Larry Sinclair, Donald Young, Chicago Police, Detective McVickers, meeting next week, Attorney controversy

Larry Sinclair has just provided an update on the Chicago Police investigation into the death of choir director Donald Young. Young was the choir director at TUCC, Obama’s church. Sinclair states:

“I have agreed to meet in person with Chicago Police Detective McVickers on a date convenient to him next week.  I am sure the CPD has received a number of emails, calls and complaints from the very people who have continued to attack, smear and misrepresent me.  So people, please, give the Police a little bit of credit for knowing what there is to know about me. “

Robert Blackwell, Breaking news, EKI Consulting, Obama, Killerspin, state grants, Blackwell response

The Los Angeles Times, in an article dated April 27, 2008 reveals
that Obama received a $8,000 a month retainer from Robert Blackwell
for his technology firm, Electronic Knowledge Interchange. The total fees paid to Obama amounted to $112,000.

Robert Blackwell has submitted a response on this blog. In fairness and in search for the truth, I am posting his response as he submitted it. I will leave it for the reader to judge for themselves. I have confirmed that this is Robert Blackwell of EKI Consulting.
“This story about Barack is really silly.
The story fails to mention that It was a Republican Governor that gave the original grant. Barack had absolutely nothing to do with getting the grant. He was a junior State Senator with very little clout.

I hired Barack because I knew him and he was a very talented young lawyer.

Too bad that this story is such a distortion of the real truth.”

Obama, money laundering, Los Angeles Times, April 27 2008, Blackwell, law firm

Was Obama’s legal services to businessman Blackwell,  money laundering? Consider the following:

“The disclosure today in the Los Angeles Times that Barack Obama laundered money through a law firm to conceal the source of his income while an Illinois state senator is the “smoking gun” that is going to doom his candidacy.”

“The Times details how Obama was still “of counsel” to his former law firm, but that he was not providing any services to that entity. Then Obama made a deal with Blackwell, and wanted to conceal that Blackwell was supporting him. So Obama “laundered” the “legal fees” by running them through the law firm and then issuing a list of the law firm’s clients-none of which had anything to do with Obama–to disguise the Blackwell money in a laundry list of hundreds of unrelated “clients.” This was a classic case of money laundering and business fraud. Obama wanted to conceal the large sum he was receiving from Blackwell, so he concealed that Blackwell was the source of his income by pretending he was providing services to the law firm’s other clients. Utter fraud. “Barry O” ain’t stupid, he’s slicky and tricky, and he’s a ticking time bomb for the Democratic Party.”

Obama, Robert Blackwell, Los Angeles Times, April 27, 2008, $8,000 a month retainer, state grants, Miner, Barnhill & Galland

More controversy surrounding the past of Barack Obama has surfaced.
The Los Angeles Times, in an article dated April 27, 2008 reveals
that Obama received a $8,000 a month retainer from Robert Blackwell
for his technology firm, Electronic Knowledge Interchange,
for a total of $112,000. The following exerpts are from the LA times
article:

“A few months after receiving his final payment from EKI, Obama sent a request on state Senate letterhead urging Illinois officials to provide a $50,000 tourism promotion grant to another Blackwell company, Killerspin.”

“With support from Obama, other state officials and an Obama aide who went to work part time for Killerspin, the company eventually obtained $320,000 in state grants between 2002 and 2004 to subsidize its tournaments.”

“But Obama portrays himself as a lawmaker dedicated to transparency and sensitive to even the appearance of a conflict of interest.”

“Killerspin’s owner, Blackwell, was a political supporter and friend as well. Both men lived on Chicago’s South Side. Blackwell, a savvy and successful entrepreneur, was one of the first donors to Obama’s early campaigns, including the state senator’s failed bid for a congressional seat in 2000. In the presidential race he is credited on Obama’s website with committing to raise $100,000 to $200,000 for Obama’s campaign.”

“In his book “The Audacity of Hope,” Obama tells how his finances had deteriorated to such a point that his credit card was initially rejected when he tried to rent a car at the 2000 Democratic convention in Los Angeles. He said he had originally planned to dedicate that summer “to catching up on work at the law practice that I’d left unattended during the campaign (a neglect that had left me more or less broke).”
Six months later Blackwell hired Obama to serve as general counsel for his tech company, EKI, which had been launched a few years earlier.”
If this activity was considered ethical under the law, it certainly
is suspect for a candidate trying to appear squeaky clean and
touting reform. Read the rest of the article here:

Student suspended for answering call from dad in Iraq, Austin Texas, Copperas Cove High School, Master Sgt. Morris Hill

Does common sense still exist in America?

