Patrick Fitzgerald agenda, Protect Obama, Rezko testimony withheld, Fitzgerald attacked Republicans Ryan Libby Rove, Cellini trial

“Why did Patrick Fitzgerald and the US Justice Department wait until December 2008 to arrest Rod Blagojevich?”…Citizen Wells

The William Cellini trial begins Monday, October 3, 2011. From all indications, and in spite of key Witness Stuart Levine being tainted with a drug use history, the prosecution will not call Tony Rezko as a witness. US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, a prosecutor who aggresively went after former IL Governor Ryan and Scooter Libby and Karl Rove, is the reason.

From Nuclear Chicago May 25, 2011.

“US Attorney Patrick “The Sandbagger” Fitzgerald: Winning Thru Intimidation of Citizen Journalists?”

“As an update to my continuing effort to construct a biography of U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald as well as provide special reporting related to the retrial of Milorad Blagojevich, I am writing this morning to officially report upon and inform The May Report and NuclearChicago readership of the following:

At approximately 9:15a this past Thursday morning (May 19th), while en route to the Federal Courts to continue our coverage of USA v. Blagojevich – Nuclear Chicago published the following headline:

USA v. Blagojevich Retrial: US Attorney Patrick “The Sandbagger” Fitzgerald?

http://www.nuclearchicago.com/2011/05/nuclear-chicago-usa-v-blagojevich-retrial-u-s-attorney-patrick-the-sandbagger-fitzgerald/

Among other factors, the prevailing basis for same sensational headline as well as related analysis was due to the fact that Antoin “Tony” Rezko – Uber Confidante to Blagojevich, Obama and Nadhmi Auchi – had not yet testified as a Federal Government Witness in USA v. Blagojevich.

Same refusal by US Attorney Fitzgerald to place Rezko in the Witness Box to bury Blagojevich further corroborates the brutal realities that US Attorney Fitzgerald has been running egregious political interference to both benefit and protect Team Obama (i.e., Allison Davis, Dr. Eric Whitaker, Marty Nesbitt, et al).

Simply put – Antoin “Tony” Rezko is the only witness that can bury Blagojevich and the Chicago Political Thuggery Machine.  Why is Fitzgerald holding back Rezko?  What has been promised or implied to Fitzgerald as a “reward” for Fitzgerald’s blatant sandbagging efforts.

Same egregious political interference by Fitzgerald can be traced back to as early as 2006 when the Chicago Tribune was preparing to publish an exclusive scoop that convicted felon and Federal Goverment informant John Thomas (formerly Bernard Barton) was parading around Chicago procuring taped conversations and other evidence against politicians that were visiting Rezko’s real estate office on the near north side of the City. Evidently, same surveillance efforts procured damaging information against then US Senator Obama and Governor Blagojevich.

As reported in an earlier update (and according to a well-placed source at the Chicago Tribune), the Chicago Tribune finally capitulated to Fitzgerald’s demands and efforts to stop same exclusive John Thomas scoop only when Fitzgerald informed the Tribune that same exclusive John Thomas scoop would impair a 2008 Obama Presidential campaign. Upon being informed of 2008 Obama Presidential campaign implications – the Tribune terminated its efforts.  Same scoop was ultimately published in May 2007 via Crain’s Chicago Business to serve as a ‘heads-up’ to Obama for America Treasurer and Chicago Housing Authority Chairman Marty Nesbitt.  Same ‘heads-up’ was yet another example of political interference as John Thomas was actively trying to purchase prime real estate owned by the Chicago Housing Authority – 626 West Jackson.

US Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald — a modern day Elliot Ness with a Harvard Law Degree?

Hardly.

Fitzgerald is a dangerous, unaccountable Federal Bureaucrat with highly-charged political ambitions.  Recent history has demonstrated that nothing is sacred for Fitzgerald when it comes to his highly-charged political ambitions (i.e., Journalist Judith Miller, Scooter Libby, Blago-Gate, et al).

To further demonstrate the highly-charged political behavior of US Attorney Fizgerald, within 2-hours of publishing our Thursday morning update – “US Attorney Patrick ‘The Sandbagger’ Fitzgerald”, which was highly-critical of Rezko being surgically-removed from trial by Fitzgerald – I was detained by US Marshal Service, prohibited from re-entering 25th floor courtroom and escorted out of the Federal Courts Building.”

We discovered recently that Colin Powell knew that Scooter Libby and Karl Rove were not the source of leaks in the Valerie Plame CIA story.  We also knew the truth from Robert Novak on July 12, 2006.

“Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has informed my attorneys that, after two and one-half years, his investigation of the CIA leak case concerning matters directly relating to me has been concluded. That frees me to reveal my role in the federal inquiry that, at the request of Fitzgerald, I have kept secret.

I have cooperated in the investigation while trying to protect journalistic privileges under the First Amendment and shield sources who have not revealed themselves. I have been subpoenaed by and testified to a federal grand jury. Published reports that I took the Fifth Amendment, made a plea bargain with the prosecutors or was a prosecutorial target were all untrue.

For nearly the entire time of his investigation, Fitzgerald knew — independent of me — the identity of the sources I used in my column of July 14, 2003. A federal investigation was triggered when I reported that former Ambassador Joseph Wilson?’s wife, Valerie Plame Wilson, was employed by the CIA and helped initiate his 2002 mission to Niger. That Fitzgerald did not indict any of these sources may indicate his conclusion that none of them violated the Intelligence Identities Protection Act.”

“In my sworn testimony, I said what I have contended in my columns and on television: Joe Wilson’s wife’s role in instituting her husband’s mission was revealed to me in the middle of a long interview with an official who I have previously said was not a political gunslinger. After the federal investigation was announced, he told me through a third party that the disclosure was inadvertent on his part.

Following my interview with the primary source, I sought out the second administration official and the CIA spokesman for confirmation. I learned Valerie Plame’s name from Joe Wilson’s entry in “Who’s Who in America.””

Some more insight into Patrick Fitzgeralds activities from Sweetness & Light May 25, 2006.

“Patrick Fitzgerald Ratchets Up Attack On Cheney
From the DNC’s house organ, the Washington Post:”

“There’s nothing “alleged” about Plame’s sending Joe to Niger. It’s documented in the 9/11 Commission’s report.

But notice that the Washington Post never uses “alleged” when it is leveling the most preposterous charges against Libby and Cheney.

If there was ever any doubt that Fitzgerald is a political whore, this should clear that up. There is no reason on earth for him to have released this information to the press. It is just more of the DNC’s smear machine at work.”

May 2006, does that ring a bell with anyone? Like the time when Patrick Fitzgerald began protecting Obama, when Blagojevich dropped any presidential aspirations and Obama began planning his presidential bid.

I am not through with Patrick Fitzgerald!

