Doug Hoffman, No recount, Election over, Sequoia voting machines, Count errors, Voter fraud, Nancy Pelosi, NY district 23, Bill Owens broke 4 campaign promises

Doug Hoffman, who narrowly lost the congressional race in NY District 23 to Bill Owens, has declared that the election is over and there will be no recount. This comes after numerous errors were committed election night, Nancy Pelosi certifying Bill Owens the winner, before he was certified by the state of New York, in time to vote for the Health Care Bill, and known software bugs or tampering with of the controversial Sequoia voting machines.

Doug Hoffman, on one level this was your decision to make. However, we are in different times. This is not the country your parents knew.

We have entered a new world, a post Nazi takeover, Orwellian world where being polite or naively playing the gentleman card as Nevile Chamberlain did with the Germans, will result in catastrophe. On a higher level, Mr. Hoffman, this is the decision of New York residents and ultimately the American people. Regardless of your actions or your next move, this serious breach of the public trust, must be investigated. As I and others have stated, Barack Obama, the Obama camp and Obama thugs, including, but not limited to ACORN and SEIU, stole the Democratic primaries and caucuses through election fraud and intimidation. With warnings issued early in 2008 about voting machines and possible control of them by Chavez’s Venezuela or muslim countries, and now the evidence from the NY District 23 election, God only knows the extent that voting machines altered vote counts in 2008. We must protect our elections going forward.

We must have an investigation.

Dear Friends,
Today, Tuesday, November 24, 2009, it is with a heavy heart that we declare this election over.  We will formally end this election and not ask for a recount.  This was a difficult choice to make because so many people have put their faith, hope and aspirations into our campaign.
Yes, there seem to have been many vote counting problems, missed vote counts and, as was recently reported by the Gouvernour Times, software problems in the computerized voting machines. Despite these incidents, I do not believe the voters of NY-23, or New Yorkers in general, would be well-served by a disruptive and costly recount that would most likely not change the election outcome.
I know many are disappointed and even angry. To those I say now is not the time to look back, but to focus on the future and ensure that next year we win back this district decidedly. Know this decision was not an easy one. I did not want to let down those who worked so hard, donated so much and shared their enthusiasm for retaking our country with common-sense conservative values.
And rest assured, our energies are now directed toward 2010. This election, in which a third party candidate narrowly lost, showed that principles do matter.  Special interests do have an Achilles’ heel, the American people. Main-street conservatism’s voice is now echoing through the government chambers and boardrooms that shape America. By most measures, this campaign was a success and I have you all to thank for this. And all of us have to thank the Conservative Party of New York State for nominating a candidacy like ours.
We take away lessons from this year’s campaign that will make us stronger and more competitive in the future. Next time we will be better prepared. Many people forget that our campaign only began in earnest three months ago. Most campaigns of this stature take at least a year to prepare. In three months, we almost toppled an entrenched political system and successfully defied the conventional thinking of the elite political punditry. Citizen government is making a comeback in America.
I thank everyone who participated in this campaign and urge each one of you to stand with me in the future. We have a calling that we must answer. My opponent in this race quickly abandoned the promises he made to his voters. Within the first hour of being sworn in by Nancy Pelosi, Bill Owens broke 4 campaign promises — so much for change in Washington. We must resoundingly defeat him next year and, with your help, I promise to help restore our nation’s faith in elected officials when we win.
But there is more to do than just win back NY-23 in 2010. We must work to help other like-minded citizen candidates win across the country.  We need to make time to help other candidates who are working for the principles we hold dear — other fiscal, common-sense conservatives.  Together we can successfully take back our great nation, one legislator and one member at a time. We need more than one common-sense conservative voice in the echo chamber of liberal, spend thrift cacophony if we are to redirect our great country.
I would also like to commend those election commission officials who worked tirelessly and may have taken offense to an unfortunate and poorly worded fundraising email that was sent out toward the end of our campaign.  As we tried to make sense of the false vote counts and stories of software viruses in the voting machines, we never intended to imply the election commissioners had somehow acted improperly. This was never our intention and, on the contrary, the election commissioners went above and beyond to uphold their duty to ensure a fair election took place. I owe them a debt of gratitude for all they have done.
So where to now? Full speed ahead to 2010. This gives us time to carefully articulate and communicate thoughtful positions on issues that impact the great people of our district and ensure that our campaign promises are NOT broken.  Best of all, it allows me to work hand-in-hand with the many supporters who shared their ideas, their concerns and their dreams with me.
We need to continue to stand united because we cannot spend our way out of recession or tax our way to prosperity. We must continue to fight to protect our liberties and protect those who are yet to be born.  We must protect our country against terrorists and protect the sanctity of marriage. We must fix our corrupt tax code, our immigration policy and our educational system.  Most of all, we must defend the free enterprise system that made America the greatest and most prosperous country in the world.  Although I’m conceding an election today, I do it with the certainty that we will win back this seat a year from now.  I am certain of this because our mission is too big, the country’s problems too dire and the American people are too smart.
Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do. “We the people” are retaking America.