Does common sense exist in our public schools?

Is there respect for those serving in our military?

A Copperas Cove High School sophomore was suspended for receiving a 2 minute call from his father in Iraq.

The following is taken from the Austin News, KXAN.com:

“”He called me during class, because that’s the only time that he could,” said Brandon Hill, suspended for using a cell phone. “I answered the call as I was walking out of class. The teacher followed me out and said, ‘Oh what are you doing?’ I said my dad was calling from Iraq, and I know he needs to talk to me.””

“Yet Pat Hill said before her husband left for Iraq, he made a special arrangement with the assistant principal.

“He had spoken with Mr. Fletcher,” said Pat Hill. “He thought there was an agreement understood that if he called either Joshua or Brandon at school, that everything was fine.

Brandon Hill was sent to the office and suspended for two days for answering his father’s call.”

The have been many responses to this ridiculous action on the part of the school:

“TV 04-15-2008 09:33:26
Copperas Cove administration should be ashamed of themselves. If a parent is serving in a war zone and they call to speak to their child it is beyond words that a school would prohibit a call from that parent! What is happening to this country?!?”

” Central Austin 04-15-2008 10:15:34
This could have been the last call from his father. The poor man has a family over here, and whatever the situation he should be able to talk to his family whenever he needs to talk to them. It could have been possible that this was the only time he had available to talk to his son. The schools should let the kids talk to their parents that are in the military and are so far away. That is correct, how can we say that “We support our Troops.””

” Round rock 04-15-2008 11:50:14
As *******ter of a soldier in Iraq, I am very dissapointed in the way the school is handling this situation. The child is not at fault in any way and should not have been suspended. Any phone call from a parent in Iraq should be honored and accepted by the school and the student without any acception. Being that the parent is in harms way on the war zone. That could be the very last phone call they would make at any time. The soldiers arent guaranteed a next minute or second. When they call family there should be no question wether to allow the call or not. Remember this , because of these soldiers fighting every second of the day, we are able to do what we do every day. These military children make sacrifices being away from mom or dad every day. The other children get to see there parents every day military children do not. ”

“CONTACT THE PRINCIPAL DIRECTLY 04-15-2008 14:56:05
THIS IS THE EMAIL FOR THE PRINCIPAL AT CCHS:

Dr. Carol Saxenian–saxenianc@ccisd.com

PERHAPS IF ENOUGH PEOPLE CONTACT HER DIRECTLY AND DEMAND THAT ANY RECORD OF THE SUSPENSION BE ERASED, IT WILL HAVE AN EFFECT.

THANK YOU TO SGT. HILL FOR FIGHTING EVERYDAY FOR US.

MILITARY FAMILIES DESERVE OUR SUPPORT. SHAME ON THE TEACHER AND PRINCPALS WHO SUSPENDED THIS BOY. HOW DARE THEY…”

” Citizen Wells 04-18-2008 11:01:42
What a bunch of idiots!
(You may quote me)
What has happened to common sense?
Come on people of Texas. March on the school
and rattle some cages.
I know you can handle it, if not we will
march from NC. If these so called educators
can’t apply some common sense, they should
be fired.”

Obama records, Illinois FOIA, Governor Mike Easley, NC governor, lawsuit, NC Public Records Law

The US government has a  Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). States have their own version of the FOIA. Illinois has a FOIA. NC has the NC Public Records Law.

Apparently there are public officials in this country that do not take the FOIA acts seriously or believe they will not be punished. There was an article in the Charlotte Observer on Tuesday April 15, 2008. The Charlotte Observer and nine other NC news organizations have sued Governor Mike Easley over his administration’s deletion of official government emails. This is a violation of NC Public Records Law. Easley is accused of “the systematic deletion, destruction or concealment of email messages sent from or received by the Governor’s Office.” Sound familiar?

Barack Obama has been a licensed attorney in the state of
Illinois since the early nineties and was a associate attorney
with Miner, Barnhill and Galland from 1993 to 2002.

Barack Obama also taught law part-time at the University of Chicago Law School from 1993 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004.

Barack Obama was a member of the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004.

The Illinois Freedom of Information Act
pro-disclosure statute was originally enacted on July 1, 1984.

The following is the position of the state of Illinois as stated
by the Illinois Attorney General:

“It is the public policy of this State that public bodies exist to aid in the conduct of the people’s business and that the people have a right to be informed as to the conduct of their business.”

