Obama-ACORN-marginal lending practices, fraud-he accuses the bankers of being “fat cats” look at how he and Michelle run through money.
Hope someone does a study on those 2 for a year in office. They could be setting a much better example by cutting their expenses to the taxpayers by 95 per cent and no Czars.
Wasn’t he part of the group that invaded bankers offices and meetings and demanded the mess that needs to be resolved now. Threats of lawsuits, intimidation-he can’t play innocent now, since he was a player. Some of the bankers- I don’t know- if they were unwilling players, went along to go along, or out right crooks-seems to be a mix of all of it.
I just so happened to be talking with my brother re: his mortgage.
I read this book years ago The Bankers Secret by Marc Eisenson from an article in The Star.
Say a person has a mortgage of $750.00 per month and is able through sacrifice to save $100.00 per month to put into savings. If you put the extra $100.00 on the mortgage it will be earning 644 % (I think that is the sum they quoted) as opposed to whatever current interest rate is. In other words-your savings account is the equity in your home. I tried this on a house I owned and it works. Another way of putting this cuts a 30 year mortgage into 15, or a 15 year into 7.50. It does involve sacrifice, you have to be a person good with budgets-I have great discipline in that area.
I believe that anything Acorn is involved with will ultimately cause a more negative standard of living over the entire US if it is allowed to have it’s way. It is clear that while they have been set back they are by no means out cold. In reality their SLIMEY friends who are still alive within our Government,are doing everything possible to assist Acorn. It will take one hell of a battle to finish them off.

You are exactly right regarding the mortgage comment. The interest that such a practice varies a little because there are a few other variables involved. But you do several things at once; one of which is shorten the duration of the mortgage, hence less interest paidout, and you build equity much faster. In doing these two things you generate very neat returns. Too bad everyone can’t do this. Maybe they could if they had enough earnings, but today it is more than likely that most are barely able to even pay their mortgage payments.
What interest rates are we getting these days in our savings accounts? 0.50% Is a frikken joke scam. Bring on the wars!~~

oldsalt77 -Thank you old salt. Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago by parents who grew up in the depression, teaches you fiscal responsibility. We were taught-do NOT live beyond your means, below if possible, save the rest (for when a good deal comes up-you will be ready).
Save then buy in some cases for cash. This requires sacrifice-and I don’t know anyone who died of sacrificing.
People now days have to learn especially with a houses-a major capital investment. Shop around, rehab preferred-on my first house I didn’t know how to hold a paint brush, you learn a lot, and get much better at it. Have house checked out by a person in construction-family (mine), friends (mine, too)-they will want to look for major structural defects=expensive. Cosmetic can be painted, fixed, modified etc.
Mortgages, fees etc. can be negotiated-you would be amazed at the power of the word NO.
If you are squeamish about negotiating “haggling” have a friend like me do it. Negotiating physically makes some people sick, I’m not one of them-natural born I guess. Think of negotiating as a dance-a meeting of the minds will occur somewhere down the road-or no deal-wait for a better opportunity (to save more money).
To put it another way a 30 year mortgage should not be a jail sentence, I imagine that it what it must feel like to those who overbought, due to razzle dazzle real estate sales people (commission v/s customer satisfaction), bankers same. They all made commissions on this stuff-consumer living with the results of listening to them. Experience is a hard master, hopefully they are a lot smarter now.

