting on jobs and the economy has been watered down.

From Citizen Wells June 29, 2013.

“The labor force participation rate in NC fell .1 percent in May. That fully accounted for the .1 percent drop in the unemployment rate.

It gets worse.

The NC Labor Force Participation Rate dropped 1 percent from January to May 2013.

It gets worse.

The NC Labor Force Participation Rate dropped 3.7 percent since the Democrats took control of both US houses of congress in 2007.

It gets worse.

The NC Employment to population rate dropped 6.1 percent since the Democrats took control of both US houses of congress in 2007.”

“Statement from Edward Snowden in Moscow

Monday July 1, 21:40 UTC

One week ago I left Hong Kong after it became clear that my freedom and safety were under threat for revealing the truth. My continued liberty has been owed to the efforts of friends new and old, family, and others who I have never met and probably never will. I trusted them with my life and they returned that trust with a faith in me for which I will always be thankful.

On Thursday, President Obama declared before the world that he would not permit any diplomatic “wheeling and dealing” over my case. Yet now it is being reported that after promising not to do so, the President ordered his Vice President to pressure the leaders of nations from which I have requested protection to deny my asylum petitions.

This kind of deception from a world leader is not justice, and neither is the extralegal penalty of exile. These are the old, bad tools of political aggression. Their purpose is to frighten, not me, but those who would come after me.

For decades the United States of America has been one of the strongest defenders of the human right to seek asylum. Sadly, this right, laid out and voted for by the U.S. in Article 14 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, is now being rejected by the current government of my country. The Obama administration has now adopted the strategy of using citizenship as a weapon. Although I am convicted of nothing, it has unilaterally revoked my passport, leaving me a stateless person. Without any judicial order, the administration now seeks to stop me exercising a basic right. A right that belongs to everybody. The right to seek asylum.

In the end the Obama administration is not afraid of whistleblowers like me, Bradley Manning or Thomas Drake. We are stateless, imprisoned, or powerless. No, the Obama administration is afraid of you. It is afraid of an informed, angry public demanding the constitutional government it was promised — and it should be.

I am unbowed in my convictions and impressed at the efforts taken by so many.

“if they want to build [coal plants], they can, but it will bankrupt them”…Barack Obama

“Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, uh, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers.”…Barack Obama

“The end justifies the means, the template of the left.”…Citizen Wells

The common belief is that states like Wyoming and North Dakota have weathered the left wing socialist onslaught of Obama and the Democrats. Obama et al have done their best to negatively impact our oil and coal economies and therefore the overall economy and jobs.

North Dakota has the lowest unemployment rate at 3.2 percent and Wyoming, the top coal producing state, has an unemployment rate of 4.6 percent.

Obama, in an attempt to keep his core support, the left, has renewed his attempts to stifle coal production and use in this country, which will subsequently further cost Americans jobs.

“Coal-state Dems chisel away at Obama climate plan”

President Obama, in his weekly radio address, beseeched voters to get behind his climate change plan and punish politicians who don’t.

He may want to be careful what he asks for. Several of those lawmakers come from the president’s own party.

Coal-state Democrats have been as scathing as any Republican in reaction to the president’s plan, unveiled Tuesday in a speech at Georgetown University. The pushback was almost immediate, and a glaring signal of the trouble Obama may encounter as he charges ahead with new restrictions on coal-fired power plants.

Though Obama technically is going around Congress by having the Environmental Protection Agency impose the rules, moderate Democrats made clear they will pressure the administration from inside the party to scale back. They carry a simple message: The regulations will kill jobs, but working with the coal industry to improve its own clean-coal technology won’t.

West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin, calling the president’s plan a “war on America,” delivered one of the most forceful rebuttals in an interview with Fox News.

“It’s just ridiculous. … I should not have to be sitting here as a U.S. senator, fighting my own president and fighting my own government,” he told Fox News. “I will continue to reach out, but I need a partner here. I don’t need an adversary.”

Manchin argued that the coal industry has the technology to reduce emissions. But he said the government, rather than work with the industry, is setting unattainable standards.

The cornerstone of Obama’s plan was a call for the first-ever regulations on emissions for existing power plants.

“Why is this economy going to be taking this hit? Why are jobs going to be lost, and they will be lost,” Manchin said. ”

Our problems with the economy and jobs did not start when Obama took office in January of 2009. The Democrats took control of both houses of congress in January 0f 2007.

Citizen Wells reported yesterday that the NC Employment to population rate dropped 6.1 percent since the Democrats took control of both US houses of congress in 2007.

Here are the Employment to population rates for the top 10 coal producing states for the same time period. This information may surprise you. It is definitely under reported.

Is anyone in the mainstream media covering this?

“US tax investigator: No sign liberals targeted by IRS”
“A government inspector who detailed the U.S. federal tax agency’s tough treatment of conservative groups says he has no evidence that liberal groups were similarly targeted, according to a letter obtained by The Associated Press on Thursday.

Russell George, the inspector general for tax administration, addressed the letter to a top Democratic lawmaker who has complained that George unfairly focused on tea party and other conservative groups in a report released last month, while omitting mention of liberals.

George’s report became a major scandal for the Obama administration and led to the removal of at least five top officials at the Internal Revenue Service, including former acting Commissioner Steven Miller. It revealed that the IRS targeted conservative groups for extra scrutiny when they applied for tax-exempt status.

Democrats seem determined to shift the focus to this week’s disclosure that “Progressive” was also on a list of terms used by IRS screeners from 2010 to 2012 to look for applicants with potential problems that would merit close scrutiny.

In a letter obtained Thursday by The Associated Press, George acknowledged that “Progressives” appeared on the list. But he said there was no evidence the IRS set aside progressive groups’ applications for tax-exempt status because they appeared on that list.

George said his investigators have “multiple sources of information corroborating,” including interviews with IRS employees, emails and other documents, that tea party groups’ applications were set aside for close examinations.”
