Barack Obama was the guest of Tim Russert on Meet the Press, Sunday, May 4, 2008. Did Russert ask Obama tough questions? Did Obama answer tough questions or did he launch into another diversion of a soliloquy?

Did Russert ask Obama about William Ayers?

Did Russert ask Obama about Robert Blackwell?

Did Russert ask Obama about Tony rezko?

Did Russert ask Obama about Larry Sinclair?

Did Russert ask Obama about Donald Young’s murder?

Here are questions Tim Russert asked Obama:

1. Jeremiah Wright.  Russert asked a few tough questions about Wright and the fact that Obama knew about Wright’s hate sermons in 2007.

Obama used the opportunity to distance himself from Wright and used most of the first 20 minutes as a soliloquy to talk about race, etc.

2. Russert asked if Obama thought it was fair to question his judgement.

So far, after about 20 minutes, it has been an opportunity for Obama to present his platform and ignore questions with diversions, and soliloquys.

I will keep you updated.

3. Oooh, here’s a tough question. What do you think about Clinton’s temporary gas tax removal?

Obama agreed it wa pandering. Why didn’t Russert ask Obama if he had done anything meaningful in the senate regarding our energy policy.

4. Oooh, another tough question. What about ethanol a subject important in your state?

5. Iraq and Iran. Would you support limited strikes in Iran?

Obama responded:

Iran is the beneficiary of our being in Iraq. We should have regional discussions and direct talks. When asked about the comments that a quick withdrawal from Iraq would cause genocide, Obama spoke of a phased withdrawal. He mentioned 1 to 2 brigades per month and taking 2 years. (This sounds like the current plan).

6. Should the US protect other nations from Iran.

Obama gave an evasive answer unlike Hillary’s earlier response.

7. Afghanistan. Would you as president, be in favor of a surge?

Obama, yes.

8. If the super delegates get together and pick Clinton, what would you do.

Obama rambled and spoke of supporting the Democratic party against John McCain.

This was one of the worst interviews I have ever witnessed. It came as no surprise. NBC is in bed with their “golden boy”, Obama. I am disappointed in Russert. He is capable of so much more. We get no surprises from the MSM.

I was allerted to this controversy by a fellow blogger from the creeping sharia blog. Many people have been questioning poll results lately with one poll showing a lead for Clinton and another for Obama, with a wide variance. There may be a reason the Zogby poll numbers are skewed. Obama is friends with the Zogby’s. Here are some interesting exerpts from the blog, but I strongly urge you to read the blog and decide for yourself.

“Introducing the Zogby family – James, John, and Joseph.”

“James (Jim) Zogby is founder of the Arab American Institute and also writes for Huffington Post.”

“Before founding the Arab American Institute, Zogby created the Palestine Human Rights Commission as the propaganda arm of the Palestine Liberation Organization, a terrorist group responsible for murdering thousands, including 11 Israeli athletes, at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

The PLO was created in 1964 with the goal of “destroying the Jewish presence in Palestine.”

“Zogby’s Arab American Institute election web page (screen shot included in case it disappears) includes the transcript of a 2007 address to AAI by Barack Obama, who begins by stating:

“Hello, everyone. Let me begin by congratulating your president and my good friend, Jim Zogby, for his work in putting together this conference. It’s an honor to have his support.””

“James Zogby is the brother of John Zogby, President and Chief Executive Officer of Zogby International. Brother Jim is also a senior analyst for the company widely recognized for its Zogby Polls. Did you catch that? The founder of pro-Palestinian organizations is a senior analyst at a leading polling organization in the U.S. Could any of James anti-American, pro-Arab bias be reflected in his poll results?”

“The My DD blog asks: Is there a Zogby-Obama connection?

I wouldn’t be so shocked about the newly released Zogby poll finding Hillary Clinton behind John McCain by 10 points, if James Zogby (brother of Zogby’s CEO John Zogby, and senior analyst of said company) had not become a pro-Obama op-ed columnist for a day in the pro-Obama Huffington Post, and called for Hillary Clinton to drop out of the race.

Do you see a connection here?

Similarly weird is the fact that an AP-Ipsos had been dominating the headlines today with poll with a totally opposite outcome: Hillary up by 9%.

Am I the only one who thinks the timing of this poll is very strange, as if it had come as a damage-control response to the AP poll, carrying the message, “not so fast, Clinton is not the most electable candidate after all!

How ethical is it for a senior analyst in a poll to ask for a race to be over?”

Obama comdemns Wright, insensitivity and outrageousness, Obama outraged and saddened, Jeremiah Wright, black church

Obama, in a speech at the National Press Club in Washington, on Monday, April 28, 2008, distanced himself even more from Jeremiah Wright. Here are some of the remarks made by Obama in reference to Wrights sermons and comments:

“insensitivity and outrageousness”

Obama said he is “outraged” and “saddened” by Wright’s recent comments to the press.

“I have said before and I will repeat again that some of the comments that Reverend Wright has made offend me and I understand why they’ve offended the American people,”

“He does not speak for me. He does not speak for the campaign and so he may make statements in the future that don’t reflect my values or concerns,”

“I think certainly what the last three days indicate is that we’re not coordinating with him.”

Obama has associated with Wright for 20 years. When Don Imus made the “nappy headed hos” comment a year ago, Obama severely chastised Imus, yet Obama knew of Wright’s volatile sermons a least a year ago. Obama criticized Wright earlier this year only when it became politically expedient. Now Obama is in trouble and he finally condemns Wright to attempt to save his campaign.

Obama is revealing his lack of character.

NC primary, Mike Easley, Obama, Governor easley endorses Hillary

Governor Mike Easley has endorsed Hillary Clinton.

I was born and raised in NC and still live in NC.

I have thoroughly researched Barack Obama.

I have never been a Hillary fan but compared to Obama she looks real good.

Obama scares the hell out of me. Obama is the devil I know and the devil I don’t know.

I spoke to people in small towns in the western and eastern part of NC recently. Their biggest concern was Jeremiah Wright and his remark, “God Damn America.” Folks, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

If you are considering voting for Obama, I urge you to do some research. Start with this blog, but also read as much as you can and ask questions. I will be glad to answer your questions.

This election is too important to take lightly. Too important to talk in terms of black, white, Republican or Democrat.

I am asking you as a fellow North Carolinian to make the right choice.

I just found a new website, exposeObama.com. They are accepting donations to places ads exposing the real Obama that the MSM is not covering. The following is from their site:

NC primary, PA primary, Obama, Clinton, Citizen Wells endorsement

NC primary voters, PA primary voters, primary voters in other states. I consider myself more of an independent these days. I will be honest with you, I have never been a Hillary Clinton supporter. However, she looks really good compared to Barack Obama. I have thoroughly researched Obama and what I already know scares the hell out of me. Then there is the devil I do not know.

Rather than try to summarize why I have this stance, read my blog. Do as much research as you can elsewhere, but for the sake of this country, for the sake of our children and our children’s children, do not vote for Obama.

I hereby give my endorsement to Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Nomination.

Pennsylvania primary voters. North Carolina primary voters. If you are considering voting for Obama in PA, NC or any other state, you should watch the YouTube video of John McCain talking about William Ayers and Obama. Obama has had a long term friendship with former undergound bomber Ayers and maintained that friendship with Ayers even after the comments Ayers made after 9/11. AC360 blog, Larry Sinclair, Obama, Anderson Cooper, CNN, Obama conspiracy?

Anderson Cooper 360, AC360, on CNN had an article on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, “In Search of Obama” and a blog for comments. I posted 2 comments which they moderated, accepted and retained. In between my comments, Larry Sinclair posted a short comment that was moderated, accepted and later removed. Here is Larry Sinclair’s comment:

The question is why did CNN and the Anderson Cooper blog staff remove Larry Sinclair’s comment after it was accepted? Other bloggers asking questions about MSM coverage of Obama and the Larry Sinclair allegations now claim that their comments have been removed. Sinclair and others claim that some of their comments were never accepted and that does not necessarily raise a red flag. However, a red flag is raised when a comment is moderated, accepted and then removed.
I am not generally a conspiracy theory person or one to jump to conclusions. However, I and many others have noticed a consistent effort by Obama supporters and the Obama campaign to attack personally and attempt to discredit anyone asking questions about Barack Obama. Many people believe that the main stream media has  given Obama a  free ride much of the time. Some believe that many in the media are afraid to ask serious questions about Obama for fear of being called racist. That is a real concern due to the fact that many Obama supporters and others in this country use the race card as a diversion.
So, CNN, Anderson Cooper, AC360, why did you remove the comment that was moderated and accepted? Are you part of the Obama campaign organized attempt to discredit those that question Obama’s past? Are you afraid of being called racist? Do you have a left wing liberal agenda?
In fairness to CNN, AC360, I must add that they allowed comments that questioned Obama’s past and referred to Larry Sinclair. What is it about the brief comment from Larry Sinclair that caused it to be removed? Some say that the MSM is watching the Sinclair story play out and waiting for the right moment to present it. Some say that Bill O’Reilly has made a reference to the Larry Sinclair allegations and has hinted he can present the story anytime.
For those of you unaware of the Larry Sinclair allegations, Sinclair alleges that he had multiple encounters with Barack Obama from November 3 to November 8, 1999. Sinclair alleges that Obama used drugs and engaged in oral sex with him in a rented limousine in the first encounter.
When I first heard this story I was very skeptical. I then went to the Illinois Senate records and discovered that Obama was absent from the senate on November 4 1999. I then began looking closely at Obama and his lack of records and evasive responses when asked about his records during the time frame when he was in the Illinois senate. When I considered Obama’s evasive attitude about his records and his past associations with racists, hate mongers, criminals and drug users, I began taking Sinclair’s allegations more seriously. I posted questions about Obama on my blog and other blogs. Many of the Obama supporters replied with personal attacks and attempts to discredit me. Some of these attacks were orchestrated, I believe, by the Obama campaign. The more that I visited the Larry Sinclair blog, the more I noticed he was being attacked. I also noticed that Larry was forthcoming about his past and always answered questions. Obama has not been cooperative when asked questions. Sinclair’s credibility has gone up with me and Obama’s credibility has gone down.
Here are the comments that were approved last night. Larry Sinclair’s comment is between my 2 comments.

When will you have a similar piece on Hillary Clinton?
I’m getting so tired of the inequitous presentation of the 2 Democratic candidates. Because sexism is much more accepted and subtle in our society, not much is made of it in this election, only racism because it is easier to identify and talk about. Most of the male announcers take great pleasure in putting Hillary down but give Obama nothing but accolades. It’s discusting. Even if you don’t want her as president, her achievements, as a woman in this American society, are enormous and should be honored. And one day perhaps she will be respected as much as an African American man because, really, after all is said and done, a woman in the White House would be the only REAL change!

I will look forward to watching this piece. Ever since Obama came into this race, I have noticed TWO of him. I hate to put it this way but: there is a side he shows to the blacks and “minorities” and a side he shows to the typical white folks. I think he is still confused about who he is. I get the impression EVEN he doesnt believe in himself. I would love a piece in the media to focus on his TONE OF SPEECH while he is talking to the two different groups. One is street slang and the other is for the white folk. While some might feel he is adjusting to the group he is talking to and that he can “fit” into any genre, it simply isn’t true. Actually, it’s downright insulting.
 
I truly hope people know WHO they are voting for in this election.

It is just great to know and see America in Obama. This is something that the Anderson Coopers can read and say ” I am Proud to be an American. This is because of all the Obama’s in it, that ’s what makes it so colorful and beautiful so “That boy’s finger does NEED to be on the button”
 
Ms Clinton’s kitchen sink has hit all of us especialy Black america, and a lots going to change when Obama faces that other guy.
Many have served this country. but why sshould we vote for someone simple because he was a soldier. many of voluntered. many of us came back and are in wheel chairs, he’s no special than the rest of us.
 
AND YES AMERICA IS BITTER, Bitter about people like the Clintons who cannot see the pain of lost jobs, lost homes, not house, food and gas prices etc,.
 
may the real BLACK PRESIDENT COME ON DOWN and press the button if he has to.

Well, a lot of us are searching for the real Obama.
It has been made more difficult due to Obama not complying
with Illinois FOIA and records access laws and by his evasive
reponses.
What we know about Obama is scary enough.
Anyone with doubts should follow the Tony Rezko trial
and check out the Oprah site for her show in April
2004 about down low.

In search of Obama?? I am sure Mr B. Obama knows who he is, Where he came from and surely where he’s going. He is not mixed up. Those of you looking for him, look inside of yourselves. This Young man is what make us all proud to be American. I can understand his wife’s Comment about the fist time she felt proud to be an american. Not the twisted way in how the comment was used, but to understand how long it took for a black man to come to the point and make it this far in running for the presidency. Oh, many will never know what it means to be black. because you just cannot, and never will, America is getting a shake up and OBAMA has to be president or something is totally wrong with this USA. Your Polls don’t mean a thing and saying that Ms clinton have a higher averege of winning here and there makes no sence not a penny. she has lost this election and she knows it.

I have been researching Obama extensively and have written
quite a few articles about him.
I was initially a huge skeptic of Larry Sinclair. The more
I researched Obama and the more Larry was attacked personally
and the more I was attacked for asking simple questions, the
more believable Larry’s allegations are.
Obama is hiding something.

Barack Obama has lost his 10 point lead over John McCain in a presidential matchup. Obama and McCain are in a statistical tie in a Associated Press-Ipsos national poll taken Thursday, April 10, 2008. Obama dropped 10 points among women from February to April. Clinton and Obama basically maintained their prior positions against each other.

The results from a unscientific poll taken  on AOL, Friday, April 11, 2008 at 9:00 EDST are as follows:

Larry Sinclair, Obama Campaign, lies, attacks, allegations, Female Law Student, complaint, Judge Kennedy

Larry Sinclair has alleged an encounter with Barack Obama
between November 3 and November 8, 1999. Sinclair alleges
that he and Obama used drugs in a limousine and had another
drug encounter.Larry Sinclair has been repeatedly attacked
for making these allegations and has stated that the personal
attacks have come from “blind” Obama supporters and bloggers
associated with the Obama Campaign. One of the attackers,
referred to as Female Law Student and Concerned Citizen,
attacks Larry personally and tries to destroy his credibility
with purported facts. I have received numerous personal
attacks and attempts at discrediting my posts. All I have
done is ask questions. I notified Larry Of the comments
from Female Law Student. Here is his response:

ADDED BY LARRY:Thank you, I find it comical that the Pacer system is available to anyone who pays for its services, furthermore this ALLEGED law student is from the University of Michigan, I believe it to be the individual who posts as “Concerned Citizen” and it is just comical that these people try to say that Judge Kennedy’s ORDER is a fake, and that no motion was ever filed, when it was, and these are to be our future legal representatives? It is all these students who will die for Obama, and for what, so he can take their loan and grant money to send me letters thanking me for writing him yet not address my request for his records? I do not even waste my time thinking about so called law students who can’t give there names, but wasn’t Axelrods drunken woman fondling son supposed to be studying law at the U of Michigan?

Yeah, I guess I am a joke. Well at least a will be a rich joke who decided to believe the next president of the United States. Also, my point in stating that Larry Sinclair was not on the schedule was not to state that the order was fake, but to show that once again Larry was the only person stating his claim. The anonymous bloggers now have to deal with Larry’s claims because he got nowhere in a court of law against Senator Obama. So I guess I will leave this blog now and I have renewed hope in the fact that I am a joke. Goodbye Larry, it was nice spending the day chatting with you. I have exams to prepare for so that I can begin to make money the good old way of working for it.

ADDED BY LARRY:Thank you Mr/Ms Axelrod, I have already stated Obama and Axelrod are going to try the same thing you state here, but there is one problem with that sweetheart, he cannot even think of trying to come out now and say he has records showing him to be somewhere else after claiming to every media outlet for almost a year he cannot produce any records not even personal ones because he didn’t keep them. Just because your precious Obama says something does not make it true, and baby has that been proven over and over again by his own lips.

 am finding it amazing the way that the “law students” that have attacked Mr. Sincliar, his ethics, and his credibility, are probably violating the ethics of their law school by using their LexisNexis access on anythi ng that does not pertain to their educational requirements. I don’t see research on Mr. Sinclair is being a part of that. Lexis Nexis is available to many people in many different professions, but I do know, having attended law school, that one agrees not to use the service for personal reasons or for internship work outside of the law school.

Female law student– better check the policies you agreed to when you started at your top law school.

    And another thing, it is so disingenuous for you to act as if all the pieces of the puzzle and falling together to show that Larry Sinclair maybe telling the truth. That is bull and you know it. Anyone who has worked a day in their life knows the reasons people miss work and for you to suggest that Senator Obama missing work on the day that Sinclair “claims” that they had one of their “encounters” is so irresponsible and unbalanced that you really should stop. As a highly educated individual I am insulted by your posts and as a member of the legal community I am insulted by Sinclairs accusations and those who support his nonsense that has no legal foundation. I wish someone would accuse you of something and then see how it feels. Get a life and some education will ya!

    First of all I am not an alleged law student. I am a law student at one of the top universities in the country. As far as the motions are concerned go to the US district court for the district of columbia and look at the calendar and see if you see any motion hearings for Larry Sinclair’s “motion on the calendar or assigned to Kennedy. After you do your research then give me a call. Another thing, as a law student I have access to Lexis Nexis. Lexis is a search engine of all, ALLLLLLLL, cases filed in the ENTIRE COUNTRY. I did a search under “larry sinclair” and “lawrence sinclair” and NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING came up. You see my dear, there are people who have access to information that you as common people do not. AND MAYBE THIS IS WHY THE NEWS OUTLETS ARE NOT CARRYING THIS STORY. They probably have access to Lexis also.

    Regarding the MSM.
    I assume you recall the many questions from the likes of Tim Russert, The Chicago Tribune, etc
    regarding Obama’s records when he was serving
    in the Illinois Senate. He was also asked about
    his schedule outside of the senate. He gave, perhaps, the most evasive, suspect answers I have ever heard. He sounded like a criminal.
    The more people like you react to my questions in an emotional manner with personal attacks, the more convinced I am that Obama is hiding something.

    I apologize if I came across as arrogant, that was not my attempt. Poor choice of words, “common people”. What I am trying to get across is that you and everyone who chooses to believe Larry Sinclair’s “story” to be true are doing something that you cannot fully appreciate. Imagine for a minute that someone who doesn’t like you or just wants to get publicity decides to tell a story about something you did in your past that you cannot defend because it is your words against the person. Imagine that the persons story cuts against the core of who you are and what you have worked so hard to achieve. Imagine that even if you could go to a court of law and win that the win doesn’t matter because the bad publicity has caused people to second guess you and then you lose your job or some other status in public because of this allegation. Imagine that the person makes these claims and you were home sick at the time. Imagine that you have no proof to show that you were home sick. No matter what your political affiliations are, we should demand that Larry Sinclair offer up his so called “proof” before we convict Senator Obama on the web. This goes against everything this country’s wonderful judicial system is built on . One is innocent before proven to be guilty. I hope that something like this doesn’t happen to you.

    Anyone can file a case. If I wanted to I can file a case against you tomorrow filled with allegations. I don’t have to offer up not one single shred of evidence to support my allegations. That is where is motion for summary judgment would come it. If Senator Obama had airline tickets proving that he and his family were in Hawaii, at a motion for summary judgment that would end the case and that’s it. However, Senator Obama is in a very sticky place. If he responds to Larry Sinclair, then the MSM will be all over the story and in this country once it is on the news it will stick. And between the time he files his motion for summary judgment and the time the court actually hears the arguments and rules, the primary would be over and he would have lost because everyone would have convicted him in the media. Forget about how his wife and family would feel about this person making this allegations against Senator Obama. This is why Larry Sinclair is on the web, using the web to convict Senator Obama. Please don’t fall for it.

    Thanks for getting back.
    I have been consistent in my wording.
    I have always referred to Larry Sinclair’s claims
    as allegations.
    I have a strong business background and have worked with and been around attornies and accountants all of my adult life.
    My first job was with a top accounting firm.
    I understand records and record keeping.
    A recent example that comes to mind is the opinion of 2 major law firms and their recommendation regarding the length of time
    for real estate professionals in NC to keep records. Most of the minimum legal requirements are 3 years. These 2 prominent law firms are recommending 10 and 12 years.
    I was in business for myself almost half of my former life career spanning over 30 years. I kept appointment books and mileage records and I still have some from 1993 and probably older.
    There are too may red flags about Obama’s past and responses. Obama has not been forthright in responding to requests for his records.
    As I have repeatedly stated, I hope that the allegations made about him are false.

    Okay, so I worked for six years before coming to law school. Every year once I was there for three years, I dumped everything that was older than two years. Now you are talking about a young male Illinois Senator who didn’t have a secretary. That is a fact. If I had to guess, I would imagine that his schedule keeping was sloppy and he probably didn’t think it was important to keep after all he wasn’t the president or something. So can you just try to imagine that the Senator is probably telling the truth that he may have just dumped daily schedules once he became a US Senator. When I left my job for to come to law school that is exactly what I did. I dumped all my schedules and paperwork that was not necessary for someone who would be taking over my job. Why can you not understand that. Why does it have to be something sinister and shady. My god, is that where we are in this country! We always have to assume the worse. I dump my schedules all the time and this is a dude. He ain’t caring about schedules that is what a secretary is for and he did not have one. Cut the man some slack.

    I understand and appreciate the fact that Obama
    is in an awkward position. He put himself in that position. If he had been more cooperative and more proactive in providing records about his activities during the span of time when he was in the Illinois Senate, the allegations would never have grown in importance and mystique.
    What I mean is a resonable accounting for his life, in the senate and away from the senate. He was not in the senate on November 4 1999. There should be a record of his activities. That is only one day out of many. Forget the Sinclair allegations for a moment. What was Obama doing the rest of the time?
    Obama has just as many credibility issues as Sinclair. He has also chosen to associate with many questionable personalities including criminals.

    Okay so I am what one call a pretty decent person. I found a ring on the ground once and turned it in to the lost and found for my neighborhood. So my sister got married and my brother in law and I are good friends and I helped him start his own plumbing business. Turns out that my brother in law got arrested for cocaine use. True story. I am not lying. Do you think that I am questionable because I did business with my brother in law, a criminal. Is the business that I helped him create a criminal enterprise because of his drug use. Or is it that Senator Obama did legal transactions with someone who turned out to have a criminal side to him. Let’s not think the worst of the Senator.

    Point:
    A. When I was his age I kept records.
    B. He was an experienced attorney.
    C. I am not running for president.
    D. He had some political aspirations.
    E. There should be a record or recollection of missing the important first day after the summer break.
    F. My opinion: if he didn’t keep records he was
    incompetent or if he disposed of them he was incompetent.

    As you know, the degree of scrutiny applied and documentation necessary, depends on the job being applied for. Obama is applying for the job of President of the US.
    Point of law: Accessory before, during and after the fact.
    Guilt by association: at the very least social stigma. Criminal background checks go into many details. If there is a hint of mispropriety, an applicant can be dismissed from further consideration.
    Regarding your situation: you are not running for president.

    Citizen Wells, good luck. Honestly, we are coming from to different points of view. I choose to by default believe in the good of Senator Obama. I choose to believe that Larry Sinclair, whose case against Senator Obama was unequivocally dismissed in the Minnesota district court (go and look it up in Pacer), is seeking publicity. I choose to believe that a judge seeing all the evidence that Larry and his lawyer brought forward believed that no reasonable person on a jury could find in his favor. That is the judicial standard for a case to be dismissed so early. I choose to believe that Senator Obama will be a great President. Now its your time to choose. I truly hope you will choose not to believe the worst about Senator Obama.

    I seek the truth.
    All of the candidates must be held to a high standard.
    I have many concerns about Obama. These concerns have come about from reading factual data from a broad variety of sources. Some allegations gain credence in the context of known facts and unanswered questions.
    One of my darker skinned friends phrased it well a few weeks ago. “We really don’t know Obama.”
