If you know your history, then you know that this is a common tactic by the establishment elite to string the public along with false hopes so that they do not prepare or take alternative measures while the system crumbles around their ears. At the onset of the Great Depression the same strategies were used. Consider if you’ve heard similar quotes to these in the mainstream news over the past couple months:”

“It’s Not As Bad As It Seems

Yes, it is exactly as bad as it seems if not worse. When the Dow can open 1000 points down on a Monday and China can lose all of its gains for 2015 in the span of a few weeks despite institutionalized stimulus measures lasting years, then something is very wrong. This is not a “hiccup”. This is not a correction which has already hit bottom. This is only the beginning of the end.

Stocks are not a predictive indicator. They do not follow positive or negative fundamentals. Stocks do not crash before or during the development of an ailing economy. Stocks crash after the economy has already gone comatose. Stocks crash when the system is no longer salvageable. Since 2008, nothing in the global financial structure has been salvaged and now the central banking edifice is either unable or unwilling (I believe both) to supply the tools to allow us even to pretend that it can be salvaged. We’re going to feel the hurt now, all while the establishment tells us the whole thing is in our heads.”

“Hillary’s e-mail defense is ‘total BS’: former State Dept. officials”

“Former State Department security officials don’t buy Hillary Clinton’s latest alibi that she couldn’t tell that government e-mails — which she improperly, if not illegally, kept for several years on an unsecured home server — contained top-secret information because they lacked official markings and weren’t classified until later.

Such messages contain sensitive “keywords” distinguishing them from unclassified information, even if the material didn’t bear a classified heading as she claims.

The secretary would have known better, the department ­officials say, because she was trained to understand the difference when she was “read in” on procedures to ID and handle classified information by diplomatic-security officials in 2009.
Clinton also went through a so-called “read-off” when she left ­office in 2013. In that debriefing, security officials reminded her of her duty to return all classified documents, including ones in which the classification status is “uncertain,” which would have included the e-mails stored on her private server — which she only this month turned over to authorities. The read-off would have included her signing a nondisclosure agreement.

“Once she resigned as secretary, she needed to return classified documents and other government-owned documents, which in this case would have included the server,” veteran Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent Raymond Fournier said.”

““I did not receive any material marked or designated classified, which is the way you know whether something is [classified],” she said last week, revising an earlier claim that “there is no classified material.”

“That’s total BS,” said retired Army Col. Larry Mrozinski, who served almost four years as a ­senior military adviser and security manager in the State Department under both Clinton and Condoleezza Rice.

He says Clinton easily would have ID’d the material as classified based on “keywords and phrases” and the fact that the information came from foreign sources.

“TS/SCI is very serious and specific information that jumps out at you and screams ‘classified,’ ” Mrozinski said. “The sources [of the information] also drive and signal sensitivity.””

“For months, the U.S. State Department has stood behind its former boss Hillary Clinton as she has repeatedly said she did not send or receive classified information on her unsecured, private email account, a practice the government forbids.

While the department is now stamping a few dozen of the publicly released emails as “Classified,” it stresses this is not evidence of rule-breaking. Those stamps are new, it says, and do not mean the information was classified when Clinton, the Democratic frontrunner in the 2016 presidential election, first sent or received it.

But the details included in those “Classified” stamps — which include a string of dates, letters and numbers describing the nature of the classification — appear to undermine this account, a Reuters examination of the emails and the relevant regulations has found.

The new stamps indicate that some of Clinton’s emails from her time as the nation’s most senior diplomat are filled with a type of information the U.S. government and the department’s own regulations automatically deems classified from the get-go — regardless of whether it is already marked that way or not.

In the small fraction of emails made public so far, Reuters has found at least 30 email threads from 2009, representing scores of individual emails, that include what the State Department’s own “Classified” stamps now identify as so-called ‘foreign government information.’ The U.S. government defines this as any information, written or spoken, provided in confidence to U.S. officials by their foreign counterparts.

This sort of information, which the department says Clinton both sent and received in her emails, is the only kind that must be “presumed” classified, in part to protect national security and the integrity of diplomatic interactions, according to U.S. regulations examined by Reuters.

