Here is another example of a so called town hall meeting regarding Obama’s health care bill. This one was in Orlando FL on August 17, 2009.

The rest were stacked with people who were in a previous Democrat meeting. I was embarrassed to be in the room. I’m a Vietnam Veteran, there were World War II veterans in wheelchairs outside who didn’t get in. A lot of Democrats were allowed in, and a lot of pro-Grayson people allowed in the back door. It was (shaking head)… I was ashamed. We thought it was going to be a real Town Hall. It wasn’t. Ninety-five of 126 seats were already taken. Shame on him. Shame on him.
If the Democrats think they are going to benefit from behavior like this, they are going to be sadly mistaken come election day 2010.”

I was outside this town hall, and I believe that it was definitely held under unfair circumstances.
Alan Grayson was able to hold a town hall meeting on short notice, and directly after a meeting (I heard it was a Union meeting, but I could be wrong) of local Democrats. Not to mention the fact that the building only had about 125 seats, in contrast to some 300,000 voters whom Alan Grayson represents.
This seems absolutely ridiculous to me. I can confirm the fact that only about 30 of the ‘regular people’ with tickets got let into the meeting. I watched a few selected people go in through back and side doors, and of course a few of the representatives of the media walk in through the parking lot.
The other few hundred of us were left to wait outside to see if there may be a chance of the door opening one more time to the public. This was supposedly a public meeting, and yet only 30 people from the group outside got let in. If you had been outside the building, you’d have seen that the majority of the people there were protesting the bill. Of course, there were those who were there to provide a counterargument for the protesters, but their numbers were scarce in comparison to the amount of people in opposition to the bill.
However, despite the fact that the protesters were the obvious majority of the attendees, I later read that the majority of the people inside the meeting were actually supporters of Rep. Grayson. How does that work out? The only answer I can think of is that Grayson and company “stacked the deck”, to put it in the words of a protester outside the meeting.
I’m only sixteen years old, but I think I can read enough into this to figure out that something’s not right.”

Just prior to the Town Hall meeting there was a Democrat meeting of some kind. The mainstream media is reporting that Grayson’s supporters outnumbered protesters, however this is is simply not true. My estimate is that about 20% of the people there were in support, the rest were in protest. Of course, inside the building things weighed in his favor, due to the aforementioned pre-loaded room.”

I think the problem mentioned above was somewhat diff from what you say. During OFFICIAL BUSINESS they discussed Political Conspiracy and Disruptive Actions that would restrict Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Assembly. All this done by elected officials that took an OATH to Uphold the Constitution and Protect People’s rights while being in the duty of their functions in a Public Building. Seems inappropriate and outright illegal.

That’s an excellent question, especially if they are applying for DoD contracts.
And the answer is simple. What applies to the Military also applies to the commander in chief. One cannot obtain sensitive military contracts because of issues with allegiance. It is near impossible to obtain a security clearance with dual citizenship.

Not a stupid question at all. You put it in a safe place. It is the same thing you do with gold bullion. It’s the most valuable form of precious metals one can hold. Barter and trade if you like. It has no “coin value” because it’s based on purity instead of face value. Whatever the market rate is at the time is what the bullion is worth, minus the trading and other fees of course.

No problem. Just make sure you don’t sink everything into one item. Diversify. Get a certain percentage of silver for quick barter along with ammunition and supplies. When times get difficult, it will save your bacon, literally.
I would suggest buying a cow and chicken or at least any daily survival supplies that you don’t think you could survive without before investing in any precious metals that won’t feed you or your family or protect your property.

I would suggesting getting a diesel generator and get an extra heating oil tank maybe one form someone that converts to gas usually Free because they cost money to get rid of. And have it filled up now 275 Gals will run a generator fo a long time. Be careful with Carbon Monoxide when you run it.

Reason why I suggested Diesel is because it is easier to store, not explosive (not good for Molotoves thougth LOL), can be manufactured (biodiesel), etc.
Anyone heating with Oil Heat should consider installing a second oil tank…..it’s cheaper when you buy 500 Gal instead of 250 plus if there is rationing and shortages it will last you twice as long.
Also consider wood stoves, etc.

This is a Great idea that needs to be done by all prospective candidates. It is a great way to start organizing. OUr movement should also organize and start our own Town Halls Listening Tour to educate prospective candidates for 2010 and 2012. If we start lining up the ALTERNATIVE it only benefits us and helps the country to listen.
It’s time to make this movement more ACTIVE and take actions that will give us long term rewards. lets start lining up our Political Powers. For now we will support any new candidate but ONLY endorse those that have similar Consitutional Values as us.

I just noticed something about him other than politics as opposed to Obama-Lloyd has great innate charm, very articulate, honest and sincere-everything Obama is not. I am a Democrat who did not vote for Obama, I agree with Peter Francisco, we wish Obama a long life in jail. As a Democrat the only question I have is how many would care to join him on the way out the door? Obama is sinking like a stone. Why? Has anyone ever seen the media do a job on the American people like the worship of Obama during the last election cycle? They got carried away on the “historic” thing. I wanted to hear from Hillary, Sarah, John McCain but they were either drowned out or totally ignored. Everything out of Obama’s mouth was some “pearl of wisdom”. What a joke. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs-I do not know why the press did not examine (as they should) the community organizers success story the South Side of Chicago-bombed out Berlin was in better shape before and after Obama did his thing. This is an area where all of the taxpayers money magically disappears federal, state and local. Chicagoans know what that means-it is called lining the politicians pockets. It has been this way forever. Every once in awhile an attempt to clean it up-the graft- but the many headed hydra keeps coming back. Same crime, different players. An intrepid reporter should grab a video camera and film this disaster area for the world to see. It is gang bangers, welfare queens, welfare kings, and every degenerate activity you can imagine. The true horror: honest law abiding citizens don’t stand a chance. Children (small) abandoned by their drugged and drunk parents. I don’t know how many times we saw that on TV or the news. This children had no food, the heat was turned off etc. The follow up report would state something like-parents received $2,000.00 in welfare per month with other benefits-it just went to booze and drugs guns. So sick.
I don’t know what the Republicans are doing, we Democrats are receiving requests for donations. We are sending ours back with NO money, marked either-usurper, no representation-no money-etc.
Mine says the Republicans are continuing to obstruct president*Obama’s agenda…defeat 50 vulnerable Democrats…the usual. I say keep up the good work Republicans, many of our conservative Democrats are in this with you and many more to come.

I have a hunch you and I come from the same type of cultural back ground and have no problem getting on the same page. I agree about the politicians. I have been shouting for months that every one of them needs to be terminated from their jobs and replaced with fresh non corrupt blood. Limit their terms.
Among the criteria politicans should have prior to being placed on the ballot are:
No prior arrest or criminal record of any kind
A thorough knowledge of the Constitution and be tested on that knowledge.
Absolutely no connection with nefarious or other types of suspicious characters who buy politicians for their own benefit and agenda.
Moral turpitude. To date I can name only two politicians with moral turptidue–Sarah Palin and Michele Bachman.
High personal integrity and outstanding strength of character.
Said person should also be educated and very knowedgable in the differences of socialism, facism, communism, dictaroship, republic, democracy. and all other forms of government.
(AS unbelievable as it seems, the words communism, socialism, facism or distatorhsip are not bad words to the young generation. They truly do not understand what they mean. I hears one idiot radio talk show host say: “So what’s wrong with communism if I can keep my house and my job?”
The candidate must not be a member of the following: Tri-latera, Illuminati, Bilderberger, or any other NWO groups and schemes.
The protection of Capitalism must be a basic belief along with placing America first and making certain every action is to first protect America.
It makes no difference what race the politican is but because Muslims have repeatedly proven their religion requrires them to age jihad against infidels–Muslims can not be permitted to become part of our government.
I insist any politician who will get my vote must demand Obama stand up or step down.
By bringing in fresh and perhaps somewhat idealistic politicians into government, America we have a great chance to heal and restore itself to a republic under the constitution because these people will not have a track record of years of under the table deals with crooks.
If we could all agree on these–which I know–many will not, we would have a chance to clean up America and make it the leading country of the world again.
