NPR insults Tea Party Movement, National Public Radio insults Americans, Learn to speak Tea Bag, Ellen Weiss, Cartoon is staying up, NPR values, civility and civil discourse, Alicia C. Shepard

Many years ago I listened to NPR and Rush Limbaugh. I considered that a balanced approach to getting information. There were many decent shows on NPR (National Public Radio), my favorite being “Car Talk.” In the early nineties some of the NPR shows would slip in what I considered elitist, condescending comments about politicians and those of differing political opinions, but it generally did not get out of hand. I began listening less and less to NPR because a trend developed of increasing elitist comments, “we know more than you do.”

Recently NPR crossed over the line with a wholesale attack on average, hard working, patriotic Americans. The following was posted here, January 5, 2010.

“NPR Shows Everyone How to Speak ‘Tea Bag’… with OUR Money”
“Prominently displayed on the National Public Radio (NPR) web site is a new cartoon titled, “Learn To Speak Tea Bag.” Of course, Tea Party activists don’t ever use the term “tea bag,” a phrase that refers to a sexual act and which has been used by the media to demean the entire tea party movement.”
NPR insults hard working, concerned, patriotic Americans

Apparently NPR, in lock step with their kindred spirits Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama, is so out of touch with reality that they believe the Tea Party Movement is composed of a bunch of Right Wing extremists. Nothing  could be further from the truth. And this attitude comes from an organization that claims to present the news.
To add insult to injury, NPR has come out with a response. This response is no apology. The first part is an attempt by
Alicia C. Shepard to diffuse the controversy. The last part reveals the attitude of NPR management.
From the NPR ombudsman, Alicia C. Shepard, January 8, 2010.
“Loud Protests on NPR’s ‘Tea Party’ Cartoon”
“When the “Learn to Speak Tea Bag” cartoon making fun of “Tea Party” activists was published on Nov.12, there were 5 comments. By 6 p.m. this past Monday, there were 258. By Wednesday night, over 1,100 people had commented and it was still the most-recommended link on NPR’s web site. On Monday and Tuesday, calls came in every 10 minutes. Over 300 wrote to me — most of them angry.

The 90-second animation, which creator Mark Fiore calls satire, rather summarily dismisses participants in the Tea Party movement as inarticulate, paranoid bumblers. The video “teaches” the viewer to speak conversational “tea bag.”
Moderator: Finally, learning a new language doesn’t have to be hard. You can be fluent in conversational tea bag in just a few short minutes. Lesson one: Don’t get distracted by the confusing words of other languages.
Character: I think the public option and the competition it would foster would really — socialist, socialist.
Moderator: Good, very good. Lesson two: If you’re having trouble understanding the words of others or being understood yourself, use teabag’s stronger, more descriptive words.

Character: “Nazi, Nazi, Nazi.”

It’s actually not that funny — especially to those on the right, including members of the Tea Party movement, which is populated by passionate Americans who don’t like the direction President Obama is taking the country.

“The cartoon is a perfect caricature of what NPR looks like to conservatives: liberals snidely imagining conservatives to be monosyllabic clods who can’t make an argument beyond name-calling,” said Tim Graham, director of media analysis for the conservative Media Research Center. “Conservatism is ‘satirized’ into a form of political retardation.””

“That said, there are problems with the Tea Bag animation. Chief among them is it doesn’t fit with NPR values, one of which is a belief in civility and civil discourse.

Fiore is talented, but this cartoon is just a mean-spirited attack on people who think differently than he does and doesn’t broaden the debate. It engages in the same kind of name-calling the cartoon supposedly mocks.”

“There will be no apology and Fiore’s cartoon is staying up, said Ellen Weiss, senior vice president for news. “Opinion and satire are going to sting some members of the audience and soothe others,” she said, noting NPR has received some positive feedback. “This one satire is not the only coverage on the topic and while it offends some members of the audience, I see no reason to remove it.””

