“Obama Ballot Challenge Filed in Missouri”

“Dear Patriots,
I am dedicated to the ideal that each of us can impact the outcome of the 2012 elections. This Tuesday ironically Valentine’s Day 2012, at 08:15am in hearing room 5, in the basement of the Missouri state capitol building there will be a hearing on the second attempt to force the Missouri Secretary of State to properly have vetted and certify with best evidence available, the credentials of the President and the Vice President in accordance with the U.S. Constitution.

In 2010, during my campaign for the U.S. Senate; I was required to provide evidence of eligibility to run for office. If I had failed to do so by such date, I was going to be removed from the primary ballot by the Secretary of State. In my case she was doing her job and I proudly obliged. Later, I found out that I was singled out or flagged according to the person at the elections office.

The president continues to profess that we are all to play by the same set of rules. As such I have taken it my personal responsibility to ensure that all candidates running for federal office this year play by the same set of rules. All candidates, including the President and Vice President need to provide irrefutable proof of eligibility. Furthermore, in spite of the 2000 report from the inspectors general office published in Kansas City, all documents must be submitted and verified for authenticity. No exceptions will be made if we are all to truly play by the same set of rules.”

“Today we are more divided than we ever have been in American history.  We find elected state and federal officials take an oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution but then turn a check to suit political interest. As an officer in the United States Army, I have taken that same oath five times in my 15 years of service.  The first time I took the oath was on August 14, 1995 when I became an American citizen.  American Military men and women like me take that oath seriously and we are willing to give our lives to defend it.  It’s a personal insult to Veterans when politicians ignore their duty to support and defend the U.S. Constitution and they don’t.   There is a complete lack of true transparency and oversight in our political process.”

“This hearing to me is not about any single person.  Rather it’s about the integrity of our complete governing system.  As evident in the 2000 report, document fraud is prevalent in all aspects of our lives. Of which the most prevalent is birth certificate fraud and identity theft.   Document fraud cost Missouri Taxpayers millions of dollars every year, it cost the U.S. Government billions of dollars every year.  If we are to protect our political, economic, and national security interest whilst at the same time save tax-payer dollars by cracking down on welfare fraud, voter fraud, identity theft, healthcare fraud what better place to start than at the top if we are all to play by the same set of rules?  We have established long ago, during the Nixon Administration that no one, including the President is above the law.”

I started this life in an orphanage and was eventually adopted. As a result, I have had personal experience with birth certificates.

We have something in common. Although I was never an orphan, I was adopted and have 3 birth certificates throughout my youth. The last is always considered the “original”.

It would appear that those ultra-wealthy powers that are hell-bent on destroying the United States in order to achieve their new world order, are doing so not under one act, but under many cleverly hidden pieces of legislation.

The foundation for our republic and our democracy is being meticulously assaulted and torn away with cunning and deception. Carefully crafted legislation has undermined our Constitution and eroded our liberty, ironically under the guise of preserving both. A complicit media has been a key linchpin in the coup, but a servile populace, lulled to sleep by the
media, has enabled its own peril.

The cabal that controls our politicians and our government has shifted their takeover plan into 5th gear. They are racing ahead at breakneck speed and appear to be in fear of losing the control they’ve worked to accrue. They have been moving quite fast and as a result have exposed themselves out of their fear.

They see a Ron Paul campaign gaining steam, and that’s the last thing they want. Dr. Paul and Congressman Dennis Kucinich are both outspoken critics of the Federal Reserve and both want to have it turned over to the US Treasury. As Paul’s star begins to shine brighter on the campaign trail, this crooked
cartel seems to be pulling out all the stops to try and save their patient 98 year plan for world domination. They know full well that a Paul presidency would be the end of their criminal regime.

NewsFocus has alerted key trustworthy Congressional members in regards to what is unfolding. It is hoped that the white hats of Washington can prevail on our behalf before it is too late.

With the good Lord’s help, the criminal rat bastards of wealth that are behind this coup will be arrested for their high crimes and finally see prison time. It is our fervent hope and prayer that their long treasonous coup will finally fail. These imperial forces must be stopped at all cost for our republic to prevail.

If indeed their plan should blow up on them, the world will have Joe Joseph and his wife Angie to thank. They are the ones who uncovered the smoking gun FEMA NCP document. They have given us all a fighting chance to stop this coup before it happens.”

Isn’t Maldonado the candidate that law student j*** called a liar?

  7. Yes,,

Coldwarvet, jbjd is a she. The JD does represent a juris doctor. Yes, she is an Attorney.

I agree with the fact that jbjd listed in originality the ballot challenges – not only in discussions with many various websites, but also the development of her own over past time. Of that, there is no doubt for any avid reader and anyone that has been paying attention to the unfolding over such years.

