NC Grand Jury Indictment of Obama, update, May 14, 2009, media attention, Observer News Enterprise in Newton, NC, Media and Congress will be accountable

I was born and raised in NC and though I have traveled over much of the US and some abroad, I have lived in NC all of my life. NC is a great state and I was always proud of it until this last election cycle. People known for having common sense and voting their conscience, regardless of political affiliation, lost their compass and like their counterparts in Nazi Germany, were mesmerized into voting for “change” and a candidate they knew little about.

The veil covering reality has been partially lifted and the real Barack Obama is beginning to appear. Citizen Grand Juries across the country are presenting indictments against the unqualified, usurper Obama. A strong case for treason is also being presented. Earlier today, the Citizen Wells blog brought news of a Grand Jury Indictment in NC. We have just been notified that a newspaper in Newton, NC has inquired about the indictment. It is hoped that the Observer News Enterprise will do their job and report on this important historic action. The Citizen Wells Blog will follow up on this and with your help we can “coax” other news media to actually do their jobs. Let your news outlets know that you want this covered.

Here is the update that we received:

“Believe it or not, I just received an e-mail from the editor of the Observer News Enterprise in Newton, NC, requesting that I answer a number of questions about my recent filing of the Obama indictment with Catawba County. (letter on request)  Here is my response in the form of a Letter To The Editor:”

“As many know, there is quite a controversy concerning Barack Obama’s eligibility to hold the office of President of the United States.  This controversy has spread to other nations and America’s credibility is now at stake among foreign governments.

On May 13, 2009, I filed, with the Catawba County Clerk of Court’s office, an indictment of Barack Hussein Obama for the commission of fraud and treason.  This indictment was handed down, on May 9, by a Citizen’s Grand Jury composed of jurors located in various states of the United States.  All laws governing Grand Juries were complied with.  The indictment was filed locally because it is the duty of any and all district attorneys to act on criminal charges… and I live here.  As I understand it, the indictment has been filed in other states in addition to North Carolina.

It is the hopes and expectations of the Grand Jury, and others, that District Attorney James C. Gaither will honor his Oath of Office and investigate these accusations.  If he will do so, it will require his bringing this case before a judge.  Once that is done, the judge will grant discovery.  “Discovery” is a term used to require that both sides put their cards on the table.  This is to avoid “trial by ambush”.  Once Mr. Obama is forced to submit his actual birth certificate, his school records, his college records and his immigration records, (which he has spent approximately one million dollars in concealing) the controversy will be settled.  He will either continue to be president or he will be removed from office.

This is not about Barack Obama. It is about our Constitution which states, “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President…”

Mr. Obama has not satisfied this question.  It is now up to the courts to decide.”

“I also included the info below:”

“FYI

On his first day in office, January 21, 2009, Obama signed Executive Order 13489.  This order was entered into the Federal Register on January 26, 2009.

What this executive order says, is that only the Attorney General (Eric Holder) and Council to the President, (Gregory Craig) are able to review presidential records requests and determine if they can be made public or not. (See Section 3)

In other words, you aren’t going to see any records or documents that Obama doesn’t want you to see.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Obama’s first official act was to deny access to his records.  Obama has lived for 48 years without leaving any footprints — none!  There is no Obama documentation — no bona fides — no paper trail — nothing.

Manchurian Candidate

Part 3

Communist, Soviet, Russian plans

I decided to provide this as Part 3 because of it’s historical significance and clarity of relativity to our current situation with the usurper Barack Obama.

I am part of the first wave of Baby Boomers and grew up in a time of keen awareness of the Soviet and communist threats. We had air raid drills in grade school and everyone watched motionless as reports of the Cuban Missile crisis were broadcast on TV. Daily we were made known that the communists planned on controlling the world with words from Nikita Kruschev that “We will bury you.”  So the report below from the Congressional Record of 1963 has no surprises for me. However, it is a good reminder for me and a wake up call for younger generations. As, you read the statements below, I am certain they will resonate with you and you will instantly relate them to this now, four part series.

Current Communist Goals

EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Thursday, January 10, 1963

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and

articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier,

which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in

America.

At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the

following “Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The

Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen:

[From “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen]

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a

demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and

regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in

1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to

suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand

that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces.

(Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by

Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in

the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by

claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current

Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put

the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which

are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing,

policymaking positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression.

An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and

buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness,

repulsive, meaningless art.”

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation

of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity

in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit

the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a

“religious crutch.”

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground

that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of

step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide

basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had

no concern for the “common man.”

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American

history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more

emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the

culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist

apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all

behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can

understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining

coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents.

Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of

parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the

American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use

[“]united force[“] to solve economic, political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for selfgovernment.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court

from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction]

over nations and individuals alike.

Note by Webmaster: The Congressional Record back this far has not be digitized and

posted on the Internet.

It will probably be available at your nearest library that is a

Your college library is probably a repository. This is an excellent source of government

records.

Another source are your Congress Critters. They should be more than happy to help you

in this matter.

You will find the Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto interesting at this point.