“Attorney General Lisa Madigan believes that an open, honest and accountable government, the cornerstone of a democracy, can only be achieved through the free and open exchange of information between government and its citizens. Both the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Open Meetings Act (OMA) endeavor to open the workings of government to the public, shed light on government actions and, in the process, strengthen our democracy. Similarly, the newly enacted government ethics laws are intended to increase government accountability. The Office of the Attorney General is committed to ensuring compliance with these laws and increasing awareness by both the public and public officials of their rights and obligations under them.”

Barack Obama has violated the letter of the law
and spirit of the Illinois FOIA.

Obama refused to supply information on one occasion when he
stated:

In a Tribune interview Thursday, the Illinois Democrat said he had no intention of sharing any of the documents he might still have in his possession.”

“The problem is whatever remaining documents I have are inevitably incomplete. And then the questions going to be, where’s this or where’s that. Once I start heading down that road, then it puts me in a position that could end up being misleading. I don’t want to mislead people. I don’t know the extent of the records that I have as a state senator.”

Obama has also either ignored requests for his records or given
evasive answers:

The Chicago Tribune has reported that it “requested documents from his time in Springfield and never received a response.”

In an interview with Tim Russert:

“MR. RUSSERT:  You talked about Senator Clinton having records released from the Clinton Library regarding her experience as first lady, and yet when you were asked about, “What about eight years in the state senate of Illinois,” you said, “I don’t know.” Where, where are the—where are your records?

SEN. OBAMA:  Tim, we did not keep those records.  I…

MR. RUSSERT:  Is your schedule available anywhere?  Are—the records exist?

SEN. OBAMA:  I—Tim, I kept my own schedule.  I didn’t have a scheduler.

MR. RUSSERT:  Senator Durbin, your colleague, publishes his schedule each day.  Would you do that?

SEN. OBAMA:  Well, you know, these days I have a public presidential schedule that I think everybody has access to.”
It is obvious that Barack Obama has violated the Illinois
FOIA Law by his failure to produce records that he has and has
violated the spirit of the law and policies of the State of
Illinois by his cavalier, evasive and irresponsible conduct.

I contacted the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. This is the response that I got:

Dear Mr. Wells,

Thank you for writing to Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan with your questions related to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140. I am responding via electronic mail as that is the form that you have contacted me.

The Illinois Senate is subject to the state Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140. Please be advised that a public body is required to respond to a request for information pursuant to this Act within seven working days. The response must be in writing. In limited circumstances, a public body can invoke an additional seven working days to respond to a request. 5 ILCS 140/3(c). If a public body denies a request for information, it must do so in writing and specifically cite the section of the Act that authorizes a public body to withhold documents. 5 ILCS 140/9(b).  Additionally, the public body must provide the requestor with the name of the individual responsible for the denial and inform the requestor of his or her right to appeal a denial. The response must include the name and address of the head of the public body to whom the denial can be forwarded.

You would address your request to the Clerk of the Illinois Senate, Illinois Capitol, 2nd and Capitol, Springfield, IL 62706.

Respectfully,

Terry Mutchler

Assistant Attorney General

I will keep you informed.

Larry Sinclair, Anderson Cooper, AC360, CNN, citizenwells, Obama campaign, conspiracy?, allegations

I posted yesterday, April 16, 2008 about Anderson Cooper’s blog on CNN, AC360, my comments that were approved and retained and Larry Sinclair’s comment that was moderated, approved and then removed. Other Larry Sinclair comments were not approved. I posed the question yesterday: Why was Larry Sinclair’s comment moderated, approved and then removed. Why would the Anderson Cooper “group” remove a comment they approved.

Yesterday I noticed that the post thread was still open. I also noticed that someone posted a derogatory comment about me that was approved by AC360. I posted a comment including the comment made about me and indicated that this was the kind of pesonal attack I had been receiving. The comment was awaiting moderation. I waited and then posted that I was still waiting. I noticed that the thread appeared to be open this morning and again posted that I was still waiting.

So, my question is: Anderson Cooper, AC360, CNN, Is the removal of Larry Sinclair’s comment and ignoring my subsequent comment the policy of the Anderson Cooper “group” or CNN or is this some rogue employee that is a die hard Obama supporter? Is this part of some organized conspiracy to prevent Obama from being questioned about his past?

I would like an answer from Anderson Cooper, AC360 or CNN.

Below are my comments that were retained and Larry Sinclair’s comment that was removed from April 15, 2008:

The real Obama?
Well, a lot of us are searching for the real Obama.
It has been made more difficult due to Obama not complying
with Illinois FOIA and records access laws and by his evasive
reponses.
What we know about Obama is scary enough.
Anyone with doubts should follow the Tony Rezko trial
and check out the Oprah site for her show in April
2004 about down low.

I have been researching Obama extensively and have written
quite a few articles about him.
I was initially a huge skeptic of Larry Sinclair. The more
I researched Obama and the more Larry was attacked personally
and the more I was attacked for asking simple questions, the
more believable Larry’s allegations are.
Obama is hiding something.
Look for some big news to break soon.

citizenwells were you on the down low with Barak? I ask because you seem so confident in your comment.

I really like reading the blogs, however, sometimes I am aghast at some comments. I can only guess lack of intelligence, fear and hate are at the root of some of them.

I would like to believe that the DNC and their two candidates had the good sense and did not leave any stone unterned when it came to background issues. Just think, a black man – he knows americas will do what they can and if there is nothing they will fabricate something. Fox news!! LOL – get real, those folks are the devil incarnate….. are they taken seriously?
Hililary as a woman candidate knows that the misogynists will pick the skin off her bones.
Shame on them if the ‘good ole’ white boys’ find dinasaurs in their closets.

I know for a fact that there is an orchestrated campaign to discredit Larry Sinclair. Is CNN, AC360 or Anderson Cooper part of this?

AC360 blog, Larry Sinclair, Obama, Anderson Cooper, CNN, Obama conspiracy?

Anderson Cooper 360, AC360, on CNN had an article on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, “In Search of Obama” and a blog for comments. I posted 2 comments which they moderated, accepted and retained. In between my comments, Larry Sinclair posted a short comment that was moderated, accepted and later removed. Here is Larry Sinclair’s comment:

“larrysinclair0926   April 15th, 2008 6:42 pm ET

There is another REAL Obama but AC 360 is scared to report it. Just ask Larry Sinclair”
The question is why did CNN and the Anderson Cooper blog staff remove Larry Sinclair’s comment after it was accepted? Other bloggers asking questions about MSM coverage of Obama and the Larry Sinclair allegations now claim that their comments have been removed. Sinclair and others claim that some of their comments were never accepted and that does not necessarily raise a red flag. However, a red flag is raised when a comment is moderated, accepted and then removed.
I am not generally a conspiracy theory person or one to jump to conclusions. However, I and many others have noticed a consistent effort by Obama supporters and the Obama campaign to attack personally and attempt to discredit anyone asking questions about Barack Obama. Many people believe that the main stream media has  given Obama a  free ride much of the time. Some believe that many in the media are afraid to ask serious questions about Obama for fear of being called racist. That is a real concern due to the fact that many Obama supporters and others in this country use the race card as a diversion.
So, CNN, Anderson Cooper, AC360, why did you remove the comment that was moderated and accepted? Are you part of the Obama campaign organized attempt to discredit those that question Obama’s past? Are you afraid of being called racist? Do you have a left wing liberal agenda?
In fairness to CNN, AC360, I must add that they allowed comments that questioned Obama’s past and referred to Larry Sinclair. What is it about the brief comment from Larry Sinclair that caused it to be removed? Some say that the MSM is watching the Sinclair story play out and waiting for the right moment to present it. Some say that Bill O’Reilly has made a reference to the Larry Sinclair allegations and has hinted he can present the story anytime.
For those of you unaware of the Larry Sinclair allegations, Sinclair alleges that he had multiple encounters with Barack Obama from November 3 to November 8, 1999. Sinclair alleges that Obama used drugs and engaged in oral sex with him in a rented limousine in the first encounter.
When I first heard this story I was very skeptical. I then went to the Illinois Senate records and discovered that Obama was absent from the senate on November 4 1999. I then began looking closely at Obama and his lack of records and evasive responses when asked about his records during the time frame when he was in the Illinois senate. When I considered Obama’s evasive attitude about his records and his past associations with racists, hate mongers, criminals and drug users, I began taking Sinclair’s allegations more seriously. I posted questions about Obama on my blog and other blogs. Many of the Obama supporters replied with personal attacks and attempts to discredit me. Some of these attacks were orchestrated, I believe, by the Obama campaign. The more that I visited the Larry Sinclair blog, the more I noticed he was being attacked. I also noticed that Larry was forthcoming about his past and always answered questions. Obama has not been cooperative when asked questions. Sinclair’s credibility has gone up with me and Obama’s credibility has gone down.
Here are the comments that were approved last night. Larry Sinclair’s comment is between my 2 comments.