This goes way beyond opinion and satire. As Alicia C. Shepard stated,

Ellen Weiss, senior vice president of NPR stated “There will be no apology and Fiore’s cartoon is staying up.”

Cass Sunstein, Obama Czar, Information and Regulatory Affairs, White House office, Sunstein quotes, US Constitution, Sunstein radical ideas

Speaking about the US Constitution:

“it is an imperfect document.”   Barack Obama

“Why should we be governed by people long dead? … In any case, the group that ratified the Constitution included just a small subset of the society; it excluded all women, the vast majority of African Americans, many of those without property, and numerous others who were not permitted to vote.”  Cass Sunstein

“we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.”          Signers of  The Declaration of Independence

I am not aware of Barack Obama or Cass Sunstein pledging their lives, their fortunes or their sacred honor to preserve the US.

I received the following article in an email today:

“In the world of Obama there cannot be any dissent or criticism of the master designer (no, not God – President Barack Obama) and any attempts to impugn the Obama plans for “change” must be demolished. So if negativity comes from the internet , then of course the blogosphere must be added to litany of government control and censorship.

The recent Obama intended appointment of Cass Sunstein, a Harvard Law professor, to the position of head of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs is the next nail in the coffin of the First Amendment. In this position Sunstein will have powers that are unprecedented and very far reaching; not merely mind-boggling but with explicit ability to use the courts to stifle free speech if it opposes Obama policies. In particular, Sunstein thinks that the bloggers have been “rampaging out of control” and that “new laws need to be written” to contain them. Advance copies of Sunstein’s new book, “On Rumors: How Falsehoods Spread, Why We Believe Them, What Can Be Done,” have gone out to reviewers ahead of its September publication date, but considering the new position to which Sunstein is about to be appointed, the powers with which Sunstein will be endowed are very, very, troubling.

The Wall Street Journal reported that “the post wields outsize power. It oversees regulations throughout the government, from the Environmental Protection Agency to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Obama aides have said the job will be crucial as the new administration overhauls financial-services regulations, attempts to pass universal health care and tries to forge a new approach to controlling emissions of greenhouse gases.””

“Sunstein will be another Obama “Czar” but will really be the chief regulator of what can or cannot appear on the internet. It is very scary that the person who will be in charge of public cyberspace believes that – “Whether you’re a blogger or the York Times or a Web hosting service – you should be held responsible even for what your comments say.” Currently you’re immune under section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. “Reasonable people,” he says, “might object that this is not the right rule,” though he admits that imposing liability for comments on service providers would be “a considerable burden.””

I decided to find out more about this radical law professor with a long time association with Obama. Below are a collection of quotes attributed to Cass Sunstein. It is beleived that these quotes are accurate.

Second Amendment
“Consider the view that the Second Amendment confers an individual right to own guns. The view is respectable, but it may be wrong, and prominent specialists reject it on various grounds.”

“The National Association of Broadcasters and others with similar economic interests
typically use the First Amendment in precisely the same way the National Rifle
Association uses the Second Amendment. We should think of the two camps as
jurisprudential twins.”

Hunting & Animal Rights
“We ought to ban hunting”

“[Humans’] willingness to subject animals to unjustified suffering will be seen … as a form of unconscionable barbarity… morally akin to slavery and the mass extermination of human beings.”

Free Speech

“A legislative effort to regulate broadcasting in the interest of democratic principles should not be seen as an abridgment of the free speech guarantee.”

“I have argued in favor of a reformulation of First Amendment law. The overriding goal of the reformulation is to reinvigorate processes of democratic deliberation, by ensuring greater attention to public issues and greater diversity of views.”

“Consider the “fairness doctrine,” now largely abandoned but once requiring radio and television broadcasters:
…[I]n light of astonishing economic and technological changes, we must doubt whether, as interpreted, the constitutional guarantee of free speech is adequately serving democratic goals. It is past time for a large-scale reassessment of the appropriate role of the First Amendment in the democratic process.”

