Apparently Glenn Beck has not apologized for being a hypocrite and a jerk. On Monday, January 4, 2010, on Glenn Beck’s radio show, Beck who is very much uninformed on the subject of Obama’s eligibility, insulted millions of hard working, concerned, patriotic Americans.
While I might agree with Beck on prioritizing the Obama eligibility issue, I had the good sense and respect for others to stay out of their way. It appears that Beck has not learned that lesson. It also appears, as my mom used to say that “He has gotten too big for his britches.”
Here is what is going to happen. Anybody can make a mistake. So I am willing to give Glenn Beck a chance to apologize, pay attention and either cover the story properly or keep his damn mouth shut.
I will attempt once again to contact him tomorrow.
If Beck has not responded, I will query the good people of this blog and others to possibly boycott Glen Beck’s shows.
What Beck has done is inexcusable. I listened to most of his Fox TV show today, January 7, 2010. After Beck had made the insults and today violated almost every principle he discussed today, I was ready to let him have it. I despise a hypocrite.

It seems to me that Mr. Beck either will not or cannot address the arguments against Mr. Obama’s eligibility on their merits, so he resorts to name calling.
Mr. Beck, if our arguments are so absurd, then address them and defeat them.
How is it that Obama, who has willfully admitted that his father was a british citizen at the time of his (Obama’s) birth, can be a natural born citizen as required by our constitution to be president?
I dont know what to think. I heard what he said on the radio show, and it was a bit harsh.
What Im curious about is why would Beck say what he said when most of his fan base are the folks who think Obama is ineligible (not natural born). I am active in the tea party movement & most I know truly believe that Obama is not legit.
For instance, most of Beck’s fan base (including myself) feel Obama is a racist. So when Beck said that Obama is a racist, we all supported him being bold enough to speak it. Then the lefties tried to take Beck down because of it. But Beck’s fan base fought hard to defend him.
Now Beck is saying bad things about birthers. The birthers were the ones who stood by him the most.
So it would be prudent & wise for Beck to give an apology. Because he was the one who said that we must ASK THE QUESTION.

Airplane Security Problems Today–
Toledo Palestinian arrested off of plane in Miami.
(CBS/AP) An airline passenger who yelled “I want to kill all the Jews” on a Detroit-bound plane was arrested on disorderly conduct and other charges, but authorities said Thursday the incident didn’t appear terrorism-related.
Mansor Mohammad Asad, 43, of Toledo, Ohio, was arrested Wednesday night after a taxiing Northwest Airlines flight returned to a gate at Miami International Airport, Miami-Dade police said. After a confrontation with officers, Asad was charged with threats against a public servant, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence.
FBI spokeswoman Judy Orihuela said there were no indications the incident was connected to terrorism. The bureau was initially brought in to look into the disturbance but is no longer involved in the investigation and is treating the case as a local matter.
The disturbance came the same day as military jets escorted a commercial jetliner bound for Hawaii back to the Portland, Ore., airport because of a disruptive passenger. The FBI said there was no known terrorism link in that case. The passenger, identified only as a 56-year-old man from Salem, Ore., was released

Somehow, I think this is all part of the plan to alienate, perhaps to divide and separate, his fan base. Who cares if he loses a few listeners? He is allowed to continue his tirades as long as he sticks to the plan and avoid the ineligibility issue.

As I said before, if Beck doesn’t pony up, treat him as you would a troll and don’t feed him. He’ll either change his tune or go away. In either case, he is being given time to recant. I don’t trust him much, though, after this.

My thoughts on Beck – He’s trying to thread that thin line down the middle of the road. O’Reilly must have given him some of his advice. He is one who opened my eyes to just how much the founders relied on the Bible while formulating them, and if not the bible then 2 books called the “treatis” or something like that and that author (John Locke) relied heavily on the bible for our declaration and constitution.

line, they were trying to find a way to say congress would not force one denomination on the whole country. at the time about 95% of citizens were Christian and the remaining 5% were Jewish or non belief in biblical God.
I myself don’t believe it necessary that people believe in God that is their personal eternal choice , but I do think people living in this country should respect the documents and the spirit in which they were written, with the belief that people would be taught good morals and be self governing to the point of having respect for laws and not purposely hurting neighbors and all, so no need for big govt if the citizens kept up the self governing. but once people decide they can do as they please and no responsibility – then we get the mess we are now in. just my take on it.

