“Glenn Beck has presented the frightening spectre of Christmas past created by Obama. But as in Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”  it is the Ghost of Christmas Future that frightens me. The impact of Obamacare on our health care system and the combined impact of Obamacare and record deficit spending on our economy. The taxes of Christmas future to pay for Obama’s actions.”…Citizen Wells June 30, 2012

By March 26, 2010 I referred to Obamacare as a tax and control bill.

“Hospitals feeling the pinch”

“Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center launched a distress signal in a gathering storm when it said on Nov. 14 that it will cut 950 jobs.

That storm has at its center national health care reform, possible lower reimbursements for Medicare and Medicaid services, and an increasing number of older patients who need more care.

The hospital industry is in for a direct hit — that’s not in doubt.

But mass layoffs may be only one of many solutions for the health care industry’s problems.

The problem for hospitals is choosing the right one: mass layoffs, refined management techniques or some middle ground.

Wake Forest declined an interview request for this article. But it has said in other accounts that the roughly 6 percent staff cut is a pre-emptive measure for expected budget cuts and rising costs. And it expects remaining workers will become more productive as a result.

That’s a delicate balance, said Mark Graban, a national expert and consultant on health care management who lives in San Antonio, Texas.

“It’s easy to add up the cost savings of reduced payroll,” he said. “But it’s hard to add up the side effect of those layoffs.”

He said layoffs are sweeping the industry. Graban referred to a report from the American Hospital Association that says hospitals will cut 93,000 jobs during 2013.

Wake Forest and other major hospitals across the nation pledge that nurse-to-patient ratios won’t change despite the job cuts. Graban said that simple pledge may only mask lingering problems that hurt the quality of patient care.

Nurses and other professional staff, for example, see the headlines, see friends who may be laid off and work in fear, he said.

“A lot of times, quality and good patient outcomes are a result of nurses and other staff going above and beyond,” Graban said. “My concern would be not that the professionals are going to get lazy, but are they going to continue to be motivated to go above and beyond?”

Across the nation, he said, many medical centers are choosing “no layoff” policies and using management techniques pioneered in industry.

“Lean management” is a term many industries use for a variety of techniques that train workers to improve performance, make fewer mistakes and work with higher morale, he said.

Lean does not mean, as many joke, “Less Employees Are Needed.”

Graban worked with one hospital, ThedaCare in Appleton, Wis., which typifies the technique. The medium-size hospital manages conservatively, he said, doesn’t over-hire workers and saves cash for slow times.

Don Dalton, the spokesman for the N.C. Hospital Association, said hospitals throughout the state are using lean-management techniques — especially the smallest hospitals.

The coming changes could cost North Carolina’s hospitals up to $7.5 billion over the next 10 years , Dalton said.

With limited resources, the state’s small and medium-size hospitals feel financial pressure first, he said. So they are looking for any way they can to operate without compromising service.

Hospitals are combining resources to save money. In some cases, that means nothing more than “group buying” of supplies and services — lower prices for bulk buyers.

On a larger scale, Greensboro’s Cone Health signed a managing partnership earlier this year with Carolinas Health Systems in Charlotte.

Doug Allred, the spokesman for Cone, which employs more than 8,000 people , said: “We do not have plans for any layoffs right now.”

When asked to discuss issues facing the hospital industry in general, Allred said: “We are going to decline” an interview.

Jeffrey Miller, the president of High Point Regional Health System , freely discusses what led to the hospital’s planned merger with UNC Health Care.

He said that many unemployed people in the Triad don’t have health insurance, and those who do find that rising deductibles are too expensive.

“So we have a bad-debt problem,” Miller said.

Federal Medicare reimbursements have declined or remained flat, and the program is asking hospitals to fill out more documents to justify expenses.

And finally, the state, which administers Medicaid programs, is cutting its own stretched budget and program reimbursements.

As a result, High Point Regional has operated at a loss for two years. With its 2,212 workers, the hospital lost $40.8 million on unreimbursed care last year.

“It’s coming at us from all directions,” Miller said.

Through careful expense control, Miller said, High Point has not laid off workers, but it has had to cut hours from time to time to save money — and jobs.

Saving money, changing the way a hospital works, changing the way hospitals work together — all are key issues for UNC Health Care and its subsidiaries, said Karen McCall, vice president of public affairs and marketing for the system.

“We need to reduce costs, and all of us are aware of that and we’re trying to take steps to be able to do that through re-engineering,” she said.

Lean management is a big part of how UNC has managed its hospitals.

“It’s really been a core value at UNC for quite some time.”

