Fox News just made this confession in court??
Last October, Fox News settled a lawsuit with the family of murdered former DNC staffer Seth Rich. Fox News agreed to pay the Rich family millions of dollars to settle after the Rich family sued over a story on Foxnews.com that fueled the conspiracy theory that Seth Rich was murdered for his role in handing over emails obtained from the Democrat National Committee to WikiLeaks during the 2016 campaign. Hannity and Dobbs promoted the theory on the air and were set to be questioned under oath as part of the lawsuit. Fox News settling made all that go away.
But New York Times media columnist Ben Smith reported that Fox settled the case under the condition that the settlement not become public until one month after the November election.“Fox’s decision to settle with the Rich family came just before its marquee hosts, Lou Dobbs and Sean Hannity, were set to be questioned under oath in the case, a potentially embarrassing moment. And Fox paid so much that the network didn’t have to apologize for the May 2017 story on FoxNews.com,” Smith wrote.“But there was one curious provision that Fox insisted on: The settlement had to be kept secret for a month — until after the Nov. 3 election. The exhausted plaintiffs agreed,” Smith added.
Fox News critics pointed to the story as one of the centerpieces of their argument that Fox was not a real news network.This was a story Fox News clearly got wrong as they admitted as much in court with the financial settlement to the Rich family. But the Russia collusion story was a media-wide debacle that extended far beyond Fox News.
And so far no one has been held accountable for that fiasco, particularly not Ben Smith, the former Editor-in-Chief of Buzzfeed who chose to publish the dodgy Russia dossier that launched the entire hoax

…………the senseless murder of Seth Rich was one that was definitely PAY BACK. Why did the Terrapin say that he “didn’t have a problem with Seth Rich being taught a lesson” during a exchange of emails with Mr. Hand who then was employed by Hillary Clinton. Why was the TERRAPIN even in contact with Hand. The TERRAPIN himself was a KEY FIGURE in the Clinton campaign. Somehow he was privvy to learning what happened at the DNC before anyone else. This means that Wasserman Schultz was aware of what Rich was doing. I think it was Schultz who contacted the TERRAPIN and told him what had happened. He reiterated everything to Hillary, and she simply nodded her head in response…….which in effect was translated to an order to WHACK RICH. The Terrapin saw to it that the hit was carried out.

And why is Fox News working so hard to kill this story? I wish I could say more about Fox’s behind-the-scenes treachery — and someday hopefully I will — but rest assured that Malia Zimmerman’s May 17, 2017 story about Mr. Rich was fully vetted by senior Fox management. I repeatedly encouraged Fox’s attorneys to postpone settlement discussions with Seth Rich’s parents until I obtained the FBI records (my client, Ed Butowsky, was a co-defendant with Fox), but Fox was hellbent on settling the case in October / November. That’s around the time Rupert Murdoch publicly joined forces with Joe Biden. Fox had a very strong defense, yet it rolled over and played dead, settling the lawsuit and then firing Ms. Zimmerman. Sooner or later, the full story will come out, and it will be very ugly for Fox News and the Murdoch family.

Katie Couric insulted 76,000,000 American citizens who voted for Donald Trump, suggesting they needed to be deprogrammed. As one of those I will return to Jeopardy when her stint is finished. She is an elitist snob, highly unlikable as well as impolite and bigoted. She is liberal in name only like many of my liberal friends who wouldn’t sit within twenty feet of people of color. Karens, all of them. I go to a church where as a white person I am in the minority. I do so because on the whole culturally I have more in common with them than I do with my liberal friends. Don’t destroy my favorite show just to accommodate the Katie Courics of this world.

We quit watching jeopardy when it was announced that nazi Katie Couric would be hosting a show. She is a loud mouth know it all, who actually is a dumbass. We don’t need to watch communists who want to deprogram people. She is missing some marbles.
