“Source: FBI probe of Clinton email focused on ‘gross negligence’ provision

Three months after Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email address and server while secretary of state was referred to the FBI, an intelligence source familiar with the investigation tells Fox News that the team is now focused on whether there were violations of an Espionage Act subsection pertaining to “gross negligence” in the safekeeping of national defense information.

Under 18 USC 793 subsection F, the information does not have to be classified to count as a violation. The intelligence source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity citing the sensitivity of the ongoing probe, said the subsection requires the “lawful possession” of national defense information by a security clearance holder who “through gross negligence,” such as the use of an unsecure computer network, permits the material to be removed or abstracted from its proper, secure location.

Subsection F also requires the clearance holder “to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer. “A failure to do so “shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.”

The source said investigators are also focused on possible obstruction of justice. “If someone knows there is an ongoing investigation and takes action to impede an investigation, for example destruction of documents or threatening of witnesses, that could be a separate charge but still remain under a single case,” the source said. Currently, the ongoing investigation is led by the Washington Field Office of the FBI.

A former FBI agent, who is not involved in the case, said the inconsistent release of emails, with new documents coming to light from outside accounts, such as that of adviser Sidney Blumenthal, could constitute obstruction. In addition, Clinton’s March statement that there was no classified material on her private server has proven false, after more than 400 emails containing classified information were documented.

Clinton and her team maintain the use of a private account was allowed, and the intelligence was not classified at the time, but later upgraded. The latter claim is disputed by the intelligence community Inspector General, who represents the agencies involved, which concluded the information was classified from the start.

One of Clinton’s primary defenses is that the emails containing classified information, did not carry classification markings, but a leading national security defense attorney says that is no excuse under the law.

“The fact that something’s not marked or that the person may not know that it was classified would not be relevant at all in a prosecution under the Espionage Act,” defense attorney Edward MacMahon Jr. recently told Fox.”

“Why Is Hillary Clinton So Unhappy?

Why is Hillary Clinton so unhappy? According to her, when she and her husband left the White House, they were dead broke. Yet they left with a truckload of valuable furniture, dinnerware and flatware that was the property of the federal government, for which they were never prosecuted.

They also left with contracts for lectures and speeches worth between $20 million and $30 million in the ensuing years. And they have done quite well financially. According to The Washington Post, between the time Bill Clinton left office in 2001 and January 2013, when Hillary Clinton stepped down as secretary of state, Bill alone made $104.9 million for speeches, and Hillary’s standard speaking fee is $200,000 a pop.

Why is Hillary so unhappy? We can start with the fact that she is her own worst enemy. No Republican dirty trickster could have put her into the legal and political mess into which she has put herself. Her surreptitious refusal to follow federal law and her congenital lying about it have caught up with her.

By using her own computer server instead of the government’s in the four years of her tenure as secretary of state, she knowingly compromised the national security of the United States. She did this by receiving and sending at least 400 emails that contained information that under federal law was confidential, secret or top-secret, which is a felony.

The failure to preserve data of that nature is a federal crime, whether it is stamped with an official secret denomination, whether one has read it and perceived its secret nature, and whether it has fallen into enemy hands or not. Gen. David Petraeus was convicted of retaining the printed versions of secret and top-secret data in a desk drawer in his guarded home. It was alleged — but not proved — that he shared this data with one of his subordinates. Even though the subordinate had a security clearance, Petraeus was prosecuted.

In Hillary’s case, the data have fallen into enemy hands, as one of the folks to whom she regularly sent her emails — in utter and reckless disregard for the secrets they contained — was her political adviser Sid Blumenthal, an employee of the Clinton Foundation at the time. Blumenthal’s insecure server was hacked by Romanian intelligence agents, who were convicted and sentenced to prison.”

“Why This Feels Like A Depression For Most People”

“Everyone has seen the pictures of the unemployed waiting in soup lines during the Great Depression.When you try to tell a propaganda believing, willfully ignorant, mainstream media watching, math challenged consumer we are in the midst of a Greater Depression, they act as if you’ve lost your mind. They will immediately bluster about the 5.1% unemployment rate, record corporate profits, and stock market near all-time highs. The cognitive dissonance of these people is only exceeded by their inability to understand basic mathematical concepts.

