My ancestral roots go back to the early 1700’s in NC and though my recent ones do not include participation in the NC Democrat Party, the old conservative Democrat Party of NC, which did not shun God, country and common sense, would have been easier to embrace.

You have heard Barack and Michelle Obama and other democrats lie about job creation, inheriting a mess and blame George Bush.
The Democrats took control of both houses of congress in January 2007 and Obama took control of the White House in January 2009. A perfect storm of incompetence.

Let’s examine for a moment a microcosm economy, Greensboro, NC, the third largest city in NC, the home of UNCG, where Michelle Obama recently bragged about jobs and what they had done for college students.
In January 2007, when the Democrats took control of congress, the unemployment rate was 4.6 to 5.2 percent (looks like somebody has been “tweaking” the numbers).
In December 2008, after 2 years of Democrat control, the rate was 8.2 percent. In January 2009, when Obama entered the White House, the rate was 9.6 percent. Did the rate jump actually jump 1.4 percent in one month (to maybe help Obama)? Since the Democrats were in control anyway, who cares.
The rate for July is listed at 10.2 percent.
So, with the efforts of the Democrats beginning in January 2007 and Obama working with them beginning in January 2009, the unemployment rate went from 4.8 – 5.2 percent to 10.2 percent.
That is certainly change!

My favorite comment about Obama.
We all knew it was bad. We were not in the dark at all and are better informed than the masses. Nonetheless, this past week seemed to overwhelm me – not the pie-in-the-sky speeches …..we knew that was coming – but the reality of the extent to which such a hard core has truly taken over the Dem Party …….The idol worshippers (not of God, but King Obama), the teary-eyed young folks, as well as the oldsters who have lived life long enough to have SOME sense but were as slap happy as the rest.
The crowning point of reality was the booing of God and Jerusalem. You can’t cover that up or make excuses for it. It was right there in plain sight on national TV. This sends chills up my spine and puts lead in my heart as the week drew to a close. Yeah, this was just a few days at a political convention, but it is a microcosm of where the entire Dem Party has gone.
Oh, there are still God-fearing Dems around, but they will have to make a decision soon. Are they going to continue to follow the Party line to the end? If they don’t wake up soon, their blindness will be incurable and devastating beyond anything even they could ever imagine.

It IS a spiritual battle! Reasonable people do not act this way. It is as though they are under a spell (or, more aptly put – a curse) and have been given a dose of a powerful narcotic. I believe that this realization is what grieves some of us so much. Lying is the order of the day. Lying is deception, and those who practice it the way it was last week, are self-deceived.
History has proved that once this takes hold in a country there is seldom, if ever, a reversal. We are all remembering Nazi Germany much these days.
I do believe that the battle is not lost and that God is on His throne. Therefore, we have to be brave and continue the fight.

I have a question that no one seems to have an answer for. This has been bothering me for some time, perhaps someone on this website has the answer.
The question is:
WHERE HAS GEORGE BUSH BEEN FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS?
For the past four years, Obama has been throwing everything but the kitchen sink at the former president, but not one peep have I heard in return. WHY?
We have heard from all other former president, except George Bush. Jimmy Carter, as bad as he was, still chimes in…Daddy Bush , who is pushing 90, still has a voice…..and of course Slick Willie, who has outlived the blue dress incident, and the lying to a Grand Jury, still is the darling of the jackass party.
Where is George Bush and why has he turned into a recluse?
Does Obama have something so terrible hanging over George’s head, something that is keeping George from voicing his opinion? Blackmail has been a great motivator for Obama in his climb to fame.
If it is something like this, it must be a serious matter to completely silence George, and force him hold up in Texas like an outlaw on the run.
I would be interested in hearing other people’s opinions on this matter. For the past four years, Obama and every democrat in the USA have used Bush as a punching bag. Bush has not returned a single punch in that time. He has made no public appearances, or attended any of his former party functions. Why?
Why has he turned into a hermit?
I have always been taught that silence is concurrence. Could it be that our former president agrees with all that the alien Mr. Obama is dishing out against the American people?