When will you have a similar piece on Hillary Clinton?
I’m getting so tired of the inequitous presentation of the 2 Democratic candidates. Because sexism is much more accepted and subtle in our society, not much is made of it in this election, only racism because it is easier to identify and talk about. Most of the male announcers take great pleasure in putting Hillary down but give Obama nothing but accolades. It’s discusting. Even if you don’t want her as president, her achievements, as a woman in this American society, are enormous and should be honored. And one day perhaps she will be respected as much as an African American man because, really, after all is said and done, a woman in the White House would be the only REAL change!

Teresa, Ohio   April 15th, 2008 6:29 pm ET

I will look forward to watching this piece. Ever since Obama came into this race, I have noticed TWO of him. I hate to put it this way but: there is a side he shows to the blacks and “minorities” and a side he shows to the typical white folks. I think he is still confused about who he is. I get the impression EVEN he doesnt believe in himself. I would love a piece in the media to focus on his TONE OF SPEECH while he is talking to the two different groups. One is street slang and the other is for the white folk. While some might feel he is adjusting to the group he is talking to and that he can “fit” into any genre, it simply isn’t true. Actually, it’s downright insulting.

I truly hope people know WHO they are voting for in this election.

Best of luck to all candidates.

It is just great to know and see America in Obama. This is something that the Anderson Coopers can read and say ” I am Proud to be an American. This is because of all the Obama’s in it, that ’s what makes it so colorful and beautiful so “That boy’s finger does NEED to be on the button”

Ms Clinton’s kitchen sink has hit all of us especialy Black america, and a lots going to change when Obama faces that other guy.
Many have served this country. but why sshould we vote for someone simple because he was a soldier. many of voluntered. many of us came back and are in wheel chairs, he’s no special than the rest of us.

AND YES AMERICA IS BITTER, Bitter about people like the Clintons who cannot see the pain of lost jobs, lost homes, not house, food and gas prices etc,.

may the real BLACK PRESIDENT COME ON DOWN and press the button if he has to.

In search of Obama?? I am sure Mr B. Obama knows who he is, Where he came from and surely where he’s going. He is not mixed up. Those of you looking for him, look inside of yourselves. This Young man is what make us all proud to be American. I can understand his wife’s Comment about the fist time she felt proud to be an american. Not the twisted way in how the comment was used, but to understand how long it took for a black man to come to the point and make it this far in running for the presidency. Oh, many will never know what it means to be black. because you just cannot, and never will, America is getting a shake up and OBAMA has to be president or something is totally wrong with this USA. Your Polls don’t mean a thing and saying that Ms clinton have a higher averege of winning here and there makes no sence not a penny. she has lost this election and she knows it.

The Tony Rezko trial has been going on for several weeks. Rezko is a long time associate and friend of Barack Obama and a contributor to Obama’s campaign. Another associate of Obama, Stuart Levine, has been on the witness stand and testified Obama was at a party with Rezko and Iraqi born, Saddam Hussein associate, billionaire Nadhmi Auchi. Barack Obama, oil companies, YouTube video, contributors, hypocrisy, Clinton campaign, Phil Singer

There is more controversy surounding the campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Obama has claimed no ties to the big oil companies and has an ad aimed at the voters in Pennsylvania. The Clinton campaign is claiming false advertising. Here is what Obama said:

“I’m Barack Obama and I don’t take money from oil companies or lobbyists and I won’t let them block change anymore.”

The Center for Responsive Politics indicates that Sen. Obama  received over $160,000 from oil and gas companies.  George Kaiser and Robert Cavnar, oil company CEOs, were major bundlers for his campaign.  Obama has accepted money from Exxon, Shell, BP, Chevron and just about every other major oil company. Last month, Sen. Obama accepted another $8,400 from ExxonMobil, $12,370 from Chevron and $6,500 from British Petroleum.

 Clinton spokesman Phil Singer:

“It’s unfortunate that Senator Obama is using false advertising to explain why he can be trusted to do something about energy prices. Senator Obama says he doesn’t take campaign contributions from oil companies but the reality is that Exxon, Shell, and others are among his donors. I wonder if they’ll fix the ad.”

Singer’s memo mentions the practice of “bundling,” tying individual donations together into a larger package. Bundling allows for the appearance of less influence.

Here is the video of Barack Obama:
