“Kelly dies of possible overdose
Authorities say death may be suicide but are investigating it as homicide”
“Kelly, 51, who was to report to federal prison officials this week to start serving an 8-year sentence, died Saturday at Stroger Hospital in what authorities said was a possible suicide from an over-the-counter medication. An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday, and police in Chicago and south suburban Country Club Hills are conducting a death investigation.
Kelly’s death ended a tumultuous year in his life. He twice pleaded guilty to federal charges. He was estranged from his wife. And he faced serious financial problems, partly due to gambling debts. But Kelly indicated he was not going to turn on Blagojevich despite pressure from prosecutors.”
“A street-smart businessman who used connections and savvy to make millions, Kelly parlayed his wealth into power before becoming a member of Blagojevich’s “kitchen cabinet” of advisers. He had been at the former governor’s side through much of his political life since he ran for governor.”
“The Cook County medical examiner’s office said Stroger Hospital officials told them that Kelly apparently died of an overintoxication of salicylate, a drug used in anti-inflammatory and pain relief medications such as aspirin.
Authorities said Kelly was in his 2007 Cadillac Escalade in the parking lot of a lumber yard at 173rd Street and Cicero Avenue in Country Club Hills — a few miles from his Markham office — Friday night when he began vomiting. Sources said a girlfriend of Kelly’s drove him to nearby Oak Forest Hospital of Cook County. The Escalade remained there Saturday afternoon, guarded by police.
A hospital spokesman said Kelly arrived at 11:15 p.m. and was treated and stabilized. But doctors determined he needed more care and transferred him to Stroger Hospital in Chicago, about 25 miles away.
Kelly arrived at Stroger by private ambulance at 5:15 a.m., hospital spokesman Marcel Bright said. Kelly was treated for several hours but pronounced dead at 10:46 a.m., Bright said.
Investigators were still at the empty Forest Lumber yard Saturday night as they looked for evidence. The remote spot, opposite insect-filled cornfields near Interstate Highways 57 and 80, was taped off as officers used flashlights to search on hands and knees.
Country Club Hills Mayor Dwight Welch said detectives were looking for cigarette butts or anything else that might be traced to potential witnesses.
Welch said authorities are investigating whether Kelly overdosed, possibly on over-the-counter medicines. The mayor also said Kelly vomited in the lumber yard’s parking lot.
Oak Forest Hospital officials alerted authorities of Kelly’s whereabouts about 3 a.m., Welch said.
“We are treating this as a death investigation — it’s a possible homicide or suicide, but it’s a high-profile case so we have a homicide level investigation,” Welch said.”
“Kelly made millions as a south suburban roofing contractor who secured million-dollar deals at O’Hare International Airport, Midway Airport and other city agencies. A roofing firm Kelly oversaw, BCI Commercial Roofing, along with an affiliated company, Castle Construction, were paid $7.6 million for work at O’Hare and Midway between 1999 and 2004.”

Kelly must have been a “liability” for someone or he would not have made his exit from this world in the manner in which he did IMHO. Seems that his death by this manner could have easily been procured by someone exchanging his aspirin pills for pills that were pure salicylate…untraceable…its always the clever method of murder…after death, get rid of traces of meds…no evidence…

just that phrase reminded me of something that happened to me personally in Chicago.
I had to stop by a job-construction with a boyfriend. While we were standing there talking a guy he knew-older than he was, who was definitely Mob. I don’t know how we got into this coversation but I remember the older man saying something to the effect “if they don’t let me do that referring to something to do with construction or land ownership I’ll just get a black partner and scream discrimination”. They always have an angle some of them. This is why I continue to believe among all of Obama’s other troubles is that he is “mobbed-up”.