Doug Hoffman, this is bigger than you or the election in NY. We are at a crucial point in the history of this country. The actions we take now will determine the security and pursuit of life, liberty and happiness that our descendants and ultimately the entire world will enjoy.

Mr. Hoffman, you have chosen to end the election. I urge you to not end the cause.

  1. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 26% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15. This is the second straight day at -15, the lowest Approval Index rating yet measured for President Obama.

Doug Hoffman’s letter was a well-thought out commentary of what transpired in NY-23.

While you may not agree with his decision to halt any further re-counts or inquiries, I can see the wisdom in his thought process. Instead of wasting time in the present, he thinks it would be far better to concentrate on 2010.

Doug Hoffman is no fool even though he might have come across as an inept politician, but that is the point…he is not a politician. He, like Sarah Palin, believes this election is far bigger than just one conservative in NY. He sees the “big picture” and the enormous amount of work that needs to be done in the coming year not only to take back this seat, but as many seats in the Congress as possible.

I do not believe he is deterred from his goal in the slightest. I believe he must rally Conservatives across the nation to “take back our country” from those who would destroy it.

Make no mistake…he sees the urgency as much as we do but as the good businessman he is, he sees the reality. Wasted effort now will produce no results in the near future…even if he managed to secure the seat now, he would have to rerun in 2010. There is no time to go to court…to tie up this seat in court for the next year…it will produce no result let alone a favorable result. He thinks it is better to concentrate our efforts on the 2010 Election instead of wasting time on a re-count now.

Whether or not you agree with his decision, he has made it official. Nothing can change that now…so let’s concentrate our effort, as he is, on the 2010 Election…we have much to do.

    Carry on Patriots…Linda

  6. CW – I would like to hope that Hoffman not taking a “Sour Grapes” attitude will help him to win by a landslide in 2010. In another year the voters under this regime will really be in a sour mood.

  8. CW,

makes me wonder whether or not someone has “gotten” to him. You know it happens. Happened to Ron Paul, Ross Perot and others. They weigh the odds of what’s really important to them and usually bow out.

  9. As long as Candidates continue to give in to the Corruption that is in our elections, we will reap more corruption in every election to follow. I am very disappointed in Doug Hoffman for giving up the fight for what was just and right and even more disgusted with the major players in the Conservative movement for not coming to his aid when the major fraud surfaced. That being said, now is the time to step up and secure measures to stop this before the 2010 elections. Paper ballots, scanners, checks & balances at the polls are a few of the things that will help.

  10. I think the reality is that if we do not get the voting machine software tampering and other election fraud exposed and eliminated, our efforts in 2010 could be forfeit as well.