I certainly do not agree with jbjd views and interpretations on the Minor Supreme Court interpretations, History and other inclusive facts that she [jbjd] disagrees/omits/disregards with; but that doesn’t take away from what she has produced with the ballot challenges, which are correct in my opinion.

No Court in the U.S. has reviewed on the merits of Minor V. Happersett pertaining to Obama and thus declared Minor V. Happersett invalid, null and void, irregular, nor have they derived at any other conclusion. The merits of such argument have never been heard in court. It has always been dismissed for lack of standing or lack of jurisdiction, and a few other technicalities. For anyone to declared that the “Courts agree” that Minor has failed, is an outright misrepresentation of the argument.

  8. Of Course ColdwarVet,

After saying that. Jbjd might change her nail color to blood red instead of orange? That is a joke of course.

As I am aware, jbjd is well equip with and thick skin enough to fend for herself. I’m just wondering how long those nail are?

  9. The Obama regime continues to shred our Constitution and all those who are in a position to stop it refuse to do so. Oh yes! They throw up their hands and say “This is horrible! This is deplorable!” But they do nothing. NOTHING!

This is akin to calling 911 while your house is being broken into and the dispatcher says “Oh, I’m so sorry this is happening to you. Good bye.”

This situation should never ever have gone so far. No wonder people stock up on guns, ammo and food. We have a contract, in my opinion, with our elected representatives, that they will truly represent us! I know this is overly simplistic but, when a contract is broken, doesn’t the offended party have the right to walk away? Then again, where do we go? It’s like an abusive marriage.

We are a nation of laws, but there is no one willing to enforce them.

How true, how sad. And standing behind any so called “Representative” will do what? That is the quagmire and conundrum coupled together.

There is a way of showing “no confidence” and shock the parties into the peoples will.

  12. And that is by not voting for the lessor of two evils.

“This story begins in 1139, while on a visit to Rome, when St. Malachy reportedly had a vision seeing the succession of the 112 popes who’d follow Pope Celestine II until the end of time. Although the prophecies are cryptic and esoteric to some, many historians believe they’ve proved remarkably accurate in describing each successive pope.

Now, after many centuries, the sobering truth is that we’re down to the last popes in the prophecy. The current pontiff, Pope Benedict XVI is the 111th pope, and the next will be The Final Pope in Malachy’s prophecy — the 112th pope. According to Malachy, he’ll be the pope who reigns when Jesus returns to judge mankind.

So, what exactly does the last prophecy say about the 112th pope? It says: “In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman), who will feed his flock amid many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the formidable (also translated, “dreaded” or “dreadful”) Judge will judge the people. The End”

  14. william,
i agree 100%. I haven’t/won’t follow or discuss the primaries. I won’t be voting for anyone that doesn’t deal with barry’s eligibility and/or crimes. I get the feeling that sherrif joe will basically come out with something like if there’s smoke there’s fire. Nothing will come out of this. If they had uncovered actual crimes they certainly wouldn’t wait a month.

  15. I agree William,

“Now, just when it seems the House is about to see a victory in the Fast and Furious  investigation, it appears that Boehner and other Republican leaders are doing more to hinder the investigation than to help it.  A number of reports are starting to surface that this past week, Boehner and his close colleagues have been secretly meeting Democratic leadership to discuss ways of halting Issa’s investigation of Fast and Furious.
This begs the question of what in the world is Boehner doing and why?”

“If there was an annual Benedict Arnold Award, I would nominate John Boehner to be this year’s recipient.  Perhaps as long as Boehner retains the position of Speaker of the House, his title should be Traitor of the House.”

  17. Just wondering… William & Hockeyfan,
Does that mean that you will simply stay home on election day if your candidate is not running? I’m voting for RP in the primary here in VA even though I know he has no chance of winning the general. I do hope he has had some influence on the Republicans as I agree with DeMint that Libertarianism should not be alian to conservatives. I’m not so sure I’m willing to go as far as you guys and
NOT vote for Romney if he is the nominee in the general. I have grandchildren. I guess that says it all.

Yes, lessee is a word, a noun properly used in your sentence. Violation of human nature to suppose power is the reason our founding fathers came up with the bill of rights and outlined the Constitution defining federal limitations, also explained in the federalist papers. Of course I know you are aware of this, I am simply stating it for other readers.

It is natural for man (human) to want more power with checks. History has proven this. For this reason of document behavior throughout time, the bill of rights was established, built on a foundation of past wealth of knowledge. You know this of course and I’m rambling.