“Press Briefing Transcripts

CDC Telebriefing on New England Journal of Medicine Articles on H1N1 Flu

May 7, 2009, 4 p.m. ET”

“>>> Welcome and thank you for standing by.  At this time, all participants are in listen-only mode until the question and answer period of today’s conference call.  During the question and answer session, you may press star one to ask a question.  At this time, I’ll turn the call Over to Mr. Dave Daigle.  You may begin.

>> Hi, this is Dave Daigle, with CDC Media Relations, thank you for joining us on this short-notice telebriefing to discuss two “New England Journal of Medicine” publications: The Emergence of Novel Swine-Origin Influenza A H1N1 Virus in Humans and Human Infections with Triple-Reassortant Swine Influenza A (H1) in the U.S. from 2005 to 2009.  Joining us today are Drs. Michael Shaw, Lyn Finelli, Carolyn Bridges and Fatimah Dawood. I think we’re going dispense with opening statements and just go right into the questions.  So can we have the first question, please?

>> Thank you, again. If you would like to ask a question, please press star one.  Our first question comes today from Donald McNeil with “The New York Times.” You may ask your question.

>> Hi.  In reading over the article about the triple-reassortant swine influenza A. I’m assuming this is tracing infections that do not include the Eurasian swine sequence found in the patients in the current outbreak, and I wondered if you can tell us more about whether or not that Eurasian swine strain had ever been found in the United States, whether you can tell from genetic sequencing where it got into the combination along with these triple reassortants or give us any details of that.

>> Those genes had never been seen in the Americas before.

>> Wait one second, this is Dr. Michael Shaw.

>> Thank you.

>> This was the first time they had been seen in any virus in any human or animal.  And the genetic lineage of the virus we can trace back, there’s clearly a gap in the surveillance because there are no really close relatives, nothing that we can say was an immediate precursor.  Because of this new finding, a lot of researchers in the field are going back through their archives now, digging through their freezers to see if they had something that was overlooked but there’s absolutely nothing in the literature, nothing publicly available and nothing that our colleagues knew about when this was first found.

>> This is Carolyn Bridges.  I think it’s also important maybe to just point out and maybe you want to take questions over to USDA as well, but from our understanding, there were no importation of pigs into the United States from Eurasia.

>> Next question, please.

>> Our next question comes from Maggie Fox with Reuters.

>> Oh, darn, I wanted someone else to ask some first.  Can we go back over that, what is it that’s new and any hint as to whether somebody might have carried this reassortant to Mexico or whether it emerged there considering the surveillance we have is of people who had that triple-reassortant in the U.S.

>> This is Michael Shaw again.  Genetics are indicating that the origin of this virus apparently happened before anyone was aware of it occurring in animals or humans.  It was six of the genes were similar to what had already been seen in the Americas circulating in pigs and that we knew about.  The acquisition of these two new Genes from the Eurasian lineage have never been seen in the Americas.  There is importation of pigs, the way I understand, too to Europe and Asia for breeding purposes, but not the other way around.  So whether it might have come into this hemisphere by a person or an animal, we have no idea.  There’s just not — we’re not in a position to say right now.

>> Thank you, Maggie.  Next question, please.

>> Thank you, our next question comes from Mike Stope from Associated Press.  Ask your question.

>> Hi, thanks, doctors, for doing this.  Two questions.  The first one, I saw in one of the articles, we saw this in I think the MMWR2, 38% of cases in the U.S. looking at the U.S. cases also involved vomiting or diarrhea.  That’s not typical of seasonal influenza.  What explains that in this virus?  Can you give us any information about what is it about this virus that’s causing those symptoms at a higher amount?

>> Yes.  This is Fatimah Dawood.  We did find in the first 642 cases or patients who are diagnosed with swine-origin influenza virus infection that 25% either had diarrhea or vomiting.  This is a new virus and we’re still learning how transmission occurs.  But because we’ve made this observation, we are recommending that clinicians think about transmission not only through a respiratory route but also through the gastrointestinal route as fecal-oral transmission, but it’s not fully understood what role those symptoms played yet.

>> Thank you, Mike.  Next question, please.

>> Thank you.  Our next question comes from Heidi Sloot with “Internal Medicine News.”  You may ask your question.

>> Hi.  Thanks for taking my question.  This is sort of a follow-up to the previous question.  What right now is the take-home message then for clinician relating to this as far as symptoms to watch for or what to tell patients?

>> This is Fatimah Dawood again.  In our paper, again we looked at the first 642 cases and we found that the majority of people with confirmed swine-origin influenza virus infection had symptoms that are typical of seasonal influenza.  Those would include fever, cough and sore throat, which are the three most common symptoms observed.  As mentioned previously, diarrhea and vomiting were prominent symptoms as well, so what I would say is that clinicians and people should be aware of those symptoms and I think that as members of the community have symptoms that are concerning to them, they should discuss that with their clinician.

>> Thanks very much.  Next question, please.

>> Thank you, our next question comes from Daniel Denude with webmd.