The reason you don’t see huge lines of people waiting in soup lines during this Greater Depression is because the government has figured out how to disguise suffering through modern technology. During the height of the Great Depression in 1933, there were 12.8 million Americans unemployed. These were the men pictured in the soup lines. Today, there are 46 million Americans in an electronic soup kitchen line, as their food is distributed through EBT cards (with that angel of mercy JP Morgan reaping billions in profits by processing the transactions).

These 46 million people represent 14% of the U.S. population. There are 23 million households on food stamps in a nation of 123 million households. Therefore, 19% of all households in the U.S. are so poor, they require food assistance to survive. In 1933 there were approximately 126 million Americans living in 30 million households. The government didn’t keep official unemployment records until 1940, but the Department of Labor estimated 12.8 million people were unemployed during the worst year of the Great Depression or 24.9% of the labor force. By 1937 it had fallen to 14.3% or approximately 8 million people.

The number of people unemployed during the 1930’s is an excellent representation of the number of households on government assistance during the Great Depression because 79% of all households were occupied by married couples with 4 people per household versus 48% married couple households today with 2.5 people per household. The unemployment rate averaged 19% during the heart of the Great Depression. Therefore, approximately 19% of all the households in the U.S. needed government assistance to feed themselves. That happens to be the exact percentage of households currently needing food stamps to feed themselves.

We are now supposedly five years into an economic recovery. The unemployment rate, according to the government, has fallen from 10% to 5.1%. Maybe a comparison to the the Great Depression in 1937, five years after the worst of it, would reveal some truth. It is not easy to do an apples to apples comparison because very few women worked outside the home in 1937 and the average life expectancy in the 1930s was 60 years old. Today, the majority of women are theoretically in the work force and the average life expectancy is 78 years old. In 1937 only 5% of the population was over 65 years old versus 13% today.

There were approximately 55 million Americans in the labor force in 1937, according to the DOL, and approximately 47 million of them were employed. So 85% of the eligible work force was working. There was no BLS to massage, manipulate, seasonally adjust, or fake the data to make things appear better than they were in 1937. Edward Bernay’s Propaganda techniques and methodologies weren’t perfected for a few more years. According to Census information there were 52 million Americans between the ages of 18 and 44, along with another 21 million between the ages of 45 and 64 in 1937. So even considering that very few women worked and many people died by the age of 60, we had a workforce of 55 million out of an age eligible population of 73 million at a maximum. That yields a participation rate of 75%.

These facts reveal the utter falsity of the propaganda drenched duplicitous data dumped by the BLS on behalf of vested interests who have captured our government and have an agenda requiring the public to be kept in the dark regarding their own dire financial situation. No matter how you slice the data, it reveals an absolute parallel to the situation during the Great Depression. There are 251 million Americans of working age and only 149 million are employed, of which 20 million are part-time and 8 million are self employed. Only 59% of working age Americans actually work. The BLS has the cajones to declare that only 157 million of the 251 million working age Americans are actually in the labor force.

This outrageous assumption flies in the face of all reasonableness, facts, and truth. In 1937, even with women not working outside the home and very few people living past 65 years old, the participation rate was 75%. Today, with the majority of women capable and willing to work and older Americans working well into their 60s, the BLS actually expects a critical thinking person to believe the participation rate is only 62.4%, the lowest since 1977. It’s a pure and simple despicable lie. The true participation rate should exceed the rate in 1937, based on the facts. Using the 75% participation rate today, yields a true unemployment rate of 21%, not the preposterous 5.1% shoveled by the bullshit artists at the BLS. The 21% rate ties very closely to the figure arrived at by John Williams at Shadowstats. An unbiased assessment of the facts reveals unemployment numbers and people on government assistance numbers that match or exceed those of the Great Depression.”

“From showing off her fun side on Saturday Night Live, to attacking Republicans over their Benghazi obsession, to gearing up for a potential primary fight against Joe Biden, everything Hillary Clinton has done in recent days suggests that she’s ready to go on the offensive and move past the issues that plagued the first six months of her campaign. But her email scandal worsened again on Tuesday (with some help from Republicans). McClatchy reported that a second IT firm was involved in managing Clinton’s private email server when she was secretary of state. With Clinton’s authorization, Datto Inc. has agreed to give the FBI any information is has relating to her account, which could mean investigators will have another way to obtain the tens of thousands of ostensibly personal emails that Clinton’s team deleted.