It is even hard for me as a suburbanite to describe inner city Chicago. I have cousins who lived there. Chicago is divided into wards, I see them as city blocks. It is so weird-you could be in the nicest, well kept neighborhoods, walk across the street and you are in the most crime ridden really scary place you ever saw. Obama’s constituency but NOT where he lived. This would shock me too. I’m sure you have seen this in other cities as well. Rich-abutted right next to ghetto-the thing I never understood where is the middle???.Everyone has heard of South Beach down here I’m sure. That was due to Mr. Goldman (?) I think that was his name. He was stuck in Miami due to waiting for plane back to New York-he sees this ghetto, crime ridden area, but saw the potential for this property. He went back to New York quietly purchased the entire city block-boarded up everything-got rid of the criminal element revamped that one city block—I love love love the architecture-the beautiful restoration work the guys did. From that first city block South Beach grew block by block to what it is today, just a super fun area.
Mr. Goldman did it right. That’s how community reinvestment should be done-to be a success NO POLITICANS ALLOWED.

I’m not sure about the relevant South Carolina statutes, but it would seem to me that such a certification would not hold up in any court if challenged.
And what documentation or other evidence did they use to verify this claim?
It appears that the Democratic Party of S. Carolina has some explaining to do – if anyone in that state should raise the issue, of course.

As for Christopher Kelly, in all probability he was silenced by some of the CHICAGO hired scum bags. I read earlier that he had ingested over 500 aspirins, along with the container. Does anyone know the physical size of the 500 pill Aspirin container? I do. Because I have seen this size during my visits to see a Navy friend who is now in Geriatric care. The 500 pill size container is approx, 3″in diameter, and about 6 inches high. For a container of this size to be forced into anyones throat would take a GORILLA to accomplish……….Chicage is FULL of look alikes to this species. I would rather think it was a much smaller container. Hopefully the GOONS responsible will be caught, and will hopefully give the arresting officer cause to defend himself, at which point I would see to it that each GOON recieved a 1000 pill Aspirin container jammed up their ANUSES, and driven with a 5lb.sledge hammer.

we had a hearing on 11th. Defendants were represented by 3 attorneys: US attorney, Pentagon attorney and Fort Benning attorney. they claimed that my client, flight surgeon Cpt Rhodes MD didn’t show up for no reason, she just didn’t feel like coming.
I presented to the judge a notarized statement, showing that Col Jeffrey Johnson, her commander from Fort Riley, KS has forbidden Connie from leaving Fort Riley a day early and she was threatened that if she does, she will be court martialedand can be thrown into military prison. In this fashion the gov. prevented Connie from being at her own hearing and 5 minutes before the hearing they served me with the motion to dismiss.
Judge Land did not appreciate this strong hand tactic of the government and he ordered the government to make sure Connie is able to leave the base to be at her hearing, which was scheduled for Monday at 12 noon. This time it is their responsibility to do whatever is necessary for Connie to be in court.
It is a tough week for me as in 5 days I am making 5 red eye flights and long trips between OC, LA, Atlanta, Columbus and WA DC.

The Chicago Tribune should be ashamed to report such garbage. The only statements that I see as being truthful is Christopher Kelly’s name and that he’s dead. And who is his girlfriend, does she not have a name, age or address?
We here in Chicagoland need to protest and shut down Oak Forest Hospital if they can not treat an overdose of asprin.
This makes me ANGRY!

maddie-Don’t get mad at people from a certain states, there are good people in every state fighting this corruption-even in Chicago. Obama does not represent at all the clean, decent, hard working folks that live there-every race, every ethnic origin. He just doesn’t.

The best part this entire group will not stop until they find out the truth, nothing but the truth so help us God. During all this joy, look at what we found out about our government. I didn’t know it was this corrupt? I think there is some corruption in everything, but this is way out of control. We as a country are much smarter now.

If a county hospital can’t handle an overdose, then better shut them down. They should be well versed in handling over doses, gun shot wounds, stab wounds, etc.

