LTC Terry Lakin, CNN retraction of defamatory comments

JEFFREY TOOBIN WITHDRAWS VICIOUS STATEMENT HE MADE ABOUT LAKIN SAYS HE NEVER INTENDED THEM TO APPLY TO DECORATED ARMY DOCTOR
Washington, D.C., August 16, 2010. The Army doctor who is being court martialled for refusing to obey orders has demanded – and received – a retraction from CNN of defamatory comments made by Jeffrey Toobin about Lakin.
Lakin appeared on the “Anderson Cooper 360” program with his lead counsel, Paul Rolf Jensen on May 7, 2010. A few days later, CNN aired on the same program a panel discussion with three lawyers, the purpose of which was to discuss LTC Lakin and his case. During that program, the following colloquy took place between Messrs. Cooper and Toobin, and a photo of LTC Lakin was displayed during Mr. Toobin’s remarks:
COOPER: It is sad, this guy has given 18 years of service, apparently served honorably, was a doctor, and then seems to be tossing out his career for this. I mean there are principled stands you can take…
TOOBIN: In your interview you kept saying what an honorable man he is. You know, as they say at the Supreme Court, I think I dissent. You know, these people are bigots, they’re racists, they’re freaks, they’re lunatics, these are not rational players in American politics…
On June 8, 2010, Jensen wrote CNN President Jonathan Klein as well as Mr. Toobin. In that letter, Jensen wrote: “Mr. Toobin’s statement is patently false. LTC Lakin is neither irrational, a racist, a bigot, a freak, or a lunatic. Nor is there any rational basis to conclude he is any of these things, which of course was Mr. Cooper’s point. Mr. Toobin, unlike Mr. Cooper, made this statement without ever speaking with LTC Lakin (or likely anyone that knows him.) Mr. Toobin’s statement was understood to pertain to LTC Lakin and appears to have been made with actual malice, and particularly in the context given, which is Mr. Toobin contradicting Mr. Cooper saying LTC Lakin’s professional service was honorable, attacks my client’s professional character and standing.
For these reasons, Mr. Toobin’s statement constitutes per se defamation, and is unconscionable, and LTC Lakin demands it be immediately retracted, on air during the “Anderson Cooper 360″ program. Your failure to make such a retraction will leave us no choice but to sue for defamation without further notice or demand.”
Immediately upon receipt of Jensen’s letter, CNN’s Vice President and General Counsel David Vigilante contacted Jensen, and although he denied the statement was defamatory, he agreed that CNN would require Toobin to retract the statement, and true to his word, last month this is exactly what aired:
TOOBIN: Anderson, can I just add one point on an unrelated matter?
COOPER: Sure. Yes.
TOOBIN: A couple of weeks ago, we did a story about Lieutenant Colonel Terrence Lakin. He is the officer who has tried to get out of military service because he believes that President Obama was not born in the United States. He’s one of the so-called birthers. In the course of that report, I made the statement that a lot of the birthers are bigots and racists and there was a picture of Lakin behind me.
I didn’t mean to suggest that he was a bigot and a racist. I was just talking more generally. And I also should correct myself. He wasn’t trying to get out of military service. He is the subject of a court Martial, that’s why we were doing the story. But I didn’t mean to imply that about him.
COOPER: OK, Jeff, thanks.

LTC Lakin accepts this second statement as a complete retraction of the first. Although it is regrettable that it took Jensen’s threat of litigation to compel Toobin to take back his vile words, the fact remains that CNN did the right thing in airing this retraction. “The matter is now closed,” Lakin stated today. “CNN and Toobin did the right thing to clear my name, and while I was ready to file suit if necessary to protect my reputation, I am glad my attorney was successful without having to do so.”
Lakin is a Lt. Colonel with almost 18 years of unblemished service to the Army, with six tours of duty abroad, including tours in Bosnia and Afghanistan. He is a physician and has been awarded the Bronze Star for his service. He believes that his oath to support and defend the United States Constitution has compelled him to act as he has, because President Obama’s eligibility under the Constitution to hold office has been seriously questioned, and the President has refused all requests to release documents claimed to exist which could determine his eligibility.
Immediately prior to Lakin’s refusal to deploy, his commander, COL Dale Block wrote of Lakin, “Dr. Lakin is an extremely talented, highly knowledgeable senior Army clinician…he can always be counted on to provide me with expert advice…LTC Lakin is clearly one of the top clinicians in the Northern Regional Medical Command. He has superb clinical skills, rapport with patients and staff…Terry is the best choice for tough assignments…Already on the promotion list to Colonel, he should be groomed for positions of greater responsibility.” COL Block concluded by describing LTC Lakin as “best qualified” and recommended that LTC Lakin be selected for duty as a Clinic Commander (in other words, Block’s own position).

I am very doubtful that LTC Lakin will receive a full trial. Instead there will be NO discovery. He will only hear allegations, and they will try to convict him after accusing him. Nor will he have the chance to defend himself. I believe that the courts martial will be over with quickly,and he will be whisked away, and hidden in a remote stockade somewhere. If this is attempted then it is almost mandatory that his case be brought before the US supreme court. If that happens we will also soon know whether the SCOTUS is also corrupted. If the little creep clerk (Bickel) has his way Lakin will never come before the Supreme Court. Bickel has something coming for his past behavior. He will collect his due sooner or later. Perhaps a vacation in LEAVANWORTH qwould be appropriate.

WALTON COUNTY – Officials from the Federal Environmental Protection Agency were on Walton County’s Beaches this week digging holes and finding oil product as deep as 14 inches under the sand.
According to the operations and response website, Floridadisater.org, the sand also contained pea-size tar balls that were weathered and have been present for an extended period. Cleanup crews were gone by 1:30 p.m. because of the day’s heat.

How long can Obama and his pack of Muslim dogs think they can repeat their taqiya “modus operandis” of lies, blame, false denials, denigrating valid opposition via name calling (racist, birthers, conspiracists, angry white people, tea baggers, Islamaphobics, hate speech mongers on and on and on) before the veneer wares off and the whole world sees them for exactly what they are— ruthless power lusting liars who will say or do anything no matter who or how many it harms to keep themselves in power? They have lost their credibility and all they can do is repeat themselves like a broken record. We read their not-so-new-idea-of-change Saul Alinksy Rules for Radicals, Dreams of My Father, and Communist Manifesto rotten books. Obama and his pack of dogs have no more secrets. We know their goals, their techniques and the depth of their determination to steal and keep power. Clever dogs that they are—they will allow no one or any issue get in the way of their plans for permanent eternal power—especially a stand up guy like Lt. Col. Lakin!
Here is the flaw in their best laid plans. They assume the American public is so gullible that they can do what they want and say what they want about Obama’s eligibiliyy and American citizens will wholeheartedly believe any fairy tale they spin. They still don’t realize this is, it is no longer so. They haven’t figured out yet that the golden credibility they once had is LOST—never to return. They also haven’t realized the price they are going to pay for demonizing, belittling, threatening, hiding and attempting any other harm upon this great and innocent American military doctor will become the “shot heard around the world.” They are and will be seen naked and exposed as the ruthless, nefarious criminals they are in the eyes of the entire planet.
This is it. Obama’s last stand of refusal to prove his eligibility. If Obama refuse this time, the wolves of the world will grab him by the throat. No matter what Obama and his dogs attempt to do to Lt. Col. Lakin, they will fail to discredit him. If they murder Lt. Col. Lakin he will become the martyr who will seed a civil war to over throw this Muslim/Fascist regime. If Obama succeeds in manipulating the military justice system into court martialling him, Lakin will become the spirit and leader of the patriotic Americans who have the honor and integrity to insist Obama produce his records or go to jail. Best of all, if at long last Obama does produce his records and it shows Obama is not eligible—then America will ask him to run for president! Lt. Col. Lakin will become larger than life and glorified for his high moral character. Such an American man will one day stand shoulder to shoulder with Gandhi and Mother Theresa.
No matter what O’muslim and his pack of dogs do Terrence Lakin—it is a win/lose situation for the fraud. Lt. Col. Lakin is Obama’s last straw. G. Gordon Liddy and many others are working diligently to bring this forward. It is only a matter of time Lt. Col. Lakin’s name will be as familiar to the world as is Obama’s. This is one of the most historical cases in years and will be told for all history. The end of the silence regarding Ofraud’s constitutional eligibility has come.

I assume that in LAKIN’s case it it is a defense attorney who is UNKNOWN to him, and then there is a JUDGE who clearly wants to make a name for HERSELF. There is little doubt in my mind that she WILL earn a name for herself, but it is unclear just what meaning the name will carry with it. From all that I have been able to determine the alleged trial will only look like ,and sound like a trial,but that is where it comes to a csreeching halt. Take a long look at another female of the same cut of cloth…….MMMMSSSS Bolton. in Arizona. She too was clearly trying to conver Soetoro’s butt. I see no reason why this judge will do anything differently. They are BOTH on SOETORO’S PAYROLL. I find myself highly angered by the thought that the
uslims will build a mosque within a short distance from ground zero. While they MIGHT HAVE the right to build a mosque where they choose, they DON’T have the right to desecrate the memory of those who died at ground zero. In reality I believe that this venture is claerly for the purpose of acquiring “BRAGGING “rights. Now the bastards who perpetrated 9-11 want to eject their SPIT upon the site as much as they can. I believe that this is the SOLE PURPOSE the proposed mosque. If this is accurate then they are some of the most DESPICABLE people on earth.

Monroe County TN Corruption Turns Violent

What started out over a year ago as what seemed to be a simple citizen effort to report government wrong-doing in a Treason case against Barack Obama, filed by Retired Navy Lt. Commander Walter Fitzpatrick III, turned into something unexpected when the Monroe County justice system obstructed justice and turned its evil sights on the Commander.
Since then, Fitzpatrick has been arrested and jailed twice, humiliated by local character assassination, threatened, roughed up and accused of inciting riot, which in Tennessee code can apparently be used against anyone when three or more citizens attempt to address their local public servants in a public place.
Fitzpatrick now stands trial on a host of rigged charges, all at the hands of local corrupt public servants who seem to have a history of such activity, and a growing tendency to become violent when citizens try to make public the level of crime and corruption in that quaint little Tennessee community.
Corruption becomes Deadly
On Saturday July 17, 2010 – Republican Election Commissioner Jim Miller was brutally murdered in a Chicago mob style slaying and set ablaze in the trunk of his car.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputy Capt. Kenny Hope was immediately a “person of interest” in the case, but has since been “cleared” by TBI officials.
What does this have to do with the Treason charges filed against Obama in Monroe County? That depends on whether or not Commissioner Miller had seen similar evidence filed with his office concerning election fraud in the 2008 election, and whether or not Miller was about to shine a local light on that or other reports of systemic corruption in Monroe County…
The Violence Continues
As news of local corruption concerning Fitzpatrick spread throughout the community, other local citizens began to come forward with other similar and much more bizarre horror stories with crime family type charges against the local Sheriff Bivins and what is locally referred to as his “henchmen.”
An online Christian News Wire published at story accusing Sheriff Bivins of involvement in the murder “cover-up.”
The following day, locals involved in that report were visited by Bivins “henchmen” as they were leaving an East Tennessee Health Care facility. Chilling events of that day are described in a follow-up Christian News Wire release dated July 30, 2010.
From that report – “Two Christian Citizens against Corruption workers reported attempting to leave a parking lot of an East Tennessee Health Care Facility around 3:00 pm yesterday when a black Ford F-150 pulled up behind them blocking the workers’ vehicle from moving. The car’s driver, Daniel Morgan, identified the driver of the black truck as Travis Jones, a detective of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. Wearing no uniform and showing no badge or identification, he angrily ordered the driver and passengers out of the vehicle. Mr. Jones made a holstered gun visible during the ordeal.
Fearing for the safety of his passengers, Mr. Morgan cautioned the passengers in the vehicle from leaving the vehicle as detective Jones was not displaying typical police behavior. According to passengers, Travis Jones was forced to move his truck as an ambulance became impatient with him blocking the road. Mr. Jones left the scene after he observed Mr. Morgan making a cell phone call to state officials, during which he made a police report of the incident to Sergeant Kevin Smith of the Tennessee Highway Patrol.”

With each passing day, more and more local citizens are coming forward with stories of systemic corruption in the Monroe County government that seems to date back years.

It All Started with a Treason Case against Obama
Tennessee has some of the strongest citizen Grand Jury and citizen arrest laws in the nation. Yet when Monroe County resident Walter Fitzpatrick attempted to deliver evidence of fraud and treason to his local Grand Jury, he was met with obstruction and corruption that is now spiraling into violent acts of retaliation by the very people sworn to uphold the rule of law in Monroe County.
Clearly, the small town good-ole-boy system is peeved that a local peasant like Fitzpatrick would dare question their authority or challenge their acts of corruption. Yet this is exactly what our nation’s Founding Fathers would have done and would call upon each of us to do, in the preservation of freedom and self-governance.
As an increasing volume of evidence against local officials comes out, those officials seem to be using an increasing level of thuggery in an attempt to silence locals and protect their neat little game.
But small town thugs were in for a rude awakening when Fitzpatrick delivered the news that he would not stand against them alone…

The example that you used to show the illicit nature of constructing a mosque on,or near hallowed ground is well taken. I personally think that this venture is FAR from over. Monday wasn’t the best day for Orly Taitz, the California lawyer and dentist who has made it a personal crusade to oust President Obama from office by proving that he wasn’t born in the U.S.
On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court turned its back on Taitz. The court decided not to stay a fine against Taitz levied after after the attorney ran into trouble with U.S. District Judge Clay Land of Columbus, Ga. (Click here for the BLT blog piece.)
Taitz had clashed with Land for repeatedly arguing that one of her clients couldn’t be deployed to Iraq because Obama was serving illegally president, which she said would invalidate the transfer orders.
Land rejected the motion as frivolous, but Taitz wasn’t giving up that easily. She termed the judge’s decision “an act of treason” and filed a motion for a rehearing. Land rejected that too and later received a letter from Taitz’s client, Capt. Connie Rhodes, stating that her attorney had had filed the rehearing motion without her consent.
Land slapped Taitz with a $20,000 sanction and these stinging words: “Her response to the Court’s show cause order is breathtaking in its arrogance and borders on delusional.”
Taitz has been appealing ever since — first to the 11th Circuit (denied), then Justice Clarence Thomas (denied), then Justice Samuel Alito Jr, who referred it to the full court.
“Land’s order can only be characterized as a legal `hit job,’” wrote Taitz in her stay application. “Land really wanted to deter any further legal actions against Obama.”
The Supreme Court rejected the application without comment.

Because of his claim of being born in Hawaii after many African newspapers had stated that he was born in Kenya or Tanzania, and because his place of birth is one important factor as to whether or not he is eligible to hold the office of president, we have sought the truth from the Hawaii Department of Health, which has obfuscated, delayed, and failed to even respond to legitimate requests for information for the last 18 months, whether the requests were in regard to Obama or simply general procedural questions. The federal government has recently been outed by the Associated Press as having committed the same egregious violation of requesters’ civil rights.

However, there is one more step to the investigation, the results of which will aid us in finding the final answer as to whether or not Obama was born in Hawaii as well as whether or not crimes have been committed by public officials there, possibly including the governor and Health Department director.
