“Justice Stevens asks prosecutors to respond to Blagojevich request to delay corruption trial”
“U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens gave federal prosecutors one week to respond to ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s request to delay his corruption trial.
Stevens on Friday told the government to respond by May 28. The trial of Blagojevich and his brother, Robert Blagojevich, is scheduled to begin June 3.”
“Requests to delay the trial already were denied by the trial judge and the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.”

When Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum announced a probe into one of the state’s largest foreclosure law firms for allegedly fabricating legal papers used to speed up foreclosures, Hobe Sound attorney Trent Steele dubbed it “a good beginning.”
That’s because for a couple of years, he and other foreclosure attorneys have been questioning suspicious looking documents lenders have presented to judges statewide to expedite the thousands of foreclosure cases grinding their way through the courts.
“It’s far more than forging signatures,” Steele said about what he and other lawyers have witnessed first-hand. “I have never seen this kind of institutionalized fraudulent behavior going on….
Again the only peaceful way left to regain control of our government is by the Citizen Gran Jury process, the 4th Branch of our Government.

If Justice Stevens grants the stay and then SCOTUS rules the “honest services” law unconstitutional, then Blago will move for a dismissal of the charges made pursuant to said law.

This order by Justice Stevens indicates that he will stay the Blago Trial. If not, he would have just denied the stay without asking for response. It is very unusual for a judge to ask for a response, i.e., if a party does not respond judges usually rule that as no contest to the motion and the motion is granted pro forma.

The city has implemented a new policy that will screen every person who is arrested to see if the person is in the country legally.

I have been doing research on the “ambush”.. I have been studying that picture of the van. It looks like the van was ambushed also or else the police officers needed more target practice. It is noteworthy that it has been over a year and a half since I first began to write about the Citizens Grand Jury Process and Original Jurisdiction in the Supreme Court of cases against Barrack Hussein Obama and, to date, BHO’s lawyers have never been able to refute my Constitutional Theories.
The precedent for getting standing and bringing a case directly to the United States Supreme Court upon Original Jurisdiction is the landmark case of Marbury v. Madison
Article III, Section 2 of the United States Constitution states, “In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction.”
Marbury was a case involving a minor public minister. The case against Barrack Hussein Obama involves all “Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls” of the United States and of all foreign nations with diplomatic status with the United States. Furthermore, the case against Barrack Hussein Obama involves all States of the United States as parties.
Following much good faith research regarding the issue of original jurisdiction in the Supreme Court of the United States, We the People have found no cases in the history of jurisprudence of the United States of America wherein a Defendant disputed the Constitutional fact that the Supreme Court of the United States has original jurisdiction over “all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls” as plainly stated in the Constitution of the United States, Article III, Section 2.
That being the case, “We the People” respectfully request that the Barack Hussein Obama stipulate to the fact that the Supreme Court of the United States has original jurisdiction over all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls; or, in the alternative, that Barack Hussein Obama show good cause why the Supreme Court of the United States shall not have original jurisdiction
These 12 Simple Steps are the way Patriots can use our Bill of Rights to keep control of the Government and to Clean up Corruption in government:

Please let me try to help. I have defended Leo before and I will do it again. But I have also expressed concern about how practical Leo’s current plan may not be. I just don’t see CGJ’s getting anybody’s proper attention. It has nothing to do with law – just the practical reality of where the MSM and others have led us to. To which point I probably am agreeing with Cabby.
So – let’s try this:
1. Cabby, please don’t poke Leo. He seems to relish a good fight and likes to debate. So unless you are specifically looking for a fight, just leave the grumpy bear alone. (Please note, this is not necessarily a pejorative – sometimes us bears have damn good reasons to be grumpy).
2. Leo, please do not pick Cabby. Cabby is one of the more thoughtful and reasonable ones here – not at all like some of the others who were taking bites out of your ankles a few days ago. I just watched a TV News show in Ohio with an interview of the best friend of the father who shot and killed those policemen in Arkansas.. The interviewed man lives in Trotood, a suburb of Dayton, Ohio. He said the father formerly lived in Springfield Ohio. He said that he was NOT surprised about what happened. Leo – I don’t think anyone here disagrees with you – I certainly don’t. But I think we are all frustrated. Clearly Obama team has no defense for anything – nor any ability to argue the merits of any of this. So instead they keeping pushing on jurisdiction, standing, etc.
There are a number of things – including your 4th branch observations – that SHOULD work. But so far Obama has been winning based on various versions of Running and Hiding.
We all don’t know how to FORCE the legal system to hear us. And without some way to force the issue, we fear that we will never be heard.
We most eagerly want a process that WILL work, not one we HOPE to work.
Personally, I kind of think in sequence – and first things first. I don’t want to accuse Obama of anything – I think it may be premature – and is certainly offputting to his defenders.
I just want to force discovery. I think that is a very reasonable request/demand. Further, if his followers REALLY believe he was pure and holy, how could they object?