  25. Bless you William for your previous comments. Now tell me, will you stay home Nov. 6?

“Barack Obama may have just lost the election. He has foolishly gone to war in an election year with tens of millions of Catholics, Protestants, and Jews – Democrat, Republican, and independent alike. He has thrown down a radical feminist gauntlet and dared the Church to pick it up.

    They’ve picked it up.

From running up trillions in debt and deficit, to the vast expansion of the size and scope of federal bureaucracy, Mr. Obama has done more in three years to supplant our 236 year-old Constitutional Republic with a Euro-style socialist autocracy – than a lesser Marxist could have accomplished in a lifetime.

But controlling the purse strings is not nearly enough. A central element of full-blown secular-socialism is the suppression of religious liberty – principally, freedom of conscience.

Karl Marx once said: “The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion.”

When Karl Marx speaks, Barack Obama listens.

In what is perhaps the most egregious executive overreach in our lifetime, the president’s Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, has unconstitutionally decreed that both Catholic and Protestant organizations must violate fundamental tenets of the Christian faith by providing ObamaCare coverage that includes birth control, sterilization and various forms of abortion. This is as blatant a violation of the First Amendment’s guarantee to religious “free exercise” as we’ve ever seen.

Despite two pathetic feints at “compromise,” Obama’s illegal requirement that faith-based groups pay for policies providing immoral “reproductive services” remains in full force.

On Friday, the Obama administration offered its latest non-compromise “compromise.” LifeSiteNews.com reports: “The White House announced today that, instead of forcing religious employers to pay for birth control, it will force insurance companies to offer the drugs free of charge to all women, no matter where they work.”

America: this arrogant, narcissistic, amoral man thinks you’re stupid. Who do you think pays for the insurance policies that provide “free” birth control, sterilizations, and abortifacients to employees? Why, the very religious organizations doctrinally prohibited from paying for these “services” in the first place, of course.

This is nothing but a South Side Chicago shell game, dressed up as a concession.

Obama’s unprecedented attack on the First Amendment continues full steam ahead.”

Well, you most certainly deserve an answer to a blunt question. My answer is this. For the first time in my life (nearly 50 years old) I will not be voting. I can and will explain why if you wish. I will also say this; the GOP does not have enough support to beat Obama. I am and always have been a registered Republican.

“This is an outrage, an absolute outrage,” Attorney Orly Taitz told a radio audience in Western New York. She believes Judge Michael Malihi, a Clinton era appointee, is from Iran which could have a bearing if he is steeped in Sharia Law. When he brought down a favorable decision for Obama’s appearing on state ballots, Taitz sent by overnight courier a 23 page appeal to Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp pleading with him to ignore the judge’s advisory decision – to no avail.

Kemp rubber stamped the Malihi decision, and now the appeal process begins in earnest. Plaintiff attorney J. Mark Hatfield will escalate this case to the appellate level immediately. With emergency appeals well in place before Georgia’s March 6 Super Tuesday, Hatfield told World Net Daily:
”I will be filing that on behalf of Carl Swensson and Kevin Richard Powell just as soon as I can get it drafted!”

Taitz told her listeners: “It was abundantly clear…that Judge Malihi was under an outside pressure to rush the case.” Her appeal contains three key procedural points. First, Malihi refused to allow her to properly present her opening statement. Secondy, he rushed plaintiff witnesses. Finally, throughout the case he would allow only the Natural Born Citizen argument. But what Malihi did was unprecedented because he based his decision on the Arkeny [sic] v. Daniels case out of Indiana which was never cited by the defense! […]”

“The Taitz presentation revealed that our current president’s name on his mother’s passport was SOEBARKAH, yet in his Indonesian school records his last name is Soetoro! She said on appeal: “Obama never presented admissible competent evidence showing Obama to be born in this country, yet the judge considered Obama to be born here.”

She also appealed for consideration the fact that there is “no valid Social Security number, and that the E verify test failed” for the number commonly given. But in spite of his verdict, the judge for the first time allowed evidence pertaining to the challenge of Barack Obama’s eligibility to run for U.S. President to be admitted into open court, thus paving the way for the appeals process. Obama’s Malihi victory may be a Pyrrhic one indeed!

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio is announcing the findings of his cold case posse research on March 1; he told reporter Jerome Corsi in an exclusive story that some will find the results “Shocking!”

“Forcing us to buy health insurance and pay for abortions whether our conscience will allow it or not are not the only dangerous elements of Obamacare.

Americans for Prosperity (AFP) has examined the bill and provided its opinion of what is wrong and dangerous about Obamacare. Here are the AFP’s observations.

It’s partially true that healthcare will be rationed. Cost limitations are mandated and will be enforced.

It is true that a committee of government bureaucrats will decide what treatments you can receive with no appeals accepted.