Taxes
“In what sense in the money in our pockets and bank accounts fully ‘ours’? Did we earn it by our own autonomous efforts? Could we have inherited it without the assistance of probate courts? Do we save it without the support of bank regulators? Could we spend it if there were no public officials to coordinate the efforts and pool the resources of the community in which we live?… Without taxes there would be no liberty. Without taxes there would be no property. Without taxes, few of us would have any assets worth defending. [It is] a dim fiction that some people enjoy and exercise their rights without placing any burden whatsoever on the public fisc. … There is no liberty without dependency. That is why we should celebrate tax day …”

Second Bill of Rights
“My major aim in this book is to uncover an important but neglected part of America’s heritage: the idea of a second bill of rights. In brief, the second bill attempts to protect both opportunity and security, by creating rights to employment, adequate food and clothing, decent shelter, education, recreation, and medical care.”

“Much of the time, the United States seems to have embraced a confused and pernicious form of individualism. This approach endorses rights of private property and freedom of contract, and respects political liberty, but claims to distrust “government intervention” and insists that people must fend for themselves. This form of so-called individualism is incoherent, a tangle of confusions.”

“For better or worse, the Constitution’s framers gave no thought to including social and economic guarantees in the bill of rights.”

Jeff Katz, WBT radio, Charlotte NC, Katz fired December 1, 2008, Fairness Doctrine, Rush Limbaugh, Conservative host, Katz told truth, Truth about Obama, Katz websites, Silent majority

“Journalism died in 2008.” — Sean Hannity

Jeff Katz, the conservative talk show host on WBT radio in Charlotte NC, was fired on Monday, December 1,
2008. Katz hosted a show that ran just after the Rush Limbaugh show. Jeff Katz, who appeared to some
as too abrupt and controversial, did his damn job and spoke the truth. Now some are shooting the messenger.
Too negative? About Charlotte? Oh come on. Let me tell you, when I first began being in Charlotte, I could
not believe how bad some things were. Schools, crime, roads and city government for example. Negative?
Oh my goodness, why would anyone be negative.

You morons!! He has been telling the truth!

And oh my God! Question Obama and be negative?

That is a serious crime!
What bothers me about the Jeff Katz dismissal is that it falls under a broad category of preventing the
American people from hearing the truth. I have watched the election play out this year in amazement
as a “1984” like world has controlled the information presented or withheld about Barack Obama. The MSM
was totally in the tank for Obama. The Obama camp, using paid operatives and Obama fanatics has engaged in Nazi Brownshirt like tactics of scrubbing the internet, revisionist history altering of data, personal attacks
and shutting down websites of those questioning Obama.

The “Fairness Doctrine”, which is anything but fair, is raising it’s ugly head. This has been an ongoing
effort by the far left to silence their critics. Whether one agrees with people like Rush Limbaugh or
Jeff Katz, they serve an important function. Both Rush and Katz tell the truth and tell the American People
what they need to hear. People like Rush and Katz are hardly sufficient to counterbalance all of the
left wing propaganda we are bombarded with, but God help us if we lose them. In fact, many of the people
that have commented on Jeff Katz, indicated they were not Republicans or that they might have been
somewhat liberal, but liked listening to Katz to give them more balanced news.

So, what will come of this?

Rush Limbaugh fulfilled a need when he came along around 20 years ago. There had been a trend toward biased news for years. WBT has made what they refer to as a business decision. I believe they are making a huge mistake. Obama won Mecklenberg County and NC. However, if one examines the area he won, this is an island surrounded by more conservative, McCain voters. As I stated when I called WBT radio on Tuesday, there are squeaky wheels that voice their opinion often. However, there is a silent majority out there that is
fed up with biased reporting. That silent majority will respond with a backlash. Jeff Katz leaving
WBT will create a big vacuum (no offense to Tara Servatius who does a good job). This is a turning point
in information presentation. The Charlotte Observer, an extremely biased, left wing rag, is losing readership
and that is likely to escalate. WBT will lose listeners. The internet will increasingly take on a larger
role. Blog talk radio will increase in popularity. Citizen Wells has filled in for a host and has been urged
to host a show. Don’t be surprised if it happens.

I have contacted Jeff Katz and am waiting on a response.

The following sites are believed to be run by Jeff Katz. I will confirm this.

http://twitter.com/jeffkatzshow

http://thejeffkatzshow.blogspot.com/

Here are some comments from this blog about the Jeff Katz dismissal:

“I think Jeff Katz is the best thing to ever happen to talk radio in the Southeast…

He tells you what the leftist mainstream media will not…”

“People have the right to know about the truth. It is unfortunate most Americans are too dumb to think for themselves and hear the truth. Too bad Katz had to be fired. We just live in a society that is too politically correct. I’m going to talk about Obama and I always seek the facts before I judge. Too bad the idiots of America don’t see it that way.”

“I totally agree with you Citizen Wells…..Jeff Katz was the ONLY news person in the Charlotte area brave enough to tell the truth or even look for the truth concerning Obama. I listened to Jeff every day…loved his show…someone should have some explaining to do about this.

When the newspapers or talk radio can no longer seek the truth in our country, then for all practical purposes, objective reporting is DOA (dead on arrival) and everyone(including the owners of the radio stations and newspapers) are in deep doo-do! Ask Hier Hitler what he did!

This is outrageous. Citizen you are also correct about the Charlotte Observer. What a rag sheet and they have no compitition, but they are loosing their subscribers! I wonder why?

I hope they loose all their readers. I’m sure when the smoke clears they will have had a lot to do with the firing of Jeff .

Jeff certainly did his part in exposing this Obama charade, now it’s our turn to make our voices heard. Please every one in the Charlotte area do this:

1. CALL WBT AND TELL THEM; BRING BACK JEFF KATZ OR LOSE YOUR AUDIENCE!

2. EVERYONE IN THE CHARLOTTE AREA STOP LISTENING TO WBT!!!! IF KATZ’S LOYAL LISTENER’S STOP TURNING THEIR RADIOS TO WBT, THEY WILL GET THE MESSAGE!

BOYCOTT,BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT,BOYCOTT!

3. LOCAL BUSINESSES STOP ADVERTISING ON WBT UNTIL KATZ RETURNS!

IT WORKS FOR JESSIE JACKSON AND WILL WORK FOR US ALSO. MAKE YOUR SILENT VOICES HEARD!”

“The politically correct weenies at WBT have groveled to the radical liberal left. Rush Limbaugh and Jeff Katz were the only hosts who tell it like it is without all the p/c crap. I will still listen to Rush, but not on WBT and to Katz as soon as his new show begins. And, it will begin.”

“Jeff Katz, like Jason Lewis before him, ask questions and addressed issues that I found not only interesting but necessary. The mainstream media, whom I trusted for more years than I care to mention, no longer brings the news, they make the news. Jeff had a curiosity about Obama that I, and many others, have. Who is he really? Why is his birth certificate sealed? Why is his college admission papers sealed? What is there to hide? When it comes to other subjects, like illegal immigration he simply refused to call it “undocumented immigrants”. The operative word is, and always will be, ILLEGAL. What is wrong in asking the hard questions?”

“Jeff Katz was the best thing on WBT. I ‘m so very upset over this. WBT shame on you, you have made a hugh mistake. I will boycott WBT, Charlotte Observer way too liberal for me, they never report the truth. God bless you Jeff and your family, you are truly gifted and deserve your own radio show like Glen, Rush, and Shawn.”

“Jeff Katz was the reason I began listening to WBT in the first place. I am so tired of being forced to swallow the biased liberal crap the mainstream media feeds us! Jeff gave a voice to discouraged conservatives. I”ve listened to Tara before and respect her abilities but can’t stomach this change. You’ve lost me WBT!”

