Elie Maloof, Obama, Rezko trial, Blagojevich, Chicago corruption, straw political contribution

Another mention of Obama in the Tony rezko trial. Another mention of Obama in the midst of corruption in Chicago. Former Rezko business associate Elie Maloof made a straw political contribution to Obama on Rezko’s behalf. Here are some exerpts from the trial on April 28, 2008:

“Former Rezko business associate Elie Maloof is testifying about a conversation he had with Rezko in February 2005 after Maloof received a grand jury subpoena. Maloof, who was involved in a Rezko business deal involving pizza franchises that led to a separate criminal case against Rezko, said he went to Rezko’s Wilmette home to tell him about the subpoena.”

“He said Rezko cautioned him to reveal little. The investigation would soon be going away, Maloof said Rezko told him. “The federal prosecutor will no longer be the same federal prosecutor,” Maloof testified that Rezko said. Maloof said Rezko explained “that Patrick Fitzgerald will be terminated and that Dennis Hastert will name his replacement.””

“Maloof said Rezko told him to keep his name out of any grand jury testimony because prosecutors were “going to tie it back to [Illinois Gov. Rod] Blagojevich.””

“According to Maloof, Rezko said the three phones were “just in case somebody’s listening,” a remark Maloof took to mean that Rezko was worried about wiretaps.”

“Before the trial began, prosecutors identified Maloof as one of at least two people who made straw political contributions to candidates on Rezko’s behalf. One of the recipients of Maloof’s money was U.S. Sen. Barack Obama.”

Open Letter to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright: The Ship is Sailing

Dear Rev. Wright:

I am posting this open letter to you, to appeal to you, please DO WHAT JESUS WOULD DO, Tell the truth about Barack Obama.

You and I both know that you did counsel Barack Obama in the fall of 2007 on how to best address my request to him to come clean about his 1999 crack cocaine use.

You and I both know, that even though I never once mentioned the sexual encounters between Barack Obama and myself to his campaign, he did acknowledge said sexual encounters to you and your former Choir Director Donald Young.

You and I both know that Barack Obama and Donald Young had an intimate relationship with each other.

You know that Barack Obama knows who murdered or had Donald Young murdered! And you know why Donald Young was murdered.

Rev. Wright, you claim you are running for Jesus not for votes. So I appeal to you now, DO WHAT JESUS WOULD DO, come forward, be honest, and tell the truth! If you honestly had nothing to do with the planning, assisting, and executing of Mr. Young’s murder, then just come clean with what you know about Baracks involvement as his Pastor. DO WHAT JESUS WOULD DO, and give this man’s family closure and a sense of peace again.

Rev. Wright please allow Barack Obama to be required to answer for his lies, betrayal, and selling of his soul for the sole purpose of winning an election. Come forward about Barack’s confiding in you as to the truthfulness of my allegations against him.

I truly hope you will stop protecting this man; stop allowing this liar and his handlers to abuse, attack and slander those of us who speak the truth about him. Rev. Wright, you have the power to put all of this to rest once and for all by being honest and telling the American People, that Barack Obama admitted to you I am telling the truth about his drug use and sexual encounters with me in 1999.

DO WHAT JESUS WOULD DO!

Obama down low, gay sex rumors, Larry Sinclair, Lessig, Chicago restaurant owner speaks out

There have been many rumors and allegations about Obama doing drugs and being on the down low. Larry Sinclair alleged that he and Obama used drugs and had a gay sex encounter in a limousine in November 1999. A friend of Obama, Lawrence Lessig, was a former University of Chicago associate and is a big Obama supporter and advisor. Lessig is openly gay and has a radical gay agenda. A former Chicago restaurant owner heard persistent rumors about Obama. Here is her story:

As the Chicago-area chef and restaurateur mentioned in this posting, I’ve already provided information to Larry Sinclair’s attorney concerning the several dozen (at least) gay men who spoke with me about Obama’s sexual proclivities (specifically, his being on the “down low,” as they say). I began hearing these rumors in late 2000-early 2001, and continued to hear them until I closed my restaurant and dropped out of civilized society in 2003. These stories were from apparently unrelated sources, and the details in each, when such details were given, were consistent from story to story: always oral sex only, with Obama as the, well, I suppose “recipient” would be as good a word as any. Perhaps Rev. Wright failed to cover Acts 20:35, “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” In any case, the sheer volume of rumors was convincing enough for me… especially once the veracity of claims (some from some of the same men) regarding the similar proclivities of another area politician was subsequently confirmed to me several years later by an old reporter friend in Washington, DC. In my fairly long life experience, I’ve learned that bromides are so hackneyed precisely because they’re true, so… where there’s smoke, there’s generally going to be fire. These rumors seemed authentic to me, and the men telling them seemed quite sincere. Several of them claimed to have beeen with Obama, but most said that they’d learned of it through the firsthand experience of friends and acquaintances.

As for Lessig, he and Obama seem made for each other: two exceedingly pampered elitists clamoring for “genteel” socialism, with the bulk of us, not them, to pay the price. Lessig and Obama both portray themselves as Constitutionalists… in their cases I can only assume that means that they’ve read it and know it, not that they wholeheartedly support it. Personally, I’m so weary of the upending of the Constitution, that “goddamn piece of paper,” as Geo. Bush so, um, eloquently put it. Looking back, I think our founding fathers were quite right: “Government without a Constitution is power without a right” (Thomas Paine); “In Questions of Power, then, Let No More be Heard of Confidence in Man, but Bind him Down from Mischief with the Chains of the Constitution” (Thomas Jefferson).

And let’s not forget Ben Franklin: “I smell a rat.”

My friends in NC and the US. I mentioned that Jeremiah Wright and his sermons were just the tip of the iceberg. I have written about Obama’s associations with criminal elements, ties to the middle east and possible low down activity. There is a consistent theme in Obama’s history. Obama has been close to many gay people (this is not an anti gay message) and those who misuse or attack Christianity. Larry Sinclair has alleged a gay encounter with Obama in November 1999. A Chicago restaurant owner heard consistent rumors from the gay community about Obama.

Lawrence Lessig was an associate of Obama’s at the University of Chicago. Lawrence Lessig considers Obama a friend and has supported Obama on his website and in speaking engagements. Lessig is mentioned on Obama’s site as part of his technology initiative.

Lawrence Lessig is openly gay and has a radical opinion about gay rights. He also has radical ideas about intellectual property rights and government information. What is more disturbing to me is a video he produced and presented at a conference that mocks Jesus and portrays Jesus as Gay. Here is a link to view the videos:

Everyone has been wondering why Jeremiah Wright and Obama have been attacking each other recently. I have been giving this a lot of thought. I certainly believe it is some sort of diversion. Obama is a master of diversions.

I have been reading the comments here, on my blog and elsewhere.
I have also been giving this a lot of thought.
Here is my thought process:
1. Donald Young may have been murdered by a professional hitman.
2. If this is the case, someone will have to talk to progress the case.
3. Let’s suppose Obama and Wright are aware of the murder details.
4. Neither of them will talk for fear of being an accessory.
5. The more Obama progresses, the more scrutiny will occur and the
more we will find out about his and Wright’s past.
6. Is the Obama and Wright controversy a plot to allow him to bow
out as the victim, save face and promote a smoother transition
to supporting Hillary?

I have heard similar thoughts from some of you. My thinking
yesterday was that it was a plot to salvage NC. Now I am more
inclined to believe the victim aspect.

I posted yesterday that it is possible that this whole Obama and Jeremiah Wright feud was planned. Obama’s campaign is in trouble and he must win NC. The Wright sermons and speeches are a huge problem in NC. This scenario allows Obama to be the victim and to further accentuate his alleged position on Wright’s comments.

I am beginning to wonder if this was more orchestrated to allow Obama to bow out as the victim, with Wright as the cause. Everyday new allegations and questions about Obama and his past surface. The LA Times exposed a questionable business and legal relationship with Robert Blackwell in obtaining state grant money. The tony Rezko trial continues and regularly mentions Obama or those he associated with including Rezko, Levine as well as the Iraqi born billionaire Auchli.

There are many people thinking similar thoughts to mine. Why is Obama becoming more vocal now? Why is Wright attacking Obama? Of course the no brainer is the documention that Obama knew about Wright’s sermons at least a year ago. If Obama really has the current opinion of Wright, why did he not speak out earlier when he was condemning Don Imus. Obama and Wright. Two hypocrites and liars.

I would like to hear what you think is going on and what you think will happen.

Obama has elevated his non approval of Wright and his sermons.

Obama, in a speech at the National Press Club in Washington, on Monday, April 28, 2008, distanced himself even more from Jeremiah Wright. Here are some of the remarks made by Obama in reference to Wrights sermons and comments:

“insensitivity and outrageousness”

Obama said he is “outraged” and “saddened” by Wright’s recent comments to the press.

“I have said before and I will repeat again that some of the comments that Reverend Wright has made offend me and I understand why they’ve offended the American people,”

“He does not speak for me. He does not speak for the campaign and so he may make statements in the future that don’t reflect my values or concerns,”

“I think certainly what the last three days indicate is that we’re not coordinating with him.”

Obama has associated with Wright for 20 years. When Don Imus made the “nappy headed hos” comment a year ago, Obama severely chastised Imus, yet Obama knew of Wright’s volatile sermons a least a year ago. Obama criticized Wright earlier this year only when it became politically expedient. Now Obama is in trouble and he finally condemns Wright to attempt to save his campaign.

Obama is revealing his lack of character.

NC primary, Mike Easley, Obama, Governor easley endorses Hillary

Governor Mike Easley has endorsed Hillary Clinton.

I was born and raised in NC and still live in NC.

I have thoroughly researched Barack Obama.

I have never been a Hillary fan but compared to Obama she looks real good.

Obama scares the hell out of me. Obama is the devil I know and the devil I don’t know.

I spoke to people in small towns in the western and eastern part of NC recently. Their biggest concern was Jeremiah Wright and his remark, “God Damn America.” Folks, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

If you are considering voting for Obama, I urge you to do some research. Start with this blog, but also read as much as you can and ask questions. I will be glad to answer your questions.

This election is too important to take lightly. Too important to talk in terms of black, white, Republican or Democrat.

I am asking you as a fellow North Carolinian to make the right choice.

The Los Angeles Times, in an article dated April 27, 2008 reveals
that Obama received a $8,000 a month retainer from Robert Blackwell
for his technology firm, Electronic Knowledge Interchange,
for a total of $112,000. The following exerpts are from the LA times
article:
“A few months after receiving his final payment from EKI, Obama sent a request on state Senate letterhead urging Illinois officials to provide a $50,000 tourism promotion grant to another Blackwell company, Killerspin.”

“With support from Obama, other state officials and an Obama aide who went to work part time for Killerspin, the company eventually obtained $320,000 in state grants between 2002 and 2004 to subsidize its tournaments.”

“But Obama portrays himself as a lawmaker dedicated to transparency and sensitive to even the appearance of a conflict of interest.”

“Killerspin’s owner, Blackwell, was a political supporter and friend as well. Both men lived on Chicago’s South Side. Blackwell, a savvy and successful entrepreneur, was one of the first donors to Obama’s early campaigns, including the state senator’s failed bid for a congressional seat in 2000. In the presidential race he is credited on Obama’s website with committing to raise $100,000 to $200,000 for Obama’s campaign.”