One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up — fireman, mechanic, businessman, salesman, doctor, lawyer, and so forth.
However, little Kevin K. was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher prodded him about his father, he finally replied, ‘Okay…my father’s an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and stay with him all night for money.’
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and then took little Kevin K. aside to ask him,
‘Is that really true about your father?’
‘No’, the boy said, ‘He actually works for the Democratic National Committee and helped get Barack Obama elected President last year, but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the class.’

  12. Linda.
Regardless, this needs to be investigated.

  13. Joy,

Well stated. Couldn’t agree with you more. And the fact, as you say, no one in the Conservative movement came to his aid is even more telling.

  15. Citizen Wells, I agree with you totally. If this is ignored, there is no hope for an honest, open, and objective election. More actions need to be taken, other than just discussions of the problems we are facing!!!!

  17. EXCELLENT read: article by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, former Asst. Sec’y Treasurer under Regan, on the trial of KSM in NY, and the judicial fallout that will Americans will realize from it.

    Full article here:

Originally, according to the US government, Osama bin Laden was the mastermind of 9/11. To get bin Laden is the excuse given for the US invasion of Afghanistan, which set up the invasion of Iraq. But after eight years of total failure to catch Osama bin Laden, it became absolutely necessary to convict some culprit…

Unfortunately, there will be no such sensible outcome. The prosecution doesn’t need any evidence, because no judge and no jury is going to let the demonized “mastermind of 9/11” off. No judge or juror wants to be forever damned by the brainwashed American public or assassinated by right-wing crazies.

The price that Mohammed will pay will be small compared to the price we Americans will pay. The outcome of Mohammed’s trial will complete the transformation of the US legal system from a shield of the people into a weapon in the hands of the state.

The twisted logic necessary to disentangle Mohammed’s torture from his confession will also be upheld and will “provide a blueprint for the government, giving them the prize they’ve been after all this time–a legal way both to torture and to prosecute.”

It took Hitler a while to corrupt the German courts. Hitler first had to create new courts, like President George W. Bush’s military tribunals, that did not require evidence, using in place of evidence hearsay, secret charges, and self-incrimination obtained by torture.

Every American should be concerned that the Obama administration has decided to use Mohammed’s trial to complete the corruption of the American court system.

When Mohammed’s trial is over, an American Joe Stalin or Adolf Hitler will be able to convict America’s Founding Fathers on charges of treason and terrorism.

Agree…no reason to believe it will not. There is more than one way to carve a Turkey!

Investigations take time, and we have little time to secure future prospects for 2010. Not saying an investigation is a waste of time; just saying we do not have time to waste.

We need to secure voting places, voting machines, and voting integrity. We need to secure good candidates and support them. We need to WIN in 2010, and time is NOT on our side.

The TRUTH will come to LIGHT, and everyone will know what to do IMHO.

We have been complaining about ACORN for over a year, and it wasn’t until they tried to discard records that we actually got a break.

Doug Hoffman wants to concentrate on what he can do to affect change and not the things he cannot change IMHO. Others need to take up the INVESTIGATION; he cannot do it all himself.

PS No one here can be more disappointed than I am except, of course, another NYker. I live in a Blue State that is competing with CA for the “Deficit of the Year” Award. We have paid the highest taxes in the nation for years…for what? And now, our wealthy businessmen who could create jobs are leaving in droves.

Our Attorney General was the best in the nation until they side-lined him. Our current Attorney General wants to run for Governor…why? So we can have more of the same?

If they opened the books here, they would find as much corruption here as in the Corrupt Cesspool of Chicago. And…who is going to open the books? Democrats? Nah!

The Republicans, Independents, and Conservatives are numerous in this state. They need to step up to the plate and put an end to the tax and spend Democratic Regime here!

  19. Michelle-re: Gore and Global Warming “cooked” data. This needs to be investigated also, from what is coming out it looks like more are involved-profit seekers-Goldman Sachs again????
Another crux: Can you imagine faulty data in every product that you purchase/use. Chinese wallboard, lead in paint children’s toys, poisoned dog food, tainted milk (China alone), the food that you purchase, the car that you drive, an airplane trip-this faulty/skewed data list could go on forever. Our government has forgotten that there is an invisible bond between them and WE THE PEOPLE it is called trust. People trusted Madoff, Enron, Obama, DNC, their government another list which could go on forever. Solution: all not worthy of trust-if a crime was committed-arrested-tried-imprisoned. New people in positions of trust, we will find them and support them. The status quo of lying should end today.