William Cellini trial overview, Tony Rezko not sentenced, Rezko unlikely witness, Patrick Fitzgerald collusion

William Cellini trial overview, Tony Rezko not sentenced, Rezko unlikely witness, Patrick Fitzgerald collusion

“Why did the Illinois Senate Health & Human Services Committee, with Obama as chairman, create and push Bill 1332, “Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act,” early in 2003, which reduced the number of members on the Board from 15 to 9, just prior to rigging by Tony Rezko and Rod Blagojevich?”…Citizen Wells

“I believe I’m more pristine on Rezko than him.”…Rod Blagojevich

“Why were Stuart Levine and Tony Rezko not called as witnesses in the Blagojevich trials? FBI agent Daniel Cain testified in the Rezko trial. Why was agent Cain not questioned more in the Blagojevich trial?…Citizen Wells

As I have stated before, the first letters in Wells are WE. This has always been a group effort and will continue that way. Below are 2 comments from regulars here. I wish that the rest of the country was paying this much attention.

From Bessie on 2011/09/28 at 8:00 pm.

“It was made perfectly clear in the 2 trials of Rod Blagojevich that
the prosecution and the judge were more concerned with protecting
Obama than they were with a guilty verdict….first they never called
Rezko who’s testimony would have prevented a second trial and he would
have been found guilty on all charges…second, their refusal to turn
over the 302′s and thier lame excuse, “I read them and theres nothing
there”…third, the leaker??? was it someone inside the fbi or U.S.
Attorney’s office or was it John Wyma himself…fourth, Patrick
Fitzgerald’s lack of interest in “who” tipped off John Chase, “It
wasn’t me”, just doesn’t cut it….We can be certian who ever was the
leaker also tipped off Obama and his staff…fifth, Rezko never being
called to testify and him waiting for over 3 years to be sentenced.
sixth, the current law suit of Frawley vs. Weaver, it answers numerous
questions including payments made from Rezko to Obama…which we can all
be pretty sure that the feds knew about this for years…am I forgetting
anything????”

From Pete on 2011/09/29 at 12:54 pm.

“I read a little background about our mutual prosecutor Fitzpatrick the other day. Seems he was famous before being involved in the Chicago crime, we call Obama’s past. Fitzgerald brought a guy in to testify for a grand jury, knowing the whole time that the person he was interviewing had nothing to do with the crime he was investigating. He did this to ‘entrap’ the witness. The witness was Scooter Libby, and he didn’t have ANYTHING to do with Valerie Plame or her public outing at the hands of a Colin Powel aid.

So, we know that Fitzgerald is a political hack for the DEMOCRATS and has no interest in unbiased justice. He is directly INVOLVED in cover-up for Obama and his associations with Blago, Levine, the hospital board, the sale of the illegal senate seat, his illegal housing gift from Rezco, and some 600 million dollars of Iraq reconstruction aid that went mysteriously missing.

I believe it’s all corrupt, to the very core, and the American people are starting to smell and feel the stench of our dear democratic party people. Just remember to remind EVERYONE you see that while politicians may be ‘dirty’ this sort of all out criminal administration has NO PEER in the last 150 years, and is starting to resemble Ulysses Grant for illegal behavior and pay to play.”

Here is a decent overview of the William Cellini trial.

Watch the full episode. See more Chicago Tonight.

I stated in 2008 before the election that Obama had to win to avoid prosecution. Since taking the White House he has controlled Eric Holder and the US Justice Department. Obama may lose control of Holder for a number of reasons.

Many rumors are circulating about Obama not running in 2012 or having competition in the primaries. I posed the question months ago of who would throw Obama under the bus. At this point I give it a 50 50 chance of his running in 2012. He still has some of the same problems of actually being investigated for a number of indiscretions. So Obama will have to work out a deal with someone(s). Watch closely. This may happen.

Patrick Fitzgerald protects Obama, Rezko Blagojevich prosecution orchestrated delayed, John Thomas FBI mole, Chicago Tribune

Patrick Fitzgerald protects Obama, Rezko Blagojevich prosecution orchestrated delayed, John Thomas FBI mole, Chicago Tribune

From Illinois Pay To Play September 28, 2011.

“Patrick Fitzgerald: Intrepid Crime Fighter? Or, Politically-Driven Leaker?”

“Was Bernard Barton, Jr. relocated to Chicago on a mission to help
bring down Tony Rezko and, thereby, shield a young, articulate,
African-American politician from his potentially incriminating
associations with Rezko? Too conspiratorial, you say? Maybe. Maybe
not.

Let’s review the highlights of the Silent Mole, starting with an
admission from the Complicit Newspaper.

The Chicago Tribune identified Thomas as a Mole in this May 4, 2007,
article written by David Jackson.

John Thomas bought and sold downtown office buildings and helped other
property developers secure multimillion-dollar mortgage loans.

But the high-living dealmaker had a double life.

Thomas, who was convicted of federal business fraud in New York in
2004, has been serving as an undercover government mole in Chicago for
at least a year as part of an ongoing federal investigation into fraud
in the financing of large-scale commercial real estate deals, the
Tribune has learned.

Records made public so far do not identify the targets of the federal
probe and the FBI and US Attorney’s Office declined to comment for
this article.

That same May, a concerned citizen spoke on the phone with a
well-known Chicago Tribune reporter.  The concerned citizen was trying
to chase down information as to when the Tribune learned that John
Thomas was an FBI mole while working in Rezko’s office.  “Thomas” was
Barton’s new name in Chicago after being relocated from New York,
where he faced prosecution and eventual sentencing for fraud.  (The
complete story of Burton-Thomas is well documented and won’t be
rehashed here.)

The concerned citizen asked the reporter why the Trib had sat on the
Mole’s story since, at least, 2006.  That timeframe was implicitly
provided by the Trib reporter when stating that Patrick Fitzgerald
warned the paper, a year earlier in May 2006, that outing the Mole
would cause problems for the investigation and could prove dangerous
for Burton-Thomas.

Then, in a moment of indiscretion, the reporter added that Fitzgerald
told the Trib in May 2006 that identifying the mole could also
“influence the election.””

“Back when the Mole was entangled with the Eastern District of New
York, Patrick Fitzgerald was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the
adjacent Southern District.  The two would later rendezvous in
Chicago.

So, in February 2002, shortly after Burton-Thomas was relocated to
Chicago from the Big Apple, his nefarious past was outed by a Trib
reporter, but lacked any hint of his cooperation with the feds, nor
reference to his real name.”

“Now, jump ahead to February 2008. Sun-Times staff reporter David
Roeder elaborated on the Mole’s activity:

But sources said that, for more than two years when he was giving
information to agents, Thomas provided a fly-on-the-wall look inside
Rezko’s real estate operations and his desperate attempts to keep his
projects afloat.

Sources said Thomas also logged frequent visits to Rezko from Gov.
Blagojevich and U.S. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.).Blagojevich and Obama
were among the many politicians for whom Rezko raised campaign cash.
Neither has been charged with any wrongdoing.