Kansas hate group protests against gays, Jews, but few notice
PALM BEACH GARDENS — The small Kansas church made famous for telling the world who they believe God hates brought its message to Palm Beach County today. But few people paid any attention or took the anti-Semitic and anti-homosexual protestors seriously.
A group of four protestors from the Topeka, Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church marched on the sidewalk of PGA Boulevard in front of the shopping plaza where the Jewish Community Center of the Greater Palm Beaches had an office. They had American and Israeli flags dragging on the ground from their belts as they walked and their signs ranged from saying “Israel is Doomed” and “The Beast” with a picture of President Barack Obama to more inflammatory signs.
“This was just a good spot to get our message out to people that they need to obey their God,” said Betty Phelps, of Topeka, the daughter-in-law of Westboro church founder Fred Phelps.
The anti-homosexual group is famous for picketing the funerals of soldiers, staging inflammatory demonstrations and sending out faxes claiming that God hates locations where major tragedies have occurred. According to the group’s faxes during the past few years, God hates the United States military, Sweden, Delaware and numerous other places. They have also targeted Jewish groups.
The group also protested across the street from Seminole Ridge High School in Loxahatchee as school let out in the afternoon, and several students yelled profanities at the protestors. Protests also were planned at two Jewish worship locations later today as well as locations in Boca Raton and Broward and Miami-Dade counties tomorrow.
“We select high schools because they are the up-and-coming generation that are being lied to and told it is OK to be gay,” Betty Phelps said.
Several Palm Beach Gardens police officers monitored the earlier protest and took pictures, but there were no incidents and no arrests.
Most people in the shopping plaza didn’t pay the protestors any mind and no officials from the community center came out to watch. One passerby, Mike Cahill, said he is a Christian and the group’s message makes no sense to him.
“The central message of the Gospel is good news and the good news is that God loves everyone,” Cahill said. “This seems to be counter to the message because it is hateful.”
The Anti-Defamation league, on its Web site about hate groups, referred to the Westboro church as ” a small, virulently homophobic, anti-Semitic hate group.” Andrew Rosenkrantz, the anti-defamation league’s Florida regional director, said the Westboro group is not affiliated with any known mainstream religious organization.
One woman driving by in a car shouted profanity at the protestors and several drivers flipped them middle fingers. Betty Phelps said the accusations that her group is spreading hate don’t change their message.
“What they are saying is that the truth is hate,” Betty Phelps said.
Three members of local gay activist groups showed up to watch the protestors and plan to stage a counter protest against the Westboro group in Boca Raton tomorrow, said activist Adam Barksdale.
Two Jewish employees at a kosher deli across the street from the protest decided to show that they don’t take the anti-Jewish
message of the Westboro church seriously. Leib Ezhe and Toby Lewis dressed up like a pickle and a hot dog and stood on the street corner near the protestors with a sign advertising David’s East Side Deli.
“It’s a joke. We’re showing what a joke they are,” Eshe said as they shouted ‘pickles.’ “They’re trying to get us upset but they’re losers. They’re nothing.”
Rabbi Yoel Gancz of the Chabad of West Palm Beach said his group meets at several different locations to worship and their registered address is actually a private residence in a gated community, so the protestors will likely not be able to reach that location to protest later today.
He said his group is holding a menorah lighting ceremony in Cityplace on Tuesday and he hopes the Westboro group stays away from that ceremony.
“We are in the middle of Chanukah. It is all about lighting up the darkness,” Gancz said. “I can’t see a better response to them than to go about our business and continue lighting up the world.”

Senate candidate Andy Martin disclosed Monday that Senator Jim DeMint’s “Senate Conservatives Fund” [http://www.senateconservatives.com/] has been promoting a failed Chicago area real estate “developer,” Patrick Hughes, whose firm has apparently defaulted on municipal fidelity bonds.
“What has Hughes ‘developed?'” Martin asks DeMint to explain. “One of Hughes development operations is apparently defunct, another has failed to file annual reports,” and the firm that lists him as ‘General Counsel’ has been accused by Yorkville, Illinois village officials of a ‘faded and unattractive’ series of site-based advertisements and defaulting on fidelity bonds. ‘Did DeMint do de vetting?'” Andy asks.
“DeMint conducted a bogus ‘poll’ to promote Hughes. If DeMint & Co. are going to criticize Barack Obama for negligent vetting, should DeMint be held to the same vetting standard he expects of others?” Martin says. “Is this a way to elect ‘conservative Republicans?’ Pat Hughes has been very liberal with the truth.”

“I feel sorry for Mr. Hughes,” Martin said in response. “I have known for some time that Hughes’ inner circle is obsessed with my criticism of their candidate. Sunday afternoon they were rude to me before Hughes’ outburst. Then Hughes had his meltdown. Mr. Hughes, the ‘Forty year-Old [Political] Virgin’ obviously can’t stand the heat in the kitchen. And he thinks he is qualified to take on seasoned Democratic Party gunslingers?
“Mr. Hughes has lied to his supporters, and his supporters have lied to local and national Republicans. Unlike Hughes, who lives and campaigns on lies, I only deal in the truth. I have only told the truth about Mr. Hughes, and I will continue to only tell the truth.
“As President Harry Truman would say, ‘I just tell the truth [about my opponents] and they think it’s hell.’
“Mr. Hughes has a lot to learn about politics. A U. S. Senate campaign does not come equipped with training wheels.

I believe that anything Acorn is involved with will ultimately cause a more negative standard of living over the entire US if it is allowed to have it’s way. Can’t say that this is a surprise, either. Have been getting info in that Tamiflu was actually making people ‘worse’ and it wasn’t any kind of Herxheiser reaction! The reactions were completely different from what one would think of if the drug ‘purging’ the virus. Some reactions were violent, and the patients were promptly pulled off the drug.
Of course, antivirals are more difficult to manufacture than antibiotics, and one size doesn’t fit all. Still, profit is the name of the game and we need to keep that in mind.
Will be back at work tomorrow and will see if I can find any info on Relenza, the alternate antiviral.
BTW, states are stockpiling this Tamiflu trash ‘in case it’s needed.’ Ha!