The FBI is trying to determine whether classified information was improperly transmitted using Clinton’s private server. In August Clinton and Platte River Networks, the company she hired in 2013 to manage the server, turned the device over to the FBI. A source claimed last month that the FBI managed to recover many of the emails, though the server was initially said to be “wiped.”

Senator Ron Johnson, the Republican chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, revealed Datto Inc,’s involvement on Tuesday when he sent the Connecticut-based firm a letter asking it to explain how Clinton’s emails were handled, and to turn over any messages still found in its systems. Some time in 2013, Datto was hired to back up Clinton’s email to an on-site device, so there would be another server if the one controlled by Platte River Networks failed. But according to Politico, in August Platte River employees realized that Clinton’s emails were syncing to Datto’s cloud server as well, though Platte River spokesman Andy Boian said that was not in the contract and “violated the exact instruction we gave them.”

When Datto confirmed via email that Clinton’s files were syncing to its servers, a Platte River employee replied, “This is a problem.” Johnson said that at that point Platte River “directed Datto to not delete the saved data and worked with Datto to find a way to move the saved information … back to Secretary Clinton’s private server.”

Platte River had directed Datto to keep Clinton’s emails for 60 days, but Johnson claims that in late 2014 and 2015 – around the time the State Department asked for Clinton’s work-related emails – one of her staffers asked the firm to have Datto save only 30 days worth of emails. The senator’s letter cited an email in which one Platt River employee speculated “this whole thing really is covering up some shaddy (sic) shit.” That employee also asked coworkers to find the reduction request from the Clinton team. “If we have it in writing that they told us to cut the backups,” they wrote, “and that we can go public with our statement saying we have had backups since day one, then we were told to trim to 30 days, it would make us look a WHOLE LOT better.”

Platte River’s Boian told the Washington Post that despite the employee’s private speculation, the company does not think any “shaddy shit” – or rather a coverup – took place. It’s also worth noting that this information comes to us via a GOP senator a day after Clinton released an ad attacking congressional Republicans. But that wasn’t the only development in Clinton’s email saga. On Tuesday court documents revealed the State Department recently sent Clinton’s lawyer a request for any emails she may have failed to turn over, and lawyers with the conservative group Judicial Watch urged a federal judge to order Undersecretary for Management Patrick Kennedy to tell the court who authorized Clinton’s private email server.”

“BOB STRAUSS…..thanks for the 1:32pm post !

I just read the complete story that you posted there…..and it is everything many suspected shortly after the shooting at that small college in Oregon…

I told myself that time will expose exactly who, and what the shooter was….
and apparently it has…. in a very unique way !

I also found out Roseberg, Oregon was the birthplace of one of the three American hero’s who saved a train full of people in Paris from being slaughtered by an armed Islamic terrorist with an automatic rifle…..for their actions, they were awarded the highest medal for heroism given by the nation of France…..Obama was reluctant to even recognize the three hero’s but eventually had his Secretary of Defense award them a ‘”Soldier’s medal”,,,this is not a very high award and can be given for almost anything.

Here is the criteria for that award……..
“The Soldier’s Medal is an individual decoration of the United States Army. It was introduced as Section 11 of the Air Corps Act, passed by the Congress of the United States on July 2, 1926.[1][2] The criteria for the medal are: “The Soldier’s Medal is awarded to any person of the Armed Forces of the United States, or of a friendly foreign nation who, while serving in any capacity with the Army of the United States distinguished himself or herself by heroism not involving actual conflict with an enemy.”

Please note the award is given for heroism NOT INVOLVING ACTUAL CONFLICT WITH AN ENEMY”……Once again, Obama refuses to recognize that an ISLAMIC TERRORIST is not our enemy….the award of this lowest medal for heroism denotes his denial of an “Islamic terrorist” as our enemy….but that is not the purpose of this post….

When I found out one of those hero’s was from Roseberg, Oregon ‘bells went off in my head’ and I put two and 2 together and in my way of thinking, I figured the College Shooter was only carrying out what the Train Shooter in Paris failed to do…. that was to “kill Christians” …..remember the college shooter was asking his victims what religion they were. At that time, I did not know the shooter was half black and I did not know he was on an Islamic terrorist list that the Russian government had.

