Census Boondoggle, Michelle Malkin report, US Census Bureau, National Democrat Future Voter Outreach Drive, Super Bowl ad, Ed Begley Jr, 2.5 million dollar ad, Obama When times are tough you tighten your belts

Hats off again to Michelle Malkin who tells it like it is.
From Michelle Malkin, February 5, 2010.

“The Super-Sized Census Boondoggle”

“If only the federal government were as responsible with our money as Pepsi is with theirs. The soda giant has been in the Super Bowl ad business for more than two decades. But this year, Pepsi determined it was economically unwise to pay $3 million for a 30-second spot. So, who’s foolish enough to pay for Super Bowl gold-plated airtime? You and me and Washington, D.C.
The U.S. Census Bureau will squander $2.5 million on a half-minute Super Bowl ad starring D-list celebrity Ed Begley, Jr., plus two pre-game blurbs and 12-second “vignettes” featuring Super Bowl anchor James Brown. It’s a drop in the Census boondoggle bucket (otherwise known as the tax-subsidized National Democrat Future Voter Outreach Drive). The Obama White House has allocated a total of $340 million on an “unprecedented” promotional blitz for the 2010 Census. That’s on top of $1 billion in stimulus money siphoned off for increased Census “public outreach” and staffing. In all, the Census will triple its total budget from 2000 to $15 billion.
Ads pimping the Census have already appeared during the Golden Globe awards and will broadcast during the Daytona 500 and NCAA Final Four championships. Some $80 million will be poured into multi-lingual ads in 28 languages from Arabic to Yiddish. Racial and ethnic groups have been squabbling over their share of the pie.
The U.S. census is a decennial census mandated by our constitution. Should Americans know about it? Sure. Should the p.r. budget become a bottomless slush fund in recessionary times? Surely not.”

Thank you Michelle Malkin for all that you do.

Wells

“As if overpriced TV ads, online videos no one watches, and indulgent, cross-country caravans weren’t enough, the Census Bureau is also enlisting 56 million schoolchildren to pester their parents and act as junior government enumerators. Educrats are spending several billions more on math and social studies lessons peddling the Census. Overzealous Census partners such as the National Association of Latino Elected Officials have distributed recruitment propaganda urging constituents to participate because “Joseph and Mary participated in the Census.” Goodness knows what kind of fear-mongering curricula the kids are being served in the name of counting heads – and shaping the electoral landscape.

“When times are tough, you tighten your belts,” President Obama lectured us. “You don’t blow a bunch of cash on Vegas.” Coincidentally, the Census Road Tour junketeers just wrapped up a visit in Vegas. Next stop? You guessed it: The Super Bowl in Miami. Taxpayers should start crying foul.”

    While I was raking it came to me why we have a problem with Obama.
    On one side we have the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution written down documents signed and sworn to. v/s
    Obama-no documentation the paltry sum provided are forgeries and/or not admissible in court.
    Our problem is:
    Douay-Rheims Bible
    “No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and love the other: or he will sustain the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
    We cannot serve our Constitution and recognize Obama as potus until we have legal documentation, not sealed records, or whatever he invents on any given day.

    CW, I saw that ad, and to be honest, it didn’t make much sense. I think it was trying to be funny, but missed the mark. Total waste of money, IMO.

  6. This census seems to be mighty important to them. Almost as important as the global deathcare bill.

    Can’t say, in my lifetime, I’ve ever seen this kind of spending done on the census. In the past, they’ve primarily used direct mail, which isn’t fairly costly, and public service announcements – which are FREE.

    Guess that’s what you get when you have an advisor to the man occupying the Oval Office that owns an advertising agency – Axelrod. I doubt, too, this figure includes the creative costs or productions costs, much the other incidental costs that agencies charge – like brain storming sessions at the local sushi bar.

    Seems like there my be an easy fix for “O” to reverse those numbers. “Just play the war card.” And, according to Palin in her interview with FOX, if he declares war on Iran his chances of being re-elected in 2012 are almost certain. Unbelievable to me. War is the answer to all of our problems. I didn’t think Conservatives were such warmongers.

    Hmmm….Doesn’t make sense to me either. Especially since he recently put out a hierarchy of the news rags and their connections with the powers that be for someone that was quoting from one of them – Huffington Post I believe.

    Based on what I’ve read inside his blog – I have a paid mbrship – he always rails against these folks. Have to say it’s strange.

    I do know he contributes regularly to Russia Today, and has appeared on FOX News. He’s on as a guest on Alex Jones show as well. So, no, it really doesn’t make sense.

    I may send him an email to ask that question.

  28. Totally OT, but the Shuttle missions are approaching the end of their cycle, so seeing them in the sky is going to be rare. The Shuttle is scheduled to dock w/ the ISS Wed. am. That means some places are going to have a rare opportunity to see the two of them streaking across the sky, in tandem. It’s a beautiful sight (think Venus moving faster than an airplane!)

    You can go to this link and enter your location to see if you are one of the lucky ones. Then hope for clear skies!

    Hi JustMe,

    Popping on for a second…I see y’all have the news about Murtha.

    To be honest, I don’t see any issues with the number of earthquakes. There are several happening each day on the planet, and I’ve not seen anything unusual. The typical hot spots are active, as they usually are; magnitudes aren’t out of the ordinary, except the quake in Haiti, which was a biggie.

    As you know, I get the e-mail reports from the U.S. Geological Survey whenever one hits and there’s no evolving pattern here, right now.

    I don’t follow Madsen, but will look him up later to see what he has to say..

  30. I don’t think many Marines or other servicemen or veterans will morn Murtha’s passing….what will happen to the 3 person airport now….maybe Obama will turn it into a drag strip and give it a trillion dollars to create more jobs!

  31. From an email I received. Take note, find your local event on their website, and may April 15th bring a showdown like we’ve never seen in America!!!

    The Real Tea Party Conventions – April 15th
    Dear Fellow Tea Party Patriots,

    Tea Party Patriots, an organization with a reach of millions of members and over 1,000 voluntarily affliated tea party and 912 local groups asks: WHY WOULD 600 PEOPLE AT A RALLY CREATE A MEDIA FRENZY?

    For the last year, Tea Party Patriots have come together in every state across the nation, held tea parties in larger cities to smaller towns and nearly 2 million tea party patriots showed up in DC in September to rally together for the cause of liberty. Where was the media then?

    Why did the media choose to show up at a tea party rally in Nashville that marketed itself as a “national convention” with only 600 participants who claimed to speak on behalf of the movement?

    Why would the media show up just because a national figure was asked to speak? National figures spoke all over the country in local tea party rallies all year and in DC on September 12th.

    We believe the answer to “Why?” is this:

    * There are heavy efforts underway to align us to a political party.
    * There is great concern that the Tea Party Movement will become a third party.
    * The media did not do their homework on this “national convention” and is now creating misinformation on the movement.

    The Tea Party Movement started because of these tactics and we will not be used like this. We are smarter than that and we will call out any one and any organization who tries to undermine the grassroots movement known as the Tea Party Movement.

    Our challenge regarding this misrepresentation:

    For the media:

    * While we appreciate the national spotlight, we challenge you to do your homework on press releases and marketing strategies of groups and individuals. Had you given the National March on Washington the same coverage you gave this “convention” it would have been more realistic of the voice of the people. During that march, it was evident what the people of the movement wanted our platform to be: LIBERTY.
    * We challenge the media to show up in their individual cities and towns on April 15th as we gather for our “regional conventions” and Stand Up for LIBERTY once again.

    For the politicians:

    * We believe the thrust of our effort has been and will continue to be providing proper forums for all Americans to voice their opinions about their existing government and the changes that are necessary to restore the country to a constitutional footing. We do not dictate to our members. They get enough of that from the parties and from our government. They want the freedom to find facts, participate individually and act accordingly. We the People are smart and will not buy any tactics by politicians to use or co-opt us or the movement.

    For the people:

    * Become well-informed citizens and know the tactics that will be used against us – especially in 2010. This is an important year politically and we will do our best to inform and educate you on issues. We will also alert you to tactics used by political parties and outside interests to hijack the movement. We ask you to do the same thing on a local basis so we can stop the madness and right our country to common sense decision-making.
    * If you have not joined a local Tea Party, find one and get involved. This is where you can meet up with like-minded individuals who love their country and want to protect it. To find a local tea party group, go to http://teapartypatriots.org/Search.aspx.

    Tea Party Patriots is a grassroots organization represented by ordinary citizens standing up for LIBERTY and dedicated to reclaiming America’s founding principles.

    You are the heart and soul of the Tea Party Movement. Thank you for promoting the causes of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets with us!

    Tea Party Patriots are just ordinary people reclaiming America’s founding principles.

    Obama’s Muslim Love Affair or Why Does He Deny the Last Three Attacks on America are Muslim Terrorist

    An innocent Army Recruiter, Private Andrew Long was shot and killed by an admitted Muslim Terrorist last summer in the south. Obama claimed it was the work of a lone extremist. Fort Hood was attacked by Nidal Maliq Hasan, also an admitted Muslim Terrorist. Obama called the attack the action of a lone extremist. The crotch bomber attempted to bring down a plain over Detroit on Christmas day. Not only did Obama fail to call the attack what it is, he made certain the suspect was treated as a citizen and held in civilian court and lawyered up. In my heart, I believe it is because the powers in Washington wanted to shut him up.

