Blagojevich trial smoking guns?, Diversions
I am not certain that I have seen the smoking gun(s) from the Rod Blagojevich trial that will implicate Obama and associates. However I am seeing lots of smoke. Where there is smoke there is fire or smoking guns. I continue to follow another story that involves Obama and will report further when I am allowed. In the meantime, let’s stay focused on our primary objective, saving this country, in spite of numerous diversions we are being hit with.

It is well known that “word of mouth”is potentially as damaging as direct combat. The dissemination of accurate timely information can win wars,and even help bring down dictators. Chavez stated publically that it wasn’t until he moved to control the public broadcasting in Venezuela that he was finally able to completely control Venezuela. He openly boasted of this.
I read the article that James posted. It doesn’t necessarily have to happen! I agree though if the still complacent people in this country don’t take notice because they are too busy “having fun”then it is likely that all of us will be delivered into a Chavez sort of government. I have come to believe that a large percentage of Americans no longer even give a damn what happens to them. They think that somebody else will extricate them from it all. Well they are WRONG. Sadly they won’t see the error of their ways until AFTER it is too late to do anything. Then they will scream,whine,curse,and threaten everybody else,at which point the Government Goon Squad will move in and exterminate ALL of them as an object lesson. If you want that sort of government then by all means continue to sit happily on your duff, and do nothing. The article that James posted is visually accurate. There is however underlying and otherwise hidden aspects that are by far even more frightening than the the initial view. This involves mass incarceration,and subsequent mass extermination of millions of people. Where have I heard of this before? Wasn’t it practiced by a known lunatic,who professed to be a SUPERMAN, who was going to create a 1000 year reich composed of blond haired,blue eyed, Aryan SUPERMEN. Oh, now I remember his name. Do you get the same impression that I do when it comes to Blogo’s defence lawyers having to beg for evidence from the FBI just to put on a half decent defence?
I am no Lawyer, but I always thought the defence team was allowed all records that the prosecutor had.
I bewilders me that the defence, as they did yesterday, have to file a motion with the court just to get more FBI summaries? Is it to protect Obama?
Finally, who was the whistle blower on this thing? Not like its uncommon politics in Chicago. And I was wonder, was Obama the original target or at least part of the ring of targets for the investigation?
It makes no sense to me to refuse evidence, limit what tapes you can hear depending on who it is you wish to listen too (Obama), seal evidence that cannot be heard, and fight the defense team to prevent them from having evidence….
I’m no Blogo fan, but at least he should have a fair trial if facing the rest of your life in prison. Just my opinion though.
Inmates, IRS Employees Among Those Found to Abuse Homebuyer Tax Credit
As incentives go, the first-time homebuyer tax credit was a strong one: if you bought your first house before April 30 of this year, the federal government would give you up to $8,000 for the trouble.
So good, in fact, that the government ended up paying more than $25 million in fraudulent claims, according to an audit released this morning by the Treasury Inspector General. Some 1,300 prison inmates – including 250 serving life sentences – received $9 million for homes that they could not have purchased while they were behind bars, the report found. Another 10,000 people received credit for homes that were also claimed as a first-time purchase by another taxpayer. In one case, 67 people used the same house as their qualifying purchase.
“This is very troubling,” said J. Russell George, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, in a statement. “Congress created and modified the Homebuyer Credit to stimulate the economy and help taxpayers achieve the American Dream, not to line the pockets of wrongdoers.”
Homebuyer fraud was rife within the IRS as well, the report found. At least 34 IRS employees claimed the first time homebuyer credit, despite evidence that they already owned real estate.
