The following data comes straight from the US Labor Department for March 2017..

Look it up for yourself!

472,000 more employed.

Unemployed dropped 326,000.

Unemployment rate dropped .2%.

Employed to population ratio up .1%.

White employment up 440,000.

And 98,000 jobs were added???

They must be using Common Core Math.

From the US Labor Dept.

“THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION — MARCH 2017

The unemployment rate declined to 4.5 percent in March, and total nonfarm payroll employment edged up by 98,000, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Employment increased in professional and business services
and in mining, while retail trade lost jobs.

Household Survey Data

The unemployment rate decreased by 0.2 percentage point to 4.5 percent in March, and the number of unemployed persons declined by 326,000 to 7.2 million. Both measures were down over the year. (See table A-1.)

Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult women (4.0 percent), Whites (3.9 percent), and Hispanics (5.1 percent) declined in March. The jobless rates for adult men (4.3 percent), teenagers (13.7 percent), Blacks (8.0 percent), and Asians (3.3 percent) showed little or no change. (See tables A-1, A-2, and A-3.)

In March, the number of persons unemployed less than 5 weeks declined by 232,000 to 2.3 million. The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks or more) was little changed over the month at 1.7 million and
accounted for 23.3 percent of the unemployed. Over the past 12 months, the number of long-term unemployed was down by 526,000. (See table A-12.)

The labor force participation rate remained at 63.0 percent in March, and the employment-population ratio, at 60.1 percent, changed little. The employment-population ratio has edged up over the year, while the labor force
participation rate has shown no clear trend. (See table A-1.)

The number of persons employed part time for economic reasons (sometimes referred to as involuntary part-time workers), at 5.6 million, was little changed in March but was down by 567,000 over the year. These individuals, who would have preferred full-time employment, were working part time because their hours had been cut back or because they were unable to find full-time jobs. (See table A-8.)

In March, 1.6 million persons were marginally attached to the labor force, little changed from a year earlier. (The data are not seasonally adjusted.) These individuals were not in the labor force, wanted and were available for work, and had looked for a job sometime in the prior 12 months. They were not counted as unemployed because they had not searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding the survey. (See table A-16.)

Among the marginally attached, there were 460,000 discouraged workers in March, down by 125,000 from a year earlier. (The data are not seasonally adjusted.) Discouraged workers are persons not currently looking for work
because they believe no jobs are available for them. The remaining 1.1 million persons marginally attached to the labor force in March had not searched for work for reasons such as school attendance or family responsibilities.
(See table A-16.)”

Citizen Wells began warning you in 2008. The signs were all around. Obama and the Obama camp were spewing lies, Orwellian lies and the masses were entranced, captivated, brainwashed.

Obama’s promises of jobs, improved and cheaper healthcare, all lies.

And the lies continue and the Obama Ministry of Truth, the mainstream media keeps helping him.

From WhiteHouse.gov, aka Big Brother, February 5, 2016.

“Summary:
In January, the unemployment rate fell below 5 percent for the first time in eight years as the longest streak of private-sector job growth on record continued.”

https://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2016/02/05/employment-situation-january

From Obama, the liar in chief, February 5, 2016.

“THE PRESIDENT:  TGIF, everybody.  I wanted to stop by, because as you’re aware by now, America’s businesses created another 158,000 jobs last month.  After reaching 10 percent in 2009, the unemployment rate has now fallen to 4.9 percent — even as more Americans joined the job market last month.  So this is the first time that the unemployment rate has dipped below 5 percent in almost eight years.  Americans are working.

All told, over the past six years, our businesses have added 14 million new jobs.  Seventy-one straight months of private-sector job growth extends the longest streak on record.  Over the past two years, 2014 and 2015, our businesses added more jobs than any time since the 1990s.”

NOT IF YOU ARE A WHITE AMERICAN!

From the US Labor Dept.:

From January 2009 to January 2016.

Civilian noninstitutional population (potential employees)

White:  1,459,000 decrease.