I am so ticked off right now. My husband and I are two older people in our late 50s. Yet now our stupid electric bill is outrageous, plus we use propane to keep us warm, which has lasted like 2, 2 1/2 weeks. The propane is out of this world!
I don’t know what we’re going to do. When Pres. Bush was in office, it was high, but it was never this bad and it’s going to get worse.
My husband and I have always been relatively poor to many of the rest of Americans, sometimes not as bad, but we’ve always worked, always. So I’m saying now, what are we supposed to do, just totally give up working? I just can’t imagine giving up. I know there’s people around the country who haven’t worked a day, then there are people disabled and can’t work but wish that they could. We have always worked, never sued anyone, although we could have. Always been honest, but I guess that this don’t cut it anymore.

Think strategically. In liberal parts of the country, a “RINO” will still be better than a Democrat. And if that’s the only choice, support the Republican, even if he or she is not your ideal candidate. Einstein debunks Obot eligibility theory
Albert Einstein did much of his work in physics by conducting “thought experiments”.
Here is a political thought experiment designed to refute the naïve thought that I have seen repeated so many times; “the fact that Obama’s mother was a US citizen when Obama was born settles the issue, regardless of where on the planet he was born”:
Suppose that in 1975 Osama bin Laden married his first wife, an American girl who was only 17 years old. A male child was born to Osama bin Laden that same year. By the year 2012 this male child was old enough to be President of the United States and since his mother was an American Barak Hussein Osama was legally able to be on the ballot and in 2012 the son of Osama bin Laden was elected as President.
Or is that just plain wrong?

I wonder what happened to ‘investigative journalism’ and when exactly it died. I can’t answer that question, but I do know that there are no investigative journalists left, just media whores.
I’m not sure about Dobbs, but I’m thinking that he’s just like the rest of them; if he wasn’t, then why didn’t he blow the lid off this when he left CNN? He was no longer under the constraints of the Communist News Network, so why didn’t he make a move?

Alcoholism is a true disease. My family learned this the hard way. My brother literally had to hit bottom before he woke up. We went to Al – Alnon (A group meeting for family members). I really learned alot there. I suggest your friend go there for advise. They have been thru it and have great advice. Did you know an alcoholic can die from withdrawals if not medically monitored. I did not – I thought they could just quit if they really wanted to! Not so!

It’s hers to deal with; she’s 1200 miles away so all I can offer is e-mail/phone support. I just can’t drum up a lot of sympathy for Sis because of many factors.
Although everyone has their own take about addictions such as alcoholism, I believe it’s a choice rather than a ‘disease.’ While some trend towards alcohol, it’s the choice we make. I believe it’s a choice, just like drugs. You choose to try it; what happens after that can be tragic.
I do think there are such things as addictive personalities (I’m one of them, and I saw that early on) so if people can identify that (i.e., trying something and liking it a little too much) and steer away from the influences, I think that makes all the difference.
I can understand the ‘disease’ opinion, but I haven’t seen a body of scientific research to back that up. If you have anything on that, please post?

Most family members are enablers to the alcoholic or addict. They tend to make excuses and cover-up their screw-ups. Once the family stops doing this, the alco/addict has t0 face reality. Most have the same type of personality – macho, conceited but have missed something along the way. With my brother, it was his relationship with my Dad. Once sober he and Dad dealt with their problems and have never had a better relationship.
Bottom line though is they have to want to get better and get sober. Until then, it’s a losing battle!

I have a brother who battles alcohol and a good friend dealing with alcohol and muchmore.
I found a group near me not al-anon, the leader was a recovering alcholic and Rx addict. He got into counseling, it’s not always a choice. About 4% of population is wired that the first time they drink or use, it’s a life long battle from there. YES for the other 96% it is choice, but for 4% it’s genetic bad luck.
It was helpful to know that so now I understand my brothers is by choice, he can and has at times stopped. for others like my friend, its’ been a battle since age 10, when joking adults started him on it and it snow balled to take over his life. Yes he is now responsible to battle it, but at 10 years old he had no clue what it was or that it would lead to life long battle.
For anyone interested there are good church based support groups like Celebrate Recovery and I know I have heard of others, but CR is bible based in my area for all sorts of hurts hangups and habits. Just a good place to know you are not alone whether you are going thru grief or battling other changes you are trying to make in your life.
Two things: First, The religious conversation going on regarding “separation of church and state” which is not in the constitution, but rather “freedom of religion”…anyway, the founding fathers themselves represented different flavors of religion. The problem they were fleeing, and risked EVERYTHING for might I add, was to be FREE to exercise those DIFFERENT flavors of their religion IN THE PUBLIC SQUARE without being punished by imprisonment, torture, or death!
This was the whole point! To throw religion OUT OF THE PUBLIC SQUARE IS PERSECUTION according to our founding fathers. Freedom OF religon not FROM religon.
Liberals have done a damn good job brainwashing in this subject, they’ve even convinced very good and decent people that to be “fair” we must rid the public square of all this “offense”. NONSENSE. Another liberal lie!
the second thing: RINOS, I’m inclined to agree with Michelle to a point with this. In the VERY liberal areas, we might have to put them in, BUT the conservatives must be the super majority and be people of spine insisting that the RINOS either respect the party plank or else!

Disappointed in Beck AND O’Reilly.
Noticed something interesting, after that incident O’Reilly had in the hotel room with one of his prior (girl of the night) guests, O’Reilly changed. Don’t know if it was because of the alleged highly publicized “pay off” to keep her quiet, but he changed. His program changed, and he became an ass kisser. Pardon, but that’s the only way to discribe it. He’s not been the same since that widely publicized problem.
Fast forward to Glen Beck. I’m not even insinuating that Beck has anything to do with call girls, but what IS interesting, is that up until the Birth Certificate and the Tea Parties began — Beck was MY MAN! I was behind him 100% and I thought FINALLY, someone who GETS it. Then, just like O’Reilly (but likely for different reasons) Beck CHANGED. He’s not the same guy anymore.
I’m wondering if it has to do with pure personal reasons like maybe O’Reilly, neither want to lose their jobs and probably are making the mistaken assumption that if they tone it down and try to act like a centrist, they will stay on the air longer? Keep the money flowing in? But at what cost? To turn on your viewers, the ones who supported you and BELIEVED you, is not a good thing. It actually discredits you. It discredited O’Reilly. You might remember he started getting people to come on his show with this “I give you a fair shake” B.S. Like Bill Maher. Maybe O’Reilly was trying to say, if I give you a fair shake, you’ll go easy on me for what I did.
But Beck? That’s anyone’s guess. I’m not happy with him right now, and am ready to boycott watching him. HE MUST take on the birth certificate as being a LEGITIMATE issue open for discussion and investigation. He must also acknowledge the Tea Party people.
Our founding fathers didn’t fight a revolution so we can have RINOs and fabian socialists in government IMHO.

yes I’m ok withyou passing along info to your friend. The first family/friends of addict group I went to was the guy who was affiliated with a hospital in my area, he was the one who went on to be a couselor and had all the statistical info, since he was recovering and also had to leave a spouse who would not get into recovery and unfortunately lost a daughter to addiction last year. He seemed well qualified to speak from many angles of the battle. He did not take the fact I no longer drink but abuse food as a serious addiction issue, and I respect that he was dealing with alcohol and drug addicts and familys of them.
That is when I found CR near me which does cover food addictions. when my brother had an issue last year and said maybe he needed to get back with God, I found in his area a group called Overcomers in Christ another church based group for people dealing with variety of issues.
I do know now knowledge is power. I can only change me and sometimes yes we need to let those we love hit the bottom, sometimes more then once, and if we are praying people, pray for them and anyone they may be around/involved with when they are out drinking etc, for them all to open up to the healing available thru Jesus.
most likely only the churches or al-anon will have the support for family/friends unless there happens to be someone at a hospital who takes it upon themself (like the guy I found) to set up a group to help family/friends. but for the sister, yes the courts might be a catalyst to get her into help, or there are the church based, state run, or hospital options, but you are right, she has to want to for the best result.
I will pray for them. it’s a spiritual battle as well.

Kim, I had to step back from the eligibility issue just a bit when Judge Carter dismissed Orly’s case there.
I was feeling terribly negative energy. It was an awfully heavy burden. Yes, these are incredibly serious times, may well be the end times.
I just want to tell you that you have to let some of that go. Don’t carry something so heavy all the time, doing so can have negative consequences on your health.
For my own part, I had to realize that this is mostly out of my hands. I am going to continue to do what I can, but I have to be realistic for the sake of my own sanity.

I hate to say it but even if “O” is not a NBC it will never see the light of day in court. Glenn Beck should have not used such harsh words but we need to concentrate on things we might be able to change. We will never get any where w/ this birth certificate or his sealed documents. What I mean is that he never goes that extra dot to connect Obama to anything, example: the expose he did with ACORN and SEIU he put everything out there, he connected the dots but when it came down to the last dot saying the ACORN and SEIU are parts of Obama’s arms and tools, Beck came short and never said it outloud ” OBAMA “.
As for O’Raily, what can you say of a person that gets invited and goes to the Christmas party at the White House and then raves about how charming the Obamas are. O’Raily is a fake, fraud.

My salvation?? I will be rewarded in the Lord’s kingdom for what I do here on earth…….And, in my hereafter, there are no politicians!!!
Our propane here is about 1.90 and we’ve been waiting for hook-up for a week………
However, now we use a utility propane heater and the refill is $16 for 4 gallon tank ……….not advised to use indoors, but we do…….the 500 gallon tank filled/rental/installation, etc for about $1000 is the best way to go…have resisted since I plan to sell, but with cold here I gave in and waiting for installation as I type, but it snowed.
I pray for any family that has no access to heat….I save all I can for the utilities…….and, yes, we are in the same situation as you.
The decision to disconnect the internet or the tv last year was hard…….but our homeowner’s and property taxes are more important to me. I shutter to think what this year will bring……I don’t think we’ve seen the worst.