Oh, boy….H5N1 reported by WHO on Tuesday has many concerned about the outcome of it mixing with the H1N1.

    snipped from:

Zhong Nanshan, director of the Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Diseases in China’s southern Guangdong province, said the presence of BOTH VIRUSES IN CHINA meant they COULD MIX and become a MONSTROUS HYBRID — a bug packed with strong killing power that can transmit efficiently among people.

The World Health Organization warned on Tuesday that H5N1 had erupted in poultry in Egypt, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, posing once again a threat to humans.

“The most obvious risk is of H5N1 combining with the pandemic … (H1N1) virus, producing a flu virus that is as deadly as the former and as contagious as the latter.”

  21. CW,
I know that his decision is disappointing, but fighting the corruption that is this deep and entrenched will take time. He will run again next year and I believe that he is choosing his battle with focus. It is extremely difficult to fight on several fronts. NYer’s need to stand behind him and ask that the machines used to vote be banned. Go back to paper ballots. This is what should be done now, IMHO, before the next election. So what about it NYer’s? Rep. Mike Pence: Preserving the Real Revolution

This is a speech Congressman Mike Pence gave over the weekend. Below is just an excerpt of it. Great Read!

“Clearly we’ve had it. But we see here tonight and at town hall meetings, tea party rallies across this country, and in the march on Washington in Washington, D.C., it is not the orchestrated theater of liberal special interest groups. It’s authentic and it’s powerful and it’s real and it’s American. And the American people know this is not just about dollars and cents, it’s about who we are as a nation.

“That became very clear to me about one year ago this weekend. It was in the aftermath of that Wall Street bailout vote. Along with a majority of House Republicans, I opposed that bailout not once, but twice. I just thought it was wrong to take $700 billion from Main Street and transfer it to Wall Street to pay for the bad decisions that had been made there.

“You remember how it went. We stopped that bill once but the White House passed it over in the Senate, brought it back and rolled us. After it passed, I got on a plane to fly back to Indiana. Now you can probably tell that I’m a pretty upbeat guy, but that Saturday morning I was a little bit down. I was heartsick about what I’d seen our country do. But I had promised to speak at a Boy Scout jamboree in New Castle, Indiana, and I meant to keep that promise.

“You know the scene. It was a cold October Saturday morning, a line of Boy Scouts, ties pulled to the side, one shirttail out, standing up straight. I gave them my best speech about American history and then a few adults waited to talk to me afterwards. A lot of them talked about the bailout vote from the day before, about where the economy was headed.

“But there was one man standing off to the side, modestly dressed. And when the other adults dispersed, he walked up to me, hat in hand, and said words I’ll never forget. He said, ‘Congressman, I’d seen in the newspaper that you were going to be out here. I lost my job yesterday, but I came out here to thank you for voting against that Wall Street bailout.’ I looked at him and I said, ‘Well, I’m sorry for your trouble, but I have to tell you, I admire your stand.’ And that American looked me in the eye that cold October morning and said words that are now chiseled on my heart. He said, ‘Congressman, I came by to thank you because I can get another job, but I can’t get another country.’

“Let us do as generations of Americans have done before, let us stand for what has always been the source of American greatness: our faith in God and our freedom. And if we hold that banner high, I believe with all my heart, the good and great people of this land will rally to our cause. We will take this Congress back in 2010 and we will take this country back in 2012, so help us God.”

Why Thank You, Your Lordship [Kevin D. Williamson]

President Obama welcomed Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to the White House with words that have inspired snickers in New Delhi:

“Yours is the first official state visit of my presidency, its fitting that you and India be so recognised,” 48-year-old Obama told the 77-year-old Indian leader.

The general reaction in India has been: Who the heck does this guy think he is? Note to the Great Diplomat: When you do a head of state an honor, you don’t remind him, in public, of the fact that you have done him an honor, particularly in self-aggrandizing terms of this sort.

I cannot imagine Dr. Singh responding to Obama: “I am the first state visitor of your presidency, and it is fitting that you and the United States be so recognized. Especially considering that I have the guts to stand up to the Chinese from time to time, while you’re basically groveling and praying that they don’t decide to divest their dollar holdings. Did I mention our 7 percent economic growth, compared to your … 3 percent, 3.5? Now, what did you want to talk about?”

Contrived Crisis: In His Own Words

    November 24, 2009 in Campaign 2008,

The following post is compliments of mrje:
How much more proof do we need that the “health care crisis” was fabricated (shown by ALL POLLS IT WAS NEVER IN ONE OF THE TOP 5 ISSUES THE PEOPLE WANTED RESOLVED), and that this administration brought it to the forefront above ALL ELSE (while the economy tanks).

BO & CO purposely stalled to bring common sense fixes to the economy (in particular, small business – the ENGINE of our economy), knowing that more of us would become unemployed, creating a constituency base, for health care (making us all more concerned about losing our health care plans). The BIG PLAN to make us all more dependent on the government.

They flat out IGNORED creating private sector jobs (while government jobs EXPLODE on our dime), until they made their huge push toward success, for socialized medicine.

Where in God’s name do they get the idea that GOVERNMENT can create competition – when in reality, it will cause competition to disappear so we can all become dependent on government????… when’s the last time you were in a VA hospital or any government-run medical facility?

(Like we don’t know that Medicare refuses 4 times more services than private insurance companies) move up to 6:25m

Why won’t these dumbo’s allow private insurance companies to sell across state lines? Why won’t they try a little tort reform? Why not create portability of policies? Why are they “waiting” to stop current fraud in the system? These are obvious ways to CREATE COMPETITION AND to reduce costs AND prices in the private sector.

Because BO’s plan is NOT about “health care”. It is about CONTROLLING the masses.

Move up to Dick Durbin’s last comments to hear him say that BO can’t concentrate on the # 1 issue facing this country (economy/jobs), until he passes health care “free-form” (my word not his). I did not hear ANY media, highlight this comment from Meet The Press last Sunday.

In my opinion, his comments confirm that all BO’s jaw-jacking, for 1 year about the economy and it being his priority to “fix it”, is a LIE.

If you don’t have time to watch the whole thing, MOVE THE VIDEO UP TO 4:30, TO HEAR DICK DURBIN say “SHIFT FROM CRITICALLY IMPORTANT ISSUE (!!health care!!) TO ECONOMY AND JOBS”

translation: THEY AREN’T WORKING ON THE ECONOMY, STUPID! until they can see if they can pressure us (through their chaotic tactics) into making health care our # 1 issue, so they can pass this bill.

    I’m just sayin’…

“Born in Cincinnati in November 1949 as one of 12 brothers and sisters, John has lived in Southwest Ohio his entire life. ”
No wonder Mr. Boehner seemed so normal to me he is from the Mid-west and from a big family. You learn many lessons coming from a big family: sharing everything, chores, helping out, fiscal responsibility, education, getting along with many different personalities, punishments, rewards and so much more. I have never met anyone from a big family who was a spoiled brat THE ONE comes to mind. I know many only children who were not spoiled either, their parents worked very hard not to give them every material thing.

Michelle….I am one of those mid-westerners who comes from a big family…..I grew up on a farm in Kansas…..oldest child of seven…..we had one bathroom and an outhouse…..5 women getting ready in the morning was not an easy task….and YES…there is a lot of sharing and as the oldest….a lot of responsibility….my daughter is an only child unfortunately I had one miscarriage after her and 45 at that time…..I didn’t want to chance another pregnancy after age 45…..I wish I could have given her the lessons I learned growing in a big family and having little to live on…..she is spoiled by my husband’s side of the family where he is the oldest of two My daughter is the only granddaughter on my husband’s side of the family so she has been dubbed a “Princess” by them!!!