Hispanic:   7,798,000  increase.

Labor force participation rate

White: 3.2 % decrease.

Hispanic: 2.1 % decrease.

Employed

White:  2,166,000 increase.

Hispanic: 5,099,000  increase.

Not in labor force

White: 8,873,000 increase.

Hispanic: 3,361,000 increase.

Square these numbers with what Obama, the White House and the mainstream media are telling you.

Now you can understand why over 30 percent of millennials live with family members and hunger is rampant in this country.

Don’t take my word for it, go straight to the US Labor Dept. website and look for yourself.

Why haven’t you heard this?

The mainstream media is still protecting Obama and the Democrat presidential candidates.

So, the unemployment rate is 4.9% ???

Here is one of the reasons why.

The White American labor force plummeted 1.5 million under Obama.

Under George Bush, the White American labor force rose 6 million.

There has been the expected net growth in White Americans of employment age, millions.

But they are not getting jobs.

A high percentage of the over 30 % of millennials living with family members are white.

Donald Trump, you should be shouting this from the rooftops.

From Citizen Wells September 4, 2015.

Regardless of the unemployment rate and jobs data provided by the US Labor Department this morning, September 4, 2015, the real employment situation can also be found in their data.

I found this article by Business Insider from February 10, 2011.

“No One Looking At This Chart Could Possibly Call It A Recovery”

“Currently the problem in the US jobs market mainly lies with, what I call, the maintenance rate. This is the minimum monthly job creation rate that our enormous system–our economy and government with its revenues and liabilities–must have in order to maintain itself as population grows. Getting lost in the weeds, therefore, of monthly unemployment rates is a waste of time. After having lost 8+ million jobs from the top of the last expansion, nitpicking one’s way through the additions, revisions, and changes to the presumed size of the work force misses the point. And that’s this: any month in which the US does not create at least 125,000 jobs, from a systemic point of view, is negative. It’s less than zero.”

“Now you know why annual government budgets have blown out into the the trillions: the economic flows normally provided by a functioning economy are now provided through unemployment checks, food stamps, FDR style spending and other distributions. In short, the “economy” cannot be experiencing a recovery when, after 10 years of population growth and growth in future liabilities, the number of people employed is hovering around levels last seen in 2002-2004. Whether you chose to look at just Non-Farm Employment, or Total Employment, the US Labor Market is essentially flat-lining since a deep trough was reached in late 2009, early 2010.

Those who would make sweeping claims about a recovery in the entire economy should place these two charts shown here in their printed columns, along with the fact that the US population has grown by over 25 million people since the year 2000.”

Market Watch new reports suggest October jobs blowout is an outlier, Outliar (outright liar) more accurate, Over 1.8 million jobs added since January but 74k fewer white Americans employed

“In today’s labor market, there are nearly 1 million “missing” young workers—potential workers who are neither employed nor actively seeking work (and are thus not counted in the unemployment rate) because job opportunities remain so scarce. If these missing workers were in the labor market looking for work, the unemployment rate of workers under age 25 would be 18.1 percent instead of 14.5 percent.”…Economic Policy Institute May 1, 2014

From Market Watch November 9, 2015.

“New reports suggest October jobs blowout is an outlier

The surprisingly large 271,000 increase in U.S. jobs in October is likely to prove an exception and not the new normal, according to a fresh pair of employment indicators.

The Federal Reserve’s gauge of labor-market health and a privately run employment trends index suggest the economy will continue to spit out a steady number of new jobs. Just not at October’s heady pace.

The Fed’s labor index rose to 1.6 in October from 1.3 in September, remaining in positive territory for the 6th straight month.

The index is averaging a much lower 1.5 in 2015, however, compared to 5.4 in 2014, when job growth was considerably stronger. The U.S. has added an average of 206,000 jobs a month this year vs a 15-year high of 260,000 in 2014.”

“So what’s it all mean? The pace of job creation in the near future will probably be closer to 200,000 a month instead of 250,000 to 300,000.”

Outlier?

More like Outliar (outright liar).