Despite doubletalk to the contrary healthcare costs for ACORN the SEIU the UAW and other unions WILL be subsidized by you. And remember the Obama Administration will be keeping the books so “favored” organizations will NEVER run out of our money.

Yes ACORN will directly benefit from this scheme (don’t listen to the liberal line that “ACORN does not dispense healthcare so how can they benefit?”) because ACORN regardless of its new name will be paid to sign people up for their “free” government healthcare.

Doctors’ wages will be fixed by the government without regard for specialty. Dermatologists and brain surgeons will get the same pay. This will cause shortages of brain surgeons – why study that hard for the same pay?

Bureaucrats will regulate the rental and purchase of powered wheel chairs. The claims in the “Power Chair” commercials that “You cannot be turned down,” will be a thing of the past.

Cancer treatments will be reviewed – which means reimbursements will be cut and care will be reduced. This also means there will be NO experimental cancer treatments because, “If it is not already approved, comrade how can you receive it?” Without approval for experimental trails there will be no more cancer research. Virtually NO new medical treatments come from Europe.

The government will restrict services to “special needs people” which means Downs Syndrome and other cognitively disabled Americans will find few services. This also means those whose guardians do not opt for the very common “hole in the heart” operation will be slowly “denied” to death.

Bureaucrats will “council” elderly people about being euthanized or committing assisted suicide.”

The law in MO does not require the candidates who are selected via party nominating convention, to establish eligibility for the ballot, but only the candidates who are chosen through the primary contest.

Time for filing of a declaration of candidacy–form of declaration.

115.349. 1. Except as otherwise provided in sections 115.361 to 115.383 or sections 115.755 to 115.785, no candidate’s name shall be printed on any official primary ballot unless the candidate has filed a written declaration of candidacy in the office of the appropriate election official by 5:00 p.m. on the last Tuesday in March immediately preceding the primary election.

    2. No declaration of candidacy for nomination in a primary election shall be accepted for filing prior to 8:00 a.m. on the last Tuesday in February immediately preceding the primary election.

    3. Each declaration of candidacy for nomination in a primary election shall state the candidate’s full name, residence address, office for which such candidate proposes to be a candidate, the party ticket on which he or she wishes to be a candidate and that if nominated and elected he or she will qualify. The declaration shall be in substantially the following form: I, ……………………., a resident and registered voter of the county of ……….. and the state of Missouri, residing at ……., do announce myself a candidate for the office of …… on the …… party ticket, to be voted for at the primary election to be held on the …. day of ……, …, and I further declare that if nominated and elected to such office I will qualify. …………………………. Subscribed and sworn to Signature of candidate before me this ….. day

    of ………, ……. …………………………. …………………. ……. Residence address Signature of election

    official or other officer

authorized to administer oaths …………………………. Mailing address (if different) …………………………. Telephone Number (Optional) If the declaration is to be filed in person, it shall be subscribed and sworn to by the candidate before an official authorized to accept his or her declaration of candidacy. If the declaration is to be filed by certified mail pursuant to the provisions of subsection 2 of section 115.355, it shall be subscribed and sworn to by the candidate before a notary public or other officer authorized by law to administer oaths.

    (L. 1977 H.B. 101 § 10.100, A.L. 1982 S.B. 526, A.L. 1983 H.B. 713 Revision, A.L. 1993 S.B. 31, A.L. 1999 H.B. 676)

Mr. Maldonado cannot both accuse President Obama of being “above” the law; and, at the same time, based his charges on MO law. Because under MO law, no requirement exists that in order to appear on the ballot, he must be eligible for the job.

i know it’s a small percentage of “birthers” that are going to sit it out.

Small is underestimating. Remember, the Karl Rove’s and the Entire Congress has called 58 percent of their (our) party that votes for them, ignorant, stupid, Conspiracy theorists, dumb, ignore them, Anti-American, Racists, and the likes. Not including the polls which declare the same with over 40 percent of independents.

Does one really think that if they were running for office of Mayor, they could say such and still be elected with full support? I don’t think so. And they will not rectify it. Rather they continue to defend it. It will be a downfall. But not enough of one.

    Saying the obvious…

This great country of ours has been hijacked by those that want to destroy it.
We are certainly at the tipping point now and I will not let those that sacrificed all to have died in vain.

Obama and his radical administration MUST be removed. We are already at an overwhelming disadvantage with the media and Acorn. Their goal is to win at any cost. If you choose to stay home on election day, you will have no one to blame but yourself.

“[…] Question: Does anyone in this country still remember that the US Constitution is our foundational LEGAL document? And what is it about “no authority” that seems to confuse so many of the Obama media?