  33. If anyone has any questions about what Rick Perry means to the NWO and why Texans would take issue with Palin’s endorsement of him may want to spend a few minutes on this site.

    http://www.texasturf.org

    This site is a TRUE grassroots movement that has fought FOR WE THE PEOPLE, tooth and nail, for the last EIGHT YEARS against Perry and the deals for his NWO cronies.

    I bet the good, salt of the earth folks in Texas, especially those who have spent their last dime trying to save their farms from eminent domain for the Trans Texas Corridor while fighting the New World Order would say, especially after her endorsement of Perry, “We have a PAIN in PALIN!”

  34. Patriot Dreamer

    Wayne Madsen’s links to Huff. Po. and others indicate to me that he leans to the left. Everybody has a bias/view/agenda/whatever you want to call it. The key is knowing what it is ahead of time.

  35. Sue K,

    Thanks.

    I do realize these rumblings are going on continuously. However, recently on Madsen’s site he has listed a few places that haven’t had any activity in decades. That’s why I put it out there to you.

    I have been researching the technology that is used to detect oil reserves/reservoirs . It’s the same technology associated with the HAARP project in Alaska – only, the “wattage” for lack of a better word to bring it down to a simpler level, is much lower. Similar technology as Tesla’s.

    Don’t know if you saw the article I posted the other day about what the oil company was doing in the Port au Prince area of Haiti. Seemed like a bit of a confession. However, there’s always the other side that it was possibly a “damage control admission.”

    Either way, I wanted to hear your thoughts on the activity. I also read that there was an earthquake in China last week that was registered and for some odd reason they were denying it had happened and the information was somehow deleted. Didn’t know what to make of that other than they were conducting their own “experiments.”

    Why don’t they just leave nature the hell alone?

    Texas Governor Rick Perry

    Texas Governor Rick Perry
    William Cooper & Governor Rick Perry
    Rick Perry, Governor of the State of Texas and A&M University graduate, began his public service by serving in the United States Air Force, flying tactical airlift aircraft across the world. Perry served two terms as Texas Commissioner of Agriculture and Perry served in the Texas House of Representatives. Initially elected as Lieutenant Governor, Rick Perry is now the 47th Governor of Texas. Perry was sworn in as Texas State Governor on December 21, 2000.

    Perry recently shared about his life as governor of Texas in an interview with ChristiaNet.com’s president and CEO, Bill Cooper. Politically conservative, privately prayerful, and openly proud of his family, Perry has much to share about how being in the public arena as representation of twenty-three million people plays into his daily life. Perry spoke openly about his job, keeping his family a priority, and about how his beliefs on faith play into his role as the very public and out-front governor of Texas.

    When asked about finding time for his family, Governor Perry told ChristiaNet, “Well, I just do it. My son played high-school baseball, and I rarely missed a game. My daughter is a cheerleader, and I’ve never missed a home game. I have an important job, but it’s not more important than being a father. I go to pep-rallies and am the hokey-daddy down there with the video camera.” Perry went on to explain that having his kids grow up in Austin, while he served as Agriculture Commissioner, was a blessing. “So, my children grew up in a relatively normal neighborhood and their daddy worked for the government like everyone else here in town. That’s been a blessing because my children have not been treated very differently.”

    Obviously a strong family man, Perry is passionate about Marriage and the traditional definition of the union. ChristiaNet asked Perry about his position in using the Constitution to define marriage. “Well, we passed the Defense of Marriage Act in Texas. I signed the bill passed by the legislature, obviously campaigning for this, but it is clear that the people are for sending a message that marriage in Texas and the United States is between a man and a woman.”

    Perry explained why Texas was in the position of writing the Defense of Marriage Act to begin with. “The problem is that another state, by virtue of an activist judge or judges, can create a gay-marriage situation where we would be forced in Texas to recognize that. This is the reason I don’t have a problem with a national constitutional amendment. If activist judges did what they are suppose to do-to interpret the law, not make law-then we wouldn’t have these problems. But the fact of the matter is that I support the President’s efforts on the constitutional amendment because we in Texas have said what we believe in and what the law is, but some other state may try to force their interpretation onto us, and that’s where I dig my heels in pretty deep. I’m for a constitutional amendment if that’s what it’s going to take to control activist judges.”

    Pulling his faith into his very public life is an opportunity for Perry to demonstrate his Christianity in his daily life. Perry considers his faith both a public and private affair. He told ChristiaNet, “Faith is both a private thing and a very public thing for me–private in the sense that every morning I get up and read a little Scripture. You’ll appreciate that I get a daily Scripture lesson off the Internet. It’s called “God’s Promises,” and it gets to my e-mail everyday by six o’clock in the morning. It’s a way to take time to be quiet and listen to what God has to say.” In further explanation about how his faith is public, Perry said, “Faith in a public way is how my wife and I live our lives-how we express our Christian faith in our acts. So, everyday we publicly display and privately absorb our Christian beliefs.”

    Governor Rick Perry is also a man of prayer. He told ChristiaNet that it was not out of the ordinary for him to pray throughout the day – even in the midst of official meetings. “The Scripture talks about praying incessantly. It’s not out of the ordinary for me to have a word of prayer in the midst of a meeting. When the door closes in here and it’s quiet for two minutes, I say my prayers for my family or for something that’s going on in the world.”

    Prayer led by the Holy Spirit is Perry’s prayer focus. “The Holy Spirit works in interesting ways to remind you about what to pray for. God knows what your needs are. Prayer is a daily occurrence. I pray a lot in my life. I don’t carve-out an hour or thirty minutes to pray in my closet, but I have a very active prayer life.” And, Perry truly appreciates the prayers sent to the Lord on his behalf. ” I also know that there are tens of thousands of people praying for me and my family. It is a powerful thing to know that there are people of faith who are fervently praying for you, for your well being, for your strength, and for your wisdom.”

    In concluding the Interview with ChristiaNet, Perry asked that the Christian community continue to uphold him and his family in prayer. “It’s the most powerful thing that, frankly, anyone can do for me and my family. I tell people “don’t just quit on me”-keep my wife, keep my son, and keep my daughter in prayer. This is a family effort. Being governor is the best job in the world, but it would be an overwhelming job if you didn’t have a family and friends who keep you in their prayers.” Governor Rick Perry is truly a public servant dependent upon prayer.

    RIGHT ON— On Sunday the left went bonkers after they discovered that the TelePrompter-less former Governor Sarah Palin wrote notes on the palm of her left hand for her speech to the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville. The far left absolutely freaked over this non-issue rather than focus on her brilliant speech knocking the Obama Administration’s horrid record on economics and national defense.

    Hi JustMe,

    While I won’t rule out ‘seismic shenanigans,’ I really don’t think it’s gotten to the point of ‘creating’ natural disasters.

    Yes, the technology is there, but it’s in its infancy at this point. I also don’t get twitchy about China because not too much info comes out of that country, especially on a scientific level. Shhhh…..

    Haiti is an anomaly but I really don’t think that a 7.0 was purposely caused; their fault and plate system subsurface is the culprit, I feel. Now, this is not to say that there wasn’t any kind of human factor involved, but I just don’t see it as as a conspiracy as I look at the subsurface setup.

    There’s a nice little fault line called the Clinton-Newbury fault that runs through my area out to the Atlantic ocean. We get occasional small temblors, but that’s enough to put everyone in a panic; most don’t realize that this area is actually tagged a ‘moderate earthquake zone.’ Who knew?

    So, it can happen anywhere, and at any time, even in the spots you’d think would be safe. If you look at a subsurface map of the U.S., the fault systems look like your eyeballs the day after the Super Bowl (that would be today).

    I won’t hesitate to post anything I think is funky in the Geological realm, and I’ll be watching with these post-Super Bowl eyeballs….

  45. Nancy Drew,

    I’ll try to find that list he posted internally on his site. He was actually bashing the Huff Post. That’s why I find it odd. Maybe he isn’t a good housekeeper with his website.

    Back later.

  46. Jacqlyn Smith

    For all you Palin bashers and doubters here at CW’s blog……below is why our PAL PALIN endorsed Perry…..it is not because of the
    Trans Texas Corridor or the sighting of him at a NWO meeting…….it’s because he is active in supporting Pro-Life legislation and keeping the most vulnerable in our society from being “murdered in the womb”…..nothing else really matters if you are willing to allow mothers to kill their own offspring!!!

    Sarah Palin Issues Endorsement for Pro-Life Gov. Rick Perry in Texas Battle

    by Steven Ertelt
    LifeNews.com Editor
    February 3, 2009

    Add to My Yahoo! Email RSS Print

    Austin, TX (LifeNews.com) — No sooner did former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin start a new political action committee than she has waded into a Texas gubernatorial race. Palin, the Alaska governor, is backing fellow Gov. Rick Perry, who is pro-life, against a challenge from Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison.

    Last month, Paling started a new political action committee in what may be a move to build relationships leading up to a 2012 presidential run.

    In a surprising move, Hutchison, who backs abortion but mostly votes pro-life in the Senate, has decided to take on the incumbent governor.

    But Palin, in a mailing to Texas Republican women, called Perry the “true conservative” in the Republican race.

    “Rick Perry is true to conservative principles even when others think the party needs to go a different direction. I like that about him: he doesn’t care which way the wind blows, he acts on his beliefs. That’s why I am supporting Governor Rick Perry for re-election,” Palin wrote.

