Obama campaign, Adolph Hitler, Nazi germany, Obama change, euphoria, blame others, anti semitic, attacks, bullying, economy

I have been comparing the Obama campaign to pre World War II Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler for many weeks. Of course my claims have been dismissed by Obama supporters and many times I have been personally attacked for asking simple questions about Obama. I am a student of history and have read a great deal about the era leading up to the second world war and also during and after. The more I observe and think about it, the closer the parallels are.

The rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party

The economic conditions in Germany after World War I were horrible.

Adolf Hitler honed his oratory skills and became a superb speaker.

Adolf Hitler surrounded himself with thugs and Jew haters.

Adolf Hitler and the Nazis blamed the Jews for their problems.

Adolf Hitler spoke of change and a new Germany.

The people of Germany got caught up in the euphoria of the changes that Hitler promised.

The Nazis burned books to eradicate records and contrary thoughts.

The Nazis bullied Jews and other segments of society.

The Nazis were elitists with talk of the Arayan Race.

Adolf Hitler had many people fooled including many jews that never thought all of that evil could happen in their country. moinansari reminded me of this important point. Thank You!

The Barack Obama Campaign

The perceived economic conditions are bad. The economic conditions are perfect here compared to post War War I Germany.

Obama worked on his oratory skills. He is a superb speaker with the ability to mesmerize his followers.

Obama has been surrounded by racists, anti semites, criminals and drug users.

Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, and others have blamed white people and Jews for their problems.

Obama constantly speaks of change.

Obama supporters are caught up in the euphoria of the moment and Obama’s promise of change.

Obama has denied having records, not provided records and been extremely evasive when asked to supply records.

Obama supporters have bullied bloggers when questions about Obama or his past are asked. Some of these attacks are clearly orchestrated by the Obama Campaign. Some of these bullies have attacked family members of bloggers.

Obama has recently shown his elitist attitude during his speech in San Francisco. His arrogance parallels Hitler’s Aryan race comments in regard to Obama’s God Like omnipotence in regard to having the answers to problems.

Obama has many people fooled including many Jews that are ignoring all the evil and anti semitism surrounding Obama. Thanks moinansari and God bless you.

The parallels are clear and they are scary!

What is the lesson to be learned?

The German people blindly followed Hitler with his promises of change. Hitler and his cohorts were not scrutinized by enough people. Barack Obama is promising change and many are blindly following in a similar euphoric state. All candidates for the presidency must be questioned and carefully scrutinized.

  1. Great blog…but what a bunch of baloney

Hitler was white. Obama is black…that takes the steam out of your naiz comparision!

Jew haters? AIPAC is one of Obamamas biggest supporters.

    God Bless you

  2. Son of Bill Brasky

no comments because nobody can read this garbage.

  3. citizenwells

    moinansari.
What does skin color have to do with evil, deceit,
being a smooth talking devil, etc.?
The argument has plenty of steam and it is
    full steam ahead.

  4. citizenwells

    Son of Bill Brasky .
Thanks for helping to make the argument.

  5. citizenwells

    moinansari.
Thank you for reminding me of one of the larger
    points I should have made.
Adolf Hitler had many people fooled including
many jews that never thought all of that evil
    could happen in their country

  6. SM KOVALINSKY

You need to clarify what you are trying to say with your first point under the Obama section . It should read: The perceived economic situation parallels that of post WWI Germany. The way you have written it, it is saying that our situation could be called perfect when comparing it to theirs. Edit! Other than that, you may have a point. As they say, history does NOT repeat itself; but sometimes it rhymes. I like him, though; and even if he has some parallels to Nazism, so did W.

  7. SM KOVALINSKY

Another point: One blog has a picture of Barack next to one of Benito Mussollini. The facial expression and tilt of the head are mirror images of each other. Does not scare me, though.

  8. citizenwells

Our economic situation is perfect compared to theirs.
Thank you for the respectful way that you differed in opinion.

