NC primary, PA primary, Obama, Clinton, Citizen Wells endorsement

NC primary voters, PA primary voters, primary voters in other states. I consider myself more of an independent these days. I will be honest with you, I have never been a Hillary Clinton supporter. However, she looks really good compared to Barack Obama. I have thoroughly researched Obama and what I already know scares the hell out of me. Then there is the devil I do not know.

Rather than try to summarize why I have this stance, read my blog. Do as much research as you can elsewhere, but for the sake of this country, for the sake of our children and our children’s children, do not vote for Obama.

I hereby give my endorsement to Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Nomination.

Ayers, William Ayers, Obama, McCain, ABC This Week, PA primary, NC primary

Pennsylvania primary voters. North Carolina primary voters. If you are considering voting for Obama in PA, NC or any other state, you should watch the YouTube video of John McCain talking about William Ayers and Obama. Obama has had a long term friendship with former undergound bomber Ayers and maintained that friendship with Ayers even after the comments Ayers made after 9/11. I found this video on a great blog, The Centrist Voice.

Watch the video of John McCain:

Obama records, Illinois FOIA, Governor Mike Easley, NC governor, lawsuit, NC Public Records Law

The US government has a  Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). States have their own version of the FOIA. Illinois has a FOIA. NC has the NC Public Records Law.

Apparently there are public officials in this country that do not take the FOIA acts seriously or believe they will not be punished. There was an article in the Charlotte Observer on Tuesday April 15, 2008. The Charlotte Observer and nine other NC news organizations have sued Governor Mike Easley over his administration’s deletion of official government emails. This is a violation of NC Public Records Law. Easley is accused of “the systematic deletion, destruction or concealment of email messages sent from or received by the Governor’s Office.” Sound familiar?

Barack Obama has been a licensed attorney in the state of
Illinois since the early nineties and was a associate attorney
with Miner, Barnhill and Galland from 1993 to 2002.

Barack Obama also taught law part-time at the University of Chicago Law School from 1993 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004.

Barack Obama was a member of the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004.

The Illinois Freedom of Information Act
pro-disclosure statute was originally enacted on July 1, 1984.

The following is the position of the state of Illinois as stated
by the Illinois Attorney General:

“It is the public policy of this State that public bodies exist to aid in the conduct of the people’s business and that the people have a right to be informed as to the conduct of their business.”

“Attorney General Lisa Madigan believes that an open, honest and accountable government, the cornerstone of a democracy, can only be achieved through the free and open exchange of information between government and its citizens. Both the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Open Meetings Act (OMA) endeavor to open the workings of government to the public, shed light on government actions and, in the process, strengthen our democracy. Similarly, the newly enacted government ethics laws are intended to increase government accountability. The Office of the Attorney General is committed to ensuring compliance with these laws and increasing awareness by both the public and public officials of their rights and obligations under them.”

Barack Obama has violated the letter of the law
and spirit of the Illinois FOIA.

Obama refused to supply information on one occasion when he
stated:

In a Tribune interview Thursday, the Illinois Democrat said he had no intention of sharing any of the documents he might still have in his possession.”

“The problem is whatever remaining documents I have are inevitably incomplete. And then the questions going to be, where’s this or where’s that. Once I start heading down that road, then it puts me in a position that could end up being misleading. I don’t want to mislead people. I don’t know the extent of the records that I have as a state senator.”

Obama has also either ignored requests for his records or given
evasive answers:

The Chicago Tribune has reported that it “requested documents from his time in Springfield and never received a response.”

In an interview with Tim Russert:

“MR. RUSSERT:  You talked about Senator Clinton having records released from the Clinton Library regarding her experience as first lady, and yet when you were asked about, “What about eight years in the state senate of Illinois,” you said, “I don’t know.” Where, where are the—where are your records?

SEN. OBAMA:  Tim, we did not keep those records.  I…

MR. RUSSERT:  Is your schedule available anywhere?  Are—the records exist?

SEN. OBAMA:  I—Tim, I kept my own schedule.  I didn’t have a scheduler.

MR. RUSSERT:  Senator Durbin, your colleague, publishes his schedule each day.  Would you do that?

SEN. OBAMA:  Well, you know, these days I have a public presidential schedule that I think everybody has access to.”
It is obvious that Barack Obama has violated the Illinois
FOIA Law by his failure to produce records that he has and has
violated the spirit of the law and policies of the State of
Illinois by his cavalier, evasive and irresponsible conduct.

I contacted the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. This is the response that I got:

Dear Mr. Wells,

Thank you for writing to Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan with your questions related to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140. I am responding via electronic mail as that is the form that you have contacted me.

The Illinois Senate is subject to the state Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140. Please be advised that a public body is required to respond to a request for information pursuant to this Act within seven working days. The response must be in writing. In limited circumstances, a public body can invoke an additional seven working days to respond to a request. 5 ILCS 140/3(c). If a public body denies a request for information, it must do so in writing and specifically cite the section of the Act that authorizes a public body to withhold documents. 5 ILCS 140/9(b).  Additionally, the public body must provide the requestor with the name of the individual responsible for the denial and inform the requestor of his or her right to appeal a denial. The response must include the name and address of the head of the public body to whom the denial can be forwarded.

You would address your request to the Clerk of the Illinois Senate, Illinois Capitol, 2nd and Capitol, Springfield, IL 62706.

Respectfully,

Terry Mutchler

Public Access Counselor

Assistant Attorney General

I will keep you informed.

Obama campaign, Adolph Hitler, Nazi germany, Obama change, euphoria, blame others, anti semitic, attacks, bullying, economy

I have been comparing the Obama campaign to pre World War II Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler for many weeks. Of course my claims have been dismissed by Obama supporters and many times I have been personally attacked for asking simple questions about Obama. I am a student of history and have read a great deal about the era leading up to the second world war and also during and after. The more I observe and think about it, the closer the parallels are.

The rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party

The economic conditions in Germany after World War I were horrible.

Adolf Hitler honed his oratory skills and became a superb speaker.

Adolf Hitler surrounded himself with thugs and Jew haters.

Adolf Hitler and the Nazis blamed the Jews for their problems.

Adolf Hitler spoke of change and a new Germany.

The people of Germany got caught up in the euphoria of the changes that Hitler promised.

The Nazis burned books to eradicate records and contrary thoughts.

The Nazis bullied Jews and other segments of society.

The Nazis were elitists with talk of the Arayan Race.

Adolf Hitler had many people fooled including many jews that never thought all of that evil could happen in their country. moinansari reminded me of this important point. Thank You!

The Barack Obama Campaign

The perceived economic conditions are bad. The economic conditions are perfect here compared to post War War I Germany.

Obama worked on his oratory skills. He is a superb speaker with the ability to mesmerize his followers.

Obama has been surrounded by racists, anti semites, criminals and drug users.

Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, and others have blamed white people and Jews for their problems.

Obama constantly speaks of change.

Obama supporters are caught up in the euphoria of the moment and Obama’s promise of change.

Obama has denied having records, not provided records and been extremely evasive when asked to supply records.

Obama supporters have bullied bloggers when questions about Obama or his past are asked. Some of these attacks are clearly orchestrated by the Obama Campaign. Some of these bullies have attacked family members of bloggers.

Obama has recently shown his elitist attitude during his speech in San Francisco. His arrogance parallels Hitler’s Aryan race comments in regard to Obama’s God Like omnipotence in regard to having the answers to problems.

Obama has many people fooled including many Jews that are ignoring all the evil and anti semitism surrounding Obama. Thanks moinansari and God bless you.

The parallels are clear and they are scary!

What is the lesson to be learned?

The German people blindly followed Hitler with his promises of change. Hitler and his cohorts were not scrutinized by enough people. Barack Obama is promising change and many are blindly following in a similar euphoric state. All candidates for the presidency must be questioned and carefully scrutinized.

November 4 1999, Obama records, Obama not in senate November 4, 1999, Russert, Lynn Sweet, Chicago Tribune, truth about Obama

We need to know the truth about Barack Obama. We need to know where Obama was on November 4, 1999. We need to know where Obama was and what he was doing during his term in the Illinois Senate. When I first read the allegations of Larry Sinclair, I was very skeptical. I am still somewhat skeptical. However, I went to the records of the Illinois Senate for November 4, 1999 and Barack Obama was not present. Sinclair alleges that he had 2 encounters with Obama from November 3 to November 8 1999. The first encounter was allegedly in a rented limo and involved drugs and gay sex. This alone was not a red flag for me but when you couple this information with Obama’s known association with criminals, with racists and hate mongers and his failure to provide his records while in the Illinois Senate, there is a legitimate need to get straight answers from Obama.

Here is what we know about Obama:

Obama received campaign contributions from Tony Rezko and was involved in a real estate transaction involving Rezko and his wife.

Obama had a long time association with racist, anti semitic pastor Jeremiah Wright.

Obama has consistently evaded requests for information, lied about not knowing of pastor Wright’s comments and acted in a hypocritical manner such as when he condemned Don Imus in 2007.

Obama has made hypocritical comments about open access to records:

From the democratic presidential debate in Philadelphia on Oct. 30, Obama said to Clinton: “We have just gone through one of the most secretive administrations in our history, and not releasing, I think, these records at the same time, Hillary, as you’re making the claim that this is the basis for your experience, I think, is a problem.”

November 3 2007. The Obama campaign sent out a letter  pressing Clinton to release her White House schedules before the Iowa caucuses.

“Fully releasing these records is in keeping with the spirit of the process that makes the Iowa caucus so special,”

Lynn Sweet, a columnist and the Washington Bureau Chief for the Chicago Sun-Times states:

“Instead, since I have some reporting history here, I am noting a pattern that has emerged: This is Obama’s third ethical conversion of convenience — taking on a higher standard, but only when it appears to be politically expedient. Obama is making government transparency and ethics a centerpiece of his presidential campaign.”

From a Chicago Tribune interview of November 12, 2007:

“The status of any government records Sen. Barack Obama might still have from his time as a state lawmaker in Springfield has come up as he has repeatedly criticized Sen. Hillary Clinton for how slowly records from her husband’s administration have been released.

In a Tribune interview Thursday, the Illinois Democrat said he had no intention of sharing any of the documents he might still have in his possession.”

Next are the questions asked and responses from Obama. I know that many people have read this, but it is worth repeating:

“Q: It is kind of unknown where some of the records from your time in Springfield are located. Where is that stuff, what do you have?

“We had one district director. I had one staff person, so, you know, we didn’t have some elaborate sort of system. I didn’t at my disposal millions of dollars and potentially multiple staff people to conduct an archive. Now keep in mind, it is apples and oranges. First of all, I’m not the one who has made this an issue. We saw during the debate, Senator Clinton was asked about it and the suggestion was somehow they’ve done all they could. And my simple point was, I don’t think there is some smoking gun in these archives or something, or some damning evidence. The only point that I’ve made is that, you know, Senator Clinton continues to base her claim on experience, in part, in substantial part, on her role as first lady, because if her, you know, experience was just based on her tenure as an elected official, it’s thinner than mine. So, I think it’s fair for people to ask, you know, what exactly was she doing, if that’s a substantial claim that she is making. So, I’m not interested in playing a game of gotcha, where I think there is evidence of something. I’m assuming most of this stuff is pretty mundane, you know, stuff. But what we do know is that she was involved in health care. Based on the questions you just asked me, or [New York Times reporter Jeff] Zeleny just asked me today, there’s this sense of, well, yeah, I was in charge of health care, but the fact that it didn’t work out, wasn’t my fault. That, we’ve at least got a public record that she was involved. From that point forward, we really have no idea what she was involved in. And so, you know, what I think, what I think, is not, doesn’t make sense is to say, to able to take credit for whatever Clinton Administration successes that she wants, and then selectively distance herself from any Clinton Administration failures, and not have some sort of public record that allows people to get a sense of that. Now, my sense is that this is information that, if they wanted to accelerate the process, so that it was available before this election, they could get it out there.”

Q: What about your stuff, though? What do you have?

“I have no idea. I mean [muffled on recording]. I really don’t. Again, I did not have at my disposal. I wasn’t preparing for the Obama state senatorial library.”

Q: You must have kept some stuff. Correspondence, calendars?

“The problem is whatever remaining documents I have are inevitably incomplete. And then the questions going to be, where’s this or where’s that. Once I start heading down that road, then it puts me in a position that could end up being misleading. I don’t want to mislead people. I don’t know the extent of the records that I have as a state senator.””

The following is from Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Sun-Times on November 11, 2007:

“On Friday, Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Sun-Times reported that she had asked Obama at a news conference: “Do your state senate papers still exist? If they do, just where are they? And would you ever intend to make them public to be responsive to some requests?”

Sweet wrote that he replied: “Nobody has requested specific documents.”

But the Chicago Tribune has reported that it “requested documents from his time in Springfield and never received a response.”

And Sweet wrote of her own paper, “The Chicago Sun-Times has also been asking about Obama’s papers.””

“RNC spokesman Danny Diaz said of Obama’s reticence on records: “Barack Obama is a rookie senator with few accomplishments. Perhaps he’s reluctant to inform the public about his activities in Springfield because they demonstrate a lack of leadership at a state level as well.””

“An Obama spokesman, Ben LaBolt, last week declined to say where Obama’s records from his years in the Illinois State Senate are located. There is no law mandating the state to archive the records. The records from Obama’s office — if he kept them — would potentially show appointments with lobbyists, policy memos, meetings, etc.”

“Obama’s campaign has refused to identify the biggest bundlers, people who are raising at least $200,000 for him and are given membership in his National Finance Council. Obama, as all major candidates, declines most of the time to disclose details about most fund-raising events.”

“Sometimes Obama has come late to the game. He did not stop taking rides on subsidized corporate jets until the week he was tapped to be the Democrats’ chief spokesman on ethics in January 2006. In 2005, Obama took 23 such private aircraft flights, some to attend fund-raisers he headlined. In 2006, Obama led the fight to ban lawmakers from taking cut-rate private air travel.”

“Obama has supported more earmark disclosure to bolster government transparency. Last June, Obama disclosed the earmarks he requested for Illinois and national interests. However, his office, after repeated requests since June, has yet to disclose earmarks Obama sought in 2006, before he was running for president.”

Tim Russert interviewed Barack Obama on November 11, 2007. During part of the interview Russert asked Obama about supplying records. Here is that segment:

MR. RUSSERT:  Are they gone?

SEN. OBAMA:  Well, let’s be clear.  In the state senate, every single piece of information, every document related to state government was kept by the state of Illinois and has been disclosed and is available and has been gone through with a fine-toothed comb by news outlets in Illinois.  The, the stuff that I did not keep has to do with, for example, my schedule.  I didn’t have a schedule.  I was a state senator.  I wasn’t intending to have the Barack Obama State Senate Library.  I didn’t have 50 or 500 people to, to help me archive these issues.  So…

MR. RUSSERT:  But your meetings with lobbyists and so forth, there’s no record of that?

SEN. OBAMA:  I did not have a scheduler, but, as I said, every document related to my interactions with government is available right now.  And, as I said, news outlets have already looked at them.

Obama said, “I didn’t have a schedule.” What kind of evasive answer is that? Everyone has a schedule.

Larry Sinclair’s allegation means almost nothing in a vacuum. However, when you look at the big picture, the picture that appears from all of the puzzle pieces, a scary picture emerges. Barack Obama is running for President of the United States. He has to be held to a high standard. It is time for some answers and information.

Obama must provide records.

Where was Obama on November 4, 1999?

Barack Obama, The View, ABC, April 11 2007, MSM, main stream media, Imus fired comment, hypocrisy

On March 27, 2008 I posted an article about Barack Obama’s response on April 11, 2007 to the Don Imus comment, “nappy headed hos.” Obama called for Imus to be fired and made the following comment:
“And the notion that somehow it’s cute or amusing, or a useful diversion, I think, is something that all of us have to recognize is just not the case. We all have First Amendment rights. And I am a constitutional lawyer and strongly believe in free speech, but as a culture, we really have to do some soul-searching to think about what kind of toxic information are we feeding our kids,”

This reaction by Obama came almost a year before he was forced by political circumstances to denounce the racist, hate filled comments by Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s long time minister and mentor. I was surprised to find out that The View on ABC on March 28, 2008 had Obama on the show and actually asked him about his comments regarding Don Imus in 2007 and his lack of response to Jeremiah Wright then. That is the good news. The bad news always seems to be the same. Obama did not answer the question. He went on a long soliloquy and spoke in generalties. Obama was never pressed to answer the question. I was pleased that the questions were posed, but it came across as a setup to make it appear he had addressed the issues. Here is a video of the segment where Obama was asked the questions:

http://abstractionreaction.com/2008/03/30/obama-confirms-rumored-affair-with-sherri-shepherd/

One of the Jeremiah Wright quotes referred to on the show is the following:

“The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people,” he said in a 2003 sermon. “God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.”

Obama responded:

“I never heard him say some of the things that have people upset,”

“I’m not vetting my pastor,”  “I didn’t have a research team during the course of 20 years to go pull every sermon he’s given and see if there’s something offensive that he’s said.”

An article on ABC about the show can be viewed here:

Barack Obama, human race, Americans, Nazi Germany, why I research, love the sinner, hate the sin

I knew little of Barack Obama a few months ago. As the 2008 primaries progressed and Obama increasingly became a presidential candidate choice, I began to hear more about his past and his past became a very important concern.

I am a member of the human race and an American citizen. When I research Obama’s past, I do it not as a so called white person (there are no white and black people), but as a concerned American citizen. Anyone running for president must be carefully scrutinized. All the history and facts regarding a presidential candidate need to be evaluated in terms of what is good for the country and all citizens.

Fellow citizens, let’s stick with the facts. When most people delve into the past of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain, they are doing so because they care. Challenging statements made by Obama or his past associations does not make one racist. No one should vote for someone because they are “black” or because they are “white”.

I have listened to statements made by pastor Jeremiah Wright and by pastor James Manning. Jeremiah Wright is wrong when he spews racist, anti semitic hate filled messages. James Manning is wrong when he uses derogatory terms for Obama. When criticizing a candidate, we should stick with the facts and not hate the person but just their sins. What any other pastor or person has said or done is irrelevant to what has been said by these two pastors. Each person is accountable for their own actions. We need more accountability in this country.

The 2008 presidential election is too important to trivialize. We should all try to pick the best person irrespective of race and gender. Character does matter. Whom one has associated with in the past matters. We are all products of our environments. All of the candidates are accountable for their own individual actions and associations.

The more I have examined Barack Obama the more concerned I am. Many red flags have been raised that have prompted me to do many hours of research. When I have posted, I have indicated facts as facts and allegations as allegations. When I first heard the Larry Sinclair allegations I was skeptical. I began researching and found out that Obama was not present on November 4, 1999 in the Illinois Senate. This was the first session after the summer break and Obama had his name on two bills mentioned. Larry Sinclair gave a range of November 3 – 8 for his alleged encounter with Obama. If Barack Obama has proof of his whereabouts during this time, I would love to see it and will post it. This still concerns me. There are many more facts and allegations about Obama that concern me. I hope that the allegations are wrong.

I soon will post the information I have collected about Barack Obama. I just wanted to say where I am coming from. I am a student of history and am fairly well read. Much of what I am witnessing about Barack Obama reminds me of the period between World War I and World War II in Germany. People were ready for change. Unlike here, conditions were really bad. Adolf Hitler began speaking about his vision for Germany. He also spewed racist, hate messages and blamed the jews for all of their ills. Obama speaks of change and many of those around him spew the racist, hate filled messages. This is too much deja vu for me.

I wrote this at 3:30 AM EST. I awoke and had to say this. God bless us all and this country.

Robert Johnson, Obama comments, January 2008, something in the neighborhood, said it in his book, drug use, Clintons, black issues

I have revisited the comment made by BET founder and Hillary Clinton supporter, Robert Johnson. Johnson made the comment at a campaign rally in Columbia, South Carolina in January 2008. The apparent reference in the comment was drug use by Obama (mentioned in Obama’s book) and the inference that Obama may still be doing something in the neighborhood. Below are the quote by Robert Johnson, his apology and explanation and a rebuttal by Obama spokesman Bill Burton:
“I am frankly insulted,” Johnson declared, “that the Obama campaign would imply that we are so stupid that we would think Hillary and Bill Clinton, who have been deeply and emotionally involved in black issues since Barack Obama was doing something in the neighborhood - and I won’t say what he was doing, but he said it in the book - when they have been involved.”

Robert Johnson’s apology:
“My comments today were referring to Barack Obama’s time spent as a community organizer, and nothing else. Any other suggestion is simply irresponsible and incorrect,”

Obama spokesman Bill Burton:

“His tortured explanation doesn’t hold up against his original statement. And it’s troubling that neither the campaign nor Senator Clinton — who was there as the remark was made – is willing to condemn it as they did when another prominent supporter recently said a similar thing.”

I did not give Johnson’s comment much thought when I first heard it. Now, with all the other pieces of the puzzle forming a disturbing picture of the real Obama, Johnson’s comment has more significance for me. What has been going on in the neighborhood?

Barack Obama, First Amendment Rights, free speech, ABC News, April 11 2007, toxic information, feeding our kids, Jeremiah Wright

This quote by Barack Obama is worth highlighting. Obama made this statement in response to Don Imus making the remark, “nappy headed hos.” Obama’s response to Don Imus was reported by ABC News on April 11, 2007. Read Obama’s statement carefully. Compare what Don Imus said one time to the hate filled, anti semitic statements made by Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan over many years.

Obama Breaking News, smoking gun, Obama hypocrite, Obama lies, Jeremiah Wright and Don Imus

Another smoking gun concerning Barack Obama and his lies and hypocrisy. How did I miss this one. It is documented by ABC news by Jake Tapper April 11, 2007. We know that Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s pastor and mentor for 20 years is a racist, anti semite and fomentor of inflammatory hate filled messages. Obama chose to associate with Jeremiah Wright for 20 years. Obama chose to attend the same church as Louis Farrakhan, an even more racist,  and anti semite. Compare the “nappy headed ho” comment of Don Imus that got him fired last year. Now, Don Imus was certainly wrong to say what he said. But compare that to what Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan have consistently said over many years. Read the following quotes from Barack Obama as recorded by ABC news April 11, 2007:

“I understand MSNBC has suspended Mr. Imus, but I would also say that there’s nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group. And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude.”

“He didn’t just cross the line. He fed into some of the worst stereotypes that my two young daughters are having to deal with today in America. The notions that as young African-American women — who I hope will be athletes — that that somehow makes them less beautiful or less important. It was a degrading comment. It’s one that I’m not interested in supporting.”

“What we’ve been seeing around this country is this constant ratcheting up of a coarsening of the culture that all of have to think about,”

“Insults, humor that degrades women, humor that is based in racism and racial stereotypes isn’t fun,”

The last paragraph says it all. Still think that Barack Obama is not a hypocrite? Still think that Barack Obama is not a liar? Still think that Jeremiah Wright is not a problem?