“It’s born classified,” said J. William Leonard, a former director of the U.S. government’s Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO). Leonard was director of ISOO, part of the White House’s National Archives and Records Administration, from 2002 until 2008, and worked for both the Bill Clinton and George W. Bush administrations.”

More damning evidence against Hillary Clinton to be found?

“A federal judge on Thursday said that Hillary Rodham Clinton did not comply with government policies in her exclusive use of a personal email account while she was secretary of state, challenging her longstanding position that she abided by the rules.

At a hearing for a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the State Department, the judge, Emmet G. Sullivan of Federal District Court for the District of Columbia, said that “we wouldn’t be here today if the employee had followed government policy.”

Judge Sullivan also opened the door for the F.B.I., which is investigating whether there was classified information on Mrs. Clinton’s account, to expand its inquiry to pursue emails that she may have deleted. The judge ordered the State Department to ask the F.B.I. to give it any emails recovered from Mrs. Clinton’s private server that were not already in the State Department’s possession or that may be related to the lawsuit.

The Justice Department, which oversees the F.B.I., has argued that Freedom of Information Act searches do not typically involve a government employee’s personal email account.

Mrs. Clinton has said she gave the State Department more than 30,000 emails related to her work in office. She deleted about the same number of emails that she said were personal. Her lawyer has said the server was then wiped clean. Mrs. Clinton has also said that she had no classified information on her account.

In a statement, a spokesman for Mrs. Clinton defended her use of the account. “Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email account was consistent with the practice of other secretaries of state, and permissible under the department’s policy at the time,” said the spokesman, Brian Fallon.

When Mrs. Clinton became secretary in February 2009, the State Department’s general policy was “that normal day-to-day operations be conducted on an authorized” government computer. Nine months later, federal regulations were toughened to say that government agencies that allow employees to use nongovernment email accounts must “ensure that federal records sent or received on such systems are preserved in the appropriate agency record-keeping system.””

“A full appellate court indicated Wednesday that it will not rehear an appeal of Rod Blagojevich’s corruption convictions, and his lawyer responded that the imprisoned former Illinois governor will appeal next to the U.S. Supreme Court.

After a three-judge panel tossed out five of his 18 convictions in July, the Democrat had hoped the full court might overturn even more. But the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals posted a notice Wednesday saying not a single judge on the court asked for a rehearing.

Blagojevich, 58, is serving a 14-year prison sentence at a federal prison in Colorado on convictions including his attempt to sell an appointment to President Barack Obama’s old U.S. Senate seat.

An appeal to the high court is a last slim hope for Blagojevich, who proclaimed his innocence for years on talk shows, including NBC’s “The Apprentice” when Donald Trump still presided over the reality show.

There’s no guarantee the Supreme Court would even agree to hear Blagojevich’s appeal. It accepts only around 80 cases a year out of more than 10,000 requests to take up a case, according to court data. It also favors cases that raise unique, weighty issues.

Defense attorney Leonard Goodman, however, suggests that the Supreme Court might agree to a view that 7th Circuit judges did not agree with: That in each case of alleged corruption, Blagojevich was participating in legal, run-of-the-mill politicking.

Allowing all the convictions to stand, Goodman said in a written statement, “puts every public official who must raise campaign funds to stay in office and to be effective at the mercy of an ambitious or politically motivated federal prosecutor.””

“In a modest win for Blagojevich, the panel ordered that he be brought back to Chicago to be resentenced, something that could happen within the next several months. But it also said his original 14-year sentence might be considered fair even after subtracting the five overturned counts.”

“Unsecured Hillary Emails, Hackers Worry Senate Homeland Security Chairman”

“Federal officials and Hillary Clinton’s lawyers may not be the only ones with copies of the former secretary of state’s official emails, according to Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Chairman Ron Johnson.

Johnson, a Wisconsin Republican, told FBI Director James Comey in an August 17 letter that he is “deeply concerned by recent reports that classified information in Secretary Clinton’s email may exist outside of the federal government’s possession.”

The homeland committee chairman wants Comey to explain “whether additional unsecured copies of classified information currently exists.”

Johnson also said he is worried that hackers, foreign governments or other unauthorized persons may have hacked Clinton’s emails. He asked Comey for answers by August 31.

