Obama criticized by Kenyan Government for being poorly informed, History repeats with Obama gun control statements, Obama hypocrisy of thug associations

Obama has a history of hypocrisy, for blaming others for what he is guilty of. Obama associated with criminals and thugs in Chicago and even campaigned for his cousin Raila Odinga in 2006, in violation of the Logan Act.

Despite prosecutions being down for firearm attacks and the Obama Justice Department providing arms for Mexican drug lords, the Obama Administration is targeting innocent, responsible gun owners.

Here is what the Kenyan Government had to say about Obama’s hypocritical comments in 2006.

“RESPONSE TO AMERICAN SENATOR BARACK OBAMA’S POORLY INFORMED COMMENTS ABOUT TERRORISM, WANTED GENOCIDE CRIMINALS AND GOVERNANCE IN KENYA”

Senator Barack Obama indicated that he was visiting Africa to help nurture relations between the continent and the United States. His mission, therefore, was warmly welcomed by the Government and the people of Kenya. The fact that he has roots in Kenya endeared him to the people of this country.However, during his public address at the University of Nairobi, Senator Obama made extremely disturbing statements on issues which it is clear, he was very poorly informed, and on which he chose to lecture the Government and the people of Kenya on how to manage our country.

We would like to make the following facts clear:

a) Kenya is no less vulnerable to terrorism than the United States or any other country. Kenya has in the past suffered incidents of terrorism because of our friendship with the United States and not because as a people, we are less efficient in the management of our security. Indeed, his own country and other countries with higher levels of development, have had more incidences of terrorism despite their sophisticated security systems. Therefore, blaming terrorist attacks in Kenya on possible corruption is highly misplaced and insincere. Using his logic, then, it follows that the terrorist attacks in the United States and other countries are as a result of corrupt border and customs police in his own country and other countries which have experienced incidents of terrorism.

b) The allegation that wanted Rwandese genocide fugitive Felicen Kabuga may have purchased safe haven in Kenya is an insult to the people of this country and negates the fact that Kenya, Rwanda and the United Nations have an excellent track record in collaboration in the search and apprehending of Rwandese suspects. This country has turned over to the United Nations Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda the highest number of genocidal suspects for trial. For that reason also, this country cannot be a safe haven for any genocide suspect and especially Kabuga. If it was an issue of corruption money, as Senator Obama states, then the bounty of US$5 million (Kshs 365 million) being offered by the United States for the apprehension of Kabuga, would be irresistible to the alleged corrupt police. If anybody knows where Kabuga is, this Government would like to know so that we can apprehend him immediately and hand him over to the tribunal.

c) Senator Obama enjoyed the vibrant freedom of expression and wide democratic space existing in this country, during his tour. Instead of acknowledging this big leap in this country, he chose to dwell on none issues as far as the governance of this country is concerned. He ignored the fact that strengthening of democracy and institutions of Governance has been the strongest thrust of this Government. Today, every Kenyan can openly talk about and address issues of corruption without fear and associate himself or herself to any political party he or she chooses. Bold decisions have made to bring down the rate of corruption with great success. For example, the success in our fighting corruption is evidenced by the fact that Kenya is one of the best performing countries in Africa in the collection of public revenue and the economy has had a turn-around from near zero percent (0%), three years ago, to about six percent (6%) economic growth today. This cannot be achieved in a country, which Senator Obama says, is experiencing a “corruption crisis.”

d) Senator Obama also trivialized the harmony and peaceful co-existence that exists between different ethnic groups and races that live in this country, and chose to magnify tribalism as a major problem in this country.

During Senator Obama’s visit, the Government spared no effort in making his stay and travel all over the country enjoyable and fulfilling. Senator Barack Obama is welcome to come again to learn more about the country, the Government and the people of this country.

We still do not know where Barack Obama was born. Obama has not presented a copy of an original certified birth certificate. Obama will never be a natural
born citizen, a US citizen with 2 US citizen parents. Obama at some point became a US citizen. We do not yet know when that occurred.

