64% OF ALL FEDERAL ARRESTS IN 2018 WERE OF NON-U.S. CITIZENS
WASHINGTON — In 2018, 64% of all federal arrests were of non-U.S. citizens, the Bureau of Justice Statistics announced today. In comparison, 37% of all federal arrests in 1998 were of non-U.S. citizens. Federal arrests of non-U.S. citizens more than tripled from 1998 to 2018 (rising 234%), while
federal arrests of U.S. citizens rose 10%.
While non-U.S. citizens make up 7% of the U.S. population (per the U.S. Census Bureau for 2017), they accounted for 15% of all federal arrests and 15% of prosecutions in U.S. district court for non-immigration crimes in 2018. Non-U.S. citizens accounted for 24% of all federal drug arrests and 25% of all federal property arrests, including 28% of all federal fraud arrests.
The country of citizenship of persons arrested by federal law enforcement changed notably over time. From 1998 to 2018, Mexican citizens’ share of federal arrests rose from 28% to 40%. Citizens of Central American countries’ share of federal arrests rose from 1% to 20% during the same period, while
U.S. citizens’ share of federal arrests fell from 63% to 36%. Federal arrests of Central Americans rose more than 30-fold over two decades, from 1,171 in 1998 to 39,858 in 2018. The number of federal arrests of Mexican citizens (78,062) exceeded the number of federal arrests of U.S. citizens (70,542) in 2018.
From 1998 to 2018, the portion of all federal arrests that took place in the five federal judicial districts along the U.S.-Mexico border (out of 94 judicial districts nationwide) almost doubled, increasing from 33% to 65%. These five judicial districts are the Southern District of California, the District of Arizona, the District of New Mexico, the Western District of Texas, and the Southern District
of Texas. In 2018, a quarter of all federal drug arrests took place in these five districts. The number of Central Americans arrested in these five districts almost tripled in one year, rising from 13,549 in 2017 to 37,590 in 2018.
Across 20 years, 95% of the increase in federal arrests was due to immigration crimes. From 1998 to 2018, federal immigration arrests increased 5-fold (from 20,942 to 108,667), rising more than 50,000 in one year from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, 90% of suspects arrested for federal immigration crimes were male, while 10% were female. Eighty-five percent of federal arrests of non-U.S. citizens in 2018 were for immigration offenses, and another 5% of arrests were immigration-related.
Of suspects prosecuted in U.S. district court in 2018, 57% were U.S. citizens and 43% were nonU.S. citizens. Almost all (99.7%) of the non-citizens prosecuted in U.S. district court were prosecuted for something other than first-time illegal entry.
The five crime types for which non-U.S. citizens were most likely to be prosecuted in U.S. district court were illegal reentry (72% of prosecutions), drugs (13%), fraud (4.5%), alien smuggling (4%), and misuse of visas (2%). The five crime types for which U.S. citizens were most likely to be prosecuted in U.S. district court were drugs (38% of prosecutions), weapons (21%), fraud (12%), public order (12%), and alien smuggling (6%).

Ed Butowsky v. NPR Folkenflik, et al will be settled out of court, in mediation or at trial at such a late date that the major revelations from witness testimony will not be revealed before the 2020 election.

At least in this case, the fake news narrative perpetuated by NPR and the rest of the fake news media will prevail regarding Seth Rich and his alleged involvement in leaks to the DNC, until after the election.

1. On March 21, 2019, this Court entered a Scheduling Order (Dkt. # 57), which set forth various deadlines up to an including a Final Pretrial Conference on January 31, 2020. Pending before the Court at that time were Defendants’ Motion to Dismiss for Failure to State a Claim, filed on October 16, 2018 (Dkt. # 25) and Plaintiff’s Motion for Leave to Amend Complaint, filed on March 15, 2019 (Dkt. 53). On April 17, 2019, the Magistrate Judge issued a
Report and Recommendation, recommending that Defendants’ Motion to Dismiss be denied (Dkt. # 58), and on August 7, 2019, the Court adopted that Report and Recommendation and denied the Defendants’ Motion to Dismiss, and additionally granted the Plaintiff’s Motion for Leave to Amend his Complaint (Dkt. # 65).

2. The parties have exchanged written discovery, but have mutually agreed that in light of the number of witnesses who must be deposed, several of whom are non-parties outside the control of any party, additional time is necessary for completion of discovery, the deadline to file dispositive motions, and trial. In addition, Plaintiff wishes to further amend his pleadings, based on events which occurred after the current Scheduling Order’s deadline to amend pleadings. Accordingly, the parties jointly request that portions of the March 21, 2019
Scheduling Order be modified, as set forth below.”