Mrs Kelly will be ok, it is hard but she will get through it. Seems unfair that so many of the innocent get caught up with the guilty. By stealing my work, CFP and WND have jeopardized the success of the project.
A state Rep. in NH saw their counterfeit ‘work’ and contacted the SoS in NH to look into fraud. (CFP focuses the ‘fraud’ on the differences in Certifications, leaving out that part of my work that points out, the Certifications varied according to state law.) Now, as I have been saying since last summer, no provision of any law, federal or state, requires any state official to check whether the nominee for POTUS from the major political party is Constitutionally eligible for the job. This is the reason that any lawsuit predicated on Mandamus was doomed to fail. That is, the court – judicial branch – will not order the SoS – executive branch – to perform a specific job function unless such function is spelled out in the law – legislative branch. Most state laws also fail to require the nominee to be Constitutionally eligible for the job. In fact, most laws entitle the name of the nominee to appear on the ballot. All the party is required to do is to Certify the name of its nominee, to appropriate state officials. So, as long as the party Certified BO was the D nominee, no fraud occurred with the SoS. Let’s say, the SoS of NH reports, no fraud occurred. A’sG in other states will hear this and figure, no fraud occurred. So, what are these people filing these 4-page complaints of election fraud talking about?
Does this mean, the D’s did not commit election fraud, by Certifying BO was a NBC without first ascertaining whether this is true, in those states that require the candidate to be eligible for the job to be printed on the state ballot? Absolutely not. But, tragically, because of the malfeasance of people associated with CFP and WND, only readers of my blog will ‘get’ that distinction.
Please bombard CFP and any other sites posting what you recognize is my work, with clarifications and links to my site.

Not me—The star is the Constitution-but credit must be given to all the attorneys, researchers, volunteers etc. who never gave up on this issue. But they can only take credit for what they did, not someone else’s hard work.

Representative Rappaport also signed on to be a Plaintiff in one of Orly’s lawsuits. So, CFP goes to him with this pie in the sky proposal, let’s expose BO is not a NBC by charging Certification fraud, based on the fact, the DNC filed 2 (two) different Certifications of Nomination with the states.
No one bothered to find out that each state has its own rules regarding Certifications, including who from the political party must sign and submit such Certification to state elections officials.
The word “fraud” as I am applying it, is in swearing that BO is the nominee before ascertaining whether he is a NBC, to get his name printed on the ballot in a state that only allows eligible candidates on the ballot. This ‘fraud’ has absolutely nothing to do with the wording of the Certification, or who signed it. I only need to know who signed it in order to address the charges of fraud.
I want the SoS completely out of this; the jurisdiction to investigate the fraud we are charging vests only in the AG.
SueK -There is an “honor” code in Chicago, some would rather do prison time or die than rat out their friend Blagojevich in this case.

You are missing the point. Stealing my work is the least of my concerns. The problem is, by stealing the work, CFP and WND and Leo could have undermined its value. The A’sG who get the complaint letter in applicable states will not misinterpret its legal intent.
Charging fraud to S’s o S completely misses the point; but a finding of no fraud could kill the chances of success in the real cases of election fraud.
A’sG will be looking for any excuse not to pursue the cases we are bringing. Do you think the public will get the distinction between a SoS saying, ‘no fraud’ occurred, meaning, the Certifications were delivered in the appropriate manner; and our insistence that election fraud occurred because the party swore BO was eligible for the job printed on the ballot before ascertaining whether he was a NBC?
Michelle: I agree…jbjd should be given credit; I was referring to those who are too lazy to do the work and simply avail themselves of the work of another. The fact that the case could can be compromised through this blatant misrepresentation makes it all the more annoying!
I have visited jbjd’s blog many times and am amazed at how well the information is presented and explained; makes it easier for non-legal people, like me, to understand. When questions are addressed, the answers are concise and to-the-point. I feel awful about this latest development.

THE FRAUD WE ARE PURSUING HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE S’s of S! They have no jurisdiction to investigate what we are alleging in the complaints already filed with the TX AG. Only A’sG can look into this election fraud.
No one working with me is filing charges with the S’s o S. (We are only copying S’s o S as a courtesy, since we mention in our complaint to the AG that the party filed its Certification of Nomination with the SoS, in accordance with the state law. We also copy the state party chair, as he is the person who filed the Certification.)

I read your blog numerous times. What you are missing is that the AG’s usually act on a complaint filed. They have no other reason to investigate until it is warranted. They already have more than enough to keep them busy and would rather avoid this issue altogether.
A request for investigation from any holder of public office will do more thank any one “Joe Blow” doing so. Get a state representative or high ranking official who wants to cover their butt and that will fan the flames to the point the AG’s will be forced to intercede.
If the SoS of New Hampshire feels “duped”, then the AG will be getting a nice phone call in short order.

Yup, I alluded to just that in a previous post. He was due to begin his sentence this coming Friday and rather than do that or be in a population that would lend him to singing like a boid, he took himself out.
I read that even up to his indictments her remained ‘loyal’ to Blago. Odd, isn’t it? If my butt were on the line, I think I’d speak the truth just to save my sorry self; apparently, Kelly chose another route.

JeffM, true to form, you repeat your misinformation. The state Rep. reported the D party perpetrated fraud by submitting faulty Certifications, basing his stupid claims on the fact that, as CFP reported, some D Certifications are different from others. CFP chalks up this difference to fraud, but not to differences in state laws, a fact omitted from their post notwithstanding this is all explained on my blog. The SoS, agreeing to investigate, will conclude, nothing in NH law requires any statement on the Certification other than what was submitted. Her conclusion? No fraud. And she would be absolutely right.
Now, we are filing election fraud complaints with A’sG that say, the D party submitted the Certifications that were required for the SoS to place BO’s name on the ballot. And the SoS did exactly what she was supposed to do, by placing his name on the ballot. In fact, by law, the party nominee is entitled to be on the ballot. However, the law in this state also requires the candidate to be eligible for the job. Now, we have no idea whether BO is eligible for the job; but we have a pretty good idea that based on the documentation in the public domain, as well as admissions by both the candidate and the party, the person signing the Certification on behalf of the party could not have ascertained whether BO is a NBC before signing the Certification submitted to the state.
That is the election fraud; and the job of the AG is to investigate that fraud.

SueK-I couldn’t agree more. This is beyond insulting a persons intelligence. It’s 2 million by the pictures alone. I disagree with Obama on everything but I was involved in civil rights demonstrations when we were young. To me civil rights is for everyone, legal American citizens anyway. Women, Men, minorities, religion. Where did they get the idea that it is just for black people? I know for a fact that before civil rights legislation women did not have equal opportunity under the law. Civil rights legislation gave the women of America that protection. This is how I know it for a fact.
A great real estate deal came up and my Mom wanted to buy a house, as a married woman she could not and my father was too chicken to do it. Off to the bank we went, I had to co-sign for my mom-just her money for the down payment at the time-I was back-up “just in case”. The female loan officer approved the loan, it was rare then, she said the women of America pay all the bills anyway, so she took a chance on us. I would say in the end my Mom quintupled her money. I couldn’t take any profits, because I really didn’t put in any of my own money I was just back-up. By then I had my own deals going on.

Gotcha, Michelle, and I was there, too. Civil rights for all-people of color, the disabled, legal immigrants…everyone. No one is any more entitled than someone else.
I remember those days well. Although I was young, I couldn’t understand why people were discriminated against. We still have a long way to go, but the Obamas, Wrights, Sharptons and their ilk have even further to go.

FYI, no law in NH requires the nominee for POTUS from the major political party to be eligible for the job. So, no election fraud. These people who stole my work have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. But someone associated with these people and who also has ties to that state Rep. from NH, seems more interested in headlines than in results.

You are not reading all of the comments on CW and that’s getting you on the wrong track. It’s not that there is no process for delivering documents in any form to the SoS, it’s that the SoS may have received a fraudulent document as originally intended to be notarized by the notary public in Colorado. If the Notary assumes one document to be signed and DnC slips “another one” in there under the radar during the notarization process, that’s fraud in every state and territory in the U.S., one which the SoS can file a complaint directly to the AG for.

You point to a distinction without a difference. Nothing in the law requires the Certifications to be notarized in the first place. And while technically faulty notary stamps might jeopardize the license of the Notary, fraud related to submitting these Certifications to state elections officials would only vest in that situation if the party could not have obtained places on the ballot without a notarized certification AND if the party could not have otherwise obtained a Notary stamp on those Certifications except through fraud.