Here is what we do know. The following is not conjecture or my opinion. The following are facts.

Fact: Obama was a citizen of Kenya at birth due to his father’s Kenyan Citizenship.

Question: Was Obama also a citizen of the US at birth? We still do not have an answer.

Fact: Barack Obama is a Kenyan name.

Fact: Obama was a citizen of Kenya his entire tenure at Occidental.

Fact: Occidental listed him as Barack Obama. Some students called him Barry.

Fact: Obama attended Occidental on a full scholarship.

Fact: The Scholarship was not based on academics.

In Obama’s own words.

Fact: The Scholarship was not based on athletics.

“What his fellow ballers don’t seem to recall, however, is whether Obama played for the Tigers in a more formal capacity, as a former coach insists and the
media have reported, and no tangible proof seems to exist that he did.

No photos showing the skinny teenager in short shorts.

No roster.

No box score.

No score book.

No mention in the school paper.

Nothing has been found, school spokesman Jim Tranquada says.”

Fact: This leaves a scholarship based on need, one from an outside source or an International Student Scholarship. It seems unlikely that Obama would receive
a full scholarship based on need with his high school performance and subsequent Occidental performance.

Fact: Occidental currently provides full scholarships to International Students.

financial situation, but may cover up to the full cost of an Occidental education. Scholarships are awarded according to both merit and financial need, and
are given to those students who have demonstrated a balance of outstanding academic achievement and extra-curricular engagement throughout high school.”

Fact: Obama’s father, Barack Obama, Sr. received several scholarships to study in the US. However, Barack Sr. was considered a serious student.

Conclusion: Obama was able to obtain a full scholarship despite a lackluster performance in high school and Occidental. Perhaps the standards for
International Students were lower then. Perhaps Obama had a benefactor.

Obama has kept his records hidden. There is a reason.

But remember, Obama was a citizen of Kenya then.

Regardless of whether or not Obama was also technically a US citizen then, did he acknowledge it?

That is a good question.

When I first received notification about the alleged AP story about Occidental College releasing Obama’s transcipts, as I always do, I checked it out and found no reference to it with the Associated Press. I believe it was a clever diversion.

The question is, who created it.

The Obama camp is masterful at diversions and preemptively disarming controversies such as Obama’s drug use.

I believe this to be another example of attempting to disarm a story.

It is not going to work. The search for the truth will continue.

“Obama records requests prove fruitless”

“On Friday, Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Sun-Times reported that she had asked Obama at a news conference: “Do your state senate papers still exist? If they do, just where are they? And would you ever intend to make them public to be responsive to some requests?”

Sweet wrote that he replied: “Nobody has requested specific documents.”

But the Chicago Tribune has reported that it “requested documents from his time in Springfield and never received a response.”

And Sweet wrote of her own paper, “The Chicago Sun-Times has also been asking about Obama’s papers.”

As Obama began gaining in stature as a possible Democrat nominee, more questions were being asked about his past. Obama continued avoiding proving where he was born and providing records about his college years. He also minimized his contact with Tony Rezko, which was proven to be a lie during the Rezko Trial.

On August 21, 2008, attorney Phillip J. Berg filed a lawsuit requesting proof of Obama’s eligibility for the presidency and for copies of Obama’s records.

In Berg’s Motion for Expedited Discovery he requests:

“Any and all college applications and records, including but not
limited to Occidental College, Harvard College, Harvard Law
School, University of Chicago, Columbia and any other colleges
which Defendant Obama applied at;”

no one gets access to his birth records in Hawaii or his college transcripts from Occidental College and Harvard. (It is speculated that the transcripts will

“Alan Keyes, a presidential candidate of the American Independent Party, and Markham Robinson, a California elector, have now sued to see Obama’s birth
certificate (these men would definitely have legal “standing” to sue as plaintiffs in this case).”

The Fake AP article was dated April 1, 2009.

Snopes correctly debunks the article email as not originating from the AP and provides the following info.

FactCheck.org provided a very misleading if not false statement.

