We have questioned the arrest of Blagojevich happening in December 2008, after the election. There are more questions to be asked and answered. Why was the Tony Rezko trial in 2008 and not earlier?

Some of the comments here sound a little pessimistic – Last night from 8PM EST till 2AM I watched a trilogy of Abraham Lincoln movies as listed on TCM. I don’t care how many times I have seen these movies I never cease to recharge my batteries of love for this great man.
I hope we ALL can gather around the Lincoln Memorial in August in Washington. If there ever was anyone to revive our spirit of determination to save this countery, he is OUR MAN.

CW-I like all views, the reason being here in FL between local and national we are getting NO NEWS re: Gulf Oil Spill, we see more of the BP commercials than we see of any news. BP that’s not nice, and you play them so often we have them memorized. On the one hand people might get the idea that the GULF states are submerged in oil, but that is not the case. The state of FL is offering some very good deals, if anyone desires to go on vacation. The city that you may plan to visit will advise you of beach conditions, I’m sure all the other states affected will do as well.
I have many questions: are they using the 6 week microbes for oil remediation, Kevin Costner’s brothers invention, how is the A Whale doing, and many more? We in the Gulf are just up in the air. Do people think the $20 billion just made everything go away? Sounds like a lot of money, but lots of folks are affected, we don’t know at this point if is it enough. I don’t think many people are aware at this late date that Obama turned away help from many countries which could have alleviated much of this mess. Don’t forget these are very popular destinations for people all around the world, especially Europeans-and they love birds and fishes, when the Obama stupid response comes out this is not going to make people happy. That goodness for outspoken Billy he is our only source of any news.

Here are some reasons that come to mind.
The darkness doesn’t like the light. Jesus is the Light that shows up the deeds of darkness.
The authority of Jesus defeats those government minions and all their plans.
Without the ‘salt and light’ of Jesus, the world is theirs to control and destroy as they will.
Jesus is about life and blessing and joy and goodness. They are about death and dominance and destruction.
Jesus loves humankind. They hate humanity (created in His image and likeness) and revel in leveling everyone (but themselves) to the status of slaves and puppets to mock God’s love for us.
Jesus is Lord and they want to be lords of the earth instead.