Oklahoma law passed, 37 to 9, had a few liberals in the mix, an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake. Hey this is a conservative state, based on Christian values…! HB 1330
Guess what………. Oklahoma did it anyway.
Oklahoma recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from unless they want to get a green card and become an American citizen. They all scattered. HB 1804. Hope we didn’t send any of them to your state. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU, they said it would be a mistake.
Guess what………. Oklahoma did it anyway.

It has been my repeated experience to discover that nearly every person I have inter acted with in commerce and socially have no idea that Obama is being challenged in American courts and elsewhere to produce his legal records to prove he is eligible to be our president. In fact in a recent AOL survey 67% of the people believe Obama is qualified under the Constitution to be president.
The really big lesson we learned since Obama’s campaign is that main stream and Fox media are definitely suppressing vital information needed by the American public in order to make the right voting and other survival decisions. Those of us fortunate enough to be connected to the inter net are able to research and get vital news facts that a large percentage of the American public does not. We need to become a beacon of truth and facts for the benefit of our country.
It is vital to the restoration of America that the facts regarding the history and actions of this current government be revealed to a far larger number of the American public than to just we the inter net members. There will be minimum to no restoration of America until at least 70% of America’s population agrees it is necessary to restore America now, by challenging the legitimacy of the current government; the integrity of congress and Senate and ethics of the judicial system.
It is obvious we need to begin our own information net work to get facts to all of America. We need our own news paper—with or without advertisers. We need our own system of distribution. We need our own TV news network. Obviously, it will take time, money, and experienced, ethical people in these various media to get it started and keep it running. There is no time to wait for it to happen. We need it last year—during the 2008 campaign. So how do we do it with what we have got? Let us each become anonymous underground publishers and distributors of this information in our daily life.
What if each and every blogger, poster, and website owner printed just one factual article relating to any one of the law suits—past or present challenging Obama to produce his sealed records and left copies wherever he/she goes—doctor’s office, super market, restaurants, hardware stores, back of the church, gym, and so on.
Put one simple head line on it. Suggestions to name the paper:
Your own ideas are probably superior to the following:
WHAT THE MEDIA DOES NOT WANT YOU TO KNOW?
LOOK WHAT MEDIA HAS NOT TOLD YOU. . .
THE TRUTH HAS GONE UNDERGROUND
YOUR LIFE AND YOUR FAMILY’S LIFE DEPEND UPON THE TRUTH
1. Find a very well written article about the challenge of Obama’s eligibility you think sums up the issue best,
2. Ask permission of the writer or web site to print it Most of them would be glad to give you permission as it would help drive traffic to their web sites.
3. You could use an actual court filed document—that is public record and it gives absolute authenticity and can be easily validated because of the court filing numbers on it
4. Print it and make 100 or more copies—depending on you time, money, & energy
5. Take them with you everywhere you go, leave whatever number of copies at each place
You can choose to do this anonymously—like an under ground newspaper. You could decide to leave contact information. You could develop the newsletter into an opportunity to sell ads or you could simply just continue to get out the message. Any way you choose, the most important action is to continue brining the information the media refuses to publish and let anyone and every one know the TRUTH AND FACTS.
There are 300,000,000+ Americans who must learn truth from the sophistry heaped upon America, today. If there are at least 100,000 bloggers who start publishing one article a week and print only 100 and leave them wherever they go, that will reach 1,000,000. That 1,000,000 reach 2,000,000 and soon it will catch on.
There are many sources to find these articles—Orly Taitz has published all her filed briefs. Mario Puzzo, Phil Berg, Leo Donofrio, and other also have filed briefs in the courts—all of those are available to the public. The Heritage Foundation, The Oath Keepers, Citizenwells, The Right Side of America, We The People Foundation, The jag hunter, WND and so on are all excellent sources of material on this subject. With their permission—let’s get the word out to the others who—for whatever reason—are still in the dark. Wouldn’t this take away the thunder of those who choose to denigrate the just Americans for daring to challenge Obama’s legitimacy?

Michelle, I was glad to see you included Howard Dean in your list of crooks that need to come to justice. When they nominated Obama I watched Dean exit the scene and announce he would not seek another term as president with the DNC. I thought at the time that he was heading for the hills before the backlash came from nominating someone who is clearly not a natural born citizen.

now. I’ve had it with O’Reilly. I said before I was through watching his show, and this is just another reminder why.
I was not a 100% supporter of everything Pres. Bush did, but please don’t compare him in any way, shape, or form to the “lunatic” in office now. Thank you.