“Claim #15, foreign student aid. The claim that Obama got “foreign student aid” is untrue. That wild falsehood began as an absurd April Fools’ Day hoax in
2009, which we quickly exposed.”

Wrong! Since FactCheck.org nor anyone else that I am aware of has seen Obama’s Occidental Transcripts, we do not know if he received foreign student aid. We only know that the alleged AP article was faked and that Obama continues to hide his records.

To this date Obama has used private attorneys such as Fredric Woocher and Robert Bauer to keep his records hidden.

More damning for Obama is that he has also used US Justice Department Attorneys, at taxpayer expense, to keep his records hidden.

Many of the references to Obama’s birthplace leading up to 2008 stated that Obama was born in Kenya.

And recently we learned. 

“Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama’s then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”

The booklet, which was distributed to “business colleagues” in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel.”

The Sheriff Joe Arpaio news conference took place on July 17, 2012. The results of their investigation in Hawaii into Obama’s birth records were revealed. Here are the highlights.

1. The image placed on Whitehouse.gov, purported to be Obama’s long form birth certificate is fraudulent.

2. Due to provisions in Hawaii law allowing the registration of birth from anywhere on the planet as a Hawaiian birth, no birth certificate issued by the state of Hawaii can be used as evidence of birth there.

3. Despite the fact that law enforcement credentials were presented multiple times, all of the Hawaiian officials they met with were uncooperative.

This is the story of the century and no major news organization is covering it. The only report I find so far in the mainstream media is an AP article that is inaccurate and I believe biased.

The following statement is not applicable:

“Hawaii officials have repeatedly confirmed Obama’s citizenship, and state officials did again Tuesday.”

Obama’s citizenship is not being questioned. We will obviously let anyone be a citizen. His Natural Born Citizen status, a requirement for the presidency, is being questioned. In this case, his place of birth.

The following statements by Joshua A. Wisch, a special assistant to Hawaii’s attorney general, are a lie:

“President Obama was born in Honolulu and his birth certificate is valid,”

Mr. Wisch is not privy to the original document and not qualified to evaluate one.

“Regarding the latest allegations from a sheriff in Arizona, they are untrue, misinformed, and misconstrue Hawaii law.”

Outright lie! I listened to the news conference and Sheriff Joe Arpaio and lead investigator Mike Zullo basically regurgitated what had been reported here and elsewhere on the internet for years regarding Hawaii law and getting birth certificates. They did an excellent job of explaining it. We have known for quite a while that a foreign birth could be recorded as a Hawaiian birth with recordation and a birth certificate.

The AP ends with:

“Courts have rebuffed lawsuits over the issue.”

The issue being questioned is the image placed on WhiteHouse.gov purported to be Obama’s long form birth certificate. Neither this image or any other document represented as a birth certificate for Obama and offered by Obama or an attorney representing him has ever been scrutinized, evaluated or ruled on by any court of law.

Donald Trump is the only major person with media clout to speak out and challenge Obama on all of his records. Trump was interviewed on the Sean Hannity show and Hannity allowed him to discuss the Sheriff Joe Arpaio news conference.

“Billionaire Donald Trump, who repeatedly has challenged Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president, is doubling down on those remarks, telling radio show host Sean Hannity that it would be very interesting to see Obama’s college applications.

He said on yesterday’s show that probable GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney should demand to see Obama’s records in return for meeting Democrat demands to release his tax records. Trump said Obama probably is more scared of releasing his own documentation than he is of releasing all the information about the Fast and Furious gun scandal perpetrated by his administration.

Trump’s comments come in the wake of another news conference by Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Ariz., on Obama’s eligibility. His Cold Case Posse team of investigators released documentation Tuesday they believe is proof the Obama birth certification posted online by the White House in 2011 is fake.

“The fact is Sheriff Arpaio is, in my opinion, correct,” Trump told Hannity. “Nobody was ever in the hospital by the name of his mother … and a lot of crazy things.”

He pointed out, however, the nation’s unwillingness to address the issue, including the role of the mainstream media in attacking anyone who challenges Obama.