Shocked Mass. Interim Senator Violates Neutrality Pledge
No surprise here. When the Massachusetts legislature passed a law, at the request of a dying Ted Kennedy, to allow the Governor to appoint an interim successor, a key justification was that the interim appointee not only would not run for office but also would remain neutral in the special election.
That special appointee was Paul Kirk, and yesterday Kirk violated his neutrality by appearing at a campaign event with the Kennedy family to endorse Martha Coakley:

then ask all the questions involving graft, fraud, payola etc. At least it gets the questions out there. When can we expect an answer so that we can publish it?

My sympathies! I do have one suggestion. If natural gas is available to you it would probably behoove you to think about using it instead of LP gas. The LP gas doesn’t yeild anywhere near the same BTU per pound in comuustion as does natural gas. In some areas natural gas is cheaper per THERM. Always check out the cost per therm before committing. Of course if Nat. isn’t available to you then you don’t have many options except to consider a couple of boxwood heaters at each end of your house. Or, you can do like a lot of people did during WW2. They installed kerosene, or coal burning space heaters in a central point of their homes. While such devices carry a certain level of danger, they are made much less dangerous via. intelligent use. gas

Why did she try to stop a firefighter’s lawsuit for disability? She tried to have it thrown out of court but was over ruled by the judge who wanted to hear it. A firefighter was first injured in 2000 and returned to work. He was injured a few years later and also returned to work. He was injured again and was not allowed to return to work by orders of his doctor. He applied for disability – and she wanted to count his pay only up to 2000 and ignore the work he did do until 2007. (I may be off by one year but the situation is accurate.) Nasty woman. Also, the fiasco she caused with the child care “satinists” is another reason she is not qualified to lead the people of MA. Go, Brown!

The three stooges – Beck, Pat, & Stu – are paper tigers. The conservative media built them up and now that Beck has conceded his conservative bona fides, conservatives are disappointed. It’s interesting that Beck has brought Pat Gray on as a “partner.” He has never really considered Stu to be a partner, but now he seems to need two partners. Beck is nothing but a stooge and unfortunately, he is not even strong enough to stand up to the likes of O’Reilly. I don’t think there are any true conservatives at Fox, so don’t put any stock in Fox unless you want to be disappointed again. Best to turn off Fox and stick to internet sites for news.
There does appear to be a powerful force behind the obfuscation of the natural born citizen and eligibility issue. Some of the legal cases against BHO must be rattling their cages!

Beck should be made aware of the fact that the law in place in 1961 has recently been “rediscovered”, and made a part of the HOLLISTER v SOETORO case. From the motion (which contains an attachment of the HI “Territorial Law 57”)
“”What in fact the territorial statute in effect before the 1982 statute sets out is an even greater latitude enabling and entitling persons to register a child for up to a year after its birth and to do so, if not attended by a locally licensed physician or midwife, for the parents or one of them to fill out the birth certificate or for a “local registrar” to fill out a birth certificate “from anyone having knowledge of the birth.” Thus a child born outside of Hawaii and attended by a non-Hawaii licensed health care provider or born unattended could get a Hawaii birth certificate nonetheless.”

When Beck first called us “birther idiots” on his August 5, 2008 TV show, I was extremely offended and emailed him asking him to explain some of the facts. His staffer wrote me back and said “I’ve looked at all the FACTS and completely agree with Glenn.” Which means they haven’t looked at any of the facts and Beck gets his talking points from O’Reilly.
Extremely disappointed.
He went off on again today that believe Obama is not a natural born citizen. The moment he started that, I turned the channel. I want to watch his show, but that was the last time.
Scott, we did the exact same thing – quit watching and deleted the rest of the show off TiVo. If he’s this stupid about this subject, how much else of what he’s saying is utter crap?
I thought he had common sense – but what does a conspiracy theory about plotting a presidency around faking a birth in HI have ANYthing to do with the real issues? It has nothing to do with any of that. It has to do what what his records reveal that he’s working so hard to hide and that fact that he became a British citizen at birth because of his father (partus sequitur patrem) and is ineligible by the Founders statements and multiple court precedent.
Beck’s reasoning is that because there was a birth announcement in HI that proves he was born there. How stupid is that? My grandma sure as heck would be so proud of my birth that she’d put an announcement in her home town regardless of where my mom moved to and especially if my mom had lived in that town.
Beck isn’t even using his head. He is a puppet and a hypocrite. Here’s an awesome video someone put together using Beck’s own hypocritical words against him.
