Representative Parker Griffith of Alabama announces his switch from the Democrat to Republican party.
Parker Griffith did not just vote against the Health care bill and other harmful legislation, he sent a strong signal that the Democrat party is not good for this country.

“Rep. Parker Griffith, a freshman Democrat from Alabama, announced Tuesday that he is switching parties to become a Republican.
“I believe our nation is at a crossroads and I can no longer align myself with a party that continues to pursue legislation that is bad for our country, hurts our economy, and drives us further and further into debt,” Griffith, 67, said at a press conference at his home, according to the Associated Press.
Some aren’t surprised by Griffith’s switch. He has voted against all major Democratic initiatives this year, including the stimulus, cap and trade and health care bills.
He’s also spoken out against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, saying that he would not vote for her to be speaker again.”
“A radiation oncologist, Griffith cited the Democrats’ health care plans as a reason for his switch. He was one of 39 Democrats to vote against the bill in the House last month.
“I want to make it perfectly clear that this bill is bad for our doctors,” he said at the press conference, according to the AP. “It’s bad for our patients. It’s bad for the young men and women who are considering going into the health care field.”
“The success of Republicans in the off-year elections last month also appears to be a reason for his decision to switch parties. Griffith told Politico then that he wanted to be called an independent Blue Dog, not a Democrat. “I should be nervous,” he added.”
“When a Member of Congress decides to leave a 258 seat majority to join a deep minority, it is a sure sign that the majority party has become completely disconnected from seniors, young workers, and families in America,” Cantor said in a statement. “We welcome Parker Griffith to the Republican Conference, and will continue to stand and fight against the damaging agenda of this Administration working in tandem with the Pelosi/Reid run Congress.”
“Parker Griffith is a dedicated public servant who has consistently put the best interests of his constituents first, and it is in that spirit that Republicans welcome him,” Boehner added. “With today’s decision, Congressman Griffith has added his voice to the growing chorus of Americans who have had it with Democrats’ wrong-headed policies and lack of leadership.””

I can tell by the desperation and nervous excitement in the leg of Chris Matthews of MSNBC that things are about ready to explode. We are almost ready for the MELTDOWN.
Obamacare is a major line in the sand for me, and I’m sure with most Americans also.
If Obamacare gets passed, I will not submit to it no matter what the consequences are.
The way I see it, Obamacare is unconstitutional and if the government or anyone the government sends to try and push me into submitting to Obamacare, I will push back harder. I also will not be allowing myself to be arrested for not signing up to this so called healthcare plan. I plan on fighting.

Stupak: White House Pressuring Me to Keep Quiet on Abortion Language in Senate Health Bill

Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) (AP Photo)(CNSNews.com) – Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) said the White House and the Democratic leadership in the House of Representatives have been pressuring him not to speak out on the “compromise” abortion language in the Senate version of the health care bill.
“They think I shouldn’t be expressing my views on this bill until they get a chance to try to sell me the language,” Stupak told CNSNews.com in an interview on Tuesday. “Well, I don’t need anyone to sell me the language. I can read it. I’ve seen it. I’ve worked with it. I know what it says. I don’t need to have a conference with the White House. I have the legislation in front of me here.”
The Michigan Democrat succeeded last month in getting 64 House Democrats to join him in attaching his pro-life amendment to the House version of the health-care bill. The “Stupak amendment,” as the provision is known, would prohibit the federal government from allocating taxpayer money to pay for any part of any health insurance plan that covers abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is in danger.
Stupak had contact with the White House last weekend, when the Senate voted 60 to 40 in the wee hours of Monday morning to shut off debate on the Senate version of the bill.
The current version of the Senate bill contains so-called “compromise” language crafted by Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.). This language does not bar taxpayer funding of health plans that cover abortion, but does create a firewall to supposedly keep federal money from being used to pay for abortions. Over the weekend, Stupak issued a statement calling the proposed Senate language “unacceptable.”
“A review of the Senate language indicates a dramatic shift in federal policy that would allow the federal government to subsidize insurance policies with abortion coverage,” said the statement.
In his interview with CNSNews.com on Tuesday, Stupak said that the White House “asked me just to hold off for awhile and not to say anything about this language. But as soon as the news broke that they had this [compromise], and they got the 60 votes, folks were asking me, and I’m not going to run from the issue I’m going to stand up and say, ‘Look, here’s my objections.’ Here – it’s not just my objections – but there’s a number of my [colleagues] who feel strongly about this issue, and these are the parts that have to be fixed.”
Stupak said he is not alone in being pressured from the White House and the House Democratic leadership – other pro-life Democratic colleagues apparently are, as well. But they plan to hold firm, he said.
“We’re getting a lot of pressure not to say anything, to try to compromise this principle or belief,” Stupak said. “[T]hat’s just not us. We’re not going to do that. Members who voted for the Stupak language in the House – especially the Democrats, 64 Democrats that voted for it – feel very strongly about it. It’s been part of who we are, part of our make up. It’s the principle belief that we have. We are not just going to abandon it in the name of health care.”
When asked if he has the votes he needs to stop the bill if, in its final version, it does not include the language of his amendment or nearly identical language, Stupak did not answer directly.
“Well, if all the issues are resolved and we’re down to the pro-life view or, I should say, no public funding for abortion, there’s at least 10 to 12 members who have said, repeatedly, unless this language is fixed and current law is maintained, and no public funding for abortion,” said Stupak. “There’s 10 or 12 of us, and they only passed the bill by 3 votes, so they’re going to be short 8 to 9, maybe 6 to 8 votes. So they [Democrats] do not have the votes to pass it in the House.”
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said he wants a vote on a final bill before Christmas. After that, a House-Senate conference could convene in early January to merge the Senate and House versions of the bill and lead to a final vote by both chambers.

Would anyone among you claim to be smarter than White House Counsel Bob Bauer? Would any of you claim to know more about Barack Obama than Mr. Bauer, who before he was appointed WH Counsel was not only Counsel to the DNC Services Corporation but also “Obama for America,” Mr. Obama’s Presidential campaign? Yet, even Mr. Bauer admitted to federal court Judge Robertson in Hollister v. Soetoro in January 2009, the best evidence he could come up with to indicate his client is a NBC is 1) his statement that Mr. Obama “publicly produced a certified copy of a birth certificate showing that he was born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu Hawaii.” (Attorney Bauer never provided this document for the court.) 2) Annenberg Political Fact Check saw that document, “concluding that the birth certificate is genuine, and noting a contemporaneous birth announcement published in a Honolulu newspaper.” (Attorney Bauer never provided this ‘newspaper’ document for the court, either; or an affidavit from APFC verifying they had said what he said they said.)
In other words, the best case Attorney Bauer could come up with to establish his client’s credentials for President were his word to the court BO is for real; and his word to the court that APFC said, his client is for real.
For what legitimate reason would anyone continue to defend any aspect of BO’s Presidency, in light of these facts?

The caller — who was identified as “Barry from D.C.” — said he had “questions about traffic in Northern Virginia.” He thanked Kaine for his public service — the governor leaves office next month — and then said he thought the governor wasn’t the real honcho in the Kaine family.
“We continue to think that you’re wife is probably a little superior to you,” needled “Barry,” who called Kaine during his final appearance on his “Ask the Governor” program on WTOP, a Washington-area radio station.

(December 21, 2009, NASHVILLE) — On Monday, State Representatives Susan Lynn (R-Lebanon) and Debra Young Maggart (R-Hendersonville) asked Tennessee State Attorney General Robert Cooper to prepare to take the appropriate legal action against the federal government in the event HR 3200, the controversial federal healthcare reform legislation, passes into law. The legislators requested this action in order to grant Tennessee relief from the unfunded mandate contained in the bill that Tennessee complies with the expansion of the federal Medicaid program.
The letter notes that under the bill Tennessee would be forced to expand the state’s Medicaid program potentially costing the citizens of the state $1.4 billion dollars in additional state taxpayer funds annually.
“Such an increase would place a great burden on the citizens of this state. It is clear by the wording of the legislation itself that not every state would face a similar and equal burden,” stated Rep. Debra Maggart.
Lynn explained that, “We see this as a violation of equal protection of the law, an affront to our sovereignty, and as a breach of the U.S. Constitution.”
Lynn and Maggart noted that the passage of this bill is imminent so it is important that the AG prepare now to take immediate action, and they referenced Governor Bredesen’s recent comment that “we can’t print money.” The great issue for the states is that states are not allowed to borrow money for operations expenses. “Obviously, this is something that many in Washington just don’t understand,” stated Lynn.

The report, requested by House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, D-Mich., also found that no voters who were allegedly registered to vote improperly cast any ballots.
The report comes as the federal government and the California law enforcement officials are probing the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now — a group that President Obama worked with in the early 1990s.
The CRS said officials have probed ACORN 46 times.
Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, has asked Conyers to hold hearings to scrutinize ACORN’s activities but Conyers has declined.
ACORN came under fire in September when a series of undercover videos showed a couple posing as a pimp and prostitute receiving advice from ACORN employees on how to evade tax laws. offices.
The CRS report indicated that the filming may have violated laws in Maryland and California, where some of the taping was done. The CRS study says both states “appear to ban private recording of face to face conversations absent the consent of all the participants.”
Congress has voted to strip ACORN of federal funding. But a federal judge ruled this month that the move was unconstitutional — a decision that the Justice Department is appealing.
The CRS indicated that courts “may have sufficient basis” to rule that unconstitutional. The Constitution bans “bills of attainder,” laws that specifically target one group or person.

The Earth goes through heating and cooling cycles and has since it was created; it is not unusual to have fluctuations in temperature over a period of time.
Man has contributed very little to the global heat balance; the Earth is capable of righting itself, and does so on a constant basis.
Do we need to take care of out planet? Sure we do, but the contribution humans have made to any ‘global warming’ is miniscule.
It’s much more logical to take a look at cloud cover, water vapor in the atmosphere and our heat engine Old Sol for the answers.

Dec 21 was the deadline and as far as I know the DOH has refused to release that which must be released according to the OIP, Office of Information Practices, I think. Anyway Hawaii is having an internal battle in an effort to cover for the Fraud, one department against the other. This could get ugly, I hope. The State of Hawaii is covering up information their own laws say must be released. Now Hawaii is afraid Obama will punish them financially if they divulge any information about the usurper. They’ve got the goods on Obama and they are afraid of the White House.

Our current president, back when he was a “community organizer” for ACORN, a state senator, and an adjunct law professor, was indiscrete and up to all sorts of shennanigans by all accounts. He not only sat in the pews at Trinity United Church gleefully taking in all the hatred and paranoid delusions of Jeremiah Wright, but like many black men at Trinity he’d then find somewhere up north to “unwind” when fiery sermons couldn’t quench the same thirsts as, say, nights spent at the baths. In Chicago, guys in their late 40s and early 50s, who admit they used to go to bathhouses, love talking about a skinny black guy with big ears who said he was a “state rep”, whenever he’d go to Man’s Country to be serviced by white men there.
We’re in our 30s here and have never set foot in Man’s Country. But, go to Sidetracks on Showtunes nights, Little Jim’s or Northend on Halsted, or the Lucky Horseshoe at Belmont and talk to guys who’ve lived the scene, been there, done that, and will admit to being lifelong fans of Man’s Country.
They’ve got stories to tell, believe us.
The thing is, despite both Man’s Country and Steamworks (the two bathhouses in Chicago) being in business for DECADES, and doing fairly well, even in this economy, few people here will admit they’ve ever been there. Since they won’t admit they’ve gone there, they don’t want to be quoted talking about anyone else going there either. Absolutely none of them will go on record being the guy who talks about that skinny, effeminate, black “state rep” who liked having white men give him fellatio (but never reciprocated, the stories go).

Maddie, I saw an article at the Post and Email by John Charlton where the OIP in Hawaii told the DOH they must release info that the DOH refuses to release. Dec 21 was the deadline and as far as I know the DOH has refused to release that which must be released according to the OIP, Office of Information Practices, I think. Anyway Hawaii is having an internal battle in an effort to cover for the Fraud, one department against the other. This could get ugly, I hope. The State of Hawaii is covering up information their own laws say must be released. Now Hawaii is afraid Obama will punish them financially if they divulge any information about the usurper. Yup, I did notice, and they recalled another lot last week-said it wasn’t ‘strong enough.’
They didn’t get the turnout they wanted with this vaccine because I think that people remember the fiasco of the 1976 swine flu, and can see that this one hasn’t had enough time to be tested properly, and savvy consumers know what’s in this vaccine.
Add to that the fact that Guillian-Barre syndrome has started to be reported in those who got the H1N1 vaccine, just like in 1976.
You’ll never convince me that this vaccine in any form, is safe.

Well, looks like we survived the vermin attack last night.
Honestly though, when one of ‘them’ sneaks through, it’s best to just ignore the post and move on. Confronting, challenging, and answering them only makes it worse, as we saw for approximately 5 hours last night.