    Palin wrote that Perry “walks the walk of a true conservative” in part, she says, because he is pro-life.

    “Rick Perry believes in protecting the most vulnerable in society, and who is more vulnerable than an unborn child? Our value as human beings in the eyes of Our Creator is not diminished by any circumstance,” she wrote in the letter.

    The endorsement is important because pro-life advocates could make the difference in the primary race where Perry is seen as the champion and Hutchison is seen weak because she supports Roe v. Wade, the decision that allowed virtually unlimited abortions.

    Hutchison reaffirmed her pro-abortion position in March 2003 with a vote in favor of an amendment to the partial-birth abortion ban supporting the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that allowed virtually unlimited abortions.

    “It is the sense of the Senate that the decision of the Supreme Court in Roe v. Wade was appropriate and secures an important constitutional right; and such decision should not be overturned,” the amendment read.

    Hutchison has also upset pro-life advocates with her repeated votes in favor of embryonic stem cell research funding. That has held down her voting record scores from the National Right to Life Committee in recent years.

    While Hutchison has voted for a myriad of abortion limits — everything from banning taxpayer funding of abortions, to enforcing parental notification to prohibiting partial-birth abortions — the stem cell votes dropped her to an 85 percent in this Congress and 75 percent in the previous session.

    Hutchison’s views on bioethics played out in a feud with Perry as she called on him to put in place a plan to aggressively pursue state taxpayer funding for embryonic stem cell research.

    One state pro-life advocate told LifeNews.com at the time that Hutchison also opposed a ban on all forms of human cloning.

    “While we appreciate Senator Hutchison’s several pro-life votes in the U.S. Senate, she unfortunately remains in the pro-abortion and pro-cloning camp,” Joe Pojman of the Texas Alliance for Life, said.

    Perry, on the other hand, has won praise from pro-life advocates for signing measures to reduce abortions.

    He is credited with helping reduce abortions and support parents by signing a bill requiring parents’ consent before a minor teen can have an abortion.

    Perry also signed a bill that allows criminals to be prosecuted for killing or injuring unborn children during the course of an assault against a pregnant woman.

    “Governor Perry’s signature on these pro-life bills marks history for Texas women, their health, and their unborn children,” Elizabeth Graham, told LifeNews.com at the time.

    Graham said Texas Right to Life worked closely with Perry on the legislation and the bills had his strong support throughout the legislative process.

    “Governor Perry recognized the deficiency in Texas that the unborn children of pregnant women were not protected under Texas law,” Graham explained.

  48. Actually, Obama’s whole life seems to be nothing but a work of fiction. The man has never shown himself to be Constitutionally
    eligible to hold the office he now occupies.

    If you’d like to see something from a different point of view, watch the two short videos below which, even though they start

    slowly and have a bit of fun, contain a wealth of factual data – more than we’ve seen from Obama.

    In fact in the second video a famous senator is quoted speaking about someone that sounds for all the world like “Our Boy” and really strikes a chord.

    Only thing is the senator was the Roman named Cicero speaking in 42 BC – but the message is still very directed and pertinent for all of us:

    Hi Sue……how are you doing….I wanted to lend my support about the earthquake conspiracy theory….below is what it says here….there is a wealth of logical information here concerning quakes….very informative……it might be helpful if some read this before trying to make a common earthquake into a conspiracy theory…..