Thomas had good reason to help. He hopes to get probation for his own
felony fraud conviction in a New York case. And he said he wants to
redeem himself in the eyes of business associates and his family.

Sources said Thomas helped investigators build a record of repeat
visits to the old offices of Rezko and former business partner Daniel
Mahru’s Rezmar Corp., at 853 N. Elston, by Blagojevich and Obama
during 2004 and 2005…

Sources said the government had him wear a hidden wire to record
conversations with a Chicago alderman — but that he did not record
Blagojevich or Obama.

Why no recording of Blago and Obama?  Maybe because Blago had
notoriously loose lips and might say something that implicated the
Protected One, Obama.

One month later, in March 2008, presidential candidate Barack Obama
was subjected to an underhand, slow-pitch softball interview by the
editorial board of the Sun Times. The transcript of the interview (no
longer available on line) includes this exchange:

Q: In November 2006, you and your campaign exchanged with us written
interrogatories. So a lot of the quotes I will give you just come out
of those. The campaign said that you probably had lunch with Rezko
once or twice a year. You sort of added four or five times, something
like that.

John Thomas is an FBI mole. He recently told us that he saw you coming
and going from Rezko’s office a lot. And three other sources told us
that you and Rezko spoke on the phone daily. Is that true?

A: (Obama) No. That’s not accurate…
John Thomas aka Bernard Barton
Okay, maybe the Mole misremembered.  A bad memory might explain why he
was never called by the USAO as a witness in the Rezko trial. Or,
perhaps, there was another reason.

On June 21, U.S. District Judge Elaine Bucklo sentenced John Thomas to
three years probation. His court records are sealed. His mission
accomplished.  And the extent of his subsequent success in Chicago
commercial real estate is displayed on his face today.”

As most of you know, the Citizen Wells blog has stated that Patrick Fitzgerald has been protecting Obama for some time and should have prosecuted Blagojevich much sooner.

Patrick Fitzgerald is just as guilty of corruption as those he prosecutes. I could prove this in a court of law.

William Cellini trial, Cellini played Democrats and Republicans, Operation Board Games, Rezko Levine Obama Blagojevich

William Cellini trial, Cellini played Democrats and Republicans, Operation Board Games, Rezko Levine Obama Blagojevich

From the Chicago Tribune September 9, 2011.

“Democrat, Republican — Cellini can play them all”
“Illinois Republicans are often easy to forget, what with the Democrats holding all the key offices, from City Hall West (121 N. LaSalle St.) to City Hall East (1600 Pennsylvania Ave.).

Political historians would tell you that all that power didn’t come from magic spells. It came from big-city Democratic Party patronage armies.

Historians might also tell you that armies travel best on roads.

And in Illinois, for decade upon decade upon decade, all the roads have led to Bill Cellini, the low-key multimillionaire boss hog Republican. Chieftain of the road builders, Cellini was at the heart of the bipartisan Illinois Combine.

Cellini made his fortune through his political connections, working with Republican governors on questionable inside deals from gambling casinos to real estate, all of it from his power base in Springfield. But it’s what he allegedly did with Democrat and convicted former Gov. Rod Blagojevich that finally landed Cellini in a federal indictment.

On Oct. 3, Cellini will stand trial in federal court in Chicago. If you’re there you’ll see a little guy in his late 70s in a dark suit, unassuming, a thin man wearing a Julius Caesar-style haircut.

And if you’re interested in how Illinois politics works — not the speeches of the puppets and the gamesmanship of their media lickspittles, but the real politics of hard leverage for big money — then you’ll pay attention.”

“”I’ve fought him my entire career,” Sen. Fitzgerald once told me about Cellini. “And for near 40 years, Cellini has been calling the shots from behind the scenes in Springfield. He’s gotten very rich off the taxpayers. Very rich.”

But Cellini stayed to pull the strings. And the Illinois Republican Party ran Pete Fitzgerald out of politics. So don’t tell me there’s not a Combine. The Cellini trial, one of the last chapters of the federal government’s Operation Board Games investigation, will lay out how the Combine works.

Powerful Illinois Republicans team up with powerful Illinois Democrats, and some earthy characters are thrown in. One is convicted political fixer Tony Rezko, fundraiser and real estate fairy to President Barack Obama, and fundraiser to Blagojevich as well.”

“He flew under that radar year after year, without getting much publicity. Fools like Blagojevich preen and demand media attention. Guys like Cellini prefer to count their coin in the shadows.”

“Think of a spider in the middle of a web, and all those silky strands bring him information on what’s coming for dinner.

A spider with hair combed forward over the forehead.

I can’t wait for October.”

William Cellini trial, Prosecutors outline case against power broker Cellini, Blagojevich Rezko Levine

william Cellini trial, Prosecutors outline case against power broker Cellini, Blagojevich Rezko Levine

From the Chicago Tribune September 7, 2011.

“Prosecutors outline case against power broker Cellini
Longtime Springfield insider faces corruption, bribery charges”

“Weeks before longtime state power broker William Cellini is set to stand trial, federal prosecutors detailed evidence they have against him, including statements he allegedly made about what to do if law enforcement closed in and about his decades of navigating Illinois politics.

A longtime Republican fundraiser, Cellini cozied up to Democrat Rod Blagojevich during the 2002 governor’s race and struck a deal with Tony Rezko and Chris Kelly, two of Blagojevich’s closest advisers, authorities said. He faces charges of extortion, conspiracy and bribery.

He is accused of agreeing to raise money for Blagojevich as a way to protect his power and influence in Springfield, specifically at the state teacher pension board. He is also accused of trying to shake down a Hollywood producer for campaign contributions for Blagojevich.

In the filing, the government alleges that Cellini, who was a presence in Illinois politics for four decades, discussed his longevity in a February 2004 meeting on an upcoming allocation of $4.8 billion in pension board money.

Cellini recounted to the group — which included Stuart Levine, who was also charged with public corruption — about a meeting he had just had with Rezko and Kelly.

“Upon arriving, defendant said he had just come from a meeting with Rezko and Kelly, and he was upset with them,” the document reads. “He told Rezko and Kelly that they were moving too fast and were going to get themselves in trouble. Defendant said he told Rezko and Kelly that they should take defendant as an example: He had been doing this for 30 years and had always stayed above the fray.”

The filing also details a call in May 2004 between Cellini and Levine. During the recorded call, Cellini allegedly discusses the potential for an investigation and how he allegedly told Rezko and Kelly to have a cover story ready about their relationship with him.”

“The trial is set to begin on Oct. 3.”

Patrick Fitzgerald apolitical?, Fitzgerald attacked Republicans protected Obama, Chicago Tribune protecting Obama?

From the Chicago Tribune August 28, 2011.

“Patrick Fitzgerald’s decade

His apolitical ground war against public corruption argues for keeping
patronage out of these appointments.”

