With any national administration, you have to expect that 99% of what they do is right or at least tolerable. Then you expend your energy on “loyal opposition” and other corrective measures to try to fix the few outliers. In this case, EVERYTHING these effing idiots do is effed up. There are not enough of US to keep THEM in line. Everywhere you look, some part of America is being destroyed. Every rock you turn over – more maggots.

This one is REALLY serious, folks.

    Over 700,000 now! GO SCOTT!

  11. SueK-I’m so jealous of you guys in MA with Scott Brown-altho we have Lt Col West coming up in our next election. I just looked at Scott’s whole site-I loved the comments from the folks, very heartfelt and sincere. I like the parts where he goes to the factories, visits with the business people, out on the streets, in the neighborhoods, essentially where the action is and the good people are. Not like some people in DC who think the are elitists (boring, DOA, folks that you would not want to meet in a dark alley). Exactly who do they think they are superior to, the people who pay their salaries?

  12. truthbetold11

Scott, when he speaks actually sounds normal and not in liberal jiberish. Thats why coakley is trying to run out the clock. He gains 3 points tonite watch

  13. It is disgusting the need for money to be elected. The word of mouth is free. We The People!!!!

  15. truthbetold11 @ 5:58 pm
I just realized that myself. Scott talks with the people and that is so refreshing. He presents his ideas in a thoughtful articulate way and he keeps it simple, because actually it is simple.
Obama on the other hand lectures at people and/or pontificates some meaningless nonsense. I would be the first to admit when he is done talking I have no idea what he said or what he meant, just boring gibberish with some ten dollar words scattered about in an attempt to make him look intelligent. I think it is done on purpose to make people fell inferior.

  17. Patriot Dreamer,

Thank you so much for posting that link to Politico! When I got home, I did a search for my name, in case anyone had any questions. I found your comment in which you reassured people, having relied on research I provided earlier, you knew the Politico article about a new poll showing AG MC up by several points, was wrong.

Well, I went right over to Politico and posted 1) a comment rebutting the new poll; and 2) a reply to another commenter who mistakenly said, ‘More than 50% of MA voters are registered Independent.’ Of course, as you know, it’s the Unenrolled voters who are over 50%!

  18. Hi PD,

Just rolling in from work and didn’t believe this figure:

    This is totally amazing!

  19. CWers,

    Scott just did it!

They just made their 2nd goal of 750,000!!! And it looks like the money is still rolling in! GO SCOTT!

    Hi Michelle,

Jeeze, I think I need a personal fan. I haven’t been this excited since we landed on the Moon…

Scott is a regular guy, as is his wife. I met Gail Huff in the ladies’ room in court a few years ago (I spend a lot of time in court!) and I asked her how she keeps her complexion so gorgeous. We had a nice chat about beauty basics….

They’re a down-to-earth couple with down-to-earth daughters, and never talk down to anyone. He’s one of us, unlike the MA delegation that’s in there now.

Please keep us posted on Lt. Col. West…I have a few bucks to send him, too :).

  52. CBS News was on.
I thought I was in a foreign country, they said the honeymoon was over with Obama. They are a little late with that one-months late. I disagree with the 8/10 of Dems approve of Obama I think it’s more like 4/10 if that.
President Obama’s job approval rating has fallen to 46 percent, according to a new CBS News poll.
That rating is Mr. Obama’s lowest yet in CBS News polling, and the poll marks the first time his approval rating has fallen below the 50 percent mark. Forty-one percent now say they disapprove of Mr. Obama’s performance as president.
In last month’s CBS News poll, 50 percent of Americans approved of how the president was handling his job, while thirty-nine percent disapproved.
Analysis: The Irony Behind Obama’s Poll Numbers
Mr. Obama still receives strong support from Democrats (eight in ten approve of his performance), but his approval rating among Republicans is only 13 percent. More importantly, Mr. Obama’s approval rating among independents has declined 10 points in recent months – and it now stands at just 42 percent.
Domestic issues – and not his response to terrorist threats – appear to be driving the president’s approval rating downward.
Just 41 percent now approve of his handling of the economy, which Americans say is the nation’s most pressing issue. Forty-seven percent disapprove. The president’s marks on handling health care, with reforms still under debate in Congress, are even lower – just 36 percent approve, while 54 percent disapprove. Both of these approval ratings are the lowest of Mr. Obama’s presidency.;contentBody

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 26% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15 (see trends).

  67. Linda from NY

I hope and pray the voters in MA can see what a dork Creepy Cockroach Coakley is!

She has no idea about what she is talking. She talks around all of the issues without understanding the ramifications of what she proposes. She talks out of both sides of her mouth; she says she cares about seniors, but she will pass a bill that will cut their benefits.

Kennedy speaks well and adds to the debate because he speaks to the problems we face in our nation and supports Brown on many of the issues.

Brown has been forceful when accused by Coakley of false statements; he comes across as a genuinely caring person as well. He remains on the offense while Coakley is frequently on the defense as she misconstrues the facts.

SueK…I await your valuable input on this debate.

    Happy Night…Linda

I was bloggin’ on the debate..the posts were coming fast!

Stats said that Scott won 75%. I think we have a little what they call ‘momentum’ goin’ here!

  73. Thanks guys…I found it on CW’s opening paragraph…DUUUUUH…..
He kept sayin:”…and that’s the difference between marthur ‘n’ me”….haaaa!
The Croaker is even with Kennedy in the poll.
    Brown is at 77%!

  74. Martha was too glib and Scott showed “fire in the belly”. The voters will see through the Kennedy stunt.

  75. Linda from NY // January 11, 2010 at 7:57 pm

    Hi Linda,

Wow, I needed my inhaler after that!

First of all, Gergen was a bad choice; his bias toward Maatha was very obvious. He didn’t let Scott finish his answers and pretty much kicked Kennedy to the curb. Never thought much of the dude, anyway.

Maatha was lost-she sounded like a typical MA hack (which she is). Joe had some good answers and if for nothing else, has made a name for himself (other than ‘Kennedy’). I think he should run for the MA Senate or the House. I like him. He makes sense; not like Maatha who was tripping all over the place.

I think that Scott nailed it, especially with the economy and defense. That’s where Maatha is weak. I just wish old Dave would’ve let him make his points rather than cutting him off.

Did you notice that Scott got the tough questions, and Maatha got the powderpuff ones?

Scott was tewtally on the offensive; Maatha on the defensive, and Joe was just trying to make a point.

I give this one to Scott, hands down!

  76. $907,033.68 at 8:24PM. He’s gonna bust a million, folks :).

  77. It will be interesting to hear what the 11 pm news pundits have to say about Scott, Joe and Moth-a

  78. Hey SueK, I just saw Micheal Goldman on TV for the first time. I have heard him on the radio for years. He is huge! He has a beard but his voice is like PeeWee Herman…what a shocker…anyway Scott Brown did a great job!

  79. magna carta // January 11, 2010 at 8:13 pm

    Hey Magna,

You may have noticed in your calling that we tend to drop the ‘r’ that belongs at the end of a word, and add it when there’s no ‘r’ there: Martha(r), Lisa(r), idea(r); motha, fatha, sista, brotha.

    We’re a funny lot, aren’t we???

  80. LM 827–does that mean one has to believe he’s the prez?

  81. SueK–guess I should have said Moth-ar! Thanks for the correction.

  82. Hey Greg,

Have never seen Mike, so I’ll take your word for it. Big guy, little voice…love it!

Yup, Scott did a great job, IMO!

  83. Linda from NY

I agree Gurgle was rude to Scott and powderpuffed Cockroach. Boy…did she show her true colors as well as her ignorance.

I hope the MA voters saw through her…sounds like they did.

Did think Scott was confident and put her in her place quite a few times with respect to her erroneous accusations.

Bet you nearly fell off the chair when she said, “Scott, you’re a lawyer…blah, blah, blah.”

And…Scott corrected Gurgle about the newspaper article…”I don’t know what newspaper you read that in, but that is not true!”

She was scrambling and babbling…both Brown and Kennedy at least completed their sentences…LOL…they had more of a command on the issues. Loved it when Scott said…Mawtha, you said you are going to raise taxes, and she said…no no no…we’re going to get more from the people when we create jobs. Well…how is she going to create those jobs? She had no answer.

I can tell you one thing, Suey, I wouldn’t hire her as my lawyer.

You must be elated! You might have trouble sleeping…just count the Sheeples…lol.

  84. twe // January 11, 2010 at 8:31 pm

    My pleasure, twe.

I promise to continue to travel amongst my people, picking up more good examples of bad diction….

Believe it or not, when I went to airline school back in the ’70s, they put me in ‘diction class’ because they couldn’t understand me. I still can’t talk right, even with all that edjucasion :).

Yes, I notice Palin was going to contribute on Fox.

What is that about? Any ideas why she would do that?

    Happy Night…Linda

    PS Missed you…where ya been?

  86. Hi Linda,

While Palin has natural talent, she needs much more experience to run in 2012. This is a way to accomplish both experience and continued exposure. I think she is and will be getting a lot of off stage support. This is just the beginning.

  87. Another way of saying “she’s being groomed”.
