“His earlier thought returned to him: probably she was not actually a member of the Thought Police, but then it was precisely the amateur spy who was the greatest danger of all. He did not know how long she had been looking at him, but perhaps for as much as five minutes, and it was possible that his features had not been perfectly under control. It was terribly dangerous to let your thoughts wander when you were in any public place or within range of a telescreen. The smallest thing could give you away. A nervous tic, an unconscious look of anxiety, a habit of muttering to yourself — anything that carried with it the suggestion of abnormality, of having something to hide. In any case, to wear an improper expression on your face (to look incredulous when a victory was announced, for example) was itself a punishable offence. There was even a word for it in Newspeak: facecrime, it was called.”…George Orwell “1984″

“A Party member lives from birth to death under the eye of the Thought Police. Even when he is alone he can never be sure that he is alone. Wherever he may be, asleep or awake, working or resting, in his bath or in bed, he can be inspected without warning and without knowing that he is being inspected. Nothing that he does is indifferent.”…George Orwell, “1984″

“The US government is not going to be able to cover this up by jailing or murdering me,”…Edward Snowden

From the Guardian July 17, 2014.

“Edward Snowden urges professionals to encrypt client communications
Exclusive: Whistleblower says NSA revelations mean those with duty to protect confidentiality must urgently upgrade security”

“The NSA whistleblower, Edward Snowden, has urged lawyers, journalists, doctors, accountants, priests and others with a duty to protect confidentiality to upgrade security in the wake of the spy surveillance revelations.

Snowden said professionals were failing in their obligations to their clients, sources, patients and parishioners in what he described as a new and challenging world.

“What last year’s revelations showed us was irrefutable evidence that unencrypted communications on the internet are no longer safe. Any communications should be encrypted by default,” he said.”

“During the seven hours of interview, Snowden:

• Said if he ended up in US detention in Guantánamo Bay he could live with it.

• Offered rare glimpses into his daily life in Russia, insisting that, contrary to reports that he is depressed, he is not sad and does not have any regrets. He rejected various conspiracy theories surrounding him, describing as “bullshit” suggestions he is a Russian spy.

• Said that, contrary to a claim he works for a Russian organisation, he was independently secure, living on savings, and money from awards and speeches he has delivered online round the world.

• Made a startling claim that a culture exists within the NSA in which, during surveillance, nude photographs picked up of people in “sexually compromising” situations are routinely passed around.

• Spoke at length about his future, which seems destined to be spent in Russia for the foreseeable future after expressing disappointment over the failure of western European governments to offer him a home.

• Said he was holding out for a jury trial in the US rather a judge-only one, hopeful that it would be hard to find 12 jurors who would convict him if he was charged with an offence to which there was a public interest defence. Negotiations with the US government on a return to his country appear to be stalled.

Snowden, who recognises he is almost certainly kept under surveillance by the Russians and the US, met the Guardian at a hotel within walking distance of Red Square.”

“”An unfortunate side effect of the development of all these new surveillance technologies is that the work of journalism has become immeasurably harder than it ever has been in the past,” Snowden said.

“Journalists have to be particularly conscious about any sort of network signalling, any sort of connection, any sort of licence-plate reading device that they pass on their way to a meeting point, any place they use their credit card, any place they take their phone, any email contact they have with the source because that very first contact, before encrypted communications are established, is enough to give it all away.””

John (unfit for command) (talked privately with leading Communist representative in Paris) Kerry calls Snowden coward and traitor, Snowden should man up and come back to the United States

“I do not believe John Kerry is fit to be commander in chief of the armed forces of the United States. This is not a political issue. It is a matter of his judgement, truthfulness, reliability, loyalty, and trust–all absolute tenets of command.”…REAR ADMIRAL ROY F. HOFFMAN, USN (RETIRED)

“In his 2004 DNC speech Obama stated John Kerry will be sworn in as president, and John Edwards will be sworn in as vice president. Thank God that did not happen. We must not let John Kerry be confirmed as Secretary of State.”…Citizen Wells

“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.”…Abraham Lincoln

Barack Obama picked the right secretary of state to complement his style of government.

Blame others for acts less repulsive than yours.

John Kerry was the perfect pay to play Obama kind of guy.

Cavort with communists and when you are caught, punish the whistleblowers.

From Zero Hedge May 28, 2014.

“This evening’s interview between Edward Snowden and NBC’s Brian Williams is already stirring up controversy. In one excerpt, Snowden blames the State Department for “stranding him” in Russia, saying he “never intended” to wind up there. John Kerry has been quick to react to this “For a supposedly smart guy, that’s a pretty dumb answer, frankly,” Kerry said. “If Mr. Snowden wants to come back to the United States today, we’ll have him on a flight today.” In an interview with Chuck Todd on MSNBC, Kerry called Snowden a “coward” and a “traitor,”adding that “he should man up and come back to the United States,” the secretary of state said. ”

“As NBC reports,Snowden was “stranded” in Russia by the State Department…

“I personally am surprised that I ended up here,” Snowden said in the interview, an excerpt of which aired on TODAY on Wednesday morning.

Snowden’s comments about his new home came in an extended, wide-ranging interview with Williams, his first with a U.S. television network, airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.

“The reality is I never intended to end up in Russia,” he said. “I had a flight booked to Cuba onwards to Latin America and I was stopped because the United States government decided to revoke my passport and trap me in Moscow Airport.

“So when people ask why are you in Russia, I say, ‘Please ask the State Department.”

To which John Kerry responded…”
“”For a supposedly smart guy, that’s a pretty dumb answer, frankly,” Kerry said. “If Mr. Snowden wants to come back to the United States today, we’ll have him on a flight today.

“We’d be delighted for him to come back. He should come back. That’s what a patriot would do. A patriot would not run away and look for refuge in Russia or Cuba or some other country. A patriot would stand up in the United States and make his case to the American people,” Kerry added.

“He can come home but he’s a fugitive from justice which is why he is not being permitted to fly around the world,” he said.”

From Citizen Wells December 29, 2012.

John Kerry meddling in foreign affairs (from “Unfit for Command):
“About one year earlier, two young Americans had also come to
Paris, presumably for their honeymoon: John Kerry, a young, clean
shaven Navy war veteran, accompanied by his new wife, the former
Julia Thorne, who could trace her lineage back to George Washington.
But honeymooning was not John Kerry’s only reason for traveling to
Paris. Kerry’s presidential campaign has now acknowledged that he
“talked privately with a leading Communist representative” there.

For decades, this meeting had been only a rumor. The rumor
stemmed from a comment Kerry made in the less publicized question
and answer segment of his April 22, 1971, testimony before the
Fulbright Committee: “I have been to Paris. I have talked with both
delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic
of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government.””

“According to researchers, Obama’s line records were discovered in Series RG36, reference books.  Not surprisingly, when researchers specifically requested access to the relevant microfilm for the Obama birth registrations, they were told that the records were currently held under an outdated “privileged access” status, meaning researchers were denied access under Chapter 52, Sections 3 and 5 of the British Public Records Act of 1958. However, evidence shows these records were available for public access before August of 2009, the approximate date of arrival of Hillary Clinton in Great Britain during her trip to Africa that year.  “…The Daily Pen July 18, 2012

From the UK Guardian March 27, 2014.

“‘Guardian’ reporting of Snowden leaks threatened with closure, conference told

Deputy editor details extent to which intelligence agencies tried to stop newspaper’s disclosures”

“The Guardian deputy editor Paul Johnson has clarified his statement at a radio conference in Dublin that the British Government would close down the newspaper over the Edward Snowden spying affair.

Mr Johnson was asked on Tuesday at the Radiodays conference what specific threats were made by the British Government if they were to publish Mr Snowden’s revelations of mass surveillance by US and UK security agencies.

Mr Johnson responded: “Yes, we were being threatened with being closed down.”

When pressed as to if that meant the closure of the newspaper, he added: “Well there are specific threats made and there have been specific threats made legally. We didn’t know if they were under the terror laws or the more ordinary laws about the seizure of journalistic material.”

He then played a video to show how the newspaper dealt with the threat.

He has since contacted The Irish Times to state that he meant to convey that the British Government would close down its coverage of the Snowden leaks, rather than the newspaper itself.”

“Mr Johnson revealed that a senior civil servant had told the paper’s editor, Alan Rusbridger, that the “prime minister, the deputy prime minister, the foreign secretary, the home secretary and the attorney general have got a problem with you”.”

NSA spies on Merkel, US Treasury criticizes German economy, Germany may grant asylum to Edward Snowden and seek testimony, Obama et al ruin US economy and continue to blame others

NSA spies on Merkel, US Treasury criticizes German economy, Germany may grant asylum to Edward Snowden and seek testimony, Obama et al ruin US economy and continue to blame others

“Over the last six months, of the net job creation, 97 percent of that is part-time work,”…Keith Hall, former BLS chief

“Between 2009 and 2012, the federal government recorded the largest budget deficits relative to the size of the economy since 1946, causing federal debt to soar. Federal debt held by the public is now about 73 percent of the economy’s annual output, or gross domestic product (GDP). That percentage is higher than at any point in U.S. history except a brief period around World War II, and it is twice the percentage at the end of 2007. “…CBO September 17, 2013

“So if Obama was hoping that all the late summer scandals that have taken his reputation to an all time low would at least push the NSA spying scandal away from the front page, he may need some additional fabricated and YouTube-validated false flag wars very soon.”…Zero Hedge October 31, 2013

Obama et al have ruined the US economy, are in the process of ruining our health care system with Obamacare and they continue to blame everyone else.

From Zero Hedge October 31, 2013.

“US Blasts Germany’s Economic Model; Germany Blasts Right Back… And May Use Snowden As Leverage”

“The chart below showing the portion of GDP generated through net exports by select group of trade surplus countries is well-known to most. Except, it seems, to the Treasury. Apparently to Jack Lew’s henchmen it comes as a complete shock that
Germany’s exports account for 41.4% of GDP – 50% more than traditionally
evil “mercantilist” China.

It is also a complete shock to the US Treasury that the current layout of the Eurozone – the same Eurozone that the Fed has stepped in on numerous occasions to bailout, common currency and all – was simply to facilitate German exports to fellow European countries.

Which is probably why, after years of saying nothing, in its semi-annual currency report released yesterday and “employing unusually sharp language, the U.S. openly criticized Germany’s economic policies and blamed the euro-zone powerhouse for dragging down its neighbors and the rest of the global economy.”

You see it was all Germany’s fault.”
Why the US would scramble to antagonize a Germany which as recently as a week ago was shocked to find out the NSA was spying on its beloved Angela Merkel is a mystery but apparently now that the fiction that Europe is “fine” and nobody can criticize it has ended and is no longer necessary because Spain is, in its own words, recovering, it is fair game to throw Germany and all other nations that dare to export better and more competitive goods and services than the US. under the bus. Because, you see, unless every “ally” of the US has the same “growth” model of internal consumption funded by titanic amounts of debt, be it household, corporate of sovereign, and is in the same insolvent boat at the end of the day as the US, they deserve to be spat upon.

“”The U.S. government should critically analyze its own economic situation,” said Michael Meister, a senior lawmaker and close ally of Chancellor Angela Merkel, criticizing the high debt level in the U.S., which “doesn’t just unsettle [the U.S.], but has negative effects on the global economy.”

“The German economy is competitive, with record-high employment—so it’s really not understandable why we’re being blamed for this success,” Mr. Meister added.”

Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, Terror Suspect Allowed to Fly, No air marshall, Terrorist connections, Mutallab in database, US database of suspected terrorists, Jasper Schuringa hero, Representative Peter King, Why Was Known Terror Suspect Allowed to Fly?

A known terrorist suspect, Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, with definite al Qaeda links, who was in a US database of suspected terrorists, was not on the no fly list “because it did not involve aviation threats.” That decision was foolish and incompetent enough. Knowing that Abdul Mutallab was connected to al Qaeda and a terrorist threat and not on the no fly list, no US Marshall was assigned to this flight.

This is inexcusable and unacceptable.

From Politics Daily, December 25, 2009.

“Rep. Peter King: Why Was Known Terror Suspect Allowed to Fly?”