>> Thanks for taking my question.  I have to push beyond this.  Perhaps you all noticed there was also a paper published at the same time about the signature features of pandemic flus in the past and it strikes me that these flus continually seem to have some of the features that we’re seeing here, striking younger people, and that there is a wave phenomenon.  I wonder if you could comment on the risk groups that you’re seeing for this virus and what we might expect looking forward from our experience with pandemic flu about what future waves of viruses tend to look like as they tend to become pandemic.  I know that’s a wide question but I appreciate you addressing it.

>> This is Fatimah Dawood.  You know, I would say that this is an evolving outbreak and we’re still learning about how this virus works, but what we observed in our paper is that 60% of confirmed cases occurred in people who are 18 years of age and younger.  Now there may be several possible explanations for that. One is the possibility that younger people are more susceptible to the virus, but there may also be a bias in the way that we are finding cases right now because the numbers of cases were identified in school outbreaks and still more young people are being tested right now.  There is also the possibility that older people may have some antibodies to other influenza viruses that give them cross protection against the current virus.  I think it’s difficult to make predictions at this point.

>> This is Dr. Carolyn Bridges. In terms of the second part of your question about what we might expect, of course we’ll have to sort of wait and see, that’s always the tricky part with influenza.  We never sort of know what we’re going to get until we get there.  But with past pandemics where there’s been a novel strain where there has been initiation or introduction of that virus, the initial outbreaks if they occur in the summer are generally milder.  We know that the influenza virus, in general, prefers lower humidity, lower temperatures for transmission.  So as we’re in the summertime, we expect it to be seasonal influenza but what we’re likely to see is some transmission that occurs over the summer with the possibility that in the fall when the weather turns cooler again that we might see an increase in cases that will be looking closely toward the southern hemisphere, during their winter that is coming up to see what happens and that may give us some clues as to what we might expect in the upcoming winter months here in the United States.

>> Thank you very much.  Next question, please.

>> Our next question comes from John Warren with Bloomberg News, you may ask your question.

>> Hi.  Thanks for taking my question.  Yeah, I was wondering if you could talk more about whether the ancestors of this virus may have been circulating in people before it was in pigs and whether that might have given immunity to older people.  Thanks.

>> This is Michael Shaw.  Well, ultimately all of the ancestors of this particular swine strain and circulating seasonal H1N1 can be traced back to the 1918 pandemic.  That virus established itself both in humans and in pigs.  And they’ve been evolving along separate tracks.  And in the process being both mammalian species they’ve maintained the ability to go back and forth, which is what we’ve seen obviously, for example, in the other paper we’re talking about today that they are able to make the jump.  What’s unusual about this particular case, is that it’s able to apparently establish sustained transmission.  What’s clear from what we’re seeing genetically and just the behavior of the virus, it was already well-adapted for transmission in humans before it popped up in this particular case.  But ancestors are the same.  You can trace them all back to 1918.

>> Thank you, John.  Next question, please.

>> Thank you.  Our next question comes from Elizabeth Weiss with “USA Today.”  You may ask your question.

>> Hi.  Thanks for taking my call.  This is follow-up on that then. You talked about there may be a missing link in observation or surveillance.  How much observation and surveillance is there worldwide and how likely is it that you would actually see something close to real-time virus like this popping up?

>> This is Carolyn Bridges.  I think what we can say is that we certainly are much better prepared this year than we would have been a few years ago.  And although what we were preparing for most urgently was potential emergence and spread of H5N1, the avian virus, those investments have paid off in spades.  And so we have invested from the U.S. government with many colleagues from different countries.  Other donors in increasing laboratory capacity in countries around the world.  So I can’t tell you for sure how early we might be able to identify — have identified this virus, but we certainly are in much better shape than we would have been even just two years ago.

>> Thanks.  Next question, please.

>> Thank you, our next question comes from Mary Manning with “Las Vegas Sun.”  You may ask your question.

>> Yes.  Thank you for taking my question.  I’d like to know if there’s been any studies done on how long this virus lasts when it gets out in the environment?

>> This is Michael Shaw.  There have been no — we haven’t had the virus long enough to do studies on this particular one.  All I can go by is past experience with other influenza viruses.  It depends on the environmental conditions.  It survives better on a hard surface than a porous surface, for example.  It’s inactivated quickly at higher temperatures.  Those are just general facts about flu.  But these particular strains, people are working on it.  We haven’t done — don’t have that information yet.

>> Thanks very much.  Next question.

>> Thank you, our next question comes from Brian Thompson with KS public radio.  You may ask your question.

>> Hi.  Thanks for this opportunity.  As for the predecessors of this virus that emerged in pigs in the late 1990s, the humane society of the U.S. has made the argument that intensive factory farming is responsible for the shift in the genes that caused all this to happen.  I’d like you — Juergen Rick at Kansas State University, by the way ,argues that backyard pigs would be more susceptible because they are exposed to more viruses left by bird droppings and such.  So I would like you to weigh in on that, please.

>> This is Carolyn Bridges.  I’m not sure we can really speculate about that, given what we believe based on the data that we have available from the genetic databases is that we don’t have any precursors like this in the United States despite tremendous amount of surveillance that goes on here in the U.S.  So I can’t speculate.  I wouldn’t able to say one way or the other.

>> Thanks very much.  Next question.