“Which brings us to an excellent argument for keeping these
appointments apolitical: If the traditional patronage system of naming
U.S. attorneys in Chicago consistently had produced the best possible
top prosecutors, would the Illinois culture of political sleaze have
become as rampant, as pervasive, as it had grown by the turn of this
century?”

“U.S. attorneys nationwide serve at the pleasure of the president. Thus
far the current one, Barack Obama, has kept his campaign promise to
leave Fitzgerald in Chicago rather than replace him or, almost as bad,
promote him to oblivion higher in the U.S. Department of Justice.”

“Until he says otherwise, then, we trust that Patrick Fitzgerald will
keep rolling out indictments where they’re warranted.”

Blagojevich trial

Protecting Obama

Part 4

Blagojevich arrest  intentially delayed

“I was not going to wait until March or April or May to get it all nice and tidy”

“I think that would be irresponsible.”…Patrick Fitzgerald, December 9, 2008, Blagojevich arrest

Those are interesting statements by Fitzgerald.

The question is, why did Patrick Fitzgerald and the US Justice Department wait until December 2008 to arrest Rod Blagojevich?

The prosecution in the Rod Blagojevich trial rested their case Tuesday, July 13, 2010.

Tony Rezko has not been called to the witness stand. Nor has Stuart Levine. Nor have a host of others with corruption ties to Blagojevich and Obama.

The US Justice Department had plenty of evidence indicting Rod Blagojevich by 2006. Why did the US Justice Department wait until December 2008, after the election, to arrest Blagojevich?

Who made the decision to wait to indict Blagojevich?

Was Patrick Fitzgerald involved in this decision?

I think that would be irresponsible.” Yes, Fitzgerald, I agree.

From the Blagojevich complaint December 7, 2008.

“From in or about 2002 to the present, in Cook County, in the Northern District of Illinois, defendants did, conspire with each other and with others to devise and participate in a scheme to defraud the State of Illinois and the people of the State of Illinois of the honest services of ROD R. BLAGOJEVICH and JOHN HARRIS, in furtherance of which the mails and interstate wire communications would be used, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1341,1343, and 1346; all in violation of Title 18 United States Code, Section 1349.
“Since approximately 2003, the government has been investigating allegations of illegal activity occurring in State of Illinois government as part of the administration of Governor ROD BLAGOJEVICH. As further detailed below, the investigation has developed evidence that: (a) beginning not later than in or about 2002, ROD BLAGOJEVICH has conspired with multiple individuals, including, beginning not later than in or about October 2008, JOHN HARRIS, to devise and participate in a scheme, which used and contemplated the use of the mails and interstate wire communications, to defraud the State of Illinois and its residents of the honest services of ROD BLAGOJEVICH and JOHN HARRIS by corruptly using the office of Governor of the State of Illinois to obtain and attempt to obtain personal gain, including financial gain, for ROD BLAGOJEVICH and third parties with whom he is associated;”
Blagojevich’s involvement in corruption did not begin in 2008.

“From in or about 2002 to the present, in Cook County”

From the Stuart Levine Indictment, May 9, 2005. (The SPECIAL MARCH 2004 GRAND JURY charges)
“CHICAGO – Three Chicago area executives – one of them a former member of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board, which controls medical facility construction projects in Illinois, and one a managing director of Bear Stearns & Co., an investment firm that arranges financing for public works projects in Illinois – were indicted on federal charges for allegedly engaging in insider-dealing, influence-peddling, kickbacks and corruption involving their private interests and public duties, federal officials announced today. One defendant, Stuart Levine, a lawyer and businessman, allegedly engaged in a fraud scheme to obtain a total of at least $9.5 million for himself and certain associates,

Stuart Levine – 19 counts of mail fraud, 4 counts of wire fraud, 2 counts of misapplication of funds, 2 counts of money laundering and one count of extortion – a businessman whose interests included S.L. Investment Enterprises, L.P., and a former member of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board (Planning Board), a state commission appointed by the Governor that grants or denies a permit, known as a “Certificate of Need” (CON), to build hospitals, physician offices or other medical facilities statewide. Levine was also a member of the board of trustees of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, formerly known as Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School (Chicago Medical School or CMS) in North Chicago, and he was chairman of its real estate committee. Timeline is revealing

Patrick Fitzgerald was aware of Blagojevich’s corruption in 2003

“Pamela Meyer Davis had been trying to win approval from a state health planning board for an expansion of Edward Hospital, the facility she runs in a Chicago suburb, but she realized that the only way to prevail was to retain a politically connected construction company and a specific investment house.

Instead of succumbing to those demands, she went to the FBI and U.S. Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald in late 2003 and agreed to secretly record conversations about the project.”

Before the Tony Rezko trial began in March 2008, the USDOJ and the FBI had more than enough to arrest Blagojevich and plenty on Obama. Stuart Levine had already provided the information revealed in the trial and more.
Patrick Fitzgerald obtains more details of Obama’s ties to Rezko and corruption in 2007.

Kenneth J Conner was a whistleblower in the Rezko Obama lot sale transaction. Conner was interviewed by the FBI in 2007.

From the Washington Times, November 4, 2008.
“A former Illinois real estate specialist says FBI agents have questioned him about a Chicago property that had been bought by convicted felon Tony Rezko’s wife and later sold to the couple’s next-door neighbor, Sen. Barack Obama.

The real estate specialist, Kenneth J. Conner, said bank officials replaced an appraisal review he prepared on the property and FBI agents were investigating in late 2007 whether the Rezko-Obama deal was proper.

“Agents and I talked about payoff, bribe, kickback for a long time, though it took them only a short number of minutes of talking with me while looking at the appraisal to acknowledge what they already seemed to know: The Rezko lot was grossly overvalued,” Mr. Conner told The Washington Times Monday.

“Rezko paid the asking price on the same day Obama paid $300,000 less than the asking price to the same seller for his adjacent mansion,” he said. “This begs the question of payoff, bribe, kickback.””

I have had many conversations with Mr. Conner, on and off the record.
By delaying the arrest of Blagojevich, two important things occurred.

More harm was done to the citizens of Illinois.

Obama was spared prosecution and association with crime figures. This allowed Obama to win the election.

Before the Rezko trial ended, the Illinois senate attempted a recall against Blagojevich.

Why wasn’t Blagojevich arrested by then?

May 2, 2008
“SPRINGFIELD—The Illinois Senate on Thursday narrowly defeated a measure aimed at giving voters a chance to recall Gov. Rod Blagojevich, but lawmakers on both sides of the issue blasted the embattled governor during a debate that raised statehouse tensions to a new level.”

Here are just a few bits of testimony from the Rezko trial. The government had this information many months before.