“42. The DNC employee responsible for the leaks was Seth Rich, and he was
assisted by his brother Aaron. Mr. Butowsky does not know exactly when the DNC figured out that Mr. Rich was the source of the leak. On July 10, 2016, however, Mr. Rich was fatally shot while walking home in Washington, D.C., and the murder has not been solved. Mr. Butowsky does not know whether the murder is related to Mr. Rich’s role in leaking DNC emails.
43. Shortly after the murder, the interim DNC chair at the time, Donna Brazile,
reached out to Mr. McCabe and Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser for help in dealing with the political consequences of the murder. Ms. Brazile knew suspicions would soon arise, fairly or unfairly, that the murder was connected to the email leaks. D.C. police allowed the FBI to unlock Seth Rich’s electronic devices, and the FBI obtained data showing that Mr. Rich had indeed provided the DNC emails to Wikileaks. At Mr. McCabe’s direction, however, that information was kept secret with orders that it not be produced in response to any Freedom of Information Act request. For her part, Ms. Bowser directed D.C. police not to pursue any investigative avenues that might connect the murder to the email leaks. At her direction, local police blamed the murder on a “botched robbery” even though Mr. Rich’s watch, wallet, and other belongings were not removed from his body.
44. On July 22, 2016, Wikileaks began publishing thousands of email that had
been downloaded from the DNC’s servers by Seth Rich and his brother, Aaron. Those emails showed how the campaign of Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton had corruptly taken control of the DNC for the purpose of sabotaging her primary opponent, Bernie Sanders. Per their game plan, the Clinton campaign and the DNC immediately claimed that the emails had been obtained by hackers working for the Russian government.
45. Mr. Butowsky stumbled into the RCH crosshairs after Ellen Ratner, a news
analyst for Fox News and the White House correspondent for Talk Media News,
contacted him in the Fall of 2016 about a meeting she had with Mr. Assange. Ms.
Ratner’s brother, the late Michael Ratner, was an attorney who had represented Mr. Assange. According to Ms. Ratner, she made a stop in London during a return flight from Berlin, and she met with Mr. Assange for approximately six hours in the Ecuadorean embassy. Ms. Ratner said Mr. Assange told her that Seth Rich was responsible for releasing the DNC emails to Wikileaks. Ms. Ratner said Mr. Assange wanted the information relayed to Seth’s parents, as it might explain the motive for Seth’s murder.
46. Upon her return to the United States, Ms. Ratner asked Mr. Butowsky to
contact the Rich family and relay the information from Mr. Assange, apparently because Ms. Ratner did not want her involvement to be made public. In the two months that followed, Mr. Butowsky did not attempt to contact the Rich family, but he grew increasingly frustrated as the DNC and #Resistance “journalists” blamed the Russian government for the email leak. On December 16, 2016, Mr. Butowsky sent a text message to Ms. Ratner:”

“Ms. Ratner subsequently told Mr. Butowsky that she had informed Bill Shine, who was then the co-president of Fox News, about her meeting with Mr. Assange in London. Ms. Ratner also informed Fox News producer Malia Zimmerman about her meeting with Mr. Assange.
47. On December 17, 2016, at the instigation of Ms. Ratner, Mr. Butowsky finally
contacted Joel and Mary Rich, the parents of Seth, and he relayed the information about Ms. Ratner’s meeting with Mr. Assange. During that conversation, Mr. Rich told Mr. Butowsky that he already knew that his sons were involved in the DNC email leak, but he and his wife just wanted to know who murdered Seth. Mr. Rich said he was reluctant to go public with Seth’s and Aaron’s role in leaking the emails because “we don’t want anyone to think our sons were responsible for getting Trump elected.” Mr. Rich said he
did not have enough money to hire a private investigator, so Mr. Butowsky offered to pay for one. Mr. Rich accepted the offer and thanked Mr. Butowsky in an email.”

Ellen Ratner only relayed information from Julian Assange about Seth Rich, but she said nothing about his brother, Aaron, according to Mr. Butowsky. Paragraph 45 of the First Amended Complaint in Edward Butowsy v. Michael Gottlieb, et al. mistakenly says she relayed information about both.

Mr. Butowsky said he knew nothing about Aaron’s alleged involvement until he had a phone conversation with Joel Rich, father of Seth and Aaron.”

“Transcript suggests Obama White House pressured intelligence agencies to blame Russia

Newly released documents from the FBI suggest that the Obama White House pushed intelligence agencies to publicly blame the Russians for email leaks from the Democratic National Committee to Wikileaks.

This afternoon I received an undated (and heavily redacted) transcript of an interview of James Rybicki, former chief of staff to former FBI Director James Comey, that includes this excerpt: “So we understand that at some point in October of 2016, there was, I guess, a desire by the White House to make some kind of statement about Russia’s…” and then the next page is omitted.

The comment is made by an unidentified prosecutor from the U.S. Office of Special Counsel or “OSC,” not to be confused with the office of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller (the OSC is a permanent office that investigates Hatch Act violations, and Mr. Comey was under investigation for trying to influence the 2016 Presidential election).

The context of the statement makes it all the more interesting, because the OSC prosecutors were noting that the FBI publicized its reactivation of the Clinton email investigation shortly before the 2016 election, and they were wondering why the FBI did not counterbalance that by publicizing the “Russian collusion” investigation into Donald Trump. In that setting, one of the prosecutors then commented that the White House wanted some kind of statement made about Russia.”

“In other words, it looks like the Obama White House put its thumb on the scale, pressuring intelligence agencies to adopt the Democratic National Committee’s talking points, i.e., to blame the stolen emails on Russian hackers rather than an internal source (like Seth Rich). Thanks to Roger Stone, we now know that neither the FBI nor anyone else from the U.S. government actually examined the DNC servers that supposedly were hacked. Instead, the FBI, et al. relied exclusively on a redacted report from CrowdStrike, a private security company with strong Democratic affiliations that was hired by Perkins Coie, the same firm that hired Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS.

As I noted in my July 23, 2019 post, CrowdStrike and the DNC are both fighting subpoenas that I issued (on behalf of Ed Butowsky) for information about the servers and the purported Russian hacking.

The Rybicki transcript was part of 55 additional pages that the FBI belatedly produced in response to my Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, Ty Clevenger v. U.S. Department of Justice, et al., Case No. 18-CV-01568 (E.D.N.Y.). (The FBI is still refusing to search its Computer Analysis and Research Team (“CART”) files for records related to Seth Rich, and that’s were any relevant records most likely would be found. I’ll be battling the FBI in federal court next month to make it search for records in CART).”

Alejandro Duarte Aldama, 32 years old, was charged last week on a number of child sex crime charges involving the alleged sexual assault of a six-year-old, according to records obtained by CBS 17.

Aldama, a law enforcement official told Breitbart News, entered the U.S. without inspection, which indicates that he is in the country illegally, most likely arriving from across the southern border. Aldama had been living in Raleigh, North Carolina — a sanctuary city that shields illegal aliens from deportation.”

“North Carolina, this year, has seen a number of cases in which illegal aliens have been accused of sex crimes against children. In February, an illegal alien was charged with raping a 14-year-old girl in Harmony, North Carolina, before attempting to flee the U.S. Likewise, two illegal alien teenagers were charged last month for allegedly gang-raping a 13-year-old girl in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.”

“Anti-sanctuary city bill passes NC House, moves to Senate

Members of the North Carolina House of Representatives voted in favor of a bill prohibiting sanctuary cities.

“This is a good bill,” said Rep. Michael Speciale, R-District 3, and a bill sponsor. “This allows the citizens to step up to the plate and be able to stand up for what they believe in. I think everyone should support it. It’s a great bill.”

House Bill 135 prohibits counties and cities from enacting sanctuary ordinances or limiting or restricting the enforcement of federal immigration laws.

It also allows lawsuits against those in violation.”

“Gov. Roy Cooper called an effort by state lawmakers to require sheriffs to cooperate with immigration authorities “unconstitutional,” as that effort took a major step closer to becoming law.

The Senate voted 25-18 on Monday night in support of House Bill 370, but Cooper’s comments may represent a serious obstacle to the bill, which would need approval from him or from super-majorities in the legislature.”

We now know why Robert Mueller made his ridiculous unfounded claims about Seth Rich in his report and the probable reason why the Seth Rich murder has not been solved.

Deborah Sines, the U.S  attorney who led the Seth Rich investigation.

A possible anti Trumper who may not have wanted the truth about Seth Rich’s murder and possible involvement in the DNC leaks.

Michael Isikoff, in his July 9, 2019 Yahoo News report used Deborah Sines statements as his basis for a conclusion about the “Seth Rich Conspiracies.”

Even the Washington Post saw through his flawed logic and reported it.

“Isikoff Spins His Own Russian Conspiracy Theories — Again

The latest breaking news from the Deep State is (wait for it!) … THE RUSSIANS DID IT!

No, I’m not talking about the half-baked idea of the Russians getting Donald Trump elected president by buying a few Facebook ads. That’s yesterday’s news. I’m talking about how the rascally Russians planted the story that Seth Rich was supposedly murdered to retaliate for him leaking DNC documents to WikiLeaks. That’s what is alleged in the latest agitprop hit piece by Michael Isikoff, chief investigative correspondent for Yahoo News.”

“There are two points of Isikoff’s reporting that raise questions.

First of all, he claims that the whatdoesitmean.com website is a tool of Russian intelligence and that it spread the Seth Rich “conspiracy theory” to dispel the U.S. intelligence agencies’ “official theory” that Russia had hacked Clinton’s emails and funneled them to WikiLeaks. How, then, does he explain the June 1 report on whatdoesitmean.com that states definitively: “A stunning report circulating in the Kremlin today released by the Security Council (SC) says that a little over 12 hours ago, President Putin ordered the release of a single Hillary Clinton email that is part of the tens-of-thousands of them currently held in the possession of Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).””

“According to Isikoff, though, the news is that “Sines discovered … a fake bulletin circulated by the Russian SVR, the Kremlin’s version of the CIA, that was intercepted by the U.S. intelligence agencies. Written to read like a real intelligence report, it made the exact same allegations about Seth Rich on the exact same day as the whatdoesitmean.com story.”

Sines claims there was an “original report” that she had access to, and Isikoff plays it up as if it were real news, but there is no evidence provided that such an SVR report was actually intercepted, and Isikoff’s implication that the timing of the report is somehow mysterious because it just might have been the inspiration for the whatdoesitmean.com story is ludicrous at best.

That “mysterious” connection is yet another example of “fake news” pushed by duplicitous and/or incredibly naive reporters like Isikoff. The story on whatdoesitmean.com was not secretly “inspired” by the Russian intelligence “bulletin,” but most likely was itself the source of the fictitious “original report.””

We are left with some disturbing thoughts:

  • Michael Isikoff ran with a story based on nonsense and the rest of the Fake News media regurgitated it.
  • Former US Attorney Deborah Sines allegedly led the Seth Rich investigation. What proof do we have?
  • Sines provides a ludicrous explanation for her basis for conclusions about Seth Rich.
  • Did Sines actually perform a real investigation and if so where is the proof?
  • Is Sines an anti Trumper or rabid pro Hillary?
  • Does Sines want the truth about the Seth Rich murder and possible involvement in the DNC leaks?

We already have proof that the US Justice Department and FBI have been corrupt.

Just how bad is it?

“In her efforts to better understand where the conspiracy theories were coming from, Sines used her security clearance to access copies of two SVR intelligence reports about Seth Rich that had been intercepted by U.S. intelligence officials. She later wrote a memo documenting the Russian role in fomenting the conspiracy theories that she sent to the Justice Department’s national security division, and personally briefed special counsel Robert Mueller’s prosecutors on her findings.

“It appeared to me that it was a very clear campaign to deflect an ongoing federal criminal investigation,” Sines said. “So then you have to look at why is Russia doing this? … It’s not rocket science before you add it up and you go, ‘Oh, if Seth is the leaker to WikiLeaks — it doesn’t have anything to do with the Russians. So of course Russia’s interest in doing this is incredibly transparent.” The Russian strategy, Sines said, was diabolically simple: “Let’s blame it on Seth Rich. He’s a very convenient target.””

The subpoenas further demand all evidence that Russian hackers were responsible for obtaining DNC emails in 2016 that were later published by Wikileaks.

Two weeks ago, attorneys representing Roger Stone forced prosecutors to admit that Special Counsel Robert Mueller and Obama-era intelligence officials never examined the DNC servers that purportedly were hacked by the Russians. Instead, Mueller and Obama officials relied on redacted draft reports prepared by CrowdStrike, Inc., a private company hired by the law firm Perkins Coie, the same law firm that hired Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele.”

conferred with the FBI (her client) regarding whether it assisted the Seth Rich
investigation:
I subsequently ascertained from the FBI that as part of the search that it
conducted in response to your FOIA request, the Washington, D.C. Field
Office was contacted. They responded that they did not open a case or
assist in the investigation and have no records.
In an August 22, 2018 letter from Assistant U.S. Attorney Kathleen Mahoney
(EDNY) to Magistrate Judge Lois Bloom in the same case, Ms. Mahoney wrote as
follows:
Plaintiff then inquired by email on August 16, whether the FBI had
searched for records with the Computer Analysis and Response Team
(“CART”). On August 20, the undersigned responded by email that the FBI
had advised that it did not reach out to CART because the FBI had not
assisted in the investigation (the D.C. police declined the FBI’s assistance)
but that the searches that the FBI did conduct would have located any
CART records.
Produce all records, documents, data, or communications (e.g., text messages or
telephone records) identifying the person or persons who offered FBI assistance
and the person or persons who declined it on behalf of the D.C. police. Also
produce the full contents of any such communications wherein the offer of
assistance was made or rejected.
7. Produce all data, documents, records or communications obtained by the FBI’s Computer Analysis and Response Team (“CART”) regarding Seth Rich and/or Aaron Rich.
8. Produce all data, documents or records (including texts or emails) that reflect any meetings or communications from July 10, 2016 until July 10, 2017 between
former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and any and all of the following: (1)
Seymour Myron “Sy” Hersh (born on or about April 8, 1937); (2) Washington,
D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser; and/or (3) former Democratic National Committee
Interim Chairwoman Donna Brazile.