>> Thank you.  Again, I’d like to invite parties who would like to ask a question, press star one.  Record your name prior to asking a question.  Our next question comes from Carrie Peyton with Sacramento Bee newspaper.  You may ask your question.

>> Hi.  Thanks for taking this question.  As we continue to do genetic analyses of these virus throughout the southern hemisphere flu season, what markers, if we start seeing changes in different markers, which ones would be especially troubling.  What areas of the genome do we not want to see change or would be early signs of it changing in ways that could make it much more prominent?

>> This is Michael Shaw, there’s several critical parts of the genome that we look at.  Obviously the one primary concern right now is the determinants of resistance to the antiviral agents.  That’s going to be a high priority to continue monitoring.  Also any potential changes in the surface proteins that could potentially complicate selection of a vaccine strain.  As you know, under ordinary circumstances circulating influenza varies a great deal which is why the vaccine has to be updated every year.  There is the possibility that once it starts circulating more wide lane and different populations that you’re going to see, subpopulations popping up that could not be reactive with whatever vaccine strain might be chosen.  So we just have to keep an eye on changes in general, but the ones we look for in particular are the ones that are affecting the genetic makeup of the proteins that react with the vaccine and antiviral resistance or susceptibility.

>> Thanks very much.  Next question.

>> Thank you.  Our next question comes from Mike Shope with Associated Press.  You may ask your question.

>> Here’s the second question I was trying to ask earlier.  There’s a little bit more detail on the chronic conditions that the severe cases in the U.S., especially in the cases of the two deaths, the 22-month-old child had it looks like four conditions and a pregnant woman had several including autoimmune disease that was under treatment.  Can you tell me about those constellations of underlying conditions.  Would seasonal flu have killed those patients given those conditions?  Or are you learning anything about the patients who suffered severely who had underlying conditions?  What’s working together there?

>> This is Fatimah Dawood.  I think we’re still learning about what patients are still most at risk for swine origin influenza virus and complication of that infection.  But what we do know from seasonal influenza is there are groups of people with characteristics with a higher risk.  That includes children younger than age 5, people with chronic underlying medical conditions.  Pregnant women and adults older than 65 years of a and one thing that we looked at in the 642 patients that were described in this paper and then in the subset of patients who were hospitalized, we had data for 22 patients.  About half of those patients had one of those characteristics.  Which does suggest that those groups of people may be at higher risk.  Those groups may not be the only groups but certainly we are seeing that those groups are well represented amongst the people who are hospitalized at this point.

>> Thank you it, Mike.  Next question.

>> Thank you, our next question comes from Elizabeth Sweeth with “USA Today.”  You may ask your question.

>> Thanks again.  Just a quick question, I’m reading these paper, some of the facts are actually from May 5th.  I’m wondering when are these going to published and have you all ever done this quick a turnaround before I don’t recall having seen it.

>> This is Lyn.  I may be here the longest of anyone at this table.  I have never seen such a paper come out so quickly, I don’t think.  Is that what the question was?

>> Right.  I mean there’s data in there from two days ago.  When I’m wondering when is it going to come out in print?  From your memories, some of the AIDS papers came out quickly, but quickly went three or four weeks.  I have never seen anything show up two days later.

>> I think print of both of these papers is going to come out the first week of July.

>> This is Carolyn Bridges, but I understand these version are available online to anyone, not just by subscription, anyone would have access to these papers.

>> This is Fatimah Dawood.  I would just add to that this paper is an effort by so many people in county and state health departments as well as CDC to really make this information available as soon as possible to people.

>> Yeah, and this is Michael Shaw.  I want to emphasize we were getting this genetic information out basically as soon as we had it.  We had the first gene segments up there in April 25 and made special arrangements at NCBI and NIH to have them released essentially as they were submitted so.  April 27th, things started to getting up on the NIH, NCBI website right away as soon as we had the data.  There was no holding back of it.

>> Operator, this is Dave.  I think that was our last call.  So I want to thank everybody for taking the time to join us today to ask questions.  We’ll plan another daily update briefing tomorrow, regular CDC press briefing.  Thanks, everyone.

>> Thank you.  At this time, that does end this conference.  All parties may disconnect.

Obama administration, Fall flu shots, Fall 2009, three flu shots, 3 unprecedented, new swine flu virus, annual seasonal influenza, Washington Post article May 6, 2009, federal health officials, pandemic experts are working with the administration

Be on alert, the government is “watching out for us” again.

From the Washington Post, May 6, 2009:

“Washington Post Staff Writers
Wednesday, May 6, 2009

The Obama administration is considering an unprecedented fall vaccination campaign that could entail giving Americans three flu shots — one to combat annual seasonal influenza and two targeted at the new swine flu virus spreading across the globe.
If enacted, the multibillion-dollar effort would represent the first time that top federal health officials have asked Americans to get more than one flu vaccine in a year, raising serious challenges concerning production, distribution and the ability to track potentially severe side effects.

Another option, said Dale Morse, chairman of the advisory committee on immunization practices at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is adding to the seasonal flu shot an ingredient targeted at the new virus.
Experts in and out of the administration are evaluating a raft of complicated issues, including who ought to receive an inoculation against the swine flu and whether private vaccine makers can simultaneously manufacture the standard 180 million doses as well as up to 600 million rounds of a new vaccine.