    http://earthquake.usgs.gov/learn/topics/increase_in_earthquakes.php
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Are Earthquakes Really on the Increase?
    We continue to be asked by many people throughout the world if earthquakes are on the increase. Although it may seem that we are having more earthquakes, earthquakes of magnitude 7.0 or greater have remained fairly constant.
    A partial explanation may lie in the fact that in the last twenty years, we have definitely had an increase in the number of earthquakes we have been able to locate each year. This is because of the tremendous increase in the number of seismograph stations in the world and the many improvements in global communications. In 1931, there were about 350 stations operating in the world; today, there are more than 8,000 stations and the data now comes in rapidly from these stations by electronic mail, internet and satellite. This increase in the number of stations and the more timely receipt of data has allowed us and other seismological centers to locate earthquakes more rapidly and to locate many small earthquakes which were undetected in earlier years. The NEIC now locates about 20,000 earthquakes each year or approximately 50 per day. Also, because of the improvements in communications and the increased interest in the environment and natural disasters, the public now learns about more earthquakes.
    According to long-term records (since about 1900), we expect about 17 major earthquakes (7.0 – 7.9) and one great earthquake (8.0 or above) in any given year.
    Ron Paul (the only elected official pushing for the abolition of the Federal Reserve Bank for the last 30 years).
    When Palin starts championing END THE FED, I’ll get behind her 100%.
    I doubt Palin ever read The Creature From Jekyl Island (If she has, she sure hasn’t mentioned it).
    I doubt she ever watched America Freedom to Fascism (If she has, she sure hasn’t mentioned it).
    I believe Palin’s heart is in the right place, but as to date, I’m having a hard time seeing anything other than politics as normal in DC if she’s elected.
    She talks about the exact same thing other politicians talk about, every time she speaks.
    National Defense
    Fiscal Responsibility
    Drill baby Drill
    Womens Rights
    But I’ve never heard her say anything about ENDING THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK.
    This is the REAL PROBLEM plaguing our nation
My belief is that Palin will be the willow.
  56. JustMe and SueK,
    Regarding earthquakes: human beings can be complex animals at times and infinitely creative. We didn’t get to where we are because we take we put one foot in front of the other like our many legged animals.
    Don’t dismiss the possibility of utilizing the fault line to man’s advantage. Case in point: human pollution on a global level is staggering. But somehow it has morphed into unacceptable levels of carbon dioxide. Yes, the stuff that plants love and humans benefit from O2 creation.
  65. As I continued raking I had an even worse thought re: Obama
    Due to major due diligence on his part he has won the contest for worst potus ever bar none (usurper division-he stands alone there too).
    He is total garbage as potus, but here’s a horrible thought can you imagine him as your neighbor? Gross, double gross.
    You and your husband live in your house 20 years-have 3 well behaved children (most of the time). Obama and Michelle move in. You try to be good neighbors-you have tulips on your border-Obama doesn’t like them, you replant at your expense marigolds, he still isn’t happy, next lilacs-and you were just trying to be a good neighbor.
    After many years of trying to get a son, you find out that you are pregnant-you and your husband are ecstatic, Obama ever the happy camper goes-get rid of it, it is disturbing the carbon footprint on my planet.
    That is his essential problem, Mr. Giant Buttinski-none of these issues are his business, but yet he has to put his unwanted nose in them, any solution he comes up with is stupid and you have to pay.
    Had Obama the woos come from any area other than the SouthSide of Chicago and pulled this kind of garbage the real Chicago guys would have gotten so ticked they would have punched his lights out, if the fool is as stupid as Obama they have known to fly over 5 cars. Really, we have seen them do it. Known as “Get out of my face”. I’m a girl, all I know is it’s a guy thing. If they lose it, we shut up and hope for the best.
    re: Obama starting a war. Obama attacks-the enemy has his hidden documentation (I believe every world leader does-there not stupid). Paper work is revealed what does he do un-attack? It’s an illegal war besides everything else? Worse we are attacked same problem.
  66. Patriot Dreamer
    I need a humor break:
  67. I don’t see any conspiracy with earthquakes. It’s probable that there is just as many as there has always been, but we can now hear about them faster and better than in past history. And I’m pretty sure that those people in the 1800s where those huge earthquakes were around MO and various other places, they probably thought it was the end. Well, it probably was for some people.
    And new faults are found all the time. I just read not long ago that there’s been a new fault around Arkansas. This is not the New Madrid fault. It’s a new one that scientists are concerned about. It could produce some whoppers.
    Now everyone wants to make this out with the earthquakes in various places like it talks about in Matt. 24, etc., that it’s it. However, that’s not the case. When you put the Scriptures together on this subject like you’re supposed to do, you can see it’s talking about more than just a bad earthquake here and there.
    What may appear to happen is this, either as asteroid may get too close to the earth, causing a wobble as has happened in the past history, or one may hit.
    What kind of earthquakes could this cause? Wow, imagine earthquakes at various places on the earth the size of the Dec. 2004 quake in Indonesia. Imagine that on both sides of the earth. Then just one earthquake after another. Now that would be a very major disaster.
    BTW, the wobble happening is in the Scriptures, and it’s just amazing that scientists have recently figured this out.
  71. US to Launch Fallujah-style Attack in Afghanistan
    Global Research, February 8, 2010
    As US and British troops prepare to attack the town of Marjah in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province, military commanders and the media are openly comparing the operation to the November 2004 siege of Fallujah, one of the bloodiest war crimes of the Iraq war.
    The town of Marjah is to be turned into a killing field.
    Today there are more US troops deployed abroad in colonial-style wars and occupations than under Bush, and the killing has spread from Iraq and Afghanistan to Pakistan and Yemen.
    The Obama administration is seeking $322 billion for the two ongoing wars and occupations, a figure that will doubtless be swelled by further demands for “supplemental” funding.
    That’s some real hope and change for you.
    CBS) In just over a year in office, President Obama has given more than 160 interviews and taken questions at 26 town meetings.
    http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/02/08/eveningnews/main6187563.shtml?tag=broadcast
    In Katie Couric’s interview with him yesterday, she asked him about the criticism he gets from some political analysts — that in spite of all that exposure, people are not sure where he stands or who he is.
    President Obama: This is the Washington analysis that came up over the last couple months since my poll numbers went down. Nobody was saying that when my poll numbers were so high, right? And I just kind of take these things with a grain of salt.
    Katie Couric: So you don’t pay attention to that?
    President Obama: I really don’t. My job is to do the best possible job for the American people. I wrote two books. I’ve done as you said a gazillion interviews. And I spent two years running for president. And I think people have a good sense of what I care about. I got into this because my family had its struggles. And yet, somehow I was able to get the best education in the world and was able to ascend to the highest office in the land. And I just want to make sure every kid in America has that, not just now, but in the future. And so, I think people understand what motivates me. I think the pundits, what they’re trying to figure out is why the poll numbers drop. I told you the story when we were laughing. Michelle pointed out, you know, if you’re the average mom working out there. Your husband’s just lost his job. You’re seeing his hours cut back. Your home value’s lost $100,000 in value. You’re trying to figure out how to save for your kid’s education. Your 401K has lost half its value.
    And suddenly someone calls you on the phone and says: “So how is the president doing?” I think their answer is going to be pretty self apparent. They’re not going to be happy. And they shouldn’t be. So if we work hard and stay focused on what matters to people in their day to day lives and make some occasionally tough decisions and the economy improves, and people’s lives improve then I think we’ll do just fine and everyone will be saying, ‘what a connection President Obama was saying with the American people,’ which is what they were saying a year ago.
    My response to Obama you are a usurper and an idiot, no matter how many words you put on this pig, the lipstick sticks.
    New AD – “Citizen vs. Natural Born Citizen” – It’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” with Obama’s Exact Citizenship Status – Washington Times National Weekly – Monday 08 Feb 2010 Issue – pg 15:
    http://www.scribd.com/doc/26563415/Citizen-v-natural-born-Citizen-It-s-Don-t-Ask-Don-t-Tell-20100208-Issue-Wash-Times-Natl-Wkly-pg-15
    Many people do not know there is a difference between a “Citizen” and a “natural born Citizen.” Being a “Citizen” of any type, whether an Article II natural born Citizen, 14th Amendment born Citizen, 14th Amendment naturalized Citizen, or statutory born Citizen under a Congressional Act, means you are a member of the society and entitled to all its rights and privileges. But under our Constitution to serve in the singular most powerful office in our government, that is to be the President and Commander-in-Chief of our military under our Article II, Section 1, Clause 5, of our Constitution you need to be a “natural born Citizen.” Being a “natural born Citizen” cannot be conveyed by any laws of man and can only be conveyed by the facts of nature at the time of your birth and circumstances of your birth, i.e., being born in the country to two citizens of the country. (Legal Treatise “The Law of Nations – Principles of Natural Law” Section 212 by E. Vattel 1758, SCOTUS Decision Venus 1814, SCOTUS Decision Minor v Happersett 1874). This new advertorial is designed to help educate the public pictorially about the fact that Obama is NOT a Natural Born Citizen of the USA and thus is ineligible under our Constitution to the office he sits in. Obama is a Usurper who was allowed to be put there by millions in foreign money, a corruptly lead Congress, and an enabling main stream media. This is a constitutional crisis and a national security concern that must be addressed by the U.S. Supreme Court or our Republic, Constitution, and Liberties are in great danger.
    Obama is hiding the truth from the People with an enabling media and is refusing to answer questions on his Article II constitutional eligibility to be President and Commander in Chief of the military. In fact he said last week people should not even question him about it. With him his exact citizenship status policy is, “don’t ask, don’t tell” and hope it goes away. Well it is not going away. This is a constitutionally based legal eligibility question. Obama’s election fraud and cover up will be revealed. The truth and the Constitution will win the day in the end and We the People will constitutionally remove the Usurper from his illegally obtained office.
Lie lie lie, tell the people exactly what they want to hear, promise the voters everything under the sun, what ever it takes to get elected. Don’t worry if it is a lie it doesn’t make any difference. Smile a lot and say hope and change over and over and over. If the election looks close toward the end, create a crisis by telling more lies and lie about your opponents position. Remember lie lie lie the people won’t know the difference. Now get out there and win the election, ugly or otherwise.
Why is Ron Paul trying to push a bill through Congress to have the Fed Reserve investigated, when JFK issued an Executive Order ( which has never been rescinded)making the Fed Illegal and avowing that all currency would be backed by Silver. I really believe JFK lost his life over this, As Johnson took over the Silver Certificates were with drawn and the Fed started issuing certificates backed by gold. It would appear the Executive Order could be used to totally destroy the Fed Reserve an imprison those that have operated openly against the EO.
    Hi Jackie, and thanks…doing OK, and hope you are, too.
    The USGS has been my source since I got out of college (for the 6th time) with my shiny new scientific degree in hand back in 1988.
    Now, I follow Earth and Atmospheric processes and have for a long time; I can see how, since Algore’s wonderful invention, the Internet, more info is being produced on topics such as this. So, while the Earth Scientists are fully aware and watch the trends, unless there’s something catastrophic, folks don’t really follow this stuff. That would stand to reason! Once you’re aware of the processes that occur on this planet on a daily basis, to read about a 2.3 magnitude at Yellowstone is pretty much par for the course.
    I’ve always been interested in violent Earth processes (a personality glitch, I suppose); what the Earth is capable of never fails to fascinate me, especially when people say that this is a ‘dead’ planet. Nothing could be further from the truth, and our home planet continues to amaze on a regular basis!
    Time to go look at some volcanoes :).
    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/08/administration-proposes-new-agency-study-climate-change/
    The comments are quite amusing and informative.
    One comment said:
    Earlier this month, veteran meteorologists Joseph D’Aleo and Anthony Watts published an extensive study, Surface Temperature Records: Policy Driven Deception?, which undermines the validity of ALL of the temperature data on which global warming advocacy relies. D’Aleo and Watts concluded, “Instrumental temperature data for the pre-satellite era (1850-1980) have been so widely, systematically, and unidirectionally tampered with that it cannot be credibly asserted there has been any significant “global warming” in the 20th century.“ Their study found that the global climate data centers removed three quarters of the climate measuring stations out of the data set in the early 90s. The removed sites were largely higher-latitude, higher-altitude and rural locations, those sites which tend to be cooler. Their study found widespread biased adjustments to raw data – making older temperatures cooler and more recent data warmer. They also document how 90% of the data collection stations did not meet National Weather Services site requirements — located next to air conditioning exhaust fans, surrounded by asphalt parking lots, and on blistering-hot rooftops. For example, the Hopkinsille, Kentucky thermometer is next to a tarmac and directly above a barbecue. So, I suggest that instead of spending hundreds of billions of dollars reengineering our economy, we should rethink global warming and move the barbecue.
    I then looked at the study the two meteoroligists published, and found it very thorough.
    The Whitehouse and all the rest of the cronies need to read this.
    Sarah Palin — Date of Birth: February 11,
    Thanks Michelle…..I haven’t been on facebook in a while….they usually post when one of your friend’s has a b-day!
  93. The Dec. 2004 quake in Indonesia and surrounding areas, caused a bit of an earth wobble. Let’s see, they said it did what, sped up time a bit or something in a minute amount? Was so strange. But it was powerful where it happened.
    There is a lot of ancient testimony throughout various peoples of the world ancient that when a wobble happened, they recorded it. Therefore, do we dismiss them as being stupid? No way. People have always been people as they are today. The ancients recorded things just like people do today. Even though they didn’t have the gadgets, they were still probably more brilliant. It’s sad that people don’t recognize their mentality. Most think that they lived in deserts, lived in caves and were stupid.
    Not so! Like Isaac Newton said, who was one of the greatest scientists in the whole world, what is known now has always been know before. And that’s not a direct quote, but he was brilliant and trusted and knew our creator was the master scientist.
    Honestly science has been in the dark ages even in our present time frame. They went into the dark ages when they stopped trusting in the creator. So they are the ones who lost insight.
    Illinois Woman Told She Is No Longer an American
    Angela Boneva is living in limbo.
    For years she, and the U.S. government, thought the Bulgarian-born 34-year-old was an American citizen. But, when she went to renew her passport in 2003, the State Department reportedly told her something terribly different.
    Boneva’s father was born in Indiana, and the consulate in Bulgaria gave her U.S. citizenship while she was growing up in the country in 1981. She was able to visit relatives in Chicago and eventually move to the area in 1997, the Chicago Tribune reported.
    Monday, February 08, 2010
    Then in 2003, the married mother of a now 7-year-old U.S.-born boy received a letter from the U.S. State Department saying there was a mistake and she wasn’t an American citizen, according to the Tribune.
    ————————-
    So, what about obama? They can check this ladies citizenship, but not obama?
    Something is wrong with this picture.
    As an Arizona resident, I agree about the Hayworth/McCain issue, posted through Jacqlyn via comment to Magna:
    “Magna….I have friends and family in AZ who are not supporting Hayworth…..one friend says if he wins the primary he will not beat the DemoCRAP…..this guy says he is nothing more than a blow hard and to be careful what you wish for…..I have been waiting on my Uncle to address whether he is supporting McCain or Hayworth……my Uncle is a huge conservative so we shall see….I know he voted for McCain in the election 2008!!”
    Unbeknown to many Arizonans and others around the country, there are two other candidates for the Arizona Senate seat, and one of them is (Jim Deakin, http://www.jimdeakin.com) (You can leave messages on Jim’s site) who has been in the campaign over a year and already has the required petition signatures for the ballot. Apparently, J. D. Hayworth has already asked Jim to step aside in spite of the fact that he knows Jim is the only official candidate ready for that primary ballot, and J. D. has not even formally started a campaign. Jim is a Tea Party, grassroots candidate who gets all over the state to see and speak with people. In a current poll, he is at 36.4% to J.D.’s 40% http://arizonateaparty.com/take_a_poll.html
    Pass the website on to those Arizona relatives, and they may just have someone of integrity, through Jim, to vote for come Primary time in Arizona (August).
    “More specifically, the whole “birth certificate” argument – which was raised and discredited because of its complete lack of merit – lost, clearly and decisively.
    The birthers remind me of the freaks who occasionally show up in court with long diatribes about …
    There’s no point in reviewing the utter paucity of anything that the Anglo-American legal tradition might regard as law or evidence supporting the proposition that somehow Barack Obama does not meet the citizenship requirements set forth in the Constitution. The true believers are utterly immune to evidence, …
    You can point out facts like the birth announcement from 1961, but that won’t help. Nor does his birth certificate – oh, I’m sorry, “Certificate of Live Birth,” which is supposed to somehow be different.
    We need to stand up and say, “No.” The whole issue is substantively false – the President has always been a citizen and eligible to serve. That’s just a fact – and facts are supposed to be our currency. If there was ever a question, the voters answered it in 2008.
    We need to say “No” because this whole discussion hurts our country.”
  123. Something that concerns me more than anything, is how FOX is really, and I mean REALLY pushing Palin.
    They’re running commentaries on her 24/7 with opinion panels, polls, appearances, etc.
    But they won’t give Ron Paul a minutes worth of airtime (if and when they do, it’s not near as heavy as Palin).
    Why would FOX be keeping someone like Dr.Paul down, and championing Palin?
    Me thinks they are controlled opposition (two heads of the same monster) controlled by the AP and Rueters, which is controlled by the Industrial Military Complex, which is controlled by the Federal Reserve Bank.
    They can control Palin, they can’t control Dr.Paul.
    He wants to shut down the Fed.
    They have a vested interest in keeping Dr.Paul out of the spotlight, and pushing Palin.
    PS ……… I do believe Palin’s heart is in the right place, I just don’t believe she’s fully aware of the cartel she’s dealing with.
  124. I don’t have a problem with her helping out McCain, but I am concerned about Perry. You know she may just be playing the Rino’s along to get their help. She is a smart lady.   125. Article at: http://theobamafile.com/ObamaLatest.htm
    Attorneys Only — Information Request
    Three classes of U. S. citizenship are currently identified on The Obama File’s Natural Born page. These three classes are referenced in the US Constitution, applicable case law, and US Code:
    1. “Natural born” citizen
    2. “Native born” citizen
    3. “Naturalized” citizen
    All three are “citizens” of the United States of America. However, if one looks at the logical cases, there appears to be a fourth class:
    1. Parentage important AND birthplace important — a “natural born” citizen is any person born of US citizen parents (that’s two) in the US mainland (includes Alaska and Hawaii) — think Ronal Reagan.
    2. Parentage not important AND birthplace important — a “native born” citizen is any person born in the US mainland (includes Alaska and Hawaii) — one or both of the parents may be foreign nationals — think Barack Obama.
    3. Parentage not important AND birthplace not important — a “naturalized” citizen is a citizen as the result of a process — think Arnold Schwarzenegger.
    Given that, what is the proper name and classification for the following case:
    4. Parentage important AND birthplace not important — a “foreign born” citizen is any person born of US citizen parents (that’s two) on foreign soil — think John McCain.
    WHAT IS HIS POINT? Some think John McCain is/might/should be eligible!
    Prairie…………….Wasn’t it McCaskill and HRC along with the FRAUD who brought up that 511 deal…..I don’t think it was McCain but I will check my file because I have saved a lot of the information from my work with the American Grand Jury……As far as a Conspiracy…..I think it is the truth…..I believe they have all done their part to cover this up…..politicians, media….etc…..I have been in a back and forth all week with the editor of the Chicago Tribune who keeps calling me a nutty “birther”….I told the coward….who won’t even give me his name that he can end it all by unsealing all of his documents……this whole thing can be put to rest easily…..this is not a conspiracy theory…..it can be proven once the court gives Mario or whoever permission for discovery…..it will be all over once that happens…..the problem seems to be with the powers that be and the hold they have on all of the branches of our government and the media!!! How do we break through….that is the million dollar question!
    IMO…..Palin is the real deal…..she supports McCain out of friendship and as a fellow Repub…..I wouldn’t expect anything less from her……I don’t view McCain as dangerous though.     Palin as much as i admire her and her love for the usa etc. I don’t think she can win. Why becasue the lefts hatred hatred of this woman will fuel them to corruption at any cost or way. This would be like having Jesus’s family in the white house. Not exactly but what she represents. God,goodness,righteousness etc. This would drive them crazy. She would get very close but not enough to win. Time will tell very soon who will rise up
  130. I have read that the many Tea Partiers do not want to be part of, or involved with any political party. If this is true then they are acting against their own interests. If they refuse to band together with other PATRIOTS,CONSERVATIVES, and BIRTHERS, then they will lose a lot of voter strength at a time when strength in numbers is needed most. I believe that the interests of ALL of us is to get rid of the PHONEYS in Congress in November, and the worst phoney of all in 2012. I also believe that we all are believers in our Constitution, and Bill of Rights. If the Tea Partiers believe as the rest of us do then I fail to understand why there is a problem. The final act is GOING TO REQUIRE GREAT STRENGTH IN NUMBERS AT THE VOTING MACHINE. Just because they have some kind of grassroots differences why blow the election for everyone, and get PELOSI,and REID for ANOTHER term. I really have a problem believing that the Tea Partiers do not want to be part of their downfall. I say this because this is the what the talk, and comments seem to be saying. I ask “Why do you want to DEFEAT your own cause”? Both in November, and again in 2012 there will be an absolute need for ALL of us to unite,and set aside our petty differrences. I personally intend to do whatever is needed to get RID of the TYRANT in the WH. If I have misread the views of the Tea Partiers please correct me, because I too am one of you, and this is not my idea of how to win an election. Ninety percent of winning an election lies in overwhelming NUMBERS of valid voters. I do not yet know enough about Baldwin to support him or his party, which is the Constitution Party. If this party insists on running somebody who is NOT well know across America they will probably lose. To me Baldwin needs to do something that out does Sarah Palin’s popularity. How many people can say that they are as knowledgeable about Baldwin as they are Sarah Palin? In 2010 it will HAVE to be people who are WELL KNOWN, and accepted by the voters. An unknown value will fail. Then again in 2012 it will be necessary to band together once again because in numbers there IS STRENGTH…………….at the VOTING MACHINE where it will still count. Again I hope that I am wrong on this one.
    Kurt you are substantively WRONG.
  134. JS,
    McCaskill introduced legislation in February that was shot down. 511 was introduced 6 weeks later by o and Hillary (I think that is the rough time line). The lawyers who argued the constitutionality of it did a snowjob on the senate. It was indeed the birth of the conspiracy- pun intended.
  135. The South,
    I agree with you. If you take a look at Tarpley’s interview (JustMe kindly posted it this a.m.) the key issue is maintaining the U.S. as a super power.
    Tarpley stated that the U.S. can either maintain a rational stance and play the peace card or it can wage war to try and maintain its declining superpower status. Declining, because China is now clearly taking the lead economically. That also gives China the absolute upper hand because war is costly.
    Policy and politics is about controlling the politicians that will maintain imperial status. The more malleable the political candidate (meaning either ambitious and/or vain), the more desirable the candidate . Obama is a perfect choice. Palin is ambitious, perhaps less vain.
    The way I look at all of this is We The People need to get back to our Constitution.We need people that will FULLY SUPPORT our Constitution.If they don’t back it and follow it I will not vote for them at all.
    I’ve been sending and talking to people about The Third Party(Constitution Party).They ALL love it and all wondered why they never heard of it and all are passing it on.That is the ONLY party that questioned the BC issue.We need to get back to our roots and that to me is our Constitution.Its not about R or D or I or L or even the Green Party movement.Its about our country and whats better for her and that to me is The Constitution.Here’s the link from the Constitution Party questioning the BC.
    God Bless!!
  139. Venice,
    Yes, they ‘hand pick’ their politicians to maintain or lose power. It all boils down to the Federal Reserve Bank, and their plans for world wide governance.
    I believe Palins heart is in the right spot, but I’m not sure if she’s knowledgeable enough to fight this monster (i.e. Federal Reserve) and if she was, would she?
    Ron Paul on the other hand would immediately sign an Executive Order to return the power of our monetary system to the Treasury (like Kennedy did) and influx the market with true Treasury Bills.
    Within 30 days the Fed would be dead, and that’s why they can’t let him win.
    I don’t think Palin is that bold, but Dr. Paul wouldn’t mess around for one single second if he ever took the Presidency.
    He would cut the head off the beast immediately.
    This is why I believe FOX adopted Palin, because the powers to be feel they can ultimately control her.
    If they were pushing a true Conservative/Constitutional agenda, they would be all over Dr. Paul like white on rice.
    Why didn’t FOX cover “CC2009” ?
    Why won’t FOX alert the citizens of this country about Aaron Russo’s film “American:Freedom to Fascism” ?
    Think about it.
  140. Not to mention: Dr. Paul would immediately pull all troops from all other countries and bring them home.
    The Federal Reserve Banks feed on war, and they can’t let a man like Paul win, it would be curtains.
  141. GORDO…………………………….
    I think that the letters “COLB” represent both CERTIFICATION of LIVE BIRTH, and CERTIFICATE of LIVE BIRTH. It is the latter that all of us WANT to see. The “CERTIFICATION of live birth” is what we ALL saw on Fight the Smears. Unfortunately it was somebody’s phoneyised bullsh##. Not that it meant anything anyway. As has been already stated by a lot of people the “CERTIFICATE” of LIVE BIRTH will tell it ALL, not just a little.
  142. The South,
    I like Palin, but I have this crushing memory of Palin answering the phone believing it was the French head of state, when in fact it was a barbaric stunt. But she is very ambitious and therefore potentially easily manoeuvred.
    The steady drumbeat for Marco Rubio keeps going on and on. Today he is picking up the endorsement of Congressman Mike Pence.
    Congressman Pence said, “I am proud to endorse Marco Rubio for the United States Senate. Marco Rubio’s faith in free markets, limited government and traditional moral values make him the right choice for Republicans in this race. At a time when the American people long for leaders of principle, Marco Rubio will be a courageous check and balance on the current Washington establishment.
  145. My Response to Joseph Farrah
    Posted by Aaron Gardner
    “This weekend, at the National Tea Party Convention, Joseph Farrah addressed the crowd and claimed that the search for Bambi’s birth certificate is a valid arm of conservative activism. Below is my response.
    While the constitutional issue is there still and could still be tested, the truth of it is … it doesn’t matter electorally. The voters don’t give a whit about that, …
    So to Joseph Farrah and those tilting at the birfer windmill, I say quit. No one who matters cares about this issues.”
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Sarah Palin: RNC Chair

    Monday, February 8th at 1:09AM EST

    I’ve been really absent from Redstate due to family and work (new startup company, two kids under five, and everything else that goes with it) and I do apologize. I try to keep up, but… let’s face it, Erick has built the best online community of political activists anywhere, and it’s hard to keep up. 🙂

    But in any case, mea culpas aside, let me pop my head up real quickly to say that having watched Gov. Palin’s speech at the Tea Party Convention in full (available here on PJTV — skip the legacy media, support PJTV if you can)… I am more convinced than ever that Gov. Palin should be the next chair of the RNC. In fact, Chairman Steele should step down now, fly to Alaska, and fairly BEG Gov. Palin to take the job.

    Erick has articulated why Sarah Palin is such a powerful and dynamic political force. I agree with everything he has written there. But there’s something more to her that I find even more amazing.

    She is a full-spectrum conservative: fiscal, foreign policy, and social. She is on record with her pro-life position; in the speech itself, and the interview immediately following, she made an astonishing statement that our political class should not be afraid of affirming their faith in God and seeking divine intervention and guidance.

    As a two-thirds conservative myself, such religious statements would normally make me nervous and wary. But not when it comes from Palin.

    I don’t know why it is, but she truly gives me the sense that she believes what she believes and will not waver, but that she isn’t seeking to impose her beliefs on me via the force of government. She is the least threatening, least preachy social conservative on the national scene today. I do beg forgiveness from the SoCon members on Redstate for that last sentence, if it offends — I respect your beliefs and your positions, but you have to admit that someone like Huckabee is a bit over the top.

    Then when she said that she would support candidates who got the basics right — smaller, more limited government, respect for the Constitution, and strong national defense — even if she disagreed with some of their positions on other issues, she won me over completely.

    This is a woman who can unite not only the Tea Party partisans, but the entire GOP, while bringing the Republican Party back to its roots and back to its senses. When Palin spoke about how the Republicans should be thinking how they can bring in as much of the Tea Party under its tent as possible, I thought she was laying out a vision for a simultaneous reform of the GOP and the empowerment of the Tea Party movement through the political power that still exists within the Republican Party. She can build the big tent, accommodate the various factions, while reminding us all of the Basics: limited government, strong national defense, free markets, and values rooted in faith without overreaching.

    Given what she’s been through in 2008, a run for President in 2012 is a bit too early for her, I believe. She wields enormous political power already as a private citizen. But the RNC Chair is a civilian position; it isn’t elected office. The RNC Chair is not responsible for governing; s/he is only responsible for strengthening the Party.

    Granted, she doesn’t need the RNC to have the political power she already has. She is already more powerful, in my judgment, than Chairman Steele. But the RNC and the GOP need her. The Tea Party movement would only benefit by taking over one of the two major parties. And the country would benefit as a result.

    It’s time the GOP rediscovered its roots and its core values. It’s time that the GOP listen to the People, as expressed in the Tea Party movement. It’s time that the Tea Party movement be lifted up, that every primary be contested, especially those of longtime Washington and Statehouse insiders who have forgotten the Basics. Imagine what Sarah Palin could do as the head of the RNC.

    Run, Sarah, Run — but not for President. Not yet. Fix the GOP first, and help us set the foundation. Before you help clean out Washington, help clean out the Republican Party.

  156. Jacqlyn Smith…………………………………………

    Your comment of 10;18PM is very well stated. I too think that as the chairlady of the RNC she could do as much for the party as well as all Americans simply by doing what she seems to do best. At the same time the OBOT morons would have a lot less to use against her, because she wouldn’t be involved in enforcing policy, just making it. I also think that she could be the catalyst that would bring about a real unification of the RNC.

    Soros is the puppet master – Obama is supposed to destroy all things good about America –

    http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/14089

    The Politico report listed the following questions for Democrat to ask of Republican opponents:
    Do you believe that Barack Obama is a U.S. citizen?

    Do you think the 10th Amendment bars Congress from issuing regulations like minimum health care coverage standards?

    Do you think programs like Social Security and Medicare represent socialism and should never have been created in the first place?

    Do you think President Obama is a socialist?

    Do you think America should return to a gold standard?
    The memo instructs that if a GOP candidate says no, make his or her “primary opponent or conservative activists know it.”

  159. I have heard much about Hayworth in Arizona as having the kind of constitutional strength as is touted by most on this blog. That is good to hear.

    However, I am currently on a trip to AZ and have seen him on TV. I am now very worried. Ideologically he may be OK. But he seemed to come across as a sleazy used car salesman to me. I hope I am wrong.

    Something for you to consider:

    The year is 1947

    Some of you will recall that on July 8, 1947, a little over 60 years ago, witnesses claim that an unidentified flying object (UFO) with five aliens aboard crashed onto a sheep and mule ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico . This is a well known incident that many say has long been covered up by the U.S. Air Force and other federal agencies and organizations.

    However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of April 1948, nine months after that historic day, the following people were born:

    Albert A. Gore, Jr..
    Hillary Rodham
    John F. Kerry
    William J. Clinton
    Howard Dean
    Nancy Pelosi
    Dianne Feinstein
    Charles E. Schumer
    Barbara Boxer

    See what happens when aliens breed with sheep and jackasses?
    I certainly hope this bit of information clears up a lot of things for you. It did for me.

    No wonder they support the bill to help illegal aliens!

    For those who’ve studied Roswell, it was rumored that one of the little guys did survive for a time. He must’ve been a busy little alien!

    I wrote a diary about activism and a bunch of birfers came and crashed the party. Half of them displayed that they have zero reading comp skills,which is part of the reason I don’t trust their Constitutional chops they always talk about, and the other half are actually zombies, seriously, they eat brains.

    You seem to be some sort of middle of the road peace keeper above it all shooting at everyone involved.

  178. Re Redstate. It’s funny you guys are talking about that site. I used to love it and went over there a few days ago for the first time in a long time. Shrug. Open mouth. Close mouth. Shrug again.

    Okay, I will say this. I sincerely believe the very best thing a dem senator could do right now is to resign. They all seem to still be clueless about how devastating the November losses will be to their own futures in politics.

Despite his rhetoric and intentions, the international community is beginning to realize that our president may never become the expected formidable political player and will see him as a weak and ineffective leader.

    Domestically, Obama has fared no better. . . . .

  181. GOP cool to Obama’s health care pow wow

    http://primebuzz.kcstar.com/?q=node/21295

    “If we are to reach a bipartisan consensus, the White House can start by shelving the current health spending bill,” said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.

    But House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said his earlier efforts to reach out to Republicans “did not result in any serious follow through to work together in a bipartisan fashion.” …………….

    “Obama also is trying to address criticism of Democrats’ closed-door negotiations that led to special accommodations (my comment: You mean — bribes) for Nebraska and Louisiana senators when their votes on health care were in question. Some Republicans taunted Obama for suggesting earlier that health care negotiations should be aired on C-SPAN, and one GOP senator said health care would be the president’s Waterloo.

    Obama said the closed-door deal-cutting was not helpful to the process.

    “They did not help. They frustrate me. But, you know, this is a democracy,” Obama said.

    Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said, “we have promoted the pursuit of a bipartisan approach to health reform from day one.” (Yeah. Right. o.’s bipartisan approach is do it my way and force it through no matter what.)