March 21, 2008

“Stuart Levine thought he had hit the jackpot when he teamed up with Antoin “Tony” Rezko, the fundraiser for Gov. Rod Blagojevich who seemed to be able to get the administration to do anything he wanted. Levine’s third day on the stand at Rezko’s corruption trial was a sometimes wandering exploration of how Levine and Rezko exploited that immense clout in a variety of schemes to allegedly line their pockets.

“I have never been in a better position than I am right now,” Levine was heard bragging on a government wiretap. “Part of the reason is because there’s never been such tight control of the central apparatus. This guy is making decisions ? and can get anything done that he wants done.””
March 19, 2008

“But Blagojevich’s name has been mentioned often. It was brought up at least 30 times Wednesday morning by Stuart Levine, the government’s star witness against Rezko.

At one point, Levine described a flight from New York that he shared with Blagojevich Oct. 29, 2003. Levine had chartered the plane to ferry Blagojevich and others to a series of fundraisers.

On the return to Chicago, Levine said he took the opportunity to thank Blagojevich for re-appointing him to a seat on a state hospital regulatory board that prosecutors now say he and Rezko had corrupted to extort kickbacks from firms seeking regulatory approval.

Levine said the governor responded, “Never discuss any state board with me, discuss them with either Tony Rezko or Chris Kelly.” Kelly, along with Rezko, was a top fundraiser for Blagojevich as well as a close friend.

Then Levine said Blagojevich added: “But you stick with us and you’ll do very well for yourself.”

Asked by a prosecutor to elaborate, Levine said, “I took that to mean you have an opportunity to make a lot of money.””

This is important!

Even if the USDOJ was waiting for the Rezko trial to end. It ended in June 2008, well before the election.

Obviously they did not need Rezko’s testimony.
It is obvious from the above that the feds had plenty on Blagojevich.

Now read remarks made by Fitzgerald and the USDOJ.

Fitzgerald aggressively prosecuted Republicans

Former Gov. George Ryan December 31, 2003

“Mr. Fitzgerald announced that he was prosecuting former Gov. George Ryan, a Republican, in a scandal that had been swirling around long before Mr. Fitzgerald got here and that many people thought would never touch the most powerful politicians in Illinois. But there Mr. Fitzgerald was, a week before Christmas, ticking off the details of a 91-page indictment against Mr. Ryan, seemingly from memory.”
Through a spokeswoman, Mr. Fitzgerald declined to be interviewed for this article. Instead, the office issued the four-sentence release. ”Mr. Fitzgerald will become engaged on the matter immediately,” the release said. ”Consistent with the usual practice concerning investigations, Mr. Fitzgerald does not intend to comment any further.”

http://www.nytimes.com/2003/12/31/us/man-in-the-news-an-independent-prosecutor-patrick-j-fitzgerald.html?ref=patrick_j_fitzgerald&pagewanted=2
Fitzgerald did not wait years to go after Libby and Rove.

“It was at the insistence of Rove’s lawyer, Donald Luskin, that Rove went back and re-examined his call logs and discovered the call to Cooper. Rove presented that information to the Grand Jury and the astonished Fitzgerald whose team had missed it.

But curiously, Fitzgerald attempted to use this disclosure to accuse Rove of being misleading in earlier testimony where he had failed to recall the phone conversation.

It became clear to Rove that Fitzgerald wasn’t looking for a violation of law in the Plame case but to set a perjury trap and carve another notch on his belt by bagging a top White House honcho.”

MAY 9, 2005
Stuart Levine Indictment

“Individuals who serve on public boards or boards or private institutions and charities must serve the interests of the public or the institution and not steal for themselves,” Mr. Fitzgerald said. “Beyond owing basic duties of honesty and integrity, hospital Planning Board members play an important role in providing access to health care while containing costs. The indictment charges that Levine instead sold out his duties and gave out state approvals and hospital contracts on the basis of ‘who you know’ and worse, ‘who you pay,’” he added.

Levine pleads guilty October 11, 2006
“Levine, 60, of Highland Park, a lawyer who also served on the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board (Planning Board), was charged in the same counts as Rezko in the superseding indictment. Levine, whose attorney, Jeffrey Steinback, authorized the government to disclose that Levine is cooperating with the government, is scheduled to plead guilty in the TRS case on Oct. 27 before U.S. District Judge Amy St. Eve.”
““This indictment describes a frenzy of corrupt scheming, particularly in April and May 2004, in which political insiders sought to manipulate the activities of two state boards to fleece investment firms and individuals. The defendants and their associates put the word out loud and clear: you have to pay to play in Illinois,” Mr. Fitzgerald said.”

http://www.justice.gov/usao/iln/pr/chicago/2006/pr1011_01.pdf

Blagojevich arrest December 9, 2008
“Fitzgerald said, “We make no allegations” that Obama was aware of any alleged scheming by Blagojevich.”

“Fitzgerald called the corruption charges against Blagojevich “a truly new low.””

“Robert Grant, FBI special agent in charge of the Chicago office, characterized Illinois’ place in the pantheon of political corruption.

“If it isn’t the most corrupt state in the United States, it’s certainly one hell of a competitor,” Grant said. “Even the most cynical agents in our office were shocked.””
“Fitzgerald said the investigation into Blagojevich continues, but authorities acted today to avoid further harm taking place.

“I was not going to wait until March or April or May to get it all nice and tidy” and bring charges, he said. “I think that would be irresponsible.””

http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2008/12/us-attorney-fitzgerald-press-conference-blagojevich.html

It is apparent to me that a deal was struck with the US Justice Department and that Patrick Fitzgerald was involved in the decision or minimally, was aware of it. The Justice Dept. had more than enough evidence to indict Blagojevich at the latest by the time Stuart Levine agreed to cooperate by August 5, 2006. They actually had enough wiretap evidence without Levine cooperating. Once Blagojevich was too tainted by investigation and Obama was being groomed for the presidency, Obama had to be protected.

Let me make this perfectly clear. I am accusing the US Justice Department of corruption, of being complicit in delaying the arrest of Rod Blagojevich until after the 2008 elections. Furthermore, the Justice Department has purposefully reworded the Indictment and refrained from calling witnesses and revealing testimony that would be further damning for Blagojevich and Obama. This is a criminal act which must be prosecuted.

I am calling for a congressional investigation.

I am also calling for more whistleblowers to come forward. Your identity will be protected.

More US Justice Department corruption coverage to come.

Dick Cheney outs Colin Powell, Powell agenda must be scrutinized, Cheney book sheds light on Powell and Patrick Fitzgerald, Libby and Rove victims

Dick Cheney outs Colin Powell, Powell agenda must be scrutinized, Cheney book sheds light on Powell and Patrick Fitzgerald, Libby and Rove victims

“These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.”…Thomas Paine

Citizen Wells readers, fellow Americans, we have a three for one, a trifecta, in this article. While the focus of the article is on Colin Powell, the real Colin Powell, whose agenda now must be scrutinized, Patrick Fitzgerald and the Chicago Tribune will be exposed for their agenda. But first, Powell.