“If that were a conservative, let’s say a George Bush or somebody, he would have been out of office already,” he told Hannity.

“Nobody has more sealed records than this president. So many of his applications … are sealed. He spent $3 million to keep everything sealed. You can’t find out anything about his college. I’m not talking about his marks. I’m talking about his application. It would be so interesting to see,” Trump said.”

The media and the left in their typical fashion have attacked the messenger. But why hasn’t the media covered the other aspects of Obama’s records. The “no brainer” questions.

Abstract: “The term abstract is subject to different meanings, but in a legal sense, it refers to an abbreviated history of an official record.””

This automatically disqualifies the WhiteHouse.com image as being a copy of an original birth certificate.

Governor Neil Abercrombie stated that he could find no birth certifcate for Obama. Only a notation in the archives.

“The chief elections officer in the state of Arizona, who ignited a firestorm of outraged Democrat reaction when he answered a hypothetical question regarding Barack Obama and the 2012 presidential election ballot, has told a meeting of Republicans that he believes Obama might have lied about his birth being in Kenya in order to gain status in the American college system.

Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett recently addressed a meeting of state Republicans and discussed the heat that was generated when he responded to a hypothetical question that Obama could be kept off the 2012 election ballot if his claim of a birth in Hawaii could not be verified.

He joked about touching the “third rail” with the comment.

Bennett formally inquired of Hawaii for verification of Obama’s birth records there, and when he received a statement from state officials announced his inquiry was closed.

In the address, he said he believes Obama was born in Hawaii, but suggested that all is not truthful and straightforward in the Obama camp.

“I actually think he was fibbing about being born in Kenya when he was trying to get into college,” Bennett said.

Obama entered higher education in the U.S. at Occidental College. He later was at Columbia and Harvard. It was the Occidental records that were subpoenaed during one of the multitude of court challenges to his occupancy of the Oval Office, and Obama promptly dispatched his attorneys to shut down the effort to see his documentation.

At issue is his status as a “natural born citizen” as required by the U.S. Constitution. Some allege he wasn’t born in Hawaii as he says, so he wouldn’t hold that special status. Others allege it makes no difference, as the Founders would have required two citizen parents for their offspring to be a “natural born citizen” and Obama’s father was never more than a Kenyan student studying in America.

There are numerous challenges that have developed now trying to keep Obama’s name off the 2012 presidential election ballot on the grounds that he is not, in fact qualified as a “natural born citizen.”

Bennett said in his opinion the case is “closed” but he realizes other people remain skeptical.

“As to whether the president was born in Hawaii, personally I believe he was,” he said. “I actually think he was fibbing about being born in Kenya when he was trying to get into college.”

He noted “weird stuff” that happened back in those days, including a biography by a potential book publisher that specifically cited Obama’s Kenyan birth.

“I think he has spent $1.5 to $2 million through attorneys to have all the college records and all that stuff sealed,” Bennett said. “So if you’re spending money to seal something, that’s probably where the hanky panky was going on.””

College admission records will likely show he attended as a foreign born student. That is why Obama is hiding his college records. Obama likely never registered for the draft since he was a foreign student and did not have to. Thus the need in 2008 to forge and back date a draft registration card. Hawaiian laws allowed children born abroad to a Hawaiian citizen to be registered as born in Hawaii. Obama could have been physically born in Kenya and yet registered by the maternal grandmother in Hawaii as born there which would trigger the standardized newspaper birth registration accounts in the Hawaii newspapers in 1961. The results of the Sheriff Joe Arpaio investigation of Obama’s birth certificate, Selective Service Application and other records are beginning to surface and a news conference is expected soon. Press coverage, though often biased is increasing. It is good to see Obama questioned in print in NC.

“Finally some reporters are doing some investigation of the life of President Obama. The left has done a great job of making anyone who asks any questions about Obama’s past out to be crazy.

