WASHINGTON, March 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — An unprecedented coalition of grassroots and “tea party” groups is launching the final push before a possible vote by the House. Coming together under the auspices of the American Grassroots Coalition, various events held by different groups will be coordinated, including a noon rally at the U.S. Capitol on Saturday, a candlelight vigil and “virtual vigil” leading up to the vote.
“All of the groups have a mutual goal — to band together to communicate the frustration of the people and demand the termination of this health bill legislation,” said Jennifer Hulsey, Co-Founder of American Grassroots Coalition.
The past two weeks has seen the “Take The Town Halls To Washington” initiative get nearly 1,000 people to DC to meet with approximately 30 Congressman. The event culminated in the rally at Taft Park near the Capitol, which was sponsored by Tea Party Express. Over 1,500 people assembled to rally against the health care bill and then meet with their representatives.
While the Capitol Police diverted the stage and sound for the park rally, grass roots activists innovated and used a park bench and bull horn to get their message to the attendees!
The following actions are planned for the next 72 hours:
- Calling campaigns to the House by constituents to vote no on the bill
- “Talk to Washington” health care town halls in Mississippi, Pennsylvania and other states
- Code Red rally in Washington, DC at 12 noon on Saturday at Upper Senate Park
- Nationwide “Virtual Vigil” on BlogTalk radio sponsored by DoctorsandPatients.org
- Candlelight vigil around the Capitol on Saturday night

Linda this might be for the lawyers in the group.
It seems in contract law-any change made they have a person initial it-meaning the person has seen the change and agrees to it. We have done contracts at work and they have to be very specific as in you are stuck with it good, bad or indifferent.
If you were an authorized signer at work, would you sign a blank check, that someone could fill in any amount later? Don’t think so. This is what Pelosi and her evil twin Slaughter are trying to con people into doing, not only is it wrong, if they are making some kind of promises-what guarantees does anyone have that they can keep them. Michele Bachmann is correct-this bill has become an even bigger abomination now, than when it started.

I guessing here but I think the folks-Thank you-who made the video had a bunch of volunteers ready, gave them 20 pages each to read with the instructions to just circle anything that looks weird, collected the worst of the worst and rushed it to video-which is really necessary for information Pelosi sure as he## is not ready to supply-more evil. Something I have not seen addressed-ObamaCare passes-someones beloved husband/wife/child/parents/other relative dies due to this insane bill?
Who are people going to blame? It is hard for families to face sometimes due to the most heroic efforts by all medical personnel-the patient passes away or God takes them home.
The people will blame the Democrats if no matter how hard they tried they could not get care, the Republicans will fare better since they fought it and hopefully kill this horror before it becomes the Insane Law of the Land. If our government could make an amendment to dissolve Prohibition-they will pass an amendment when the time is right so that no government entity will ever attempt to take over health care again.
Our country needs an amendment passed that if it not expressly in the Constitution-the government (subject to elections) is not allowed near it.

I don’t think she has been excommunicated from the church, but many petitioned the Pope to do so principally because she has voted for laws that promote abortion and artificial contraception, both of which are contrary to church teaching.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) promised two Democratic senators this week a Senate vote on the public option “in the coming months.”
Certain people are now trying to make us all believe that the HC BILL will not be repeallable. Well I have a little news flash for them. When people are PI$$ED OFF ENOUGH ANYTHING can be changed, and in the case of the alleged HC Bill it will be struck down in the courts. The good news is that as long as it is in the courts NOBODY has to PAY a DAMN NICKLE. If a SNOT NOSED LITTLE CREEP comes to your door and says he is there to fine you, tell him to BEAT IT. Anybody who would even take such a job must really be hard up. It is a job in which you would want to keep your personal HEALTH INSURANCE PAID UP. I would think that he/she might suffer from multiple gunshot wounds on a pretty regular basis.

Years ago Chicken of the Sea Cannery was in San Diego, only a very short distance from North Island Navy Air Station. It was on the West side of SanDiego Bay. MMMSSS.Pelosi introducesd a bill that excluded the people of American Samoa from receiving the benefits of the wage increase. It got passed too. It screwed the people of American Samoa out of $1.50 per hour. If the world is lucky maybe the last tsunami wave finished off Chicken of the Sea when it hit the island about a year ago. It wiped out a LOT of industry there.

The bill doesn’t say what would qualify as a “demonstrated record,” so if ObamaCare passes you can expect that medical schools and other training institutions will do whatever they can to get away with training as many people as possible from so-called “disadvantaged backgrounds.”
By the way, if you’re poor and white, or Asian, or Jewish, don’t expect any advantage under this plan. The word “underrepresented” is inserted into the bill’s language to make it clear the preferences are aimed at giving a leg up to black and Hispanic students. According to the soft bigotry of the left, “underrepresented” is always meant to be read as “black” and “Latino.”

Did anyone really think that, just because Barack Hussein Obama called his recent meeting a “bipartisan healthcare reform summit,” that the Democrats were serious about starting over and including the Republicans’ ideas in their plans?
OF COURSE THEY WEREN’T! When Sen. Lamar Alexander opened the President’s health care summit for the GOP by saying the Democrats should renounce the idea of using parliamentary tricks to pass health care, Obama concluded that the American people were not concerned with the arcane processes of the Senate and would be “comfortable with a majority vote.”
Sen. Alexander stated:
My request is this, that before we go further today, that the Democratic congressional leaders and you Mr. President, renounce this idea of going back to the Congress and jamming through on a partisan vote, through a little-used process we call reconciliation, your version of the bill.”
Obama refused to renounce “reconciliation” to pass his plan — and now we see why, as he’s pushing for it to be used! So, in other words, Obama is LYING about compromising on his healthcare plans, and Reid and Pelosi are preparing to use a parliamentary trick to ram ObamaCare down the throats of the American people — and it looks like they’re planning to do it THIS WEEKEND!
We MUST NOT let them succeed!
Here’s the “trick” that Obama, Pelosi and Reid are planning to use to ram ObamaCare through: it’s called “reconciliation”. As the Wall Street Journal explains, “House Democrats would pass a series of ‘fixes’ to the Senate bill. The Senate would then pass the House reconciliation bill, sending amendments to President Obama to a bill that — strictly speaking — didn’t exist, because it hadn’t yet emerged from the House. The House would then retroactively pass the Senate bill as is.”
So by using the “reconciliation” process, the Senate will only need 51 votes to pass their socialized healthcare bill!
Add to that the House Democrats’ attempts now to pass the Senate bill without a direct vote, using a procedure called a “self-executing rule;” if it’s used, the Senate healthcare reform bill will be “deemed” to have passed the House whenever the House passes a package of fixes to the Senate bill. But “deeming” is typically used as a convenience for issues that aren’t controversial. This week, “deem and pass” is being used by the Democrats to give their members cover for the biggest socialist vote of their careers.
Regardless of the fact that the biggest reason Republican Scott Brown was elected to Ted Kennedy’s old Senate seat was because he promised to help kill ObamaCare — Democrats are still willing to use more corrupt tactics to get it passed! In fact, the liberals on the far left have their own interpretation of why Brown won: “people want more change… bolder change… more populism… and the public option is that in this healthcare fight.” Check out this YouTube video where they state very clearly that the socialized healthcare “public option” is “back on the table” and will be passed by using the “reconciliation process” — because in their minds, that’s what “Americans want”!
Are they serious about using this trick to pass their bill? You BET they are. Nancy Pelosi, on a conference call with bloggers, said, “We will not be deterred from this course of getting something done one way or another, and I’m hoping it will… be mainly by passing the comprehensive bill. That’s our plan.”
And now, U.S. House and Senate leaders have agreed on legislative language to push forward Barack Obama’s proposed socialization of the nation’s health-care system, according to House Democratic Whip James Clyburn. They’re moving fast — so WE have to move even FASTER!
We CAN still stop ObamaCare, by STOPPING the Democrats from using the “reconciliation” and “deemed passed” parliamentary tricks… but we can’t do it without YOUR help!

