In West Virginia in the 1940s — late 1941 or early 1942, according to Byrd’s memoir — he organized and led a 150-member chapter, or “Klavern,” of the Klan as the “Exalted Cyclops.” In Klan hierarchy, according to Slate, each Klavern is led by an Exalted Cyclops typically elected by his fellow Klansmen. The Exalted Cyclops reports to a “Grand Giant” (provincial leader), “Grand Dragon” (state director) and “Grand Wizard” (national chair).

In his book, Byrd says he worked as a recruiter, or “Kleagle,” for the Klan until early 1943 and then left the state for a welding job in Baltimore. He returned to West Virginia after World War II ended and sent a letter in 1945 to Theodore Bilbo, a Democratic senator and segregationist from Mississippi, complaining about efforts to integrate the military.

“Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels,” he wrote.

“North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is taking umbrage with an editorial cartoon that depicts Republicans as members of the KKK.

Robinson, a Greensboro Republican, took office in January and is the first Black lieutenant governor in North Carolina history.

“It’s something we cannot stand for, folks,” Robinson said at a press conference Tuesday to criticize the cartoon, published Tuesday on the CBC Opinion page of WRAL.com, which like WRAL-TV is owned by Capitol Broadcasting Co.”

“As a public servant I have to put those opinions behind me and do what’s right for everyone in North Carolina,” Robinson said. “And I’m grown enough to do that. …. “Greensboro resident Mark Robinson’s speech went viral after U.S. Rep. Mark Walker of North Carolina shared it on Facebook on Wednesday morning. By Friday, the clip had been viewed more than 3.2 million times.

Robinson spoke during a public comment period in which several people shared thoughts on a gun and knife show slated for late summer at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.

Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughan previously proposed canceling the show in response to the Parkland, Fla., high school shooting that killed 17 people in February.”

“Robinson asked city leaders “when are you all going to start standing up for the majority?” – a group he said includes himself, as “a law-abiding citizen who’s never shot anybody, never committed a serious crime, never committed a felony.”

“I’ve never done anything like that, but it seems like every time we have one of these shootings, nobody wants to put the blame where it goes, which is at the shooter’s feet,” Robinson said at the meeting. “You want to put it at my feet.”

Robinson, who is black, is among the minority of male gun owners. Only 24 percent of non-white males said they owned a gun, while 48 percent of white men said they own a gun in 2017, making them the most likely demographic to own a gun, according to the Pew Research Center.”

“In just over two weeks, from Jan. 7 to Jan. 22, according to data from the elections board, 59% of 10,766 changes to voter registration came from Republicans re-registering as unaffiliated, as Rhinehardt did. Of that 59%, 40% came from the six, mostly urban counties of Cabarrus, Durham, Guilford, Mecklenburg, Orange and Wake. Those counties account for only 24% of the state’s registered Republicans.

In all, Republicans lost 5,855 voters during that time period. Democrats gave up only 210 voters.”

What the News Record portrayed is actually a Big Lie because it is very misleading and leaves out key facts.

Kimrey Rhinehardt is quoted as leaving the Republican Party because of the Capitol riots. If true, she probably based her decision on lies reported by the News Record and other fake news media.

Voter roll list maintenance is important because it ensures ineligible voters are not included on poll books, reduces the possibility for poll worker error and decreases opportunities for fraud.

As a result of these processes, the number of North Carolina voter registrations will decrease in the coming months.”

History does indeed repeat, especially for those not paying close attention.

The Thought Police actions of social media entities such as Twitter have been a constant reminder of the Nazi propaganda machine headed by Joseph Goebbels in pre WWII Germany.

Instead of the Jews being dehumanized and villified, Twitter et al have focused on Trump and his supporters.

President Trump did his best to awaken the American people to the treachery and threats of China and its agents.

The Democrat party, Joe Biden, RINOS such as Mitch McConnell and the fake news media did their best to cooperate with and obfuscate the intent of China and its agents.

President Trump departs this morning.

Comrade Joe Biden will be installed.

This should be a temporary setback.

But also a rallying cry.

The election is not completely over because investigations are and should be ongoing.

Hold them accountable!

Biden can still be removed.

Just as big a problem as the perpetual corruption and un American activities of the Democrat Party and fellow RINOS, is their partner the fake news media and social media Thought Police assisted by corrupt Corporate America.

“Kremlin joins European Union officials in denouncing Big Tech for squelching free speech online

The Big Tech giants wielded extraordinary power over the freedom of speech online, international officials said.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday joined calls from European Union officials to reign in the censorship power of Big Tech. In a Moscow news conference, Lavrov characterized the tech giants as extra-governmental entities that impose their own rules on public discourse.

“Let’s hope that American society will not let its elites use blatant censorship, flagrant infringement of the Constitution and international commitments in its struggle against one other,” Lavrov said in the Jan. 18 news conference. “If it fails to cope with this problem, we all should be ready to face the consequences of such a failure of the American state, and these consequences would be very serious for the global arena.”

Russia’s top diplomat made his comments in the wake of high-profile social media platforms Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram abolishing accounts belonging to President Donald Trump. Although Facebook and Instagram have restored some elements of the president’s accounts, Twitter has not. The platform leader, Jack Dorsey, has disregarded public outcry against Twitter’s seemingly capricious enforcement of its terms of use, and has upheld the ban against Trump.”