UNC is planning for a difficult future, especially the unknown effects of more insured people and a growing population of older people who will need more care.

UNC plans to create a system in which each patient has a “medical home,” or a central doctor and staff that can manage the patient’s total care. That doctor would coordinate care from specialists and a variety of other services.

But getting there, McCall said, means spending more money to upgrade technology.

Finally, UNC is constantly keeping an eye on its employees to make sure their morale is good.

“Having worked very, very hard with patient satisfaction, the key to patient satisfaction is employee satisfaction,” she said. “Employee satisfaction is just very important and it’s something we measure and take into consideration all the time.

“We’re looking for best practices outside the industry,” McCall said. “But I really feel that we’re not the only ones doing that. Everyone in health care looking to the future feels that’s very necessary.””

“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”…Barack Obama

“we leave nobody behind”…Barack Obama

From the Rhino Times, in print in NC, November 21, 2012.

“The most amazing aspect of the tragedy in Benghazi and President Barack Hussein Obama’s response is how well it worked for him. Here he was on 9/11 in the middle of an election caught unprepared by al Qaeda. In a country with known al Qaeda activity the Obama administration had refused to give the US ambassador the security forces he needed, which left him vulnerable on 9/11.

No doubt when the situation was first presented to Obama on the afternoon of 9/11, all they knew was that the consulate was under heavy attack and Ambassador Chris Stevens was thought to be in the safe room of the consulate but was out of contact.

Perhaps Obama bet, that the safe room in the consulate would protect Stevens and other State Department employees and that the terrorists would get tired of banging on a locked door and go away. It’s a little like betting a small fire will burn itself out before it becomes a raging forest fire. It does happen, but most people don’t want to take that chance.

For whatever reason Obama decided to not to risk sending in air support or ground troops. He decided not to send any help and to use “Hope” as his strategy. Hope didn’t work and not only did Stevens die, but Sean Smith died with him at the consulate and two CIA operatives, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, both former Navy Seals, also died in the fighting hours later at the CIA compound.

Obama was in the midst of an election. He could hardly go out and tell the American people that he hoped everything would work out, so he didn’t send troops or security forces of any kind to aid an ambassador under siege at an American consulate. So the White House came up with what seemed to be a plausible lie ñ that this attack, just like the one in Cairo, was the result of a spontaneous protest over a stupid video and it got out of hand. Why you should not send help to a consulate under attack by a spontaneous mob is still a mystery, but the mainstream media bought it and Obama was reelected.

To give the cover story validity Obama sent out UN Ambassador Susan Rice to explain that the attack had been a spontaneous outburst as a result of the video. Rice was perfect for the job for two reasons.

One, as Obama has now said, she had nothing to do with it. She was just a good soldier and went out and said what she was told to say. She had no information on her own. Rice was completely out of the chain of command on this one.

Two, and more importantly, Rice is a black woman, so anyone who criticizes her is by definition racist and sexist. Obama never hesitates to use the race card if it is to his advantage. And his supporters followed through with the accusations of racism and sexism as soon as people were critical of Rice for going on five different shows and telling huge whopping lies on each one.

So Obama and his White House team came up with a story that really doesn’t make any sense and which everyone who knows anything knows is made up. And they found a dupe to sell it to the mainstream media. It helped tremendously that the mainstream media were willing to do everything in their power to get Obama reelected.

The plan worked to perfection because the whole point was simply to push the controversy out past the election. One of the stories that the Obama campaign was trying to sell to the American people was that Osama bin Laden had been killed and the war against terrorism had been won by Obama. That story doesn’t work if al Qaeda attacks and destroys a US consulate, gets in a seven-hour gun battle with personnel at the consulate and at the CIA safe house nearby, and kills four Americans including the American ambassador. The truth makes Obama look weak on fighting terrorism, which of course he is. But it doesn’t matter because it all got pushed past Nov. 6 and now it doesn’t matter what he says. Obama is president for four more years.

Now if Obama wanted to come clean he could go before the American people and says something like, “I made the wrong call. I didn’t want things to escalate just before the election so I was too cautious and I should have sent troops in, or at the very least a fighter jet or an attack helicopter to rescue Chris Stevens and Sean Smith. Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty should not have died because troops should have been there to support them long before they were killed by terrorists.” It wouldn’t matter because people can’t take back their votes.

Obama is president. Mitt Romney had a chance to make Benghazi the issue of the foreign affairs debate and he did not. When he tried to make a point about the Benghazi debacle in an earlier debate Obama was rescued by the moderator who corrected Romney, but was wrong herself. It’s why they call the Republican Party the Stupid Party. They allowed Candy Crowley to moderate the debate even after she said she planned to insert herself into the debate and she did, rescuing the president. But from the comments she made before the debate it was obvious that she was a big Obama supporter, so the Republicans have no one but themselves to blame.

With the help of Crowley and Romney the Obama team pushed Benghazi out past the election, and in politics there is no video review or do-overs. However, cover-ups have not worked out well for presidents.

President Richard Milhous Nixon pushed Watergate out past the election, but it caught up with him and he was forced to resign. For a long time only one newspaper in the entire country was interested in Watergate. It happened to be The Washington Post, with its vast resources, and without The Washington Post the truth about Watergate might never have been known.

President William Jefferson Blythe Clinton pushed the Monica Lewinsky affair out past the election and eventually was impeached for perjury. But look at him now ñ he is the revered elder statesman of the Democratic Party. But if it hadn’t been for Lewinsky’s friend Linda Tripp and Lewinsky’s incredible foresight in hiding the blue dress, the American people would have never known that Clinton had been having an affair with a 21-year-old White House intern.

The key for Obama was not to let the mistake of refusing to provide sufficient security for an embassy under attack by al Qaeda on 9/11 keep him from being reelected and it did not.

Now is the time for some brave American to step forward and tell the truth. It looks like they scared the pants off Gen. David Petraeus and he is not going to be the one to tell the story of what really happened. Petraeus did refuse to go along with the huge lies, but he evidently didn’t break any new ground in his testimony. A former general can hardly testify under oath that he looked at a well-planned and coordinated terrorist attack and thought it was a mob protesting a video. Obama, however, who knows nothing about the military can get away with that and he has.

In the Watergate break-in, which resulted in Nixon resigning, felonies were committed, but no one was injured much less killed. For a president to take advantage of a young White House intern is in no way admirable, but no one was injured or killed during Clinton’s affair with Lewinsky.

In the attack on the consulate in Benghazi, four Americans were killed and any number were injured. The Democrats have no interest in what happened, but the Republicans should insist that an investigation be launched and continued until the American people know exactly how and why those Americans died.

Obama has already told so many lies about what happened and his involvement that nothing he says can be trusted. Originally Obama said that he found out about the attack at night. It was no later than 5 p.m. with the sun still shining brightly in Washington, DC, and there is no way that is night. If he can’t even tell the truth about when he found out about the attack, how can the American people believe anything he says about it?”

2012 election extremely close, Citizen Wells analysis, Congressional races too close to call, Florida must have recount, Low turnout fraud or both help Obama

“Late last night Congressman West maintained a district wide lead of nearly 2000 votes until the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections “recounted” thousands of early ballots. Following that “recount” Congressman West trailed by 2,400 votes. In addition, there were numerous other disturbing irregularities reported at polls across St. Lucie County including the doors to polling places being locked when the polls closed in direct violation of Florida law, thereby preventing the public from witnessing the procedures used to tabulate results. The St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections office clearly ignored proper rules and procedures, and the scene at the Supervisor’s office last night could only be described as complete chaos. Given the hostility and demonstrated incompetence of the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections, we believe it is critical that a full hand recount of the ballots take place in St. Lucie County. We will continue to fight to ensure every vote is counted properly and fairly, and accordingly we will pursue all legal means necessary.”…Allen West campaign

“It’s not who votes that counts, it’s who counts the votes”…Joseph Stalin

The 2012 elections were hardly a mandate for Barack Obama. Even if the elections counts were fair, and I do not believe that they were, the presidential election was closer than most people realize. Here are the results, based on recent counts, by county.

The preponderance of the geographical area of the US went for Romney. Obama dominated in  many large cities and in  areas with large black and hispanic populations. A good example is Cuyahoga County Ohio. Obama won by 420,953 to 184,475 for Romney. Obama won Ohio by 103,481 votes.

To show you just how close this election was at the presidential level, here are 4 states with the vote spreads and electoral votes. In each state, if the number of people shown had voted for Romney instead of Obama or if Obama got the votes instead of Romney due to voter fraud or voting machine irregularities, the result would have been a Romney win.

State            Vote difference   One half         Electoral votes

Florida              73,189                36,595                       29

Virginia           115,910               57,955                       13

Ohio                  103,481               51,741                       18

Nevada               66,379               33,190                        6

Totals                                             179,481                      66

You read it correctly. Approximately 179, 481 votes could have made the difference in the election.

Do I believe that voter fraud occurred. Yes. The question is how much. We know for a fact that there were numerous machine malfunctions, errors in counts and ballots that were not counted. One of my biggest concerns is absentee ballots being processed and counted. I have been looking over NC reports and they do not make sense.

Our biggest chance for rectifying election results is in congressional races such as Allen West in Florida. The latest news indicates he may have to seek remedy in the FL Supreme Court.

Another extremely close race is in NC District 7 between Democrat Mike McIntyre who currently leads Republican  David Rouzer by 655 votes. I have concerns about voting machine problems in that district as well as absentee ballots from soldiers who live in the area. The following comment was placed here on October 24 in response to the article about touch screen voting machines defaulting to Obama:

“Same thing happened to me in fayetteville”

This is not over. The states have certification periods and various remedies for challenging election results. Let’s make sure that we at least keep the congressional races as clean as possible and in a case like Florida, based on all of the issues that have arisen, that the entire state do a recount.

From the SC Office of the Governor Nikki Haley, November 15, 2012.

“Gov. Nikki Haley to Sebelius: S.C. will not set up a state-based health care exchange”

“COLUMBIA, S.C. – Governor Nikki Haley today sent a letter to U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius ahead of tomorrow’s deadline for states to decide if they intend to participate in the health exchange program created by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).

A copy of the governor’s letter to Sec. Sebelius is attached.

In the letter, Gov. Haley informed Sec. Sebelius that South Carolina “should not and will not set up a state-based health care exchange.”

Under PPACA, the governor wrote, “the federal government is required to establish exchanges and gave individual states the choice to participate. Yet, as we worked through the process of analyzing options available to South Carolina, it became abundantly clear that state ‘participation’ was in name only.”

“[T]he law’s state-based exchange programs are not state-based at all. Instead, they simply pass along to the state the burdens of a new and cumbersome bureaucracy,” she continued.

The governor also urged federal officials to provide all states with clear guidance on how state-based, partnership, and federally-facilitated exchanges will work or to delay the implementation deadline.

“The amount of uncertainty in our economy is growing given the lack of information available from the federal government at a time when we can hardly afford it,” the governor wrote.”

Citizen Wells has informed you of skyrocketing college student health care costs   of 200%, 300% and even over 1,000% in NC and rising costs for families tied directly to Obamacare. You are also hearing from business owners like the CEO of Papa Johns who are being forced to make cuts in employees and work hours due to the impact of Obamcare. Now more bad news in NC, which already has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country.

From the Greensboro News Record November 15, 2012.

“Update: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center to cut 950 job”

“Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center will lay off 76 employees this week and cut a total of 950 jobs by the end of next June, the center’s chief executive said today.

Dr. John McConnell said most of the cuts are administrative positions, but some faculty members could lose their jobs due to cuts in federal research funding. He also said 2012-13 revenue is being affected by “deep cuts in Medicare and Medicaid payments, which constitute nearly half of our health-care reimbursements.”

In a statement, the center said the cuts were being made “after a long and careful review of current staffing levels across the organization.”

The center said its restructuring is “designed to position the institution for success aligned with the challenges of health-care reform, federal budget deficits and a decline in research funding from The National Institutes of Health and private industry.
The center said half of the overall job cuts to its Winston-Salem operations would be achieved through eliminating vacant, temporary and contract labor positions, as well as through attrition and employee retirement.

Also among the cuts are 56.5 jobs at the Lexington Medical Center affiliate, of which 52 already are gone through integration of its back office operations, retirements and attrition.

McConnell said the restructuring is “not based on financial difficulty, but is purely preemptive to best position the center going forward. Like most companies, we are getting leaner.

“This represents all of the job reductions based on our current knowledge,” McConnell said, adding that it would be “hard to imagine a section of the hospital not being directly or indirectly affected by the restructuring.”

“This change will not affect nurse-to-patient ratios, the quality of patient care or the pioneering research that is occurring at Wake Forest Baptist each day,” the center said in a statement.

McConnell said the existing nurse-to-patients ratios are “sacrosanct” for the hospital.

The employees whose jobs are being eliminated this week will receive their full pay and benefits through Jan. 4, and after that, their severance benefits will begin.

Michael Walden, an economics professor at N.C. State, said he considers Wake Forest Baptist’s action a “major layoff and a signal of challenges facing many hospitals who are being prompted to increase efficiency.”

“I think this is a bellwether announcement likely to be repeated across the state and nation,” Walden said.”

“It’s not who votes that counts, it’s who counts the votes”…Joseph Stalin

From the Palm Beach Post November 15, 2012.

“Editorial: Recount early votes in Patrick Murphy-Allen West race”

““I’m not perfect,” St. Lucie County Elections Supervisor Gertrude Walker said Tuesday. “Neither is my staff.” Given the events of the past week, it’s hard to disagree. Because of her office’s flawed handling of last week’s election, uncertainty hangs needlessly over Patrick Murphy’s stunning defeat of Rep. Allen West.

Ms. Walker was stating the obvious when she admitted fallibility at a news conference, as reported by TCPalm.com. But when you’re overseeing a congressional election whose margin of victory is less than 1 percent, there isn’t much room for error.

And Ms. Walker has admitted to a big error: double-counting some ballots cast during early voting and ignoring others. After partially recounting some of the early voting results on Sunday, her office discovered that it had double-counted the equivalent of 799 votes in the Murphy-West race and named the wrong winner in Fort Pierce’s mayoral race. The mayor’s race is now undergoing an automatic recount because the margin of victory was less than 0.5 percent. But the U.S. House District 18 race is in a sort of limbo, with Rep. West clamoring in court for all early votes to be recounted and Mr. Murphy calling for him to concede.

So troubling was the county’s performance that the state Division of Elections this week sent officials to inspect the results. A spokesman told TCPalm.com: “We are not aware of any counties experiencing the same issues as St. Lucie.” We endorsed Mr. Murphy, and few things would please us more than to see Rep. West’s two years in Congress fade like a bad dream. But he says he will not concede until St. Lucie County recounts all early votes, and we can see his point.

After Rep. West first raised questions about the handling of St. Lucie’s early vote, Ms. Walker and the county’s canvassing board agreed to recount all 37,000 ballots from the eight-day early voting period. But on Sunday, they changed, deciding instead to recount only about 16,000 ballots cast during the last three days. The reason: The problems that affected the West-Murphy race seemed confined only to those days. Sure enough, her office found problems. The discovery that some ballots were counted twice, and others not at all, narrowed Mr. Murphy’s lead by 535, to 1,907 — a 0.58 percent edge. Only a 0.50 percent margin can trigger an automatic recount.

After admitting such an egregious error, Ms. Walker wants the public to trust her when she says the problems were limited to those last three days of early voting. But she has given voters little reason for confidence. In an abundance of caution, St. Lucie County needs to recount all 37,000 early votes, not just the ones that Ms. Walker believes were problematic.

Although Ms. Walker is claiming in court that she can’t legally do a full recount, state law allows a county to double-check its tally if it thinks that the initial results might contain an error. Had the canvassing board gone ahead and done this Sunday for all the early voting ballots, everything might have been resolved. As it is, more than a week has passed since Election Day, and uncertainty hangs over the District 18 race. Only a full recounting of all early voting ballots can end the doubts that St. Lucie’s botched vote-tallying has raised.”

“Almost 1K ballots found in Broward elections warehouse”

“Nearly a thousand ballots that were not included in Florida’s final count have been found in a warehouse in Broward County.

Tuesday morning and into the night, there was a buzz of activity at the Voting Equipment Center in Lauderhill, a week after the general election. There was a recount going on for two commission seats that were too close to call, one in Hallandale Beach and another in Dania Beach. Workers had to count those votes manually.

Also keeping elections officials busy is the fact that 963 filled ballots were found in a warehouse. The supervisor of elections, Dr. Brenda Snipes, said this happens all the time, especially when dealing with paper ballots. Her department is not the only one to have seen more ballots added to the final number after the election, and they have until Nov. 18 to certify all the votes.

Snipes noted that it is a routine thing to look for these kind of mishaps after election night and she is just glad that they are now being tallied into that final count.

Last Tuesday, close to 800,000 people voted in Broward County, some waited in lines for four to five and sometimes six hours. Many have said the news of these ballots add to their uneasiness about how the election was run. Florida was the last state to officially announce its election results, long after President Obama was officially announced as re-elected.

Snipes said there is no reason for alarm. “I’ve run several elections here, and this election was run no different than any other,” she said. “I think the difference with this election is that there was a close race between the two presidential candidates, and there was pressure put on everyone, including our office, to get all of the votes, count, count, count, so you don’t have an opportunity to check every box that comes back because you got to get what you got in hand and get it out of there, so if the voters would rather that we kind of sit back and relax and then clean up and find ballots. Then I think they would really be very upset.”

She said that further complicating this election was a very long ballot filled with proposed amendments. Snipes has promised that her department will meet their deadline by Sunday.”

“Petraeus agrees to testify on Libya before congressional committees”

“Former CIA Director David Petraeus has agreed to testify about the Libya terror attack before the House and Senate intelligence committees, Fox News has learned.

Petraeus had originally been scheduled to testify this Thursday on the burgeoning controversy over the deadly Sept. 11 attack.

That appearance was scuttled, though, after the director abruptly resigned over an extramarital affair.

Lawmakers, though, complained that the scandal was no reason they shouldn’t hear from the man at the helm of the CIA when CIA operatives came under attack alongside State Department employees in Benghazi last month.

The logistics of Petraeus’ appearance are still being worked out. But a source close to Petraeus said the former four-star general has contacted the CIA, as well as committees in both the House and Senate, to offer his testimony as the former CIA director.

Fox News has learned he is expected to speak off-site to the Senate Intelligence Committee on Friday about his Libya report.

The House side is still being worked out.

Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the Sept. 11 attack, which the administration initially blamed on a “spontaneous” mob reacting to protests over an anti-Islam film. Officials later labeled the attack terrorism.”

His heart sank as he thought of the enormous power arrayed against him, the ease with which any Party intellectual would overthrow him in debate, the subtle arguments which he would not be able to understand, much less answer. And yet he was in the right! They were wrong and he was right. The obvious, the silly, and the true had got to be defended. Truisms are true, hold on to that! From WND November 13, 2012.

“HERE’S HOW TOUCHSCREENS KILLED ROMNEY VOTES”

“A Chicago voting-machine tech is sounding the alarm, claiming he witnessed multiple error messages on the voting touch-screens this election – but only in cases where people voted for Mitt Romney.

Steve Pickrum said he worked for Chicago’s election system during the early voting and Election Day voting for the 2012 race.

As an equipment manager for the system, Pickrum said, he responded whenever there was a glitch with a voting machine.

“On early voting, when I did work on the floor when voters needed help using the equipment, I was able to see the preference of the voter, and every time that I saw [a] voter voted for Romney a ‘voter save failure’ message came up on the screen,’” he reported.

See the Big List of vote fraud reports.

Then when he went on Election Day to cast his own vote, he picked Romney and experienced the same error message.

Pickrum said he worked at both the Matteson voting area as well as in Precinct 70, and although he discussed the anomalies with his boss, had not yet filed a formal report.

He said when he voted, he was told by a precinct worker to just go ahead and assume that his vote had been tabulated, despite the error message. But since he knew the operations of the machines, he asked the poll workers to check the vote report, and they found his vote had not been counted.

He insisted on completing his ballot on another machine, he told WND.

Curiously, he reported he never saw the error message when the voter was choosing Barack Obama.

Stand up to fight against voter fraud right now!

Another poll worker, this one assigned at the University of Michigan, reported a list of irregularities, including that the precinct captain told her at one point, “You go sit down, you are bothering me,” when she was trying to observe the proceedings.

“I was only standing there and looking at voter documents,” she told WND. “It was clear that what bothered him was my very presence.”

She said a short time later a young man arrived and identified himself as a Democrat poll challenger.

“The first time he said anything was to object to my challenge of a voter. He tried to anger the voter by telling her, ‘She does not believe you are who you say you are.’ He was trying to create a scene. It then happened again, and I told him, ‘You are not here to challenge me!’ His reply was a very loud, ‘Yes I am! You are a Republican, and you are here to prevent people from voting. You are holding up the line and creating obstructions,’” she reported.

She told WND, in fact, no one waited more than about 15 minutes to vote the entire day, and there were no obstructions.

The balloting is unofficial until the Electoral College electors designated by each state meet Dec. 17 to cast their ballots.

WND’s newest forum is your opportunity to report voter fraud

Other reports of questionable vote tabulations include:

  • Byron York of the Washington Examiner reports that some 200,000 fewer white voters were recorded in Ohio’s election this year than in 2008. “There are several theories about those missing white voters, but the most plausible is that the ones who were undecideds or weak Republicans were deeply influenced by Obama’s relentless attacks on Romney.”
  • And in Florida, the Sun Sentinel reported that election workers a week after the election said they found 963 unaccounted-for ballots – in a warehouse. “How can you lose them? This is terrible,” candidate Chickie Brandimarte told officials. Election supervisor Brenda Snipes, however, said it’s routine for various vote totals to be adjusted up until the Nov. 18 final certification.
  • Also in Florida, residents began demanding changes in the electoral system that handed voters chaos, frustration and delays at polling stations. The Florida League of Women Voters and other groups are demanding from Gov. Rick Scott a plan to draft reforms for the state’s elections.

WND reported just a day ago about an observer who noted up to 10 percent of the ballots cast at a polling station in Pennsylvania reverted to a default, which gave Barack Obama a vote no matter who the voter had selected.

The poll watcher reported the incident took place in the state where officials claimed Obama got a total of 19,605 votes in 59 voting divisions to zero for Mitt Romney and not far from the 100 precincts in Ohio where Obama got 99 percent of the vote, a feat not even achieved by Third-World dictators, according to Market Daily News.

With evidence mounting that the vote tabulation did not reflect the true choices of voters, talk-radio icon Rush Limbaugh echoed the Daily News, saying Monday: “Third-world, tin-horn dictators don’t get [these percentages]. I mean, the last guy that got this percentage of the vote was Saddam Hussein, and the people that didn’t vote for him got shot. This just doesn’t happen. Even Hugo Chavez [of Venezuela] doesn’t get 100 percent or 99 percent of the vote.”

It was in Upper Macungie Township, near Allentown, Pa., where an auditor, Robert Ashcroft, was dispatched by Republicans to monitor the vote on Election Day. He said the software he observed would “change the selection back to default – to Obama.”

He said that happened in about 5 percent to 10 percent of the votes.

WND’s newest forum is your opportunity to report voter fraud

He said the changes appeared to have been made by a software program.

Ashcroft said the format for computer programming has a default status, and in this case it appeared to be designating a vote for Obama each time it went to default.

He found it suspicious that Romney and Obama were in a virtual tie in most polls, but Obama then suddenly surged ahead by a number of points on election night.

“How the heck does that happen?” he wondered.

He said as a poll watcher, he was not allowed to communicate with officials there, so his concerns were submitted later to the state GOP.

Officials with the Republican Committee in Harrisburg did not respond to a WND request for comment.

WND previously reported Obama’s success was nominal in states where authorities required voter identification, while he was very successful in states that did not require it.

WND also reported prior to Election Day that officials in Virginia were asked to investigate after a video caught the field director for Democratic U.S. Rep. Jim Moran’s campaign in an apparent conspiracy to commit election fraud.

What will Barack Obama do now that he has another four years in office? Find out in Aaron Klein’s “Fool Me Twice,” on sale now at WND’s Superstore

The video sting by James O’Keefe‘s Project Veritas, first reported by WND, prompted the resignation of Patrick Moran, who is also Jim Moran’s son, and a criminal investigation by the Arlington County Police Department in Northern Virginia, near Washington, D.C.

Here’s the blueprint Obama used to steal the 2012 election.

Here’s how touchscreens killed Romney votes

Oct. 16, 2008

No official recount has taken place in the race between Allen West and Patrick Murphy. West is currently down by about 1900 votes, but every time the votes have been counted or processed the numbers change. Clearly there is a problem in his district and apparently in Florida. With all of the documented problems in Florida including known voter fraud and the closeness of the races, it is imperative that the votes throughout Florida be recounted.

Obama currently leads Romney by 73, 189 in FL. An automatic recount is triggered by a difference of less than .5 percent. That is 42,296 votes. With an honest, accurate tally, that threshold could have already been reached.

From American Thinker November 13, 2012.

“Was the 2012 Election Stolen?”

“As the 2012 election approached, conservative enthusiasm grew. Mitt Romney was drawing huge crowds while Barack Obama spoke in half-filled stadiums. All the passion lay on the right while the left was discouraged with a promised messiah who proved merely a politician. And the prediction was that, in contrast to 2008, Republican turnout would dwarf the tuned-out and carry the day. Hence the shock November 6 eve. How could Romney lose, especially by such a wide electoral margin?

Maybe he didn’t

At least not legitimately.

When I predicted Obama’s re-election, I stated that, despite our country’s inexorable leftist slide, Romney would still win on Election Day were it not for vote fraud. I explained that the Democrats could steal more than enough votes in crucial swing states to turn the election. And I still believe what I did then: electoral criminality put Obama over the top.

At the time, we heard stories about electronic-machine “glitches” switching Romney votes to Obama ones. And Patrick Moran, son of Congressman Jim Moran (D-VA), was caught on tape facilitating vote fraud while Bridgeport, CT mayor Bill Finch essentially promised to commit same for a political partner in crime.

Since then, the indications of electoral criminality have been overwhelming. First there are the anecdotes, such as the court-appointed Republican poll watchers illegally expelled from 13 Philadelphia polling places in wards that, in most cases, went 99 percent for Obama; the poll observers who noted what they considered vote fraud but were powerless to stop; and the Democrats who actually bragged about voting more than once.

Then there are the statistics, such as this staggering fact: in 59 Philadelphia districts, Romney failed to get even one vote. Final Obama-Romney tally: 19,605 to 0.

Huh? Not even one person voted GOP accidentally? I mean, there even was a Washington, D.C. councilman who inadvertently voted to approve faux marriage, saying that he didn’t know what he was voting for (that would be Marion Barry).

Next, consider this report from The Columbus Dispatch:

More than one out of every five registered Ohio voters is probably ineligible to vote.

In two counties, the number of registered voters actually exceeds the voting-age population: Northwestern Ohio’s Wood County shows 109 registered voters for every 100 eligible, while in Lawrence County along the Ohio River it’s a mere 104 registered per 100 eligible.

Another 31 counties show registrations at more than 90 percent of those eligible, a rate regarded as unrealistic by most voting experts. The national average is a little more than 70 percent.

[…]Of the Buckeye State’s 7.8 million registered voters, nearly 1.6 million are regarded as “inactive.”

Understand the significance. Years ago I was contacted by a Washington, D.C. community leader (who’ll remain anonymous) who told me that he had “done some computer work for several candidates over the years in DC” and had conducted his own study of urban vote fraud. He said that inner cities’ great transiency ensures that any given large metropolis will have a great number of voters who no longer live in their precinct of registration. These areas also have Democrat operatives known by the get-out-the-vote term “block captains” or “apartment captains,” people who know the lay of the land and thus what registered voters have left town. So all they need do then is vote for these people or have others do so. This is very easy, too, with few voter-ID laws. And this is why Democrats oppose these laws so vehemently.

Now consider that Obama “won” Ohio by 100,000 votes. This means that to flip the state, Democrat surrogates had to illegally “activate” only 6.25 percent of its 1.6 million inactive voters.

Note also that Ohio secretary of state Jon Husted did ask Eric Holder’s DOJ for help negotiating conflicting federal laws pertaining to the purging ineligible voters from the rolls. The DOJ’s ultimate response? “No comment.”

Yet a voter doesn’t even have to be inactive, just disengaged. For example, when the aforementioned Patrick Moran offered advice on surrogate voting, he told an undercover reporter to masquerade as a pollster and call a targeted individual to make sure he wasn’t planning to vote. And this is nothing new. In fact, liberal leg-thriller Chris Matthews himself admitted that it has been going on for years.

Then there is the case of the missing military ballots. As Rachel Alexander at Town Hall reported:

The conservative-leaning military vote has decreased drastically since 2010 due to the so-called Military Voter Protection Act that was enacted into law the year before. It has made it so difficult for overseas military personnel to obtain absentee ballots that in Virginia and Ohio there has been a 70% decrease in requests for ballots since 2008. In Virginia, almost 30,000 fewer overseas military voters requested ballots than in 2008. In Ohio, more than 20,000 fewer overseas military voters requested ballots. This is significant considering Obama won in both states by a little over 100,000 votes.

Frankly, it is inconceivable that military interest in voting could’ve dropped so drastically given conservatives’ passion this election season. The damning conclusion? The Obama machine wants our soldiers to shed blood while it sheds their votes.

Striking as all this is, however, it’s likely just a partial picture. As with all crime, it’s a given that the discovered vote fraudsters represent only a tiny percentage of the total. And what about vote-fraud methods we haven’t even thought of yet? Remember, the Democrats have been honing this act for many, many years.

And vote fraud is Democrat domain. Liberals are the situational-values set, people who for years insisted that right and wrong is relative and that if it feels good, do it. And what feels good to them at election time is stealing votes to win – and they do it. They relish it, in fact. Like the liberal who addressed Bill Clinton’s it-depends-on-what-is-is infidelity and adamantly told me, “He did the right thing,” leftists love the con. To pull a fast one like private eye Jim Rockford, fool everyone, and get away with it is like winning the Nobel Prize in Prevarication in their world. Thus, it’s assured that there’s no small number of liberals who are currently brimming with pride at having negated the votes of countless knuckle-dragging conservatives.

Having said this, we can’t be sure about the exact magnitude of the vote fraud. But my judgment is this:

The election was likely stolen.

And whatever Barack Obama is presently, I don’t believe he will be a legitimate president come January 20.

This is why Congressman Allen West was right not to concede his Florida race. And, frankly, if Romney believes that the election may have been stolen nationally, he should withdraw his concession.

Radical?

Unprecedented?

Yes, but so is vote fraud on the scale perpetrated by Obama’s minions. And people needn’t fear creating a national crisis – we are already in a national crisis. The only question is whether good Americans will stand and be counted or allow 2012 to mark our official descent into banana-republic status.”