As I have written over and over again for years, if Obama is allowed to get away with flaunting the Constitution and its essential Bill of Rights, it’s as if our founding document no longer exists and Obama may now make up any law he wants to install.

But, as Congress continues to illegally give Obama more and more dictatorial powers (sadly, I wrote that—if Obama was elected—this would occur in October 2008), we have now reached the point that Obama is—fully—the Dictator-in-Chief of the USA. I have also written myriad columns warning that Obama is grabbing more and more power for himself, gutting more and more programs in order to pull in more and more money for himself and his friends yet, no one in Congress or the courts are even trying to stop him. And all too many of the former We-the-People will do anything about it.

As Obama continues to decimate our economy by destroying the US treasury and gut any of our remaining freedoms in order to force us into submission, I’m reminded of the tribes of Israel when they originally settled in Egypt. Genesis 47:19 states: “Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.” They were willing to become slaves to Pharaoh for bread and grain.

Knowing that Obama truly is the one who has systematically devastated our country—by design—in order to subjugate its people (he is a true Alinskyite) are we, nonetheless, now ready to be his slaves? Are you?”

  41. Mr. Bill(ms. helga)

Now listen Folks – If there was ever a time when our illustrious government deserves the quagmire that they have caused to prey upon our nation, it is now. Both parties have fouled this nation to the point of a total financial disaster. Through their own greed and self building careers they have lost the meaning of a Constitutional Republic. They have sucked the free enterprise system bone dry and created a nanny mamby pamby cotton puff ball nation, which is dying before our eyes.
Here is the plan that will tie them up so much in a bind that we citizens will sit back and see if they can come up with the right plan for the right reason.
I will call the plan the “The Constitutional Bind-up” which is what they have caused by their own greed and fear of protecting it. It is very simple.

1 – Ron Paul has to run as a Constitutional Party candidate

2 – The USURPER runs as the USURPER from USURPERVILLE

3 – The Republicans can run anyone. IT DOESN’T MATTER!!

Now here is where the fun begins. It is obvious Ron Paul has a following from both parties, in fact enough that probably neither party achieves the 271 Electoral College votes to win the election. OH NO, Now what do we do??
The Republican controlled Congress will now have to MAKE A DECISION. OH NO!!!. YES YES. THEY WILL NOW HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION. SOMETHING THEY HAVEN’T DONE IN YEARS. They will have to choose the President.

  42. william,
i agree with you in that the republicans have insulted “birthers”….then they ask for our votes/money. Not going to happen with me.

I say a small percentage due to the fact that all of blogs i follow the users overwelmingly say that they will vote Anyone but obama….so i just assumed i was one of the few who will sit it out.

  43. Hockyfan530,

You are not alone. In fact, the GOP votes will be millons short. They are simply unaware of it yet, or in denial. But in November, it will be “What happened” – and – “What went wrong”.

Point in matter, they already know.

  44. William@3:55
No need to explain. I understand. I also am not a neoconservative. Had the privilege of voting for Reagan twice. My roots are also in the Constitution and more so… the Bible. I believe our founding fathers were steeped in Bible knowledge which gave them the gonads to break free from our oppressors and craft a document unlike any other… The Bill of Rights and The Constitution. Whatever you do, you do.

  45. william,
I really wish there were a petition people like you and i could sign. Maybe then they’ll get it. But i think the republicans are wanting to have their own ineligible candidate…
As far as barry and his crimes I simply don’t get that…strange world where common sense is completely gone!

  46. Hockyfan530,

Something else mounting. Ron Paul fans, do or die votes. Even if 5 percent sit out, that is huge. It takes less than a few \to win or lose a Presidency. In other words, say 15% Rep. sit out,, 8 % Ind sit out, and 20% RP/Lib sit out. That equates to one hell of a loss. And that is just basic frustrations. Assuming those frustrated stick with their claims.

To make matters worse, lets force the snowball to roll. Not just a loss, but a massive loss by huge margins. Will that then gain their attention?

In other words. When a team “barely losses” to an opponent, not much is changed in strategy. However, when a team is completely humiliated in defeat, exhumed and washed in such, then and only then from the ashes arise a new plan and new team.

But until then, you will always hear the Political strategists such as Rove say, “oh so close” – Oh next time – and “Oh we almost beat them”….

Oh, and until then. so close……

  47. william,
i don’t think the republicans know that some of us will sit it out. THey are counting on us and ASSUMING we’ll vote for ANYBODY. They need to know that’s not true at all.
But i do agree with everything you’re saying….i just don’t see it much on here and some of the other “birther” blogs

  48. SueQ,

I once took an online examine of a battery of political questions. The results showed that I was Libertarian. I say they questions were skewed with today’s versions of neoconservative.

