H. Brooke Paige, whose case challenging Obama’s natural born citizen deficiency was rejected by Washington Superior Court Judge Robert Bent on November 2012, appealed his case before the following Vermont Supreme Court Justices on April 23, 2013.

Honorable Paul Reiber, Chief Justice
Honorable John Dooley, Associate Justice
Honorable Marilyn Skoglund, Associate Justice
Honorable Brian Burgess, Associate Justice
Honorable Beth Robinson, Associate Justice

Assistant Attorney General Todd Daloz represented Secretary of State James Condos.

The issue of standing dominated the hearing. Mr. Paige presented a clear definition of natural born citizen. His documentation was minimal. A further analysis of his argument will be provided later.

It is clear that the majority of citizens, including judges, attorneys and politicians do not understand what a Natural Born Citizen is as included in the
Constitution for presidential eligibility.

It is furthermore clear that status quo is passing the buck instead of fulfilling implied and explicit constitutional duties.

It is also clear that Secretary of State James Condos and other secretaries of state and election officials, when confronted by similar challenges about natural born citizen status should have requested clarification from their Attorney Generals and the courts.

Courts have shirked their responsibility, from the US Supreme Court to the state courts.

Marbury v Madison makes this clear.

“It is emphatically the province and duty of the judicial
department to say what the law is. Those who apply the rule to
particular cases, must of necessity expound and interpret that
rule. If two laws conflict with each other, the courts must
decide on the operation of each.”

“If then the courts are to regard the constitution; and the
constitution is superior to any ordinary act of the legislature;
the constitution, and not such ordinary act, must govern the
case to which they both apply.”
“The judicial power of the United States is extended to all
cases arising under the constitution. Could it be the intention
of those who gave this power, to say that, in using it, the
constitution should not be looked into? That a case arising
under the constitution should be decided without examining the
instrument under which it arises?  This is too extravagant to
be maintained.”

“Why does a judge swear to discharge his duties agreeably to the
constitution of the United States, if that constitution forms no
rule for his government? if it is closed upon him, and cannot be
inspected by him?

Assistant Attorney General Todd Daloz makes the argument that Secretary of State James Condos has no power or duty to vet a candidate.

Oh really?

The states are responsible for the primaries, general election and events leading up to the Electoral College vote.

US Constitution
Article II
Section 1

“Each state shall appoint, in such manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a number of electors, equal to the whole number of Senators and
Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or person holding an office of trust or profit under
the United States, shall be appointed an elector.”

Manner of voting

§ 8. The electors shall vote for President and Vice President, respectively, in the manner directed by the Constitution.

All state election officials swear an oath to uphold or defend the US Constitution.

Article VI of the US Constitution.

“The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislators, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the
United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution;”

Some states explicitly provide for challenges by the secretary of state.

“*** Current Through the 2012 Regular Session ***

O.C.G.A. § 21-2-5 (2012)

§ 21-2-5. Qualifications of candidates for federal and state office; determination of qualifications
(a) Every candidate for federal and state office who is certified by the state executive committee of a political party or who files a notice of candidacy
shall meet the constitutional and statutory qualifications for holding the office being sought.

(b) The Secretary of State upon his or her own motion may challenge the qualifications of any candidate at any time prior to the election of such candidate.
Within two weeks after the deadline for qualifying, any elector who is eligible to vote for a candidate may challenge the qualifications of the candidate by
filing a written complaint with the Secretary of State giving the reasons why the elector believes the candidate is not qualified to seek and hold the public
office for which he or she is offering. Upon his or her own motion or upon a challenge being filed, the Secretary of State shall notify the candidate in
writing that his or her qualifications are being challenged and the reasons therefor and shall advise the candidate that he or she is requesting a hearing on
the matter before an administrative law judge of the Office of State Administrative Hearings pursuant to Article 2 of Chapter 13 of Title 50 and shall inform the candidate of the date, time, and place of the hearing when such information becomes available. The administrative law judge shall report his or her findings to the Secretary of State.

(c) The Secretary of State shall determine if the candidate is qualified to seek and hold the public office for which such candidate is offering. If the
Secretary of State determines that the candidate is not qualified, the Secretary of State shall withhold the name of the candidate from the ballot or strike
such candidate’s name from the ballot if the ballots have been printed. If there is insufficient time to strike the candidate’s name or reprint the ballots,
a prominent notice shall be placed at each affected polling place advising voters of the disqualification of the candidate and all votes cast for such
candidate shall be void and shall not be counted.”

Explicit or implied,

Secretary of State James Condos took an oath to uphold the US Constitution.

One of the justices asked if all of the state election officials should be required to vet all of the candidates. That was not the question at hand.

In this case, the Vermont Secretary of State was notified of the problem and refused to act.

Once again, an American courtroom, despite the caution from Marybury v Madison, shirked their duty and tried their best to make this about standing.

Standing is a non issue in this case and they damn well know it!

In fact, at least one justice questioned this.

There are at least 3 reasons why H. Brooke Paige has standing.

1. Vermont election statutes clearly give him standing as a voter. Mr. Paige complied with the protocol.

2. Ruling from a lower court, the Superior Court.

3. The Tenth Amendment. If their argument is that the state does not have the power to challenge, then any citizen does.

Tenth Amendment

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the

Attorney Daloz tries to obfuscate and minimize the VT elections statutes in regard to Mr. Paige having standing.

Quite the contrary. They are crystal clear.

§ 2603. Contest of elections

“(a) The result of an election for any office, other than for the general assembly, or public question may be contested by any legal voter entitled to vote on the office or public question to be contested.

(b) A contest is initiated by filing a complaint with a superior court alleging:

(1) that errors were committed in the conduct of the election or in count or return of votes, sufficient to change the ultimate result;

(2) that there was fraud in the electoral process, sufficient to change the ultimate result; or

(3) that for any other reason, the result of the election is not valid.

(c) The complaint shall be filed within 15 days after the election in question, or if there is a recount, within 10 days after the court issues its judgment on the recount. In the case of candidates for state or congressional office, for a presidential election, or for a statewide public question, the complaint shall be filed with the superior court, Washington County. In the case of any other candidate or public question, the complaint shall be filed with the superior court in any county in which votes were cast for the office or question being challenged.

(d) The Vermont Rules of Civil Procedure shall apply to contests of elections, except that such cases shall be placed upon a special calendar, and hearings shall be scheduled on a priority basis, as public policy demands that such questions be resolved promptly.

(e) After hearing, the court shall issue findings of fact and a judgment, which shall supersede any certificate of election previously issued. If the court finds just cause, the court shall grant appropriate relief, which may include, without limitation, ordering a recount, or ordering a new election. If during the hearing the court receives credible evidence of criminal conduct, the court shall order a transcript of all or part of the testimony to be forwarded to the proper state’s attorney. If a new election is ordered, the court shall set a date for it, after consulting with the secretary of state; in ordering a new election, the court shall have authority to issue appropriate orders, either to provide for special cases not covered by law, or to supersede provisions of law which may conflict with the needs of the particular situation.

(f) The court shall send a certified copy of its findings of fact and judgment to the secretary of state.”

Here are segments from the court proceedings that relate to Mr. Paige’s argument and compliance and attorney Daloz attempting to prove that Mr. Paige has no standing. Attorney Daloz even further tries to dilute the standing issue by implying that congress should be the arbiter. The states control the election process until the certification of the electoral votes by congress. Only then can congress question eligibility. They have failed to do so.

The entire proceedings can be heard here.

Mr. Paige’s inaccurate statements about Obama’s birth certificate will for the moment be assumed to be based on ignorance and not agenda. This will be explored later.

A man identifying himself as one of the drone operators on point during the September 11 Benghazi attack called Sean Hannity’s radio show yesterday, alleging more information about the scene on the ground and the Obama administration’s handling of the attack.

According to the man, named only as “John in Iowa,” neither the administration nor Congress has even attempted to speak to him about what he saw during the attack.

He told Hannity: “The video footage — when we initially got on station and we were told to go down to the consulate — it was already under attack. It was already on fire [when we got there]. We were asked then to go to the annex to just try to watch and make sure that the individuals in the annex were not going to be coming under attack there either…”

He continued: “If anything were to happen, this video is being disseminated to multiple locations and agencies around the globe. So surely once individuals saw that there was a grave problem on a U.S. Embassy/Consulate, phone calls I would’ve think should’ve been made and started going up the chain, and eventually it would’ve hit the State Department. If it did not, individuals were remiss in their duties.”

John reiterated that they were working for an agency that already knew there was a problem in Benghazi; that’s why they were sent there.

This is where Roe v. Wade has brought us. It is gut-wrenching. The only peace I find is knowing that the precious souls of those dear babies have returned unto God, the one Who created them.

We Right-to-Lifers know that the real key to stopping the slaughter of the innocents is that the hearts and minds of young women be truly educated as to what abortion is: the taking of a human life – the killing of a child.

God will not hold back His anger forever. Maybe it will take severe persecution and upheaval in our country to cause a spiritual awakening. Without that, we are ultimately hopelessly doomed. 😥

I take offense to this comment.

I am an ardent supporter of Ron Paul, and I would suggest to YOU Dean M. that those who want to support Romney or McCain or Santorum or any of the other “middle of the road “consrevatives” are the ones you should be upset with and NOT those of US who are simply trying to get this Country back to where we SHOULD be.

I would admit that there are VERY FEW who support Paul who you could suggest were a little “out there”. The same can be said for the “right” AND the “left”.

I would be more than happy to debate you on ANY stance that Ron Paul took during his run to get the Country back on track.

Paul was the ONLY Candidate who gave us an opposing stance on most issues. The Republicans and Democrats are the SAME on MOST issues, only one side wants to go faster than the other.

Paul offered REAL (and painful) solutions to the problems facing this Country, and I argued and argued and argued that we needed to keep our nose OUT of what is going on in the Middle East including Iran, but was faced daily with people who know better for us, and believe that we should do everything to keep Iran from getting Nuclear weapons.

What have we done? Nothing but rile up MOST of the Middle East.

We are doing Israel NO FAVORS by causing these uprisings in the Middle East.

I have a REAL PROBLEM with the United States doing covert missions and supplying guns and other weapons ANYWHERE in the World.

But YOU Dean M. pick the subject, and I’d be more than happy to debate you on it using Paul’s stance as my guide.

And I would suggest to you that IF Paul would have been allowed to present his stance WITHOUT the “commentary” from the left and right, and WITHOUT bringing up things from 20 years ago that had already been settled (the newsletters), I believe that Paul would have gained traction and the Country would have been given a CHOICE instead of picking between the “better of two evils”.

The ball is in your court.

I would appreciate a retraction of your “wacko” comment.

All due respect to you Dean M.

I appreciate most comments you make, but this one needs to be addressed in my opinion.

The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father’s role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts — a child — as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters”

  14. Huckabee: Benghazi Scandal Will Cost Obama His Presidency

Influential Republicans are setting their sights on toppling the Obama administration as evidence of a cover-up over the assault on the Benghazi consulate gets stronger.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is now openly talking about impeachment, saying he does not believe Barack Obama will survive the remaining 3½ years of his presidency.

“When a president lies to the American people and is part of a cover-up, he cannot continue to govern,” Huckabee said on his radio show Monday.

“As the facts come out, I think we’re going to see something startling. And before it’s over, I don’t think this president will finish his term unless somehow they can delay it in Congress past the next 3½ years.”

Huckabee isn’t alone in his belief that Obama could be toppled. The pressure is growing just as Congressional hearings on the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks that left four Americans dead are due to start on Wednesday.

  16. Interested Bystander — Sorry to cause offense. I respect Ron Paul. On some issues I must give him credit for being the only one to speak in opposition to tyrannical government action. It’s just that some of his supporters, like this fellow Kokesh, seem off track in a big way. Also, some anti-Semitic things were published under Ron Paul’s name, from which he later disassociated himself. Still, how did that get past him? Did he disassociate from this only for political expediency? Only he can answer for his own conscience.