“The very nature of this kind of material is that it’s transferable,” a congressional source familiar with the Senate investigation told the Daily Caller News Foundation Tuesday.

“There are a lot questions out there about whether additional copies or even hard copies were made elsewhere,” the source said.

The DCNF reported Tuesday that the State Department has yet to provide the House Select Committee on Benghazi information on the chain of custody of Clinton’s email even though that material was first requested months ago.

The chain of custody is essential to determining whether Clinton, any of her government or campaign aides or other State Department officials violated federal law concerning the handling of classified documents in connection with her use of a email private server at her New York residence. between 2009 and 2013.

Clinton surrendered the server to the FBI on August 11, as well as three thumbnail flash drivers possessed by her attorney, David Kendall, who held them in a secure room at his law office of Williams & Connolly in Washington, D.C.

During the same time, another “backup server” was picked up by the FBI from a “third party” IT company in New Jersey that was under contract to Platte River Networks, a small Colorado IT company that signed a contract to upgrade and maintain her personal server system in 2013. The DCNF reported Friday that Platte River is not certified by the Department of Defense to handle classified material.”

“Hillary Clinton’s Server Was In New Jersey This Whole Time. It’s Blank Now.”

“Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s mysterious email server has been in a private data center in New Jersey since 2013, that is, until the IT company the former secretary of state hired to maintain the hardware handed the “blank” device over to the FBI Wednesday.

Clinton’s attorney, David Kendall, informed the Department of State in a letter Wednesday that the company hired to manage and maintain the server, Denver-based Platte River Networks, was turning it over to the Department of Justice. Kendall also told State he handed over three thumb drives that contained Clinton’s emails.

The Washington Post reported the FBI recently contacted the company to obtain the server. That move followed reports that the Intelligence Community inspector general had discovered that at least two emails maintained in Clinton’s records contained “Top Secret” information.

The server was housed in the basement of Clinton’s Chappaqua, N.Y. home while she was secretary of state. After she left office, Clinton hired Platte River Networks, which moved the system from her home to a private data center in New Jersey.”

Barbara Wells, an attorney for the company, told The Post agents picked the server up at around 4 p.m. Wednesday. But she said the hardware is “now blank” and no longer contains any useful information.

“The information had been migrated over to a different server for purposes of transition,” said Wells. The transfer was carried out in June 2013, she told The Post.

“To my knowledge the data on the old server is not available now on any servers or devices in Platte River Network’s control.””

The horses’ asses in the White House are not telling you the truth about the economy and real jobs situation.

The horses’ asses in the media are not either.

But the truth cannot be hidden forever.

Look at the suffering around you.

I am constantly hearing reports of local and national food banks running out of food and the sharp increase in demand.

It stands to reason that with the near depression level jobs market that we have that people would be forced to stand in bread and soup lines.

“FOOD BANKS STRUGGLE TO MEET SURPRISING DEMAND”

“Food banks across the country are seeing a rising demand for free groceries despite the growing economy, leading some charities to reduce the amount of food they offer each family.

U.S. food banks are expected to give away about 4 billion pounds of food this year, more than double the amount provided a decade ago, according to Feeding America, the nation’s primary food bank network. The group gave away 3.8 billion in 2013.

While reliance on food banks exploded when the economy tanked in 2008, groups said demand continues to rise year after year, leaving them scrambling to find more food.

“We get lines of people every day, starting at 6:30 in the morning,” said Sheila Moore, who oversees food distribution at The Storehouse, the largest pantry in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and one where food distribution has climbed 15 percent in the past year.

Across the country in Gloucester, Massachusetts, The Open Door food pantry has given away 7.6 percent more food this summer than last, said the organization’s executive director, Julie LaFontaine.”

“James Ziliak, who founded the Center for Poverty Research at the University of Kentucky, said the increased demand is surprising since the economy is growing and unemployment has dropped from 10 percent during the recession to 5.3 percent last month.

However, many people who have found jobs are working only part-time or for low wages, and others have stopped looking for work.”

“People who have low-wage jobs, who aren’t receiving regular raises, are finding those earnings stretched thin,” Ziliak said.