Do you spend your time reading citizenwells.wordpress.com making sure posts are factually and legally correct? I would figure that any lawyer worth his salt would be representing clients, charging them 250-500$ per hour in 10 minute increments whilst seeking justice for them. Instead you post every 5 minutes here, for free I assume. Probably not the best use of a law degree, wouldn’t you agree?
Time is money, Leo. So either go prove the president is a fraud before a judge, or go earn yourself some cash, because I fail to see how make 200 posts per day to the same 15 or so people is going to do anything at all for you or anyone else.

I agree Leo, there must be many lawyers who are sickened by this spectacle. I imagine many worked very hard to put themselves through law school and continue to work very hard in our justice system.
A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, right now the weak link in the chain is at the top. I can’t wait until the honorable lawyers turn this around.
Lawyers don’t argue on forums, they argue in front of judges and juries, and they get paid for it.
My lawyer works from Monday to Monday, I can’t imagine him wasting even one minute of his time posting on an obscure forum about citizen grand juries, which kinda makes me wonder…

It is Interesting to see multiple battle groups going to the Arabian (Persian) Gulf. I’m wondering if Obama Ordered it, or it the Pentagon is acting on their own like the Somali Pirates Incident with the kidnapped Captain.
With the Somali Pirates incident, Obama ordered a 4 day stand down, but the On Site Commander got tired of waiting for Obama and took matters into his own hands and successfully settled it. Obama then took all the credit for it even though he had nothing to do with the results. Actually it would have been taken care of a lot quicker if he had just let the U.S. Navy do its Job. Just like him not doing anything about the Gulf Oil Spill until it was too late.

That is an option OldSalt, but I think it would result in our military members getting prosecuted before they would even get near the Puppet in Chief. The world Loves our current PIC, but as unfortunate as it is there are more nations out there that absolutely hate our Military. They in turn want to obliterate it, the men, and women in our military services instead.
This is why I believe that: With all the international bankers backing our Puppet in Chief, there is no way in Hades the World Courts would peruse him. Therefore they would be more than happy to engage in dirty work for him instead.
They would go straight for our military members with the sole purpose of pounding the final death-nails into it. The World Court would flat out accuse those military members of not following the Geneva Convention dictates regarding the Command Responsibility clause of those conventions. You say you are an attorney and from what I observe you have a lot of time on your hands. In CA most attorneys charge around $200 per hour and up! If I may use a previous post and estimate each post takes an average of 5 minutes (in your case, I estimate 8 to 10 minutes) you are logging over 8 hours per day on this site. That’s a whopping $1600 per day, not bad for chump change. Is business slow? Things bad? Business should be booming for you in your area. I ask, “do you have any active clients or are you retired?”
Some attorney’s who post on CW have their own Web sites, which I feel would be a great way for you to express your opinions and ideas!!

Buraq.. I guess my being a nurse has made me more tolerant than most. I didnt use to post either. I was trying to work and take care of my fiance at the same time. He passed away of lung cancer just 2 months ago. I took care of my deceased spouse for 17 years after he suffered a brain injury. I had to learn to be very tolerant for many reasons.
As a nurse, I have been physically attacked by druggies who became almost insane by their addictions. I have seen it all
I have had to learn to be a strong person.
Ah, amy, I can understand that. I am really sorry to hear of your loss. I take care of my mom who has a severe mobility handicap, the right side of her body being numb to a certain point for an unkown reason.
What I have learned is that it is difficult to care for someone who has needs that a non-handicap person cannot even imagine. Another thing that I have learned is that I am thankful to God for giving me a body that works so that I can use it to assist my mom.

I once had this young hooker patient who was beaten so badly and left for dead. Her brain was permanently damaged.

There is a fundamental reason the Citizen Grand Jury effort is impotant. The start witha a false premise!
There are Public Relations strategies and there are legal strategies. Sometimes the overlap and sometimes they don’t.
Nobody wants a trial in DC. The chances of getting a conviction against AKA Obama in DC would be like the chances of getting a conviction against OJ in East LA.
The reason most of these presentments are being made at the local level is that the Feds have circumvented the constitution with rule 6 and it would take a SCOTUS fight to accomplish our goal
Think for a minute. If you were a judge would you take seriously an indictment presented by a Grand Jury that was convened by openly recruiting people for the Grand Jury who wanted to indict the suspect?
AGJ has a very valuable public relations and educational mission. However, AGJ efforts can not result in an actual trial. However, AGJ actions can pave the way for a trial. That is why; from the very beginning I have seen AGJ efforts as a thin entering wedge to convene conventional Grand Juries.
My conclusion is still optimistic: Obama will be indicted and charged very soon. Keep in mind that the role of a grand jury is to determine if enough evidence exists to refer a case to the courts for trial. Can any objective person review information like that being presented to AGJ members and reject the premise that this case needs to be referred to the courts for prosecution?
It is very likely that the American Grand Jury effort will result in an indictment by a conventionally impaneled Grand Jury.
Even if the American Grand Jury was deemed legally impotent, we can still expect a powerfully awakening increase in awareness and outrage on the part of the citizens. There is much potency beyond the legal system.
However, it is highly unlikely that not even one jurisdiction will take action on the indictment. All we need is one jurisdiction to order “Discovery.” The case against AKA OBAMA is unique because it will be over in the Discovery phase, as the first step in a criminal complaint. The goal of the project I support is not to convict and punish AKA Obama but to discover what AKA OBAMA doesn’t want us to know, and why he doesn’t want us to know it. Our goal will be achieved without a trial or a verdict.
Our goal is to present indictments in every jurisdiction of the union for a total of 3,191 opportunities to bring criminal charges against offending politicians.
Even if an independently convened grand jury is mistakenly seen as merely people assembling to exercise their Constitutional right to “redress their grievances,” or report crimes that is no small thing. Hundreds of people in such “assemblies” will be examining evidence and presenting the results of their investigation to appropriate county, state, and federal authorities, some of whom will almost certainly form more conventional grand juries to indict AKA OBAMA. Can one honestly surmise that there is not one prosecutor or judge in the entire nation who questions AKA OBAMA’s eligibility to be President?
Once the American Grand Jury presentments are made, it is likely that many prosecutors and judges will want a copy of the evidence.
I am presently working in my own jurisdiction to have a prosecutor convene a conventional Grand Jury to investigate election fraud in my own county. Gary Kreep is working on a project to convene Grand Juries or Judges to bring charges against DNC leaders and AKA Obama for election fraud in all 50 states.

If I was doing it I would call it “We The People Citizen Grand Jury”. I would do recruiting from the general public via blogs, web sites and email, citing the need for citizens to investigate their government in keeping with the intent of the constitution. That would be a “random” enough method to be unbiased. You can easily fill in the blanks about what the recruitment notice would say.
I would make it clear that political affiliation would not be considered as a criterion to qualify to serve, just citizenship, a desire for constitutional government, good character and administration of the oath. This would not be done to mask the intention to indict Obama but as a genuine need to establish Citizen Grand Juries in every jurisdiction in the nation. The government is conspiring against the people and Citizen Grand Juries are the constitutional remedy for the problem of government corruption. There are many more people who need to be indicted than Obama. Long after the Obama administration has faded from the scene these Citizen Grand Juries must remain in place to protect the people from the government in the future.
Only after a Citizen Grand Jury is sworn in and secrecy is imposed will the person or persons being investigated be revealed.