“A Christmas Day attempt by a Nigerian man who claimed he was acting on orders from al Qaeda to ignite an incendiary device on Northwest Airlines Flight 253 as it approached Detroit from Amsterdam has caused airport security to be ramped up during peak holiday travel. The Obama White House has called the incident “an attempted act of terrorism.””

“King told Politics Daily the 23-year-old suspect, who he identified as Abdul Mudallad, was not on a terrorist no fly list–but was on the U.S. database of suspected terrorists, King said. Though Mudallad claims to have been acting on direct orders from al Qaeda, ties have not been confirmed and he may have been inspired by, rather than acting in concert with, that particular terror group.”

“King told Politics Daily that Mudallad had “definite terrorist connections” and was part of a “terrorist nexus. ..his terrorist connections did not lend themselves to aviation threats, that’s why he was not on a no-fly list which to me does not really make sense; if you’re a terrorist you’re a terrorist.” And King said he had been told that Mudallad had “definite al Qaeda links.” Mudallad boarded a flight in Lagos, Nigeria and switched planes in Amsterdam to the Detroit bound aircraft.

King said said authorities did have “a file on him. He was in a database, but the decision was made that he did not go on a no fly list because it did not involve aviation threats, aviation issues.”

Because of a “significant terrorist presence” in Nigeria, King said, “maybe he should have been on the terrorist no fly list.””

Pete Hoekstra, Administration is Withholding Information on Fort Hood Attack, Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, CIA, FBI, NSA, Obama said people should not jump to conclusions, Hoekstra ranking member on the House intelligence committee

From CNS News, November 9, 2009.

“Intel Committee Republican Says Administration is Withholding Information on Fort Hood Attack, Demands Preservation of Documents for Possible Congressional Probe”

“Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.), the ranking Republican on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said Monday that the Obama administration has been withholding “critical information” on the Fort Hood murders allegedly committed by Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan.

Hoekstra is demanding that the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Security Agency and the Director of National Intelligence preserve documents relating to the incident for use in possible future congressional investigation.

“President Obama said people should not jump to conclusions about what happened at Fort Hood, but the administration is in possession of critical information related to the attack that they are refusing to release to Congress or the American people,” Hoekstra said in a statement. “I intend to push for intense review of this and other issues related to the performance of the intelligence community and whether or not information necessary for military, state and local officials to provide for the security of the post was provided to them.”

The Michigan lawmaker sent a letter Saturday to the top administration intelligence officials, saying he saw “serious issues” with their performance related to the Fort Hood murders, and indicating that the intelligence community had refused to comply with his request to review certain information related to the case.

As the ranking member on the House intelligence committee, Hoekstra is one of the so-called Gang of Eight–a group of lawmakers that included the leaders of the House and Senate and the leaders of the House and Senate intelligence committees–who are briefed on intelligence activities deemed too sensitive to share with the full intelligence committees.

“Over the past 24 hours, I have been made aware of information from the intelligence community that suggests the possibility that serious issues exist with respect to the performance of U.S. intelligence agencies in connection with what appears to have been a terrorism-related attack on Fort Hood, Texas by Nidal Malik Hasan,” Hoekstra wrote. “I am disappointed that the administration has not been more transparent with the American people.”

Hoekstra’s letter was addressed to Dennis Blair, the director of national intelligence (DNI); CIA Director Robert Mueller; FBI Director Leon Panetta and Lt. Gen. Keith Alexander, the director of the National Security Agency (NSA).

“Given the potential seriousness of these issues, I am troubled that the intelligence community has not been more immediately forthcoming with the congressional oversight committees and has refused to provide specific information I have requested to review in connection with this matter,” said Hoekstra.”

“As a result, Hoekstra requested that the CIA, FBI, NSA and DNI preserve all documents relating to the Fort Hood attack and related matters for potential investigation by Congress.

“I am requesting that you immediately issue a preservation order to all personnel in your agencies with respect to all documents and materials related to the Fort Hood incident and any related investigations or intelligence collection activities, including other potentially related threats,” Hoekstra wrote. “The record must be clear and complete with respect to these matters, which I am beginning to fear will require significant and serious oversight activity by the Committee.””
