LTC Terry Lakin court martial, New defense strategy

“There’s a new lawyer and a new, still-unreleased strategy being developed for a career doctor in the Army who is challenging the president to prove his eligibility to be commander in chief, and therefore document the validity of the orders under his command.
The move is being made by Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, whose most recent hearing in the military judiciary found the judge essentially concluding that he would be allowed to argue only two points at a court-martial: whether he was issued orders and whether he followed them.
According to the American Patriot Foundation, which has been running the Safeguard our Constitution website and working in support of Lakin, that work will continue with minor modifications.

Specifically, officials confirmed links to a defense fund set up for Lakin will continue to provide the public an opportunity to have a hand in an issue that the officer considers so serious it’s worth endangering his career.
Neither Lakin nor his new attorney, who according to online reports is Neal Puckett, could be reached immediately for details.
But the firm’s website said Puckett served as a ground combat officer for the U.S. Marine Corps and for some time, the firm’s sole focus was military law.

The American Patriot Foundation, in its announcement, said Lakin is repositioning his forces and will be focusing for the next several weeks on the court-martial, scheduled now for Nov. 3-5.
“LTC Lakin is consistent in continuing on the same path that he announced publicly six months ago when he released his first YouTube video – and consistent with his military training, to continue to request assurance from Pentagon leadership that his military orders, including his deployment orders to Afghanistan, are legal – authorized at the highest level by a commander-in-chief who is constitutionally eligible, per Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution,” the foundation confirmed.
“As a medical officer and not a lawyer or constitutional scholar, LTC Lakin is not laying claim to be the sole arbiter of the president’s constitutionality in attempting to determine, without any genuine evidence to make such a determination, the president’s ‘natural born’ citizen status,” the organization said.
“The burden of proof rests solely on Barack Obama to demonstrate to the American people and to the U.S. armed forces that he commands, that he is lawfully serving in his current capacity as head of the executive branch of the federal government,” the foundation said.
The foundation said Army prosecutors, along with the acting judge in the case, Denise Lind, have “made this determination of the commander in chief’s eligibility under the Constitution impossible – by denying discovery – and essentially denying LTC Lakin the customary due process rights that defendants in American courts enjoy when facing criminal charges.””

LTC Terry Lakin still has my best wishes. I believe that he cannot get a fair hearing with the Marine Corp., which was my fear several months ago. I believe that this will become a stain for many years, and could lead directly to the disbanding of the Marine Corp. later. IMHO, some things are bigger than an individual POTUS or corrupt politicians, but they won’t agree.

The many obots at this blog are easily identified by their disruptive remarks , specious arguments and personal attacks. It is like watching a cable shout fest with opponents speaking past each other. My rule of thumb is to completely disregard any post that makes personal attacks and strays from the core issues.
But many at this blog are honest patriots defending their country by sharing information and ideas, just as Sam Adams did. I continue to return to the site, skim through the obot putrescence and seek the few gems that are on display here. I hope many like minded patriots will do the same.
Obots, your days are numbered. We all look forward to the day you are forced to crawl back into your dark, damp caves and hope for a new savior. After this experience, Americans alive today, will never let you return to power. We shall resist and fight the tenets of socialism and marxism until the last of us are dead.

Mr. Carlyle, if you want to find a better blog by all means do so. If you’re sore and tired of being jostled then maybe it’s time for you to move on. The lefties would love to see this site fold up and disappear and I ain’t going any where. I can’t help but suspect your intentions when you make a comment like that.
I’ve listened to rants and criticisms from you and Free Speech and lots of others, some justified and some not. But Mr. Wells is doing his best to bring forth the truth to those who seek it here and maybe if some of the chit disturbers would depart this place will return to the bastion of information I first entered two years ago. You have no idea how many hours a day he devotes to this site and yet you show him very little appreciation. He shouldn’t have to be a lion tamer and crack is whip to keep us from attacking one another. Some of us need to grow up and be adults, not playground bullies.
And I’ve been wanting to tell Michelle that she is undoubtedly the Medal of Honor winner here. She has always been loyal to the cause and continues to bring valuable information here. I look forward to her comments and she never blathers on and on with self importance like some do. She is always brief and to the point. I have great respect and admiration for her.

Obama and the Newspaper Boy

Once upon a time, there was a man named Obama, who owned a Baloney sandwich restaurant, The House of Baloney. He served the very best Baloney sandwiches, made from the very finest Baloney, imported all the way from Hawaii, or Connecticut, and maybe even Kenya. People came from far and wide to get his Baloney. They would say, “Ohhh, but this is such Good Baloney.” They were so fanatic, people even started calling them “O-buts.”
Then one day, a little newspaper boy bought some baloney sandwiches, and when he got home, he discovered his change was $2.00 short! So he went back to Obama and he said, “I want my $2.00, please.”Obama said, “Get lost kid, you bother me!”
Undeterred, the newspaper boy sat outside the House of Baloney with a sign that said, “ I want my $2.00.” He sat there in the rain and the sleet and the snow, for months. At first, everyone had thought the newspaper boy was just crazy. Obama swore he had given him the proper change. He had other people swear, too. He even put a PICTURE of the cash register tape and deposit slip on the Internet. His friends swore it was correct.
But, as time went on, people began to get suspicious of Obama. Why was he letting this poor little newspaper boy, who might indeed be crazy, just sit out there with his poor little sign, in the rain, exposed to the elements, and sad. And what if, just what if, Obama had kept the $2.00 and not deposited it in the bank. People started not coming to the House of Baloney.
The O-buts defended Obama. “It’s his restaurant”, they said. “He doesn’t have to legally give the kid the $2.00 if he doesn’t want to.” That was true enough, but by this time, Obama had already lost 25% of his sales. Some people said, “Just give the kid his $2.00 and quit being a jerk!” “No!” said the O-buts. “This kid is so crazy, that even if you give him the $2.00, he won’t go away!”
So it went on for over two years. People now began to wonder, “Was there really something wrong with Obama?” Because he had lost a lot more in business than the $2.00. They reasoned that even if he didn’t owe it, something was up because there was no really good reason for a sane businessman not to just cough up the two bucks, and move on.
But still the newspaper boy sits there, with his ragged, little homemade sign, the “I want my $2.00″ smeared by rain and the cardboard fraying at the edges. Inside, Obama sits, twidding his thumbs, and hoping business will pick up.