Dick Cheney has a new book out, “In My Time: A Personal and Political Memoir.”  Cheney was interviewed by Rush Limbaugh today. During the interview Cheney explained that Colin Powell knew that Richard Armitage was the source of the Valerie Plame leak and allowed Scooter Libby and Karl Rove to be investigated. Cheney also mentioned our good friend Patrick Fitzgerald, who was recently praised by the Chicago Tribune for being apolitical. More on that later.

From the Washington Post August 29, 2011.

“Colin Powell’s cheap shot”

“On “Face the Nation” yesterday, former secretary of state Colin Powell accused former vice president Dick Cheney of taking “cheap shots” in his about-to-be released memoirs. However, in taking on Cheney’s account of the Valerie Plame matter, Powell is the one who misleads and distorts.

Powell had this to say in response to Cheney’s book, which lays blame on Powell’s deputy Richard Armitage as the real leaker who revealed Plame’s identity as a CIA employee, setting off the appointment of a special prosecutor and the eventual conviction of Scooter Libby. Powell says this:

Then he goes on to talk about the Valerie Plame affair, and tries to lay it all off on Mister Rich Armitage in the State Department and me. But the fact of the matter is when Mister Armitage realized that he was the source for Bob Novak’s column that caused all the difficulty and he called me immediately, two days after the President launched the investigation and what we did was we called the Justice Department. They sent it over the FBI. The FBI had all the information that Mister Armitage’s participation in this immediately. And we called Al Gonzalez, the President’s counsel, and told him that we had information. The FBI asked us not to share any of this with anyone else, as did Mister Gonzalez. And so, if the White House operatives had come forward as readily as Mister Armitage had done, then we wouldn’t have gone on for two more months with the FBI trying to find out what happened in the White House.

There wouldn’t have been special counsel appointed by the Justice Department who spent two years trying to get to the bottom of it. And we wouldn’t have the mess that we subsequently had. And so if the White House and the operatives in the White House and Mister Cheney’s staff and elsewhere in the White House had been as forthcoming with the FBI as Mister Armitage was, this problem would not have reached the dimensions that it reached.

Let’s count the ways in which this is inaccurate or misleading. To begin with, Powell leaves out the critical fact: He and Armitage never told the president what Armitage had done. Instead, they sat silent as the investigation played out and others, including Karl Rove and Libby, were ensnared in an investigation for a crime that, if committed at all, was one for which Armitage should rightly have been prosecuted. Powell on Sunday slyly said they informed the attorney general that they “had information.” But they most definitely did not tell him, the president or the country that the leaker was Armitage.

The best account of this comes from Michael Isikoff, hardly a Cheney or Libby apologist. In his book, he explained what unfolded after Armitage told Powell about his role in the leak:

The next day, a team of FBI agents and Justice prosecutors investigating the leak questioned the deputy secretary. Armitage acknowledged that he had passed along to Novak information contained in a classified State Department memo: that [ Joe] Wilson’s wife worked on weapons-of-mass-destruction issues at the CIA… [William Howard Taft IV, the State Department’s legal adviser] felt obligated to inform White House counsel Alberto Gonzales. But Powell and his aides feared the White House would then leak that Armitage had been Novak’s source — possibly to embarrass State Department officials who had been unenthusiastic about Bush’s Iraq policy. So Taft told Gonzales the bare minimum: that the State Department had passed some information about the case to Justice. He didn’t mention Armitage. Taft asked if Gonzales wanted to know the details. The president’s lawyer, playing the case by the book, said no, and Taft told him nothing more. Armitage’s role thus remained that rarest of Washington phenomena: a hot secret that never leaked. [Emphasis added.]
Notice that in Isikoff’s account the FBI never told Armitage and Powell to keep quiet. No, the secrecy was their idea. Moreover, Powell states that White House aides were not “forthcoming.” We know, of course, this is false. Numerous aides were dragged into FBI interview and grand jury rooms, required to pay for counsel and, in the case of Libby, prosecuted and convicted while the actual leaker’s identity remained secret. Talk about cheap shots.

Recall how all of this played out. Armitage and Powell allowed the entire country and troops in the field to believe a lie, namely that the White House had “outed” Plame. This, aside from the galling display of moral cowardice, also put the president’s reelection in jeopardy since Democrats were all too intent on making this into a huge scandal.

The extent of the dishonesty is quite stunning. In a Cabinet meeting on October 7, 2003, the White House press corps bombarded President George W. Bush with questions about who the leaker was. Bush said he didn’t know, but there would be an investigation to get to the bottom of it. Powell, who had been told by Armitage just days earlier that Armitage was the leaker, sat there next to the president, stone silent. Not very loyal or honest, was it?

Moreover, the notion that Armitage’s slip was somehow inadvertent is belied by Bob Woodward’s taped interview in which Armitage repeatedly mentions Joe Wilson’s wife, evidently doing his best to get Plame’s identity out there. This was no slip of the tongue. Woodward testified that when he spoke to Libby sometime later that Libby never said anything about Plame.

At issue here is not simply Powell and Armitage’s deception and undermining of their commander in chief. There was a victim, one whom neither Powell or Armitage has ever apologized to. The person who ultimately paid the price for this was Scooter Libby. Had the president and the country known about Armitage, a special prosecutor would never have been appointed. Libby was eventually convicted on the basis of a he-said-he-said dispute between his recollection and that of the late Tim Russert. (Charges concerning Libby’s alleged comments to Judy Miller were dismissed, and he was acquitted on the count involving Matt Cooper.) A compelling case for Libby’s innocence can be found in this account by Stan Crock.

Powell may be peeved at being fingered by Cheney. But on this one Cheney has him dead to rights. The Plame is a blot on his record and that of Armitage.

Maybe it is time to own up and make amends rather than bristling at Libby’s former boss.”

From Citizen Wells August 15, 2011.

“On August 8, 2011, the Birther Summit issued a challenge to General Powell  based on the following:

“It was reported in May of this year that you told South Carolina State University’s 400 graduates that you particularly enjoyed a recent event: “. . . when President Obama took out his birth certificate and blew away Donald Trump and all the birthers!””

Despite the fact that you have been informed that the image placed on WhiteHouse.gov was fraudulent, you have failed to respond to the challenge. I have no other recourse than to call you a traitor and coward. I will say this to your face unless you respond according to your oath.”

Blagojevich prosecutors oppose retrial, Deny allegations of bias, Blagojevich 158 page motion, Prosecution 133 page motion

“I believe I’m more pristine on Rezko than him.”…Rod Blagojevich

“Will Obama be thrown under the bus”

From the Chicago Tribune August 23, 2011.

“Blagojevich prosecutors deny allegations of bias”

“Responding to former Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s motion to dismiss his June conviction on public corruption charges, federal prosecutors in a filing late Monday rejected  allegations of bias, saying trial decisions were focused on facts and evidence relevant to the charges.

Blagojevich filed a 158-page motion in late July, saying his case should be dismissed because of alleged widespread judicial and prosecutorial bias against him.

“In reality, there was no bias, manipulation, or unfairness on the part of the prosecution, judge or jury. Defendant was fairly convicted by a jury of his peers based on overwhelming evidence, and his post-trial motions therefore should be denied,” prosecutors said in their filing.

U.S. District Court Judge James Zagel, the judge at trial, will eventually rule on whether to dismiss the case. While that outcome would appear highly unlikely, the defense filing offered a glimpse of the likely issues that Blagojevich’s lawyers will target in an eventual appeal with a federal appellate court.

A federal jury convicted Blagojevich in June on 17 of 20 wire fraud, bribery, attempted extortion and conspiracy counts, including allegations he tried to sell the U.S. Senate seat left open by Barack Obama’s election to president in 2008.

The former governor was also convicted at his first trial last summer on a single count of lying to the FBI. The jury, however, deadlocked on all the other counts, setting the stage for the retrial. Blagojevich is set to be sentenced Oct. 6.

The government, in the 133-page motion, dealt with some of the more headline-grabbing allegations made by the defense, including the idea that there were missing phone calls amid the numerous wiretaps the government presented as evidence during the trial.

One of those calls involving former Blagojevich chief of staff John Harris, the government said, was simply not recorded and therefore not available.

“The likely reasons why the call was not intercepted are that Harris took the call on a non-wiretapped phone line, or that the call took place during a time his phone line was not being monitored,” the motion reads. “As the records provided to the defense make clear, there was no break in the wiretaps and no deletion of recordings that would account for this call not being recorded,” the government said of one of the calls.”

Obama arrest after Eric Holder removal?, US Justice Department corrupt, Holder protects Obama, Rezko Levine Cellini Frawley et al

“Now, I don’t get upset when foreign and national journalists fail to mention Tony Rezko, or the Daley boys, or how the Chicago machine plans to staff the Department of Justice, and the new Department of Homeland Casinos.”…John Kass, Chicago Tribune July 30, 2008

Those of you following this blog since 2008 know that I have covered the Chicago corruption connections to Obama, starting with Tony Rezko, but including many more cronies who have been indicted or are now dead. I stated in 2008 that Obama had to get elected to avoid prosecution himself. After taking the White House, Obama appointed another crony, Eric Holder as Attorney General and reassigned federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald.

I have also concluded that the fix was in in 2006. Rod Blagojevich, the presumptive presidential candidate was exposed and Barack Obama, who was just as tainted by Chicago corruption, was annointed and protected.

Is there a White House insider who is leaking credible information? I am not certain. However, what I am certain about is that the information being “leaked”  is based on reality.

From Citizen Wells March 9, 2011.

“Is there a White House insider leaking information about Obama? I do not know. However the information being presented as coming from an insider rings true.

From News Flavor March 9, 2011.

“But what about a big scandal?  What about the big scandal?  The one you hinted at several times before?

(Sighs)  Yeah…what about it then?  You tell me.  What about it…

That doesn’t sound too encouraging.  So the scandal – it doesn’t exist?

Oh, it exists.  It’s out there.  Parts here and there you know?  Pieces of the puzzle.  Look, I was led to believe it was evolving and would break out either right before or soon after the November elections.  That didn’t happen.  I think I shared some of this with you before, right? I shared it with you – maybe someone else. Some others.  Getting hard to keep track of all of this…anyways, when Pelosi didn’t leave, she stayed on…that shook us up pretty bad.  Something went down that we did not see coming, we didn’t know what, or who, or why, or how…the shit just hit the fan and we were caught flat footed.  Not a good thing in this business.  Not when you’re dealing with these kinds of forces.  I’m not too proud to say I was scared at that moment.  Really shook up.  And I’ve been in a few political  shit-storms in my day.”

“Follow through with what?  You said it would start with the DOJ and then head back to Chicago.  What was it?  Do you even know?

Specifically, no.  Actually, yes – but not any one thing for certain…it’s so many things – such a deep dark pit.  It was more a generalized “this is what is coming down the pike and it could lead all the way to the White House”. That was told to me directly by someone well in the know on such things, at the time anyways. They weren’t comfortable sharing it – but they weren’t exactly upset it existed either.  Now they’re gone…(pauses) And Pelosi was livid against this White House – at least at the time.  It got back to her the White House wanted her gone, that she was considered a big liability to the administration… she was very upset, and ready to go to war. She was even throwing out birther threats – you remember that? Then all of  it just…vanished.  Gone. Done. The information coming out of her office went silent.  So after the elections we turned to Issa’s potential, as well as hoping for an assist from someone at the Post.  There were assurances Issa had what was needed and was going to move the scandal forward.  Then soon after I was told his office was meeting with Obama people more and more often – and more recently we get Holder just closing down the NBP  investigation and not a word on it from Issa or other Republican leaders.  So can we count on Issa?  I don’t think so – and without that, then this thing goes from tough to impossible, right?

The Black Panther thing though…that doesn’t seem to have been enough of a scandal to impact the Obama White House.  That wasn’t it was it?

First, I disagree with you there.  It had potential to be big – not so much in the actual crime, but as is always the case – it’s the cover-up.  That’s why I kept telling you to follow it.  Our Justice Department is being run by racism.  It is an extension of the racism that permeates the Obama White House.  The First Lady, Valerie Jarrett, and yes, President Obama – all of them are consumed by the politics of race, division, retribution…and the NBP case ties directly to all of that.

But racism isn’t a crime.

No it isn’t – but government initiated discrimination is a crime.  And that is what the NBP case represents.  Did you hear the testimony of Holder?  The “my people” thing?  That is stunning stuff right there.  Are you kidding me?  “My people”?  Tell me this country ain’t being run by racists after that!  Tell me!

I still don’t see the Black Panther case as a scandal big enough to do much harm to Obama.  What—

(Interrupts) No-no…you right on that.  That was to be the catalyst…(pauses) sayin’ too much here maybe.  This thing could still unfold – don’t wanna to say too much.  The NBP situation was going to lead to further investigations into the Obama Justice Department.  You see, it’s the Justice Department that is the firewall for the administration.  For EVERTHING – and the stuff that could destroy the Obama White House…it starts at Justice, and then leads to Chicago.  Now the evidence of that fact is already there.  For Eric Holder to so visibly shut down the NBP case was actually a desperate move.  That would not have happened without some panic having set in.  He could be burned for that and maybe that’s the plan.  Allow himself to be the fall guy, line up somebody else that will do just as good a job – perhaps better, at continuing to protect Obama – keep a lid on the information, the garbage, all the crap that surrounds who he is and where he came from. Probably be a white guy to minimize the charges of racism in the department.   You’ve actually commented on some of that stuff more than you realize already.  And I’ll say this – the numbers of Obama operatives running around Chicago these days is off the charts.  This White House is spooked about that.  Bank on it.  No pun intended there.