“We are moving forward with making a vaccine,” said Robin Robinson, a director with the Department of Health and Human Services who oversees pandemic response programs. Robinson said that although a formal decision about the swine flu vaccine has not been made, if the government goes ahead, it would probably produce two doses for all Americans. If the threat diminishes, he said, health officials could decide to produce doses for only a portion of the population.

Vaccine and pandemic experts are working with the administration to determine how to produce, test, track and educate the public about two different influenza vaccines in the same flu season.

“They have never tried this before, and there is going to be a great deal of confusion,” said William Schaffner, chairman of the Department of Preventive Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.

Memories of the nation’s earlier experience with a swine flu vaccine present another challenge. In 1976, hundreds of Americans developed neurological disorders after they were vaccinated for a swine flu strain. The public was asked to receive one of two vaccines developed to combat the strain.

Rhino Times, Greensboro, NC, John Hammer, Real news, truth about Obama and government

We were in Greensboro, NC over the weekend and as usual picked up a copy of the Rhino Times, one of the few newsprint outlets in NC that tell it like it is. Unlike other papers in large cities of North Carolina such as the Charlotte Observer, they did not drink the kool aid and attempted to expose the truth about the real Barack Obama. Editor in chief, John Hammer, is in the forefront of exposing Obama with his column “Under The Hammer.”

Here is a segment from “Under The Hammer” dated April 30, 2009:

“Under the Hammer

April 30, 2009It appears we have elected a man president whose main claim to fame is that he reads well from a teleprompter. Whatever is there he reads with a predictable pacing that people seem to like. When it said “privacy” on the screen instead of “piracy,” he read privacy even though it made no sense.

When the teleprompter can’t keep up he motions for it to move faster and apologizes to the audience. Wouldn’t it be nice if he had some idea what he was saying and could give a five-minute speech without having to read the exact words off a screen?

I guess we are getting what we deserve. For years the media has allowed people who sit in front of cameras and read from teleprompters to call themselves journalists or reporters. Many are not. They don’t write the stories, they just read them, like Ted Baxter on The Mary Tyler Moore Show or Ron Burgundy in Anchorman. These caricatures are all too real. But nobody wants to admit that the people reading the news on television are often just pretty faces who read well. We pretend that they actually go out, get the information and write the stories even though we know it isn’t true.

When Dan Rather got caught with a false story about former President George W. Bush, he of course blamed it on his producer – the person who actually researched and wrote the story – while at the same time not admitting that he didn’t write his own news.

So for years we have had people pretending to be reporters and the nation has gone along with the farce. Now we have a man pretending to be president. He has the same skill set as the network newsreaders: He reads well from a teleprompter. We know that he will read whatever is there because we do not have a problem with “privacy” on the high seas. The scary part is that Obama doesn’t flinch or get a puzzled expression on his face when the teleprompter is wrong; he just continues to read whatever is put before him on the teleprompter.

We know that he will stop reading when the teleprompter can’t keep up because he doesn’t ad lib. He stops and tells the technician to get it fixed.

When he was in France, Obama said that he didn’t know what the word for “wheeling and dealing” was in Austrian. It is a true statement because Austrian is not a language any more than American is a language. The people in Austria mostly speak German. Americans mostly speak English.

Imagine if former President George W. Bush had made that statement. In fact, former Vice President Dan Quayle said something similar about knowing Latin when he was going to Latin America. The press made great fun of him over and over again, but it is a statement that makes sense. If you know Latin you can understand some Spanish, as well as other romance languages.

The press made Quayle out to be an idiot for making a perfectly reasonable statement. Obama made a statement about a language that does not exist, and that is not even mentioned in the mainstream media.

To find out about Obama’s mistakes you are better off reading British newspapers than American newspapers, or you can watch Fox News.”

Russell Dunham, World War II, Medal of Honor, Washington Post, April 8, 2009, Sgt. Dunham, 3rd Infantry Division, German fox holes, German machine guns, Greatest Generation passing

First of all, let me say that I have nothing but respect for the
Greatest Generation, the generation that survived the Great Depression
and saved the world from Nazi domination. Today in the obituaries, I
read of the passing of another American hero. The exploits of Russell
Dunham against German forces in World War II are another example of
the self sacrifice common among the Greatest Generation and harder to
find in the current masses of “me” individuals in our midst.

From the Washington Post, April 8, 2009.

“On Jan. 8, 1945, Tech. Sgt. Dunham’s company, part of the 3rd Infantry Division, was facing a formidable German force at the small town of Kayserberg, France, on the Franco-German border. The men were issued white mattress covers as camouflage in the deep snow.

Heavily armed, Sgt. Dunham scrambled 75 yards up a snow-covered hill toward three German machine gun emplacements. He took out the first bunker with a grenade.

Advancing toward the second, he glanced around to call up his squad and a bullet hit him in the back, tearing open a 10-inch gash. As he struggled to his feet, a grenade landed nearby; he kicked it away before it exploded.

He then crawled through the snow to the machine gun and lobbed his own grenade into the bunker, killing two Germans. His carbine empty, he leaped into the foxhole and hauled out a third enemy soldier by the collar.

In excruciating pain, his mattress-cover overcoat now stained a conspicuous red, Sgt. Dunham ran 50 yards to the third machine-gun emplacement and took it out with a grenade. As German infantrymen began scrambling out of their foxholes, Sgt. Dunham chased them down the back side of the hill. He and his elder brother Ralph, who was in the same unit, encountered a fourth machine gun; the older Dunham took it out.

A German rifleman who shot at Russell Dunham at point-blank range but missed became the ninth German he killed that winter morning.

His back wound had yet to fully heal when Sgt. Dunham returned to the front. On Jan. 22, his battalion was surrounded by German tanks at Holtzwihr, France, and most of the men were forced to surrender.

Sgt. Dunham hid in a sauerkraut barrel outside a barn but was discovered the next morning. As the two German soldiers who found him were patting him down, they came across a pack of cigarettes in his pocket and began fighting over it. They never finished their search, so they missed a pistol in a shoulder holster under his arm.

Later in the day, his two captors transported him toward German lines. The driver stopped at a bar, the second soldier’s attention wandered and Sgt. Dunham shot him in the head. He set off toward American lines in sub-zero temperatures.

By the time he encountered U.S. engineers working on a bridge over the Ill River, his feet and ears were frostbitten. A medic working to save his feet from amputation told him that the commanding officer had intended to recommend him for the Distinguished Service Cross but had changed his mind. The young man from Illinois, the officer had decided, deserved the Medal of Honor. ”

NY Times, Acorn, Obama, March 30, 2009, Times pulled story, Obama ties to Acorn, House Judiciary subcommittee, Game changer story, Anita Moncrief, confidential informant, Times reporter Stephanie Strom, close link between ACORN, Project Vote and the Obama campaign

The NY Times, long known to be biased, pulled a story about Barack
Obama’s campaign ties to ACORN. The story was pulled on October 21,
2008 because it would have been a “a game changer.”

“‘New York Times’ Spiked Obama Donor Story”

“Congressional Testimony: ‘Game-Changer’ Article Would Have Connected
Campaign With ACORN

By Michael P. Tremoglie, The Bulletin
Monday, March 30, 2009

A lawyer involved with legal action against Association of Community
Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) told a House Judiciary subcommittee
on March 19 The New York Times had killed a story in October that would
have shown a close link between ACORN, Project Vote and the Obama campaign
because it would have been a “a game changer.”

Heather Heidelbaugh, who represented the Pennsylvania Republican State
Committee in the lawsuit against the group, recounted for the ommittee what
she had been told by a former ACORN worker who had worked in the group’s
Washington, D.C. office. The former worker, Anita Moncrief, told Ms.
Heidelbaugh last October, during the state committee’s litigation against
ACORN, she had been a “confidential informant for several months to The New
York Times reporter, Stephanie Strom.”

Ms. Moncrief had been providing Ms. Strom with information about ACORN’s
election activities. Ms. Strom had written several stories based on
information Ms. Moncrief had given her.

During her testimony, Ms. Heidelbaugh said Ms. Moncrief had told her The
New York Times articles stopped when she revealed that the Obama presidential
campaign had sent its maxed-out donor list to ACORN’s Washington, D.C. office.”

““If true, The New York Times is showing once again that it is a not an
impartial observer of the political scene,” he said. “If they want to be a
mouthpiece for the Democratic Party, they should put Barack Obama approves
of this in their newspaper.””

“The past, he reflected, had not merely been altered, it had

George Orwell, “1984”

I would like to thank the Washington Post for providing an
excellent example and the readers of this blog for alerting
me to this Orwellian example of revisionist history straight
out of “1984.”

If you have not read “1984” by George Orwell, our present
times and conditions make it a must read for survival.

Yesterday, the Citizen Wells blog presented a second article on
the arrest of 2 individuals in the Washington DC office
that was headed by Obama’s technology czar, Vivek Kundra, as
recently as a few days ago. This article came from a Washington
Post article dated March 13, 2009. Last night Citizen Wells
was notified that the Washington Post article had been changed.

After some investigating, it was discovered that the whole
nature of the article had been changed. Consider the
following:

The citizen Wells article dated March 13, 2009 revealed several
aspects of the Washington Post article that are potentially
damaging to Barack Obama.

“Obama Official Placed on Leave”

“Vivek Kundra, who was tapped as the White House technology czar
March 5, oversaw technology projects and budgets for 86 D.C.
government agencies as head of the District’s Office of the Chief
Technology Officer.”

“Yusuf Acar, 40, who has worked in the technology office since
2004, was charged with bribery, conspiracy, money laundering and
conflict of interest.”

“FBI agents carted away boxes and envelopes from the Office of
the Chief Technology Officer throughout the day.”

“Acar also told the informant that he could use computers to
create fake D.C. birth certificates, Hibarger said.”

“The scam began unraveling in March last year”

“The informant approached the FBI and began wearing a hidden
recording device and secretly recording phone conversations
involving Acar and Bansal.”

