Constitutional law Professor Jonathan Turley will appear on MSNBC’s count down tonight and according to his blog he’ll be discussing this case. Unfortunately he got it all wrong. Here is the comment I left at his blog. It is awaiting moderation, but other comments have been cleared since I left mine:

Mr. Turley,
My name is Leo Donofrio and my application before the Supreme Court says, within the body of the pleading, that I believe Mr. Obama is a Citizen of the United States – born in Hawaii. Your report above is not accurate.
My law suit challenges his status as a “natural born citizen” based upon the fact that his Father was a British citizen/subject. Mr. Obama admits, at his own web site, that he was a British citizen/subject at birth. He was also a US citizen “at birth”. He does not have dual nationality now, but the Constitution is concerned with the candidate’s status “at birth”, hence the word “born” in the requirement.
You have completely mis-stated my lawsuit. I have repeatedly said, over and again, that I believe Obama was born in Hawaii. I have criticized everyone who has said Mr. Obama is not a citizen. I believe he is a “native born citizen”, but not a “natural born citizen”.
The law suit is based upon what distinction the framers drew between the requirement for a Senator and Representative, which only requires “Citizen” status as opposed to the requirements for President, which requires “natural born Citizen” status. As you are aware, this is an issue of first impression for SCOTUS.

I never watch MSNBC for obvious reasons. They were in bed with Obama during the election campaign.
Keith Olbermann please respond and clarify some things for us:
- Are you on the payroll of the Obama camp?
- Do you care about the truth?
- Would you recognize the truth if it bit you on the ass.
- Do you care about this country?
- Do you ever do any real research?
I really would like an answer. Provide one and I will publish it.

Yes, this too is expected from the left. Here comes the beginning of the end of the reign of their messiah, and they have to find someone of some value that will discredit this matter before it actually makes it to the proper authority.
This just falls right in line with obama’s office of the president elect game. If you act and present as though you are, people will believe and accept it. So he continues with his business as usual, but behind the scenes, he and his slime attorneys have to be very worried about how this will all play out.
We have some very big dates on the horizon: Dec 15, Jan 6, Jan 20. I see the obama express coming off the rails very soon.
My advice to all my friends and family: eyes wide open, stay in touch daily with loved ones, and have a contingency plan ready in case this whole thing suddenly erupts.

Obama’s propaganda and misinformation machines are indeed fabulous.
I’m hoping that the Supreme court can begin the process of outing him for the fraud he truly is.

14th Amendment citizens cannot be President. Barack Obama’s campaign has stated he’s a citizen under the 14th Amendment.
Citizenship under the 14th Amendment is achieved in three ways:
1. Being naturalized
2. Being born on US soil to two non US citizens
3. Being born on US soil to one US citizen and one non US citizen
If Arnold can’t serve because of #1 then neither can anyone that falls under #s 2 or 3. Barry is a #3.
On the local CBS station tonight, they are covering this story for the first time. Basically, the take is that this lawsuit isn’t going to go anywhere and the SCOTUS won’t rule. Obama’s team has no comment, of course.
This is the first time this has broken through here in the local media, led by the Tribune for the past two days.
This is like a really bad dream where you can’t quite reach the button to the loud speaker, and warn the people that end is near and he’s the enemy. OH if I could just reach the BUTTON.
I spent more than 35 years of my life dealing with “obfuscate and blame the victim,” the modus operandi of the simpletons among the Elite, because it is their characteristic pattern and style of committing crimes against the uniformed and uninitiated.
Jonathan Turley is no simpleton, but he has written the script for the simpletons to rip and read over their microphones on local news stations all over the nation and around the world.
I’ve already heard my local newscaster repeat this morning at 5:40 AM exactly what Leo was complaining about. The range of the station does not exceed 30 miles, however more than 1,250,000 people live within the sound of its voice.
That is who Jonathan Turley is trying to reach, not the slim audience of MSNBC.
Where the double-standard comes in, it was Jonathan Turley who this last winter was one of those authorities who was trumpeting the fact that John McCain was not a “natural born citizen,” because he was born in Panama.
Can one of the McCain electors that is not bound file for the Obama birth certificate?
I guess Leo has spent all night reading the history of Chester A. Arthur, discovering that he burned many of his records and told quite a few important lies, all to obfuscate the fact that his father too was a British subject at the time Chester was born in Fairfield, Vermont.

However, no American who wants to can visit Hawaii and come away with any idea at all where Barack Obama was born — anywhere. Even citizens of Hawaii are unable to locate the spot.
There’s a little cottage behind his Grandmother’s home out on the Kalanianaole Highway. Some are guessing this is where Barack Obama, Sr. and Stanley Ann Dunham lived until they were married, while they both were attending college in Honolulu, because that address was used in the birth announcement in the Hawaiian Sunday Advertiser in August, 1961. But, nobody knows for sure.
Why? Because there are the admission records of the University of Washington that record Stanley Ann Dunham attended classes in the Seattle in August, 1961, the same month Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.
Does this mean that during Barack’s first year, he was raised by a “single father,” who was also going to school, staying in Honolulu? Or, was he raised by his grandmother, during the time his mother was away attending college on the mainland? In that case, Barack would have lived in at his grandmother’s home. Nobody knows for sure.
Whatever scenario is correct, any compassionate person should be able to understand why Barack Obama is not willing to revisit that time and place. It might simply be that it hurts too much.
But, for the American voter, not only the birthplace, but where he lived his early years, remain undocumented.
In any case, the American people have entrusted him with their majority vote. On those grounds, Obama probably would be our next President-elect, had he only authorized the Secretary of State of New Jersey to examine his original birth certificate so she could fulfil her duty to certify New Jersey’s Ballot and also certify NJ Electors to the Electoral College on December 15.
However, because he didn’t, she can’t!
Now comes Leo Donofrio from East Brunswick, NJ, with a challenge whether or not Obama is even eligible to enter upon the duties of the President of the United States, because his father was a British subject (ON THE DATE!) when Obama was born.
This may prove to be Obama’s Achilles heel, a fatal weakness despite his tremendous strength, leading to his downfall.
The most famous rhyme showing that small actions can result in huge consequences is this one, called “For Want of A Nail:”
For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.
It was very popular in Colonial times, and one version was included by Benjamin Franklin in his Poor Richard’s Almanack, when America and Great Britain were on opposite sides during the American Revolutionary War.
Remember that War when you read our Constitution, because that will help you understand why the Framers did not want to have “any foreign influence” in our Commander-in-Chief. This fear would be defeated by the birth requirement.
Elbridge Gerry noted that rival princes in Europe would spare no expense to influence our affairs, and that everyone knew what were the vast sums laid out in Europe for their secret service. This fear would be defeated by the residency requirement.
The 35 year age requirement speaks for itself: no infant monarchs in America.