    Submitted by Bill Dalton on February 8, 2010 – 1:17pm.
    ++++++++++++++++++
    Funny. I’d just been thinking of healthcare as o.’s Waterloo, too.

  182. Yeah, Bo, I bet you are frustrated by our democracy, what little we have left of it.

    You just cannot stand the truth that human beings, created in the image of God, are endowed by Him with rights to live, to self-govern, to be free, to be happy, to be productive in their own right.

    You actually cannot stand truth, period. Y are not even truthful about who you really are. You certainly are not the president. Nothing you do is valid or binding upon the free people of America.

    I know, I must be a racist. I only say these things because your skin is black(ish).

    Ooops. My bad. You say you’re half white, so, technically, I can only be half a racist, since you are only half black.

    Oh, but wait. That’s not right, either. You aren’t really black at all. Well, only, what is it? under 7%? You are 43% Arab. So you say. (I wouldn’t really know, since I’ve seen no documentation validating your biological parentage.) (But Arab makes a LOT of sense to me based on your style of “leadership.”)

    But, I digress.

    So, really, I am only 7% a racist for disagreeing with you, for asking questions that Americans naturally ask 24/7.

    Oh wait. I must be a bully, too. Yeah. Don’t forget the bully part. Only a bully disagrees with others’ opinions, right?

    Poor, put-upon Bo. What a bully I am to tell you that you can’t be president. What a bully I am to hold you accountable to the rules.

    What a bully I am to expect civil behavior from you, to expect to be treated respectfully by you, merely because I am a human being.

    Only a racist bully would refuse to be intimidated by your insults and obvious contempt for the American people, right?

    Only a racist bully would refuse to give ground to your “get in their face and sucker punch them” tactics.

    Right?

    Naaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.

    You can’t fool me with that one. I don’t buy into your word-twisting lying-speak for one single second.

    But, hey, ol Bo, I had ya going there for a minute, didn’t I?

    Nope. I’m not a racist. I’m not a bully.

    You, though, wow!! You have got the bullying thing down, you and your kindred spirits. You are one of the most accomplished bullies and bully mack daddies I have ever seen in action.

    So, ol Bo, we’re back to that accountability you prove so adroit at avoiding.

    I am an American citizen, and you, sir, are NOT the American president.

    Please vacate the Oval Office and go along to your public accounting for your crimes.

  183. RON PAUL is a one trick pony and we already saw that circus before.

    Palin:
    Is independent minded in the GOP but is trying to infuse CHANGE in the Party and within the party to do that she has to work with the ingredients that she has there. Change will not come overnight. McCAmnesty picked her and gave us a present she would be more ridiculed if she didn’t help him. McCain supported Brown and helped him….he would be ridiculed if he didn’t return the favor.

    As I stated before Palin;s startegy with McCain is a WIN WIN whether McCain wins or loses plus hse is gettign INVOLVED and getting exposure. In Politics there are strange bedfellows and “necessary” evils. McCain has many supporters around teh country and the last thing any serious candidate would do is alienate them.

    Palin is doing what she needs to do. If she didn’t support McCain she would be painted as a “quitter” again and a backstabber.

    Palin is one of us she has proved it her whole life.
    She constinues being teh same Mom and common sense down to earth American that she always was…and she has had much thrown at her from all sides. The last thing she needs is friendly fire.

    We have a Pal in Palin.
    Palin/Bachmann 2012 truly Historic Course Reversal.

  184. Palin and Perry doing K-I-S-S under a cherry.

    Until we found out about Medina I would venture to say most of us Favored Perry of Hutchinson RIGHT?

    Well maybe Palin didn’t know about “unknown” Medina til after she endorsed Perry. ALSO I think Perry is a good candidate and mostly alined with us except for a few things that he like the GOPs were “dragged” left by the RINO nuts in the party. Perry may well move right now that he and GOPers see that being moderate makes us irate.

    Don’t give up on Perry he is viable and much better than Hutchinson BUT if Medina does her work like Scott Brown I’m sure we will all support her after all it is only the primary. The cream will rise to the top. I didn’t support Scott Brown in the primary. I actually withdrew my support for him and backed Jack E Robinson because he was more conservative. Of course after Brown won I supported him. The same is going on down in Texas. Palin is doing her job, getting involved and gettign better known. I like her move in Texas she backed a viable candidate who is much more conservative than the other GOP viable candidate. It would be foolish to back Medina who was an UNKOWN until recently.

    Palin is where she should be.

    We have a Pal in Palin.

  188. NAFTA, NORTH AMERICAN UNION, TRANS TX CORRIDOR – A PRIMER ON OUR FUTURE.

    I think most informed voters in Texas know that Perry, who is an active participant of the Bilderberg group, and Kaye Bailey Hutchison who is a member of the Steering Committee of the Bilderberg group, are savvy enough to see both of these candidates are nothing more than a two headed political snake active in destroying the United States of America along with the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

    The grassroots efforts of a few here in Texas have been fighting to retain and reverse the loss of liberties and freedoms of every single one of us through the battle of the Trans Texas Corridor. It’s the Battle of the Alamo redux for these tireless folks. To somehow declare that Perry is good because Palin has thrown her support his way clearly indicates to me there are a few that may not understand threat of the globalists’ plan.

    I thought, perhaps, by taking time to share a few key points about the history & goals of NAFTA, much of which is from Jerome Corsi’s research, with fellow CW bloggers may be helpful. The CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) – the same global elite of the New World Order – have “underwritten” the task of creating the NORTH AMERICAN UNION. On March 23, 2005, the SPP – Security Prosperity Partnership of North America – was officially declared in Waco, Texas, by the leaders of 3 nations; Canada, Mexico and the United States. This plan which was years in the making, and in the latter years was closely fostered by George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Baby Bush. It amounts to nothing more than bi-partisan treason. Let that phrase sink in for a bit.

    Since that day in Waco, the SPP – a shadow government positioned WITHIN the Department of Commerce – has created some 20+ “working groups” that have been busy REWRITING the fundamental laws of this nation. They even gave us a new name. We are no longer referred to as the United States of America, we are now referred to as NORTH AMERICAN UNION. “Working groups” is the same term used by the European Union, also a creation of the CFR, who recently elected their first “president.” If fact, he wasted no time declaring, in his acceptance speech, the EU would usher in the New World Order.

    “NAFTA is merely the first draft of an economic constitution for North America” – quote by Robert Pastor, a member of CFR.

    These “working groups” are made up of nameless bureaucrats who spend their time rewriting the rules and regulations of all areas, including administration, and they have been actively REWRITING ours. According to Corsi’s book, “The Late Great USA,” cabinet-level officers in each government were assigned to oversee their work. In the US, the cabinet members were Condoleezza Rice, Michael Certoff and Carlos Gutierrez. The Waco Declaration referred to these cabinet level officers as “ministers,” another term used by the European Union.

    The SPP was NEVER submitted to Congress for debate and decision. There was no law passed by Congress, no law signed by the president and no treaty ratified by the Senate. Corsi says that at best the legal status of the SPP was a press conference. Yet, two months after the Waco summit meeting, the CFR issued their report entitled “Building a North American Community, declaring it the blueprint for the plan behind the SPP.

    If you’re curious as to what the CFR’s blueprint for the future of the late, great U.S.A. (and Canada/Mexico) looks like, here’s a link to the document on Google Books.

    http://books.google.com/books?id=lVf-k6y8y3wC&dq=north+american+union+2010&printsec=frontcover&source=in&hl=en&ei=n0dxS7z2OoKj8QaYuezHCw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=12&ved=0CDIQ6AEwCw#v=onepage&q=&f=false

    Within SPP.gov, EVERYONE of our departments have merged with these working groups of Canada and Mexico and they are busy rewriting and have rewritten much in all the areas of our law – administration and regulations; commerce, energy, health, environment, agriculture, all the trade goods such as textiles, steel, aviation.

    The NAFTA Superhighway, also known as the Trans Texas Corridor, runs through the spine of America. It is a very critical part of the overall infrastructure of the North American Union and depends on OPEN borders. This is why no one has or cares to secure the borders. Corsi covers the details of how this “delivery system” for goods from foreign countries will work and the importance of this highway to the elite and what they have in store for us. More info can also be found here: http://www.texasturf.org

    By now, it should be evident that Governor Rick Perry has been complicit in selling out & destroying America and our Constitution with this behemoth highway that has displaced many good, hard working, salt of the earth folks and cost the taxpayers billions, while putting billions into the pockets of foreign corporations and advancing the ultimate agenda of the global elite – world government. Now, ask yourself, do we really have a PAL in Palin?

    Sen. Shelby Releases Appointment Holds

    February 9, 2010 in Campaign 2008, Campaign 2010, Campaign 2012, Economy, Politics, Uncategorized | Tags: Airbus, Barack Obama, Boeing, Dept. of Defense, Richard Shelby, Robert Gibbs, Senate confirmations | Leave a comment

    WASHINGTON – Republican Sen. Richard Shelby of Alabama will stop blocking Senate confirmation of about 70 government appointees nominated by President Barack Obama, his office said.

    Shelby had placed “holds” on most of Obama’s nominees, delaying the Senate from acting on them, in a dispute over federal spending involving his state.

    “The purpose of placing numerous holds was to get the White House’s attention on two issues that are critical to our national security — the Air Force’s aerial refueling tanker acquisition and the FBI’s Terrorist Device Analytical Center,” Shelby spokesman Jonathan Graffeo said in a statement Monday night.

