Scott Brown, election certification delayed, Paul Kirk, Deval Patrick, MA, Health care bill, Ted Kennedy, Sean Hannity, Fox, Senator, Senate election, Boston Herald, Democrat Party chicanery

The Scott Brown senate race against MA Attorney General Martha Coakley is tight and MA and national Democrats such as Harry Reid are beginning to sweat. Paul Kirk, the temporary senator who replaced Ted Kennedy, has stated he will vote for the Health Care Bill. I have stated on numerous occasions that I can not comprehend how any concerned, informed and patriotic American can support the modern day Democrat Party. The following report is one of many examples of why I hold this belief.
From The Boston Herald, January 9, 2010.
“Scott Brown swearing-in would be stalled to pass health-care reform”
“It looks like the fix is in on national health-care reform – and it all may unfold on Beacon Hill.

At a business forum in Boston Friday, interim Sen. Paul Kirk predicted that Congress would pass a health-care reform bill this month.

“We want to get this resolved before President Obama’s State of the Union address in early to mid-February,” Kirk told reporters at a Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce breakfast.

The longtime aide and confidant of the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, who was handpicked by Gov. Deval Patrick after a controversial legal change to hold Kennedy’s seat, vowed to vote for the bill even if Republican state Sen. Scott Brown, who opposes the health-care reform legislation, prevails in a Jan. 19 special election.”

“But if Brown wins, the entire national health-care reform debate may hinge on when he takes over as senator. Brown has vowed to be the crucial 41st vote in the Senate that would block the bill.

The U.S. Senate ultimately will schedule the swearing-in of Kirk’s successor, but not until the state certifies the election.”

“Friday, Brown, who has been closing the gap with Coakley in polls and fund raising, blasted the political double standard.

“This is a stunning admission by Paul Kirk and the Beacon Hill political machine,” said Brown in a statement. “Paul Kirk appears to be suggesting that he, Deval Patrick, and (Senate Majority Leader) Harry Reid intend to stall the election certification until the health care bill is rammed through Congress, even if that means defying the will of the people of Massachusetts. As we’ve already seen from the backroom deals and kickbacks cut by the Democrats in Washington, they intend to do anything and everything to pass their controversial health care plan. But threatening to ignore the results of a free election and steal this Senate vote from the people of Massachusetts takes their schemes to a whole new level. Martha Coakley should immediately disavow this threat from one of her campaign’s leading supporters.””

    Prof. Jacobson visited Scott Brown’s HQ today and is posting updates at his blog and on Twitter. Here’s an excerpt from his blog:

    “The parking lot was full on a Saturday (bottom photo).

    I made calls and I overheard others on the phone. The response we have been getting from independents is overwhelmingly supportive. From the calls I made, people seemed genuinely angry with the current state of the economy and politics. The support was genuine, not just lip service to get me off the phone.

    People are furious at the attempt to delay a certification if Brown wins. That point hits home with a lot of the people we have called.

    While money is coming in, they need more to make it to the finish line in 10 days. Donate online if you can, since the phones are so busy here.”

    BREAKING: Corporate Lobbyists in Eleventh-Hour Coakley Bailout

    “Of the 22 names on the host committee–meaning they raised $10,000 or more for Coakley–17 are federally registered lobbyists, 15 of whom have health-care clients. Of the other five hosts, one is married to a lobbyist, one was a lobbyist in Pennsylvania, another is a lawyer at a lobbying firm, and another is a corporate CEO. Oh, and of course, there’s also the political action commitee for Boston Scientific Corporation.

    All the leading drug companies have lobbyists on Coakley’s host committee: Pfizer, Merck, Amgen, Sanofi-Aventis, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Astra-Zeneca, and more. On the insurance side of things, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, HealthSouth, and United Health all are represented on the host committee.”

  7. Doing a little pondering today. I’m sitting back once again in amazement at the audacity of ALL our pols. We keep waiting for that “smoking gun” and “the other shoe” to drop…but it’s ALL so blatant to me it’s mind numbing.

    I know without any doubt that the Republicans would’ve never lasted 10 minutes with this sort of stuff. The Dems have always been ruthless. As much as I’ve always known the standards were different between the two parties, it’s still mind boggling.

    I’m ashamed of the Republicans for not having any spine at all. No wonder they’ve been so walked on all these years, they must take their own responsibility for their lack of spine. We must rid the gov’t of spineless Republicans. They’ve got to at least fight as hard as the Dems or they may as well just pack up and go home.

  8. Been reading Sarah Palin’s book. I’m impressed to say the least. She’s definitely got something special and is a hard working and driven person. I have no doubt whatesoever she has what it takes to be President and would finally be someone with BACKBONE. More of a man then all those men on Capitol Hill put together!

  9. Rocknee, Sarah might not endorse him because she is much more staunch pro-life than he is. After a little soul searching, I decided I would vote for him, given the choice–still fearing his position leaves too much room for “tinkering”.

    Now she may very well come out and endorse him, I don’t know..But that’s just my best guess for now!

  10. truthbetold11

    Sarah needs to time this perfectly because obama will try to make a surprise visit a few days ahead. I’m sure there is a poker match going to show who will tip their hand first and endorse first.

    The crotch bomber was ‘singing like a canary’ BEFORE his arrest. QUOTE: “The chance to secure crucial information about al-Qaeda operations in Yemen was lost because the Obama administration decided to charge and prosecute Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab as an ordinary criminal, critics say. He is said to have reduced his co-operation with FBI interrogators on the advice of his government-appointed defence counsel.

    “The potential significance became chillingly clear this weekend when it was reported that shortly after his detention, he boasted that 20 more young Muslim men were being prepared for similar murderous missions in the Yemen. The lawyer for the 23-year-old Nigerian entered a formal not guilty plea on Friday to charges that he tried to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner on December 25 – even though he reportedly admitted earlier that he was trained and supplied with the explosives sewn into his underwear by al-Qaeda in the Arab state.” “He was singing like a canary, then we charged him in civilian proceedings, he got a lawyer and shut up,” Slade Gorton, a member of the 9/11 Commission that investigated the Sept 2001 terror attacks on the US, told The Sunday Telegraph.”

    wins sounds like an election lawsuit to me.
    Let’s see, there seems to be ONGOING Election

    If this does occur, this may just lead to

    There is absolutely NO reason not to validate

  22. @Don:

    I agree with you. I think the republicans are willfully complicit. No one could possibly be as dumb or as ineffective as they are. They are simply deceiving us by playing the typical washington shell game.

    I expect that if Brown does get elected and seated, then one of the usual suspect repubs will switch their vote to get the federal agenda passed.

    Massachusetts was the birthplace of our Independence, where the ’shot heard round the world’ signaled the end for one country, and the beginning for another. Many Patriots came from the Great Bay State. And now on January 19, there is a chance for Massachusetts to help Americans and true Patriots rise in defense of our selves, our families, and our Nation.
    When Texasdarlin came back, I knew that whatever it was, it would be something important to compel her to do so–and the Senate candidacy of Scott Brown did that. And as expected, her posts and work on his behalf are superb.
    Scott Brown is the 41st vote against the Democrats agenda, and his place in the Senate will give all Patriots some breathing room as we work hard to make some changes this year in what may likely be manufactured close key senate and House race results. Our vigilance is needed, as Scott Brown’s vigilance is needed in the Senate.
    And this video is remarkable:

    Ya know, I don’t really care which set of thugs Croakley has coming to her aid; I can see that even the people in this moonbat state are tired of what the Dems have done to America. It may not come down to the candidate rather, the *party.* This state votes the party (like the sheeples they are) and not the candidate, but I see the shift because the Dems have done such a pathetic job. Just my feeling as I travel around and gab with folks.

    Glad you made it through, Don! I’ll bet you could see what was happening from your vantage point; I’ll also bet you were horrified. I’ve studied them and mapped them but bar a few minor quakes, I’ve never experienced anything over a 3.5. AK was a very rare event.

    “Occam’s Razor” is a logical and philosophical principle that says when presented with several options to explain observed phenomena, the simplest one is likely the right one.

    In this particular case, it may be “worse than that”. I can’t even think of any other possible options! I would like to think that this is not true – the consequences are too dire. But my imagination fails me. This has got to be it.

    Or, let’s think about it a different way. Let is say there is no evil intent or premeditation to get to this point. Further, let us say that there is really no hidden agenda behind healthcare, capntrade, etc. – that the originators and adherents of these concepts are really attempting to make America better. The fact still remains that by accident or via “unintended consequences” the stars have aligned into the current configuration. A tree has been created with the best Power Apples in the history of the planet. Who, when in power already, would have the moral fortitude not to pick them?

    You see, you do not even need to assume or believe that tyrants currently exist. You just need to understand that the current situation and trends will, at a minimum, CREATE tyrants.

    Aiding and abetting the enemy is pretty much the basic definition of TREASON!

    Race, ideology, party affiliation, Chicago thuggery, criminality, communism, etc. etc.
    are all either non-issues or issues we can work around or insulate ourselves against.

    But plain bold TREASON is something we cannot allow to stand.

    This man is an anti-american foreign inflitrator. Every day he does more and more to prove this point.

    Would that also explain why they are ignoring the American people? The majority of the people do not want the health care program, so they push for it over the peoples objections just because they think it will be better for America?? No, I don’t think so. They are not that stupid. This program to destroy America is planned.

  78. The honorable reverend JD Manning is one of my favorites. He is a hero!

    However, please be advised that he has no evidence of his latest proclamations other than what we all know already. He is just connecting the dot’s and not afraid to state the logical conclusion.

    I personally believe it is all planned. It’s just that some people (MSM? Others?) see it as a personal attack to say it is all planned. Therefore they are unwilling to go there.

    My point is that you can arrive at the same conclusion, even if you start with a benign assumption that it is/was an accident.

    The other day, the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco ruled that because Washington State prisons seem to have quite a few minorities as residents, they have been discriminated against and should be allowed to vote.
    Meanwhile, a Bremerton man who has worked as a federal firefighter and was allowed to work with explosives is on his way to prison because he had a 1990 burglary conviction that prohibits him from owning firearms for life. His problem is that his wife owned a couple of guns before they were married, so when he called police to their home in November 2008 to report a burglary, he advised them that there were guns in the home, so rather than searching for a burglar, the cops cuffed him instead.

    Hi Rocknee, and thanks!

    Yes, I’m aware of this research by Dr. Zamboni in Italy and have that article, as well as the follow-up with the clinical trial in Buffalo.

    I called my Neurologist and he told me to send him that article.

    Right now they’re enrolling an eager group of 1700 folks for the trials at the University of Buffalo; we’re awaiting the results which won’t come for a while.

    MS has always been thought of as an autoimmune disease however, if it can be proven that it’s vascular (with the accumulation of iron being the culprit) that changes the way we think about MS and the treatment for it.

    I shy away from the words ‘breakthrough’ and ‘cure’ because, like the eligibility issue, you can’t get your hopes up too soon.

    I’ve copied that article multiple times and sent it to my local hospitals/docs so that they can pass it along.

    Maybe this debilitating disease will finally be nailed? In the meantime, MS patients just try to keep that chin up, and pray that this is it!

The problem being that every time I have just a few reservations that I think “ok, I can live with that I think” , then the person just goes completely off the reservation in no time flat. I’m sure former Republicans on this board can relate to that.

    I guess it comes down to a matter of trust and I’m really low on that commodity at the moment.

  111. And as much as I love Hannity, he really should’ve challenged him on that. I realize that Hannity has a short attention span. 113. I completely agree, ticktock. Heck, I have had ADD my entire life, and it has affected me greatly, but even I am able to focus on such things. Sometimes I think my ADD helped me when I was growing up, because having not paid much attention in school, the liberals failed to brainwash me 😀

    I consider myself a former republican, although I am still registered as one so that I can participate in primary voting here in Florida. I know Hannity calls himself a conservative as opposed to a republican now, and I can understand why.

    At this point, I am still going to say that I hope Brown wins, and that I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt, but if he turns out to be another typical republican…I doubt that I will support anyone with an R by their name at any point in the future.

    I’m tired of being lied to, I’m tired of being betrayed, and I am tired of being stabbed in the back.

  114. I hear ya Baraq, totally. I consider myself a former Republican also. and Sean has left the Republican party.

    My hope now(and the bright side is it does look like this is happening)that Republicans are going to be watched and held accountable like never before. Many more awake people that’s for sure! So we must keep hoping for the best and now we can add PUSHING for the best…which I think was a missing ingredient in the past. 🙂

  115. CONSTITUTION ISLAND & “I LOVE JESUS”

    A Wonderful And Timely Story

    Several years ago I was sitting around thinking of my youth and all of a sudden the song “Jesus Loves Me ” came into my head. I always loved this song in Sunday School and through the years I suddenly notice I don’t hear it anymore. I went to the computer and googled up “Jesus Loves Me” and it came up with the writer being Anna B. Warner. I did a wikipedia on her and got the Constitution Island Ass’n. Here is the story –

    The Life of Anna Warner

    In 1944, John Hersey wrote an article for The New Yorker entitled “Survival.” This was the story, told to him by John F. Kennedy, concerning the rescue of Kennedy and his crew after their PT boat was destroyed in the Solomons. After being stranded several days on an island, Kennedy and his men were discovered by two natives Through the efforts of these natives, who led a rescue boat to the island, the men were saved. Hersey concludes his dramatic account with this anecdote: “Johnston (one of the rescued men) retired topside and sat with his arms around a couple of roly poly, mission-trained natives. And in the fresh breeze on the way home they sang together a hymn all three happened to know:

    “Jesus loves me, this I know,
    For the Bible tells me so:
    Little ones to Him belong.
    They are weak,
    but He is strong.
    Yes, Jesus loves me;
    yes, Jesus loves me . . . . ”

    To Hersey’s readers, in the midst of World War II, these well-known words with their simple expression of faith must have had a special meaning. This familiar hymn, carried all over the world by nineteenth century missionaries, has long been a part of the Christian education of many children. The simple words and lilting tune are easily learned and thus make it a great favorite in Sunday school classes for young children. No doubt, it was this same simplicity that made it so popular with the missionaries for, apparently, once learned, it is never forgotten. Therefore, it is not so surprising that it should pop up as a common bond between the American sailors and the Solomon Island natives.

    Jesus Loves Me first appeared in a novel, Say and Seal, published in 1860.

    The book was co-authored by Susan and Anna Warner, and the hymn itself was written by Anna. In Say and Seal the hymn was sung to a little boy who was very ill by his beloved school teacher and friend. The child-like faith expressed in the words were inspired by Anna’s own profound faith in God. The two Warner sisters were writers who enjoyed great popularity during the latter half of the nineteenth century. Today their books are unread and out of print, but the two women, themselves, are not forgotten.

    Susan and Anna Warner ARE THE ONLY CIVILIANS BURIED IN THE MILITARY CEMETARY at West Point. Their life long home on Constitution Island, directly across the river from West Point is maintained as a museum. The story of how this all came about is a charming vignette in the long history of the United States Military Academy.

    The year following the purchase of the island, Mr. Warner suffered severe financial losses in the “Panic of 1837″. In 1838 the beautiful town house was sold and the family moved to Constitution Island. Here, Anna wrote, they would “live out our lives, fighting the fight, wrestling with sorrow, gathering up the joy—”. She concluded: “How little discernment a buyer has at first as to the capabilities of his new purchase! For what “palace” could ever have been as dear to us as our old Revolutionary nondescript house?”

    Anna was thirteen years old and Susan eighteen when they came to the island to live. Young Anna, as she roamed the island, picking wild flowers, exploring the sites of old Revolutionary forts and rowing on the river, barely realized the financial difficulties of her father. Shortly after their move to Constitution Island, Mr. Warner became involved in lengthy litigation with his neighbors on the east bank over his property rights; a litigation which he finally lost. he next decade saw the little family reduced to desperation and faced with eviction; their beloved island property in the hands of a receiver.

    Here is a follow up
    Miss Warner’s Boys

    In 1875 the opportunity came for Susan and Anna Warner to communicate their faith to the cadets at West Point. At the request of several cadets, Susan began a Bible class for them on Sunday afternoons in the Cadet Chapel. Anna tells us:, “The first day, there was a very large gathering, curiosity helping on the numbers. After that, it varied from week to week, as must be always, I suppose; especially among Cadets, where guard duty sometimes interferes; and where Sunday is the free day for seeing friends.”

    “At home, in the summer, they met in our tent near the house, the forage caps tossed out upon the grass; the gray figures in all sorts of positions in and out of the tent”.

    Following is a vivid account of these classes written by a former cadet and published in 1925 by Olivia Phelps Stokes in her biography of the sisters.

    “The visits to Constitution Island were regarded as a great privilege, for not only did they make a break in the severe routine of the daily life but they enabled the boys to roam further a field than was possible at the Academy, where the restrictions of the cadet limits were pretty irksome to boys accustomed to the free run of the town or country. So the privilege of going to Constitution Island as one of “Miss Warner’s boys” was eagerly sought and highly prized. Every Sunday afternoon during the summer encampment the sisters would send their elderly man of all work after the favored ones. He pulled the old flat-bottomed boat across the river to the West Point dock, where the boys with the coveted permits were wailing for him. Usually the trip back was accompanied with more or less excitement, for the boat was always loaded to the last inch of its carrying capacity.

    Miss Susan Warner awaited her guests in the orchard. She always sat in the same big chair supported by many cushions. She was a frail little woman with a long face deeply lined with thought and care, lighted with large, dark very brilliant eyes. As she sat in her chair with the boys in a semi-circle around her on the grass she looked like a print from Godey’s Lady’s Book of half a century before. She always wore silk dresses of a small flowered pattern, made with voluminous skirts of wonderful stiffness, and rustle, and small close fitting bodices. A rich Paisley shawl was always around her shoulders and a broad black velvet ribbon was bound around her hair, which was only slightly gray.

    After each of the boys had read a Bible verse. Miss Warner, choosing her subject from some New Testament text, talked to them for perhaps half an hour until her enthusiasm and interest had obviously almost exhausted her small strength. Her English was the best and purest I have ever heard, and as she went on and her interest grew her eyes shone, like stars and her voice became rich and warm. There was never any cant or sectarianism, and she always gave to the boys the brightest and most optimistic side of the faith she loved so well. When she had finished and lay back pale and weary against her cushions her sister. Miss Anna, came down from the house with the rare treat of the whole week, tea and homemade ginger-bread. After that the two sisters and the boys talked over the things of the world that seemed so far from that peaceful quiet orchard. The boys confided their aims and ambitions, and the sisters in the simplest, most unostentatious way sought to implant right ideals and principles. Miss Warner never forgot any of her boys, and up to the time of her death kept up a correspondence with many of them. This correspondence must have been voluminous, for it embraced men in every branch of the service, and included alike distinguished officers and cadets who had failed. . . “

    After the death of Susan Warner in 1885, Anna continued the Bible classes for cadets. Each week Buckner, her “elderly man of all work” would row her over to West Point to teach her Cadet Bible Class. She always brought with her individual nosegays of flowers from her garden to brighten up their rooms. Even though she often remained on the island up through early December, she never failed to meet her class. One time, in late November, this intrepid lady records that she started out, with Buckner rowing the boat, but was forced to turn back midway in the river because of storm and wind. So the classes continued up until the time of Anna Warner’s death in 1915.

    DO YOU THINK THEY TEACH SUNDAY SCHOOL THERE TODAY?

    On January 7, 2010, a date that will live in infamy, Lou Dobbs, the once brave defender of American sovereignty, appeared on the O’Reilly Factor and sold his country down the river. For years Lou Dobbs has insisted that we must establish that our borders are under control before even discussing amnesty. He said it so many times that I am reminded of Obama’s promise that health care discussions would be on C-SPAN. (A search of this site for the terms Dobbs and fence finds 581 articles.)

    Up until now I had withheld judgment on Dobbs, even after some questionable statements, especially his appearance on Telemundo.

ADHD people are quite impulsive and many time speak without realizing their comments can be hurtful. I like to say their mouth doesn’t have a brake.

    Another characteristic of AD/HD is risk taking. Their impulsivity also lends to action without thinking about consequences. The man who runs into a burning building to save a child, likely is ADHD. Didn’t stop to think that maybe he could die. They are our heroes. I wonder how far Glenn was into his exposition of the Obama administration when he realized his life was in danger.

    Sean Hannity – I don’t see the AD/HD but hearing some descriptions of his childhood, maybe.

    Martha Coakley’s campaign in Massachusetts is imploding.
    We know this, because the big guns are getting called in on the national level to come to Massachusetts to save “the Kennedy Seat”. Here in Chicago, that means people we like very much, big money people, are putting the pressure — BIG PRESSURE — on the big Democrat families and donors here to pony up and bail out the Coakley campaign.
    We’ve been told to shut our mouths and stop helping Scott Brown. This is now coming from people we actually really like, and not just the Democrats we generally ignore in this town.

  135. Who says Al Qaeda takes credit for a bombing? Rita Katz. Who gets us bin Laden tapes? Rita Katz. Who gets us prettymuch all information telling us Muslims are bad? Rita Katz?

    Rita Katz is the Director of Site Intelligence, primary source for intelligence used by news services, Homeland Security, the FBI and CIA. What is her qualification? She served in the Israeli Defense Force. She has a college degree and most investigative journalists believe the Mossad “helps” her with her information. We find no evidence of any qualification whatsoever of any kind. A bartender has more intelligence gathering experience.

    Nobody verifies her claims. SITE says Al Qaeda did it, it hits the papers. SITE says Israel didn’t do it, that hits the papers too. What does SITE really do? They check the internet for “information,” almost invariably information that Israel wants reported and it is sold as news, seen on American TV, reported in our papers and passed around the internet almost as though it were actually true. Amazing.

    McCaskill: Open up health-care deliberations
    By Bill Lambrecht
    Post-Dispatch Washington Bureau

    Editorial writers, bloggers and opponents of the Democrats’ efforts to overhaul the health insurance system are decrying the decision thus far to bypass the traditional Senate-House conference that nearly everyone expected in favor of informal deliberations.

    Add Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill’s voice to the dissenters. McCaskill, a supporter of the insurance overhaul, reiterated in a statement this afternoon that she believes that the health-care talks should continue in an open conference.

    “Hundreds of hours of debate on health-csare reform — both in committee hearings and on the Senate and House floors — have been open to the public through broadcast on C-SPAN,” her statement read.

    “I believe that the best way for these negotiations to occur is through the conference committee process, and I have communicated my opinion to the leadership of my party in the Senate.”

    McCaskill put out her statement after a spirited discussion this morning with Jamie Allman and Dana Loesch on 97.1 FM TALK’s Allman in the Morning program. The two pressed her during their fierce criticism of the congressional efforts to issue a strongly worded statement.

    A spokeswoman for McCaskill said that McCaskill had previously expressed a desire for transparency in the negotiations.

    For the sake of brevity, I’ve never known anyone, male or female, who has the stones Rita does. She was/is instrumental in exposing Islam ‘charities’ as money laundering organizations in the U.S. Sure, she does contract with the gub’mint because she gets the information they can’t.

    From Game Change, by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann

    Clinton senior strategist Mark Penn boasted to his staff how many times he managed to say “cocaine” on that famous Hardball segment (page 163).

    Hillary Clinton was initially pleased when her New Hampshire campaign chairman, Billy Shaheen, mentioned Obama’s previous use of drugs (page 161):

    “Hillary’s reaction to Shaheen’s remarks was, ‘Good for him!’ Followed by ‘Let’s push it out.’ Her aides violently disagreed, seeing what Shaheen had said as a PR disaster. Grudgingly, Clinton acquiesced to disowning Shaheen’s comments. But she wasn’t going to cut him loose. Why should Billy have to fall on his sword for invoking something that had been fair game in every recent election?”

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Jacquelin:
    We recently reread your article regarding Obama’s ineligibility. Bill Parson is a Constitutionally conservative candidate running for Harry Reid’s position in the U.S. Senate. We would love you to review his website (http://www.parsonforsenate2010.com/) and see if you can support his positions. Although there are many people running for Harry’s seat, he is the most conservative. He does not have “name recognition” or “millions of dollars” as does most of the other anointed candidates by the press. He only has vision, intelligence, honesty, integrity and a strong desire to get our Government back to a constitutional basis. We are a grass roots campaign and are not looking to raise millions of dollars, only enough votes to get a true patriot elected to the Congress.
    Reading your article we felt that you, also, are a patriot. We would welcome any support that you could give us.
    Thank you for your time.
    Linda Parson
    My response:
    Hi Linda….I am a supporter of Bill Parson…..I always put his name out there any chance I can get! I am sorry to say that I have no money but I will be a voice for his run. I think if he supports the efforts of millions of Americans like myself to expose the FRAUD in our White House he might gain even more support….he should call Nathan Deal’s office…the Congressman who sent a letter asking Obama for his credentials….including a real birth certificate…not the one he posted on line which is worthless….anyone can make something up. Bill needs to add this issue to his platform listed on his website and he may get a lot more support as NO ONE else running is pushing this issue publically and I know for a fact that many people are looking to leaders like Nathan Deal who wrote that letter!! Here’s the Congressman’s phone number….I would call him at…. 202-225-5211….we must expose the truth or our country is doomed!!! Right now everyone in DC is suppressing this issue along with the MSM….that is why we are looking at leaders who will follow the will of the people. The latest poll shows that 85% of Americans want to see the Fraud’s credentials….including his college records and legal birth certificate! I think if Bill assures people he will push investigating Obama he will garner a lot more support!! Thank you for your email and best wishes to Mr. Parson!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Linda….I love this part from the letter…..
    If we work hard and don’t give up, we’ll win.
    Senator Hottie McAwesome’s victory will be the first blow against the Liberal-Socialist Democrat Party for the Resistance Movement that’s forming, which will ultimately drive all 60 current Democrats from the Senate in the next three elections cycles. We can take back this country, from the only angle we have available to us at the moment: the Massachusetts Senate race.
    That angle is the centerfold.
    Our great hope is Scott Brown.
    His victory depends on never giving up, no matter what.
    *******************************************The only thing I would add is the first big blows have already been dealt in the election of Republicans in New Jersey and Virginia already…..GO Hottie McAwesome’s!!!!!!!
  175. US government makes a fortune off the backs of Californians every day in the form of tax on a gallon of gasoline. Californians also pay a fortune in all other forms of taxes on their economy, and employee withholding taxes, medicare, etc. The US government makes a lot of money off of the backs of all of it’s citizens, in every state.
    If a State is in trouble financially, it should be no problem at all for the US government to help out That State, after all, the US government gets a lot of tax revenue from California, and all of the other States. Give them back some of their own money, but States have to balance their budgets to qualify for rebates.
    Allow the States to keep more of their own revenue that is generated by virtue of their economy and the people that make up that economy, revenue, that is collected for the US Treasury. Revenue collected by the bloated ship of State in Washington DC.
    As a person with ADD, I would agree with your assessment. It’s not an easy condition to live with at all. It has affected every aspect of my life. I have to admit that I am envious of other people whom I consider to be normal. Their lives seem so much easier to manage from my perspective.
    I have always considered myself to be a chaotic thinker as opposed to a logical thinker. I seem to be better at big picture thinking than detailed thinking. It has been clear to me for some time now that my brain works very differently than almost everyone else that I know. My ADD comes from my mom and her mom, but these were two great ladies despite this condition.
    There is no cure for it as far as I know. It seems like it is a hard wired condition, essentially God made me this way. I’m not going to become a slave to pills in order to try and manage it. I just try to control it by force of will, and taking measures against myself, knowing that I will react differently to certain situations or stimuli compared to people without ADD.
    It’s a real challenge for the parents and spouses too. Understanding ADHD is key to coping. That’s where a support group helps.
    I was a leader of our group for 10 years but after meetings twice a month, unending phone calls from frazzled parents, writing and mailing 1000+ newsletters, etc., eventually burn out set in. Been out of the loop for seven years.
    My husband won’t take meds but Ginko helps. I take it too and I’m not ADHD. When I have trouble remembering words, I know my ginko wore off. Exercise helps too. Gets the blood flowing through the brain.
    Ever Hear of Thom Hartmann, lib radio talk show host? He spoke at one of our conferences years ago. Wrote a book, Attention Deficit Disorder A Different Perception. Good book but I don’t like his politics. Another good book for adults is Driven to Distraction by Ed Hallowell. My ADD Bible for many years was written by a pioneer in ADHD diagnose and treatment, Paul Wender, MD. Title – The Hyperactive Child, Adolescent and Adult.
    Now I’m into genealogy. Are you 35 to 50 years old? Oh, and are you a man? Names aren’t always a good indicator of sex. I should know. I’m researching draft card info to compare with BO’s. Need to know if date of birth and place of birth is on draft cards.
  188. Hi Peter @ 1:50,
    Exactly!
    Now that it’s hit the press that the Dems plan to delay seating Brown, folks are in a lather because of the dirty, underhanded politics-as-usual in this state.
    Let me say this: If Cadillac Deval is behind this ‘delay’ in seating Scott, he’s pretty much fried the slim chance of his being reelected as Gov. this year. Period.
    Remember that they seated Niki Tsongas **two days** after the election so that she could vote on SCHIP. BTW, Tsongas has endorsed Croakley, so that should tell you something.
    Just called a friend and told her to vote for Scott, which she will. I also told her that if she didn’t, I wouldn’t be running over with any chix soup for her next time she has a cold. That did it. She listens now, because I warned her about Cadillac Deval and she voted for him, anyway. She’s now very sorry she did that!
    I would like to register my 5 pets to vote for Scott. With ACORN’s help, I can do that. They all have human names except for Angel…but I’m thinking that I could register him as ‘An-hell’ originally from Puerto Rico. It could work. (Sorry, being silly today).
    Just saw this at facebook…..anyone heard about it???
  190. Sue,
    While you’re at it, you can have ACORN register Desi, Mitzi, Callie, and Marco. Our dog, 2 cats and iguana.
  191. Jonah // January 10, 2010 at 2:34 pm
    Hi Jonah,
    You’ve got it! I have a ‘Mitzi,’ as well. Marco can be Angel’s neighbor from PR.
    The pets will pull off a win for Scott! 🙂
  192. Registering Pets to VOTE:
    One thing I can say is that PETA would support this and the other thing is that at least they were born in USA and they are alive these are all things that ACORN and Erosionist Lieberals don;t care about.
    Hi Jackie,
    Well, BrownBrigaders in the field have a seen a few Croakley signs, mostly on ‘common land’ like busy intersections and on the side of roads.
    The difference here is that Scott’s lawn signs are on people’s private property; they appear at locations where there are actual *voters* living there, not on some 3X5 patch of earth containing a traffic signal and a ‘yield’ sign.
    I think that’s pretty significant!
  194. Obama is falling and so is Ms “nos assets” Cockroachley
    I agree Sue……I hope for an earthquake of a different kind in Massachusetts on Jan. 19th….we must send these Liberal Morons a message that we are not messing around and we don’t like them messing around with our Constitution…..get rid of the FRAUD or they are done for!!!
    I just got another email from Bill Parson’s wife and reiterated that if Bill wants to win in Nevada and take away Dirty Harry’s seat he must confront the eligibility issue….none of the other candidates are doing it and I told her he will garner a lot of support if he does this ONE thing!!! She said they will call Nathan Deal’s office tomorrow and speak with whoever they can about it!!! Press on “birthers”!!!
  197. You guys in Mass. any word on the kind of voting machines that will be used in the upcoming election? Sequoia software machines apparently can manipulate the vote totals. How accurate will the vote count be?
    You can bet the democraps will do “everything” to win this election, including rigging the vote. This election is as critical to them, as it is to those of us that would like to see Scott Brown win. You can bet the democraps will pull out all of the stops to steal this election, just like they stole the election in NY 23rd district and the Senate race in Minnesota.