People who just wanted to see Obama’s birth certificate, not anymore than Obama would have to show if he wanted to play Little League baseball, are called “birthers” and are by definition the same folks who see black helicopters hovering over their houses every night. The left has done a remarkably good job of defining people who just wanted to see proof that Obama was born in the United States as nutcases. His Republican opponent in that last election, Sen. John McCain, went to court and proved that even though he was born in Panama, he met the definition of a “natural born citizen.” Obama facing the same challenge went to court and said that he didn’t have to prove that he was a “natural born citizen.”

As it turns out, people had good reason to ask that question about Obama, because for years Obama claimed to have been born in Kenya. He was listed as born in Kenya in his publisher’s biography. That was no doubt done to boost book sales, but it is either evidence that Obama was born in Kenya or evidence that he is not a very honest person. In some of the information about Obama when he was running for the Senate is information that Obama was born in Kenya. Once again it makes him seem more exotic and was supposed to win him more votes, and unless you’re running for president it doesn’t make any difference where you were born.

Now we find out that Obama was a member of the far left-wing New Party. He joined when he ran for the Illinois State Senate. The head of the New Party said the New Party didn’t have members, but according to the party’s own documents, they did have members – and Obama was one of them. Two separate documents confirm that Obama joined the New Party on Jan. 11, 1996.

It should not be startling that Obama was a member of a far left-wing part of the Democratic Party when you consider the church that Obama attended for over 20 years and then tossed off as if he were not really a member of that either.

Obama is way far left, and the longer he is in government the more he proves it. The goal of the New Party was to move the US government toward the European social democracy model. From his actions and statements it appears that is consistent with Obama’s position, although in light of what is going on in Europe right now, it seems he might want to rethink that.

Two interesting polls have come out in the past week. One shows that in North Carolina Obama is rapidly losing black voters and the other shows that in New York Obama is losing Jewish voters at a rapid rate. Obama’s support among Jewish voters in New York has dropped 22 points in the past month. Both make sense. Blacks are being hit harder by this down economy than whites, and Obama has treated Israel badly every opportunity he has had.”

I believe that the best way that we can honor fallen soldiers on Memorial Day, or any other day, is to do our duty to maintain our system of government and laws that they fought to protect. It was fitting today to connect more dots together about Obama’s past and why he may have refused to fill out and submit a Selective Service Application.

We have in recent months obtained stronger corroboration of Obama claiming to be from Kenya in the past. Why would he do so?

The 1983 Obama article in the Columbia University Sundial takes on new meaning with the strong Kenya references we now know of.

shoot forth – nukes, racism, the draft, and South Africa. “We have been better organized when taking one issue at a time, but we are always cognizant of

At this time, the current major issue is the Solomon Bill, the latest legislation from Congress to obtain compliance to registration. The law requires that
all male students applying for federal financial aid submit proof of registration, or else the government coffers will close. Yale, Wesleyan, and Swathmore
have refused to comply, and plan to offer non-registrants other forms of financial aid. SAM hopes to press Columbia into following suit, though so far
President Sovern and company seem prepared to acquiesce to the bill.

Robert believes students tacitly support non-registrants, though the majority did not comply. “Several students have come up to our tables and said that had
they known of the ineffectiveness of prosecution, they would not have registered.” A measure of such underlying support is the 400 signatures, on a petition protesting the Solomon Bill, which SAM collected the first four hours it appeared. Robert also points out that prior to registration, there were four
separate bills circulation in the House proposing a return to the draft, but none ever got out of committees, and there have not been renewed efforts. An
estimated half-million registrants can definitely be a powerful signal.

Prodding students into participating beyond name signing and attending events is tricky, but SAM members seem undaunted. “A lot of the problem comes not
from people’s ignorance of the facts, but because the news and statistics are lifeless. That’s why we search for campus issues like the Solomon bill that
have direct impact on the student body, and effectively link the campus to broader issues.” By organizing and educating the Columbia community, such
activities lay the foundation for future mobilization against the relentless, often silent spread of militarism in the country. “The time is right to tie
together social and military issues, “Robert continues, “and the more strident the Administration becomes, the more aware people are of their real interests.

The belief that moribund institutions, rather than individuals are at the root of the problem, keep SAM’s energies alive. “A prerequisite for members of an
organization like ours is the faith that people are fundamentally good, but you need to show them. And when you look at the work people are doing across the
country, it makes you optimistic.

Perhaps the essential goodness of humanity is an arguable proposition, but by observing the SAM meeting last Thursday night, with its solid turnout and
enthusiasm, one might be persuaded that the manifestations of our better instincts can at least match the bad ones. Regarding Columbia’s possible
compliance, one comment in particular hit upon an important point with the Solomon bill, “The thing we need to do is expose how Columbia is talking out of
two sides of its mouth.”

Indeed the most pervasive malady of the collegiate system specifically, and the American experience generally, in that elaborate patterns of knowledge and
theory have been disembodied from individual choices and government policy. What the members of ARA and SAM try to do is infuse what they have learned about the current situation, bring the words of that formidable roster on the face of Butler Library, names like Thoreau, Jefferson, and Whitman, to bear on the
twisted logic of which we are today a part. By adding their energy and effort in order to enhance the possibility of a decent world, they may help deprive
us of a spectacular experience – that of war. But then, there are some things we shouldn’t have to live through in order to want to avoid the experience.”

As to the alleged Hawaiian birth certificate.

I still do not know where Obama was born.

Obama, unlike John McCain in 2008, has never presented a certified, legitimate copy of a birth certificate.

Tim Adams, who worked in an elections office in Hawaii in 2008, was told then that there was no birth certificate for Obama.

Neil Abercrombie, the governor of Hawaii and a family friend of Obama, soon after taking office made inquiries and stated that he could find no birth certificate for Obama.

The Sheriff Joe Arpaio cold case posse investigation, along with other experts have stated that the image placed on WhiteHouse.gov is fraudulent.

Even if the image on WhiteHouse.gov appeared authentic, it could not be used in a court of law under scrutiny and questioning due to the following:

The phrase “or abstract” disqualifies it as proof of a certified copy.

Once again we see Alvin Onaka’s name in the “verification of birth” from Hawaii to Arizona on May 22, 2012.

Is this another case of Orwellian semantics or more Hawaiian corruption?

I.E., we know for a fact that someone can be born elsewhere and still get a Hawaii birth certificate, hence the term abstract, a collection of data from sources.

Crucially, Obama has refused to release his college transcripts from Columbia and Occidental College, which certainly do exist. Other candidates–such as George W. Bush–released their transcripts, though their grades were not necessarily flattering.

The mainstream media has clamored for, and investigated, and leaked information about other presidential candidates. But not Barack Obama–not in 2008, and not now.

Even when you lead the mainstream media by the nose to the facts, or to the questions they should ask, they refuse. They are addicted to a failing business model: left-wing bias alienates readers, which cuts revenues, which leads to layoffs, which leads to less news coverage, which leads to more opinion, which alienates readers anew. They tinker with every part of that failing model except the bias that launches the vicious cycle.

As more and more information about Obama emerges–through Breitbart News and other New Media sources, left and right–the failing mainstream media look more and more foolish, reduced to beatifying the president instead of reporting what he and his administration have done to this country.

Whether Obama’s college transcripts, or the documents in the Fast and Furious scandal, the time for excuses and evasions is over.”

Why did Breitbart.com state:

“which stated (incorrectly) that Obama had been “born in Kenya,””

How do they know that was incorrect?

Furthermore:

“The image above–never before released–is from public records at Columbia University that prove that Obama did, in fact, graduate in 1983 from the Ivy League school.”

What public records?

Obama’s birth announcement was in a public record but did not prove Hawaiian birth.

Obama has used extreme measures to keep his past hidden. We still do not know where he was born. All we know is that he has constantly lied about his past. That is why I have phrased the question above to include his college records. Perhaps Obama has lied in the past about being born in Kenya to get an advantage in college. We now know that the Ayers family referred to Obama as Kenyan.