My view is Soetoro/Obama was recruited during his student days at Columbia to work for the CIA. This was due to his Muslim background. The CIA recruited Muslims during the Cold War. It was thought the US had common cause with the Muslims in fighting “Godless Communisim.”
We backed Bin-Laden and the Muslim Brotherhood in those years and helped to create the jihadist monster of today. When 911 came along, George W was taken by surprise. He wanted to be the President of “Compassionate Conservatism” and “No Child Left Behind.” This included augmented support for faith-based social work.
Instead of “Compassionate Conservative,” W Bush was thrown into the arena of foreign policy. War dominated his Presidency. He was unprepared for that. As he result he relied heavily on his father’s former advisors and in particular Rumsfeld. He listened to Rumsfeld over Powell. But Powell understood war much better than Rumsfeld. Powell then left the administration and Rumsfeld’s ideas led to disaster in Iraq. President Bush had to go to the military for advice. The generals said he needed to send 25,000 more troops to Iraq to avoid complete disaster. So he did.
He then replaced Rumsfeld with Bill Gates and Powell with Condi Rice. And the surge was successful. But W Bush was demoralized by this time.
Toward the end of his Presidency he then saw his old opponent in the GOP, Senator McCain, running for President. He saw McCain as lacking expertise in foreign policy, especially regarding the Middle East. (McCain said things indicating he didn’t know the difference between Sunni and Shiite.)
W Bush then heard about a Muslim expert–an up and coming Senator–who had worked for the CIA. His name, Barack Obama, newly elected in Illinois. He saw Obama in the light of Powell and Rice, black Americans who were experts in their spheres. And he saw McCain as a kind of Rumsfeld who led him astray on the issue of how to fight the war on terror.
Powell came out and openly endorsed Obama. Obama said he would keep Gates as Sec of Defense if elected. So, behind the scenes, W Bush secretly supported Obama, thinking he was the expert who knew the score in the Muslim world and would act in the best interests of the US.
That is part of why Obama was able to fly in under the radar. He had secret backing from W Bush and others in Washington, to include, eventually, the Clintons, because of his former service as a Muslim recruit in the CIA.
This is just a brief sketch but this is why I think W Bush has been so quiet. Anyway, that’s my view.

Sometimes it takes people a long time to catch on. I think some of the insiders, if not most of them, have begun to catch on to the fact that Obama’s sympathies do, in reality, lie with Shia Islam and Iran. I have absolutely no proof so this is purely conjecture, but I always felt that Bush Sr. was the one who hired mr. Soetero in the CIA and Bush Jr. would do anything to protect his dad from feeling the affect of the debacle we have now. I just feel betrayed by our representatives and our judicial system.

Htmfc. Bush Sr was head of the CiA for one year in 1976. This doesn’t match Obamas timeline. That doesn’t mean that they don’t know or.aren’t hiding anything. I’m still thinking an “October surprise” is possible on information that they have been sitting on and maybe holding back knowing the economic conditions were going to be a shambles the past four years so that is why they conceded in ’08. Just a theory.
My opinion on the Bush silence is definitely due to threats and blackmail.
As long as Bush keeps his mouth shut, barky and fellow travelers will continue to quash the calls for Cheyney and Bush to be delivered to the Hague to be tried for trumped up war crimes. And, I also believe the 2008 pre-general election “financial crash” was by design to start the funneling of our Treasury, paychecks and personal property.

In an interview a few months ago, Bush 43 said he believes former Presidents should stay out of the spotlight and not do anything to interfere with the current President’s policies. While that may be honorable, the other side does not feel the same way.
Further, I think its foolish not to defend oneself against constant attacks. That is what Bush 43 did while he was President (not defend himself) and that is why he left office with high negatives.

While our school children were reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and the United States of America every morning in the years 1967 to 1971, Barack Hussein Obama was in Indonesia reciting the Islamic call to prayer in perfect Arabic. Patriotism was not instilled in his heart as a child like American children.