P.S. If you tell anyone that, I will deny it….. (smile)

  49. In my opinion,

2012 should signify to our GOP party, the Phoenix Bird. Maybe Arz. has more of a significant meaning embedding in history than we think….

    …from the ashes….

  50. William
Thanks for the low down on jbjd…my assumptions were so, but you know about assumptions…the nails?…well, the pen is far mightier than the sword I suppose…lol
I have been around this game for a while now. I have never in my life ever seen a political situation in this country the likes of which we are witnessing now. Not even close. I sincerely believe that this first administration of Obama was a test. It is about testing the public, all the while formulating a plan to subvert or, possibly even suspend, the Constitution and facilitate a communist takeover of the United States. If you think this first administration of his in the Whitehouse was bad, just wait until you see what is coming down the pike. I hope you, and all those who plan not to vote on November 6, indeed have a plan B ready for implementation now, or feel you can ride out the next 60 or 70 years until the masses feel they’ve had enough and are ready for a change. You may disagree with that, and you may be correct, but I hope you feel you can afford to take that kind of risk. Granted, the field currently running as conservatives are somewhat sad as a group, but I do not believe ANY of them have within them the desire to deliberately destroy the United States by subjugating the population (at least any more than it is already). Even with a conservative win, along with both houses of the congress, it will now be many years to repair the damage that has happened in the last 3 years. I’m afraid I, for one, do not have that kind of time…but I DO have a plan B…as I have said before…sometimes you just have to hold your nose and vote…like we did in the last election.

  51. 100,000 Petitions Sent To Sheriff Joe Arpaio In Support Of Obama Eligibility Investigation

100,000 line up to back Sheriff Joe
Petition says Department of Justice investigation just a political attack
    Jerome Corsi @ WND

Officials with Grassfire Nation, a key coordinating group for tea-party-type activities and issues, say the Department of Justice’s investigation of Maricopa, Ariz., County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is nothing more than a political attack.

And to offer encouragement to the sheriff, Darla Dawald, representing the Grassfire Nation group, has presented Arpaio with a petition of some 100,000 signatures from people who have declared their support for the law-enforcement officer.

Grassfire Nation supports the Patriot Action Network, which calls itself the “nation’s largest conservative social action network, involving tens of thousands of citizens,” including many tea party members.

The petition demands DOJ prove its accusations that Arpaio’s office has engaged in a policy to systematically violate the civil rights of Hispanics, which WND has reported DOJ refuses to do.

The petition claims the DOJ investigation is nothing more than a baseless, politically motivated attack on Arpaio.

William, maybe you are an optimist or maybe you are just foolish. I don’t believe our country can survive another 4 years of this man. If you are willing to sit home just to prove a point, and if there are many like you, then God help us. Praise the Lord and pass the ammo.

  53. I was just thinking, while considering the ballot challenges and checking to see what the states have to say concerning their own elegibility rules and reqirements. Surely Jan Brewer, governor of Arizona, had more to say to Obama than just reiterating the contents of the published letter she handed him on the tarmack at the airport. She vetoed a bill which indeed would have put the president in a very bad situation and she knew it…and he knew it. I will never understand that, as it is common knwledge that she doesn’t even like him. I will always wonder just what was really being said out there and why he would simply turn his back on a governor of a state, mid sentence, and walk away. Maybe her check bounced…hmmm

  54. I agree SueQ – WILLIAM, do not say you are serious!

  55. …on Joe Arpaio
I believe that this one may indeed go the distance. This is not an administrative or court action. It sounds as if it is a full blown criminal investigation with the force and color of law behind it.
If nothing else, it has definitely shown that the administration is extremely worried about this. They know how manage the law in court, but this is not in court…yet… How do you crack an elected law enforcement officer with an apparently stellar background. If the sheriff or his character were at all impeachable, I believe it would have either come out or otherwise been indicated by now.
I also believe that this wasn’t anticipated by the Whitehouse. It came out of left field and the potential for damage is immense. Makes one wonder if the investigation might possibly touch the upper echelons of the DNC or maybe even the DOJ as well, as they, thus far, have not endeared themselves to him.
Of course all this remains to be seen, but it is serious as is evidenced by the fact that Arpaio has dissed Orly Taitz completely, thus cutting off any avenue of approach of the Whitehouse from that direction. The petitions…merely moral support in this instance as are the nature of petitions anyway. Now…ten million petitions, that might get someone’s attention. It was a nice gesture never the less.

  56. I think the behavior of both Boehner and Brewer can be explained in the following way.

I don’t know this to be true, but suspect it may be.
Remember, these are politicians, not people of strong principle.