The US labor Department has reported jobs added since January 2015 of over 1.8 million.

It also reveals a drop of 74,000 white American employments over the same period.

Are you getting this from the mainstream media?

October Labor Dept jobs lies continue, Jobs vs people employed, 74K fewer white Americans employed in 2015, Hispanics gained 130K employments in October, ADP report show 182K jobs added in Oct, Orwellian lies continue

From the US Labor Department November 6, 2015.

“THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION — OCTOBER 2015

Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 271,000 in October, and the
unemployment rate was essentially unchanged at 5.0 percent, the U.S. Bureau
of Labor Statistics reported today. Job gains occurred in professional and
business services, health care, retail trade, food services and drinking
places, and construction.”

“The civilian labor force participation rate was unchanged at 62.4 percent in
October, following a decline of 0.2 percentage point in September. The employment-
population ratio, at 59.3 percent, changed little in October and has shown
little movement over the past year. (See table A-1.)”

http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htm

ADP reported 182,000 jobs added in October.

Who can you trust?

You can trust Citizen Wells to report the facts.

You can also trust your eyes by simply going to the US Labor Department website and looking at the historical tables.

Look at the numbers employed by race for 2015 and for the change from September to October.

These are people employed, not mythical jobs.

You will find:

From January 2015 to October, there were 74,000 fewer white Americans employed.

For one month, there were 130,000 more Hispanics employed

How does this match up with the euphoria already happening in the mainstream media and financial markets.

White employment down 267K in 2015, 142K “jobs” added, Participation rate plummets to Oct 1977 level, Americans not in labor force at record 94.6 million, August jobs revised down 37K to 136K

“We are being lied to on a scale unimaginable by George Orwell.”…Citizen Wells

Citizen Wells has been warning you for many months.

The employment situation, despite the best efforts of the White House and mainstream to lie to you, is bad and getting worse.

White Americans, who still compose approx. two thirds of the working age population, have been decimated in employment under Obama.

White employment fell 135,000 in September.

White employment fell 267,000 since January.

The labor force participation rate fell to 62.4 percent the lowest since 1977.

A record 94.6 million Americans are not in the labor force.

A meager 142,000 “jobs” were created in September.

August “jobs” were revised downward 37,000 to 136,000.

We are closer to being in a depression that the recession we have been in.

“But actually, he thought as he re-adjusted the Ministry of Plenty’s figures, it was not even forgery. It was merely the substitution of one piece of nonsense for another. Most of the material that you were dealing with had no connexion with anything in the real world, not even the kind of connexion that is contained in a direct lie. Statistics were just as much a fantasy in their original version as in their rectified version. A great deal of the time you were expected to make them up out of your head. For example, the Ministry of Plenty’s forecast had estimated the output of boots for the quarter at one-hundred-and-forty-five million pairs. The actual output was given as sixty-two millions. Winston, however, in rewriting the forecast, marked the figure down to fifty-seven millions, so as to allow for the usual claim that the quota had been overfulfilled. In any case, sixty-two millions was no nearer the truth than fifty-seven millions, or than one-hundred-and-forty-five millions. Very likely no boots had been produced at all. Likelier still, nobody knew how many had been produced, much less cared. All one knew was that every quarter astronomical numbers of boots were produced on paper, while perhaps half the population of Oceania went barefoot. And so it was with every class of recorded fact, great or small. Everything faded away into a shadow-world in which, finally, even the date of the year had become uncertain.”…George Orwell “1984″

“We are being lied to on a scale unimaginable by George Orwell.”…Citizen Wells

Why are the financial markets reacting to flawed monthly data from the US Labor Dept. instead of employment trends over several or more months from the same source?

Why is the media, including conservative media, regurgitating the monthly fictional jobs data as if it were the gospel truth?

Where are Donald Trump, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and others on this Orwellian misportrayal of reality?

Most of us paying attention know that the monthly jobs data from the US Labor Dept. does not reflect reality.

We know this from the enormous numbers of people who have dropped out of the labor force, economic indicators and hunger around us.

We also know this because of the record number of millenials and other age groups who have been forced to live with family and friends.

Let’s examine the latest jobs report.

“Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 215,000 in July, and the unemployment rate was unchanged at 5.3 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.”

http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htm

For the rest of the data we will access the same US Labor Dept. Historical tables.

Change from June to July:

Total employed + 101,000

White – 62,000 (you read that right, minus)

Black + 33,000

Asian + 21,000

Hispanic – 27,000

See anything wrong with that?

215,000 jobs added???

It gets worse.

Change from January to July:

Regardless of which revision to the monthly jobs report that you use, if you add up the mythical jobs added from February to July 2015 you get well over 1.2 million.

How does this square with the employment changes from the US Labor Dept?

Total employed + 639,000

White – 155,000 (you read that right, minus)

Black + 463,000

Asian + 211,000

Hispanic + 69,000

See any problems there?

The financial markets, the Fed are making decisions based on the flawed monthly data and it keeps getting reported.

People on this site often ask what can I do.

My answer: help get the word out, help counteract the Orwellian lies we are constantly being bombarded with.

From the US Labor Department on how they conjure up these numbers.

“1. Why are there two monthly measures of employment?

The household survey and establishment survey both produce sample-based estimates of employment, and both have strengths and limitations. The establishment survey employment series has a smaller margin of error on the measurement of month-to-month change than the household survey because of its much larger sample size. An over-the-month employment change of about
100,000 is statistically significant in the establishment survey, while the threshold for a statistically significant change in the household survey is about 400,000. However, the household survey has a more expansive scope than the establishment survey because it includes self-employed workers whose businesses are unincorporated, unpaid family workers, agricultural workers, and private household workers, who are excluded by the establishment survey. The household survey also provides estimates of employment for demographic groups.”

“5. Does the establishment survey account for employment from new businesses?

Yes; monthly establishment survey estimates include an adjustment to account for the net employment change generated by business births and deaths. The adjustment comes from an econometric model that forecasts the monthly net jobs impact of business births and deaths based on the actual past values of the net impact that can be observed with a lag from the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages. The establishment survey uses modeling rather than sampling for this purpose because the survey is not immediately able to bring new businesses into the sample. There is an unavoidable lag between the birth of a new firm and its appearance on the sampling frame and availability for selection. BLS adds new businesses to the survey twice a year.”

“Reliability of the estimates

Statistics based on the household and establishment
surveys are subject to both sampling and nonsampling error.
When a sample, rather than the entire population, is
surveyed, there is a chance that the sample estimates may
differ from the true population values they represent. The
component of this difference that occurs because samples
differ by chance is known as sampling error, and its
variability is measured by the standard error of the estimate.
There is about a 90-percent chance, or level of confidence,
that an estimate based on a sample will differ by no more
than 1.6 standard errors from the true population value
because of sampling error. BLS analyses are generally
conducted at the 90-percent level of confidence.

For example, the confidence interval for the monthly
change in total nonfarm employment from the establishment
survey is on the order of plus or minus 105,000. Suppose the
estimate of nonfarm employment increases by 50,000 from
one month to the next. The 90-percent confidence interval on
the monthly change would range from -55,000 to +155,000
(50,000 +/- 105,000). These figures do not mean that the
sample results are off by these magnitudes, but rather that
there is about a 90-percent chance that the true over-themonth
change lies within this interval. Since this range
includes values of less than zero, we could not say with
confidence that nonfarm employment had, in fact, increased
that month. If, however, the reported nonfarm employment
rise was 250,000, then all of the values within the 90-percent
confidence interval would be greater than zero. In this case,
it is likely (at least a 90-percent chance) that nonfarm
employment had, in fact, risen that month. At an
unemployment rate of around 6.0 percent, the 90-percent
confidence interval for the monthly change in unemployment
as measured by the household survey is about +/- 300,000,
and for the monthly change in the unemployment rate it is
about +/- 0.2 percentage point.”