The article you posted at 1:32pm showing Mercer to be a half/black Islamic terrorist suspect only leads credit to my theory…and when Obama was so quick to go on television with his false assertions, I knew there had to be more to this story than I then knew at that time….or was being put into the public

If Russia had a list of known Islamic terrorist with Cris Harper-Mercer’s name on it,….. and if Putin offered to give this list to Obama 12 days PRIOR to the shooting but Obama refused to take it……then Obama should be held as an accessory to those killings…..

This information you posted at 1:32pm must get out into the public…and Obama must be held accountable for not taking the list as offered by Putin….but deep down in my heart, I know he won’t and the truth of the matter will never get out……..”

Citizen Wells has been warning you for many months about the decimation of white American, native born, jobs under Obama.

We have been constantly bombarded, in Orwellian, “1984” fashion about all the jobs created and strengthening economy.

Even the mainstream media cannot prop up the latest numbers.

And now we have another problem that cannot be ignored. And it will become a self fulfilling prophecy. Further affecting consumer spending.

How would you feel if the company that just laid you off said it was spending millions of dollars, or even billions, to buy back its stock?

At least you wouldn’t feel lonely.

U.S. companies announced 205,759 job cuts during the third quarter, the most since the third quarter of 2009, just after the Great Recession, according to data provided by outplacement company Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc. In September, the number of announced job cuts was nearly double what it was at the same time last year.

On Friday, the Labor Department released a stinker of a September jobs report.

At the same time, share repurchases announced by U.S. companies during the third quarter remains around the highest levels in at least the last decade, according to data provider Dealogic Ltd. In September, companies authorized buybacks totaling $243.4 billion, more than seven times the amount announced in the same month a year ago, Dealogic said.

One might think these corporate actions are mutually exclusive, but as the chart above shows, many companies are doing both. In fact, some companies have even announced job cuts and share buybacks in the same news release.”

“Industry expects said that often times, money used for stock buybacks comes from retained earnings—saved from the past—while layoffs reflect concerns about the future outlook for growth. When times are tough, however, it’s a different story.

“Whenever a company is laying off employees, something is not going the way it wanted it to,” said Dr. Michael McDonald, a professor at Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business, in a phone interview with MarketWatch.

When a company is buying back stock and laying people off as its share price is falling, it could be viewed as “defensive” move, he said.”

And Wall Street is practically now admitting it, and the Federal Reserve, by saying, “Well, I guess we can cease all this talk about raising interest rates.” There have been a lot of people seemingly waiting for interest rates to be raised by the Fed, because that would mean, wow, the economy is really exploding. Except it isn’t, it hasn’t even been close. We’re now over 94 million Americans not working. The labor force participation rate is nearing an all-time low in this country.”

Now, the jobs numbers this month are like 60,000 below analysts’, experts’ expectations or whatever.

But the fact of the matter is that month to month it’s been a game of the media working with jaundiced numbers provided by the government. The overall truth is there hasn’t been any economic recovery. The evidence is everywhere. Millennials can’t find jobs, Millennials, college graduates, can’t find careers. More and more people are living at home. The job market’s being flooded with illegal immigrants, which is depressing wages. I mean, there’s not one decent economic sign out there.”

The US Labor Department will come out with the September “jobs” report this morning. Once again the mainstream media including Fox and even Zero Hedge will blindly follow the cues about the mythical jobs that were created last month.

We know that most of the jobs created under Obama are part time, low paying jobs and this correlates well with the growth in Hispanic employment which correlates with the influx of illegal immigrants.

Why did no one, aside from Citizen Well,s report the over 130,000 drop in white employment in the first 6 months of 2015 and the decimation of white employment since Obama took office?

I got this data from the US Labor Dept.

People employed by ethnicity. Not mythical jobs.

There was an increase in 23,000 white American employment in August.

Getting lost in the weeds, therefore, of monthly unemployment rates is a waste of time. After having lost 8+ million jobs from the top of the last expansion, nitpicking one’s way through the additions, revisions, and changes to the presumed size of the work force misses the point. And that’s this: any month in which the US does not create at least 125,000 jobs, from a systemic point of view, is negative. It’s less than zero.”