You said earlier that Obama was more confident these days though…

He is.  Pelosi backed off.  Issa appears to have done the same.  Holder is holding the line.  Information coming out of Chicago is still being limited – clamped down upon.  That doesn’t mean they aren’t nervous.  They are.  Watch the Blagojevich thing – the trial.  The deal to be made.  Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.  And what happened to Rezko?  That’s part of the same deal.  A company called Companion Security…Blago, Rezko, the Feds.  It’s all brewing – maybe boiling over?  Of course the national media is burying all of this.  Most of it – that’s partly why we gotta back off.  The risk, the exposure, it’s too great.  We need help – help that I thought was coming but never fully materialized.

Rezko?  That could still be a problem for Obama?

(Laughs)  Yeah – do you think?  Hell yeah it could be a problem.  The guy has been holed up in jail waiting for sentencing.  Why?  Why so long?  Holder’s people are all over that thing – just like Blago.  Obama is in the mix of that mess for sure.  Does anybody really dispute that?  But you see, it’s the Justice Department’s complicity in protecting Obama during the ongoing investigations – talking current crimes here now… that is what can really sink them.  Not that there is just bank fraud, RICO  laws that were broken, payoffs, intimidations, – that’s all basic Chicago business as usual, right?  But now add the White House’s handling of all of that since Obama became President  – now you got a presidential scandal.  Now you got an investigation that leads to uncovering all of that mess.  Now you got grounds to legally go after Holder, Jarrett, and even the President of the United States.  Hell, through in the First Lady too…

So you think President Obama should be impeached?

Impeached?  -Expletive- no.  That’s too good for him.  President Obama should be arrested. What’s that word you used a while back – sedition?  Well there you go – that pretty much sums up this whole stinking cesspool of a White House right there.   Look, I was suspicious of this guy before – but based on what I was told these past few months…the man, those around him (pauses) …this president is the most corrupt thing to have sat in the White House in our lifetimes.  Being part of that campaign in 2008…it makes me sick.  Do you understand what I’m saying?  Sick.  To have played any part in getting him elected…Obama isn’t just incompetent…he’s something else. Something worse.  I’ve been around a lot of asshole-arrogant politicians.  Plenty of those.  Even a few outright criminals.  This is different.  This is a whole other level of corrupt.””

like I’ve always told you, Holder is the Obama firewall.  Holder is
the stop-gap to everything.  Every fucking thing.  You head up the DOJ
you can pretty much stamp out 99% of anything coming at a president.
Do you understand that?  I know—

Ulsterman:(Interrupts) …I understand what you’ve told me.  You were
right on about the DOJ.  I’ll give you that, deservedly so.  And
you’re also right, at least from what I can recall, that nobody was
honing in on a DOJ scandal before you were.  And that’s where we are
at now – a significant DOJ scandal.  But after months of the scandal
first breaking, Eric Holder remains the Attorney General.  And the
Gunrunner story seems stalled.  And I worry it’s gonna go away.  Just
like the New Black Panther case did.”

“Ulsterman(interrupts) —Staying with Congressman Issa.  Can you just
say straight on if you believe he will follow through on bringing a
special prosecutor to investigate Gunrunner?  Just a simple yes or no
on that please…

Insider:  That kind of thing will take more than just Darrell Issa.
Good news is, it’s forming right now.  I’ve told you that already and
you have no reason to doubt it.  The negotiations are currently
underway for a special prosecutor and the signs are looking very-very
good on that, which is a huge development for all of this – for what
we have been working toward.  But let’s not get into more details on
that just yet – I don’t intend to help fuck this one up.  Just rest
assured it’s moving along, and at a much faster pace than I would have
thought possible just a month ago.

Ulsterman:  Let’s say Holder resigns and what you keep referring to as
“Obama’s firewall” is removed. What then?

Insider:  (Smiles) What then?  Oh…I think you would be satisfied with
the result.

Ulsterman:  That’s too vague.  What then?  It makes sense to me that
Eric Holder in his position as Attorney General has significant powers
– almost unlimited powers it would seem, to protect Barack Obama,
Valerie Jarrett, and anyone else needed in order to keep President
Obama in power.  Even if Holder goes though, couldn’t they simply
install someone else in his place to continue that protection?

Insider:  Finally you are asking the right questions!  And that is
EXACTLY what the Obama machine is already attempting to prepare for –
Holder’s replacement.  Issa and others are watching this stuff right
now, with a strong assist from a certain Democrat senator.  The
problem is, there will be a gap between the protection Eric Holder
provides now, and the protection his replacement could provide.
Information can then be uncovered that is currently tucked away behind
the cloak of the Obama Department of Justice.  When Holder is on his
way out, the truth is gonna move in.  We just need that window of
opportunity to make it happen.  It’s gonna happen.  Just give it a bit
more time.

Ulsterman:  And then back to Chicago?

Insider:  Yes…Chicago.  Maybe Hawaii too.  (winks)”

“Ulsterman:  You keep stringing me along on this thing.  You once
didn’t want to hear anything related to questions about Obama’s birth
record and now you seem more willing to entertain the possibility.
Why the change?  What do you know?

Insider:  Hell – I think I…I think I more than entertain the
possibility.  I have read some of the stuff you sent me.  How much is
true or not I can’t say.  I really can’t.  I have access to what-what
some people are saying, or what they are worried about, or what they
might be planning. And I have years of experience that helps me put
one and two together to try and figure out what is coming down the
political pike.  And I have associates with access to their own
information who agree with me that Barack Obama was a huge fucking
mistake for the party and for America.  But  I don’t have some super
secret Obama file.  If I did I would most likely already be dead.  I
don’t know if it’s about his place of birth or if it’s something else
that those records could reveal, but what I do know is that Barack
Obama is covering something up related to that stuff.  The guy is
hiding something there.  I am sure of that. Everything points to that
being the case. The stuff you send me…look, a lot of it I just trash.
I admit that.  I’ve looked over some of it though, and some of it
sounds…possible.  Maybe even probable.  But I don’t have a hand in any
of that.  Getting Eric Holder out of the DOJ, defeating Barack Obama
in 2012 – that’s my thing.  If somebody else wants to prove Obama
isn’t who he says he is – more power to them…and join the fucking
club.”

“None of this is beyond the norm though.  Where it gets different for
the Obama campaign is what I’ll just call the Obama Plan.  They are
going way beyond simply working up your typical campaign scenarios
against potential opponents.  The president – I was told of this about
a week ago, maybe two weeks ago…(pause)… the president actually
considered quitting.  He really did.  But now he’s going on the
attack.  He wants to give a big F-You to White America – that’s
actually one of his primary motivations.  You think the race card has
been played up before?  Just wait.  2012 is gonna be the most brutal
political cycle we have ever witnessed.  Ever.”