The IRS will be empowered to check every month to ensure that every American meets Obama’s dictated health insurance standards.
The IRS is also empowered to levy fines on those not in compliance. Under existing federal law, refusal to follow the rules of the IRS can lead to imprisonment–or worse.
An analysis released yesterday by Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee estimates that 16,500 IRS agents will need to be hired to meet the expanded authority granted the IRS.

I just read a few articles concerning the 2010 census. All of them depict the US Census Bureau as yet another tentacle of the NWO octopus, devouring our constitutional rights like a whale scooping up krill. The most outrageous corruption of all is the Census Bureau’s assurance to illegal aliens that they have nothing to fear by filling out the 10 question, “fast & easy” 2010 Census form.
Excuse me, did I just arrive in the Land of Oz?
The CONSTITUTIONAL justification for taking a census every ten years is the head count for apportioning taxes or to determine the number of representatives in the House of Representatives. And that’s it. Do we really have to inform the US Census Bureau that the US Census ONLY applies to US citizens? Or do we now allow foreign nationals “residing’ within the United States, affect the determination of US tax dollar apportionment and the number of representatives in the US House of Representatives?

It would have to be a private low level individual to release that document. Bush and/or Cheney could theoretically pass it on but who knows if it can be traced to them. Search Operation Stillpoint which has been discussed here before. The corruption is so deep among the Elite there is a very real belief that we’re witnessing blackmail on an international scale. The Bushes Clintons and Obama any one else involved could very well be part of the overall mutually assured blackmail to achieve whatever ends they’re all after.

Two pro-life GOP members close to Stupak tell NRO that any Stupak deals are off. They just spoke with him and they said he’s finished with Pelosi. They rejected his enrollment corrections proposal.
I’d bet that means that Pelosi figured she’d lose more than she’d gain if she caved to Stupak this time. That may still mean she has the votes, but the effort to keep Stupak in the fold says Pelosi wasn’t confident of that.

The only thing that haven’t done yet with the so-called Health Care Reform (I haven’t seen reform, just total destruction) is use invisible ink on the thing. At the House Rules Committee meeting, Democrats desperate to pass their national health care plan are running into the barrier of basic civics. Here is the problem: The Senate has passed its HCR bill. If the House passes the same bill, it goes on to the president; once he signs it, the bill becomes law. But House Democrats, when they vote for the Senate bill using the “Deem & Pass” dodge, also want to simultaneously pass a package of amendments to the law. Except HCR will not, at that point, be law. It will only become law when the president signs it. Congress can amend the law — it does so all the time — but can it amend something that isn’t law?
Which is where Democrats are tripping up.

In my opinion, most politicians are being used and manipulated by multi-national corporations (run by inherently corrupt persons) who have nothing but evil intent for the U.S. The endgame is to weaken and cripple the U.S. The U.S. is the only country that stands in the way of government suppression of individual sovereignty. The U.S. has been the only society that has up until recently ensured the free will of the individual. This is rapidly coming to a close. In my humble opinion, the Christian faith is the only religion that also is based on the exercise of free will. This will soon come under assault unless something is done. Some politicians are aware and complicit, probably most are just stupid and ignorant enough to be useful idiots.
The only way we can turn this around is to dissolve this government and set up a new one that is not infected with corrupt people. Quite a task, but anything with GOD on our side is possible.

Only a complete horses a$$ thinks like him. Yes going to the doctor after you have become ill is what most people do. Going to the doctor regularly cannot always prevent an illness. Only a horses a$$ would think in such terms. By the way illegal aliens can still use the ER without penalty of any kind,yet citizens will face taxes upon the ER services provided that are reimbursed by the Government HC Coverage. This is all well and good, but what the hell are we supposed to do for healthcare coverage if it doesn’t start for a four year period, yet we are required to pay for it from day one,and if we don’t pay we will go to jail. It’s a waste of time and a cover up. How do you vote on amendments that are not part of a bill. Could our Founding Fathers voted on the Bill of Rights before voting on the Constitution or at least attaching the Amendments to the Constitution first. An Amendment has to be attached to a bill or law. The don’t mean anything if they are not attached.

don’t let them do that to your head. Civil Rights for all people was a hard fought battle for our Constitution. Women did not have rights then, religions weren’t tolerant, this was for all minority people -how about Oriental, American Indian etc.

IRS workers will also be affected by this madness. They need to issue a statement right now saying they “deem” this bill to violate the constitution and the law of the land. Therefore, they will in no way implement or enforce these mandates.
They need to get an injunction from a judge, barring them from acting on this bill.
We don’t need the Supreme Court to tell us this bill is illegal. We need massive refusal to carry this charade a step further.

I think Levin’s lawsuit is if they try to “deem” the bill passed without the vote…there not going to do that so they say…..Don’t trust them though…..if they pass the vote without the deeming then there will be a whole new lawsuit filed….that will be that the government can’t mandate health insurance must be bought by everyone who is a citizen of the USA….this is unconstitutional and the only way their corrupt and immoral bill will work!!

The already-passed Senate bill cannot legally be signed into law. This is the reconciliation bill, which had to be okayed by the House BEFORE the “reconciliation” changes can be made.
NOTHING new can be added to the reconciliation bill. ONLY provisions which are in the already-passed Senate bill and the already-passed House bill can be in the final reconciliation bill.
For the House to vote on the bill that has been posted as the reconciliation bill is an illegal trick just like the slaughter rule.
The ‘reconciliation bill’ CANNOT be signed into law until the both the Senate and the House have both again voted on the final changed bill.
If o. tries to sign either of the bills, lawsuits better be filed asap.
The dems wanted to cheat through reconciliation, even though the bill was dead. This whole show is just a trick to avoid filibuster.
If they cheat the reconciliation process, then the bill is just as dead.

I can believe dems will vote against this bill. Voting yes on this mess is not worth the trouble that they will face.
Voting no on THIS bill, does not mean they would not consider re-visiting the issue under more sane and legal conditions.
Voting no is a bigger plus with the American people. Voting no is a better option for their own futurs.
Voting yes just gets them in a huge legal mess, which will consume their lives.
They will be known for voting yes on a bill that is never enacted because the whole thing is unconstitutional and against the law . . for the rest of their lives.
Plus, the states are already nullifying the provisions. With that kind of strong message from the voters, people who vote yes are just plain self-destructive.
The destruction they are voting to bring on America will only come back into their own lives.
A yes vote just ain’t worth it.
But, I will rejoice to see them reap what they deserve.
I pray every minute of the rest of their lives will be spent giving depositions and answering questions and being held accountable for all the rules and laws they’ve broken.

Well, everyone, I look at it this way: If it passes, Barky and the Congress will be even more hated than they already are. Just watch Barky eclipse his negative poll numbers.
If, on the other hand, it’s defeated, that’s not only a defeat for His Niblets but the entire Congress, no matter how they voted. I do think that the people in this country are totally disgusted with the whole business, and fully intend to take the garbage out come November.

Every Yea vote in congress should face criminal charges of treason for that vote, as every last one of these members of congress know that they are openly acting against the will of the American majority, and subverting the constitutional legislative process in order to advance a wholly anti-American piece of legislation, which would NEVER pass by legitimate process.
What will take place in our nation’s capitol Sunday is not only unconstitutional, it is unconscionable.
There can be NO mistake at this point. The US Constitution is no longer in force or effect in Washington DC. The blue dog Democrat is dead, replaced by spineless so-called “moderates” easily bought or threatened into acts of treason against their constituents.
Republicans get no free-pass either. They had numerous opportunities to put a stop to all of this nonsense and simply lacked the intestinal fortitude to do so.
In my December 13th Open Call to Congressional Republicans, I begged Republicans to have the good sense and backbone to walk out of congress and call this sham of a government what it really is… John McCain was privately briefed on the call to action and his answer was, “Democrats didn’t walk out on us…”
Facing the most outrageous affront to American freedom and liberty in 235 years, if Republicans don’t walk out now, they deserve to wear the mark of the beast that every congressional Democrat will wear after tomorrow’s vote.
The Republican Nay vote is meaningless… If Republicans walk into that chamber tomorrow and participate in what they know is an unconstitutional process, they become a complicit party to the scam.
They should instead, refuse to legitimize the process by entering those chambers, and take up a pitchfork and torch beside the people outside shouting “Kill that Bill!”
What are the odds that there is a single member of congress with the integrity and backbone to do that?”

If the alleged reconciliation bill has added provisions — like student loans or bribes to other states besides Nebraska and LA, the alleged reconciliation bill is already invalid.
A Court can throw out the entire bill because of those violations of the reconciliation process.
Those violations absolutely show intent to defraud the American people, as well as the use illeagl means to sway the vote of the people’s representatives.
If o. signs a fraudulent bill, he is liable before the Court and can be indicted. (Cheers!)
Really, the changes to the ‘reconciliation bill’ most likely cannot even legally be addressed until after the sure passage of the already-passed Senate bill.
The Federal government does not have jurisdiction over healthcare to start with. Since the states are contesting the implementation of this bill, that fact is sure to come out in Court.
News to ‘yes’ voters: o. does not control ALL the courts and ALL the judges. You won’t get a free pass on the litigation.
Perhaps you are banking on some other kind of reward when you are not re-elected.
Being enmeshed in litigation which may last for years, out all kinds of dark secrets, and unleash whirlwinds of publicity about your discretions are not sterling recommendations for employment, even when the ‘fix’ is in.
Watch any implied promises of being “protected and taken care of” erode as swiftly and surely as o.’s “promises” of transparency, along with a host of his other lies.
Besides, 80% of the population will look upon you as lepers. We can think of NO reason or excuse for throwing our forebears under the bus.
That’s not even “historic.” Germany did that under Hitler.

Your actions regarding the reconciliation process and the healthcare bill are out of order and against our laws and our Constitution.
Cancel the scheduled House session. Read up on the procedures for reconciliation. Follow the correct procedures.

That statement already defeats you in Court. You knew you were committing crimes against the American people by acting outside the law.

Think again. I think we’re watching “Checkmate” in action. Why? Word is that Immigration “Reform” is the Obama Administration’s next goal,and that they intend on granting Amnesty to the illegals living here now. Estimates put that number at about15-30 million people. Assuming 90% of them would instantly become life-long loyal Democrat voters (And why wouldn’t they? They’ve just been given US citizenship and US Health Care by a Democrat), any massive “backlash” against the Democrats that appears to be developing right now will really only end up likely being more than countered by the massive increase in the total number of loyal Democrat voters that Amnesty will provide.

Schedule for Today’s Votes in the House of Representatives on Health Care

Here is the schedule for today’s votes in the House of Representatives on the Senate Health Care Bill (All times are Eastern Time):
2 p.m.: The House will debate for one hour the rules of debate for the reconciliation bill and the Senate bill.
3 p.m.: The House will vote to end debate and vote on the rules of the debate.
3:15 p.m.: The House will debate the reconciliation package for two hours.
5:15 p.m.: The House will vote on the reconciliation package.
5:30 p.m.: The House will debate for 15 minutes on a Republican substitute and then vote on the substitute.
6 p.m.: The House will vote on the final reconciliation package.
6:15 p.m.: If the reconciliation bill passes, the House will immediately vote on the Senate bill, without debate.