Then there is in my own personal circle of acquaintances. Some, who are Ron Paul supporters, have seemed incapable of carrying on a reasoned conversation if there is any criticism of Paul whatsoever.

I especially like Senator Rand Paul, the son. I suppose I just do no like ideology, period, whether it be Leftist, Libertarian, etc. I see Conservatism as non-ideological. It is based on consensus and upholding time honored values rooted in religious faith. Libertarians, in some ways, seem just as dangerous to me as ideologues of the Left. I see any kind of ideology is a substitute religion, which explains to me why some Libertarians seem to have a kind of religious zeal. Sorry for calling them “whacko.”

    Dean M.

    Thank you.

I understand your points, there’s just some I can’t agree with.

For example, you claim conservatism is “non-idealogical” because “it is based on consensus and upholding time honored vaues rooted in religious faith.”

I call that being ideological. Of course you don’t see it as ideology, because that is what you BELIEVE and rightfully so, and I’m not here to say you are right or wrong, but we can DISagree and you respect my beliefs (ideology) and I’ll respect yours.

And I know you didn’t mean anything personal by your comments, but like RMinNC, there are a few things that get me riled up.

Being called a liar is one (and I KNOW for a fact that RMinNC agrees), but another for me is being called a “radical”, or “whacko” or “extremist”.

I HONESTLY do not believe I am any of those things.

I believe that a TRUE Patriot supports things he doesn’t agree with, because that’s what the Constitution is all about.

For me the perfect example is abortion. The law of the land as it stands today allows for a woman to terminate the life of their child growing inside of them. I HATE that women do it, and I do not support them doing it, but who am I to tell them that they can’t. Until the law is changed, I believe women should be able to decide. Where I do draw the line is the Government paying for it. I want ZERO FEDERAL dollars going toward the termination of the unborn child. And as far as I’m concerned, to HELL with the “women’s health” issue. If the women REALLY cared about their “health”, they wouldn’t have laid down in the first place.

“Women’s health” by behind, what ever happened to personal responsibility?

But there are many others that I don’t agree with, which I believe the Federal Government has overstepped their bounds on.

The STATES have the power, at least that’s the way the Constitution READS, but the Feds have linked so much money given back to the States with MANDATES that the States are forced to obey if they want that money.

Why the Federal Government confiscates money just to give it back to the States is another issue all together.

Anyway, I hope you get my point.

    Thanks again.

Texas tells the usurper to go to hell.

A source with intimate information about the events that happened on the ground in Benghazi the night the U.S. Consulate and the CIA annex was attacked by terrorists told Breitbart News that, ultimately, only the President of the United States, or someone acting on his authority, could have prevented Special Forces either on the ground or nearby from helping those Americans who were under deadly assault.

According to the source, when the attack on the Consulate occurred, a specific chain of command to gain verbal permission to move special-forces in must have occurred. SOCAFRICA commander Lieutenant Col. Gibson would have contacted a desk officer at the time, asking for that permission.

That desk officer would have called Marine Corps Col. George Bristol, then in command of Joint Special Operations Task Force-Trans Sahara. From there, Bristol would have made contact with Rear Admiral Brian Losey, then Commander of Special Operations Command Africa. Losey would have contacted four-star General Carter Ham, commander of U.S. AFRICOM at the time.

“Ham answers directly to the President of the United States,” said the source. It wasn’t a low-level bureaucrat making the call, the source adamantly added.

That call may have been made early in the engagement. Both Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Martin Dempsey testified in January that they had no further communication with President Barack Obama after an initial briefing in the early hours of the Benghazi crisis, which continued through the night.

Once a rescue military force was assembled to go into Benghazi the ONLY person who could have ordered a STANDOWN was BARACK HUSSAIN OBAMA…..
Isn’t it time Congress stopped dancing around this issue and call “a spade a spade”?….

Benghazi was the disaster it was solely because of OBAMA…that truth will finally emerge before this is over….that’s a promise.

This is what happens when we elect a community organizer (foreign at that) as commander-in-chief……..death follows the uneducated.

  28. I guess all you have to do to hide any horrendous crimes is just keep quiet and don’t answer the door when the authorities come callin:

It was revealed today that the authorities had visited the house in Seymour Avenue in 2004 after former school bus driver Castro accidently left a child on a bus.

But when they got no answer, officials from the Children and Family Services Department left and never went back.

Compare that with those cops, via same kind of child “protective” services, yanking the tiny baby away from the truly concerned parents who were just trying to save their sick child from an inept nurse at a hospital while taking care to seek care at another…..reported on recently.

  29. Dear “Citizen WEIIs”

Thank You for your interest and support! I am well aware of the apparent shortcomings of my “oral argument”. Trust me it is difficult to be on- your “game” with the clock ticking. Oral Argument is really a misnomer as this is actually a “Q and A” affording the Justices the opportunity to seek further information after their through review of the briefs, appendixes( of documents and legal authorities) and the docket of the lower court “the printed case”. It is/was impossible to summarize the 225 years of history and source documents that support my litigation in the 15 minutes afforded each party.

I believe, based upon the Justices’ enquiry, that they had a solid grasp of the six underlying issues that arose as this case proceeded. In addition to the original issue of the candidate(s) constitutional qualification (natural born Citizen[ship]), the following procedural issues arose as the case evolved: 1 – Standing (of the plaintiff), 2 – Jurisdiction (of the Superior Court), 3 – Venue (of the Washington County Court), 4- Political Question, 5 – Mootness. All six issues were thoroughly explored and answered in the Appellants’ Principle and Reply Briefs (over 30,000 words in length – combined) prepared with the expert assistance of Mario Apuzzo, Esq..

As I expressed in my opening statement before the Court, I have proceeded “pro se” out of necessity after an exhaustive search for a qualified Vermont attorney – it was only after every competent member of the Vermont Bar had declined to accept my “engagement” because they did not believe they had the “expertise or resources” to properly prosecute
the case. Regardless of what is ( or has been) said elsewhere, Mario is the patron saint of this “pro se” litigant. Since I first contacted him last June, he has selflessly done everything I required to assist me in properly constructing and presenting my case and I truly believe we have presented evidence, history and law sufficient to allow the Vermont Justices to find favorably as to all six issues.