    Beware, they are criminals, and will declare themselves innocent until proven guilty, and you can see, they will not prosecute their own.
  198. Sue,
    Actually Marco is from my sister’s backyard in Miami.
    Peter,
    You are so funny! PETA supporting voting rights for animals! BTW In St. Louis, dead people can vote!
    Everyone,
    Remember to pray every night at 9pm EST.
  200. When you look at polls, notice whether they interviewed all voters or likely voters; whether this is a one-shot poll or a rolling poll, taken over a few days, and look at those days; and consider the margin of error.
    News of the Boston Globe poll hit me as odd, as compared to, for example, the PPP poll; until I saw, the Globe poll ran from January 2-6 and has a margin of error of 4.2 whereas the PPP poll ran from January 7-9 and has a margin of error of 3.6. (They interviewed a larger sample.) http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/PPP_Release_MA_45398436.pdf
    I agree, Jackie, and here’s hoping that the moonbats have come out of their caves. People have had it with the status quo, but are they disgusted enough to change it? Time will tell.
    Glad to read that Mr. Parson will touch base with Rep. Deal. It’s long past time that this issue be moved to the front burner; it’s the sole reason that America is imploding and it MUST be addressed by someone who has the stones to get it out there in a way the media can’t ignore it!
  203. bob strauss // January 10, 2010 at 3:37 pm
    Hi Bob,
    The Brown team is aware of the potential for voter fraud, and is also aware (and slamming back hard) of the attempt to delay his seating.
    I will find out on Monday how many voting machines are used here; I do know that in 2006 they were used *only* for the disabled so that they could cast their votes. I’m of the opinion that most, if not all, of the state is on paper ballots.
    I think that because of NY23, this one is being watched like a hawk!
  204. Jacqlyn Smith
    BTW Sue…I say bring Biden there all they want…he is such a moron….at this point NO ONE with an ounce of intelligence takes this guy seriously…..after all wasn’t he the one who was suppose to watch over the stimulus and make sure it got spent correctly……sending money to districts that don’t even exist isn’t watching over our money very well….the guy has NO credibility…..if I were CROAKley I would keep him and the FRAUD as far away as possible…..most people are fed up with these two JOKERS!!!!
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama_citizenship_conspiracy_theories
    Barack Obama was born on August 4, 1961, at the Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu, Hawaii,[13][14][15] to Ann Dunham,[16] herself a natural born citizen of the United States from Wichita, Kansas.[17] Obama’s father was Barack Obama, Sr., a Luo from Nyang’oma Kogelo, Nyanza Province, Kenya Colony. Obama’s parents were divorced in 1964. His mother subsequently married Indonesian student Lolo Soetoro, who was attending the University of Hawaii. The family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, in 1967,[18] where Obama attended a local public and a local private school until he was ten years old. He then returned to Honolulu to live with his maternal grandparents, Madelyn and Stanley Dunham, and has resided permanently in the United States since 1971.
    Response: If obama’s father is Barack Obama, Sr, how then is obama eligible to be President since he did not have two American parents?
    The Obama campaign responded in June 2008 by releasing his birth certificate and launching a website called “Fight the Smears”[22]
    Response: obama’s birth certificate has never been released which would show the Doctors name, Hospital name etc.
    FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as “supporting documents” to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.[17]
    Response: Anyone that accepts FactCheck as truthful, I have a bridge to sell you. The original birth certificate has not been seen or verified by any respectable person or organization.
    The director of Hawaii’s Department of Health, Chiyome Fukino, issued a statement confirming that the state held Obama’s “original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures”.[10][11].
    Response: Having the original birth certificate on file and revealing what it says is two different things.
  208. @Jonah:
    Regarding my draft card, sadly I cannot remember if date of birth or place of birth appeared on the card, and I no longer have it as it was lost in Hurricane Katrina.
    I called my mom and asked her if she remembers, but she cannot recall either. She also cannot remember if it appears on my brother’s card, who is ten years younger than me. I wish that I could be more helpful.
  209. SUEK
    You need to take a little ride to Backbay! Now would be a good time to get them fighting CROAKLEY. Those people can be some of Earth’s dirtiest fighters. When I was in Boston we used to call some of them SHANTY IRISH. It was ALWAYS nicer to have them on your side in a GINMILL DISCUSSION. i AM HEARING THAT A LOT OF THE PEOPLE THERE SUPPORT SCOTT.
  210. suek………………………….
    The Irish contingent of Backbay used to know how to get really p.o. when they didn’t like someone. A lot of those people used to be railroad workers, and some worked at the shipyard in Charlestown, or Todd.