Here is the Washington Post article that has been completely
rewritten. It is located at the same link in the Citizen Wells
article dated March 13, 2009. Notice that the header has nothing
about Obama:

“D.C. Technology Office Scandal Revives Questions of Cronyism

By David Nakamura
Washington Post Staff Writer
Saturday, March 14, 2009; Page B01

Last summer, Vivek Kundra, then the D.C. government’s chief technology officer, introduced a massive overhaul of the way

his agency hired about 300 consultants.
Responding to vendors’ complaints that the contracting process was unfair and rife with cronyism, Kundra received $75

million from the D.C. Council to create the Information Technology Staff Augmentation program to foster greater

transparency and accountability. Kundra hired a company to help the city weed out unqualified résumés, established a

central online database to advertise contracts and disclose who won each one, and posted video solicitations for jobs

online. The ITSA program, he told council members during an oversight hearing in August, was a more open and more fair

way of doing business in the District.

But this week, the technology agency was rocked by a bribery scandal that brought the allegations of cronyism back into

full view and raised questions among consultants about whether anything has changed. Federal authorities have alleged

that Yusuf Acar, a manager in charge of information security, conspired with a contractor named Sushil Bansal to bilk

the city of money in a scheme that involved “ghost” workers and kickbacks. Both men have been arrested.

Questions submitted to Mayor Adrian M. Fenty’s office about the technology office’s contracting process, including

whether the hiring decisions by project managers were reviewed by higher-ranking authorities, were not answered

yesterday. Kundra, who left the technology office last month after President Obama appointed him the nation’s chief

information officer, has not been identified as a suspect in the D.C. case. He has been placed on administrative leave

pending the outcome of the federal investigation and declined to comment.

“We have to find the right balance and find the right checks and balances,” said council member Mary M. Cheh (D-Ward 3),

who recently took over the committee that oversees the technology office.

City Administrator Dan Tangherlini said the scheme that Acar and Bansal are accused of running predates the

implementation of ITSA in October.

Consultants who work with the technology office said yesterday that the bribery allegations emphasize their long-

standing complaints that the agency lacks sufficient oversight to ensure that contracts are awarded fairly. They

described a system in which project managers have virtually unabridged authority to issue “purchase orders” for

consultants and then decide which ones receive the contracts.

Furthermore, they said, some managers making the hiring decisions used to work for the consulting companies that are

making bids, and some of the consultants once worked as full-time city employees. Bansal worked for the city before

founding Advanced Integrated Technologies about six years ago.

“How can we even trust these people anymore?” asked Laurie Collins, owner of a small information technology consulting

firm that has worked with the city. Collins and other consultants complained that a group of fewer than 10 firms win a

disproportionate bulk of contracts, even though the city has 97 registered technology vendors.

Bansal’s firm won 14 of the 167 contracts, including two awarded by Acar, issued through ITSA so far.

Under ITSA, the city hired Optimal Solutions and Technologies to oversee the contracting process. That company set up a

Web site to post job openings and solicit résumés. The résumés of qualified candidates are then sent to D.C. project

managers without company affiliations, a tactic aimed at trying to eliminate potential company biases from the managers

making the hiring decisions.

But consultants said it is easy for vendors to sidestep that safeguard by telling the managers ahead of time which

résumés to look for.
Tim Booker, owner of the consulting firm MindFinders, said managers have developed close relationships with specific

vendors and are hesitant or unwilling to award contracts to other firms. Because of that, it is difficult for the city

to ensure that it gets the best value and services for each contract.
“Managers are not willing to break old habits,” he said. “What it requires is leadership and training and oversight.”

Under their alleged scheme, Acar approved contracts for Bansal’s company for the purchase of goods and services. But

Bansal billed the city for some services that were not provided and workers who did not exist, splitting the proceeds

with Acar, according to the affidavit. Bansal’s company has received $13 million in city contracts, including some from

other managers in the technology office and at least one other city agency.

Michael Master, owner of the consulting firm GiniCorp, opposed the implementation of the ITSA program last summer during

a D.C. Council hearing. But yesterday, he said he did not blame the system for failing to stop Acar and Bansal.
“There’s a longtime culture of bending the rules in this city,” Master said. “Whether the process is transparent or not,

which the whole ITSA thing was supposed to be, you can put in all the rules and laws, but bad people will always find a

way to get around it. This just proves that.”

Staff writer Nikita Stewart contributed to this report.”