“THE VETTING – EXCLUSIVE – OBAMA’S LITERARY AGENT IN 1991 BOOKLET: ‘BORN IN KENYA AND RAISED IN INDONESIA AND HAWAII'”

“Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama’s then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”

The booklet, which was distributed to “business colleagues” in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel.

It also promotes Obama’s anticipated first book, Journeys in Black and White–which Obama abandoned, later publishing Dreams from My Father instead.
Obama’s biography in the booklet is as follows (image and text below):

Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. The son of an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister, he attended Columbia University and worked as a financial journalist and editor for Business International Corporation. He served as project coordinator in Harlem for the New York Public Interest Research Group, and was Executive Director of the Developing Communities Project in Chicago’s South Side. His commitment to social and racial issues will be evident in his first book, Journeys in Black and White.
The booklet, which is thirty-six pages long, is printed in blue ink (and, on the cover, silver/grey ink), using offset lithography. It purports to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of Acton & Dystel, which was founded in 1976.

Jay Acton no longer represents Obama. However, Jane Dystel still lists Obama as a client on her agency’s website.
According to the booklet itself, the text was edited by Miriam Goderich, who has since become Dystel’s partner at Dystel & Goderich, an agency founded in 1994. Breitbart News attempted to reach Goderich by telephone several times over several days. Her calls are screened by an automated service that requires callers to state their name and company, which we did. She never answered.

The design of the booklet was undertaken by Richard Bellsey, who has since closed his business. Bellsey, reached by telephone, could not recall the exact details of the booklet, but told Breitbart News that it “sounds like one of our jobs, like I did for [Acton & Dystel] twenty years ago or more.”

The parade of authors alongside Obama in the booklet includes politicians, such as former Speaker of the House Tip O’Neill; sports legends, such as Joe Montana and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar; and numerous Hollywood celebrities.

The reverse side of the page that features Barack Obama includes former Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader and early-1990s “boy band” pop sensation New Kids On the Block.
Acton, who spoke to Breitbart News by telephone, confirmed precise details of the booklet and said that it cost the agency tens of thousands of dollars to produce.

He indicated that while “almost nobody” wrote his or her own biography, the non-athletes in the booklet, whom “the agents deal[t] with on a daily basis,” were “probably” approached to approve the text as presented.

Dystel did not respond to numerous requests for comment, via email and telephone. Her assistant told Breitbart News that Dystel “does not answer questions about Obama.”

The errant Obama biography in the Acton & Dystel booklet does not contradict the authenticity of Obama’s birth certificate. Moreover, several contemporaneous accounts of Obama’s background describe Obama as having been born in Hawaii.

The biography does, however, fit a pattern in which Obama–or the people representing and supporting him–manipulate his public persona.
David Maraniss’s forthcoming biography of Obama has reportedly confirmed, for example, that a girlfriend Obama described in Dreams from My Father was, in fact, an amalgam of several separate individuals.

In addition, Obama and his handlers have a history of redefining his identity when expedient. In March 2008, for example, he famously declared: “I can no more disown [Jeremiah Wright] than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother.”

Several weeks later, Obama left Wright’s church–and, according to Edward Klein’s new biography, The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House, allegedly attempted to persuade Wright not to “do any more public speaking until after the November [2008] election” (51).

Obama has been known frequently to fictionalize aspects of his own life. During his 2008 campaign, for instance, Obama claimed that his dying mother had fought with insurance companies over coverage for her cancer treatments.

That turned out to be untrue, but Obama has repeated the story–which even the Washington Post called “misleading”–in a campaign video for the 2012 election.

The Acton & Dystel biography could also reflect how Obama was seen by his associates, or transitions in his own identity. He is said, for instance, to have cultivated an “international” identity until well into his adulthood, according to Maraniss.

Regardless of the reason for Obama’s odd biography, the Acton & Dystel booklet raises new questions as part of ongoing efforts to understand Barack Obama–who, despite four years in office remains a mystery to many Americans, thanks to the mainstream media.”
