Yesterday, the Citizen Wells blog presented an article about a town hall meeting hosted by representative Trent Franks of Arizona. Here are some exerpts:
“The other main issue dealt with numerous speakers questioning Obama’s birth certificate and why there wasn’t an investigation into whether he is a naturalized citizen. One woman said a newspaper announcement of his birth in Hawaii was not sufficient. Another asked how he could have a passport without a birth certificate.
Franks said there was not enough evidence that Obama is not an American citizen. He did say there was a lot of conflicting evidence of Obama’s citizenship and that he was considering filing a lawsuit, the only congressman to do so. Franks asked why the president did not simply produce a birth certificate.”
A comment was posted by a citizen from AZ:
“I have emailed Rep Franks several times,…. and He has responded to me each time….by email and also snail mail letter. Pretty much saying that obama has been vetted and all is in order. MAYBE we should email him some info to WAKE UP his mind a little bit. You prepare what you want and I will make sure he gets it. I will email it and I will also send him a certified letter. WHAT do you think? (I also emailed Sen Mccain,…. but never received any response at all)”
Today we received this comment from travelbugs:
“I just got off the phone with Congressman Franks office. He said that he did not say he would pursue a lawsuit, but rather that he would pursue looking into this. I also explained that it is much more than the long form birth certificate. I further stated that he had to simultaneously ask for the college records and passport records to be opened up to fully understand the depth of this. The staffer said they have been flooded by calls today about the birth issue and he took my message down, in great detail, and promised to pass it along to the Congressman. Everyone needs to call and relay this same information. He can get a fake birth certificate, but he cannot forge the passport and college records as well. These elements are critical to bringing about the truth!”
I, Citizen Wells, today, August 24, 2009, submitted a request to meet with Trent Franks. I will keep you informed of what comes of this.

I was reading this article from the Daily Nation in Kenya, considering the information we now know, and I noticed again, in a new light, what the Kenyan Ambassador to the USA is quoted to have said:
“In 1961, his father would not have even been in Kenya.”
Think about that statement…

I agree 110%. This is all a stall tactic to steal more money from the American schmu…errr…people.
What more signal do we need, a tyranny meteor falling towards earth at 10000 miles per hour? Seriously, this is a fine and dandy discussion but the damage is being done at warp speed and Soetoro has taken over Scotty’s post and “giving it all she’s got”.
And I should clarify what I meant by stall tactic. By that I mean all this “I’ll look into it” crap from CONgrassional non-respresenting “representatives”.
It’s also a way for getting out of town halls without being eaten alive. Nothing will result from this, I assure you. Pray I’m wrong.

re: Obama’s British citizenship status. Maybe we should complain every day to his boss The Queen of England. Is it possible we could drive her nuttier, than he is doing to the USA and have the Queen deal with her errant subject. He’s hers not ours.

A little info for you on physicians and their limitations from your post on the other thread.
There are very specific protocols, also referred to as standard of care, that must be followed by law. Physicians (Medical Docs) are limited to approved prescription drugs ONLY, and specific procedures set forth in treatment protocol guidelines. (clinical trials are another story) Diagnosis ABC = treatment and or Rx for ABC.
A physician can’t write you a different prescription that HE thinks would work better if it doesn’t fit that diagnosis (code). Your insurance probably wouldn’t pay for it anyway.
Even if a physician knew of an alternative treatment that would be better than something being hawked by big pharma, he couldn’t recommend it if it was outside the established protocol. In addition to the risk of being sued he would have his license revoked and his medical liability insurance would be cancelled.
On the other hand, a Naturopathic Physician is trained in “natural” treatments and can & does sell you herbs/vitamins, counsel you on your diet, etc. He is limited to THIS realm. So, if you needed a prescription drug he would have to refer you to an M.D. There are a few docs that are both a medical doctor and a Naturopath. This to me is the best of both worlds.
Remember, pharmaceutical companies & major foundations such as the Rockefeller Foundation also fund the med schools, donate huge sums of money for research grants, etc. They also control the content of information delivered to physicians in professional medical pubs/journals due to their enormous ad budgets. The Rockefeller family has controlled the field of medicine for years. It’s an interesting history to read if you are so inclined.
Samples of medications provided to physicians by big pharma are typically given so as to save their patients money. It allows a physician to use some meds as a “trial” on a patient without any out of pocket expense. Others meds are given to folks that have little financial means. Other than an ink pen, coffee mug or occasional lunch from the drug reps, there are no perks for the average physician. Big pharma is lining the pockets of the politicians not the physicians. Physicians don’t have any financial incentive to prescribe one med over another.
I’m hopeful you find this valuable.

JustMe-You know how elderly people can be. Very feisty and honest in my opinion. An elderly lady came into a shop while I was there, one of the other ladies said Mary you look fantastic and she did. I think she was over 85. Happy, healthy sharp, witty. She said she had gotten rid of all of her other doctors and went to a naturopath and physican-she said I haven’t felt this great in years. I got off all those medications the other doctors gave me and I quote “I peed chemicals for 3 days.