Suppose you’re Boehner and you have something very significant on Holder/Obie. What do you do with that info?

If you attach Holder/Obie, then they will counter -attack. True or not it does not matter. Boehner may have skeletons in his closet. It would be like the old US/USSR nuclear war – mutually assured destruction. Boehner does not want to get destroyed or even shot at.. so this does not look like a good option.

But suppose instead of attacking Holder/Obie you promise to withhold the information.. and call off the dogs.. in exchange for some favor down the road. A favorable vote.. the pResident signing a bill, a weak opponent in the next election.. Suddenly this looks like a great option because Boehner has much to gain by witholding damaging information and little to gain(personally) by sharing it and forcing the issue.

I suspect the same of Brewer.

These folks did not get into their current positions by taking an “over my dead body” stand on some issue of right and wrong, but rather by trading favors and information for power.

I expect they will continue to do the same.

    Power corrupts.

  57. SueQ
I personally don’t care if Obama only loses by one lousy vote. As long as he loses. We ARE up to our collective asses in alligators and it is long past time to begin to drain the swamp. We can worry about Rove later, but you are correct in that he is an irritation at best…IMHO

  59. One last thing…unless someone provokes a response…smile
All I see on this blog and many others is the continual reference to the Whitehouse, Obama, and almost any other entity ….
Try to keep in mind the ones that have truly hurt us as a populace, and starting way before Obama. They being the DNC. I believe it would be a very productive thing to keep them at the forefront of our conversations here. Obama didn’t do this by himself, it is far too complex. This situation we now find ourselves in is the product of collectivism and statism at it’s worst.

I truly don’t understand your comment. I never mentioned Rove nor did I say Obama was an irritation. I think I made it plain that we cannot afford 4 more years of this man. Period!

At the very least, if Sheriff Joe gets a warrant issued for his county/state, then o cannot ever enter that county/state without risking an arrest. Of course the SS would still protect o, but the news would have to get out to the rest of the country. (I hope)!!

  66. Calling all VETERANS…..MARCH FOR RON PAUL…..

Air Force Lt. Colonel Kwiatkowski (ret) Will be at the Ron Paul is the Choice of the Troops March – Feb 20

  67. A Crazy Old Coot

This is one vet that will NEVER march for a coward like RP. He is afraid of Iran and wants to let them have nukes!!

  68. Santorum vs. Paul – PASS IT ALONG!

Rick Santorum helped create the fiscal calamity that is destroying the United States. He was, and is, as much a part of the problem as Obama and the Democrats. Ron Paul, meanwhile, was and remains the lone, consistent voice of opposition to the big-spending, government-expanding schemes of both Republicans and Democrats. Santorum’s path has led the country to ruin. If Dr. Paul’s prescription had been followed, all of this could have been avoided. Here is the record.

As a U.S. Senator, Rick Santorum voted to raise the debt ceiling FIVE TIMES. Ron Paul has opposed EVERY debt ceiling increase, and has NEVER voted for an unbalanced budget or tax increase.

Santorum voted to DOUBLE the size of the U.S. Department of Education. Ron Paul has always advocated ABOLISHING the Department of Education, as Ronald Reagan promised but never did.

Santorum supported the largest expansion of the welfare state since the 1960s, the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit, which added a $16 TRILLION UNFUNDED LIABILITY to the national debt. Ron Paul has always opposed ALL federal interference in medicine — even as a doctor, when he treated patients for free rather than accept Medicare and Medicaid payments from the government.

Santorum supports foreign aid, the process by which the U.S. government borrows money from China and uses it to bribe and prop up foreign governments (including China’s), while taxing Americans to pay interest on the loans. Ron Paul has NEVER voted for foreign aid because, as he points out, it is not permitted by the Constitution, it is a bad idea, and, anyway, the U.S. government is broke.

Santorum was a vocal cheerleader for war against Iraq and voted for the authorization to use force, which left the decision of whether or not to go to war in the hands of the president. As a result of the war, more than 4,000 American service members were killed and more than 30,000 were wounded. Untold numbers of Iraqi civilians died and Iraq’s Christian community was decimated. The war cost more than $700 billion in direct appropriations and much more when the indirect costs (long-term treatment of wounded veterans, etc.) are factored in. Now, after a partial American withdrawal from Iraq (an embassy larger than the Vatican remains, along with high-paid military contractors), the different ethnic factions of that country are embroiled in a civil war. And all of this because of fear-mongering over non-existent weapons, based on fraudulent information.