The Justices treated me and my action with both respect and the attention this important issue deserved . I salute them for having the insight and wisdom to accept the appeal from the lower Court and for allowing it to be presented before the full Court (as opposed to declining to hear the appeal or relegating it to the “rocket docket” !)

Lugo said about two years ago his sister told him she heard a woman pounding on a window at Castro’s home as if she needed help. When his sister looked up, she saw a woman and a baby standing in a window half covered with a wooden plank. His sister told him and Lugo called the police.

Later, Lugo’s mother called the police because Ariel Castro would park his school bus in front of their home and bring bags full of McDonald’s and drinks into his home. They wondered why he needed so much food. Police again responded but didn’t enter the home.

A third call came from neighborhood women who lived in an apartment building. Those women told Lugo they called police because they saw three young girls crawling on all fours naked with dog leashes around their necks. Three men were controlling them in the backyard. The women told Lugo they waited two hours but police never responded to the calls.

……..Cleveland officials said Tuesday that they have no record of anyone calling about criminal activity at the house, but that they are still combing their records.

this whole family appears something akin to diabolical infestation or something:

WKYC-TV, quoting unidentified police sources, reported Tuesday that the suspects allegedly forced the women to have sex, resulting in up to five pregnancies.

WKYC’s Tom Meyer quoted one of the sources as saying the captors would beat the pregnant girls. Two sources are quoted as saying the babies did not survive.

Emily Castro, Ariel’s daughter, is serving 25 years in prison for attempting to murder her infant daughter.

Court records indicate that Emily Castro moved to Fort Wayne, Ind., with her boyfriend Deangelo Gonzalez, where she gave birth to her daughter.

Emily Castro suffered from manic depression diagnosed when she was 13, the court record says. On April 4, 2007, a day after her boyfriend moved out, Castro, then 19, allegedly slashed the 11-month-old’s throat four times, cut her own neck and wrists and then attempted to drown herself in a nearby creek.

In an appeal filed Nov. 5, 2008 in Indiana, her attorneys argued that Castro was not competent to stand trial and that she was not sane at the time of the crime.

At the home in Cleveland, investigators worked through the night gathering evidence and clues in the case. They noted the presence of “disturbed” dirt in the backyard. WKYC says its source did not indicate whether that was related to the alleged pregnancies.

“Bill Ayers and His Media Groupies”

“Bill Ayers’ claim that the Weather Underground bombed property, not people, in order to protest the Vietnam War, is two lies in one. First, they specialized in anti-personnel bombs using heavy metal staples. Second, Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn were not opposed to the war, only to a U.S. victory.

Joel Gilbert, director of the film, “Dreams from My Real Father,” says it is likely that Barack Obama, when he was a student at Columbia, attended meetings of the May 19 Communist Organization, a support group for the Weather Underground and the Black Liberation Army. Two of their members are still on another FBI wanted list. “I had one source who ID’d Obama as having attended May 19 public meetings,” he tells me. He adds that Obama, in his book, Dreams from My Father, describes attending several events in New York City (such as a Malcolm X movie screening) that are identical to documented May 19 events.

Obama’s Marxist background and connections are the story of a lifetime. It’s a story the media “forgot” to cover in their rush to make him President. But the whitewashing of Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn is equally odious.”

  49. GORDO………

    from the inside out……..

at the present time there are over 110 members of our Congress that are communist leaning or outright communist…..

It is hard to believe that the American people are electing these people to foofice….but then again how many of the “uninformed public” were around when communist were the scourge of the earth?

Today, the voting American will vote for anyone or anything that will put more unearned benefits on their plate….We live in an age of “ME,ME,ME”

This attitude will eventually destroy the “goose that laid the golden egg” and America will be no better than the third world banana republics….in fact, the third world republics will most likely be better off !

But this is part of the bigger plan….the NWO (New World Order) cannot be implemented until the American Republic is destroyed and lying in the dust bin of history…only to be remember by our grandchildren and their children as a “noble experiment of foolish men”.

This is a hell of a legacy to leave those who follow us.I am ashamed of our refusal to act. If the current generation doesn’t change this around soon, we (the current adults) will be remembered as the “generation that “scuttled the republican ship of state in favor of the dreaded slavery of communism”……….

I for one, do not want my grandchildren to remember me this way…….I’m sure there are millions and millions of other real Americans that feel the same way….

We still have time to save this REPUBLIC, but if we don’t act soon, all will be lost.

  50. CW – as long as other taxpayers don’t pay for the bacon – it’s good for you.

  52. JACK TAPPER (CNN) is trying his very best to throw HILLEEY BLINTON under the bus for OBAMA with Pat Smith, mother of Sean Smith, who was killed at Benghazi…..

But it won’t work Tapper…..OBAMA gave the stand down order. that resulted in the deaths of those agents….period.

OBAMA, you can send all of meanions out to try and spread (bovine doo-doo, as cabbyaz calls it), I call it BS, and it won’t work…to that I say, OBAMA, YOU AND YOU ALONE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THOSE DEATHS…….

I think BENGHAZI has the potential to bring down this CRIMINAL CABAL…….

Then all the other “bovine doo-doo” will flow downhill, along with all the others responsible for putting this illegal alien in power in the first place….if I were Nancy Pelosie…I would be very worried about now.

  54. Mornin’ folks. What a world, eh? It just plain feels weird and the media, both mainstream and internet, looks frenzied–The Human Comedy or Human Zoo, whatever it is. Sometimes we can take it all too seriously. I speak for myself. I can take it all too seriously.

As for Mrs. Clinton’s role in Benghazi, her guilt comes from not coming clean. It may be out of fear. It may be out of denial. Her whole liberal ideology is being challenged and shown wanting. She was once a “Goldwater Girl” and Republican. She was brainwashed in college and then attached her star to her long haired liberal husband who showed so much political promise. But underneath, all this time, has been her Methodist upbringing and her start as a Goldwater Girl.

The Big Question: When is Hillary Clinton going to free herself from the liberal BS and be honest with herself and the rest of the world? The man responsible–where the buck stops–is in the White House. Who ordered the stand down and why? Some of us have a pretty good idea. And some know the truth and can testify to it. I pray Hillary be given the courage and strength to tell the truth, if and when she is called up again. Hopefully she will be called again, after the whistle blowers testify. If so, hopefully she won’t fall down and bump her head a 2nd time.

  59. Attkisson’s Willingness to Investigate Obama Earns Washington Post Profile

The Washington Post found CBS News investigative reporter worthy of a profile Tuesday. Why? Well, her willingness to actually investigate the Obama White House makes her unique outside of Fox News and right-leaning media. A sad commentary on the overall media to be sure, but the Post points this fact out without irony in a piece titled: “Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News, a persistent voice of media skepticism on Benghazi.”

Believe it or not, Children, there was a time when a “persistent voice of media skepticism” towards those in power regarding an incident that involved something like the death of four Americans wasn’t unique. In fact, a long, long time ago The Washington Post itself was pretty famous for its willingness to hold power accountable.

But all that changed over the last couple of decades, which means we have arrived at a dangerous time in our country where a reporter actually doing her job is enough of an outlier to become news itself.

Well, I should say, a reporter doing her job when it comes to holding Democrats accountable is enough of an outlier…

Regardless, Attkisson, who has been fearless in pursuing both the Fast and Furious and Libya scandals, most certainly deserves the kudos. She also offers some insight as to why the rest of the media either downplays Libya or has aided and abetted the White House in its cover up:

She says she has received “a tremendous amount of pushback” from the White House as a result of her reporting on Benghazi and Fast and Furious. Among other things, she says, White House officials have called and written her bosses at CBS to complain about her work. She says she doesn’t find that unusual or even disturbing.

This is a smart play for the White House to use against the media. An overwhelming majority of reporters are not only Democrats but completely enamored with Obama. Knowing he disapproves of something they are doing would absolutely crush them. So a call from the White House expressing this disapproval has obviously worked when it comes to convincing the media to do Obama’s bidding.

Attkisson, thankfully, is immune to this kind of pressure because her fidelity to duty and integrity obviously mean more to her than a pat on the head from the White House.

    Imagine that.

  63. Fourth Benghazi witness gagged by red tape

Obama administration officials are finally letting the attorney for a Benghazi whistle-blower get a security clearance — but the clearance is at such a low level that it will probably slow the congressional probe of how the administration handled last year’s terrorist attack on the embassy in Benghazi, Libya.

Victoria Toensing represents an unnamed government official who can help explain the reaction of top government officials to the jihadi attack on the U.S diplomatic site in Benghazi and killed four Americans last Sept. 11.

The official may also be able to explain if officials rewrote intelligence reports and took other actions to minimize media coverage of the administration’s errors and the perceived role of Al Qaeda jihadis.

  72. HonorFirst

Hicks testimony alludes to hostage situation….The ambassador taken to hospital taken over by the enemy….sure looks like a plan (as we have suggested) that it was a ploy to take hostages and swap with the blind sheik

  73. Rep Eligah Cummings (D) Maryland is like a “cat with the runs” trying to cover up the BS that was spread by Clinton and Obama…

    Didn’t work with me.

  74. Pardon mw while I PUKE….Rep Maloney ( or should I say, Baloney) is way out of line….she says the military would NEVER refuse a call for help…..

I agree…when the militaysomeone is given the chance to do so…SOMEONE told the militayr to stand down…..that SOMEONE was the COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF….

Yet his name has not been mentioned yet …WHY?.

  75. Mr. Hicks….I have a question:

    Come’on guys…..ask some questions with substance !!!

  76. Since my last question has about as much chance as a “snowball in hell” of being ask or answer Let me provide my answer to that question:

Stevens was being set-up for a kidnap…..Obama was going to play the hero and trade “the blind sheik” for Ambassador Stevens….but things went wrong. the two CIA agents threw mud in the works by arriving before the kidnap could take place….

I think Steen’svs was there under the pretense of running guns through Turkey to the Syrian rebels…..

  77. Why can’t I get C-Span 3? I’ve got Dish program with the most channels.
Anyway, I got up late and am listening on Fox News. The Dems are speechmakers and try to deflect from the real issues. Expected.

  78. Yep Cabbyaz…the DEMS are deflecting and GENAFLECTING again to Obama…..nothing more is expected….

  79. Mr. Bill(ms. helga)

cabbyaz – Remember the three most important words in the American lexicon.

    1 – RATINGS
    2 – Cleavage
    3 – “Absolutely”

The hearings are being covered on all of the news cables.

PS – The character I most dislike is MS Maloney(Rhymes with Baloney) of NY who stated all written info has The Sec of State signature on them whether she did or didn’t!?!? BS

  80. Mr. Bill(ms. helga)

PPS – cabbyaz – You can get c-span3 on your computer. Just google up “C-span”

  81. RMinNC — The question concerning the Turkish ambassador is important. It has to do with the gun smuggling angle of what happened in Benghazi–arms to the Syrian rebels.. It is thought the Turks had something to do this.

  82. Mr. Bill,
Never thought of watching on computer – Thanks!!

  83. Something to do “with” this. Typo.

  84. What sticks in my mind is Hillary on TV saying those “brave Libyans taking Ambassador Steven’s body to the hospital” and later seeing his poor dead body slung over the back of some muzzie after suffering Gawd knows what indignities. I think it would be damning to hear that statement, and see that footage, juxtapositioned together. Other brave men lost their lives that night, too. Sorry Dean M…no sympathies for Hillary. If she couldn’t bear the way things were going, she should have resigned much sooner as Secretary of State. It seems apparent to me the threats on Hillary began way, way back, and she accepted “a deal with the devil” to hang on to power any way she could, give up on running for the presidency, and give up on our country, in exchange for becoming Secretary of State. And when “that call came at 3:00 in the morning”, she was just the devil’s stooge.

  85. This is not being covered now, nor should it necessarily be, but I’ve been thinking again about the FBI’s huge delay in investigating at the Benghazi site. Remember it took a number of weeks before they went to the consulate, and by that time the scene had been contaminated. Compare that delay with their usual M.O., e.g., they were on the Boston bombing investigation like white on rice. That is what we expect.

That would indeed be a powerful punch! I wish someone with the capability to make videos would do a short, potent one on that very subject.
    Citizen journalism!

  87. Kiltie — I agree Hillary was the devil’s stooge. I just pray her better nature now asserts itself and she comes clean. Otherwise, her soul is in jeopardy.

My theory is, she thought she was doing the right thing supporting the Syrian rebels. We supported the overthrow of Mubarak and Gadhaffi. So now it was Assad’s turn to go down. But no. It was okay to overthrow Sunni dictators somewhat favorable to the US. But not a Shiite dictator favorable to Iran.

So Hillary was out of step with her boss who is pro-Iran. To Obama’s pro-Iran circle Stevens had to be stopped. How could Obama do this without showing his hand? Arrange for his kidnapping and then make an exchange for the Blind Sheik. It would stop the arms to the rebels in Syria and a successful exchange would make Obama look great.

Of course, that is my surmise and I could be dead wrong. But if I am right, has Hillary and Company now figured that out? Have they figured out what the cover-up is really all about? If so, what will she do? Will her Goldwater Girl self, after all these years, come out?

  88. Well, if the LSM needs a diversion so that they can continue to avoid Benghazi, they’ve got it today. The Jodie Arias trial verdict is going to come down at 4:30 PM Est., and we all know that will suck out the oxygen this evening.
Of course, the escaped kidnapped girls is also a huge story developing further now.

However, the LSM can run on Benghazi, but they can’t hide.

  94. Unfortunately, I think Neil Boortz is right….Americans have turned into a bunch of needy idiots..

  95. Paxson,
Thanks for Boortz’ article, which I can’t disagree with. For one thing, Watergate happened in the early 70’s. Lots of folks living today weren’t even born yet or were just kids.

Furthermore – and this is the biggest difference, imho, – the press at that time saw to it that the W. scandal was all over the news – both print and TV. I well remember those days and the hearings were plastered non-stop. I doubt if there was any adult that didn’t know that Nixon was “guilty as sin”, according to what they were hearing and reading.

Today it is just the opposite, plus we have loads of folks who really don’t care about loss of lives in Libya. They are more interested in self-gratification, or sensational news like the disgusting coverage of the alleged murderess, Jodi Arias, and similar titillating stuff.

  96. Mr. Bill(ms. helga)

The RATINGS counting machine must be going nuts. People are switching all over the place between C-span , MSNBC, Fox, CNN etc. And the verdict is guilty of first degree.

    Hey All,

I’m baffeled as to why we were even IN Benghazi?

I mean, did I hear Nordstrom say we had 264 “Special Missions” facilities around the world?

264 (or a number around there).

What the Sam Hill is our “National security interest” to be in 264 “Special Missions” facilities?

    My first question is WHY?

I’m sorry, but I have a VERY hard time finding the United States’ National security interest in Libya.

I see no reason for us to have ANY kind of presence in Libya, or Syria, or Iran, or Egypt, or Jordan or Saudi Arabia.

Call me an isolationist, but I’m thinking we have some pretty big issues here at home that needs tending too. Not that I don’t think we can’t multi task, but we have SO MANY problems right here, multi tasking is essential.

    And where’s Steven’s autopsy report?

I guess it must be me, but I find it hard to believe that we have these weapons that we are giving, selling, or who knows what else to people we have no idea who they are, other than what they represent themselves to be.

We HIRED a ANTI AMERICAN group to “protect” us in Benghazi.

But WHY are we even doing ANYTHING remotely lke this?

Didn’t we learn our lesson in Iran Contra? NEITHER side turned out to be our friends, and THAT is where we are headed in the Middle East.

We arm BOTH sides through “channels”, and then the weapons I predict will be used AGAINST us, like in Iraq.

We supported Iraq and sold them “hardware and ammo” back in the 70’s after the Shaw was tossed, and then Iraq attacked Iran, and we supplied weapons to Iran.

I’m thinking we should “stand down” altogether in the Middle East.

Our history there sure isn’t very good.

It’s almost like we stay until we fail, and then we turn tail.

    THAT’s why they hate us.

Nobody died in Watergate, but the President resigned because he told “them” to cover it up.

Obama had Susan Rice go on 5 Sunday morning TV shows and spew the rhetoric that this was caused by some spur of the moment “demonstration” over some video that was posted on you tube.

THEY KNEW BETTER, and COVERED IT UP, intentionally and with malice.

The sheeple would have bought this bull hook, line and sinker had The President of Libya hadn’t already said that the attack was done by a terrorist group, and a small voice started asking questions.

Brian Terry’s family deserves answers also.

I believe the blame goes all the way to Obama, who I believe went to bed after being informed on the attack in Benghazi, and then flew to Las Vegas for a fund raiser the next morning, at taxpayer’s expense I’m sure.

I’m sure he felt he had the best people possible handling the “situation”.

Obama signed off on the COVER UP that Susan Rice spewed.

Clinton is gone, what are they going to do, hold her responsible for the four deaths?

Are they going to arrest her and put her on trial?

I think probably not, and if it got that far, Obama would simply pardon her and tell the Country that in our “National interest” it would be best our Country not go through with this process.

    Zach asked about George Zimmerman,

This is something that I have been following, because I believe that George was simply defending himself, and I believe the witnesses will corroberate George’s story.

Then the people of Orlando AND MIami (I believe that Martin was from the Miami area visiting his dad while suspended from school for punching a school bus driver, who lived with his girlfriend at the complex where the event took place) will have a reason to get some free stuff and beat some hispanics and whites.

Just my opinion of course, time will tell.

As far as I’m concerned….she has always been tarnished goods, ever since VINCE FOSTER came up with an extra hole in his head…. I will admit, part of that can be put on BILL’s doorstep…..but

It was HILLERY who was so anxious to sweep FOSTER’s office out..I wonder why?

I started following the Jodi Arias trial midway. She is a cocky, manipulating cold hearted murderer. I was drawn into the proceedings after watching her testify and lied through her teeth. The prosecutor was excellent in methodically demonstrating the lies and the step by step premeditation.

The only reason I mention this here at CW, is today I finally saw justice served up. I can’t help but see the correlation between this case and what is going in in D.C.

We have a very manipulative, lying and (post Benghazi) murderous regime
They are also in-your-face cocky and self assured. They behave as if they are above the law and are accountable to no one. Hopefully, just as in the Arias trial….the lies, deceit and crimes will eventually be brought to life. I believe the Benghazi hearings today will awaken those that have wilfully fallen asleep. This just may be the beginning of a great awakening.

The jurors in the Arias case restored my faith in our justice system.

Reasonable people listened to the gruesome evidence, dismissed the lies and manipulations and ultimately found the truth.

Lady Justice shone down on Arizona today….I pray she will shine on the entire country as more testimony comes to light.

    Good post !

We can only hope there are more and more than 12 “reasonable” people that can listen to the evidence before them and think for themselves.

  115. Rush: Obama sending secret signals in speeches

PALM BEACH, Fla. – President Obama is sending secret, coded messages to Mexicans, letting citizens south of the border know that he agrees with their contention that much of the Southwestern U.S. rightfully belongs to Mexico, claims radio host Rush Limbaugh.

Last week, Obama addressed students at the Anthropology Museum in Mexico City, saying, “Our attitudes sometimes are trapped in old stereotypes. Some Americans only see the Mexico that is depicted in sensational headlines of violence and border crossings – and let’s admit it. Some Mexicans think that America disrespects Mexico, or thinks that America is trying to impose itself on Mexican sovereignty or just wants to wall ourselves off. And in both countries, such distortions create misunderstandings that make it harder for us to move forward together. So I’ve come to Mexico because I think it’s time for us to put the old mind-sets aside. It’s time to recognize new realities, including the impressive progress of today’s Mexico.”

Limbaugh says he was at first puzzled by Obama’s statement that America was imposing its sovereignty on Mexico, before it finally struck him.

“This sovereignty business, this is significant. This is not a throwaway. That’s a dog whistle,” he said.

“It’s a huge dog whistle to radicalized young Hispanic voters. What he did was send signals to that voting block beneath the radar, because most people not gonna understand what is sovereignty business. That block that’s underneath the radar – Telemundo, Univision – he’s telling them that he agrees with them that California should still be Mexico and that New Mexico should still be Mexico.”

Limbaugh indicated Obama counts on the mainstream of America not hearing or understanding what he’s saying in speeches meant for foreigners.

“But we just blew his cover decoding this,” he continued. “I won’t be surprised if we get some blowback on this. They’ll start calling me a bunch of names and accusing me of making things up or accusing me of harboring hate for all these people. Accusing me of, once again, Limbaugh goes off on an extreme tangent, expect something like that, because this is huge. There are radicalized Mexicans [who believe] California’s still theirs, particularly Southern California. Arizona, New Mexico, radicals. And Obama’s just fueled ‘em. He just told ‘em he agrees with ‘em.”

Limbaugh called the coded messages “a big deal,” adding:

He didn’t talk about Mexico immigration policy. He didn’t talk about Mexico’s need to reform its government, its socialist policies. He didn’t talk about how America helps Mexico financially. He didn’t talk about how we feed and clothe and educate and provide health care to even those from Mexico who are illegally in the United States. The sovereignty business, if you wanted to go to an extreme, you could almost say that Obama has it actually backwards, that it’s Mexico imposing its sovereignty on us. Because we are being made to feed, clothe, and house and provide health care for its citizens. Is Mexico doing that for American citizens? Huh! Try to go down there and become a Mexican. You can’t do it. Their immigration laws, you don’t even want to mess with it, folks. You do not want to mess with it. They do not play games with their immigration.

When has a president of the United States ever attacked America’s sovereignty? I think this is a first. I am not aware of any president ever attacking America’s sovereignty. And in coded language, which is what this was, he’s winking and nodding and dog whistling to the radicalized – not all of them – the radicalized Hispanics. (imitating Obama) “I get it, I get it, we should never have taken Mexico. It’s really yours. I get it, I get it. We’ve been mean. We’ve been imposing our way too long.” Time for a new mind-set.

In one final political dig, Limbaugh noted, “By the way, the warmonger president who took Mexico, James Polk, was a Democrat. Abraham Lincoln was a Republican.”

  116. An email received today:

    Want a Free House?
I was in my neighborhood restaurant this morning and was seated behind a group of jubilant individuals celebrating the coming implementation of the health care bill.

I could not finish my breakfast. This is what ensued: They were a diverse group of several races and both sexes. I heard a young man exclaim, “Isn’t Obama like Jesus Christ?

I mean, after all, he is healing the sick.”

A young woman enthusiastically proclaimed, “Yeah, and he does it for free. I cannot believe anyone would think that a free market wouldn’t work for health care.”

Another said, “The stupid Republicans want us all to starve to death so they can inherit all of the power. Obama should be made a Saint for what he did for those of us less fortunate.”

At this, I had more than enough. I arose from my seat, mustering all the restraint I could find, and approached their table. “Please excuse me; may I impose upon you for one moment?”

They smiled and welcomed me to the conversation. I stood at the end of their table, smiled as best I could and began an experiment.

“I would like to give one of you my house. It will cost you no money and I will pay all of the expenses and taxes for as long as you live there. Anyone interested?”

They looked at each other in astonishment. “Why would you do something like that?” asked a young man, “There isn’t anything for free in this world.” They began to laugh at me,

as they did not realize this man had just made my point.

“I am serious, I will give you my house for free, no money whatsoever. Anyone interested?”

In unison, a resounding “Yeah” fills the room.

“Since there are too many of you, I will have to make a choice as to who receives this money-free bargain.”

I noticed an elderly couple was paying attention to the spectacle unfolding before their eyes, the old man shaking his head in apparent disgust.

“I tell you what; I will give it to the one of you most willing to obey my rules.”

Again, they looked at one another, an expression of bewilderment on their faces.

The perky young woman asked, “What are the rules?”

I smiled and said, “I don’t know. I have not yet defined them. However, it is a free home that I offer you.”

They giggled amongst themselves, the youngest of which said, “What an old coot. He must be crazy to give away his home. Go take your meds, old man.”

I smiled and leaned into the table a bit further. “I am serious, this is a legitimate offer.”

They gaped at me for a moment.

“I’ll take it you old fool. Where are the keys?” boasted the youngest among them.

“Then I presume you accept ALL of my terms then?” I asked.

The elderly couple seemed amused and entertained as they watched from the privacy of their table. “Oh yeah! Where do I sign up?”

I took a napkin and wrote, “I give this man my home, without the burden of financial obligation, so long as he accepts and abides by the terms that I shall set forth upon consummation of this transaction.”

I signed it and handed it to the young man who eagerly scratched out his signature.

“Where are the keys to my new house?” he asked in a mocking tone of voice.

All eyes were upon us as I stepped back from the table, pulling the keys from pocket and dangling them before the excited new homeowner.

“Now that we have entered into this binding contract, witnessed by all of your friends, I have decided upon the conditions you are obligated to adhere to from this point forward. You may only live in the house for one hour a day. You will not use anything inside of the home. You will obey me without question or resistance. I expect complete loyalty and admiration for this gift I bestow upon you. You will accept my commands and wishes with enthusiasm, no matter the nature. Your morals and principles shall be as mine. You will vote as I do, think as I do and do it with blind faith. These are my terms. Here are your keys.” I reached the keys forward and the young man looked at me dumbfounded.

“Are you out of your mind? Who would ever agree to those ridiculous terms?” the young man appeared irritated.

“You did when you signed this contract before reading it, understanding it and with the full knowledge that I would provide my conditions only after you
    committed to the agreement.”

The elderly man chuckled as his wife tried to restrain him. I was looking at a now silenced and bewildered group of people.

“You can shove that stupid deal up your a** old man. I want no part of it!” exclaimed the now infuriated young man.

‘You have committed to the contract, as witnessed by all of your friends. You cannot get out of the deal unless I agree to it. I do not intend to let you free now that I have you ensnared. I am the power you agreed to. I am the one you blindly and without thought chose to enslave yourself to. In short, I am your Master.”

At this, the table of celebrating individuals became a unified group against the unfairness of the deal.

After a few moments of unrepeatable comments and slurs, I revealed my true intent.

“What I did to you is what this administration and congress did to you with the health care legislation. I easily suckered you in and then revealed the real cost of the bargain.

Your folly was in the belief that you can have something you did not earn, and for that which you did not earn, you willingly allowed someone else to think for you. Your failure to research, study and inform yourself permitted reason to escape you. You have entered into a trap from which you cannot flee. Your only chance of freedom is if your new Master gives it to you. A freedom that is given can also be taken away. Therefore, it is not freedom at all.”

With that, I tore up the napkin and placed it before the astonished young man. “This is the nature of your new health care legislation.”

I turned away to leave these few in thought and contemplation — and was surprised by applause.

The elderly gentleman, who was clearly entertained, shook my hand enthusiastically and said, “Thank you, Sir. These kids don’t understand Liberty .”

He refused to allow me to pay my bill as he said, “You earned this one. It is an honor to pick up the tab.”

I shook his hand in thanks, leaving the restaurant somewhat humbled and sensing a glimmer of hope for my beloved country.

  120. Pingback: Vermont Obama eligibility challenge update, May 19, 2013, H. Brooke Paige appeal in VT Supreme Court, Awaiting decisions on multiple issues, Obama not natural born citizen | Citizen WElls

  121. Mario Apuzzo and Counsel Press filed a Writ of Centiorari with SCOTUS on behalf of H. Brooke Paige in the constitutional qualification ballot challenge case of Paige v. State of Vermont, et al. Wells will have more information and the Writ to post shortly.

  122. Wells,
I’m not a big believer in conspiracies so I will consider this a curious circumstance only!

The scan of the Verified Complaint that I sent you was complete ( I double checked, assuming that something went wrong when my wife scanned and sent it to me, and it was there) , however when it was published on “Scribd” page#15 which contains the birth circumstances of Cruz, Jindal and Rubio was curiously missing. The location where the page should have appeared is a blank image – not missing.

Without further speculation or comment I am sending it along here for your readers, I have copied the part of the paragraph (#22) just before and the balance of that paragraph just after the missing material:

(form page 15 of the complaint)

    22. In the 2016 Presidential Election, in addition to Socialist Party candidates Lindsay and Osorio, who have vowed to run in every election regardless of their constitutional qualification debility; three of the Republican Party candidates are known to have birth circumstances that preclude their qualifying for the office they are seeking.

    (a) – Texas U.S. Senator, Rafael Edward (Ted) Cruz, was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to a Cuban citizen father, Rafael, who became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2005, long after his son’s birth.

    (b) – Louisiana Governor, Piyush (Bobby) Jindal, was born in Baton Rouge, LA to Indian nationals who had recently arrived in the U.S. on visas at the time of their son’s birth. His father, Amar, was in the U.S. on a P3-1 professional work visa while his mother, Raj, was in the U.S. on a student visa: neither was a U.S. citizen at the time of their son’s birth.

    (c) – Florida U.S. Senator, Marco Antonio Rubio, was born in Miami, FL to two Cuban nationals who came to the U.S. before Castro came to power. Mario Rubio Reina and Oriales (Garcia) Rubio left Cuba in 1956 and continuously resided in Miami – however they did not become naturalized citizens until 1975, when Marco was already four years old.

None of the above mentioned candidates meet the “natural born Citizen” qualification set forth in the U. S. Constitution for serving as President of the United States and Commander in Chief of the Military. Mario Apuzzo, Esq. has written a dissertation delineating the debilities of each of these candidates which bars their serving: “Senator Cruz, Senator Rubio, and Governor Jindal Should Not Be Allowed to Participate…(2015)” (Exhibit H).

(end of missing material from the complaint)

I am uncertain what happened here, let’s write it off to a electronic glitch !

    Best Wishes, Brooke