The drop in food stamp rolls by nearly 2.5 million people from recession levels could be contributing to the food bank demand, he said, because people who no longer qualify for the government aid may still not earn enough to pay their bills.

“The number of children receiving food stamps remains higher than it was before the start of the Great Recession in 2007, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s annual Families and Living Arrangements table package released today.

The rate of children living with married parents who receive food stamps has doubled since 2007. In 2014, an estimated 16 million children, or about one in five, received food stamp assistance compared with the roughly 9 million children, or one in eight, that received this form of assistance prior to the recession.”

Asian + 211,000

Hispanic + 69,000

Using the same US Labor Dept. Historical charts that the Washington Examiner used below, you will find that under the first 6 years of Obama, 75 percent of employment gains went to Hispanics.

We have Hillary Clinton talking about raising taxes, Obama and the left trying to raise the minimum wage and this all sounds great to low information voters.

The reality is that these measures kill jobs and hurt the very people they are supposed to help.

For a president who says he won’t sleep until everybody who wants a job has one, get some NoDoz because there are going to be some sleepless nights.

There are unintended consequences of a higher wage policy, but there is also the fact that the President inaccurately depicts the people on minimum wage. If you surmised from the President’s description that minimum wage workers were single mothers balancing a job at McDonald’s and caring for her children, you’d be wrong.  Most minimum wage workers aren’t adults but people 25 years of age and under, and 60% work part-time.

The true picture of the typical minimum wage worker is a high school or college student with a part-time job, balancing work with the demands of an academic life. Do they deserve a 14% pay hike?

According to the Heritage Foundation, people who are paid minimum wage typically live in households with incomes two or more times over the official poverty level. Non-economists refer to them as mom and dad.

Here’s what the President doesn’t understand that you probably do: minimum wage jobs are training positions. The employer contributes every bit as much to the worker in terms of training teaching job skills, good work habits, how to meet expectations, as the worker does. That’s why these folks aren’t getting top dollar. They are newbies.

The job market is full of people performing at different levels and they all don’t get paid the same amount of money! That is fair, right and good.

Oh, and by the way, two-thirds of minimum wage workers don’t earn minimum wage after a year. They get a raise!”

“Wendy’s Explains What Happens When Fry Cooks Make $15/Hour”

“At the most basic level, the argument against hastily construed wage hikes is that forcing employers to pay everyone more will simply prompt companies to fire people or at the very least, curtail hiring. As one Burger King franchisee recently told CBS, “[fast food] businesses are not going to pay $15 dollars an hour [because] the economics don’t work in this industry. There is a limit to what you’re going to pay for a hamburger.”

With that in mind, we present the following commentary from Wendy’s most recent conference call with no comment:

Yeah. So we continue to see pressure on wages two fronts, one is minimum wages at the state level continue to increase, and as there is a war on talent to make sure that we’re competitive in certain markets. So we’ve made some adjustments to that starting wage in certain markets. The impact hasn’t been material at the moment, but we continue to look at initiatives on how we do work to offset any impact to future wage inflation through technology initiatives, whether that’s customer self-order kiosks, whether that’s automating more in the back of the house in the restaurant, and you’ll see a lot more coming on that front later this year from us.

Okay, understood. I mean there is obviously a lot of discussion of wage prices, wage costs and that there would be increased pricing at the franchise level to offset those increased wages, especially in markets like New York for example that are going to see some very severe increases in wage costs. So can you juxtapose the franchisees’ desire and/or need to take pricing at the store level with what sounds like an increased focus overall for the brand on value, can those two things be achieved simultaneously?

Yeah, John, this is Emil. And our franchisees, I find them to be very astute business people, and they have a great sense of their trade areas where their restaurants are and a great I think understanding of what the competitive environment is in terms of their capacity to price. I think the reality is that what you will see in like some of these markets, the New Yorks, where there is these very significant increases, is that they will be – our franchisee will slightly likely look at the opportunity to reduce overall staff, look at the opportunity to certainly reduce hours and any other cost reduction opportunities, not just price. There are some people out there who naively say that these wages can simply be passed along in terms of price increases. I don’t think that the average franchisee believes that, and there will have to be other consequences, which is why we have pointed out that unfortunately we believe the some of these increases will clearly end up hurting the people that they are intended to help.”