Ron Paul saw the push for war against Iraq beginning right after 9/11, and issued many articles and statements against it. On September 4, 2002, just months before the war began, Paul addressed the House of Representatives: “Mr. Speaker; I rise to urge the Congress to think twice before thrusting this nation into a war without merit — one fraught with the danger of escalating into something no American will be pleased with.” When it became clear that war was imminent, Paul introduced a resolution calling for a declaration of war, as required by the Constitution, although he intended to vote against it. This was blocked by other members of Congress, one of whom told Paul, “That part of the Constitution is anachronistic. We don’t follow it anymore.”

Now, after all the needless death and destruction wrought by the Iraq war, Santorum is leading the charge for another war of aggression based on dubious claims about weapons. And Ron Paul is, once again, counseling restraint and a return to the neutral foreign policy advised by America’s founders.

    There’s more, sadly.

Santorum sided with big labor unions, and against Ron Paul, in opposing the National Right-to-Work law, which would have protected workers from being forced to pay union dues. He supported federal housing programs and government-sponsored enterprises like Fannie and Freddie, which inflated the housing bubble, while Ron Paul warned — as far back as 2001 — that a bubble was forming and would eventually burst, and even proposed legislation to eliminate the line of credit from the U.S. government to Fannie and Freddie.

Ron Paul has never taken a government-paid junket, has refused participation in the lucrative congressional pension plan, and returns a portion of his office budget each year to the U.S. Treasury. Santorum, on the other hand, collected $100,000 in taxpayer funds from the Penn Hills School District between 2001 and 2005 to pay for online courses for his home-schooled children. He did this by fraudulently claiming residency in Pennsylvania while he and his family actually lived in Washington, D.C.

If you support Santorum, don’t act surprised when you end up with more of the same — more big spending, debt, wars, lies and corruption. If you want real change — if you REALLY believe in the principles of limited government enshrined in the Constitution — then the choice is obvious. Go with the only candidate who has ALWAYS stood for these principles, through thick and thin, and oftentimes alone: Ron Paul.

  69. COC…lucky for us you are in the minority and most clear thinking AMERICANS who have the BOOB TUBE off know your state reason for NOT SUPPORTING DR. Paul is BOGUS and A BIG FAT LIE…..Dr. Paul has never said any such thing…..he doesn’t want ANYONE to have nukes…..especially IRAN!

I see you post over at DR. Kate’s blog too…..I would like to see you say those things about Dr. Paul over there….you would be RUN off rather quickly….Dr. Kate doesn’t take kindly to folks like you who SMEAR the doc with LIBEL and HALF TRUTHS!!

  70. Coot,
I’m a Paul supporter and he’s not a devil. But neither is he the “messiah” that JS paints him out to be.

Honestly? I think his son has much more appeal. Anyway, I support him not because of his foreign policy, but for his fiscal policy which is arguably more important right now. I also believe the man trusts YOU to manage your own affairs, take care of your own family, tend to your own community without federal interference. In other words, he treats us like adults. What a refreshing change from the nannys. Both Repubs and Dems.

  71. SueQ
Sorry about that must have mixed up with someone else…

  72. C O Coot
As far as I know, depending on the warrant, it would be enforcable anywhere in the U.S.

  73. Something to consider when advocating Ron Paul as the choice of the military…The military, for the most part, are housed, fed and clothed by the federal government which is in effect a very isolated, socialized environment. In fact, some of the most hard core socialists I have ever met have either been military or veterans…..and I DO know what I’m talking about when it comes to veterans and the military. This is not to say there are others who do not see things the other way, as with any political choices, and it doesn’t mean I don’t like what Ron Paul has to say. I just don’t buy ALL of what Ron Paul has to say. I haven’t put my support behind any candidate as of yet….just sayin’
I like the fact that he has had at least some military experience and understands how it works, but he by no means has had THE military experience that I have been able to ascertain which makes him no different from millions of others that have been in the military at some time in their lives.

  74. BTW,
If I read correctly, Media Matters took credit for the firing of Imus, Dobbs and Beck. Could the Judge be a victim also? Who’s next? They are closely coordinated with the White House/Valery Jarret. Is the press still free? Is speech still free? Is the practice of religion still free?

  75. Please contact me via email. I want to help with ballot challenge in Missouri. I can help with signatures by passing out forms, or other means in public places. I also would like to file my own ballot challenge against Obama or join yours. Please email me the necessary paperwork.

  76. If we could get mainstream media attention on this it could go viral. We need everyday people standing outside Walmarts across the nation passing out flyers or getting signatures on petitions. At Malls, fairs, townhall meetings, ect.
The more people who know the better, this is not common knowledge and it should be. Design a flyer and post a link. I will definitely pass them out. Or send me the info and I will design my own flyers on the subject. Knowledge is power and people should know.