  55. A friend sent me this in an email….had to share…

    Did you know ….

That the words race car spelled backward spell race car.

That eat is the only word that if you take the 1st letter and move it to the last, it spells its past tense, ate.

And have you noticed that if you rearrange the letters in “illegal immigrants,” and add just a few more letters, it spells out: “Go home you free-loading, benefit grabbing, kid-producing, violent, non-English speaking assholes and take those other hairy-faced, sandal wearing, bomb making, goat loving, raggedy ass bastards with you.”

    How weird is that?

I just did a twitter search on Navy Seals – This story is pissing America off! As it should be!

  57. Linda from NY – the tragedy is 14 innocent Americans are dead. The God General cannot make them alive again. We are diverse nation that does not mean we are allowed to be stupid and careless in our diversity. Fort Hood was a tragedy that did not need to happen they received more warnings than the Titanic.
“He said that if diversity were a “casualty,” then it would be an even greater tragedy than the murders of fourteen innocent Americans.”

Lou Dobbs Weighs Senate Run, as a Steppingstone
The Lou Dobbs-for-Senate rumor had barely crested when the Lou
Dobbs-for-president rumor suddenly overtook it this week.

Mr. Dobbs, the former cable television anchor of the sonorous voice and
tough-talking immigration politics, parted ways with CNN on Nov. 11,
reportedly receiving an $8 million severance payment, and immediately
    stirred questions about his plans.

His name was quickly floated as a potential challenger in 2012 to United
States Senator Robert Menendez, the New Jersey Democrat, an ardent advocate
for immigrants’ rights and the chamber’s only Hispanic member. (Mr. Dobbs,
64, lives on a horse farm in rural Wantage, N.J.)

Then, on Monday, Mr. Dobbs said he had been urged to ponder a White House
run, and was indeed thinking about it. “Yes is the answer,” he told former
Senator Fred D. Thompson, who reached Mr. Dobbs at his vacation home in West
Palm Beach, Fla., and broadcast the interview on his radio program.

What’s unclear is whether Mr. Dobbs, who branded himself “Mr. Independent”
on CNN and talks prodigiously about his scorn for partisan politicians on a
radio program syndicated to more than 200 stations, would run as an
independent or seek the nomination of the Republican Party, which he spurned
in 2006, switching his registration to independent.

On Monday, Mr. Dobbs told Mr. Thompson he did not know which way he was
leaning on a presidential bid, but said he would “be talking some more with
some folks who want me to listen to them the next few weeks.”

Later, he told a Washington radio station, “For the first time, I’m actually
listening to some people about politics,” adding: “I think that being in the
public arena means you’ve got to be part of the solution.”

By Tuesday, Mr. Dobbs had apparently begun screening his calls: the phones
rang off the hook at his Florida home. A spokesman played down the idea of a
presidential race, but said Mr. Dobbs was taking seriously the idea of
    running against Mr. Menendez.

“I think Lou is realistically saying, that’s a long way off, but if he did
run for office there’d have to be an intermediary step, such as the Menendez
seat,” said the spokesman, Robert L. Dilenschneider. He said Mr. Dobbs was
impressed by Republican gains in New Jersey in November and by President
    Obama’s sinking popularity.

Mr. Dobbs’s two biggest assets in a Senate race would be name recognition
and his fortune. But it is less evident that he has a political base of
support, even in Sussex County, where he lives, and where Republicans
    dominate every level of politics.

Richard Zeoli, a former Sussex Republican chairman who was just elected a
county freeholder, said he did not know whether Mr. Dobbs would energize
Republicans on a full range of issues or focus too much on a few subjects.
“Beyond immigration, there’s a lot of things that party leaders would want
    to ask,” he said.

Virginia Littell, a former state Republican chairwoman, said Mr. Dobbs and
his wife, Debi, had been only “peripherally involved” in the community. “I
don’t even know anything about him politically,” she said. “I know he was a
Republican and now he’s an independent. So, say he comes back to be a
Republican. Is that really who he is?”

Asked whether Mr. Dobbs would run as an independent or a Republican, Mr.
Dilenschneider first ventured that it would be “highly unlikely” that he
would return to the party, given how much he had done to brand himself as an
independent. But after getting through to Mr. Dobbs, he reported back that
the former anchor would not rule out a Republican candidacy. “It’s just too
early to come to a conclusion on that,” he quoted Mr. Dobbs as saying.

Mr. Dobbs’s past outspokenness could also complicate his return to the
Republican fold. Last year, he ripped into Christopher J. Christie, then the
United States attorney in New Jersey, over immigration enforcement, calling
him “an utter embarrassment.” He also briefly considered a primary run
against Mr. Christie in the governor’s race.

And in late October, Mr. Christie’s aides took notice when Mr. Dobbs gave an
independent candidate, Christopher J. Daggett, air time on his CNN program
when it appeared that Mr. Daggett’s candidacy was damaging Mr. Christie.

Mr. Christie, now the state’s governor-elect, will

  59. zachjonesishome @1:07 America should be upset, this is horrible what the so-called leadership is doing to our service people who represent us. I don’t think they should get a wrist slap either.
“The last thing The One needs after shipping KSM off to NYC for his close-up is the image of SEALs being hauled off to prison for busting some jihadi in the face. In fact, according to Fox, the SEALs requested a court-martial rather than nonjudicial punishment, presumably because they know full well how awful this looks for the military. Prediction: Wrist slap.”

Michelle – I would bet they get cleared all the way around. Hopefully, the Judges will give them all salutes.

For more than a year, our legitimate questions of Barack Obama’s eligibility have been dumbed down, ridiculed, and ignored as if to even raise the issue was somehow racist, anti-American, and being a ’sore loser’.
Our opposition has used every tool and resource to obfuscate the truth, and the Courts have all ducked their responsibility using various technicalities of law to deny standing and jurisdiction, or stating the absurdity that properly brought constitutional cases are a ‘political question.’ Is the Constitution now up for a vote?
Well personally I am sick of it, and refuse to back down. The people who are ‘dumb’ about this issue are the Congress, Obama, Gibbs, the obots, and the media. We know it, and they do too.
I was thus surprised and humbled be appointed the chair the Subcommittee on Article II Eligibility at the Continental Congress 2009. A chance to do something about this had dropped in my lap.

” I think the Constitution means what it says and says what it means.”
such a simple sentence that says so much. If they wanted to change the Constitution they should have tried amending it-too gutless and too lazy, plus they would never have succeeded.
I don’t think this current group of nit-wits Obama and his fellow law breakers have any idea how much our Constitution means to the American people. None. To add insult to injury they are heaping abuse on to our military.

I’m beginning to wonder if Obama was conscious when he took the oath of office, this genius had to take it twice, you would think something would stick.

  75. Army D.A.V.

Sounds like the military is “waking up” too, huh?

Remember the statement about Civilian Army? If he continues down this path, he’s gonna need one.

I heard that “O” is already tapping the prisons – recently in NYC – allowing them to come out and work for some non-profit orgs.

  77. I can only speak as a Democrat (in suffrage) Obama is so bad-inept, corrupt etc. The American people are going to remember for a long time, that the Democratic party brought this imbecile to our country-if the Democratic party survives at all, it will take decades of beyond the best behavior-rehabilitation- to undo what this idiot has done in less than a year. The South Side of Chicago must have been so glad to be rid of him and his corruption. As a former Chicagoan I have to say-that wasn’t very nice of you to palm off this fool on the nation-not nice at all.

Another question: Pelosi swore in “what’s his name” before he was certified by the state. Was that legal and was his vote for the health kill bill legal?