In addition to the 14 million Americans who are officially counted as unemployed (the jobless who are still actively looking for work), there are over 11 million Americans who either want to work but have given up looking, or who are underemployed in the sense that they are working part time because full-time work is unavailable. These additional workers are less visible but are undoubtedly victims of the recent recession.”

“The Hamilton Project explores the monthly “job gap” based on the employment numbers—or the number of jobs the economy needs in order to return to return to pre-recession employment levels while absorbing the 125,000 people who enter the labor force each month.

The annual revision to the historical payroll numbers released with the January report paint an even starker picture for the job gap this month, increasing it to 12.4 million jobs.

As ECRI notes, the sustained decline in the official jobless rate – now approaching the Fed’s estimate of “full employment” – is a misleading indicator of labor market slack. The data shows that the so-called jobs recovery has been spearheaded by cheap labor, with job gains going disproportionately to the least educated — and lowest-paid — workers.

Indeed, the stagnation in nominal wage growth is consistent with the weakness in the employment/population (E/P) ratio. That said, even the E/P ratio may be overstating the health of the jobs market.

After dropping to three-decade lows in the wake of the Great Recession, the E/P ratio, has barely improved since the fall of 2013, reversing only about one-fifth of its decline from its pre-recession highs.””

“State Dept. Calls 3 of Hillary Clinton’s Emails ‘Secret’ After Reviewing 6,300 Pages

Three emails sent to Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2011 when she was secretary of state contained information that should have been considered “secret,” the government’s second-highest classification, according to a State Department review of about 6,300 pages of her emails made public on Wednesday.

In one case, officials have deemed the email secret because aides to Mrs. Clinton attached a document containing the minutes of secret negotiations in 2008 between Israelis and Palestinians that had been posted online by the Al Jazeera television network.

In another instance, two emails sent to Mrs. Clinton contained summaries of confidential discussions among officials of six world powers about Iran’s nuclear program. The emails, sent by Jake Sullivan, one of Mrs. Clinton’s top advisers at the State Department, have now been marked secret by the department.

Among the emails released Wednesday were five that appear to be attempts by hackers to penetrate Mrs. Clinton’s email system. The messages appear to be notices of speeding tickets from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. But the emails are well known as phishing attempts by hackers in Russia. It is not clear whether Mrs. Clinton clicked on the malware-infected messages.”

“Mrs. Clinton’s emails also show her private frustration over her interactions with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel as she pressed his government in early 2010 to make concessions the United States believed were critical to move toward a peace settlement.

“FYI. Israelis spinning up a storm, starting with plane briefing on the way over,” an aide to Mrs. Clinton wrote to her, noting that one reporter at the briefing said the Israelis “sounded a bit cocky.”

“They always sound cocky — in the air or on the ground,” Mrs. Clinton wrote back, to Mr. Sullivan.”

“House Republicans Start the Search for a Leader and a Message in 2016

House Republicans on Tuesday began in earnest the search for their new leadership team, as well as for some direction for themselves, less than a week after Speaker John A. Boehner announced his surprise resignation.

Lawmakers met in the basement of the Capitol to essentially share their feelings about the conflict within their conference, and the entire party, over the agenda and message that Republicans should carry into a presidential election year in which several Senate seats are also in play. Without Mr. Boehner present, Republicans did not spend much time pondering who might replace him, instead taking turns articulating what the House should focus on.

“It was respectful and reflective,” said Representative Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska, who came with his own four pillars of suggestion, including legislation supporting “economic populism” and “social conservatism.”

Representative Kevin McCarthy of California appears to have the momentum to become the next speaker, but the race for his current job, majority leader, has been thrown into some chaos. The only potential female candidate for the post, Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington, has withdrawn from consideration, and a grass-roots effort to persuade Representative Trey Gowdy of South Carolina to step into the race started, and ended, on Tuesday.

Representative Jason Chaffetz of Utah, the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, was among those pushing a promotion for Mr. Gowdy, who oversees a committee that is looking into the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, and into Hillary Rodham Clinton’s email use — one of the longest-running congressional investigations in history.

Mr. Gowdy insisted that he was not interested, but Mr. Chaffetz told reporters he rejected that notion. “If the conference rallies behind him, I think he would reluctantly serve,” Mr. Chaffetz said.”