Charlotte Observer, March 13, 2009, Vivek Kundra, Obama article, Obama technology aide, Obama campaign, FBI raid, Obama Chief Technology Officer Vivek Kundra, Yusuf Acar and Sushil Bansal arrested by FBI

The Charlotte Observer once again proves it’s bias and
irresponsible reporting by hiding negative news about
Barack Obama and providing the most positive spin about
a damaging news story. This comes as no surprise. The
Observer endorsed Obama early in the election year and
provided no coverage of the many corruption ties. A
commenter on this blog has expressed this well:

“Friday, March 13, 09

I Almost missed a very short article buried on page 14a along side giant ads for an end-of- season clearance sale that took 4/5 of the page.
The article was in the CHARLOTTE OBSERVER with an innocent small lead line of “An Aide to President Obama is on leave from his White House Job”.
Normally I would not read anything on page 14a, but this was the most important atricle in this newspaper this morning…..and it was buried without pomp along with the ads.
Of course the article was about VIVEK KUNDRA and his hi-tech computer technology company. The article stated  2 of Kundra’s employees had been arrested in a raid by the FBI in D.C. and were being held without bond. Also found at the home of one who was arrested (Yusuf Acar-sounds like an Arab too me) was over $70,000 in CASH.
What the article DIDN’T say was that KUNDRA ran Obama’s internet operation during his campaign operations! What the article didn’t say was Obama received millions and millions of questionable contribution dollars during his primary and general election campaigns by computer! Also what the article didn’t say was this was an ongoing investigation which went back quite some time! What the article didn’t say was what was OBAMA’s connection to Kundra and this illegal operation! What the article didn’t say was why no bond was granted to the 2 people arrested…were they flight risk?
I think this story has long legs and will fly once the full truth is known.
The big question remains….will “Slick Barry” take his place along side the others involved in this fraud, or will he slide again?
I doubt the OBSERVER will ever print the truth about this matter considering they have already drank the Obama Kool-Aide, but thats ok. The bloggers will cover it fully!”

Dr Robert Weinstein, Pleads guilty to tax fraud, March 11, 2009, Chicago Tribune, Business partner, Stuart Levine, Tony Rezko, Obama ties, Blagojevich, Illinois Health Planning Facilities Board, Weinstein indictment, wire and mail fraud, Corruption

From a Chicago Tribune article dated March 11, 2009:

“The longtime business partner of convicted influence peddler Stuart Levine pleaded guilty Tuesday to failing to disclose on his tax return some $3 million he stole from a charity.

Dr. Robert Weinstein, 63, of Northbrook faces 2 to 3 years in prison in connection with a complex fraud scheme in which he and Levine cheated Northshore Supporting Organization, a charity the two controlled. The charity supported the work of the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, which lost a combined $6 million in the scheme. Both men sat on the board of the North Chicago medical school.

Weinstein, a self-described private investor for the last decade, admitted that he understated his income by $3 million on his 2003 tax return when he actually made $9.2 million. Weinstein, who is scheduled to be sentenced on July 1, didn’t agree to cooperate in the federal probe.

Weinstein was indicted last June on charges of wire and mail fraud and making false statements. But last week prosecutors charged him with a single tax fraud count after he agreed to plead guilty.

Levine has become an important government witness in the federal investigation of corruption in the administration of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, providing key testimony at the trial of Antoin “Tony” Rezko, a top Blagojevich adviser who was convicted of extorting firms seeking state business.”

What the Chicago Tribune has been leaving out is Weinstein’s
link to Obama via Tony Rezko, Stuart Levine as revealed in
the indictment of Dr. Robert Weinstein. The common denominator
is the Illinois Health Planning Facilities Board.

“1. At times material to this indictment:
a.
Stuart Levine, a resident of Highland Park, Illinois, was a businessman and a member of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board (“Planning Board”).
b.
The Planning Board was a commission of the State of Illinois, established by statute, whose nine members were appointed by the Governor of the State of Illinois. State law required an entity seeking to build a hospital, medical office building, or other medical facility in Illinois to obtain a permit, known as a “Certificate of Need” (“CON”), from the Planning Board prior to beginning construction. Issuance of a CON required a majority vote of the Planning Board.
c.
Antoin Rezko, also known as “Tony” Rezko (“Rezko”), a resident of Wilmette, Illinois, was a businessman and a fund-raiser for candidates for elected office.
d.
There was a federal criminal investigation into allegations of mail fraud, wire fraud, bribery, political corruption, and other criminal activities in connection with the operations of certain State of Illinois boards and commissions, including the Planning Board. Among other matters, this investigation concerned the appointment of, control of, and directions given by third parties to members of the boards and commissions. One aspect of this investigation related to Stuart Levine and those associated with him, including Rezko and WEINSTEIN, and to the nature and scope of the business, personal, and financial relationships among and between them. It was material to this investigation to learn whatinfluence Rezko had in connection with the boards’ and commissions’ operations.
2. On or about May 24, 2004, at Chicago, in the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, and elsewhere, ROBERT J. WEINSTEIN, defendant herein, knowingly and willfully did make materially false, fictitious, and fraudulent statements and representations in a matter within the jurisdiction of the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the Department of Justice, an agency of the United States government, in that WEINSTEIN stated to a Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent that Levine never told WEINSTEIN that Rezko had influence over the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board, whereas at the time WEINSTEIN made this statement and representation, WEINSTEIN knew the statement and representation was false because, in truth and fact, WEINSTEIN and Levine discussed Rezko’s influence over the Planning Board, including in a recorded conversation on April 21, 2004 in which they discussed Rezko’s involvement in the Planning Board and Levine explicitly advised WEINSTEIN of Rezko’s role in manipulating the Planning Board’s vote earlier that day on the CON application of Mercy Health System Corporation Hospital, as well as other Planning Board matters;
In violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1001(a)(2).”
