Obama, money laundering, Los Angeles Times, April 27 2008, Blackwell, law firm

Was Obama’s legal services to businessman Blackwell,  money laundering? Consider the following:

“The disclosure today in the Los Angeles Times that Barack Obama laundered money through a law firm to conceal the source of his income while an Illinois state senator is the “smoking gun” that is going to doom his candidacy.”

“The Times details how Obama was still “of counsel” to his former law firm, but that he was not providing any services to that entity. Then Obama made a deal with Blackwell, and wanted to conceal that Blackwell was supporting him. So Obama “laundered” the “legal fees” by running them through the law firm and then issuing a list of the law firm’s clients-none of which had anything to do with Obama–to disguise the Blackwell money in a laundry list of hundreds of unrelated “clients.” This was a classic case of money laundering and business fraud. Obama wanted to conceal the large sum he was receiving from Blackwell, so he concealed that Blackwell was the source of his income by pretending he was providing services to the law firm’s other clients. Utter fraud. “Barry O” ain’t stupid, he’s slicky and tricky, and he’s a ticking time bomb for the Democratic Party.”

  1. I cited your blog in response to a poll a few minutes ago. Just thought I’d let you know. It is at http://politicalwire.com/archives/2008/04/28/apipsos_poll_clinton_beats_mccain_by_larger_margin.html?disqus_reply=388865#comment-388865

  2. This is yet ANOTHER reason why Hillary should be the nominee. The evidence continues to mount against Obama, daily. Why else would he avoid another debate? Each one shines new controversy over him. If you look at the trends, he seems to be adding scandalish controversy to his tally at a rate of one to two per week!
Ok, yes, Hillary was wrong when she made the sniper comment. But, compare that to Wright, Rezko, and now this. What’s next? Not to mention the “2 degrees of seperation” between Obama and Saddam… (just look at the Rezko case and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about).

  3. Isn’t that just so coincidental?

Seems those are the same years one Mr. Sinclair alleges a certain State Senator scored some crack for himself and some coke for Mr. Sinclair within a very short period of time. Interesting how now, this alleged State Senator has refused to allow his Tax returns for 1999-2000 to be released to the public as well.

Let’s not forget this same alleged State Senator also claimed he was on the road to addiction in his book. Me thinks he fudged some important dates and years about that, or he fell off the wagon. Has to be one of those two.

Yes you’re right Brian C. The William Ayers friend should be enough to say no to Obama and not vote for him!

  5. Correction on that … 1997-1999 Tax filings

  6. Is this going to be investigated? I’ve been searching on this topic and no other major news outlet has posted anything about this story while many other blogs only point back to here. It seems the media doesn’t want to let this cat out of the bag.

How does the government/police get involved into something like this at least to see if it is valid?

As you know, the mainstream media has been slow or non existent in probing below the surface of the outward Obama persona. Some are calling Obama the “golden boy” of the media. However, I am watching more news outlets pick up the general story. I applaud the LA Times for bringing out the story but there is so much more to discover. It is no wonder that Obama did not want to provide records. I and others are digging deeper. Keep watching the Rezko trial.
Keep watching this blog and others. Dig deeper yourself.
    Thanks for inquiring.