  9. SM KOVALINSKY

Citizen Wells; Of course you are historically correct; our economic situation is far from perfect, but compared to theirs it could seem so. My humblest apologies for my short-tempered rudeness on your fine post. I think what confused me is that I thought you were trying to prove the parallels. As our economic situation is not so bad, Obama does not have the opening that Hitler did. Most historians believe that without the wretched economic conditions, Hitler would not have been able to pull off the “coup” that he did. In your opinion, doesn’t this negate Obama’s parallel to Hitler, by which I mean their respective positioning for a “revolution”. And insofar as our conditions are not conducive to this sort of sweeping mania?

  10. citizenwells

A strong argument could be made that Hitler would not have taken over the hearts and souls of the German People if the economic conditions had been more stable. Their economy was out of control and they were looking for a saviour and anyone to blame. The long tradition of anti semitism in Europe provided the perfect scapegoat.
I appreciate your response but you have no need to apologize. I expect challenges and want
people to think about what is going on. You have
responded in an intelligent and civil manner.
I am focusing on Obama because I and we knew the least about him and I have read and found a lot of disturbing facts and believable allegations.

  11. citizenwells

I don’t believe necessarily that Hitler or Obama set out to begin a “revolution”. They both believed that they had the answers to change for the better (in their minds). Hitler had the best of intentions for the German people in his twisted thought process. The German people did not question Hitler and Obama is not being questioned enough.

  12. SM KOVALINSKY

I think your analysis is correct, and your thinking is sound. Despite the fact that I myself am strongly predisposed to like Obama, I would wager that he is not all that he appears to be. Or perhaps I should state it thusly: There may be far more to him than meets the eye of the public. Your last sentence is the crux of the matter. Again, thank you for a fine and thorough analysis.

  13. citizenwells

He comes across as a very likeable person.
I hope that the allegations against him are false.
    He has a real problem.
He has associated consistently with the wrong type of people. At the very least, this shows poor judgement.
On the other side, he either claims to have no records or gives evasive responses when asked.
He has the worst scenarios on both sides.

  14. SM KOVALINSKY

I wanted to add, after viewing footage of Obama at a N.C. rally the day after the Phil. debates, that there is a dawning sense for me, muted but persistent, that there may in fact be something approaching dangerous in the character of Barack Obama. While I took the blog comments re his “giving the finger” to Clinton with a grain of salt, I did notice a certain mania to him which had previously escaped me. An electric charisma that had something of juvenile arrogance in it. In light of your above post, the pieces would appear to be falling into place and forming a clearer picture. Grist for the mill of thought, so to speak. But well worth pondering. . .

  15. citizenwells

The picture puzzle is coming into focus for me and many others. We knew the least about Obama of the 3 remaining candidates. If for no other reason than that, he should get scrutiny.

  16. Sally Holmes

Take a look at these posters sold online at the Obama store. Alarming.

From the link: “But until very recently, the major media were content to allow his chosen narrative of centrism and unity to prevail. No messy qualms about actual policies disturbed the aesthetic of hope and optimism and unity.”

Centrism, I don’t think so. Extremism, uh-huh. What’s next: His own Leni Riefenstahl? Look:

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/04/the_obama_aesthetic.html

  17. Citizen,
My boyfriend is a German citizen, and after watching a few of Obama’s speeches, and reading quite aggressive comments by his supporters, my boyfriend looked a bit terrified and said, “That sounds familiar…” Yes, indeed it does. And I think your analysis is spot on.

  18. Sally Holmes

citizenwells – There is another similarity between Obama and Hitler. Their campaigns have especially targeted young people.

  19. Sally Holmes

I have seen Leni Riefenstahl’s Hitler propaganda film “Triumph of the Will” (for a long ago film class in college). I’ve been looking at Wikipedia about it.

“[Triumph of the Will is] the supreme visualisation in cinematic form of the Nazi political religion. Its artistry, reinforced by the grandeur and power of the Nuremberg decor, is designed to sweep us into empathetic identification with Hitler as a kind of human deity…

Religion is a major theme in Triumph. The film opens with a Point Of View coming godlike out of the skies to alight on twin cathedral spires. It contains many scenes of church bells ringing, and individuals in a state of near-religious fervor,…

Hitler himself is portrayed in a messianic manner, from the opening where he descends from the clouds, to his drive through Nuremberg where even a cat stops what it is doing to watch him, to the many scenes where — standing on his podium — he will issue a command to hundreds of thousands of followers and the audience will comply in unison. Frank Tomasulo comments that in Triumph, “Hitler is cast as a veritable German Messiah who will save the nation, if only the citizenry will put its destiny in his hands.”

Compare: Obama the Messiah, the only one who can save us, called the One by Oprah, the ecstatic, adulatory crowds at his speeches, the swooning.

  20. citizenwells

    Excellent.
    Thank you.
I have heard Obama referred to as saviour many
    times.

  21. NURSERATCHET

I WEPT WHEN I READ THIS. http://obamamessiah.blogspot.com:80/ IS HE THE FALSE PROPHET? THIS IS THE SCARIEST MAN SINCE ADOLF HITLER!

  22. citizenwells

    NURSERATCHET.
    As I continue to say,
The devil I know and the devil I don’t
know scare the hell out of me.

  23. Citizen have you been to Sinclair’s blog today?
    Nurse?

  24. goronsubbewakoofhain

He is now all things to all people .
To Christians He is the Second Coming of the Messiah. To Muslims the Mahdi. To Buddhists the third pillar of the glittering edifice of Trinity – that towers over the Eightfold Way. To Atheists the clearest proof yet, that God no longer exists : He became Him.

But it is the Agnostics who’ve had every creed of theirs smashed to shards . No longer is God unknowable – in fact He walks among us to the frenzied adulation of His vast multitudes.

  25. The paralells between Hitler and Obama scares me too… especially when you consider Obama’s long list of strange friends, muslims, terrorists, communists , black liberation theology, etc. etdc. etc..,…I would say he has been groomed for this part by his circle of friends….He has learned hate and anti american and anti white and anti christian rhetoric both from his church and from his friends..Bad days ahead for USA and the world..

  26. Hitler thought he was the messiah come to save Germany..Obama thinks likewise.. If that isnt enough to scare you, what will, an american holocaust???? The muslims have promised that to America for 6 years..They have not kept this a secret. They plan to own America one way or another..It would be wise to learn what the word taqiyya means and wake up

  27. ruth, taqiyya, exactly.

  28. CALIFORNIAMARTY

Obama and Hitler…the parallel is obvious to all who understand what happened in Germany in the early thirties. Only the mesmerized dupes do not get the analogy. Ayers, Farrahkan, Wright, Said, Rezko and so many others make Obama a dangerous stealth candidate whose ties to Islam through all family members is frightening.

  29. You have said exactly what I have been thinking. I could NOT agree with you more! And some of the comments here are also right on with my own observations and thoughts.

  30. You are right! I lived in Germany. People today can’t talk about that era. Fear. Change was a big issue in Germany in the 1920’s. Hitler spoke of change often. For those that dismiss History be careful. Just because Hitler talked about change does not mean Obama is not as powerful a messenger where the lesson is that you follow someone off a cliff just because….

    History is important.

    Deiter (Bavaria)

  31. Sally Holmes

    Citizenwells –

Here’s another Hitler-like Obama similarity to add to the collection:

    From Roger L. Simon’s blog:

“A large number appear to regard Obama as a demi-god and his campaign is clearly reveling in it. They are floating the idea of changing the venue of his acceptance speech from Denver’s Pepsi Center to the much larger outdoor Invesco Field. I’m not going to indulge in the obvious comparisons. But I am disturbed by this development. 76,000 people blindly screaming “Yes, we can!” in a giant stadium is not an image I relish seeing in a free society.”

    http://pajamasmedia.com/rogerlsimon/

  32. excellent .. i’ve been researching obama, islam and jihad for months .. and have posted it here .. there may be resources here you may not have found .. check it out:

    http://make-informed-decisions.blogspot.com/

  33. I have never forgotten this post since reading it nearly 4 months ago, and it comes to mind often. I am a huge Obama supporter, and campaign for him and have donated to him. Paradoxically, I have my doubts, and they are serious ones. It comes through in his oratory, a certain quasi-manic tone, which is disturbing. Also, some of the posters which depict him with “Hope”, “Change”, “Progress” have a certain eerie look which reminds of the 1940s. An order arising, of dubious quality. Very hard to pinpoint.

  34. Obama is trying to squelch freedom of speech. Twice he tried to have a show on WGN radio sut down because of the topic to do with him and Bill Ayers.

He has threaten to “punish” radio and TV if they aired certain campaign ads

His supporters have threaten Hillary delegates

He has tried to disarm IL

He wants a “civilian militia ” stronger then our armed forces. Brown shirts?

He wants to turn our country into a socialist country.

He speaks great words that have no substance.

He says one thing in public and another in private.

A reporter once exclaimed, gushing, “He touched me!!”

The media hides things from Obama from the rest of us.

His supporters have threaten the life of a reporter who broke the story over Obama trying to stall troop withdrawals

Obama told his supporters to “Get into their face” to the people who disagree.

Sure looks like a Hitler rising to power to me

  35. There are parallels between Barack Hussein Obama and a number of dictators. Read the July 7th cautionary letter-to-the-editor from a Cuban-American who escaped Fidel Castro’s regime in The Richmond Times-Dispatch at http://www.inrich.com/cva/ric/search.apx.-content-articles-RTD-2008-07-07-0033.html .
It reflects exactly what I am hearing from some of my Cuban-American friends. They are terrified of Obama.

  36. Name the last political party to have run with a symbol as a major part of its campaign? Does Hitler ring a bell? Look at Obama’s symbol, it takes a flag and removes the blue and the stars. We are incubating the next wave of radical anti-semitism. Our market troubles will be eventually blamed on the Jews running the treasury, Greenspan and then Bernanke.

  37. republican = nazi

I agree with the author’s assessment except for 2 words: Replace Barack Obama with George Bush and Sarah Palin. Otherwise, very well written … not.

  38. republican = nazi

I dare you to leave my post up. As with most of your ilk, you’re great at shouting lies and filtering questions, but you’re cowards in actuality, hiding behind the digital anonymity of your blog. Since you have no substance, you’re forced to resort to trashy rumor mongering.

  39. citizenwells

You are great at pontificating generalties, the standard Obama camp lines.
    Do you have any specifics?
This blog is about the truth/facts.
If you have any information to repudiate anything written here, please supply it.

  40. citizenwells

PS-I assure you I am no coward in regard to exposing Obama for the fraud and liar that he is.

  41. Just Some Guy

Obama wants to negotiate with terrorists (Iran).

History Time: Smooth talking Neville Chamberlain was the Prime Minister for Britain before Winston Churchill. Chamberlain signed the “Munich Agreement” on September 29, 1939 with Hitler. On September 30th he gave is infamous “Peace for Our Time” speech. By May 20th 1940, Germany was at the English Channel. Chamberlain had resigned 10 days earlier and luckily for Britain, and the world, Winston Churchill took over.

Fast forward to today and we see a smooth talker (Obama) that wants to negotiate with a country that wants to wipe Jews off the face of the planet.

Just remember, “Those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it” – George Santayana in “Reason in Common Sense” (Vol 1 of his “The Life of Reason”).

  42. citizenwells

    Thanks for the reminder.
Not only is Obama a smooth talker and tells people what they want to hear, the Obama camp resembles the Nazis in many ways.
The young people singing Obama’s praise recently was an eerie reminder.

  43. What a great comparison. I was just thinking about this today and how similar B.O. is to Adolf. I could tell, during his acceptance speech he was full of crap, but he was still able to have everyone on the edge of their seat listening to how perfect he said his words. Great orator, but God help us all if this man moves in to 1600.

    McCain / Palin 2008!!

  44. Thank you for this article! Is there some way that you could get your article as “link” on Drudge?”

I am a 57 year old Jewish woman and Obama and his followers are frightening. My husband and I
just visited the Holocaust Museum in D.C. and
learned about the rise of Hitler and the conditions that opened the way to his reign of terror. The World At War Series DVDS narrated by Laurence Olivier is a must see for all. Two episodes address the rise of Hitler and the Nazi Party. It was VERY insidious in the beginning.

There are far too many parallels such as our floundering economy and the idolization of Obama. Many Obama supportors are like sheeple and they DO NOT
know past history. We are SO vulnerable now
to the rise of a tyrant. Yes, our constitution
created the three branches of government, but even now the three branches’ responsibilities are
becoming more blurred. They are beginning
to congeal into ONE ENTITY!!!!! Be afraid
    people, VERY afraid.

Check your facts before voting. DO NOT ignore
Obama’s long history and background of associating with radicals and domestic terrorists. It matters!!!! There will be no real
checks and balances if he ascends. The few
moderate democrats and republicans that remain will not
be able to restrain any evil that ensues.

  45. Thank you for your comment.
I have read extensively about Nazi Germany.
The more I learned of the Obama camp, the more concerned I became.
    Regarding the Drudge report.
It will carry more weight if you and others you contact ask Drudge to add it.
Perhaps calling in to Rush Limbaugh would help also.
    God bless.

  46. concernedAmerican

WOW….unbelievable I thought I was the only one that feared BO becoming the next Hitler regime. Lets not forget US citizens being verbally attacked by LIBERALS for asking questions of concern. BO is such a BS’er sorry I will never understand why all these BO followers absolutely brainwashed (or maybe they are just brainless) Lets not forget Jim Jones took all his followers with him. How about Waco? Oh & of course the infamous Manson & his “family” Nope I don’t want to elect a person that is known for associating himselft w/radicals for more than 20 years. I don’t want to live in a communistic, socialistic country. I live in the USA not a communist country run by a dictator.
    McCain/Palin 08

  47. I’ve been thinking about this too, and I’ve blogged it. But as a german with a lot of knowledge about the World War II history and as someone who grew up in the country I have to tell you, it’s one thing to compare people not questioning enough, that’s always scary, comparing what people do for power, or comparing Hitler to Obama, and the Democrats to the Nazis. I agree, a lot of people don’t care enough and don’t know enough about freedom of speech and backround information, but it takes much more to be an upcoming Nazi.
    http://paulasmuniverse.wordpress.com/2008/10/30/the-obama-hitler-comparison/

  48. Marieke.
Depending on your age, I probably know more about Nazi Germany than you.
For what it is worth,I have German ancestry.
Also, depending on your proficiency with English and comprehension skills, you may or may not have discerned my comparison of the Obama camp (not just Obama) to Nazi germany.
The Obama camp includes much long time anti semitism.
It also includes pesonal attacks, death threats, scrubbing of information from the internet, revisionist history, brainwashing the young, humiliating the elderly and associations with thugs and terrorists as well as the mesmerizing speeches of change.
    Any questions?

  49. Citizenwells,
I am of German descent and my wife is German and a medical professional. She watched his Victory Column speech and his ascent very carefully. She’s convinced he’s sociopathic, which may be another point you wish to mention. I’ve been watching the Dems and their supporters partying like it’s Germany 1933. One major difference between this country and Germany, however. We’re armed. Well armed. And it’s our DUTY to defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. You may also notice that both Obama and Pelosi are desperately trying to lower expectations since they sold the American people a widget that they could never ever possibly deliver. Now the promises unravel.

Any chance of Israel taking Iran into their own hands while Bush is still in office??

Obamas next step is the ‘national emergency’ (think burning of the Reichstag / Biden’s comments) that requires Obama to declare martial law (using FEMA/DHS?) and possibly start dissolving checks and balances. We’ll see. Thanks for a great article and site. – Zlow

  50. I have German ancestors as well.
    Thanks for the insights.

  51. Israel…good question.
    It would not surprise me.

  52. YES WE CAN! YES WE CAN! YES WE CAN!
SIEG HEIL! SIEG HEIL! SIEG HEIL!
    Translation: Hail to Victory
Headlines monday should have read hypnotized populace elects man promising free stuff (healthcare, wellfare, etc.).
Little did they know nothing in this world is free…

  53. @citizenwells: I’m 29, I grew up in Germany with Grandparents who had excellent memory, and a school system where they teach the history of Germany, critical and very careful and exact, we can’t risk mistakes, in every grade you possibly can have in school. They educate.
I agree that we have differen knowledge, though I believe I’m able to keep up:), as I grew up in this country, where the history is still very present. And I read approx. one book a week since I’m 8 year old (not, only, about the German history, of course:)
I read a lot on all that in the past days. I criticize Obama a lot, but to call him or his supporter […] Nazi-like, I only simplify to shorten, I got the sense, is too exaggerated for me, too simplifyed. He might be dangerous in some ways, but then more in the Bush sense than in the Nazi sense, as in, dangerous crazy politician, not mass-murderer of millions and millions of people based on race or ideology, and I doubt that Obama’s plan is to murder millions and millions of people (I don’t count the middle east, not because the people there are not worth it, but because I’m talking organized massmurder of millions and millions here). That was Hitlers plan from beginning on, he built ‘factories’ for that, and I doubt that Obama has such a plan. And that would be needed to justify the Nazy theory, as this is a huge part of what the Nazis stood for, together with erasing, literally, liberals, homosexuals, mentally deprieved, blacks, Jews, of course, artists, and many more.

I hear people about FISA and Patriot. And THAT scares the shit out of me, too. But my thanks go to the Bush admninistration for that much more, but not entirely, than to Obama, though I don’t think it gets better. I posted about that, and what my immigration lawyer told me about me immigrating and posting about the system under “welcome to 1984”
I think you have to be extremely careful when talking about this, since it is a huge and very very complex issue, and it requires a lot of knowledge (international knowledge, not only american. I read books in english, french and german, trying always to get each book in it’s original, non translated version, and stumble over so many mishaps in american books about the WWII history (I’m not saying, in ALL books). I don’t want to argue that you, Citizenwells, have enough knowledge, but I do argue that many other americans who make this comparison have that too.
Posting SIEG HEIL! SIEG HEIL! SIEG HEIL! and translating it with simply Hail to Victory is simply BS (sorry, tired). The phrase SIEG HEIL is the phrase that stands for all what happened during the Nazi regime, and is prohibited because of that in Germany. We don’t hush up about the history, but we learn outmost respect for it, even though some people still tend to forget that. And even when I see this phrase here in a forum or post or comment, it makes me observe very carefully and kind of hesitant in general. Dangerous ignorance @ CONCERNED. People maybe were crying in the first place because this is a HUGE step for African Americans, shallow or not. If you’re now afraid they gas you, I hide you under my bed.
“[…]Headlines monday should have read hypnotized populace elects man promising free stuff (healthcare, wellfare, etc.).[…] agree with that, funny even, but naming that together with symbols of the SS regime? Hm.

@ZLOW: I’m a licenced psychologist, with a major in behavioral science. When your wife is a medical professional, she should know as something you learn first semester, that you can’t be convinced that someone is sociopathic, before you not met this person in person, haven’t seen him in a relaxed state, and talked to and examined him. Sorry, I’m just annoyed about the constant thought of people that they would be able to diognose someone (Obama) better from afar, than any expert from close. I guess your wife is professional enough to just tell you that, and you’re now the one who puts it out there:) Hopefully.

I agree to the extend that Obama might be selfrighteous and likes himself a little too much, plus he has EXCELLENT PR people, he ran a better campaign than Apple with the MAC book AIR.

I think we should keep on observing this whole thing rational, and a lot of comments here are not.
I’m sorry if I’m not my comprehensive self, I’m awfully tired.

[…]includes much long time anti semitism.
It also includes pesonal attacks, death threats, scrubbing of information from the internet, revisionist history, brainwashing the young, humiliating the elderly and associations with thugs and terrorists as well as the mesmerizing speeches of change.[…]
That’s not 3rd reich, that’s politics to me. If it’s about that, I compare you any politician who ever ran, to the Nazis on an A4 sheet, though I agree that Obama was especially successful. And I don’t want to say that your post is excellent written.

Anyway, I agree to follow blind is always dangerous. And I agree, and HOPE (even though I would have voted Democrats or one of the 3rd’s, but I just can’t hear that word anymore) that the Obama supporter stick to being active, and not just a supporter without a question. And I hope that all the ‘be afraid, Obama is Hitler’people maybe get their butts out of the chair to help create their future, too. I wrote a letter to the Obama followers on voting day.

Feel free to leave a link in my comments, too:)
    Good night

  54. The Fascism that arose in Germany is a particular instance in history that is found in a particular context. You can’t just point out the similarities between two different countries at two different time periods and expect there to be such a direct correlation. Not to mention I’m sure there are many political figures that would fit the profile of Hitler that you provided.

  55. Travis.
I have read extensively about pre war and wartime Nazi Germany.
No one is stating that we have an identical situation. The analogies I have drawn compare the Obama camp to the Hitler camp. The analogies are real, striking and scary.

  56. Concerned Citizen

This post is rife with the same neophobic hate-mongering and intolerance exemplified by the Nazi party. I would not dignify this garbage with even an indication that I had read it, but I feel myself unable to speak against you and the evil you are trying to perpetuate. I need not list the many fallacies present here as any sane person would realize how pathetic it is even to ATTEMPT to make such a comparison as soon as they attempted to CITE the source of any of your information. You are either knowingly attempting to deceive or you are dangerously insane, or perhaps both. End this Nazi-esque masquerade and take down this post.

  57. Anyone want to respond to “Concerned Citizen”?

  58. Concerned Citizen —

There is a wonderful book written by a former teacher of mine. He interviewed hundreds of Germans shortly after World War II to try and discover why their perception of what happened in Nazi Germany was so much different from the rest of the world.

You know what he entitled his book? “They Thought They were Free.”

I left the book carelessly in the back window of my car parked in Amsterdam, and when I returned, my car was surrounded by Dutch policemen, waiting to interview me.

They misunderstood why a car with German plates parked in a parking lot would have a book which featured a Swastika on the cover was doing in Amsterdam.

You see, I’m old enough to remember another teacher of mine who walked out the backdoor of his house as Brown Shirts came in the front. He stood on top of the hillside, while he watched them burn his entire library in his yard.

He never returned home, but walked across Germany on foot, until he reached safety in Switzerland.

So, be careful who you call a “Nazi!” Some us remember the real ones!

  59. Actually, I’d like to hear more from “concerned citizen”. It motivates me to read a rant from an occasional Obamoron. It better prepares me for those delusional, ignorant, fools I encounter personally.

  60. Jacqlyn Smith

Concerned Citizen—–WAKE UP…..It’s not just a bad dream!!!!!

  61. ‘One People, One Nation, One Leader’… sound familiar? Those that do waynot learn from history are bound to repeat it. No one is saying hitler was right or good, just that the sheeple might be falling for the same con all over again. But this time it really is for all the marbles. Hitler was funded by the banksters and copied the american eugenics ideology anyway. Do you trust the media? Do you trust the government? Of course not. Then why suddenly trust obama, a politician from chicago, one of the corrupt cities in the world. History has shown that blind devotion to mass movements are very dangerous. It was easy to see bush was a liar. I’d rather know I’m being lied to then be fooled by a slick salesman. Only time will tell, but I’d rather err on the side of caution then blind devotion.

  62. I’m of a mixed race exactly as Obama is.
I can tell you that there can also be a “black”
Hitler of this era.I know because I have been accepted, and discriminated against by both white and black. And i’ve lived amongst both.
I have seen some of the most racist people in the black community, just like in white communities.
As mixed individuals,we often get to decide
which race we’ll be akin to.Obama has chosen the black race, but with a victim mantality, and
deep hidden racist hatred toward the white race.I’ve seen that face on others, and if unchecked this calamity will end very badly.
I see that jews may not have learned from the past.Blacks should know better, and whites
are spinning the roulette wheel. Also I guess
orientals have forgotten the rouning up of
    their people in the past.
God help us all if they don’t snap out of it.

  63. History does repeat itself……..I know older Germans that came to the U.S. after WWll And they even compared obamnation to to Hitler……WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU?

  64. Thank you. I have been looking for a comparison like this online because I know it’s true but just couldn’t get the idea out of my mind and onto paper; your post sums it all up very much.

Thanks again, and keep scrutinizing! Obama will bring this country down!

  65. Could it be that Obama is the reincaration of Alolf Hitler. Lets see, he hates Jews, hates freedom of speech and is trying to get rid of it. What’s next? The burning of books?

  66. Everett Mann

Can we show some unity, please? If you are a patriot then stop attacking Orly Taitz, a lady who runs circles around you and Berg put together. This in-fighting is HIGHLY suspect.

  67. Good blog. Obama and his supporter have a lot of parallels to Hitler and his loyal supporters. Or the eastern European Soviet satellite states. Free speech will die in this country in the next few years with the DemiComs in power.

Ask people from the former Warsaw Pact (other than Russia) what they think of Barry Messiah. They recognize a Commie or Useful Idiot when they see one. This guy is worse than Jimmy Carter. Orwell just had the year wrong. Let’s get ready for tomorrow’s New Speak.

We need a new Ronald Reagan (or Charlemagne?).

  68. All I can say is NEW WORLD ORDER.

Still there are those that think Obama is the savior.

Wake up America, we are almost out of time.

  69. yes there are to many similarities and this is crazy.. watch the movie “Left Behind”
a movie inspired by the book “left behind”
the movie is about the prophetic end times and the movie depicts a man who will come out of nowhere “nicoli Karpathia” who will have the entire world mesmerized in him a world leader peace peace peace one world religion, one world order, one leader who will take off his mask at the right moment obama =
    the Anti-christ

  70. marieke, made along statement that assumed some facts that are not true. She spoke of reading books of all languages to bolster her case. all the countries had opinions on Hitler and Nazis. The fact is the Nazis of Germany(i don t know about the other facist states) Clearly stated that the State was all powerful and the fur was the sole leader of that state.

So to say that the killing of Jews was the corner piece is not true. They were the biggest scape goat of the movement. Germans wanted to have security and feared that the communist were a threat. Hitler also hated capitalist. Private property was considered completely empty because if the state (Hitler) thought your property could yield more for the state by taking it away from the owner under Nazi law he he had the legal right. This is what Nazism at its core. Antisemitism was just one tool to help bring Hitler and Nazism to power.

  71. Hey, I would like to send the writer of this piece something… I hope he doesn’t mind but I found this article GREAT!!! So I drew a picture of the US flag with 50 Swastikas as well as the USSR’s hammer and sickle with Barrack Obama’s head in the middle… with all his points written in a comparison to Nazi Germany and Socialists America in the stripes of the flag… 😀

  72. So I have an assignment for school that is about how history does not repeat, but it does rhyme (which was mentioned in a previous reply). I searched this topic on google and this popped up and I was so excited! This has helped me SOO much! And I just thought that I would thank you for this! 🙂

  73. I agree with you. He’s stated before that he wants to fundamentally change this country. He hates capitalism, and he hates the freedom that we enjoy, because if we are allowed to make our own decisions, that means he can’t make it for us.

  74. i haven’t read all the comments because as i started it sounded like i was in a school yard, this is exactly why this marxist, muslim tool has made it this far, he doesn’t even deny his beliefs, doesn’t deny his karl marx background, that he was raised a muslim, these two things alone should bring him down. all one has to do is watch some old footage of hitler and close their eyes, almost word for word it’s obama speaking. i just heard recently that he was interested in the the old one world government and doing away with all guns period for all citizens, don’t you fools realize this is exactly what all dictators did just before taking over a country. the entire country must have had it’s head buried in the sand for the last 20 years and be brain dead.

  75. so when concerned citizen is wearing a uniform the same as all the other good little slaves and goosestepping to his menial little job, driving the same kind of car as all the others, given his ration of food and told how many kids he can have, where he can live, who he can speak to and watching government tv, will he still make the same kind of statements. i’m guessing yes, because it takes a certain kind of human to want to be led around and “taken care of” and he seems to be one.

  78. well it seems like ive said about all i can about this guy, im shocked that society accepted him to begin with and that he lasted so long. now we are nearing the end of another dilemma, will the country make the same mistake again and elect his butt kissing counterpart. im not sure we can survive this again.