    Shelby wants the tanker and the new FBI explosives center to be built in Alabama. Senators frequently block individual appointments, but Shelby’s blanket hold was unusual.

    Now that he has gotten Obama’s attention, Graffeo said, “Sen. Shelby has decided to release his holds on all but a few nominees directly related to the Air Force tanker acquisition.”

    White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Friday, “If you needed one example of what’s wrong with this town, it might be that one senator can hold up 70 qualified individuals to make government better because he didn’t get his earmarks.”

    for full story: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100209/ap_on_go_co/us_senator_blocking_nominations;_ylt=ArtsPvbDn7skzi02mXgIYL2s0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTQzOGdkcDVjBGFzc2V0A2FwLzIwMTAwMjA5L3VzX3NlbmF0b3JfYmxvY2tpbmdfbm9taW5hdGlvbnMEY2NvZGUDbW9zdHBvcHVsYXIEY3BvcwM0BHBvcwMxBHB0A2hvbWVfY29rZQRzZWMDeW5faGVhZGxpbmVfbGlzdARzbGsDYWxhYmFtYXNlbmF0

    Note: What Mr. Gibbs fails to mention, and I am no fan of earmarks, is that the DoD was planning on having the Tanker refuelers built in FRANCE instead of in AMERICA.

    Magna…..If electing Palin makes these nut jobs leave I hope to GOD she runs and wins!!!

  226. I received this from Senator DeMint…..a moneybomb for Rubio…….Please help…..the RINO is Crist……big hug from the FRAUD!!!

    Dear Friend:

    I’m writing to call your attention to a very important race for the U.S. Senate and to ask for your help.

    As you know, Marco Rubio, the former state Speaker of the House, is running against Governor Charlie Crist for the open U.S. Senate seat in Florida. Marco Rubio is a principled conservative but his opponent is an Arlen Specter Republican.

    As chairman of the Senate Conservatives Fund, I’m organizing a “money bomb” to raise support for Marco Rubio’s campaign. This fundraising sprint will conclude this Wednesday, February 10 so please join me by making a contribution today at RubioMoneyBomb.com.

    The outcome of this race in Florida is critical. It’s a choice between a candidate who will consistently stand up and fight for limited government and more freedom, and one who has been too quick to compromise for political gain.

    On February 10, 2009, Governor Crist cleared his schedule to stand on a stage with President Obama in Ft. Meyers, Florida. Governor Crist used the opportunity to embrace the President and campaign for the $787 billion stimulus bill.

    One year later, we have a mountain of new debt and millions of lost jobs. This is not the kind of record voters should reward with a seat in the United States Senate.

    This is why we have chosen February 10 as the date for the money bomb for Marco Rubio. We have set a goal of raising $100,000, which will begin to provide him with the resources he needs to fight the false and misleading attacks Governor Crist is making against him.

    Thousands of Americans recently supported a money bomb for Senator Scott Brown in Massachusetts, which raised $1.3 million for his campaign in just 24 hours. If we can raise just a fraction of that amount for Marco Rubio’s campaign, it will give him the funds he needs to win.

    If the Massachusetts Senate race taught us anything, it’s that voters want leaders who will stand up for common-sense, conservative principles. Marco Rubio is that kind of leader. He will fight to stop the massive spending, bailouts, and takeovers that are being forced on us by politicians in Washington.

    Marco Rubio believes in constitutional limits, a balanced budget, and individual liberty. These are not radical ideas. They are the principles of freedom that have made America great, and we desperately need new leaders in the Senate like Marco Rubio who will fight to defend them.

  227. DeMint is speaking on Beck’s radio show…..they are talking about McCain…..DeMint says he only supports McCain on things that are right for the country!! DeMint says he is not getting involved in the race in AZ!! He is supporting Chuck DeVore in California…..another good Conservative!! DeVore stood up to the Repubs when they were spending too much money!

  228. Below is a comment from Mario Apuzzo at his blog concerning the FRAUD’S statement that citizens should not be questioning his citizenship….Mario nails it…..

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Puzo1 said…
    We have recently witnessed Obama publicly demand that the American people not question his citizenship. Well, that is an amazing statement given two “little” things:
    One, Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 requires that a would-be President be a “natural born Citizen.” Hence, surely the office contender’s citizenship is relevant to determining whether he or she is a “natural born Citizen” and therefore, also meeting the age and residency requirements, qualified to be President.
    Two, we still do not know whether Obama was born in Hawaii, for he has to date refused to produce a contemporaneous (from 1961) birth certificate or other contemporaneous and objective documentary evidence proving such fact. Rather, he has only posted on the internet a questionable June 2008 image of a Certification of Live Birth (COLB) of which the alleged underlying authentic paper document would nevertheless only be “prima facie” evidence of the birth event (“true” only from the face of the document and which “truth” can be disproved by contradictory evidence). I have provided a list of this contradictory evidence in my essay, What Is Putative President Obama’s Current U.S. Citizenship Status? , which may be found at
    http://puzo1.blogspot.com/2009/12/what-is-putative-president-obamas.html. This contradictory evidence surely compels Obama, who wants to occupy and exercise the great power of the Office of President and Commander in Chief of the Military and who has the burden to prove that he is constitutionally eligible to fill those offices, to provide corroborating evidence of his place of birth.
    The simple answer to Obama’s statement that the American people should not question his citizenship is that he should simply not have run for President.
    Too bad that our Congress failed to understand this very simple point.
  229. The Council of Governors Takes Shape – (And, Obama names himself as one of the governors)
    by Chuck Baldwin
    “[T]he creation of a Council of Governors should be of serious concern to all liberty loving Americans…As I have said many times, we have far more to fear from Washington, D.C., than from Iran, Iraq, North Korea, or any other potential terrorist state. It is Washington, D.C.,–and Washington, D.C., alone–that has the power, opportunity, and propensity to squash our freedom and sell us into tyranny.”
    Baldwin’s article includes the list of governors and link sto other pertinent info.
    I have also posted links and information related to these regions last summer and again recently here on CW’s site.
    Obama’s Spook Lies
    Last Sunday, Obama’s spook, John Brennan, who got his job because he scrubbed Obama’s passport files, was interviewed by Fox News’ Chris Wallace about the circumstances surrounding the events of Christmas and the Crotch Bomber (transcript).
    Yesterday, Pete Hoekstra said Brennan lied about the facts in his interview with Wallace.
    Rep. Hoekstra (R-MI) disputes Brennan’s claims about Christmas briefing (05:01)
    At 3:29 in the video, during a previous interview (03:29) with Perky, Katie Couric asks Obama if he has ruled out conducting the KSM trial in the Big Apple. Obama responds, “I have not ruled it out.”
    He didn’t say the attorney general has not ruled it out. I contend that confirms my opinion from the previous item.
  234. Here’s a piece on McCain/Hayworth of Arizona.
    I’m beginning to think that regardless of Sara stumping,many voters will think independently on their primary choices. Perhaps they will let their opposition candidate pay for Sara to come ..then go and check her out with no intention of voting for them.
  235. JJ // @ 11:30 am
    That extra zero bothered me since the first time I saw it, out of sequence-it would definitely jazz up a computer sort.
    re: Sarah’s notes on her hand-4-5 words. I can’t believe they are making a federal case out of this, while ignoring Constitutional issues all Obama’s . I think one of the reasons Sarah and others do this is
    when folks are interviewed for example Orly, Pam Geller and lots of others they are interrupted so much that I think Sarah was determined to have these issues brought up.
    In defense of Sarah she had 4-5 words, as opposed to Obama who does everything via teleprompter and still messes it up. When the ever depressed teleprompter committed hara kari too many times and he was on his own-the um, um, uhh disasters. Lots of videos on that.
    Debra Medina Live Tonight
    By Tom Wright | Tuesday, February 9th, 2010 at 5:21 am
    Tea Party Patriots in Texas are excited about the candidacy of businesswoman Debra Medina for governor. Tonight the rest of the country will have an opportunity to hear this real American patriot talking about States Rights and limited government.
    Many Texans want to send a clear message to Washington that Texans will no longer allow the Federal government to deny their State Sovereignty. The federal government has gone WAY beyond its constitutional authority. Texans are beginning to exercise their God-given, unalienable rights, and are demanding that ALL public servants — from Texas to Washington D.C. and from sea to shining sea — keep their Oaths of Office and work toward restoring the principles on which our great country was founded.
    TONIGHT (2/9/2010) there will be a two-hour show on Blog Talk Radio. The first hour (8-9 pm CST) will be a discussion of States Rights, Sovereignty, and Nullification. You may prepare by reading The Fort Hill Address (PDF) by John C. Calhoun, defining the limited powers of the government under the Constitution. It will help you to understand the concepts of State Sovereignty and the historically proven legal doctrine of Nullification.
    The special guest of the second hour (9-10 pm CST) will be Republican candidate for Governor of the Sovereign State of Texas Debra Medina. She will discuss States Rights and limited government. The subjects of Sovereignty and Nullification will continue as major topics.
    The program will be carried by the Patriot’s Heart Network on Blog Talk Radio, streamed over the internet. If you have never before listened to Blog Talk Radio (BTR), you might consider reading How to Listen during the hours prior to the show to get pointers. You can also access the player from this page when it is time for the show. Or you can go directly to:
