Charlotte NC, Obama rally, Sunday, September 21, 2008, Large crowd, Few protestors, Anti Abortion, Support Military, Crowds misled, Obama has fooled many, Good people fooled

Barack Obama held a rally in downtown Charlotte NC on Sunday, September 21, 2008. There was a large turnout and the 10,000 reserved tickets did not begin to cover the large numbers. People standing in line were told they would get in, but the majority did not. The crowd was orderly and the only commotion I observed was the banter between the anti abortion and Obama pro choice proponents.

I interviwed the anti abortion group. They were affiliated with Operation Save America. One gentleman stated:

“We want America to return to the lord. We want America to return to the Law.”

I asked for a response from someone standing in line to hear Obama. A lady stated that abortion is not genocide. She also stated that she was an independent, had seen all 3 candidates and chose Obama.

I spent several minutes talking to a gentleman that had spent 4 years
in the Marines and was now in the Army. He was aware of the Philip J
Berg lawsuit served on Obama. He was shocked at the lack of coverage by the MSM. He was also surprised at the armed forces people serving in Iraq that believed Obama would get them home sooner. Perhaps they need to read the article about Obama negotiating with Iraqi leaders to delay discussions until after the election. Obama has a lot of people fooled.

Here are some photos:

  1. Hi CW & friends!!

Thanks for the update, nice to hear first hand accounts & see pics of what is happening.
I still miss Hillary so much, but support Mccain/Palin.

    Have a great day everyone!!

  2. I am SHOCKED to say, that folks that we consider, very close to being our best friends, are on the fence, regarding BO.

Good folks we only get to see once or twice/year for the last 10 years.

I just learned of this yesterday.

They are your typical BUSY parents. (coaches, PTA…)

Have small business for 25 years….

all they know is what they hear on ABC, CBS and NBC… once in a while CNN…

I’ve sent a “care package” to them, with hopes of not hurting our friendship of 30 years.

They are open to the idea (lucky for us).

Did anyone ask any thought-provoking question(s) to the Messiah?

  3. A speech given by Libyan Leader Mu’ammar Al-Qadhafi.

“There are elections in America now. Along came a black citizen of Kenyan African origins, a Muslim, who had studied in an Islamic school in Indonesia. His name is Obama. All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man. They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency. But we were taken by surprise when our African Kenyan brother, who is an American national, made statements that shocked all his supporters in the Arab world, in Africa, and in the Islamic world. We hope that this is merely an elections “clearance sale,” as they say in Egypt – in other words, merely an elections lie. As you know, this is the farce of elections – a person lies and lies to people, just so that they will vote for him, and afterwards, when they say to him: :”You promised this and that,” he says: “No, this was just elections propaganda.” This is the farce of democracy for you. He says: “This was propaganda, and you thought I was being serious. I was fooling you to get your votes.”

It was a carefully orchestrated pep rally.
I had hoped to encounter some talk radio folks.

  5. Mr. Wells, What do you think is really going to happen? Obama scares me to death and the more I read the worse it gets. Do you feel that some of this information will come out before the election or are we going to become The North American Union? Thanks for any input.

  6. Brenda.
    Thank God for the internet.
My viewership is way up and more and more people are discovering the real Obama. We cannot let up. The Obama camp is spending record amounts on the campaign (an indication of what he would do in office).
Tell everyone you know. I believe this is a war between good and evil. We must treat it as a war and remain resolved to win. The stakes are too high to do otherwise.

  7. I attended this rally. The line stretched, four abreast, for over 12 blocks! Impressive for a “pep rally.”

Obama has galvanized people. After 8 years of isolationist, shoot first ask questions NEVER politics, we the People have a chance to change this corrupt system.

  8. The one thing that scares me about this whole nobama mess, ie. lawsuit and everything that he has to produce, is that they have all the legitimate information and are waiting for the opportune moment to reveal it. Then they will say how the right etc. tried to smear him and people will then feel sorry for him which will make them forget all about his absent “typical white grandmother” rezko, wright, jones, davis, daley, ayers, said, al-mansour, michelle’s “for the first time etc. etc.
    Where is the whitey tape?
    Never voted republican til now.
    Go PUMAS!

  9. Thanks for the reply. I have TRIED to tell everyone I know–to read–to become informed–even my sister, brother-in-law, nephews and their wives–and they will not listen. My brother-in-law really got mad at me when I told him he drank the kool aid. LOL I realize how very important this election is but for some reason it is as if alot of people are just blinded by Obama. I will keep trying though. Thanks again.

  10. I was at the rally today and excited about Obama and what his vision of change for America, that I feel, we desperately need. Reading over the comments, I am hard pressed to find any argument. What exactly don’t you like about Obama? I find the excerpt from the article from memrivt.edy completely unfounded and, to quote itself, “full of lies.” I am not writing to attack you are your viewpoints, but merely trying to understand, and maybe gain some solid, evidence for what you do not support Obama. I am especially interested in Carly’s comment about missing Hilary but now voting for McCain/Palin. Is it simply because Palin is a woman? Really, if you look at the issues, Hilary and Sarah are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum and if you are voting by gender and now issues, what’s the point?

  11. “But it’s a good reason the polls can’t be trusted. When Obama and his minions try and use the race card to intimidate people, those who do feel intimidated will say one thing but will do another”.
Yes, but it may not matter, the skewed polls will make it look reasonable that Obama won even if it was by voter fraud.

  13. Rachel.
Former Hillary supporters will not vote for Obama for 2 main reasons:
    1. The way Hillary was treated.
    2. Knowledge about the real Obama that manifested itself in the treatment of Hillary and others.
I have extensively researched Obama. There are 2 things about him that are certain. Consistent lies and long times ties to corruption.
Start with the Tony Rezko trial. Read the transcripts. Here is a good example of both. Obama claimed to have limited contact with Rezko. During the trial FBI mole John Thomas stated that Obama was a regular visitor at Rezko’s office.
Search this blog or use categories on the right. Obama is a pathological liar. He has no position that you can believe.