“Like Mac, I started listening to WBT because of Jeff Katz. When I heard the reasoning for his release, I changed my radio preset. It seemed like the GM and PM were reciting an overly rehearsed line during their show. Tara is alright, but she gets repetitive and doesn’t keep my attention.”

“I will miss Jeff Katz, I wish him and his family a Merry Christmas and hope he finds a station that will appreciate him . Thank you for your work, Citizen. Please keep all of us informed as to what is happening.”

“WBT made a HUGE mistake by dumping Jeff Katz. Do they really think Tara can fill his shoes? Well, she can’t.

I’ve listened to Tara. She’s okay but frankly, not very articulate. Doesn’t hold a candle to Jeff.

To make a move a stupid as this I have to wonder if Rick Jackson & Bill White are on drugs. No, you say? Then they should be!

WBT just lost this listener. I simply won’t be back and am glad my satelite radio is already in place.”

Jeff Katz, Charlotte NC, WBT radio, Conservative talk radio host fired, general manager Rick Jackson, Bill White, program director, On air questions, CharlotteObserver.com article, December 3, 2008

Mark Washburn of CharlotteObserver.com has an article on the WBT radio on air question and answer segment from Tuesday, December 2, 2008.  General manager Rick Jackson and program director Bill White answered questions from callers regarding the dismissal of talk show host Jeff Katz. Citizen Wells was quoted stating “Jeff Katz was the one beacon telling the truth,” .

“WBT’s management team took over Jeff Katz’s time slot Tuesday to explain to listeners why he wouldn’t be on the air in Charlotte any more – ratings and research.”

““We made these decisions based on business,” Jackson said. “We do know collectively over time through research and ratings how people here perform.”

Station studies showed Katz had problems with the listeners, Jackson said. “We could see the fit wasn’t right here.””

“Callers offered varied opinions about Katz.

“I’m glad he’s gone,” said the first caller, Jim from Charlotte. “This guy, all he would do is the negative.”

Another complained that he disagreed with Katz and was cut off the air.

Others praised Katz for his dogged conservatism and community work. “Jeff Katz was the one beacon telling the truth,” said one listener who called himself “Citizen Wells.””

Read more here:

http://www.charlotteobserver.com/597/story/389812.html

Here is the Citizen Wells response to this article:

“I was born in the middle of the state, lived most of my life in the northern part of the state and have spent more time in Charlotte the past several years. Jeff Katz was the only media person in the Charlotte area presenting the truth about Obama. In response to his being negative, don’t shoot the messenger. When I began being in Charlotte several years ago, I was appalled by the problems here. School issues dominated the news but high crime is always lurking as a major issue. Throw in lousy roads and government. You really think Katz is negative? Once again, he was the messenger.
The Charlotte area owes Jeff Katz a debt of gratitude for revealing the truth, especially about Barack Obama.
God bless Jeff Katz.”

Jeff Katz fired, WBT talk radio fires Katz, Tara Servatius replaces, December 1, 2008, Citizen Wells seeks truth about dismissal

Jeff Katz, who had a talk radio show in the afternoon after Rush Limbaugh on WBT radio in Charlotte NC, was fired on Monday, December 1, 2008. Jeff Katz was considered controversial by some, but he was one of the few locally telling the truth about Barack Obama, and trying to inform the citizens of the Charlotte area. I listened to Jeff Katz when I was able. He was a beacon of truth in a morass of lies and bias such as that emanating from the extremely biased Charlotte Observer. Many of the callers to Jeff’s show would be obnoxious or blind followers of Obama. Katz handled them as best as could be reasonably expected. Of course no one in this day and age wants the truth and no one should question the “messiah”, Obama.

Citizen Wells intends to get to the bottom of this and find out the truth about the Jeff Katz dismissal.

Stay tuned.

Jeff Katz, God bless you for the job you did. The listeners of WBT talk radio owe you a debt of gratitude.

The View, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Larry Sinclair, John McCain, Cindy McCain, The view attacks McCains, DEAR WHOOPI

John and Cindy McCain were recently on “The View” and treated poorly. Most of those on “The View” are obviously in bed with Obama. Joy Behar spoke of lies coming from the McCain campaign. That is in line with the standard Obama camp approach of personal attacks on anyone asking questions of their messiah Obama. Larry Sinclair has put up a post in the form of a letter asking Whoopi Goldberg, “what happened to the independent, fair minded, and no BS woman I got to know and admire?” Here is the post from Larry Sinclair:

“Saturday, September 13, 2008

DEAR WHOOPI

UPDATED 9-13-08 @ 4:42 PM CDT
In response to a comment submitted to this article I wanted to make something clear. This letter is not in any way attacking or degrading Whoopi (whom I personally owe a debt of gratitude), but is asking the simple question, “What happened to the Whoopi I knew and loved?”

Dear Whoopi,

I am writing you this open letter to ask, what happened to the independent, fair minded, and no BS woman I got to know and admire?

After watching portions of the “VIEW” with John and Cindy McCain, I noticed the woman who I had gotten to know has changed into yet another “mouth piece” for the Obama media circus.

What happened to the Whoopi who used to be scared of nothing and who kissed no ones ass? We got to know each other well over the ten (10) years you helped pay my school tuition, you sent all the post cards and letters from all the film festivals, the monthly packages of the Hollywood Reporter and Variety, all the Reebok shoes when you were there spokeswoman. What happen to the lady who didn’t give a shit when people trashed you for always having white men instead of a black boyfriend? What happened to the woman that used to say the truth mattered more than the hype?

What happened to Whoopi? Where was Whoopi when Michelle Obama appeared on the VIEW? Why didn’t you ask Michelle about Barack being on the dow low? Why didn’t you ask what Michelle thought of Barack’s lover Donald Young (whom Michelle knew) being murdered in cold blood? Why didn’t you ask Michelle or Barack about Barack Smoking crack Cocaine in 1999?

Whoopi, I know you knew about all of this because I emailed it to you, and even faxed it to your Whoop, Inc/One Ho Productions offices.

What happened to the Whoopi I knew and admired and shared so much with? I guess Ron Holder would ask the same question, Where is the Whoopi I knew and loved?”

Obama camp ridicules McCain’s war injuries, Raila Odinga, ODM strategy, Mock older people, McCain emails, McCain tortured, Injuries, Obama camp mocks war hero, * Update *

**************  See Update Below  ****************

Noquarter USA has posted another great article. This article is about the Obama camp producing a video mocking John McCain for his inability to write emails. John McCain has trouble typing emails due to being tortured as a prisoner of war. Character is always revealed. Here are exerpts from the article:

“The Obama Campaign May Have Finished Itself Off Permanently — Through Utter Cruelty [Update]
By SusanUnPCclose”

“Today, the Obama campaign launched a smart-alecky ad mocking John McCain’s age and inability to keep up with modern devices, such as using a computer. Why, John McCain doesn’t even know how to send an e-mail. Writes Mark Halperin for Time’s blog The Page, “In one of his two latest TV spots, the Land of Lincolner gets personal, saying McCain has admitted he doesn’t know how to use a computer or send an e-mail, doesn’t understand the economy.”

“Here’s the problem: John McCain cannot send an e-mail, not because he hasn’t bothered to learn, but because he is physically unable to do so.

John McCain, because of the torture he endured as a prisoner of war, cannot use a computer keyboard. John McCain can’t even comb his own hair.”

Thanks to Ed Morrissey, we have the full back-story on this:

Earlier today, Barack Obama’s campaign released an ad attacking John McCain for not knowing how to send an e-mail. Their crack research team apparently never heard of Google or Lexis-Nexis, but Jonah Goldberg does. He discovers why McCain doesn’t use a keyboard — his torturers made sure he couldn’t. The Boston Globe reported it eight years ago:

McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain’s severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. Friends marvel at McCain’s encyclopedic knowledge of sports. He’s an avid fan – Ted Williams is his hero – but he can’t raise his arm above his shoulder to throw a baseball.

After Vietnam, McCain had Ann Lawrence, a physical therapist, help him regain flexibility in his leg, which had been frozen in an extended position by a shattered knee. It was the only way he could hope to resume his career as a Navy flier, but Lawrence said the treatment, taken twice a week for six months, was excruciatingly painful.

”He endured it, he wouldn’t settle for less,” said Lawrence, who rejoiced with McCain when he passed the Navy physical. ”I have never seen such toughness and resolve.””

Once again, Noquarter USA, has come through with a great article to expose the truth about Obama. Read more here:

I would like to add some insight into this behaviour by the Obama camp. As many of you are aware, Obama visited Kenya in 2006 and helped his cousin Raila Odinga campaign. Odinga campaigned as a member of the ODM party. One of the strategies of the ODM party, taken directly from one of their leaked documents, is this:

The age issue

Our core supporters are essentially young people who are angry about the domination of Kibaki politics by frail septuagenarians.

Billboards and leaflets ridiculing the old people in the Kibaki team; contrast this with billboards of Hon Raila with young people- the promise of a buoyant future.”

Sound familiar?

****  UPDATE  ****

To Obama Camp: Evil and stupid is no way to approach life.

Many of the commenters on this blog are intelligent and well informed. We just received some information from a commenter that sheds new light on the mockery of McCain by the Obama camp:

“Forbes ran a very good article back in 2000, crediting McCain’s campaign with their revolutionary use of the internet that year. Along with that article was this paragraph:

““In certain ways, McCain was a natural Web candidate. Chairman of the Senate Telecommunications Subcommittee and regarded as the U.S. Senate’s savviest technologist, McCain is an inveterate devotee of email. His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy. The injuries he incurred as a Vietnam POW make it painful for McCain to type. Instead, he dictates responses that his wife types on a laptop. “She’s a whiz on the keyboard, and I’m so laborious,” McCain admits.”

http://www.forbes.com/asap/2000/0529/053_print.html

Obama should apologize to McCain for degrading him about a disability acquired during torture while fighting for his country.”

Thanks to commenter Sami from Citizen Wells and the American public.

Obama, King of lies, diversions and deception, The View, Joy Behar, Politico blog, Politico reports lies, Personal attacks Hallmark of Obama camp

How does one talk about Obama without being negative?

Should we make ties to crime, corruption, anti Americanism,
anti semitism, terrorists, and constant lies positives?

Politico.com, the same blog that reported lies about Larry Sinclair
before, during and after his arrest at the National Press Club,
has the audacity to post an article questioning John McCain’s
honesty and uses “The View” as a source for the argument. Joy Behar
is quoted as saying “They’re lies,” in reference to comments made by the McCain campaign. This comes from a group of people that would
not know the truth if it bit them on the ass.

Most of the women on “The View” clearly have a left wing agenda
and if Politico is not being paid by the Obama camp, you wouldn’t
know it. Think about it, Obama, the most documented liar that
has ever run for office (this includes court testimony) is given a
free ride and John McCain, who is known for his integrity and sense
of fairness, is being attacked. No surprise. That is the hallmark
of the Obama campaign and Politico and “The View” are an integral
part of the Obama Campaign. Here are some exerpts from the Politico
article:

“Why McCain is going so negative, so often
By JONATHAN MARTIN | 9/13/08 7:10 AM EST”

“John McCain has essentially claimed he’s savaged Obama because the Illinois senator wouldn’t agree to the series of town hall meetings McCain proposed.”

“It’s hard to imagine a more unlikely perch for John McCain to be shamed for his increasingly hard-edged and truth-stretching campaign than the middle seat on “The View.”

Yet on Friday morning, there sat the Republican nominee – a politician who has built an all but saintly reputation for “straight talk” over the years – caught in a vise between Joy Behar and Barbara Walters and getting a lecture from each on honesty.

“They’re lies,” Behar said of two recent lines of attack from the McCain campaign”

“McCain’s tactics are drawing the scorn of many in the media and organizations tasked with fact-checking the truthfulness of campaigns. In recent weeks, Team McCain has been described as dishonorable, disingenuous and downright cynical.”

“The negative and often exaggerated or misleading claims being made about Obama and Delaware Sen. Joe Biden, especially those playing on Palin’s gender, are just too irresistible for the process-consumed online and cable news media that now drives the campaign conversation, Weaver said.”

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0908/13412.html

So, to sum this up, Obama lies, attacks, has more baggage that a 747 and if anyone questions that, they are attacking or telling lies?

Does that make sense to you?

Boycott the sponsors of “The View”. Send a message you do not approve of their tactics.

Obama Camp stops free speech, Democrat party, left wing brown shirts, Nazi germany revisited, barackobama.com, Fairness Doctrine, Nancy Pelosi

The Democrat party is being run by a bunch of modern day Nazi Germany BrownShirts. The Obama Camp is an integral part of orchestrated efforts to control the flow of information available to the American Public. Bloggernews.net is reporting that they have evidence that attempts to shutdown anti Obama sites are coming from the official Obama website, barackobama.com, and the Obama Campaign. Here are some exerpts from that story:

“At least one of the attacks in the latest wave of blog shutdowns this past week came from IPs assigned to barackobama.com.

We have reported twice in the last two weeks about the attacks on anti-Obama websites. [“Google, Blogger, Obama: Obamanation Shut Down My Blog!”]] & [BabbaZee’s “Anti-Obama Blogs Shut Down by Google, Obamabots“]”

“We came across this post by MacRanger at MacsMind [Macsmind Hacking UPDATE] yesterday, where Mac presents “one fact that can’t be explained away”.

On July 22-25 Macsmind was DOS’d (Denial of Service) that originated from three IP addresses that are assigned to Barack Obama’s website. This isn’t a theory but was confirmed via law enforcement through an inspection of the site logs from those dates. The IP address in question; 66.39.4.254 66.39.143.229 216.146.206.181, are all registered via “Go Daddy” under the name barackobama.com.

On those dates, beginning at At 5:48PM Central on the 22nd, the hosted server that contained our site was hit by a 1.6 gigabyte flood of illegitimate traffic. The attacks never abated and only stopped when our host provider took us off line.

Spam traffic originating from three IPs assigned to the barackobama.com would seem to be compelling evidence to the disinterested reader. We haven’t been able to reach MacRanger yet, but the real question isn’t “Is the Obama camp involved in this?””

So, does anyone out there believe we are not living “1984” or Nazi Germany? Consider the following:

The MSM is mostly controlled by the Democrat Party and is not covering the real Obama.

The Obama Campaign set in motion mechanisms, well over a year ago to control the information on the internet. The Obama Camp has such advisors as Lawrence Lessig, who has strong links to Google.

The Obama Camp has a legion of paid hackers who work at stopping or discrediting anyone questioning Obama.

Larry Sinclair has endured personal attacks, death threats, arrest, treatment like a political prisoner, multiple website shutdowns and a consistent effort to discredit him. He also is not getting the protection under the law he is entitled to.

Followers and reporters of the Larry Sinclair story have received personal attacks, attempts at website shutdowns and continual attempts at discreditng.

Nancy Pelosi and her Brownshirt gang are trying to revive the “Fairness Doctrine”, which is nothing more than attempts to shut down talk radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh.

And don’t forget, the Democrat Party has disenfranchised many Democrat voters.

Wake up America!

We are not that far from reliving Nazi Germany.
